Résumé :
The first part of this work have been analyzed the notion of the socialization as well as different interpretation of it given by numerous theoreticians. The central part of the work has been dedicated to resources of the socialization: family, same age friends, educational institutions, religion, culture, media and political systems with its own ideology and politics. The final part of work have been tried to show, how one-side socialization (without personal components) causes massive culture and "massive" of the society. It's suitable "field" for totalitarian regimes, which always try to turn citizens into "slaves" by depriving their natural and acquired rights, which have been fought during history.

Résumé :
Street teams are grassroots efforts built from the ground up by people who have a vested interest in promoting a band or event. They are also made up of people who are passionate about what they do. This study investigated the socialization process of street team members from the investigation stage to obtaining full membership. It also identified the outcomes of socialization. In this study, 15 street team members were interviewed and observations were made at concerts and street team events over an 11-month period. Results indicated that although there are similarities in the socialization process among street team members, they actually belong to three different types of street teams.

Résumé :
The role of social influences concerning gambling behavior was empirically examined. Children (N = 130) in grades 4 and 6 completed several questionnaires concerning their gambling behavior, risk taking, and locus of control and played a computer-simulated roulette game individually and in groups (same and mixed gender dyads or triads). Results reveal that during individual and group play, males consistently exhibit riskier behavior (higher average wagers) than females and mixed gender groups. However, average wagers of females and mixed gender groupings appear to be most affected by the group condition. All changes resulting from the group condition were generally maintained over a relatively short period of time in the post-test condition. No major developmental changes were noted nor was locus of control found to be a significant mediating factor. The results are interpreted with respect to the importance of the influence of the peer group on children's gambling behavior. Future directions for research are suggested.

This doctoral thesis entitled Senior citizens, communication technology and socialization originates from the interest of the nowadays changes occurring by the process of human aging. In Brazil it started about 50 years ago, but in contrast with developed countries, these changes occurred in such a high speed that it was difficult to implement public policies, as well as their recognition and the social adjustment of the entire population. The growing of seniors segment and the decrease in birthrate changed the population structure and naturally modified their social interactions. Concurrently to this, the evolution of digital technology has impacted the daily lives of people with continuous innovations and changes in communication interfaces. If communication in postmodern times occurs largely through technological objects (mobile phones, smartphones, desktops, notebooks, tablets, etc.) and digital media (software, applications, websites, social networks, etc.), all population ages must interact with these technologies in order to participate in social and information exchanges within their social environment. Human aging has some characteristics that lead to natural losses such as physical, cognitive and social ones. The elderly social network decrease, the difficulties of its renewal and the adaptation to social environment changes are some of consequences of losses. Thus it was believed that there was a difficulty in the elderly follow the technological evolution of communication objects in order to interfere with maintaining and increasing their social relationships. This research aimed to survey the use of technological communication objects by the segment of the elderly and answer whether this use has something to do with their socialization. For this, a literature review on the Brazilian population aging, the relationship of the elderly with technological objects, and the concepts related to the postmodern socialization were raised and analyzed; also semi-structured interviews with the elderly was conducted, in order to obtain a qualitative understanding of the target audience about the use of communication technologies, and a questionnaire online was applied to quantify this use. These techniques were used to identify the frequency of use of technological objects and communication media, to verify the activities undertaken and the social groups associated to them and to compare the behavior of the three groups of elderly (60-69, 70-79 and above 80) with the younger group. The results showed a direct relationship between the use of technology and the way of socialization held today and it was noticed behavioral differences between the age groups of older people and a close proximity of group of 60-69 years with the younger group. This work contributes to a deeper understanding of the behavioral profile of the Brazilian elderly that, unlike the common sense, does not only characterize the picture of losses and hopelessness that is often portrayed. Today the elderly are healthier, more engaged, more productive and seek to be inserted not only among the older people, but in all social groups.

Résumé :

The International Baccalaureate (IB) program is an ambitious and challenging academic high school program. However, the IB program is not without its difficulties and shortcomings. Many IB students appear to sense various levels of social dissonance from the general student population. The purpose of this qualitative study was to investigate why nonacademic socialization is a significant problem between high school IB students and AP/traditional students. IB student/graduates and former/retired IB faculty members were used exclusively for this qualitative study. The focus of this qualitative study required analyzing the IB student nonacademic socialization lived experience. This qualitative study used a grounded theoretical methodology that included open-ended interviews. All interviews conducted were face-to-face, phone, or with the use of Skype technology. The coding analysis resulted in the emergence of four themes and sixteen subthemes. The four emergent themes generated a theoretical model that supported the central research question and two secondary research questions.

Résumé :
The study is devoted to topical issues of business socialization. Social, economic and environmental aspects of business activity are analyzed. In order to generalize information, a number of key factors that have a direct impact on business socialization were determined. It is important to note that the war that started in February 2022 has an important influence on the evolution of social responsibility in the business environment in Ukraine. However, the main role in increasing the costs of social responsibility was played by the civic activity of both owners and employees of enterprises. Support from the state, as well as active support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and its own personnel, has become a fundamental task for Ukrainian companies in this difficult period

Résumé :
The aging society faced by many countries, can have a significant impact on employment, savings, consumption, economic growth, and fiscal balance. It is promising to consider the problems of an aging society through the prism of the effective economic socialization of the older generation, which allows ones to extend the working capacity, health and well-being of pensioners. Late economic socialization is understood as a process and result of a person's re-interpretation of the economic reality, acknowledged by changes in economic mind and behavior at the retirement as a new social status (Chestyunina & Zabelina, 2019). Factors that affect the effectiveness of the late economic socialization have not been sufficiently studied. This study seeks to fill this gap by the qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews with pensioners living in different parts of the country (in the capital and in the industrial city). 12 respondents were interviewed in Moscow and 9 respondents in Chelyabinsk. Thematic analysis was used to systematize and analyze data. Despite the difference in living standards in the capital and the region, most pensioners in both groups are satisfied with their income level. An analysis of the distribution of daily financial spending and savings goals suggests that pensioners in the capital have a wider range of life needs and opportunities than in the region. Similarities in purchasing behavior among pensioners in the center of the country and on the periphery, as well as a relatively low level of consumer activity were found. A different attitude to loans was recorded among the respondents in different parts of the country. If in the region almost 100% of the respondents view loans sharply negatively, then in Moscow there are only half of such pensioners, the rest perceive the loan as normal fact and support it as an opportunity to purchase expensive goods. Plans for the future of Moscow pensioners are more diverse and include ambitious economic goals: to get an apartment in turn, to exchange an apartment, to close a mortgage. Only a small part of the respondents in Chelyabinsk (22%) set economic goals in the future, and they are associated with the continuation of employment. In addition, some of the opinions about the future in this group are very pessimistic. Pensioners in Moscow put money at a lower place in the value system than respondents in the region, which indicates a greater satisfaction with the material needs of pensioners in the capital. Representations about an ideal life in retirement are concentrated on issues of financial independence among Moscow respondents. For the pensioners in the region, besides wealth, health and a sense of stability play an important role. The criteria for an economically successful person are more blurred and uncertain in the group of the pensioners in the capital. The results indicate a regional specificity of the late economic socialization. The prospects for investigating the identified differences in the quantitative study are discussed.
