In the previous research, it was proved that there were so many factors like students’ personal characteristics, family background, learning habits, previous academic background, college environment etc. which influence directly or indirectly the performance of college students in their university examination. The number of such factors has been identified by studying the previous work carried out by different researchers in different geographical areas and boundaries of the world. In many researches, when the opinions of the students and teaching faculties has been taken for similar factors to know the importance of these factors, the significant differences was found in their opinion for some factors. This paper investigates and compares the faculties’ assumptions with the students’ perceptions for various influencing factors. The comparison is done on the basis of their ranking of mean values of the factors allocated by students and faculties independently as per the importance of factors and one way ANOVA is used to check the significance of differences in their opinion. The result shows that there are similarities in the opinions of both, faculties and students, for most of the factors. But for some factors the significant differences in their opinion is also observed. The result of this research can be used for enhancing the performance of students by improving the influencing factors rank-wise. Top ranked factors may be given higher priority. Also this study will provide a platform for continuing the debate on the importance of various influencing factors for engineering students.

<p>The ideas of others always influence people because they are social animals. They will evaluate a movie based on the rating level and change their decision based on someone&rsquo;s advice. It is expected that the comments on the news are reversed suddenly because of a few people, especially in the context of the communication wave set off by the Internet as a new media. It is worth noting that there is a relationship between the deviation of public opinion and the intimacy between people, and confidence and openness also play a role. Recently, there has been renewed interest in dynamic models of research opinions. Our goal is to build a dynamic model of opinion offset based on various influencing factors and then use it to control public opinion more accurately and reduce the loss caused by them. We analyzed existing models and found that few articles considered people&rsquo;s confidence, openness, and intimacy together. Therefore, we designed new models that considered all the influencing factors. We tested the model with actual data and achieved high accuracy. Finally, we found that opinions would eventually converge to a peak value, and the time needed for convergence was affected by intimacy, openness, and confidence.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Aim: The aim of this study is to assess the opinion of secondary medical school students in Kosovo about nursing. Methods: This descriptive-analytical study was conducted with 1282 secondary medical school students from four regions of Kosovo through random sampling. Data were collected from March to May 2018 by a questionnaire designed for this study from the researchers. It consisted of two sections, the sociodemographic part and the second part about opinion and perceptions about the nursing profession. Continuous variables are summarized as mean and standard deviation (SD), categorical variables are summarized as frequency (n) and percentages (%). Chi square (x2) test is used to analyze the difference between categorical variables Results: The family had a proactive impact on the choice of the study program for their child. More than half of the students had a favourable opinion of nursing prior to enrolling in secondary medical school. After enrolling in the study program, more than two-thirds of students (72.2%) have a favourable opinion of nursing. More than half of the students (52.6%) believe that the community perceives nursing positively. Conclusion: Most of the secondary school students have a positive opinion about nursing and think that community have a positive opinion as well. The secondary medical school plays an important role in the improvement of student’s opinion about nursing. Keywords: opinions, nurses, students, secondary schools, Kosovo

The study was conducted to investigate the opinion of truants about their teachers, their academic achievement and their reasons for skipping classes. It also investigated gender differences among truants in terms of their opinion about their teachers. Purposive sampling technique was used to draw a sample of 30 truants with an equal number of boys and girls. Traunts were identified by their respective teachers. The Survey of Study Habits and Attitudes (1965) form C was used to measure the opinion of truants about their teachers. One sample t test was used to analyze the data. The results indicated that truants carry a bad opinion about their teachers. They also indicated that truants have an average academic achievement. However, the study indicated no significant gender differences among truants in terms of their opinion about their teachers. Furthermore, the findings indicated that the teachers’ boring teaching style is the most frequently reported reason for skipping classes. Truants need counseling to change their perceptions regarding their teachers’ attitude as they believe that teachers exercise their authority too much and they give a hard time to students. The study can be beneficial for teachers, parents and educationists as it highlights the reasons behind truancy, opinions of truants about their teachers, their academic achievements and the need for counseling to modify their perceptions about their teachers.

Many student-teachers (and the students they teach) fail to understand the difference between opinions in the sense of preferences, and opinions in the sense of judgments. The phrase “That’s just your opinion!” (as wielded by contestants on the television series “American Idol”) is used to shield not only preferences but also judgments from public scrutiny. This misunderstanding springs from confusion between pluralism and relativism. Students’ fear of moral absolutism leads them to espouse relativism when they should be promoting pluralism. Within a conception of education as a social practice that mediates between the private and the public, students must learn both to justify their own judgments and to examine the judgments and justifications that others provide. This requires that students learn to distinguish “just my opinion” and “just your opinion” from morally significant judgments.

The average confidence in knowledge about Americans was higher in exchange participants than the confidence of non-participants. Having a more positive opinion of the U.S., American ideas about democracy, American music, movies, and television, and desire to travel to the U.S. all were significantly associated with a more positive opinion about Americans.

Both groups of parents positively rated opinion statements favoring inclusion; however, parents of students with disabilities consistently rated inclusion-focused statements more positively than parents of nondisabled students.

This study integrates the Spiral of Silence and Uses and Gratifications theories to examine the willingness of university students to express on Twitter their opinions about a controversial issue, women serving as judges in Kuwait and Egypt. The analysis of a survey of 640 respondents showed that they used Twitter for information seeking, opinion formation, opinion reinforcement, and social utility in discussions, and for its democratizing capability. Democratization was the only motive to predict the expression of opinion online. When the Kuwaiti and Egyptian samples were analyzed separately, the democratization motive predicted opinion expression for the Kuwaiti students but not for the Egyptian students. Interaction effects between motivations and size of the respondent's social network on Twitter were found to predict the online expression of opinion. For example, the variable assessing the size of a respondent's social network interacted with information seeking motivation and also with opinion reinforcement to predict opinion expression online.

In a survey study, we investigated teacher attitudes toward acceleration and accelerated students in the Netherlands. Teachers ( N = 334) from 31 secondary schools gave their opinion about gifted education and acceleration, and evaluated statements about accelerated students. Most teachers considered a special approach for gifted students advisable and acceleration a useful intervention. Teachers' opinions about accelerated students' social competence, school motivation and achievement, emotional problems, and isolation were qualified by the quantity and quality of prior experience with accelerated students and by their opinion on acceleration in gifted education. In a subsequent intervention study, we examined whether specific information on acceleration and giftedness changes teachers' attitudes toward accelerated students. Teachers who attended the information meeting and received written information expressed more positive opinions about accelerated students' social competence and school achievement and motivation and less negative opinions about emotional problems after intervention. Implications for gifted child education are discussed.

The aims of this study were to find out how Opinion Gap Strategy can improve students speaking abilities and to know students’ responses on the implementation of Opinion Gap Strategy in speaking class. The study employed Classroom Action Research consisting of four steps, namely: planning, action, evaluation, and reflection. The instruments used to collect the data were tests, observations, and questionnaire. This study was conducted at class X4 of SMA Negeri 6 Ambon in 2016/2017 Academic Year at which the students were identified as having problem in speaking abilities. Based on the result of study, the implementation of Opinion Gap Strategy could help and motivate students to express their opinions, ideas, and feelings ona given topics. Furthermore, this strategy also provided positive effects since the students’ responses on the questionnaire sheets showed students’ agreement on the implementation of the strategy to improve their speaking abilities.

We propose a three-opinion Sznajd model with limited persuasion in which two neighbors still can influence others when the two opinions differ by a small amount. The simulation results show that the initial condition plays a crucial role in the final results and the interaction between people's opinion occurs in the common boundaries of the small districts constituted by the people holding the same opinion. We apply the model to describe the interaction on the attitude toward studying between students in a class or school which is similar with the opinion evolution and give a rough explanation about why a class or school mostly consists of ordinary students.

Sentiment Analysis is a field of science in analyzing a sentiment or opinion on a particular object or problem and the opinion can be divided into several purposes (classes) that lead to negative, neutral or positive opinions. Gadgets (gadgets) are human aids in many fields including work, entertainment, communication and information, the use of gadgets themselves encompasses all ages including school students who use gadgets excessively that affect the mental, physical and attitudes of users. Twitter social media is one of the social media that is used by the public in making opinions about the influence of gadgets, especially parents, these opinions are useful for other users in determining the granting of access rights and direction for children, especially students in using gadgets. Opinion classification is needed in making it easier for other users to see whether opinions from the influence of gadgets fall into the negative, neutral or positive classes. The method used in the classification of opinion is Support Vector Machine (SVM). The data used in this study amounted to 1354 taken in 2019 using web scraping techniques on the Twitter site which are then pre-processed so that it can be processed into the program and classified into 3 classes of sentiments, namely negative, neutral and positive sentiments. In finding the average value of accuracy in the distribution of training data and test data using k-fold cross validation of 10-fold produces an average value of 85.3%. Then testing is done to measure the performance of the SVM method using confusion matrix in the percentage of training data and different test data and produces the highest accuracy value of 83.3%.

The coronavirus outbreak has impacted all aspects of human life, including the greatest impact is on education. Therefore, the education system that is being carried out conventionally must be converted into online learning to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This article aims to describe (1) the students' opinions regarding English subjects in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, (2) the students' difficulties during online learning in English subjects, (3) the students' opinions about understanding the material in English subjects during online learning. This research used a descriptive qualitative design, by using interviews to get the data. The subjects of this study were 2 female and 1 male high achiever students from the first language class in Senior High School 2 situated in the area of a small town Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia. The research instruments used were mainly personal chats interviews with the subjects of the study. The data collection was conducted in December 2020. The results showed that (1) online learning is less effective, significant, and boring; (2) difficulties that they face are unstable network, difficulty in the delivery of material provided by the teacher, and teacher’s teaching methods; (3) most of them also had difficulty in understanding the materials provided by the teacher.

In recent years, with the rapid development of information technology, the Internet has gradually become an interactive platform for people to exchange ideas, collide emotions, spread information, and release emotions. The openness, anonymity, and inclusiveness of the Internet have reduced the obstacles of information dissemination and triggered the conflict of public opinion on the Internet. In addition, students actively express their opinions, attitudes, and feelings on important topics in life and study on the Internet, forming a certain scale of online opinions reflecting students’ unique political attitudes, moral concepts, and values. Because college students are immature physically and mentally and the network environment is full of phenomena, it is easy to arouse their emotional resonance. Therefore, the free and diverse network environment presents new challenges and higher requirements of the times for the stable operation of college network public opinion guidance. Therefore, how to form systematic education in universities combined with ideological and political network public opinions under big data has become an important problem to be solved. Based on this paper presents the communication pattern of network public opinion and model it, namely, the random network public opinion transmission model. By comparing the scope and influence of the two transmission paths of network public opinion, the paper draws the conclusion and strengthens the teaching practice of ideological and political courses. Finally, it is pointed out that the research of the ideological and political network public opinion communication path is a complex digital communication system project, which requires the government, the media, and the schools together to give suggestions in the guidance of the network public opinion.

This work is a new step towards the understanding of students’ opinions about the use of technology in learning and improvements to provide sustainable E-learning solutions. Every higher educational university tries to provide well-suited, updated, and trending technology-based education facilities to its students. The task of analyzing the student’s sentiment about technology delivers benefits not only to ICT administrators, but also to management to become aware of the technological concerns. The opinions of Hungarian university students were analyzed using the regression method. We investigated 165 primary samples supported by the four hypotheses. The reliability of the data sample was calculated as 0.91 with Cronbach alpha testing. The Pearson Momentum Correlation (PMC) proved that the suggested technology benefits had a linear positive association with the student’s opinion. Furthermore, technology usability was positively correlated with the benefits. The supporting results of the regression model evidenced the significant impact of technology usability and benefits on the opinions. Using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), we proposed significant features for the model that predicted students’ opinions using the educational benefit and usability parameters. These parameters statistically significantly predicted student’s opinions: F (2, 162) = 104.9, p < 0.05, R2 = 0.559. This study may be supportive of implementing the opinion mining model online and useful to university authorities to understand better the students’ sentiments about the current technological facilities provided. The authors proposed an opinion mining model to deploy on the university’s real-time “E-lection” sustainable technology.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in March 2019, online lectures or online learning modes have been established by the government through the Directorate General of Higher Education Circular Number 1 of 2020 concerning Prevention of the Spread of Covid-19 as a learning system that must be used at all levels of education units, including universities. The implementation of online lectures at universities not only raises positive opinions, but also negative perceptions of students, as reflected in student opinions whose opinions are presented in the online media news portal room. This study aims to analyze the negative views of students whose sources are extracted from opinion texts on the sample online media news portal page. This qualitative study with descriptive-interpretative analysis method seeks to analyze student opinion texts at the level of their perception, attention, interpretation, and response to the online lectures they have been attending. The purpose of descriptive research in this study is to describe student opinions in the implementation of the Merdeka Madiun University Real Work Lecture. The population or subjects of this study were students participating in the Real Work Lecture, the Chair of the LPPM, the Chair of the KKN Committee, the KKN Monev Team, Field Supervisors and Village Heads. Data collection techniques in this study using interviews and observation. While the analytical method used in this research is to use qualitative analysis methods, namely methods that aim to provide a comprehensive picture of the subject under study and are not intended to test hypotheses. The conclusion of the study shows that (1) students' opinions on the implementation of Real Work Lectures are mostly supportive and some are not; (2) student opinion is formed by perception. Furthermore, opinions can lead to attitudes in the form of feelings, understanding and behavior. After the opinion that gives rise to an attitude will lead to an agreement which will later lead to public opinion;and (3) the factors forming students' opinions on the implementation of the Real Work Lecture include cultural factors, past experiences, values held by the community and branching news. AbstractAt the end of the first semester of the 2017/18 academic year, we conducted research in the form of focus groups on the attitudes of disadvantaged primary school students toward language learning and school. The students were asked about their thoughts relating to school, their self-perceived academic efficiency and their experiences related to English classes. The results show that the children (N = 17) generally have a positive attitude towards school work and English classes. In the English classes, ICT-supported learning (e.g. the use of tablets and smartboards) is present, which the students explicitly prefer compared to more traditional approaches. School attachment and attachment to the teacher in question also play an important role as the foundations of motivation in this work process.

This research is to improve students’ speaking ability in giving opinions and responding to another’s opinion through debate. The goal of language learning is to communicate. Therefore, it will be useless for a language learner who cannot use the language at the end of the study. As one of the English skills to learn, speaking stands as an important aspect to be learned and surely it can apply knowledge insight. Through English Debate as a technique, the students are expected to be more confident in delivering their point of view in many issues in whatever circumstances. The methodology of this research is a classroom action research which consisted of 3 cycles. The subject of this research was the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Baros, the class consists of 36 students. To collect the data, the researcher used the observation checklist and field notes. Through an observation checklist, the researcher observed students’ activity in the classroom and by using field notes, the researcher reflected the problem found. Based on the research findings, the debate technique which was applied to the subjects of research showed the improvement of students’ speaking ability. Based on the result of the researcher’s observation using the observation checklist and form of field notes, it can be seen that students’ speaking ability in giving opinions and responding to another’s opinion has been improved. The percentage of students’ activity in the classroom when debate, in the first cycle, was 57%, in the second cycle was 67% and the third cycle was 76%. It indicated that the debate technique had improved students’ speaking ability in giving opinions and responding to another’s opinion. The debate in language teaching contains the principles of the debate teaching-learning process, and the teaching procedures, which will discuss how it is conducted procedurally in the classroom.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of using the gap task of opinion, reasoning and information on speaking skills at the secondary school level. This study used a quasi-experimental research method involving 352 students. The three experimental groups received treatment with gaps in opinion, reasoning, and information gap tasks. All groups were examined for their initial speaking ability. The experimental group was given an intervention with gaps in opinion, reasoning, and information while the control group was given a traditional intervention to improve speaking ability. After the intervention had been carried out, all groups were examined for their speaking ability. Data analysis was performed using one-way ANOVA. The results indicated that the experimental groups showed a significant increase in speaking ability compared to students in the control group in the post-test phase. Intervention from giving the gap task of opinion, reasoning, and information is more effective for improving speaking skills. Three assignments of opinion gaps, reasoning, and information can improve students' speaking fluency. Of the three assignments, the information gap assignment provides the most significant contribution compared to the gap of opinion and reasoning tasks because the instructions in the information gap task are more varied and more intensive in encouraging students to interact in various contexts. Based on these findings, the researcher recommends designing materials by creating assignments that contain gaps in opinions, reasoning, and information to achieve learning objectives.

The article examines family social assistance relations. Researchers give ambiguous assessments of the nature of intergenerational relationships of mutual assistance between parents and their adult children who are students. Therefore, the research aim is to determine the nature of the relationship of family-related assistance in families with student children and the impact on family assistance of the type of (joint or separate) residence of children with parents. The methodological basis of the research was the developments of the theory of reciprocity by B. Malinovsky and K. Polanyi, the concept of social assistance by N. Luhmann, as well as works of leading foreign and Russian scholars. The research was conducted on the basis of a set of general scientific methods of systems analysis, generalization and systematization, comparison, and a questionnaire. The empirical basis of the research is a survey of 300 students and 12 individual semi-structured interviews of students of the Ural State University of Economics, held in 2020. The survey and interview data were analyzed to identify the nature and motivations of family assistance in families with student children, as well as the influence of the factor of joint or separate residence of children with parents. The study shows that the relationship of family assistance in families with student children is interdependent, symmetrical, and nonequivalent, that is, based on the principle of reciprocity. A person's motivation for family assistance forms under the influence of a situation objectively perceived as requiring the support of a family member and the potential helper's readiness to assist and the person helped to be assisted. Students' support for their parents is based on non-economic motives that reflect family solidarity, feelings of reciprocity and commitment. The factor of separate or joint residence of parents and student children affects the relationship of family assistance. Thus, in families where student children live together with their parents, a higher level of intergenerational mutual assistance is established. In these families, parents and student children are much more likely to help each other on a regular, permanent basis; children are more likely to provide parents with financial assistance, emotional and psychological support, assistance in caring for parents and in household management. Material, emotional and psychological support from parents is at a high level, regardless of the type of residence.

<br/><b>Purpose:</b> The study was aimed at getting to know students' opinions on abortion, the circumstances that authorize it, and analysis of factors that may influence the views of the studied group. <br/><b>Materials and methods:</b> The study was conducted among 687 students from various regions of Poland. The respondents answered questions about the abortion law and circumstances entitling them to terminate the pregnancy. <br/><b>Results:</b> The majority of respondents (42.1%) are of the opinion that the current law protects the mother and the child well enough. 58.5% of respondents said that abortion in cases permitted by law is not a sin. Referring to the church's prohibition of abortion, 44.5% of respondents voted for its abolition. Considering the answer to this question in terms of religiosity, it turns out that 31.7% of believers taking part in the study would like this ban to be lifted. <br/><b>Conclusions:</b> Factors such as gender, place of residence, having or willingness to have children influence abortion views. Factors such as the field of study and having a permanent partner do not affect abortion views. Faith has a big impact on abortion views, and believers are more likely than non-believers to forbid abortion or restrict the right to abortion, while much less often advocate unrestricted rights to abortion.

This study aims to test the effectiveness of reality counseling to overcome the level of anxiety express opinions of students in junior high. This research uses pre experimental pre-test type post test one group design. The data analysis used is paired test of T-test, to see the change of anxiety level in experimental group between pretest and post test by looking at t table price at degrees of freedom (dk), that is the magnitude is N-1, and at a significant level α = 0,05 (95%) then we get t-table = 1,833, assuming if t count> t-table then Ha “received”. From the test results using T-Test proves that effective reality counseling in overcoming anxiety expressed the opinion of junior high school students. Because t arithmetic 16,628> t table 1,833 on the significant level α = 0,05, then Ha “accepted”. Based on the findings of the research, for the next researcher, with the findings of reality counseling implementation to overcome the level of anxiety to express the opinion of the students, should be an inspiration in doing further research by applying counseling with other therapies, especially in an effort to overcome the anxiety level express opinion to the students.

Based on the results of interviews with teachers mentors about the problems that often occur in students in SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru in obtaining information that: The lack of mutual understanding of students. This includes a lack of trust between students, lack of openness from students to teachers and sometimes also among fellow students so that often miscommunication among students who became one of the triggers of contention. Students are less able to express their opinions both to teachers and friends. Subjects in this study were students Class IX.1 SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru Lesson Year 2014-2015 with the number of students as many as 37 people. The form of research is action research counseling guidance services. The instrument of this research is data in the form of observation sheet of teacher activity and Student Self Confidence in Opinion Opinion. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion as presented in chapter IV can be concluded that with the Group Guidance Services can improve Student Confidence in Student Expose Class IX.1 SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru. Before the action shows Student Confidence in Student Opinion is still classified as "Less" with a score of 44.9 is at the interval of 30-49. In cycle I shows that Student Confidence in Student Opinion is still classified as "Medium" with the value of 60.0 is in the interval 50 - 69. While in the second cycle increased to 83.8 with the category "Good" is at the interval 70-89.

This research attempts to identify the effectiveness of grouping based on listening strategies in big class. The data were collected from fourth semester students in the form of opinions. The data were analyzed by questionnaire in order to find out the effectiveness of making group based on listening strategies. The questionnaire has three sections, the first section asks about students’ opinion about listening class and making group in listening class, the second part about the effectiveness of making group in class and the last is about students’ opinion how to build effectiveness in listening class. The results presented in first section of questionnaire that the students like listening class and making group but the number is only slightly bigger than dislike. The second parts, the students’ respond that they satisfy enough in making group in listening class. The last section, the questionnaire investigates student’s opinion about how to build the effectiveness in listening class. The highest answer is building knowledge and work collaboratively. Based on the students’ answer it is reflected that they tend to prefer work in group for achieving the effectiveness in teaching big class.

The rapid expansion of e-learning platforms, where students can share their opinions and express their thoughts, has become a rich source of data for opinion mining and sentiment analysis. This study aims to develop an effective model for predicting students' attitudes about e-learning, with a focus on mining opinions that indicate positive or negative sentiments. The study was implemented in two stages. The first stage aimed to discover the most popular platform used in e-learning at the University of Mosul to collect the largest amount of data through comments posted within the platforms, also to identify trends in students' opinions towards e-learning. The results show that the focus of both lecturers and students revolved around well-known platforms such as Google Classroom and Google Meet, both of which had relative importance (45.33% and 42.29%, respectively). The second stage uses a machine-learning algorithm on the data collected to determine the impact of e-learning on students. Also, two feature selection approaches, Information Gain IG and CHI statistics, were explored and enhanced in addition to HMM and SVM-based hybrid learning strategy. As a result, an opinion mining method was used to assist developers in improving and promoting the quality of relevant services.

<span>An automatic system to analyze the opinions/feedbacks of the people working in any organization is proposed. The proposed system does two major jobs: the first part extracts the most relevant/important aspects from the textual feedbacks provided by clients/managers/co-workers for all the employees having similar job profile and the second part measures the degree of positivity or negativity for all the extracted aspects for every employee and then an overall performance of everyone is evaluated. We have implemented the system to study the feedback of teachers. The proposed system is flexible and versatile than the existing feedback evaluation system of teachers where students evaluate the teachers on the predefined aspects decided by experienced and senior teachers. Our system, Faculty Evaluation System (FES) identifies strengths and weaknesses of teachers on all aspects which are important to students. This information may be used by higher authorities of the institute in identifying suitable faculty members for different academic and administrative activities of the institute in addition to the teaching responsibility.</span>

Objective. To determine the level of knowledge, opinions, and preventive practices followed by dental students against Hepatitis B. The study also explored if any correlation existed between knowledge, opinion, and preventive practices score.Materials and Methods. A cross-sectional study was conducted in a dental teaching institution. The subjects comprised 216 dental students. The study was conducted using a pretested, self-administered questionnaire. The questionnaire was prepared to assess knowledge, opinion, and preventive practices against Hepatitis B. Kruskal-Wallis and Kendall Tau test were performed.Results. The study found that only 44.4% of the students were vaccinated with Hepatitis B vaccine. 59.3% of the students reported washing their hands after contact with patient’s body fluids. 63.9% used personal protective measures like facemask, aprons, head cap, eye shields, and so forth, while treating patients. Median knowledge, opinion, and practice scores were found to be 5.00, 3.00, and 3.00, respectively. Significant correlation was obtained between knowledge and preventive practices score (r=0.385,pvalue<0.0001).Conclusion. Effective measures need to be taken to improve preventive practices of the students to prevent them from risk of Hepatitis transmission. Mandatory vaccination against Hepatitis B needs to be implemented.

The main purpose of this study is to answer the following question. Is there any influence of junior high school student’s opinion on the importance of the National Examination against the 2018 National Examination results because currently the National Examination is no longer a determinant of graduation? The population of this study was junior high school students participated in the National Examination in 2018. The data in this study were in the form of test scores and students’ answers to questionnaires in 34 provinces throughout Indonesia. Filling out questionnaires was carried out voluntarily on the last day of the National Examination, so the number of respondents filling out the questionnaire was 3.224.331 from 37.859 junior high school students. The number of respondents is the sample in this study. Based on the results of the t-test analysis obtained as follows. The influence of student opinions stating that the UN is important and not important to the 2018 UN results even though the UN is not a determinant of graduation is proven. This means that there is a significant influence (P <0,000) of the student's opinions towards the 2018 National Examination results for subjects: Indonesian, English, Mathematics, and Science, (Sig. 0,000). Most of the SMP / MTs students amount to 199.222 (90.7%) stated that the National Examination was important, while students who stated that the UN was not important were 20.340 (9.3%) students. The conclusion is that there is an influence of the junior high school students’ opinion about the importance of the National Examination towards the 2018 UN results even though the National Examination is not a determinant of graduation.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the impact of augmented reality (AG) and the flipped learning model on the attitude of 4th-grade students towards the science and technology course and to determine the opinion of students concerning videos presented through AG. Another objective of the study is to determine parents' opinions concerning AG and FL in science and technology courses. A pre-test / post-test quasi-experimental design was used with the control group to obtain quantitative data. Qualitative data were also included in the analysis to support quantitative data obtained from a case study pattern. In the study, the Science and Technology Attitude Scale was used to measure students' attitudes. The Opinion Scale for Experimental Videos was used to evaluate video usage opinions in science and technology courses. Besides, parents' opinions concerning AG applications and the FL model were collected through the researchers' interview form. Independent sample t-test and ANCOVA tests were conducted to interpret the quantitative data of the study. Qualitative data were evaluated with the content analysis method. The results showed that the AR and FL model's application provides students with a positive attitude towards science and technology; it also helped them solve problems. Besides, families have also expressed positive opinions about AR and FL applications.

In the era of mobile Internet, college students increasingly tend to express their opinions and views through online social media; furthermore, social media influence the value judgments of college students. Therefore, it is vital to understand and analyze university online public opinion over time. In this paper, we propose a data-driven architecture for analysis of university online public opinion. Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, Zhihu and Toutiao apps are selected as sources for collection of public opinion data. Crawler technology is utilized to automatically obtain user data about target topics to form a database. To avoid the drawbacks of traditional methods, such as sentiment lexicon and machine learning, which rely on a priori knowledge and complex handcrafted features, the Word2Vec tool is used to perform word embedding, the LSTM-CFR model is proposed to realize Chinese word segmentation and a convolutional neural network (CNN) is built to automatically extract implicit features in word vectors, ultimately establishing the nonlinear relationships between implicit features and the sentiment tendency of university public opinion. The experimental results show that the proposed model is more accurate than SVM, RF, NBC and GMM methods, providing valuable information with respect to public opinion management.

In the article results of sociological research of quality of tolerance and features of tolerant attitudes in the student's environment are resulted. The survey was conducted in the form of a questionnaire survey of students at the Baikal State University. General views of the student youth about tolerance and intolerance, their essential expression were considered. The main types of tolerance are revealed depending on ethnic, psychophysical, demographic and other social characteristics. The estimation of tolerance among students in small social groups is given. The reasons and methods for resolving disagreements and conflicts manifested on the basis of intolerant behavior and relationships were studied. The students' opinion on the level of tolerance in modern society among representatives of different national groups, social strata, different faiths, political opinions, etc. is considered. Particular attention is paid to the manifestation of tolerance towards people with disabilities and limited health opportunities. The reasons for intolerance in relations between different social groups are indicated. The degree of influence on the tolerance of various factors (health, religion, nationality, status, etc.) has been revealed. The students' opinion on the necessity of manifestation (observance) of tolerant attitude to the representatives of certain social groups, in particular, to the disabled, ethnic and religious communities, the low-income and others is considered.

Q-methodology was used to identify clusters of opinions about e-books at Miami University. The research identified four distinct opinion types among those investigated: Book Lovers, Technophiles, Pragmatists, and Printers. The initial Q-methodology study results were then used as a basis for a large-n survey of undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty so that we could have a more complete picture of the demographic and social makeup of the campus population. Results from that survey indicate that academic discipline is strongly associated with the respondents’ opinion types. Gender and educational status are also associated with respondents’ opinion types.

The paper reviews research carried out between 2009 and 2010. The research was aimed at revealing the following: 1) opinions of primary mainstream school students on the subject World Study and educational environment; 2) opinions of primary school teachers on preparation for classes in the subject World Study and difficulties in organising the process of teaching and learning in the classroom with SEN students. 370 primary school students and 62 primary mainstream school teachers participated in the research. The research was carried out by means of a questionnaire. Primary school students said that they rather liked the subject World Study than disliked it. Students with a greater degree of SEN have a lower interest in the surrounding world. Most students, those with SEN among them, evaluated their studies of the subject positively, while a small part of the students, those with SEN among them, expressed a negative opinion about their work. Activities most preferred by the students during the classes are discussions, experiments, group work, and games; however, students with SEN less often participate in even their favourable activities. It was established that half of the teachers who participated in the research expressed an opinion that they experienced difficulties in preparing for the classes on World Study for the inclusive classrooms; these are difficulties in choosing teaching aids and methods, preparing tasks for independent work. The process of education in inclusive classrooms, in teachers’ opinion, poses difficulties which are more connected with coordination of education of different ability students, providing individual support, attentiveness to the child and stimulation of motivation. It is more difficult to be attentive to every child when the number of students with SEN is greater. The process of teaching the subject is also made more difficult by the fact that students with SEN are rarely active and cannot work independently. The categories of conflict, independence, dialogue, and integration have been used to organize the wealth of opinion on the relationship of science and religion (Barbour, 1997). This approach is especially useful in college or high school science courses, or special seminars, because it allows the instructor to locate his or her own opinion, and challenge students to determine their own beliefs. This effectively lays most opinions “on the table” for display in a free market of ideas. Using this approach, students can examine the strengths and shortcomings of major opinions, and it has the advantage of preserving the dignity of all religious views that reside in the science classroom, without compromising any science. The wealth and depth of new ideas that have been forthcoming from both science and theology offer the exciting promise of future wisdom that can serve both religion and science.

Paper presents a socio-psychological study of knowledge and attitudes towards different constitutional and legal solutions concerning human rights, among law students. Hundred law students from University of Novi Sad and University of Belgrade were examined. Results show low level of knowledge of the Yugoslavian Constitution, especially the articles concerning human rights. Also, law students show extremely high authoritarian attitudes and values.
