Résumé :
Mudharabah financing investment, also known as trust financing, is a method of distributing funds in Sharia banking to comply with the religious prohibition of interest on loans. However, the use of legal protection has not been maximized in increasing the growth of mudharabah financing investment products, especially for SMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), due to the complicated process of filing and guarantees needed by the bank. This study, therefore aims to implement adequate investment funds sharing agreement in Indonesia’s Sharia Banking System for mudharabah investments to be felt in all categories. The result showed that regulatory restructuring is needed for the application of mudharabah investment to be a real sector driver without eliminating the purity of Islamic principles.

<p>One of the computer-based information systems is a website, usually this web information system is in offline or online form. Dissemination or delivery of information carried out on online information systems can be accessed by anyone and anywhere with the provision that they must have an internet connection. The purpose of this study is to provide a solution through the study of several theories and observations in the design of a web-based inheritance distribution expert system. The author uses the forward chaining method in designing an expert system. The application development methodology that I use is the ESDLC (Expert System Develop Life Cycle) method. The expected result of this research is the creation of an application design that can simplify the process of calculating inheritance in accordance with Islamic perspective because inheritance is often crucial which sometimes triggers disputes and causes rifts in family relationships and crime. Therefore we need an expert system that can assist in performing calculations.</p>

Résumé :
Anthropological studies reveal the development of the life of ancient Tamils hierarchical development. The lives of the people in the hunting community, i.e., the ethnic social status, are found in other forms in the feudal society that followed. The division is the division. The hunting community is feeding food because it cannot be stored. In feudal society, too, such a baddeity was transformed into hospitality. The distribution of the looted goods has also been transformed into a fly. It may be said that the function of sharing in cultural life was in the social position of the ethnic group. Even today, such a practice of sharing is seen among the tribalpeople. It is said that the ancient Tamils adopted sharing in alternative forms. Anthropologists refer to sharng as the custom of the early ethnic communities. In the sangam society, which was a feudal society, there was a baddita. It is seen that in the purananuru songs, they attracted the aniyars and made them into themselves.

Résumé :
Recently, data-based administration is being activated to strengthen the ability to predict and respond to disasters. Accordingly, the importance of efficient decision-making using disaster safety information and data and preparation of prediction and response plans is emerging. Therefore, this study analyzed the current state of the disaster safety management information system for practical collection and sharing of distributed disaster safety data and information and application of a user-centered sharing platform. Problems were derived and the development direction of the disaster safety data sharing platform currently under construction was proposed. As a result of the analysis, many of the problems in the disaster safety knowledge information sharing system that have been continuously pointed out in the past have not been improved. Problems of the disaster safety knowledge sharing platform include the lack of data provider institutions, limited disaster type classification, lack of real-time disaster situation information, lack of visualization and analysis functions, and lack of network communities among users. As an improvement plan, a data connection plan and a plan to provide information for each stage of disaster management were presented. In addition, diversification of data format and strengthening of networking among users were suggested.

Nowadays, due to climate change and many other facts affecting daily life a trend to use eco-friendly transportation ways has arisen, and from them the one mostly used and with the highest acceptance is biking. Therefore, several companies have emerged offering bike-sharing systems, and those systems have been greatly accepted in the different metropolises around the world. The generalization of these systems has created a new need: to manage them efficiently. Consequently, in this work, we propose a software architecture and the implementation of a bike-sharing management system using the Internet of things (IoT).

Résumé :

Finnegan Lab System is a graphical computer program for learning how secret sharing works. With its focus on the algorithms and the data streams, the user does not have to consider machine-specific low-level details. It is highly modularised and is not restricted to secret sharing, but can easily be extended with new functions, such as building blocks for Feistel networks or signal processing.

This thesis describes what secret sharing is, the development of a new lab system designed for secret sharing and how it can be used.

Résumé :
Today many companies show a highly interest in adopting the e-business. However, companies need different information system strategy in the adoption of e-business in order tosupport information sharing. Information system strategy is concerned with aligning ofinformation system with business needs. Beside this, companies need to search after strategicadvantage from information technology, since information system strategy explains what todo with IT. The earlier experiences point to the fact that companies failed to develop theirbusinesses through Internet mainly because they did not developed an appropriate strategy. This study investigates how to implement information system strategy to support informationsharing in the context of e-business. Thus, the purpose of this study is to highlight differentperspectives in adaptation of information system strategy within e-business companies. Theempirical study is based on a qualitative method of data collection by using three interrelatedcase studies. The study conducted a number of interviews with three e-business companiesnamed Hööks, NetOnNet and Kwintet. The theoretical framework provided knowledge about e-business, information sharing, andinformation system strategies. The findings - by means of interview questions - were analyzedby theoretical ideas. The authors came to a number of conclusions:1. Perspectives in information system strategy are divided into different parts consist ofERP system, supporting system, and manual approach, depending on how the ebusinesscompanies uses the information system strategies.2. Information system strategies are embedded with ERP system and are interconnectivelyused companies that use the e-business as their core business system.3. The e-business provides information workflow to support information sharing.4. The final conclusion is that there are remaining perspectives, which are not connectedto ERP system, but they are vital for the implementation of information systemstrategies for information sharing.

This thesis describes the design, implementation and evaluation of OpenWiFi, a consumer WiFi-sharing system. OpenWiFi aims to allow owners of WiFi access points (APs) to function as private internet service providers. The OpenWiFi model combines WiFi access facilities owned by participating individuals or businesses under a virtual network operator who offers internet access from these facilities to clients who subscribe and pay for the service. The major problems in designing and implementing OpenWiFi include providing secure separation between private users of home networks from paying clients, developing a billing model that guarantees correct and fair payments when both clients and AP owners are untrusted and generalizing our mechanisms so that OpenWiFi may operate on hetergenous underlying hardware and software. We solved these problems with simple, clean procedures implemented at wireless APs and at a central Open-WiFi server that require no client modification. We conducted a number of static and mobile experiments, the result of which show that OpenWiFi is usable by roaming users who do not move continuously as well as high mobility users who connect from automobiles traveling at vehicular speeds.

Our desire to have common experiences with other people leads us to share media such as photographs and music. With computer networks as the media delivery system we create new opportunities for recording media utilization and ownership. Using traditional and responsive media we explore systems that enable enhanced shared experiences through modeling groups of users. A series of prototypes built with an experimental framework, MediaConnector, help us document observations and behaviors of participants. MediaConnector is a peer-to-peer media-sharing framework that allows people to develop new peer-to-peer media sharing application. Through engendering each node with its own historical audit trail we can take a crawler approach and dynamically build group profiles and perform trend analysis. Theoretical and practical work that leads to the final framework design is discussed. In particular experiments with GPS enabled cameras that explore metadata interrelationships, networked tables to share photos and two construction tests of the MediaConnector framework in dynamic group level personalization of television and audio content. It is intended that a "constructionist" approach together with new behavioral analysis will foster new and novel sharing applications to emerge. MediaConnector is evaluated by its ability to support the above approach in a community of users.

Résumé :
With the current trend of cloud services available in every market area in IT business, it is somewhat surprising that security services are not migrated to the cloud widely. Security as a Service (SECaaS) model is hardly popular at the moment even though the infrastructure of the cloud, or web, can support most of the functionalities of conventional distributed security services. Another uncommon phenomenon in the cloud is sharing secure files with multi-tenant support. This kind of service would be best available integrated with a SECaaS platform that may offer more similar application services. This thesis proposes, studies, designs, develops and evaluates a Secure Documents Sharing System for Cloud Environment with the possibility of integrating to a SECaaS platform.

Résumé :
Abstract This work analyzes the change in the modularity of engineered systems upon leveraging function-sharing in the systems. Function-sharing refers to the simultaneous implementation of multiple functions by a single component. Leveraging function-sharing reduces the number of components constituting a system, and leads to improvements in the system’s performance characteristics. However, leveraging function-sharing in a system’s design is often presumed to decrease the system’s modularity and, consequently, inhibit the design benefits of maintaining a high system modularity. This work performs a simulation-based analysis to show that leveraging function-sharing may not necessarily decrease a system’s modularity. The change in a system’s modularity upon leveraging function-sharing is shown to be dependent upon the initial modularity of the system, the strength of inter-dependencies between the components that are combined to leverage function-sharing, and the strength of interactions between the teams designing the system modules. The analysis is performed by generating a sample set of hypothetical modular systems, and modeling them as undirected networks. Function-sharing is then simulated in the sample systems, and the change in the modularity of the systems upon implementing function-sharing is quantified using an existing modularity metric. The information presented in this work can support the design of systems that can simultaneously leverage function-sharing and exhibit a high modularity.

Résumé :
Car-sharing services promise “green” transportation systems. Two vehicle technologies offer marketable, sustainable sharing: Autonomous vehicles eliminate customer requirements for car pick-up and return, and battery electric vehicles entail zero-emissions. Designing an Autonomous Electric Vehicle (AEV) fleet must account for the relationships among fleet operations, charging station operations, electric powertrain performance, and consumer demand. This paper presents a system design optimization framework integrating four sub-system problems: Fleet size and assignment schedule; number and locations of charging stations; vehicle powertrain requirements; and service fees. A case study for an autonomous fleet operating in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is used to examine AEV sharing system profitability and feasibility for a variety of market scenarios.

How-ever, not all subnational administrations have access to ports where customs revenues are collected, creating a considerable fiscal disparity among different subnational units. This paper argues that revenue sharing from international taxes is an important step towards a cohesive and sustainable federal system in Somalia. It further presents options for revenue sharing arrangements through fiscal equalization between the Federal Government of Somalia and the Federal Member States that may strengthen the federal system and allow for more equitable access to domestic revenue.

Résumé :
The governance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Nepal was heavily centralized in the past as the country was operating under a unitary government system. The 2015 Constitution has opened the avenue to operate the TVET sector in a federalized setting with the sharing of TVET functions along with power and authority by three tiers of government. However, the sharing of power and authority between the federal and subnational governments has not been easy as highlighted by the Constitution. This paper attempts to analyse the challenges that are hindering the smooth transition of centrally held power and authority towards the subnational governments. It argues that although there is a general support and optimism for the federal transition, many challenges remain for the implementation. The existing political economy of the TVET sector limits the realisation of the Constitution’s goals of transformation for the TVET sector in a federal setting.

Résumé :
This work provides an institutional, legal and policy review of crucial aspects of land records modernisation systems at the national level. Introducing property records and patterns of ownership in India, it provides an overview of various central government schemes promoting land records modernisation. It discusses the systemic and legal characteristics of land records and the proposed shift to conclusive land titling system, drawing attention to issues of tenure and property rights, especially in the urban and peri-urban context. Presenting multiple case studies on ongoing modernisation initiatives in some of the study states, the volumes also looks at the roles of multiple institutional stakeholders and the interfaces between them. Operational challenges faced in this transition to technology have also been discussed, in an attempt to bring out an overall picture of crucial issues and best practices across state-level diversities. The objective is to highlight the possibility of multiple trajectories and look at ways in which states can learn from each other by sharing experiences, while simultaneously acknowledging that there are certain issues that are typical of a particular state and must be resolved via deeper engagement with the local terrain.

Résumé :
The rapid development of transformative transportation technologies, such as bike-sharing, shared e-scooters, and ride-hailing systems, is reshaping the transportation landscape. These transformative transportation technologies have the potential to significantly change travel behavior and travel demand and affect transportation agencies’ planning, operations, and decision-making. The objective of this project is to develop a framework and models to quantify the potential travel demand and mobility impacts of transformative transportation technologies in Indiana cities. This project analyzed historical system usage data and conducted survey studies to evaluate the availability and use of transformative transportation technologies in select Indiana cities. The project also proposed a data-driven model to study the relationship between shared micro-mobility and the existing transit system and developed a simulation model to analyze the potential mode choice change under different future development scenarios. Additionally, based on a comprehensive literature review, a list of operations; environmental, health and safety; and accessibility and equity metrics were identified as the Key Performance Indicators to evaluate transformative transportation technologies. Furthermore, as this study was conducted in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the impacts of the pandemic on both traditional and transformative transportation systems were also examined as documented in the literature and stated in our survey.

Résumé :
[Extract from Executive Summary] To enhance sustainability and foster resilience within Scotland’s inshore fishing communities an effective system of collecting and sharing relevant data is required. To support business decisions made by vessel owners as well as informing fisheries managers and those involved in marine planning it will be vital to collect a range of information which will provide a robust understanding of fishing activity, the economic value of the sector and its importance within local communities. The SIFIDS Project was conceived to assist in attaining these goals by working alongside fishers to develop and test technology to automatically collect and collate data on board vessels, thereby reducing the reporting burden on fishers. The project built upon previous research funded through the European Fisheries Fund (EFF) and was designed to deliver a step change in the way that inshore fisheries in Scotland could be managed in cooperation with the industry. The project focussed on inshore fishing vessels around Scotland, where spatio-temporal information on the distribution of vessels and associated fishing effort is data deficient. The whole project was broken down into 12 highly integrated work packages. This is the integrated report for work packages 2A and 2B, entitled’ Development and Pilot Deployment of a Prototypic Autonomous Fisheries Data Harvesting System’ (2A) and ‘Investigation into the Availability and Adaptability of Novel Technological Approaches to Data Collection’ (2B).
