Texte intégralThe purpose of this study is to define the guidelines for landscape re-qualification of farms. In particular the study is addressed to recovery the farmyards and modern rural buildings and it is focused on the research of technical and economic solutions, specific for multi-function farms. With reference to an area in the province of Bologna (Emilia Romagna region), the study has defined some possible solutions of re-qualification to be carried out cheaply, by means of instruments and know-how available in the farms themselves. Case studies (divided on a geographical basis) have been defined after the identification of the specific characteristics and the materials utilized. Also the identification of a method to define the rural buildings and the analysis of the standard references has been carried out to analyze the case studies. The analysis methodology identified has aimed to determine the construction types, the materials used and the requirements of the farms. This methodology is referred to the identification of the different building typologies, to the functional definition of open spaces and built areas and to the identification of the paths utilized by users. The identification of the critical aspects of the architectural characters, both in the rural buildings and in the farmyards, has allowed the recognition of the intervention areas to plan the solutions of functional and landscape re-qualification. These intervention areas have been defined through the study of possible shielding solutions or architectonic improvement of rural modern farm buildings, and the re-qualification of paths and vegetation elements of the farmyard.
