Résumé :

The evidence for misdirected quasars in the nuclei of powerful radio galaxies (PRG) is now solid: 1. strong perpendicular polarization of the UV continuum, produced by the scattering of light from the hidden nucleus, has been observed in 10 (out of 11) PRG with z > 0.7 (Cimatti et al. 1993); 2. polarized broad MgII2800 has been seen in 6 PRG (di Serego Alighieri et al. 1994, Antonucci et al. 1994), showing that the hidden nucleus is indeed a quasar. These findings are receiving authoritative confirmation from observations with the Keck telescope (Cimatti, Cohen and van Breugel in these Proceedings). Here I would like to concentrate on recent developments of our understanding of the unification between quasars and PRG.

When a FRII radio galaxy at z > 0.7 is observed in the optical, its continuum appears extended and aligned with the radio axis. This phenomenon occurs actually when the optical bands start to sample the rest-frame UV, and it was called alignment effect (McCarthy et al. 1987). The UV continuum of high z radio galaxies shows also strong linear polarization due to scattering of anisotropic radiation escaping from the obscured quasar nucleus (di Serego Alighieri, Cimatti & Fosbury 1994). However, the observations of the UV continuum have been concentrated mostly on high z radio galaxies, leaving open a main question : is the alignment effect an evolutionary phenomenon present only at high z, or is it simply a selection effect due to the K-correction ? In order to investigate the origin and evolution of the UV alignment effect, we have started a ground-based imaging and polarimetric survey for studying the UV continuum in FR II radio galaxies with 0.1 < z < 0.5. Depending on the redshift, the filters U and B can be used to sample the UV continuum free from strong emission lines, and in the same rest-frame spectral region observed in radio galaxies at higher redshift. The survey is in progress and here we present only our first results.

High redshift radio galaxies (HzRGs) are observable up to cosmological distances competitive with the most distant quasars. However, before using them as probes of galaxy evolution, it is crucial to separate the stellar and non-stellar components. One of the most striking properties of HzRGs is the alignment of the UV continuum with the axis of the radio source (alignment effect; McCarthy et al. 1987). However, the relative importance of the stellar and non-stellar radiation to the alignment effect is still unknown, although a significant fraction is recognized to come from scattering of anisotropic radiation emitted by the obscured nucleus, as expected in the unified model of powerful radio sources (di Serego Alighieri, Cimatti & Fosbury 1994). Spectropolarimetry is the most powerful technique to observe at the same time different radiation components, but the 4m class telescopes can reach a sufficient S/N ratio only on the few brightest objects. Therefore, in order to investigate the origin of the alignment effect and to test the validity of the unified model of powerful radio-loud AGN, we have started a program of optical spectropolarimetry of HzRGs with the W.M. Keck 10m telescope equipped with the Low Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (LRIS) in polarimetric mode.

Stellar populations of high redshift radio galaxies (HzRG) (z up to 4.2) are the oldest stellar systems known, that is the ones formed at the earliest cosmological epochs. Therefore they are the best objects for providing us with information about the epoch of galaxy formation. The information on the stellar populations in HzRG are obtained from the study of their Integrated Spectral Energy Distribution (ISED) which are gathered both from spectra and integrated magnitudes. The most common approach for the interpretation of colors and spectral features of the energy distribution of galaxies is the Evolutionary Population Synthesis (EPS), which has been introduced for the first time by Tinsley in 1972. EPS models have often been used in the past to interpret the ISED of HzRG (Chambers & Charlot 1990; Lilly & Longair 1984; di Serego Alighieri et al. 1994) in order to draw conclusions on the age of the stellar populations and therefore on the epoch of galaxy formation. The results are sometimes conflicting and a number of very recent EPS models have become available (Bressan et al. 1995; Bruzual & Charlot 1993; Buzzoni 1989; Guiderdoni & Rocca-Volmerange 1987): we are therefore analysing the differences between the various EPS models with the aim of assessing their suitability to study the stellar population at early epochs. The EPS models assume for stars a given Initial Mass Function(IMF) as well as a Star Formation Rate (SFR). Then one can compute the number of stars with given mass present in the galaxy as a function of time. The position of each star in the HR diagram is determined by means of the isochrones, which are calculated from stellar evolutionary models. The ISED of a galaxy is obtained from the superposition of the spectra of single stars obtained from a stellar spectral library. Thus these models describe the galaxy ISED as a function of the time, giving a complete evolutionary picture.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of facilities on customer satisfaction at Hotel Bukit Serelo Lahat, to determine and analyze the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at Hotel Bukit Serelo Lahat and to determine and analyze the effect of facilities and service quality together on hotel customer satisfaction. Serelo Lahat Hill.Design / methodology Primary data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 55 customers of Hotel Bukit Serelo Lahat. The data analysis technique used was the SPSS version 23.0 application, using data testing and statistical testing.Findings The results of data analysis on the variables studied, namely facilities and service quality indicate an influence on customer satisfaction at Hotel Bukit Serelo Lahat simultaneously and partially.

Résumé :

R. Shaul Serero (1566–1655) served as the chief rabbi of Fes during the first half of the seventeenth century. Serero repeatedly devoted his annual sermons on the Sabbath preceding Passover to clarifying various aspects of the concept of redemption, one of the main subjects of the Jewish-Christian polemic. A review of these sermons reveals that Serero found it necessary to examine and refute the Christian dogma on three separate occasions on the Sabbath before Passover, in 1603, 1607, and 1611. Serero adopted and applied arguments from the traditional Sephardic polemics literature but adapted, edited, and expanded these arguments to shape the most appropriate argument.

Róla és alkotásairól hatalmas mennyiségű írás, kritika és vele készült interjú jelent meg. Ha csak Kaán Zsuzsa Seregi című könyvét olvassuk, akkor is szinte teljes képet kapunk az alkotóról és műveiről. Most inkább olyan személyes történetekkel és visszaemlékezésekkel szeretnénk megismertetni a hallgatóságot, melyek talán sosem hangzottak el nyilvánosan. Volf Katalin felkérésére kerestem meg kollégákat, akiket ezekről a személyes és meghatározó pillanatokról kérdeztem. Szerencsére többen vállalták, hogy személyesen is beszélnek ezekről az emlékeikről és jelenlétükkel megtisztelik a konferenciát.

Résumé :

A pesquisa tem como objetivo mapear os rastros de oralidade pertencentes a uma comarca oral nas narrativas de Visconde de Taunay (1843-1899) e Hélio Serejo (1912-2007). A comarca oral é pautada nos estudos de Carlos Pacheco (1992), no qual se constatam marcas de uma cultura oral na ficção latino-americana. A ideia pachequeana é de que a ficção produzida na América Latina é firmada na oralidade e justificada historicamente pela cultura oral que a constitui. A comarca oral se constitui pelas etiquetas, normas e condutas sociais transmitidas oralmente, definindo o papel do indivíduo em relação ao grupo social a que pertence. O modo de contar dos narradores em Taunay e Serejo apontam os contextos do lugar de fala de cada um, bem como a ficcionalização da oralidade de um lócus específico: a região de fronteira do Brasil com o Paraguai. Com o narrador taunayniano verificou-se uma profusão de discursos que apontam a movência do autor em trânsito, ora dentro, ora fora da comarca, fazendo alternância de pronomes, num jogo de alteridade que faz sobressair o olhar pelo diferente, pelo novo, via estranhamento. Já no caso do narrador serejiano, há um diferencial: certo peso de carga afetiva devido ao forte traço da memória de pertencimento, já que o narrador extrai da sua vivência as vozes outrora auscultadas, conduzindo o registro escrito (ZUMTHOR, 1993).
The research aims to map the orality traces belonging to a comarca oral in Visconde de Taunay (1843-1899) and Hélio Serejo (1912-2007) narratives. La comarca oral is guided in Carlos Pacheco´s (1992) studies, in which exhibit marks of an oral culture in Latin American fiction. The pachequeana idea is that the fiction produced in Latin America is signed on orality and historically justified by the oral culture. La comarca oral is constituted by labels, norms and social behaviors transmitted orally, defining the role of the individual in relation to the social group to which he/she belongs. The narrator style of telling in Taunay and Serejo works point out the context of the place of speech of each one, as well as the fictionalization of orality of a specific locus: the border region between Brazil and Paraguay. With taunayniano narrator there was a profusion of speeches pointing to mouvence of the author in transit, sometimes inside, sometimes outside the region, making switching pronouns, an otherness game that brings out the look for different, the new, by estrangement. In the case of serejiano narrator, there is a difference: right weight emotional charge due to the strong trait of belonging memory, as the narrator draws the voices once auscultated from his experience, leading the written record (ZUMTHOR, 1993).

Le travail de recherche de cette thèse concerne l'étude de la production d'hydrogène par reformage catalytique dans le circuit de recyclage des gaz d'échappement (REGR) des véhicules essence. Cette technologie permet de réduire de manière significative la consommation en carburant et les émissions de polluants, sans changer radicalement les motorisations. Plusieurs catalyseurs, contenant 1wt% de Rh sur supports à base d'alumine dopée par de la cérine, Al(Cex) et/ou du baryum, AlBa(Cex) ou à base de zircone dopée par les oxydes de terres rares, ZLNY(Cex), entre autres, ont été caractérisés et évalués dans les conditions REGR à haute température (580°C), et à basse température (450°C). Les catalyseurs du type Rh(1wt%)/ZLNY(Cex) présentent le meilleur compromis entre activité et stabilité, le catalyseur Rh(1wt%)/ZLNY étant le plus sélectif pour la production d'hydrogène. A partir de la meilleur formulation catalytique, deux études fondamentales ont été réalisés dans les conditions REGR dans le but de comprendre le rôle des co-réactifs et des espèces de surface sur les performances et sur la désactivation du catalyseur, et d'établir le schéma réactionnel pour les principales réactions (vaporeformage, reformage à sec, et la formation de méthane) mises en jeu
This research work is devoted to the study of catalytic reforming of exhaust gas recirculation (REGR) for gasoline engines. The aim of this technology is to improve fuel economy and to reduce pollutant emissions, keeping practically the same engine. A lot of catalysts, containing 1wt% of Rh, supported on alumina doped by ceria, Al(Cex) and/or baryum, AlBa(Cex) or on zirconia doped by rare earth oxides ZLNY(Cex), were characterized and evaluated in REGR conditions for high (580°C) and l ow (450°C) temperatures. The Rh(1wt%)/ZLNY(Cex) catalysts present the best activity and/or stability, the Rh(1wt%)/ZLNY catalyst being the most selective for hydrogen production. From the best catalytic formulation, two fundamental studies were carried out in REGR conditions in order to understand the role of the co-reactants and the surface species on the catalyst performance and deactivation, and to determine the reaction scheme for the main reactions (steam reforming, dry reforming and methane formation)

Résumé :

The base of this work is analysis of Prokofiev´s piano compositions. It isn´t a scientific work. It´s rather analysis of form, melody and harmony in context with his others piano works. At chapter about surroundings dislocation generation of piano concertos I am based on the author´s testation a with him I try to find his ideas right in this work. Also I introduce the poem wich is inspired by the conceptus of this work, was written by poet Balmont. At the last chapter I tout about a view on Prokofiev like friend pianist, colleague, composer by the eyes his contemporaries both his students and teachers, colleagues, pianist, friends but aswell his enemy. TZhe greatest personalities like Neuhaus, Rostropovich, Oistrach remember him. Life´s facts I touch very too little with regard to quantity indeed more far specialist literature.

O presente estudo tem como objetivo geral investigar, em narrativas de Hélio Serejo (1912-2007), a maneira como a fronteira está inserida e as formas pelas quais se relacionam os sujeitos que passam a transitar na “fronteira abandonada” em tempo de pós-Guerra e ocupação territorial. Para tanto, selecionamos as seguintes obras do autor: Homens de aço: a luta nos ervais (2008), Vida de Erval (2008), Pelas Orilhas da Fronteira (2008), Caraí (2008), O Tereré que me inspira (2008), Pialando...no Más (2008), Carai Ervateiro (2008) e No Mundo Bruto dos Ervais (2008), uma vez que os contos, causos, crônicas, os textos inseridos nessas obras, deslocam-se, sobretudo, da/na fronteira Brasil – Paraguai e seus personagens reais/ficcionalizados vivem uma espécie de nomadismo dispersivo em uma zona de fronteira imaginária, entrecortada – mata adentro - pelos caminhos da Companhia Matte Larangeira (1877-1944). A possibilidade de analisar, nos vãos que se abrem, a partir do cruzar – contínuo e temporal – o sujeito fronteiriço, poderá levar-nos a reconhecer possíveis representações identitárias ainda pouco estudadas. Sustentará esta investigação, o enfoque teórico-crítico advindo dos Estudos Culturais tendo como referência os autores: Bhabha (2003), Hall (2003) Canclini (2003) e Achugar (2006), pois trataremos de uma temática que transita pelas relações entre literatura e aspecto de formação identitária. Defendemos que o fazer literário serejiano esteja no narrar aquilo que viu e ouviu, o que aconteceu e o que teria acontecido na lembrança e no resgate do esquecido. Estudar a obra de Hélio Serejo é uma forma de (re)descobrir aspectos de “posições de sujeitos” velados pela história oficial, ainda mais quando se trata de uma fronteira “onde o Brasil, já foi Paraguay”
The current study aimed at investigating through Helio Serejo´s narratives (1912-2007), the way border is inserted and the way by which subjects who transit in the “abandoned border” in times of postwar and territorial occupation. In order to do so, the following plays were selected: Homens de aço: a luta nos ervais (2008), Vida de Erval (2008), Pelas Orilhas da Fronteira (2008), Caraí (2008), O Tereré que me inspira (2008), Pialando...no Más (2008), Carai Ervateiro (2008) and No Mundo Bruto dos Ervais (2008), due to the tales, stories and chronics, texts inserted into these plays shift particularly in the borders of Brazil-Paraguay and their real and fiction characters experience a sort of dispersive nomandism in an imaginary border zone, – in the forest – by the paths of Matte Laranjeira company (1877-1944). The possibility of analyzing through the spaces, from the crossing – continuous and by the time – the border subject may lead us to recognize possible identity representations with few studies. The investigation lies on the critical theoretical approach based on the cultural studies: Bhabha (2003), Hall (2003) Canclini (2003) e Achugar (2006), once the main themes transit by the relationship between literature and the identity formation aspects. We argue that serejian literary work is in narrating what was seen and listened, what happened and what would have happened in the memory and in the forgiven revival. Studying Hélio Serejo play is a way of (re)descovering aspects of “subjects´positioning” hidden by official history, particularly when the “border Brazil was once Paraguay” is concerned

Estudar a obra de Hélio Serejo é uma forma de (re)descobrir aspectos de "posições de sujeitos" velados pela história oficial, ainda mais quando se trata de uma fronteira "onde o Brasil, já foi Paraguay"
Abstract: The current study aimed at investigating through Helio Serejo's narratives (1912-2007), the way border is inserted and the way by which subjects who transit in the "abandoned border" in times of postwar and territorial occupation. In order to do so, the following plays were selected: Homens de aço: a luta nos ervais (2008), Vida de Erval (2008), Pelas Orilhas da Fronteira (2008), Caraí (2008), O Tereré que me inspira (2008), Pialando...no Más (2008), Carai Ervateiro (2008) and No Mundo Bruto dos Ervais (2008), due to the tales, stories and chronics, texts inserted into these plays shift particularly in the borders of Brazil-Paraguay and their real and fiction characters experience a sort of dispersive nomandism in an imaginary border zone, - in the forest - by the paths of Matte Laranjeira company (1877-1944). The possibility of analyzing through the spaces, from the crossing - continuous and by the time - the border subject may lead us to recognize possible identity representations with few studies. The investigation lies on the critical theoretical approach based on the cultural studies: Bhabha (2003), Hall (2003) Canclini (2003) e Achugar (2006), once the main themes transit by the relationship between literature and the identity formation aspects. We argue that serejian literary work is in narrating what was seen and listened, what happened and what would have happened in the memory and in the forgiven revival. Studying Hélio Serejo play is a way of (re)descovering aspects of "subjects'positioning" hidden by official history, particularly when the "border Brazil was once Paraguay" is concerned

Résumé :

This thesis focuses on the novel of Sergio Fernandez Los peces. Given the linguistic and thematic complexity of this literary work, such approach is a mere effort to discover clues for an interpretation of it.
Working toward this goal, the first chapter of the thesis unfolds the search for origins of the secret doctrine of Israel at the beginning of the Christian era, focusing specifically on the symbolism of the fish, Clam's role, the white goddess's function, Gabriel's role as the embodiment of Jehovah and Beelzebub and the presence of the new religion following the weddings.
The second chapter talks about the aesthetic of repentance as formulated by Baltasar Gracian and present in the work of sor Juana Ines de la Cruz; the relationship between the latter and the narrator of Los peces, the conception of art as a deception of the senses, as well as the narrator's androgynous voice or voices.
Finally, the third chapter concentrates on the poetics of Fernandez's text. More concretely, the spirituality of the narrator and his or her relationship with the writer. The relationship between desire, language, and religion, and the analysis of space are also the focal point in this chapter.
The conclusion summarizes what was studied throughout the thesis and raise questions.

O TourIFRS é um projeto de ensino que busca proporcionar acesso a informações sobre o Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) – Câmpus Sertão – de uma maneira lúdica: através de uma espécie de jogo, que será disponibilizado no site da instituição. O problema, no qual o projeto se inspirou, é a falta de conhecimento que as pessoas têm das estruturas e setores do câmpus, dada a extensão e complexidade dele. Diante disso, o projeto tem o objetivo de desenvolver um site de apresentação do IFRS Câmpus Sertão para o público em geral, mas especialmente aqueles que desejam ingressar na instituição. O projeto foi motivado pela necessidade, agravada pela pandemia do COVID-19, de ter uma maneira de fácil acesso de conhecer o ambiente, sem precisar marcar horário de visita e ir fisicamente ao campus. O resultado esperado do projeto é fornecer um meio virtual que possibilite qualquer usuário conhecer as estruturas do campus através de equipamentos eletrônicos como computador, notebook, smartphone, etc por meio de uma espécie de jogo com imagens, texto e mapa. Para tanto, foi escolhida a ferramenta Twine para o desenvolvimento, já que ela permite a criação de uma história não-linear acessível via navegadores web. Além do desenvolvimento do website, foram adquiridas fotos e vídeos em alta qualidade do ambiente da instituição, que serão utilizadas na ferramenta, considerando características de responsividade e acessibilidade, e disponibilizadas de forma organizada para serem utilizadas em outros projetos. Para a criação das descrições dos ambientes, os alunos entraram em contato via e-mail com os servidores da instituição. O projeto está em fase de execução, contando com a estrutura principal de navegação concluída, as fotos e mapas parcialmente completas e a estilização e avaliação do site aguardando a finalização das descrições e fotos.

O uso de dispositivos inteligentes para as mais diversas atividades humanas fez emergir o conceito como IoT e também de IIoT quando estes dispositivos são aplicados a indústria. A gestão de identidades e segurança em ambientes IIoT tem limitações e especificidades que resultam em complexidade. O trabalho tem como objetivo identificar e estabelecer critérios que podem mensurar a aplicabilidade de uma abordagem de gestão de identidades em dispositivos aos cenários IIoT. Propõe-se uma análise de requisitos e da arquitetura em IIoT para a identificação de critérios, que posteriormente serão avaliados por experimentos para serem então estabelecidos como válidos.
