Texte intégralEsta tesis doctoral se centra en el estudio interdisciplinar del concepto de sharing city (SC). El objetivo general fue explorar desde la gestión, los imaginarios que se crean en la SC a partir de sus prácticas urbanas y narrativas sociales. La tesis es un compendio de publicaciones. La primera es una revisión sistemática de literatura sobre el concepto SC. Un valor importante añadido de este artículo es que se trata del primer estudio académico que examina y sistematiza las prácticas del compartir en la SC. Los resultados afianzan la relación entre la etiqueta sharing city y cómo utiliza estrategias del place branding y place management para consolidar su representación. La segunda publicación se enfoca en la implementación de la SC por el actor institucional. Mediante el frame analysis se exploró la comunicación estratégica de Barcelona como una SC. Los resultados demuestran que el gobierno local acompaña el crecimiento urbano desde una perspectiva social, fomenta narrativas para identificar e incluir a más actores dentro del proceso, y transmite los valores del compartir de forma positiva. La tercera publicación trata los espacios de coworking en la SC. El estudio se realizó en oficinas de Barcelona y Berlín, siguiendo el método de Teoría Fundamentada. Los resultados identificaron que se diseñan atmósferas de lugar para promover el compartir, el compromiso de los miembros con el espacio/comunidad, y que la cultura de compartir se refuerza con herramientas de comunicación corporativa. Esta tesis contribuye a la discusión sobre la SC como una etiqueta emergente que enfoca ideas y valores comunitarios. Además, sitúa la atención en prácticas urbanas y narrativas sociales que promueven la relación permanente entre actores de la ciudad, así como la búsqueda del consenso ciudadano.
This doctoral thesis focuses on the interdisciplinary study of the concept of sharing city (SC). The general objective was to explore from management, the imaginaries that are created in SC from its urban practices and social narratives. The thesis is a compendium of publications. The first is a systematic literature review on the SC concept. An important added value of this article is that it is the first academic study that examines and systematizes the practices of sharing in SC. The results strengthen the relationship between the sharing city label and how it uses place branding and place management strategies to consolidate its representation. The second publication focuses on the implementation of the SC by the institutional actor. Through the frame analysis, the strategic communication of Barcelona as a SC was explored. The results show that the local government accompanies urban growth from a social perspective, fosters narratives to identify and include more actors in the process, and transmits the values of sharing in a positive way. The third publication deals with coworking spaces in SC. The study was carried out in offices in Barcelona and Berlin, following the Grounded Theory method. The results revealed that atmospheres of place are designed to promote sharing, the commitment of members with the space/community, and that the culture of sharing is reinforced with corporate communication tools. This thesis contributes to the discussion about SC as an emerging label that focuses on community ideas and values. In addition, it places attention on urban practices and social narratives that promote the permanent relationship between city actors, as well as the search for citizen consensus.

Texte intégralThis doctoral research investigates the role that citizen-driven initiatives can play at the intersection of the urban and digital spaces. It follows three lines of investigation. First, it explores how research about grassroots alternatives for sustainable and just cities may benefit from a particular type of digital commons: collaborative cartographic mappings. Second, it investigates the intertwin of digital commons with physical urban commons to understand how commoning may lead to transformative impacts in the city. Third, it seeks to evaluate the transformative potential of the commons as a narrative of change for sustainable and just cities in the digital age. Methodologically, it relies on action research, primary individual case-studies as well as a comparative case-study analysis. A preliminary result is the identification of grassroots-led collaborative mappings – seen as commoning initiatives – as valuable sources of knowledge about alternative urban economies. Main results compel us to question the classical/naturalist understanding of the commons that tends to consider it as a given. Instead, research would benefit to investigate a commoning process: the reclaiming creation, and use of shared urban resources. And, further, transcending artificial divides between the tangible and intangible facets of the commons, (urban) commoning is best defined as a relational practice of caring for and building partnerships for the reproduction of life in the city. This is all the more important that another significant result of the present work is that, while they may open new potential, digital tools are not central to commoning the city, in contrast other discourses (Sharing Economy, Smart Cities). Epistemologically, the author recommends aligning the effort of researching urban commoning to the Diverse/Community Economies research agenda which calls for performative studies of more-than-human urban commoning-communities.

Texte intégralWithin the framework of the ongoing energy transition objectives, energy circulations at the infra-urban level are increasingly promoted. For instance, local, national and transnational stakeholders suggest the reuse of heat currently being wasted by diverse human activities (industries, data centres, wastewaters …). Alternatively, distributed energy sharing between different urban functions (residential, services, retail …) at the urban block or district scale is promoted. In short, several forms of connections through energy exchange between urban activities are encouraged and examples of those are multiplying.The thesis offers to capture those connections as new forms of urban networks that supersede or overlap a century-old network model based on techno-economic efficiency, socio-economic and socio-spatial solidarity and consumptions growth. It aims at understanding what these local circulations change to the co-construction of cities and energy networks.To do so, the approach combines the results of two different strands of work. On the one side, urban and sociotechnical studies of networked infrastructures allow to understand the reconfigurations of those systems. On the other side, industrial ecology works analyse the dynamics that lead to material circulations between human activities. The articulation of their results makes it possible to grasp the considered object in its social, technical and metabolic dimensions, that is, in a sociomaterial perspective.The analysis is mainly based on three French case studies of which the emergence, running and evolution are investigated: industrial waste heat reuse in the heat network of the city of Dunkirk, heat extraction from a data center to be distributes the in a district of Marne-la-Vallée and energy sharing in the La Confluence district in Lyon. More broadly, suggested or implemented reconfigurations of the organisation of energy provision are reviewed.The results of the study are threefold. First, these new forms of urban network are not solely motivated by techno-economic efficiency. The interests of the stakeholders all come into alignment with an objective of optimization of energy flows uses: from techno-economic efficiency, the goal becomes metabolic efficiency. Second, the networks formed by those circulations are unstable, in particular because of the uncertainties that regard short and long term availability of energy flows. Hence, they do not reproduce the solidarities that emerge from conventional large and stable networks. Third, to reduce those instabilities, actors suggest evolutions that aim at reducing their dependencies on uncertain flows. These evolutions all result in the growth of the network, but do not follow an objective of universalisation. On the contrary, an important spatial selection is operated, according to the perceived materiality of flows by actors. Instead of leading to new consumptions in a supply rationale, the logic becomes one of existing flows integration.To sum up, the thesis shows a “metabolic turn” in the process of networking the urban through energy circulations. While infrastructures extension has long been at the centre of networks construction, pre-existing produced and consumed flows can now become the primary motivation of building connections

Texte intégralSyftet med vår uppsats var att undersöka medborgare i en mindre stads inställning till nya digitala innovationer, specifikt autonoma fordon och bilpooler, samt åsikter kring medborgares delaktighet. Genom ett webbaserat frågeformulär, som distribuerades på sociala medier, samt en diskussionsgrupp på Facebook, bildades uppfattning kring människans acceptans, motivationsfaktorer, synpunkter och mobilitetsvanor. Sedan analyserades detta för att skapa en förståelse kring hur en medborgardialog bör föras i sociala medier. I linje med det undersöktes även samband om människans acceptans till nya digitala innovationer påverkas, beroende på hur dialogen förs och hur mycket information medborgarna tillhandahålls. Resultatet visade en tydlig relation mellan kännedom och inställning, där en liten kännedom skapade en mer negativ åsikt. Andra intressanta upptäckter som identifierades var att människor ser både problemområden och möjligheter med ett mer digitaliserat samhälle. Vi fann även att respondenterna önskade en ökad inkludering, samt att medborgares synpunkter beaktas och har en tydlig påverkan inom stadsutveckling. Avslutningsvis drar vi slutsatsen att graden av medborgarnas delaktighet och hur dialogen förs, formar deras acceptans samt förståelse för samhällsomställningar och mobilitetslösningar. Forskningsområdet kring människans acceptans, delaktighet och dialog kring autonoma fordon och bilpooler är ett växande undersökningsområde. Det gör att uppsatsen är explorativ vilket kan möjliggöra ytterligare och en mer djupgående forskning.

Texte intégralDet finns olika transporter i stadslogistiken (t.ex. passagerare, gods och avfall), som hanteras av enskilda fordon (SV) av motsvarande typ. Multifunktionsfordonet (MV) är ett framtida koncept vars lastmoduler kan ändras för olika stadstransporter. MV möjliggör sekventiell delning av olika mobiliteter, vilket på ett teoretiskt sätt förbättrar stadslogistikens effektivitet genom högre användning av fordon. En variantmodell av Pick-up and Delivery Problem with Time Windows är etablerad för att beskriva det sekventiella delningsproblemet med beaktande av både MV och SV med funktionerna i flera depåer, partiella laddningsstrategier och flottans storlek. I problemet kan MV: er ändra sina belastningsmoduler för alla typer av objekt som bärs av SV: er. En adaptiv stor stadsdelalgoritm (ALNS) har utvecklats med nya mekanismer för MV. Den föreslagna ALNS testas av 15 artificiella datafall och jämförs med MIP-lösaren. Resultaten visar att det föreslagna ALNS är tidseffektivt och validerat för att hitta bra lösningar.

Texte intégralThis project is about how we can live near each other in the city, while having clear boundaries around the areas we share. Where do we meet in the city? Where does the private sphere become commune? Communication, such as stairs and corridors, in residential houses has been reduced to a minimum. The result of this is that the balance between architecture and function is very unstable. To instead see this as a social area has the potential to create a vibrant atmosphere where more private functions are shared with the communication. How can we share space? What can the house share with the city? What can the user share with each other? Sharing is a potential way to save energy. How can we build to promote this? In the process, I have tried to define what creates an attractive residential building in a city context. I have done this by model sketching and analyze these in relation to examples of successful residential buildings. The formation of the communication and what we can share in a residential building are the two main questions in this project. How can the dwelling house be an extension to the city while signal a private sphere?

In Chinese, people thought that eating is a kind of social activities. They care about communication, sentiment and spectacle. It a circle table culture. In the past, Chinese hold a banquet with many celebrations. Everyone may sit with strangers and sharing your eating or chatting life to they in the banquet. It’s a special Chinese culture in the world. There have many street foods but lack of open space in Zhong-Hua night market in inner city of Taichung. I tried to create a open space near Zhong-Hua night market with the concept of circle table. And used the red table which symbolize urban surplus to be cut and reuse to make the other way to let people have a reunion. When people cooperate to let more piece of table together, the light box under the red table will become more redder which symbolize good news in Chinese. People can take a rest and memory the lively culture of banquet here. Hope they will feel more close and share their life in this open space.

Texte intégralThere has been an exponential growth of cities in the last decade. Rural to urban migration are occurring at an unprecedented level. This is partly because cities serve as hubs of innovation offering numerous economic opportunities. However, this growth comes with its unique challenges some of which include strained mobility, pollution, growth of slums etc. The “smart cities” concept aims to address this with increased efficiency using a unique combination of data and technology in every aspect of the city. Even though it is believed that the smart cities concept inherently incorporates sustainability or ultimately leads to a more sustainable city, not all smart city concepts are aligned with sustainability targets. In this research, we provide a more holistic view studying the relationship between a “smart city” and a “sustainable city”. We conceptualised a framework to measure the connection between technology and environmental sustainability and categorised European cities based on this relationship. We provide a concise and clearer understanding of the drivers of the use of technology through the sharing economy to foster sustainability in cities by citizens. Using a weighting and meta-analysis of adoption theories, we laid the foundation for additional hypothesises which researchers can evaluate in future smart sustainable cities assessment studies and provided interesting insights for city councils and governments pushing for a citizen adoption of sustainable practices within their administrative boundaries. Lastly, we rank European capital cities based on how smart and sustainable they are using a composite index based on publicly available data. We also carried out a sensitivity analysis and validation study of our results.

In recent years, more and more countries paid attention to the development of bike-sharing system. The main purpose of bike-sharing system is to provide the last mile service for public transportation and to increase the accessibility of public transportation. The relationship between bike-sharing system, public transport and private vehicle mode is worth exploring. Previous literatures mostly explored whether bike-sharing system could replace private vehicle mode, but less focus on the complementary relationship between bike-sharing and public transportation. Maybe there are different relationship between commute and leisure. This study is explored the complementary and substitution relationship of different purpose of trips. The questionnaire in this study is conducted by stated preference in order to discover the mode choice of Taipei residents, and using data to modeling the multinomial logit and nested logit model. The results revealed that total cost, total time, rain, temperature, gender, age and income have apparently effect on mode choice. Otherwise, people care about the main mode in commute trips and care about the access mode in leisure trips. Through the calculation of cross- elasticity, there are complementary relationship between bike-sharing system and public transportation in commute trips. In leisure trips, there are complementary relationship between bike-sharing system and metro, substitution relationship between bike-sharing system and bus. The results of policy simulations revealed that if there are metro price discount when raining help to gain the market share of public transportation. If there are bus price discount on weekdays or metro price discount on holidays when it raining help to gain the market share of bike-sharing system. Offer price discount for young people to use bike-sharing system, in commute trips may gain the market share of bike-sharing system as acess mode of public transportation , in leisure trips may gain the market share of bike-sharing system as main mode.

The bike-sharing systems(BSS) provide users with the ability to pick up and return bikes quickly from docking stations, and also be used to integrate different transportation systems in the city. BSS not only provides more convenient services, it also records rental information in the system. There has been some literature to explore the travel behavior and the factors that affect the users’ behavior of BSS. After inducting the rule of travel behavior of users based on operation data of BSS in Kaohsiung city (C-bike), this study establishes the simulation model with agent-based model. After simulating 10 days’ data, the results show that the simulation model can properly reflect the actual users' behavior. The difference in total amount in simulation results and actual situation is only 1.5%. In the simulation results, 92% and 70% of the docking stations are comparable to the actual pickup and return amount. The pattern of pickups and returns are also high correlated with actual situation. The simulation model built in this study can help planners to observe and understand the distribution and activity of public bicycle. Planners can also test different policy scenarios, and record and export the simulation records for further analysis and comparison.

The study aims at discussing the current state and discrepancy of resource using and sharing in New Taipei City’s elementary schools. The subjects of the research involve Presidents, Chiefs and teachers from public elementary schools in New Taipei City. Questionnaire was adopted as the main method along with the interviews with schools as supporting data. There are 646 questionnaires returned in total for valid samples. With the software SPSS for Windows 12.0, the data was analyzed through descriptive statistics and Paired-Samples T Test. Results show as following: I. The elementary schools using and sharing resources in New Taipei City are commonly carried out well. II. The resources using and sharing in New Taipei City’s elementary schools vary upon the location and the scale of the school. III. The elementary schools using and sharing resources in New Taipei City are effective. IV. The disparity of effectiveness upon resources using and sharing in New Taipei City’s elementary schools can be seen due to schools’ locations and scales. V. The biggest challenge that all new Taipei City’s elementary schools are facing in terms of resources using and sharing is the lack of manpower and resources. As the activities are mostly held at night time or weekends in terms of schools sharing resources with the communities, the lack of school manpower for support becomes a common problem. VI. Regardless of schools’ locations and the scales, the problems in terms of resource using and sharing that all New Taipei City’s elementary schools are facing are seemingly similar.

Information sharing has now become critically alert of disaster news spreading. The more faster the information is obtained, the disaster recovery will be done more briskly. Therefore, this study examines factors that influence twitter users in disaster information sharing. Most of the previous studies evaluated on virtual community, whereas in this study, we adjust on social media. We tested personal, environmental and information platform factors. In terms of personal and environmental factors, there a lot of research that has addressed the issues, while there are still plenty of them that are using information platforms as their main issues of literature. Google form collected the data from online survey. Three hundred and fifty data were collected, but only 257 data were valid. We used Structural Equation modeling (SEM) to analyze the data from online survey. The result suggests that personal outcome expectation and altruism from personal factors, as well as community identification from environmental factors, have significant effect on intention of disaster information sharing. However, the amount of sharing participant, frequency of sharing, and searching information do not have significant effect on disaster information sharing. Moreover, information platform also positively influences disaster information sharing. At last, the final result is the intention of disaster information sharing positively influences its behavior of Jakarta twitter users.

Middle school students are at the run-in period between children and adults period, changes of the physical edffect psychological needs and knowledge needs. With the coming of 12-year compulsory education policy, the teacher-student interaction mode has also been changed. One way mode that teachers teach and students learn amended, and it’s necessary to cultivate the information literacy of middle school students. To improve students’ information literacy do need the coordination and cooperation between the public libraries and the national middle school libraries. Both of the libraries can provide library and information services to the students on hardware part, and provide curriculum and teaching design or library instruction on software part. And both parts are the basis of information literacy. National middle school libraries service mainly on teachers and students, so the government funding and resources are indeed limited. The main target of public libraries is the entire population, and compared to school libraries, government funding and professional capacity are abundant. If middle school libraries and public libraries can share the resources with each other, and also implement the information literacy curriculum with spiral planning at the same time, the scholarly community can be created and middle school students can be cultivated with reading comprehension ability. This study investigate the resources sharing between national middle school libraries and public libraries of overseas areas, South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong and also three domestic areas including Taipei, New Taipei and Kaohsiung. Through the literature review of resource sharing between libraries, and compared it with the situation of keelung, a better future plan can be make. Although there is a Taiwan's first private public library in Keelung and it has historic location, the humid and rainy weather and the frontier location of Taipei City affecte the middle school students’ opportunities of outdoor activities. Therefore, national middle school libraries and public libraries have the responsibility to increase students' leisure activities places and meet the students need of reading. The results found that: (1) 40% national middle school libraries and the public libraries share community resources. (2) the main types of shared community resource is the speech of "about the writer." (3) the motivation and demand of community resources sharing between national middle school libraries and public libraries are very strong. At the end of this study, issues of the community resources sharing between national middle school libraries for follow-up study are suggested.

The advent of the knowledge economy makes the knowledge to become resources of individuals, and knowledge can be created by another knowledge. However, the conversion process of creating knowledge is the act of sharing and accessing knowledge. In recent years, many public sectors share public data to enhance performance, but what factors should make members to share knowledge? This research applies the theory of planned behavior and technology acceptance model to explore factors affecting knowledge-sharing behavior in the public sector. The research target is Kaohsiung City government. After path analysis, the research findings reveals that trust and identification do not significantly affect intertion and attitude toward knowledge sharing. Behavioral Subjectire norm is affected by the organization norm. Behavioral intention and attitude are affected by the organization norm, extrinsic reward, reciprocal relationships, enjoyment in helping others others, and information technology usage. According to the aforementioned findings, it is suggented that establishing knowledge sharing norm, providing fair and attractive reward systems, and enhanaing more communication among employees through information and communication technologies through information and communication technologies are critical issues for knowledge sharing in the public sectors.

This study is aimed to explore the status and the relationships among paternalistic leadership, trust and knowledge sharing for elementary schools in Tainan City. Firstly this paper presented the overview of literature review to summarize the related theories and studies. Thereafter, the approach adopted questionnaires and using stratified random sampling to investigate 400 samples that include teachers. Collecting data were analyzed by the statistical methods of descriptive statistics, T-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffé's method, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis. In conclusion, the results are as follows: 1. The view of primary school teachers on school principles about paternalistic leadership arrives middle high degree, among which “moral leadership” is the best. 2. The participants reveal that there is a good relationship on trust and the result shows that the colleague trust is significant. 3. The perception of principles’ paternalistic leadership is affected by position, school’s scale and its location. 4. There is a significant effect on organizational trust for the gender of participants. 5. There is a high correlation between the principles’ paternalistic leadership and the teachers’ trust. 6. The principles’ paternalistic leadership has a high correlation with the teachers’ knowledge sharing. 7. There is a high correlation between the teachers’ trust and knowledge sharing. 8. The predictive force of primary school teachers on school principles about paternalistic leadership on trust is best with “moral leadership”. And about knowledge-sharing is best with “benevolent leadership” The findings of this study provide some suggestions for competent authority, school’s administration and the future study.

Texte intégralEver since we as humans sat around fires in caves, we have been sharing stories in an attempt to understand life and the need to survive. Storytelling is an integral part of human experience. We define our lives in narrative form. It gives us a means to explain the inexplicable and understand our lives in the context of a greater whole. The increasing prevalence of technologies like cell phones, tablets, and laptops has lead to a phenomenon of disconnection between people in the physical dimension. Instead of communicating faceto-face, with all of our senses engaged, we rely on technology to interact with friends and share our stories. South Africa’s current political climate, and particularly the protests on University campuses across the country in the past year, has emphasised the idea that society is suffering from a lack of real communication. This research proposes that stories can create change in the built environment, through building design, in the same way that stories affect our personal beliefs and understanding. Thus the concept of narrative and memory and how it manifests itself in architectural design and discourse is explored. This report finds that nostalgia and phenomenology play a significant role in producing connections between people and the built environment and these theories must be employed to create strong narratives in architecture. Orange Grove, once a vibrant suburb along Louis Botha Avenue, has suffered from a lack of investment and development since the 1990s. Ultimately I employ perceptual and conceptual design philosophies to design a sustainable intervention within the already rich context of Orange Grove. The Story Exchange building design proposes that only through art, craft and open tactile interaction (that involves all the senses) - can one produce architecture that becomes a catalyst for the creative upliftment of the area and its community.

The purpose of the research was to evaluate the relationship between knowledge sharing and innovative instruction of elementary school teachers. To understand the correction between teachers’ knowledge sharing and innovative instruction, this study investigated the status and the differences in different background variables. The subjects were elementary school teachers in Tainan City. A questionnaire survey was adopted for this study. “ The questionnaire on the Status of Knowledge Sharing and Innovative Instruction among Elementary School Teachers” was designed as the instrument. Descriptive statistic, Pearson's Product-moment Correlation, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis were employed to analyze the data collected. The major findings of this study were summarized as below: 1. Knowledge sharing among elementary school teachers was found at upper medium level. 2. Innovative instruction among elementary school teachers was found at upper medium level. 3. The status of knowledge sharing among elementary school teachers varied under different variables. 4. The status of innovative instruction among elementary school teachers varied under different variables. 5. There was a significantly positive correlation between knowledge sharing and innovative instruction. 6. In terms of knowledge sharing, the content and the behavior of knowledge sharing were the predictive factors to innovative instruction. According to the conclusions, this study offered several suggestions for the reference of elementary school teachers and further studies.

Military education instructors work in a very busy atmosphere every day. Besides facing the pressure from school, they receive orders from the top as well as face all kinds of unexpected situations or problems from students. These all consider pressure points for military education instructors. Under a variety of pressure, improving self-knowledge and engaging in self-defense education are the focus for this research. The sample of this study is military education instructors in New Taipei City. Questionnaires were distributed for analysis. The questionnaire included 4 parts: background information, knowledge sharing, professional development, and co-opetition relationship. After the analysis, it was found that: 1.Knowledge sharing and work efficacy of military education instructors mostly put its attention on the chief instructors and major military instructor 2.Senior instructors have more patients on assisting students.

This work will try to bridge the real estate market to the world of information and communication technologies taking advantage of these to generate knowledge on this market. While there are many possibilities available to explore these two concepts, this project will use the available literature to gather insights on both and use them to develop a data model. This data model will be applied on the Portuguese real estate market, more specifically in the city of Lisbon and the districts of Oeiras, Amadora, Odivelas and Loures. It is aimed to understand in what way could the technological and communicational technologies that are nowadays accessible, bring benefits to its users in terms of speed, reliability, readability and convenience when consulting real estate information. It is expected that the search intensity can be increased while lowering its costs (time, opportunity) while also reducing information asymmetry. It will also be interesting to understand if the implementation of technological tools can act as a substitute or if they will be used as a complement of traditional methods in the real estate sector. This project is going to be applied to an actual real estate sector context.

Owing to new technological advances, structural economic reform, and trend of globalization, business model of the sharing economy has gained popularity. The changing global economy and its impact caused severe problems, e.g. without protection of legal rights, interests and safety of consumers, impact of industry, disrupt public order. Taiwan government is facing the ordeals of how to manage and get along with the sharing economy. For the purpose of providing policy advices of sharing economy development and management issue, realizing the opinion and attitude of New Taipei City citizens is necessary. The research adopted the Empirical Research Method, and collected the sample by interviewing adult population of citizens of New Taipei City in Taiwan. It analyzed the variables of demography, sociology, and political science, to discover New Taipei City citizens'' understanding and rating of both sharing economy and transportation sharing economy, user experience of sharing economy, and their expectation toward government with sharing economy issue. The paper discovered that citizens of New Taipei City is positive for sharing economy and agree with its environmental protection concept and convenience through new technology. It also proved the great marketing can assist the promotion of brands and services of sharing economy in New Taipei City. However, security and public order maintenance problems could be the main issue while development. In terms of policy, citizens considered government should participate in the development of sharing economy, but the policy should be adjusted in order to react to the new demand in the market. On the other hand, the urban-rural gap and condition of different areas also differs the demands of the new services, which leads to the business developing difficulty. Against the impact of new economy, government should enact relevant laws for different areas and conditions to solve local problems and provide assistance, and establish the new standard to accelerate business collaboration of new industry and the exiting one.

The rise of the so called “sharing-economy” that changed people’s life style has follow with the advance of science and technology. In the common logic of the sharing economy is its value proposition of economic gain. In contrast, differences lie in the distinct designs of the key process according to various levels of immediateness in the services. The environmental protection has been promoted in recent years. The government actively promotes the green transportation of smoke-free, carbon-free and low-pollution. Most of the major cities in Taiwan have implementation the Public Bicycle Rental System. Take the YouBike in Taipei city for instance, which is the unmanned rental system for 24 hours. The user can search the real-time information about the parking spots and the available bikes in each station by using the APP. Because the uncertainty of demand for the rental. It usually occur the situation of unbalance between supply and demand when the system is operating. In this study, using the reality rental data in Taipei City, to discuss the Public Bicycle Sharing System. We are going to input the reality rental data to Arena simulation software. Using Arena simulation to construct the model which is in line with the real rental station and to discuss the configuration of bicycles numbers, bike scheduling and the waiting time by users in each station.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the willingness to engage in and behaviors accompanying knowledge sharing among junior high school teachers. Teachers randomly selected from Taichung municipal junior high schools were the subjects. Questionnaires, namely “Questionnaires on willingness and behaviors of knowledge sharing among junior high school teachers in Taichung city”, were conducted for gathering data. 617 questionnaires were retrieved, and 609 questionnaires were effective. SPSS 12.0 for Windows was used to analyze data. The applied analysis methods were mean, standard deviation, frequency statistics, common factor analysis, t test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation. The results of the study were summarized as the followings: 1.A higher level of willingness was found among junior high school teachers in their knowledge sharing. 2.An average level of frequency was found among junior high school teachers in their knowledge sharing behaviors. 3.Significant differences could also be found in knowledge sharing willingness and behaviors among different variables of junior high school teachers. (1)The female junior high school teachers were found to have higher knowledge sharing willingness than the male teachers. However, no significant differences were found in knowledge sharing behaviors between genders. (2)No significant differences were found in both knowledge sharing willingness and behaviors among junior high school teachers of different ages. (3)No significant differences existed in both knowledge sharing willingness and behaviors among junior high school teachers of different seniorities. (4)In terms of knowledge sharing willingness, the teachers from junior high school over 49 classes perform better than the teachers from junior high schools with 25 to 48 classes. However, there were no significant differences in knowledge sharing behaviors among different school sizes. (5)No significant differences were found in both knowledge sharing willingness and behaviors among junior high school teachers of different teaching fields. 4.There was a positive correlation between knowledge sharing willingness and knowledge sharing behaviors. 5.In terms of the factors of influencing knowledge sharing willingness, the whole factors had an average level of influence among junior high school teachers. Based on the results, suggestions were proposed for the educational administration, junior high school's administrators organization, junior high school teachers, as well as for the future study.

A Study on the Willingness and Behaviors in Knowledge Sharing of Elementary School Principals In Taipei City Abstract The main purposes of this study were to understand the status quo of knowledge sharing willingness and behaviors among elementary school principals in Taipei City, the relationship between their sharing willingness and behaviors, as well as their approaches and difficulties in knowledge sharing. Meanwhile, it explored the influence of principal population variables and school ecology variables on knowledge sharing and willingness among the principals. Literature review and questionnaire survey are two main methods adopted in this study, and interview analysis is also as a supplementary tool. A census survey conducted by giving out forms titled “Questionnaire on Taipei City Elementary School Principals’ Knowledge Sharing Willingness and Behaviors” to principals of public elementary schools in Taipei City obtained up to 135 effective samples, 95% of them usable. The collected data were analyzed through multiple statistic methods such as frequency distribution, percentile, t-tests, typical correlation, parametric tests and etc. Then, seven elementary school principals were interviewed for further understanding of different viewpoints and expectation towards knowledge sharing. Results of the study are as follows: 1. A high level of awareness is found among elementary school principals in both their knowledge sharing willingness and sharing behaviors. 2. Their knowledge sharing willingness and behaviors influence on and interplay with one another. 3. No significant difference in knowledge sharing willingness is shown between different genders in the variable of elementary school principal population. 4. Significant difference in knowledge sharing willingness is shown among principals of different seniority in the variable of principal population. 5. No significant difference in knowledge willingness is shown among principals from schools of different age and size in the viable of school ecology. 6. No significant difference in knowledge sharing behaviors is shown among principal of different genders and seniority in the viable of elementary school principal population. 7. No significant difference in knowledge sharing behaviors is shown among principals from schools of different age and size. 8. Effective approaches adopted by elementary school principals in carrying out knowledge sharing are mostly through holding meetings in such forms as symposiums, seminars and others. Endless trivial chores in school impede the results of knowledge sharing. Finally, suggestions are made based on the above findings as reference for our supervising education administration agents, schools and principals in the job of promoting knowledge sharing. Enterprises are faced with the rapid economic globalization and knowledge-based development environment, the only constant innovation and the pursuit of better performance, in order to maintain competitive advantage. Implementation of innovative strategies must be through the knowledge management activities, enabling organizations to systematically acquire, create and integrate knowledge resources,and knowledge is to share the value created, only the sharing of knowledge to produce real value to the organization to improve organizational competitiveness. The knowledge management may say that is starts from the knowledge share, the organization promotes the knowledge management the biggest barrier here, to be able to attain the successful key finally also in this. Since the promotion of knowledge sharing is so important but also so difficult, therefore how to initiate organizes the member to have the knowledge share intention, and promotes the knowledge share behavior, finally achieves the knowledge share the result, becomes one quite importantly, and is worth the subject which discusses thoroughly. However, the knowledge sharing behavior and contrary to human nature, fear for their members will have expertise to share with others, it will threaten their position in the organization, resulting willingness to share is not high, so many organizations, knowledge management strategy has become failures. One of the reasons, in addition to these organizations rely too heavily on information technology, while ignoring the attitude of the members, but also affect the sharing behavior in important key factor. This research mainly in the discussion influence knowledge share intention correlation factor, first obtains the correlation theories basis after the literature discussion, proposed that the organizational commitment , the trusting relationship and the expected return three influencing factors, and take the Kaohsiung city military instructors in senior high school as the objects of study, discusses these factors with individual “the knowledge share manner” between relations, and examines “the knowledge share manner” regarding “the knowledge share intention” the influence. This research used convenience sampling methods of sample extraction, a total of 326 questionnaires sent, 276 valid questionnaires, the questionnaire return rate was 85%. After this study, multivariate data analysis methods to verify the dimensions of the research relationship. After analyzing the questionnaire data obtained the following conclusions: The organization commitment and the expected return to the knowledge share manner is not remarkable influence. The trusting relationship to the knowledge share manner is remarkable influence. The knowledge share manner will have to the knowledge share intention remarkable influence.

Knowledge sharing is a critical step for successful knowledge management. However, sharing knowledge not only requires time and effort but also reduces value or power in the public organization. Therefore, individual’s knowledge does not transform easily into organizational knowledge. The purpose of this study is to develop an understanding of the factors affecting the individual’s knowledge sharing behavior in the governmental context. The research model includes various constructs based on social exchange theory, social capital theory , and the theory of planned behavior .Hence, this research developed an integrated theoretical model and unveiled three sets of critical factors: psychological(extrinsic rewards, reciprocal relationships, enjoyment in helping others), organizational (identification ,trust , pro-sharing norm)and technological(information technology usage) that are believed to affect the knowledge sharing behaviors. Data collected from 524 employees in Taipei City Government were conducted to test the research model using the structural equation modeling (SEM) approach. The results of the study provide empirical support for the overall structure theorized in the research model. Knowledge sharing behavior was predicted by the employees’ intention towards knowledge sharing. Knowledge sharing intention in turn was predicted by employees’ attitude towards knowledge sharing, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control. The employees perceptions of reciprocal relationships, enjoyment in helping others and identification were positively associated with favorable attitude towards knowledge sharing. The perceptions of extrinsic rewards exerted a negative effect on the attitude. Organizational trust and pro-sharing norm positively influenced employees’ subjective norm. Additionally, information technology usage was positively associated with high levels of perceived behavioral control towards knowledge sharing. Based on the findings, the study indicates that an increased effort to encourage employees to participate knowledge sharing activities is associated with a positive social interaction culture. Specifically, reinforcing individual’s intrinsic motivation and creating an organizational context characterized by trust, identification and pro-sharing norm are likely to encourage both management and employees to socialize and interact frequently with each other by means of driving knowledge sharing intention. Finally, the study has implications for public manager and policy maker to formulate policies and appropriately to ensure the effective creation of a knowledge sharing culture.

Teachers play the important roles during the process of students’ growing and learning. To facilitate good education for students, teachers should be well educated, firstly, and retain fine characteristics for being a good teacher. An effective way for improving teachers well being is knowledge sharing among teachers. In this paper, the relationships between teacher’s well-being and knowledge sharing were investigated. The theory about well-being research include: uses and gratification theory, personality traits, social judgment theory, and dynamic equilibrium theory. Furthermore, the knowledge sharing theory explored in this thesis are definition of knowledge sharing, classification of knowledge kinds, and knowledge sharing theory. The sample space for this study is the junior high school teachers in Kaohsiung City, and two questionnaires are used to collect the required data. In this study, 472 effective samples were collected. The results of this study include: (1) The level of teachers’ well-being and knowledge-sharing is higher than mid-level. (2) The factor, years of working experience, obviously affects the degree of well-being perceived and knowledge-sharing effectiveness. (3) Teachers’ well being is obviously correlated with knowledge sharing between teachers.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship among Classroom Management, Knowledge Sharing and Virtual Community of Primary School Teachers in Taoyuan City. In this research, a questionnaire was conducted and the participants were formal primary school teachers in Taoyuan city. From a total 400 responses, 383 were effective responses (return rate 95.7%). The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple regressions. According to the results, the findings of the study were as follows: the elementary school teachers generally had high perceptions of classroom management effectiveness; the elementary school teachers generally had high perceptions of knowledge sharing; teachers have ability to operate computers with Internet and could share knowledge through Virtual Community. In addition, there were positive correlations between knowledge sharing and classroom management and teachers’ traits between knowledge sharing strategies and classroom management has mediation effect. According to the conclusions, the following suggestions are provided: To encourage teachers to participate web-based learning community positively and increase teacher’s interests in the participation by building a more attractive Virtual Community platform.

In addition to understand the status-quo of co-opetition , teachers’ knowledge sharing and teachers’ professional growth of junior high schools in Taichung city, this study intended to explore effects of co-opetition relationship and teachers’ knowledge sharing on teachers’ professional growth .By stratified random sampling method, 300 school teachers in Taichung city were selected as survey sample, and the number of the returned questionnaire was 287. Among them, 218 were valid ones, and the effective response rate was72.67%. SPSS for Windows was used to analyze data. The applied analysis methods were mean, standard deviation, frequency statistics, t test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation and Regression Analysis. The study then came to the conclusion that : 1. The condition of teachers’ knowledge sharing in junior high schools was better. 2. The condition of teachers’ professional growth in junior high schools was better. 3.Junior high school teachers have good co-opetition relationship in order to "competition-oriented" maximum. 4. An obvious positive relationship exists between the co-opetition relationship and the teachers’ knowledge sharing. 5. The better co-opetition relationship, the better professional growth of teachers. 6. The better knowledge sharing of teachers, the better professional growth of teachers. 7. Teachers who serve in small-size schools have better condition of co-opetition relationship ,knowledge sharing and professional development. 8. Co-opetition relationship and knowledge sharing of teachers can accelerate professional growth, especially competition-oriented of co-opetition relationship.

The research is aimed to understand the current situation of collaborative leadership and teacher’s knowledge sharing at elementary school in New Taipei City. The researcher has explored the perception of teachers with different demographic variables and environmental variables toward distributed leadership and teacher’s knowledge sharing behavior. Finally, the researcher has analyzed the relationship between collaborative leadership and teacher’s knowledge sharing, and also used collaborative leadership as a predictable variable to predict teacher’s knowledge sharing. For the purposes of this study, literature on collaborative leadership and knowledge sharing were reviewed. Questionnaires were employed to survey teachers of elementary schools in New Taipei City. The questionnaire survey was administered and used a questionnaire named “Questionnaire on collaborative leadership and teacher’s knowledge sharing at elementary schools in New Taipei City.” The survey targets at 700 teachers in 80 elementary schools in New Taipei City. The collected data was analyzed with statistical methods, including descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and stepwise multiple-regressions analysis. The results are as followed: 1. The current situation of collaborative leadership at elementary school in New Taipei City is good level, and of teacher’s knowledge sharing is at medium high level. 2. There are no significant difference for New Taipei City elementary schools teacher’s perception of collaborative leadership in terms of the education degree, and years of service. 3. There are significant differences for New Taipei City elementary schools teacher’s perception of collaborative leadership in terms of the gender, age, incumbent duty, school size, and school history. 4. There are no significant differences for New Taipei City elementary schools teacher’s knowledge sharing in terms of the years of service. 5. There are significant differences for New Taipei City elementary schools teacher’s knowledge sharing in terms of the gender, age, education degree, incumbent duty, school size, and school history. 6. Collaborative leadership and teacher’s knowledge sharing of elementary schools in New Taipei City have medium-high level of positive correlation. 7. Elementary schools teacher’s perception of the higher collaborative leadership can predict the more teacher’s knowledge sharing in New Taipei City. Finally, according to the research results, some suggestions were proposed for educational administrative agencies, elementary school principals, and future researchers.

Abstract Teachers play an important part in school education. With the trend of information technology, the Internet has become the best resource for teachers to transmit and share knowledge. This study aims to analyze how elementary school teachers in Tainan City use Internet resources to perform knowledge sharing behaviors. This study used a questionnaire survey for data collection, with elementary school teachers in Tainan City as the subjects. A total of 389 questionnaires were returned, and 363 samples were valid. Then, SPSS 19.0 was used to analyze the collected data. Statistical methods include descriptive statistics, average, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The findings of this study were summarized as follows. 1. The majority of teachers used “Yahoo!” as a portal site. 2. The Internet resource which teachers used most frequently was “e-mail.” 3. Teachers used Internet resources at work, especially the “search engines.” 4. There were significant differences in teachers’ knowledge sharing behaviors among elementary school teachers with different variables such as ages, positions, working experience, and the time of Internet use. 5. There were no significant differences in teachers’ knowledge sharing behaviors among elementary school teachers with different variables such as genders, educational levels, school size, school computer equipment, and the number of personal computers. Based on above findings, some suggestions for the authorities of educational administration, school units, elementary school teachers, and future researchers were proposed. Public Bicycle-Sharing System (PBS) has been developed for a decade in Taipei City. As the construction of the rental station has gradually become complete, it has become one of the public transport systems in Taipei City. Since the usage of PBS in outdoor environments, not only that, Taiwan has a high concentration of particulate matters (PM) in winter and spring. The particulate matters in the air easily enter the respiratory tract and blood vessels of the human body, which may cause physical discomfort or increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. In addition, the frequency of extreme weather in Taiwan has gradually increased in recent years. Does air quality and weather profile have an impact on the use of public bicycles? The study used Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Regression Analysis method to analyze the relationship between PBS rental behavior and weather and air quality from November, 2016 to October, 2017 in Taipei City. The results show that rainfall in the weather-related variables is significantly negatively correlated with the rental rate of PBS; temperature, wind speed and aerosol concentration have no significant effect.
