Résumé :

This study focuses on the mathematical SER model capturing the rate of Ammotere Abbaji Case Behavior among individuals associated with Silariang. Primary data is gathered through questionnaires administered directly to the community in South Sulawesi Province, shedding light on the pace of Ammotere Abbaji Case Behavior among those involved with Silariang. The research journey starts with the construction of the SER model, followed by an analysis and simulation of the Ammotere Abbaji Case Behavior among Silariang participants. This encompasses identifying equilibrium points, evaluating model stability, computing the basic reproduction number (R0), conducting model simulations using Maple software, and interpreting the simulation results. Within this article, the mathematical SER model emerges through the analytical lens and simulation of Ammotere Abbaji Case Behavior among Silariang participants. Two equilibrium points are discovered: the free equilibrium point of Ammotere Abbaji Case Behavior among Silariang participants, and the equilibrium point specific to this behavior. The calculated basic reproduction number R0=0.045 indicates a decrease in the population engaged in Ammotere Abbaji Case Behavior among Silariang participants.

Résumé :

O presente artigo tem como objetivo articular a contribuição da vivência plena das diferenças, em suas intersecções, com a promoção do senso de pertencimento às organizações e da integralidade das existências. A pesquisa se baseia em referenciais que congreguem os conceitos de pertencimento, plenitude e integralidade com as categorias de diferenças e diversidades. O desenvolvimento é orientado pelo método cartográfico, tendo-se realizado entrevistas semiestruturadas com pessoas pertencentes a algum grupo minorizado e que estejam atuantes em alguma organização. Os resultados mostram que, por mais que existam ações para a inclusão das diversidades nas organizações, as pessoas não se sentem pertencentes aos espaços, haja vista o fato de não serem percebidas em suas interseccionalidades. Outro fato evidenciado se liga ao fenômeno da “superinclusão”, prática universalista que busca afirmar que todas as pessoas são iguais, gerando um apagamento das diferenças.

Résumé :

Simulation-based learning gains space in health education curricula with the use of simulated patients, providing students with skills development in a protected teaching-learning environment. The contact with a simulated situation stimulatesclinical skills training before the contact with real patients. The objective is to identify how the experience of being a simulated patient influences the academic formation of healthcare students. The method was exploratorydescriptive, with a quantitative approach, developed through cross-sectional research with a Likert scale questionnaire, applied through an online survey. This study evidenced that health students who participated in clinical simulations as Simulated Patients perceived benefits for their development as future professionals. Interpreting a clinical case arising from reality makes this learning more meaningful compared to a class with a traditional teaching method on the same subject

O artigo visa apresentar a inter-relação possível entre o mandato cultural e o papel do sujeito ecológico. O mandato cultural é considerado um dos princípios fundamentais do sistema de crenças teísta. Ele objetiva que o ser humano atue como o seu promotor a partir da ótica da mordomia, visto que sua diretriz envolve uma ordem específica, a saber: a responsabilidade e o cuidado na preservação e conservação da criação. Neste sentido, busca-se responder a seguinte questão: se o ser humano compreende o mandato cultural como sua missão principal, por que é preciso legislar sobre sua responsabilidade com relação ao cuidado com a criação? Reconhece-se que a desordem e o caos produzidos ao meio ambiente podem ser considerados como uma distorção da missão confiada ao ser humano, por isso que ele se torna responsável direta e indiretamente por sua degradação, o que interfere no processo de preservação e conservação para as futuras gerações. Diante disso, a pesquisa parte de uma revisão bibliográfica de natureza descritiva por meio de aportes teóricos selecionados. A finalidade é contributiva, no sentido de constituir-se como mais um instrumento de alerta e conscientização. Afinal, a responsabilidade do sujeito ecológico, que envolve o olhar e o fazer diante do cuidado e do desenvolvimento sustentável, é sinal legítimo da voz profética a ser exercida.

Knowing the role of MC1R in skin tanning can provide a brand new idea to resolve pigmentary disorders.αMSH has 13 amino acids and is the most essential pigmentary melanocortin responsible for melanin synthesis. One could utilize the compound library to find lead compounds by virtual screening from peptide database and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) database@Taiwan. Computational simulation provided a convenient technology to survey potential lead. Ligand-based validation set up the reliable model for molecular dynamics simulation. Molecular dynamics simulation approved the binding affinity and stability of the peptides selected by virtual screening. Thus, we concluded that Glu-Glu-Lys-Glu (EEKE), Glu-Gly-Gly-Ser-Val-Glu-Ser (EGGSVES), and Glu-Glu-Asp-Cys-Lys (EEDCK) were potent lead peptides for MC1R to resolve pigmentary disorders.

Este artigo tem como objetivo entender a utilização da tecnologia na educação. Uma das questões que devem ser abordadas para o uso da tecnologia na educação é desenvolver as competências e habilidades dos alunos para viver no século XXI. O conceito amplo de competência refere-se à combinação de conhecimentos, habilidades e atitudes que são apropriadas para um determinado ambiente. Perrenoud (2009) afirma que a competência pode ser transformada na capacidade de agir efetivamente em um determinado tipo de situação, apoiando, mas não se limitando ao conhecimento. Esse conceito é mais amplo do que o conceito de competência e se caracteriza por adquirir a capacidade de uma pessoa desempenhar um determinado papel ou função e ser capaz de atingir objetivos. As competências nesta área incluem determinação, responsabilidade, integridade e cidadania, e podem ser definidas em três domínios: cognitivo, introspectivo e interpessoal. Saber passar informação, comunicar e ter empatia são algumas das competências. Ao Entender a evolução da tecnologia e os processos de ensino e aprendizagem é possível estabelecer aquisição de conhecimento a novas relações por meio do acesso móvel às redes de informação e comunicação. Este trabalho será desenvolvido utilizando-se como material de pesquisa e-books da Must University, utilizando palavras-chave na busca: “Tecnologia”, “Processo Ensino Aprendizagem”. Se propone un modelo amatemático para la simulación de hornos de refinería. Consta de dos submodelos diferentes, uno para el lado del proceso y otro para el lado de los gases de combustión. El lado del proceso se modela adecuadamente como un flujo de tapón debido a la alta velocidad del fluido dentro de los tubos. El lado de los gases de combustión está compuesto por una cámara radiativa y una sección convectiva, ambas conectadas por una zona de tubo de escudo. Ambos modelos están conectados por la temperatura de la superficie del tubo. Como el modelo del lado de los gases de combustión utiliza esta temperatura como datos de entrada, el modelo del lado del proceso recalcula esta temperatura. El procedimiento se ejecuta hasta que se alcanza cierta tolerancia. Este modelo matemático ha demostrado ser una herramienta útil para el análisis y la simulación de hornos.

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) simulation is a vital tool for planning SAR missions, interpreting SAR images, and extracting valuable information. SAR imaging is essential for analyzing sea scenes, and the accuracy of sea surface and scattering models is crucial for effective SAR simulations. Traditional methods typically employ empirical formulas to fit sea surface scattering, which are not closely aligned with the principles of electromagnetic scattering. This paper introduces a novel approach by constructing multiple sea surface models based on the Pierson–Moskowitz (P-M) sea spectrum, integrated with the stereo wave observation projection (SWOP) expansion function to thoroughly account for the influence of wave fluctuation characteristics on radar scattering. Utilizing the shooting and bouncing ray-physical optics (SBR-PO) method, which adheres to the principles of electromagnetic scattering, this study not only analyzes sea surface scattering characteristics under various sea conditions but also facilitates the computation of scattering coupling between multiple targets. By constructing detailed scattering distribution data, the method achieves high-precision SAR simulation results. The scattering model developed using the SBR-PO method provides a more nuanced description of sea surface scenes compared to traditional methods, achieving an optimal balance between efficiency and accuracy, thus significantly enhancing sea surface SAR imaging simulations.

O objetivo do estudo foi analisar a tendência temporal e fatores associados à participação nas aulas de educação física de estudantes de Pernambuco. Estudo de tendência temporal composto por três levantamentos de abrangência estadual. Foram entrevistados 4.207 estudantes em 2006, 6.264 em 2011 e 6.002 em 2016, por meio do questionário “Global School-based Student Health Survey” (GSHS). O desfecho foi a participação nas aulas de Educação Física e as exposições foram as informações sociodemográficas. A análise bivariada foi realizada mediante teste Qui-quadrado e as análises multivariadas por regressão logística binária. Observou-se um aumento na prevalência de participação nas aulas de Educação Física (2006: 35%, 2011: 74% e 2016: 81,2%) destacando o aumento significativo no sexo masculino Δ% (2006-2016) = 123,5%. Ser do sexo masculino, estudar no período integral e ser filho de mães que estudaram, independente do tempo de estudo foi associado a maior participação nas aulas de educação física, assim como residir nas regiões do Agreste, Sertão e Sertão do São Francisco. Apesar do aumento na participação nas aulas de Educação Física em Pernambuco, a garantia deste componente curricular deve ser fortalecida, levando em consideração os grupos de risco para que aumente a participação nas aulas desses grupos.

Spatial Modulation is a kind of spatial multiplexing schemes conveying information by the location of transmit antennas and spatial modulation (SM) along with OFDM can be applied to visible light communications for higher data rates. The closed form of symbol error rate (SER) in optical SM-OFDM communication system is derived in this paper. SER is a convex function of power allocation coefficients, therefore there exist optimal allocation coefficients minimizing SER. The optimal allocation coefficients are derived for different channels and numbers of transmit antennas. Analytical results are validated by Monte Carlo simulation results and these results show that a significant SER improvement is obtained by using the power allocation. In addition, the optimal allocation coefficients are affected by the channel and number of transmitters.

In this paper investigates the performance, analysis of amplify and forward (AF) cooperative networks with the relay selection over Â Nakagami-m and Rayleigh fading channels and Â M-ary phase shift keying (MPSK) modulations. New closed form expressions are derived for the general cases of Rayleigh and Nakagami-m fading channels. cumulative density function (CDF), probability density function (PDF) of the end â€“to - end signal â€“to â€“ nois ratio (SNR) of a dual-hop opportunistic AF relaying system, moment generating function (MGF), symbol error rate (SER) and outage probability (Pout). and the firstÂ closed-form study for opportunistic AF relaying system where the best node is selected from a number of candidate intermediate nodes to relay the data signal between the source and the destination. Simulation results reveal that the PDF , CDF, Pout and SER performance downgrades either the m parameter or the number of relays increases. Our simulations compared between Rayleigh and Nakagami-m links for a different number of relays. In addition, different modulation techniques are examined to show the effect of the modulation scheme which was used over Rayleigh and Nakagami-m fading channels on the cooperative networks. The obtained results proved the impact of m parameters, relay selection and modulation index on the pout and SER performance.

Résumé :

Protein phosphorylation is a post-translational modification that enables various cellular activities and plays essential roles in protein interactions. Phosphorylation is an important process for the replication of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). To shed more light on the effects of phosphorylation, we used an ensemble of neural networks to predict potential kinases that might phosphorylate SARS-CoV-2 nonstructural proteins (nsps) and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to investigate the effects of phosphorylation on nsps structure, which could be a potential inhibitory target to attenuate viral replication. Eight target candidate sites were found as top-ranked phosphorylation sites of SARS-CoV-2. During the process of molecular dynamics (MD) simulation, the root-mean-square deviation (RMSD) analysis was used to measure conformational changes in each nsps. Root-mean-square fluctuation (RMSF) was employed to measure the fluctuation in each residue of 36 systems considered, allowing us to evaluate the most flexible regions. These analysis shows that there are significant structural deviations in the residues namely nsp1 THR 72, nsp2 THR 73, nsp3 SER 64, nsp4 SER 81, nsp4 SER 455, nsp5 SER284, nsp6 THR 238, and nsp16 SER 132. The identified list of residues suggests how phosphorylation affects SARS-CoV-2 nsps function and stability. This research also suggests that kinase inhibitors could be a possible component for evaluating drug binding studies, which are crucial in therapeutic discovery research.

Résumé :

Relay communication, in which the relay forwards the signal received by a source to a destination, has a massive consideration in research, due to its ability to expand the coverage, increase the capacity, and reduce the power consumption. In this paper, we proposed and investigated energy harvesting (EH) based two-way half-duplex (TWHD) relaying sensors network using selection combining (SC) over block Rayleigh fading channel. In this model, we proposed the direct link between two sources for improving the system performance. For the system performance analysis, we investigated and derived the closed-form of the exact and upper bound Ergodic capacity (EC) and the exact form of the symbol error ratio (SER). By using the Monte Carlo simulation, the correctness of the research results is verified in the influence of the main system parameters. From the discussions, we can see that the analytical and simulation agree well with each other.

Résumé :

Este artigo apresenta uma articulação teórica com o objetivo de construir uma noção do que pode vir a ser uma Ética Sapatão apta a desafiar as normas historicamente estabelecidas em torno de quem pode vir a ser a lésbica e/ou a sapatona, buscando reconhecer a pluralidade de experiências, vivências e (des)identificações dentro das lesbianidades e sapatonices. A partir de uma perspectiva crítica, o estudo destaca a importância de romper com a cisgeneridade como base para a definição dessas (des)identidades. Através do estabelecimento dessa Ética Sapatão, o artigo pretende tensionar o lugar das lesbianidades e sapatonices na construção de outros mundos (im)possíveis. Através de discussões teóricas que abranjam as éticas, em suas dimensões epistemológicas e ontológicas, o artigo tem como intenção, também, trazer à superfície as armadilhas identitárias e, simultaneamente, (re)localizar o lugar des sujeites nos desafios das atualidades.

Résumé :

É fato que o mundo está se tornando cada vez mais tecnológico, tendo em vista que muitas atividades do dia a dia das pessoas está centrada em algum mecanismo automatizado. Nesse sentido, o uso dessas tecnologias está se tornando rotineiro, pois alteram o modo de vida em sociedade, o que incorre em mudanças em várias áreas como social, política e econômica, contudo, tem provocado também muitas transformações nos processos de educação. O uso de tecnologias como aliadas ao processo de ensino e aprendizagem pode ser uma forma inovadora e interessante de se propor aulas que despertem mais a atenção dos alunos, facilitando a retenção de novos conhecimentos. Nesse sentido, este estudo teve como objetivo geral analisar o uso das tecnologias no ambiente escolar, mais especificamente, da realidade virtual nas aulas de Educação Física, evidenciando os ganhos, benefícios e resultados positivos que podem ser obtidos através desse recurso. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica em livros, artigos científicos, teses, monografias e outros materiais considerados relevantes para o aporte teórico e para o alcance do objetivo proposto. Ao final, o que se pode evidenciar é que usar a realidade nas aulas de Educação Física é algo bastante inovador e, justamente por isso, pode tornar o processo de ensino e aprendizagem mais efetivo, dinâmico e interessante, sendo uma forma de prender a atenção dos alunos para os conteúdos a serem ministrados, além de ser uma forma de tornar as aulas dessa disciplina mais diferenciadas, focando-se em uma abordagem que relaciona a teoria com a prática.

Résumé :

Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulation was carried out to study the conformation changes of the active zone of a Peptide Deformylase. Both the simulation with and without ligand were initialed from the crystal structure (1bs8). The tripeptide, Met-Ala-Ser (MAS), was used as the ligand in simulation. After thermal equilibrium, trajectories of one nanosecond MD run was collected and analyzed. The simulation result was compared with the NMR and crystal observed structures. The simulation shows that within one nanosecond time domain, only local deformation of protein occurred. The active zone was defined by the associated active atomic sites and torsion angles. It is indicated that the active zone from the simulation without ligand is similar to that determined from NMR experiment in solution. The active zone is altered at some residues by comparison with the data from the simulation with or without ligand, which is different from the results obtained from crystal structures. It is suggested that the active zone of PDF in solution could be influenced by the ligand locally.

ABSTRACTThe social simulation or SocSim is a method for the exploration and understanding of social processes through computer simulations. A society is a nonlinear complex system difficult to be modeled and studied. Therefore, in the last years, this paradigm has gained a great importance for the study of disciplines as diverse as sociology, biology, physics, chemistry, ecology, and economics. This paper presents the SocSim, the advantages of interactive learning, the main methodologies of research in this paradigm, practical tools to build these simulations, models ready for use in the classroom, and specific cases of emblematic social simulations as Sugarscape and the prisoner's dilemma. As explained, even without programming experience, SocSim is a powerful tool for understanding complex phenomena by interacting with simulated models which can be accessed from any web browser.RESUMENLa simulación social o SimSoc es un método para la exploración y entendimiento de procesos sociales mediante simulaciones en computadores. Una sociedad es un sistema complejo no lineal difícil de ser modelado y estudiado. Por ello, en los últimos años este paradigma ha ganado una gran importancia para el estudio de disciplinas tan dispares como Sociología, Biología, Física, Química, Ecología, y Economía. Este trabajo presenta la SimSoc, las ventajas que aporta en el aprendizaje interactivo, las principales metodologías de investigación en este paradigma, herramientas prácticas para construir estas simulaciones, modelos listos para ser utilizados en el aula, y casos concretos de simulaciones sociales emblemáticas como Sugarscape y el dilema del prisionero. Résumé :

El acoso sexual callejero es uno de los tipos de violencia de género más normalizados en la sociedad peruana, sin embargo, poco se ha explorado sobre el impacto que posee en el ejercicio de la ciudadanía femenina. A partir del caso de estudio de Villa El Salvador se analiza cómo este tipo de violencia impacta en la capacidad de agencia de las mujeres villa salvadoreñas tomando en cuenta los parámetros del pluralismo normativo de Dhal que establece condiciones mínimas democráticas como la posibilidad de (i) formular preferencias, (ii) manifestar públicamente preferencias, y (iii) ser tratadas con igualdad en el sistema político. Finalmente, al contrastar los parámetros establecidos por Dhal frente al ejercicio de ciudadanía de las mujeres villa salvadoreñas se advierte que estas pese a que reconocen la existencia del acoso sexual callejero como una barrera para ejercer su ciudadanía, la entienden como un “mal necesario que atravesar” si ser representadas políticamente en el sistema político de Villa El Salvador es el objetivo.

Résumé :

We propose a novel single-electron refrigerator (SER) which can be fabricated in silicon-on-insulator wafers. The SER has a structure of single-electron box combined with single-electron pump (SEP). An equivalent circuit of the SEP-refrigerator is represented and its stability diagram (Coulomb diamond) is theoretically calculated. It is found that the stability diagram has a honeycomb structure. Moreover, the operation of the single-electron transfer and single-electron storage is numerically demonstrated using a Monte Carlo simulation based on the orthodox theory of the Coulomb blockade phenomenon.

Résumé :

Satellite channel is a typical band-limited and non-linear channel, and 8PSK signal with continuous phase (CP8PSK) is proposed to provide better SER performance in the channel. CP8PSK has higher bandwidth efficiency than GMSK and SOQPSK. Although CP8PSK’s SER performance is 1.5dB worse than traditional 8PSK signal in the Gauss channel, it has better performance in nonlinear satellite channel. With theory analysis and simulation, this paper compares the characteristics of 8PSK and CP8PSK working in the nonlinear satellite channel, especially considering the situation when the amplifier working in the nonlinear area.

Résumé :

Anticorrelations among brain areas observed in fMRI acquisitions under resting state are not endowed with a well-defined set of characters. Some evidence points to a possible physiological role for them, and simulation models showed that it is appropriate to explore such an issue. A large-scale brain representation was considered, implementing an agent-based brain-inspired model (ABBM) incorporating the SER (susceptible-excited-refractory) cyclic mechanism of state change. The experimental data used for validation included 30 selected functional images of healthy controls from the 1000 Functional Connectomes Classic collection. To study how different fractions of positive and negative connectivities could modulate the model efficiency, the correlation coefficient was systematically used to check the goodness-of-fit of empirical data by simulations under different combinations of parameters. The results show that a small fraction of positive connectivity is necessary to match at best the empirical data. Similarly, a goodness-of-fit improvement was observed upon addition of negative links to an initial pattern of only-positive connections, indicating a significant information intrinsic to negative links. As a general conclusion, anticorrelations showed that it is crucial to improve the performance of our simulation and, since these cannot be assimilated to noise, should be always considered in order to refine any brain functional model.

Résumé :

Due to its tensile strength and excellent biocompatibility, titanium (Ti) is commonly used as an implant material in medicine and dentistry. The success of dental implants depends on the formation of a contact between the oxidized surface of Ti implant and the surrounding bone tissue. The adsorption of proteins and peptides to the implant surface allows the bone-forming osteoblast cells to adhere to such modified surfaces. Recently, it has been observed that tetrapeptide KRSR (Lys-Arg-Ser-Arg) functionalization could promote osteoblast adhesion to implant surfaces. This may facilitate the establishment of an efficient bone-to implant contact and improve implant stability during the healing process. GROMACS, a molecular dynamics software package was used to perform a 200 ns simulation of adsorption of the KRSR peptide to the TiO2 (anatase) surface in an aqueous environment. The molecule conformations were mapped with Replica Exchange Molecular Dynamics (REMD) simulations to assess the possible peptide conformations on the anatase surface, and the umbrella sampling method was used to calculate the binding energy of the most common conformation. The simulations have shown that the KRSR peptide migrates and attaches to the surface in a stable position. The dominant amino acid residue interacting with the TiO2 surface was the N-terminal charged lysine (K) residue. REMD indicated that there is a distinct conformation that is taken by the KRSR peptide. In this conformation the surface interacts only with the lysine residue while the ser (S) and arg (R) residues interact with water molecules farther from the surface. The binding free energy of the most common conformation of KRSR peptide to the anatase (100) surface was ΔG = −8.817 kcal/mol. Our result suggests that the N-terminal lysine residue plays an important role in the adhesion of KRSR to the TiO2 surface and may influence the osseointegration of dental implants.

Las estrategias de simulación permiten a los participantes experimentar las realidades corporales de las personas con discapacidad, lo que puede fomentar el desarrollo de actitudes positivas que propicien la inclusión. Los programas de sensibilización hacia la discapacidad han incluido generalmente actividades de simulación de la discapacidad física o sensorial, pero en escasas ocasiones se han introducido actividades de simulación de la discapacidad intelectual por ser estas menos evidentes. Este trabajo presenta un cuento motor compuesto por desafíos físicos cooperativos, diseñado para sensibilizar al profesorado hacia la necesidad de atención a la discapacidad intelectual en Educación Física a través de la simulación indirecta de la misma. Asimismo, se evaluaron las conductas cooperativas al ser aplicado en un grupo de maestros en formación a través del diario de seguimiento para Retos Físicos Cooperativos de carácter emocional. La puesta en práctica con docentes en formación mostró que el cuento motor tenía el potencial para generar conductas colaboración y apoyo, aunque se había dificultado la comprensión de las instrucciones de los desafíos que lo componían. En conclusión, la Galaxia Diversa podría ser una herramienta pedagógica útil para sensibilizar hacia la discapacidad intelectual, a través de la simulación indirecta, si se utiliza como pretexto crítico para visibilizar la desigualdad en la que se encuentran cuando no se atienden sus necesidades educativas específicas. Además, su diseño permite trabajar sobre los principios del Diseño Universal del Aprendizaje, como puede ser la necesidad de proporcionar múltiples formas de representación de la información que se transmite. Simulation strategies, which may promote inclusive attitudes, allow participants to experience the physical reality of disabled people. Disability Awareness programs have generally included simulation activities for physical or sensory disabilities, but simulation activities regarding intellectual disabilities have rarely been introduced since they are less obvious. This work presents a motor story compound of cooperative physical challenges, which have been designed to raise teachers’ awareness of intellectual disability in the subject of Physical Education through the indirect simulation. Likewise, the cooperative behavior aroused when applied in a pre-service teachers’ group through the Cooperative Physical Challenges of an emotional nature diary were evaluated. The motor story application with pre-service teachers showed the potential to generate collaborative and supportive behavior, although it had been difficult to understand the instructions of the challenges. In conclusion, the Diverse Galaxy could be a useful pedagogical tool to raise awareness of intellectual disabilities, through indirect simulation, if it is used as a critical incident to make visible the inequality in which students find themselves when their specific educational needs are not met. In addition, its design allows working on the principles of Universal Learning Design, such as the need to provide multiple ways of representing the information that is transmitted. High occurrences of Salmonella enterica serovar Enteritidis outbreak from table eggs have been reported worldwide over the past two decades. Consumptions of hard-boiled and half-boiled eggs are popular among Malaysians. However, there is a lack of study in the risk assessment of salmonellosis associated with different egg consumption patterns. The purpose of this study was to determine the survival rate of S. enterica ser. Enteritidis in different methods for cooking eggs (hard-boiled, half-boiled and a minimally cooked egg with hot cocoa drink) using the simulation model of consumers eating habits and the risk associated with different egg consumptions patterns. In this study, S. enterica ser. Enteritidis was not detected in the hard-boiled egg samples. However, the survival rate of S. enterica ser. Enteritidis in both the half-boiled and the raw egg samples were 3.15 log CFU/mL and 7.01 log CFU/mL, respectively. The Monte Carlo Simulation applying quantitative microbial risk assessments (QMRA) was carried out using 10,000 iterations to access the risk of acquiring salmonellosis by consuming eggs cooked under different heat treatments. The total dosage of S. enterica ser. Enteritidis ingested per serving meal in the hard-boiled, half-boiled and minimally cooked eggs were 0.00 CFU/g, 7.526×104 CFU/ mL and 5.433×108 CFU/mL, respectively. The consumptions of half-boiled and minimally cooked eggs were above infectious dosage level (102 to 104 CFU/mL). The annual risk for the three feature of methods were 0.00, 1.00 and 1.00, respectively. In this study, it was indicated that there was a high probability of acquiring salmonellosis through the consumption of half-boiled and minimally cooked eggs. Thus, the fully cooked eggs should be taken instead of the undercooked eggs to avoid consuming S. enterica ser. Enteritidis.

O ciclo de PDCA é desenvolvido através de uma gestão que prega pela performance da melhoria da instituição, sendo assim o PDCA é divido é colocado em várias etapas como: planejar, fazer, verificar e agir. |A sua aplicabilidade tem quer ser de qualidade benéfica que ajuda no preparo da atividade, que mostre a gestão como o caminho da instituição está agindo de forma correta. As atividades podem ser mostradas através de cada momento do trabalho desenvolvido, com um grande intuito verificar a grande dificuldade que alguns alunos tem no desenvolvimento da aprendizagem.

As tecnologias, incluindo a Inteligência Artificial (IA), tornaram-se parte integrante de nossa sociedade, desempenhando papéis fundamentais em diversas áreas, como pessoal, profissional e financeira, com o auxílio de smartphones e internet. E na Educação, essa realidade não poderia ser diferente. Atualmente, já existem empresas que destinam seus trabalhos e pesquisas a esse setor, especialmente nos cursos à distância. Diante desse cenário, o objetivo deste trabalho é realizar uma revisão da literatura, acompanhada com uma breve análise sobre a inserção da Inteligência Artificial na educação. Como justificativa, destacaremos a Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC), a qual nos instiga a compreender e utilizar as tecnologias digitais nos ambientes escolares, visando incentivar o protagonismo e a autonomia dos indivíduos em suas vidas pessoais e coletivas. Além disso, apresentaremos vantagens, desvantagens e desafios a serem enfrentados pelos docentes e/ou estudantes para que a IA possa ser inserida na educação e para que gere uma aprendizagem significativa. Para finalizar, analisaremos um caso descrito na literatura, que ilustra uma aplicação prática bem-sucedida da IA em uma instituição de ensino.

Este trabalho de iniciação do curso do mestrado em Tecnologias Emergentes em Educação, tem como objetivo discorrer sobre a modernidade atual e a geração atual de estudantes, como deve ser tal educação, seus aspectos, suas características. Como as instituições e os professores devem se conduzir diante dessa realidade. Constituindo-se em um trabalho de pesquisa bibliográfica e análise. Considerando a Modernidade Líquida de Zygmunt Bauman e as Gerações de Veteranos, Baby Boomers, X, Y, Z e Alpha, de modo representativo e explanatório, como indica Zygmunt Bauman e alguns outros autores. Mais como analisar como deve ser a educação atual, diante dessas mudanças de gerações, procuramos encorajar o leitor a enfrentar a realidade atual e que venham desejar, planejar, aspirar novas reflexões, novos métodos de ensino-aprendizagem mediante a um mundo complexo, com mudanças frequentes, que sejam eficientes nos tempos atuais. A complexidade da modernidade líquida, na esfera educacional, nos obriga a refletir sobre a práxis. The measurement of skin electrical resistance (SER) has drawn a great deal of attention for the rapid screening of transdermal penetration enhancers (PEs). However, the mechanisms underlying the SER measurement are still unclear. This study was to investigate the effects and mechanisms of seven oxygen-containing terpenes on the SER kinetics. Stratum corneum (SC) lipids were proved to play a key role in SER measurement. Then, the factors affecting the SER measurement were optimized. By the determination of SER kinetics, cyclic terpenes (1,8-cineole, terpinen-4-ol, menthol and α-terpineol) were demonstrated to possess higher enhancement ratio (ER) values compared with linear terpenes (linalool, geraniol and citral). For the first time, the linear correlation was found between ER of terpenes and the interaction energy of terpene–ceramide complexes revealed by molecular simulation. The attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) analysis revealed that the effect of cyclic terpenes on SC lipid arrangement was obviously stronger than that of linear terpenes. In addition, by evaluating HaCaT skin cell viability, little difference was found between the toxicities of cyclic and linear terpenes. In conclusion, measurement of SER could be a feasible approach for the efficient evaluation of the PEs that mainly act on SC lipids.

CRL is a highly versatile enzyme that finds extensive utility in numerous industries, which is attributed to its selectivity and catalytic efficiency, which have been impeded by the impracticality of its implementation, leading to a loss of native catalytic activity and non-reusability. Enzyme immobilization is a necessary step for enabling its reuse, and it provides methods for regulating the biocatalyst’s functional efficacy in a synthetic setting. MOFs represent a novel category of porous materials possessing distinct superlative features that make MOFs an optimal host matrix for developing enzyme-MOF composites. In this study, we employed molecular modeling approaches, for instance, molecular docking and MD simulation, to explore the interactions between CRL and a specific MOF, ZIF-8. The present study involved conducting secondary structural analysis and homology modeling of CRL, followed by docking ZIF-8 with CRL. The results of the molecular docking analysis indicate that ZIF-8 was situated within the active site pocket of CRL, where it formed hydrogen bonds with Val-81, Phe-87, Ser-91, Asp-231, Thr-132, Lue-297, Phe-296, Phe-344, Thr-347, and Ser-450. The MD simulation analysis revealed that the CRL and ZIF-8 docked complex exhibited stability over the entire simulation period, and all interactions presented in the initial docked complex were maintained throughout the simulation. The findings derived from this investigation could promote comprehension of the molecular mechanisms underlying the interaction between CRL and ZIF-8 as well as the development of immobilized CRL for diverse industrial purposes.

The peptide Asp-Glu-Lys-Ser has been studied using the software package ALTA:maPS, with simulation of the pH conditions and the influence of the solvent, in order to investigate the possible stabilization of its structure by a hydrogen bond and a salt-bridge. The theoretical results confirm the existence of a salt-bridge, between the side chains of the Glu and Lys residues, in aqueous solution at neutral pH but not at acid pH, in agreement with the observation from NMR studies. On the other hand the calculations indicate that no hydrogen bond exists in aqueous solution at either pH. The fact that an in-vacuum simulation shows the existence of a hydrogen bond between the peptidic CO group of the Asp residue and the peptidic NH group of the Ser residue suggests that a molecular dynamics study might confirm that a small percentage (less than 25%) of the peptide molecules may exist as an H-bonded conformer, as postulated from the NMR results. Se han propuesto alternativas para el manejo y tratamiento de los residuos del beneficio del café sin embargo han resultado ser muy complejas, costosas y no han sido adoptadas por los productores del grano o los efluentes no cumplen con los requerimientos de la normatividad vigente en el país. El objetivo de la investigación fue establecer la evapotranspiración (ET) y los coeficientes de cultivo (Kc) de tres especies de plantas comunes en la región cafetera: Arundo donax, heliconia fire opal y brachiaria mutica para ser utilizadas en los humedales construidos con descarga cero como alternativa para el tratamiento de aguas residuales del beneficio del café. Se construyeron tres unidades en recipientes plásticos de 100 litros en las cuales se plantaron las especies. Tres meses después de establecidos los cultivos se iniciaron las mediciones del consumo diario de agua en cada humedal y se calculó la ET y la evaporación de referencia ET0. Arundo donax fue la especie con la mayor ET con un promedio de 8.6±4.2 mm/d, logrando un incremento del 83% respecto de la ET0 la cual fue de 4.7±0.5 mm/d. El Kc promedio para la caña fue 1.8±0.8 siendo el mayor.

Las técnicas de simulación utilizan modelos numéricos y matemáticos permitiendo explorar alternativas y comprender los procesos fluidodinámicos involucrados en el área cardiovascular. Las diferentes aplicaciones en ingeniería requieren del uso de materiales que cumplan con mayor desempeño y confiabilidad para dar solución a los problemas conceptuales donde la optimización del recurso es la base para lograr este objetivo. Es por esto que se deben realizar una validación de las diferentes condiciones físicas de los productos antes de realizar los ensayos clínicos. Los materiales convencionales no cumplen con esa prestación, es por esto que se desarrollan estudios en materiales compuestos que logran suplir los diferentes campos de estudio. Es por tal motivo que se utilizan herramientas computacionales para determinar de forma predictiva como va ser el comportamiento del material bajo las condiciones que va a ser sometida y de esta forma determinar factores relacionados directamente con su funcionamiento, vida de servicio y afectación al cuerpo humano. Ahí entran los métodos numéricos los cuales permiten conocer el cambio en el material respecto a su deformación y dilatación térmica para conocer si cumple con los requerimientos deseados en la aplicación.

A educação está em constante evolução, e a crescente digitalização do mundo contemporâneo exige abordagens inovadoras no processo educacional, e as mídias digitais são uma parte importante da comunicação contemporânea e têm tido um grande impacto na forma como nos entretemos, consumimos informações e interagimos com o mundo ao nosso redor. Neste contexto, este artigo objetivou analisar na literatura a termologia, quais são as mídias digitais e as produções audiovisuais utilizadas pelo docente no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, e consequentemente, seu impacto dentro e fora da sala de aula. Utilizando-se da revisão bibliográfica como processo metodológico, e aplicando os critérios de inclusão e exclusão, tais como, publicações dos últimos 15 anos no idioma inglês e português, artigos com palavras-chave em torno da temática, artigos e publicações em base de dados confiáveis, artigos acessíveis com resumo disponíveis e gratuitos. Observou-se que a introdução de mídias digitais e pesquisa aplicada nesse contexto traz benefícios significativos para a formação dos alunos, bem como, para a sociedade em geral, no entanto, o processo de uso desses recursos deve ser aplicado depois da capacitação do docente, para assim, ser utilizada em sala de aula com os discentes.

En los últimos años, el desarrollo de varias técnicas de simulación posterior ha impulsado el campo de la econometría bayesiana, especialmente en trabajos aplicados. La distribución previa juega un papel dominante en el análisis bayesiano; los anteriores están destinados a reflejar la información que el investigador tiene antes de ver los datos. Esta investigación examinó la sensibilidad de los métodos de muestreo de Gibbs (GS) e Integración de Monte Carlo (MCI) a tres niveles diferentes de correlación en covarianza previa para conocer los efectos de la correlación variable en los métodos de simulación posterior al estimar los parámetros en un modelo de regresión lineal. Los tres niveles diferentes de correlación son: Correlación negativa (NC), correlación positiva (PC) y correlación cero (ZC). Los resultados mostraron que el MCI superó al GS en la mayoría de los casos y la precisión del MCI no depende del nivel de correlación, ya sea positivo o negativo, mientras que el GS se desempeñó mejor cuando se usó el nivel de correlación positivo como información en la covarianza previa que el uso de un nivel negativo de correlación. El uso de MCI en la inferencia bayesiana podría ser de importancia práctica para los profesionales.

Precoding techniques are widely used to eliminate interference between multiple user signals in a wireless fading channel environment. The linear MMSE precoding technique, one of the most widely used techniques so far, has low computational complexity but has the disadvantage of relatively poor symbol error rate (SER) performance. The symbol-level precoding (SLP) technique, on which much research has been conducted recently, has excellent SER performance but has the disadvantage of being too computationally complex. In this paper, we propose a hybrid precoding technique that simultaneously applies SLP and MMSE precoding to appropriately adjust SER performance and computational complexity performance. If two different types of precoding techniques are applied simultaneously, interference may occur between signals to which different types of precoding are applied, which can significantly deteriorate SER performance. Therefore, in this paper, precoding is designed to prevent interference between the two signals using the null space of the channel matrices. Through computer simulation, the proposed scheme showed that its SER performance was superior to that of the linear MMSE scheme, and the computational complexity was much lower than that of the SLP scheme.

AbstractIn this work, signal space diversity (SSD) method is exploited for a simple two-way relay channel (TWRC) with two end users mutually exchanging information. In order to ensure simplicity, the same rotation angle and interleavers are used under SSD framework. Also the well known decode-and-forward (DF) and amplify-and-forward (AF) protocols are adapted for the proposed TWRC. The analytical symbol error rate (SER) performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated for DF and AF protocols individually and evaluated through simulation results. The proposed scheme is shown to improve the performance of TWRC in terms of SER for both two protocols.

O presente artigo foi elaborado por meio de um estudo descritivo que se iniciou com um estudo bibliográfico sobre a importância da gestão da mudança frente às constantes transformações pelas quais as organizações têm enfrentado a fim de se manterem competitivas e eficazes. As mudanças ocorrem frequentemente, conforme as pressões e ações do ambiente interno e externo, provocando assim uma quebra de paradigmas e adequando cultural organizacional aos novos tempos. Mas para que essas mudanças sejam implementadas, seu processo deve se dar de forma holística, levando-se em consideração todos os níveis organizacionais, bem como todos os afetados devem ser previamente comunicados acerca dos motivos e benefícios da mudança a ser implementada. Com isso, os membros da equipe terão papel atuante no processo de mudança e não se sentirão excluídos e forçados a realizar um processo que não reconhecem. Quaisquer que sejam as mudanças a serem implementadas, estas serão mais difíceis de lidar quando implementadas por alguém que não pertencente à organização, gerando desconfiança e resistência por aqueles que devem fazer parte do planejamento. A pesquisa bibliográfica deste artigo foi desenvolvida a partir de material já elaborado, constituído principalmente por artigos científicos e pesquisa documental realizada através de blogs e sites sobre o tema abordado.

This article presents a high-precision airborne video synthetic aperture radar (SAR) raw echo simulation method aimed at addressing the issue of simulation accuracy in video SAR image generation. The proposed method employs separate techniques for simulating targets and ground clutter, utilizing pre-existing SAR images for clutter simulation and employing the shooting and bouncing rays (SBR) approach to generate target echoes. Additionally, the method accounts for target-generated shadows to enhance the realism of the simulation results. The fast simulation algorithm is implemented using the C++ programming language and the Accelerated Massive Parallelism (AMP) framework, providing a fusion technique for integrating clutter and target simulations. By combining the two types of simulated data to form the final SAR image, the method achieves efficient and accurate simulation technology. Experimental results demonstrate that this method not only improves computational speed but also ensures the accuracy and stability of the simulation outcomes. This research holds significant implications for the development of algorithms pertaining to video SAR target detection and tracking, providing robust support for practical applications.

In this paper, the precoding-based peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction methods are studied for the massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system in the angular domain. The expectation maximization generalized approximate message passing algorithm and the proposed optimized alternating direction method of multipliers (OADMM) scheme are adopted here to explore the system characteristics in terms of the symbol error ratio (SER) performance, the PAPR reduction efficiency, and the inter user interference (IUI). Specifically, the high PAPR problem is reduced to no more than 0.18 dB by using the inherent property of the massive MIMO-OFDM angle division multiple access (ADMA) system with relatively reduced computational complexity. Moreover, the value of SER is around 10−5 dB when the proposed technique is performed. Computer numerical simulation results verify the efficiency of the proposed technique from the perspective of SER, PAPR suppression, and IUI.
