Résumé :
Purpose – This paper aims to put forward a group multicriteria supplier selection model to select suppliers adequate to companies needs in food industries. Selecting the right suppliers has become a strategic problem for firms. This decision should take into account several factors, which involve both quantitative and qualitative considerations and, usually, includes many interested parties. Design/methodology/approach – The proposed model consists of two phases. Initially,a survey of food industries in Brazil was carried out so as to identify the factors that should be considered in the supplier selection decision process. In the second step,a selection model was developed, based on these findings and the factors identified, and an application of the model was conducted. Findings – This model uses criteria that are important for the food industries in Brazil and, considering this criteria, helps companies to select the adequate suppliers to their needs. Additionally, the model considers the preferences of the managers who actively participate in the process. Originality/value – The model helps the company in the selection of suppliers,as it is very important for the corporation to have partnerships with suppliers who can adequately meet its needs. Additionally,a group method was applied, which allows all the managers that will be affected by this decision to participate.

Résumé :
Companies’ IT Systems are confronted with constantly changing market conditions, new competitive threats and a growing number of legal regulations. The service-oriented architecture (SOA) paradigm provides a promising way to address these challenges at the level of a company’s IT infrastructure. These challenges, as well as the management of the newly introduced complexity and heterogeneity, are targeted by SOA Governance approaches. In recent years, a number of concrete frameworks for SOA Governance addressing these issues have been proposed. There is no holistic approach considering all proposed elements, consolidating them in order to form a universally applicable model. In this contribution, we motivate SOA Governance, investigate and compare different approaches, identify common concepts, and derive a generic model for governance of Service-oriented Architectures.

Résumé :

Structuring local government organizations system is important in the regional autonomy implementation, as it is one of the many instruments of decentralization principles. Structuring local organizations, as part of bureaucratic reform, aimed to create a government system that is efficient, effective and flexible. The flexibility in this case is based on the regional organization characteristics of the area, population and number of regional budget. In this regard, there is inconsistency in Surabaya City Government’s organization structuring, that is overly focused on the institutional issues, rigid standardization but does not consider other dimensions such as: human resources, system of governance, and the basic values of the organization. Based on this phenomenon a study is needed to formulate a model structuring for Surabaya City Government. To do so, researchers conducted a study in the following stages: (1) based on the criteria of the subject, the researchers chose one subject of the research; (2) based on the prior studies, researcher developed a research instrument consisting of local government assessment instruments - i.e. human resources, authorities, organization size, public service performance - in solving the Surabaya City Government’s structuring problem; (3) interviews were conducted based on the organization’s authorities; and (4) the data obtained is then described and analyzed using qualitative analysis method to obtain to develop a model for solving organizational structuring problem in Surabaya City Government.

Keywords: Organisation Restructuring, Organisation Restructuring Model, Governance.

Résumé :
We show that the model of quantum computation based on density matrices and superoperators can be decomposed into a pure classical (functional) part and an effectful part modelling probabilities and measurement. The effectful part can be modelled using a generalisation of monads called arrows. We express the resulting executable model of quantum computing in the Haskell programming language using its special syntax for arrow computations. However, the embedding in Haskell is not perfect: a faithful model of quantum computing requires type capabilities that are not directly expressible in Haskell.

Résumé :
The aim of the study. In modern conditions of changing the global “educational landscape”, the leading trend in building a new educational process management system is the personalization of the educational process in the electronic environment. New pedagogical technologies and innovative forms of organizing personalized learning in the electronic environment are developing, one of which is adaptive learning. The development of the structure and content of adaptive e-learning courses, the design and implementation of an educational strategy, teaching methods, and approaches to assessing results is determined by the model of its subject domain - the model of learning content. The aim of the study is to develop an approach to constructing the learning content model of an adaptive e-learning course that provides a formalized presentation of the educational material of the discipline and the construction of a logically based strategy for its study. Materials and methods. Methodological basis of research methods make up the logical-epistemological analysis and graph theory, and comparative analysis of psychological and pedagogical, scientific and methodical works, analysis of regulatory documents on research issues, professional and federal educational standards of higher education. Results. A feature of the author's approach is structuring of the subject domain in the form of a sequence of terms (training objects) of the learning content, studied in a certain order and presented in several versions of the presentation. The presented model for constructing the learning content of the academic discipline differs from the wellknown ones by the presence of logical ordering of concepts based on the integration of logic methods of concept analysis, using logical and epistemological methods for correlating the volume and content of concepts with the methods of graph theory and hypergraphs. The definition of educational objects of a tree (hypergraphic tree) of terms is obtained on the basis of a concept tree of discipline with a further determination of the sequence of their study, as well as the inclusion of a phenomenological and structural model in the content of the educational object, which allows to identify and disclose the essence of each studied concept within the framework of the subject domain of discipline. Conclusion. The proposed approach has been tested in the educational process of the program 09.03.02 – “Information systems and technologies” at the Siberian Federal University. Analysis of observations and evaluating the effectiveness of adaptive e-learning course in the educational process was carried out using the Kruskal-Wallis test by ranks. As a result of the experiment, it was revealed that at the end of the experiment, the control and experimental groups were statistically significantly different, which allowed us to conclude that the adaptive e-learning course developed in the educational process was effective. Adaptive e-learning courses, which are based on the approach proposed by the authors, made it possible to present educational content in the form of logically integral micro portions, which allow the adaptation of the educational environment to the individual characteristics of students. In the future, the proposed approach can contribute to development of personalized adaptive learning university ecosystems under digitalization formation.

Résumé :
Organizations adopt specific decision-making models that do not consider the intrinsic strategic aspects of the process, such as culture, target audience, decision-makers, organizational environment, and strategic goals. This article aims to present a group decision model that links the structuring of the problem to strategic organizational goals to work with the uncertainties of the process, helping decision-makers search for information and direct decision-making, allowing actors a broad and systemic vision linked to organizational goals. This model was developed for application in credit analysis and granting in financial organizations. The study is proven by the possibility of applying organizational strategy to the decision process using a problem-structuring model and the multi-criteria decision model. The model ensures that the paths reflect the corporate reality, and the vision regarding decision problems adopted serves the process, classifying the decision into answers representing the decision-maker's perception following the strategic aspects.

Résumé :
Abstract: This work examines how the narrative tradition of the Siona Indians regiments the illness experience into a structure of relevance and consequentiality as well as how it provides a model for the generation of persona/narratives. A text that can be considered a prototypical model of an illness narrative is examined. This narrative, as others of its kind, furnishes a model for interpretation and action in ongoing illness situations that defy routine and commonly known therapies. This is done in two ways. One is through narrative structure that establishes a set of certain questions and expectations as to the consequentiality of events: how they evolve, the nature of motives behind misfortunes, and strategies for resolution. The second is through provision of codes or signs that aid in the interpretation of hidden events. In this sense, the illness narratives are not predictive, but indicate what is relevant for interpreting illness and organizing a plan of action.

Résumé :
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to identify the principal success factors of a software project structured upon the basis of the viable system model (VSM). Design/methodology/approach To do so, an exploratory empirical analysis is conducted of a set of software projects, in which the degree of compliance with the requirements set down by the VSM and the success rating of their development are identified. Findings The results of the study indicate that the most influential factors in achieving global viability in a software project are the local environment, the organizational units and the intelligent system. Building on those factors, a mathematical prediction model is developed, reaching an accuracy of 63.16 percent in its predictions. Research limitations/implications The authors wish to point out that due to the number of projects employed in the statistical analysis, the results have to be interpreted with caution and are of an exploratory nature. Practical implications The authors seek to show that the VSM is an extremely useful tool for the management of software projects and, by extension, projects of a general nature. The authors therefore suggest that knowledge of VSM would be of incalculable value for managers wishing to manage projects successfully and to survive in such a complex and rapidly changing environment as the software project environment is. Its application allows us to diagnose and to detect the critical factors to achieve such success. Social implications In addition, the research seeks to increase the universality of VSM, contributing to a better understanding of it and a better and greater formalization of it in favor of its acceptance and its practical use, seeking in this way to palliate some critical principals related to its abstraction and limited applicability and to increase its rigor and validity as an instrument for the diagnosis and the design of viable organizations. Originality/value The novelty of this study is therefore principally found in the application of the VSM to the organizational structure of a software project in such a way that it allows us to detect key factors in its success. Besides, building on the validation of this proposal through the completion of a quantitative empirical analysis, this study also offers a prediction mathematical model that relates key factors with the success of the project.

Résumé :
A systemic analysis of the life cycle of products from elastomeric materials was carried out. The main modules of a management system for managing the life cycle - development, production and distribution of products from elastomeric composites on the basis of the integrated information system are described. The main control points of the process control are indicated. A detailed description of complex chemical-technological processes of multicomponent elastomeric composites structuring from the positions of a system approach based on a complex of information and production models is proposed. The model of an automated control system for the chemicaltechnological processes of elastomeric composites structuring based on vibration-rheometric data is considered, which is an example of the use of a control system based on indirect indicators. It is shown that the disturbing effects leading to the deviation of the process indices from the given ones are of a prescription and technological nature. The architecture of the integrated information management system for complex chemical-technological processes of multicomponent elastomeric composites mixing and structuring based on the production rules system is proposed. A block diagram of the algorithm for processing the main rheometric information of elastomeric composites structuring is given.

Résumé :
Problem, being a driving force in Problem Based Learning is proved to be an effective classroom strategy to develop problem solving and cognitive capabilities. A curriculum focused with knowledge structuring and construction can help students develop the required 21st century skills. In this paper we propose a model and process to re-design and deliver the syllabus to effectively integrate the problem based learning with active learning strategies. With a methodical approach of beginning from the pre-requisites to using contextual cues to structure the knowledge, the process uses the problems in knowledge construction. The model proposes the possible ways to restructure the syllabus in support to the proposed method. The paper further presents a case study of applying the model on a computer science course, its design and deliberations. The paper presents the results and analysis along with scores and time required for revision as compared to classes where the proposed methodology was not followed. The assessment scores and feedback are presented to validate the model. The model promises to be an effective strategy to think like a problem solver and be a self-directed learner with analysis carried out using qualitative and quantitative methods. Résumé :
Recently the extensive growth of the vehicles number in large cities have been observed, which leads to the road network overload. The purpose of current article is to demonstrate the method of mathematical model creation for environmental monitoring at the crossroads. This mathematical model can be used in intelligent transport systems (ITS). The basic parameters for the mathematical model are selected basing on the knowledge structuring in the field of the road network (RN) environmental monitoring. Knowledge structuring about environmental contamination simplifies and demonstrates the choice of the mathematical model basic parameters for RN environmental monitoring. The mathematical model can be implemented by using the cellular automata (CA) theory. The method of creating the RN ecological condition modeling module, which can be used in ITS, is shown on the particular example. The knowledge structuring method in the field of RN state environmental monitoring and its implementation with help of the CA theory are suggested.
