Remy, Isabelle Patricia. « Sport et politiques municipales : étude comparative des options idéologiques et des stratégies sportives de Saint-Denis et Neuilly-sur-Seine au cours du XXe siècle ». Paris 5, 2007. http://www.theses.fr/2007PA05H022.
Texte intégralSaint-Denis and Neuilly-sur-Seine, municipalities of Parisian suburbs, show their lasting antagonistic political obedience, through the means and ways of testing the reality of the concomitant and close connection that exists between a specific political ideology and the elaboration of sports strategies. The methodology used lies in a comparative analysis of documentary corpus based on municipal archives, allowing to show- over a century- the logics of the sports policy, their ruptures and continuity, while taking into account their particular goals, through their sociopolitical composition, their sports urban spaces and the offer of sporting and physical activities. The political reflexivity on the social field witnesses the emergence of an interventionist pattern for the communist town of Saint-Denis and a non-interventionist one for Neuilly-surSeine, higMy representative of right-wing liberalism
Tabutaud, Amandine. « Les genres à l'épreuve de la désindustrialisation : ouvrières de Seine-Saint-Denis et de Haute-Vienne (années 1950-2000) ». Electronic Thesis or Diss., université Paris-Saclay, 2023. http://www.theses.fr/2023UPASK012.
Texte intégralThe aim of this thesis is to examine the representations of deindustrialization through conflicts, public policies, and the experiences of women workers, based on gender.Ile-de-France and Limousin offer a new perspective to understand the process from a gender perspective, alongside the emblematic industrial basins hit by deindustrialization. By leaving the geographical areas usually studied which are characterized by their mono-industry and their male workforce, and by adopting a comparative approach, the plurality of the modes of deindustrialization is highlighted. They disrupt the industrial life of the spaces studied and clash with the lives of workers in general, and female workers in particular.Through the examination of the process of deindustrialization through female, mixed, and male factories linked to diversified sectors, both traditional and emerging in the early 1950s, a new reading grid was established. It is a complex phenomenon in its form, its temporality, its degree of visibility, the actors involved and the genre, which puts at a distance the representations generally show on the media or artistic scene of factory closures accompanied by their lot of layoffs. As a source of tension between employees, employers and intermediary bodies, deindustrialization is then systematically evoked as a sustainable economic process for some, as a temporary phenomenon for others, or even as a pretext. Thus, the use that is made of it by the actors and the ways in which it models the career paths reflect the changes of times. The thesis is interested in the effects that it has on workers' trajectories and what it creates as disorder in the professional and personal lives of these women. Feminized branches from the 1950s onwards were affected by the destruction of jobs in Seine-Saint-Denis and Haute-Vienne.If the State does not seem indifferent to the fate of women in society and at work, its position is weakened by economic degradation. The organization and sexual structuring between the industrial sectors is detrimental to them and persists during periods of unemployment. Gender inequalities are exacerbated by deindustrialization. In addition to job loss, dismissal also has repercussions on the intimate life and destabilizes workers

Texte intégralIn the Paris area, the algerian immigrants especially reside in the Seine-Saint-Denis department. The algerian immigration is old in Seine-Saint-Denis. In "afirst age" (1921-1946), the algerian immigration is weakly introduced in the north suburb of Paris. In "a second age" (1946-1976) the immigration flow explodes, particulary when wives and children arrive. At that time the algerian immigrants live in insalubrious accommodations, in furnished hotels or in group of huts. It's only during "the third age", from 1976 onwards, the algerian come today, the algerian immigration is growing old

Texte intégralTerritory of industry and immigration, Saint-Denis is one of the symbolic places of the "banlieue rouge" (red suburbs) of Paris. After 1945, the housing shortage happening in France is worsened in Saint-Denis by the mediocrity of the old housing stock and by a population growth which leads to the spreading of immigrants slums. The communist municipality makes housing construction a central axis of its social policy, therefore becoming one of the greatest HLM (social housing) municipal agencies of the parisian suburbs, managing about 9 000 apartments at the end of the 1970s. Managing such an agency and the induced social mutations pose challenges that can be observed in the local archives. Among those, the question of the housing of foreign or (post)colonial immigrants is taking on increasing importance from the 1960s. Still below 10 % in 1965, the proportion of foreign households housed by the municipal agency amounts to at least a quarter of the tenants in the 1980s. The acknowledgment of their local membership, if not even of their urban citizenship, is at stake and appears to be highly dependant on economic, social and institutionnal constraints which weigh on the managment of a HLM agency in a working class suburb. The logic of a gradual and conditionned municipal hospitality is first of all put in a difficult position by the dissymmetry between supply and demand on social housing. From the end of the 1960s, during significant urban planning operations, the question is seen from the perspective of the immigrant settlement and its repartition in the agglomeration. A logic of "tolerance threshold" to the immigrants which is the origin of discriminations then begins to take place. It is relative since the share of housed immigrants is still progressing. Nevertheless, the important budget crisis which is striking the HLM municipal agency of Saint-Denis from 1974, combined with an advanced desindustrialisation, contributes to a sustaining contortion on the ethno-racial question

Texte intégralSet up in Madagascar in 1929, the military french air force travelled around from Ivato, near Tananarive. Until the beginning of the '70, aircrafts of the armee de l'air performed thousands of varied missions : transport, air link, Search and Rescue. Some of them and their crews fought british / South African invaders in 1942 and others took a large part in the campaign against Madagascar! uprising in 1947-48. In 1973, because of the new political orientations in Tananarive, the french forces had to leave Madagascar. The base aerienne 181 was then transfered from Ivato to Saint-Denis-Gillot, Reunion island. In 1976, it adopted the name of tradition « Lieutenant Roland Garros ». Using only transport planes and helicopters, B. A. 181 airmen form the air component of the french military organization in the southern area of Indian ocean. Then, they greatly acted for the permanence of France's influence in this part of the World
Ceccarini, Patrizio. « Essai de formalisation dynamique de la cathédrale gothique : morphogénèse et modélisation de la Basilique Saint-Denis : les relations entre théologie, sciences et architecture au XIIIème siècle à Saint-Denis ». Paris, EHESS, 2001. http://www.theses.fr/2001EHES0129.
Texte intégralThe theoretical purpose of this thesis is the reconstruction of the cognitive universe of the gothic cathedrals' builders. Using processes different from those used in the study of the history of architecture, archeology, and that of technology, we consider the gothic artifact as the material product of meaningful actions. As such, the cathedral is viewed as a body of information embodied within the building material. Through the deconstruction of the porperties of the artifact with the help of theoretical method combining the science of language with logical mathematical processes, this approach allows for the reconstruction of the meaning of the original conception of the gothic architecture : the basilica of Saint-Denis. Relying on a series of historical documents -archives and ancient technical tools - and on an analysis of the physical plans of the building, one can devise a body of models capable of describing the morphogenesis of the artifact. As a system of meaning, geometry becomes the basis of the logical operation and the foundation of hermeneutics. With the help of the body of cognitive information communicated through geometry and through the phenomenological appraoch that bings it into focus, one finds not only the precise representation of the totality of the operations of the architectural process, but also the complex thought that brought it into being. The gothic morphological structure can be reduced to a complex geometrical entity : a cell-system the fractality of which enframes all the building's elements. Gothic architecture therefore acquires a new perspective : within the anthropological medieval context, it coheres with the intellectual, theological, and scientific context of the thirteenth century. Architecture may be considered an intermediary science. It is semiophysics, a qualitive science that allows for the understanding of the universe

Berné, Damien. « Saint-Denis. L'espace et la mémoire du XIIème au début du XVIème siècle ». Thesis, Paris 4, 2016. http://www.theses.fr/2016PA040022.
Texte intégralThe commemorative and liturgical functions of Saint-Denis influenced the abbey’s spatial configuration for centuries after construction of the core of the church ended in 1281. The addition of lateral chapels on the north side of the nave in 1320-1324, like the creation and movement of altars during the next two hundred years, resulted from the expansion of the abbey’s liturgical engagement beyond its primary responsibilities for the cult of Saint Denis and the commemoration of the kings of France. This study of the chaplaincies and anniversary services established between 1108 and the early sixteenth century casts light on the memory network that develops around the abbey during this period, but also the evolution of the abbey’s policies toward the laymen. From the second quarter of the 14th century onwards, the abbots and chapter try to control the foundations flow (including royal ones). Furthermore, the priests of the collegiate church of Saint-Paul located near the abbey as well as parishes enjoying Dyonisian immunity were gradually associated with services at the abbey’s chapels and thereby incorporated into the Dyonisian community. Focused on the services performed within the abbey church and the establishments immediately dependent on it, this study aims to reconstitute a geography of memory at Saint-Denis. It reveals that the services performed at the different altars were strictly controlled, particularly in the restricted area of the chevet. Therefore, apparently from the time of Abbot Suger, each claustral official of the abbey was generally associated with a specific altar in the radiating chapels. This exclusivity thus distinguished Saint-Denis from other similar establishments, providing yet another example of the uniqueness of the royal abbey
Bennezon, Hervé. « Un village à l'ombre de Paris : Montreuil sous Louis XIV ». Paris 13, 2005. http://www.theses.fr/2005PA131014.
Texte intégralThis dissertation describes the cultural influence of Paris on the surrounding countryside. Its purpose is to give answers to questions regarding the material and cultural environment of Montreuil-sous-Bois inhabitants under the reign of king Louis XIV. The study of the population helps determine to what extend the inhabitants of the village had adopted a way of life close to that of the urban population. The analysis of the different social groups is at the core of the research method used. The sources consist essentially of inventories after death, parish registries and solicitor's records of Montreuil
