Résumé :
AbstractHaydn's ‘recomposition’ of the recapitulation is well known, but this article proposes, against received wisdom, that Haydn composed as though following a rule in the recapitulations of fast sonata-form movements from the 1770s onwards. The article extends William E. Caplin's functional theory to the Haydn recapitulation in order to revive the ‘sonata principle’, restated and limited to fast movements in Haydn's instrumental cycles. It then lays out a typology of Haydn's recapitulatory strategies that unfold within the constraints of the sonata principle.

Résumé :
Despite differences in critical alignment, epistemological underpinnings, and reportorial coverage, studies of sonata forms nevertheless tend to share one feature: they devote the least amount of space to recapitulations. Two presuppositions might explain this neglect: (1) the recapitulation is an exact (or near-exact) restatement of the exposition’s thematic materials, and (2) it takes but one tonal alteration (or “adjustment”) of these materials to make a recapitulation conclude in the key in which it began. This article aims to examine the second of these presuppositions in hopes of painting a more complete and analytically adequate picture of actual practices. Its goals are, first, to give an idea of the range of strategies available to composers of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and, second, to show how familiarity with these strategies can open a space for new interpretations of formal drama and the plotting of narrative. The central analytic section of the article presents a taxonomy of six compositional strategies for making tonal alterations: alterations in silence, immediate alterations, thick alterations, multiple alterations, alterations without adjustment, and self-effacing alterations.

The purpose of this research is to answer the professionalism of the District Election Committee (PPK) in carrying out the adhoc district level recapitulation in carrying out the recapitulation at the sub-district level, in particular the follow-up to the witness's objection makes it possible for various problems that cannot be resolved in the recapitulation at the sub-district level, so that they arise again. at the district level. This study uses the main theory of electoral integrity from Pippa Norris. To explain KDP's professionalism, Gregorius Sahdan's theory of professionalism is used. To see the form of resolution of the witness' objection, the theory of conflict resolution from Spiegel, Novri Susan, and Ralf Dahrendorf will be used. The research findings show that the professionalism of KDP in the recapitulation at the sub-district level is very good in terms of regulatory capacity and implementative capacity. Judging from the administrative capacity, there are still several shortcomings due to reduced accuracy as a result of the very high workload and work intensity of KDP. In addition, the witness's objection in the recapitulation at the sub-district level had been properly accommodated by the PPK based on the provisions of the law and PKPU. The model that was used by the PPK to follow up on the objections of witnesses was discussion (consolidation), recommendations from the District Panwaslu (mediation), and through a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court (arbitration). These methods are applied in stages and conditionally.

Résumé :
Beginning in the 1890s, the nature study movement advocated direct contact with the natural world to develop in children an appreciation for natural history, the beginnings of scientific inquiry, aesthetic and spiritual interests as well as the motivation to conserve nature. Defense of nature study pedagogy came from the theory of recapitulation. Recapitulation held that as humans developed they repeated the evolutionary history of the human race. Children were thus thought to be like Indians: primitive people with an innate closeness to nature. The most popular proponent of these ideas was Ernest Thompson Seton, widely read author, illustrator, and founder of the nature study boys club, the Woodcraft Indians. Nature study advocates hoped that the theory of recapitulation would allow them to bridge the modern and romantic, antimodern tendencies in their movement. Despite an intense focus on premodern virtues, nature study and the Woodcraft Indians mostly served to ease the tensions and incongruities of modern life.

Most critical scholars have adopted some form of recapitulation theory to explain the chronological relationship between the seven seals, trumpets and bowls, but John was more interested in the chronological progression within the last days than is usually acknowledged. The seventh (or sixth) seal does not describe the ‘end’, but ushers in the Day of the Lord, which culminates in the seven bowls. While John does use the technique of recapitulation, he does not do so in the key texts usually adduced in support of the theory.

Résumé :
Organizational commitment is one of the most popular psychological construct which plays a vital role in predicting work behavior. There are many approaches to study organizational commitment, and one of them is an individual difference approach. Since organizational commitment is one kind of job attitudes, and personality traits might predispose individual to experience raised or lowered levels of his or her organizational commitment. In connection to the previous studies, this research is aimed to examine the association among big five personality traits (FFM with dimensions of the organizational commitment. A questionnaire was adopted from the previous studies and a total number of 150 responses were gathered from the lecturer/supervisors working in public universities located in Lahore, Pakistan. The results of the research demonstrated that there is a significant relationship between FFM and organizational commitment dimensions. Furthermore, the results of stepwise regression analyses showed that conscientiousness and openness to experience are positively associated with affective commitment. Openness to experience is negatively linked to continuance commitment, extroversion, and neuroticism is negatively associated with normative commitment.

Résumé :
The first movement of Haydn’s Op. 33, no. 5 string quartet famously opens with a closing gesture — a move from dominant to tonic chord accompanying a rising tetrachord. This opening puts the entire notion of closure into question and threatens to eviscerate the cadence of its efficacy. Moreover, Haydn ratchets up the tension created by the tetrachord motive’s omnipresence by altering its intervallic structure during the development in order to include an augmented second. What generically would be considered an almost banal cadential gesture becomes an agent of disruption that promises to derail the sense of completion required by tonal musical discourse.By undermining the efficacy of harmonic closure, Haydn seemingly jeopardized the closural function of the recapitulation, which, according to Charles Rosen, relies upon the resolution of large-scale dissonance. However, Haydn demonstrates that the recapitulation is often more than the resolution of large-scale dissonance. In this piece the recapitulation serves as the “resolution” of a motivic process that might have unraveled the coherence of the movement altogether. This paper provides an analysis of the movement with special focus on the process of recapitulation. In this understanding, the recapitulation is not simply a procedural moment of inevitable necessity but rather a stage within what might be referred to as a recapitulatory process that involves the entire piece. This investigation intersects with both Schenkerian insights and the concept of “rotation” within Hepokoski and Darcy’s sonata theory while having important implications with respect to our understanding of the role of the recapitulation.

Résumé :
This article establishes a dialogue between twenty-first-century music theory and historical modes of enquiry, adapting the new Formenlehre (Caplin, Hepokoski/Darcy) to serve a historically oriented hermeneutics. An analytical case study of the first movement of Haydn's Symphony No. 92 (1789) traces the changing functional meanings of the opening ‘caesura prolongation phrase’. The substance of the exposition consists largely of things functionally ‘before-the-beginning’ and ‘after-the-end’, while the recapitulation follows a logic of suspense and surprise, keeping the listener continually guessing. The analysis calls into question Hepokoski and Darcy's restriction of the mode of signification of sonata-form movements to the narration of human action. The primary mode of signification of the recapitulation is indexical: it stands as the effect of a human cause. This account matches late eighteenth-century concepts of ‘genius’.

A growing body of empirical evidence shows that occupational health is now more relevant than ever due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This review focuses on burnout, an occupational phenomenon that results from chronic stress in the workplace. After analyzing how burnout occurs and its different dimensions, the following aspects are discussed: (1) Description of the factors that can trigger burnout and the individual factors that have been proposed to modulate it, (2) identification of the effects that burnout generates at both individual and organizational levels, (3) presentation of the main actions that can be used to prevent and/or reduce burnout, and (4) recapitulation of the main tools that have been developed so far to measure burnout, both from a generic perspective or applied to specific occupations. Furthermore, this review summarizes the main contributions of the papers that comprise the Special Issue on “Occupational Stress and Health: Psychological Burden and Burnout”, which represent an advance in the theoretical and practical understanding of burnout.

William of Ockham is often thought to be the medieval progenitor of divine command theory (hereafter DCT). This paper contends that the origin of a thoroughgoing and fully reductive DCT position is perhaps more appropriately laid at the feet of Andrew of Neufchateau. We begin with a brief recapitulation of an interpretive dispute surrounding Ockham in order to highlight how there is enough ambiguity in his work about the metaphysical foundations of morality to warrant suspicion about whether he actually stands at the origin of DCT. We then show how all such ambiguity is jettisoned in the work of Andrew, who explicitly rejects a position similar to one plausibly attributable to Ockham and also articulates a fully reductive DCT.

Abstract The Mechanical Springs act has developed into electric spring (ES). The efficient law developed by Hooke’s, has been upraised with the new scientific application which pays vital role in this modern society. The main function of this highly new grid technology provides distributed energy storage, voltage regulation, amplify the power quality and stability in a highly and reliable way. So the improvised control scheme has been assist to open new and different avenues to utilize the electric spring to greater extent. Electric Spring is new and innovative concept by which modern society is able to renew natural energy in easy way. Power match between the generation facet as well as the demand facet will be effectively relieved. This theory transforms many non- critical loads with smart loads in the latest century that have automatically following power generation. It is a novel control approach which is needed in the new future smart grid. The previous concept of output voltage control turns into new one that is input voltage control which is based on reactive power to emphasize this work. Because of the rise in the growth of smart grids, micro grids and RESs, it seems to be observed that ES has been growing in popularity for the past few years. It is a form of power system stability solution and it will be ultimate demand side management which is ready to provide stability solutions.

The social cooperative is one the newest organizational-legal forms of social enterprise. Its growth is caused by many determinants. One of them is the necessity of the prevention of social exclusion. Social cooperatives’ exceptionality is reflected in simultaneous realization of economic and social purposes but social goals owns the preference character. The paper is composed of three parts. Its first part contains deliberations about the concept itself and objectives of the social cooperative. They are presented against a wider background of human and social capital creation by enterprises. The second part deals with social and economic characteristics of the social cooperative. Finally, the third part contains fragmentary findings of empirical studies focused on the operation of social cooperatives in Poland. These findings cannot be treated, however, as sufficient to consider them a satisfactory recapitulation, and for this reason they should be treated as a preliminary diagnosis of analyzed problems accompanying the operation of social cooperatives in Poland.

AbstractMy paper sets out to demonstrate that Weber's ideal-typical theory of concept formation, subject to certain modifications, is compatible with the principles of philosophical hermeneutics and is therefore a valuable strategy of concept formation for interpretive historical inquiry. The essay begins with a brief recapitulation of the philosophical-hermeneutic approach to the human sciences. I then chart out the affinities as well as the discrepancies between philosophical hermeneutics and Weber's theory of the ideal type. Against this backdrop, I proceed to offer a number of correctives and additions to Weber's theory so as to tighten its fit with philosophical hermeneutics. First, I argue that the ideal type's proper logic of concept formation is a logic of significance rather than a logic of commonality. Second, I claim that the relationship between the various empirical cases to which a given ideal type is (or can be) applied is a Wittgensteinian relationship of family resemblance. Finally, I present two main kinds of epistemological functions that ideal types can fulfill within the framework of historical inquiry: argumentative and orientational-clarificatory.

Drawing on scientific theories of racial supremacy and efforts by Western nations to develop uncivilized races, preeminent psychologist G. Stanley Hall proposed that the bio-psychological development of children recapitulated the ancient history of mankind. Utilizing Hall’s theory, US youth organizations designed programs for young people to engage corresponding sociological stages. Using archival sources, I document how Hall’s theory, and the “playing Indian” programs established from it, secured settler colonialism by marginalizing Indigenous cultures, governance, laws and ideologies and positioning tribal societies as primitive and childlike relics of the past destined to be replaced by modern man and nation. I then introduce the specter of recapitulation and how these ideas continue to harm Indigenous communities, and exponentially harm Indigenous youth. Finally, using Ermine’s concept of ethical space, I conclude by exploring the space between knowledge systems about youth and presenting possibilities for decolonizing youth development and reimagining youthwork supportive of Indigenous youth futures.

Résumé :
Abstract In recent decades, indeterminate states of cultural identity in both individuals and nations have resulted from cross-cultural migrations and the resistance of host nations to critically re-evaluate traditional cultural complexes and welcome new influences. Jung’s theory of individuation, Neumann’s centroversion and Gebser’s integrality provide a new foundation in consciousness for re-evaluating both individual and national cultural identities. In terms of the development and education of children, the two common threads in these three theories are individuation and recapitulation theory. Individuation, re-imagined by Neumann as centroversion, parallels Gebser’s concept of integrality and provides a mediating foundation for comparing individuation and integrality. Both concepts are compared in terms of the first phase of the individuation process, characterized by the development and education of the child. The objective is to achieve an individuated-integral, spiritualized personality in the first half of life so that the spiritually mature adult can contribute to an evolved human consciousness and global cultural identity in the second half of life.

The doctrine of Adam and Eve as prototypes of New Adam and New Eve (the so-called theory of recapitulation) was first encountered in the epistles of the apostle Paul. Revealing the main feature of this teaching, the supreme apostle reports that the disobedience and sin that Adam and Eve committed were corrected by New Adam and New Eve (see: Rom. 5, 14-15). As a result, instead of the death of Adam and Eve and their descendants (by bodily birth), humanity received immortality, starting with New Adam and New Eve and their descendants (by spiritual birth). Subsequently, the pre-nicene christian writers, for example, Irenaeus of Lyon, Tertullian and Victorinus of Poetovio, resorted to the doctrine of Adam and Eve as prototypes of New Adam and New Eve. Developing the theory of recapitulation, Irenaeus of Lyon in his works — «Against heresies» and «Proof of the apostolic sermon» — used the epistles of the apostle Paul and the typological method of interpreting Holy Scripture. The saint of Lyon taught, first, that on that day (that is on friday), on which Adam was born, New Adam, or the Lord Jesus Christ, was born; secondly, on that day (that is on saturday), on which Adam violated the only commandment of God (see: Gen. 2, 16-17), the incarnate Son of God suffered. In addition, what the virgin Eve did not fulfill, being disobedient, since she ate the forbidden fruit, the Virgin Mary did, being obedient, since she gave birth to the Lord Jesus Christ. Following tradition in the presentation of the theory of cancer-capitulation, Tertullian in his treatise «On the flesh of Christ» uses the epistles of the apostle Paul, the works of Irenaeus of Lyon and the typological-mysterious method of interpreting Holy Scripture. The first latin theologian in his work resorted to analogies: the first is an uncultivated land, that is, since the first Adam was created from an uncultivated earth — the Second Adam was also created from an uncultivated earth, or was born from the Blessed Virgin Mary; the second — the heard word, that is, because through the heard word the first Eve sinned — the second Eve also through the heard word did not sin, or became the cause of the salvation of the entire human race. Developing the theory of recapitulation, Victorinus of Poetovio in his works — «On the сreation of the world» and «On the life of Christ» — relied on the epistles of the apostle Paul, the works of Irenaeus of Lyon and the typological method of interpreting Holy Scripture. The saint of Poetovio taught, first, that on that day (that is on friday), on which Adam was born, the incarnate Son of God was born; secondly, on that day (that is on saturday), on which Adam and Eve violated the only commandment of God (see: Gen. 2, 16-17), the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary took place and the Lord Jesus Christ suffered; and, thirdly, on that day (that is on the resurrection), on which God the Father and the Son of God created light, the conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary took place, the incarnate Son of God rose from the dead and the second time He will come to earth to judge all human genus.

Résumé :
Abstract Motivation The accuracy and success rate of de novo protein design remain limited, mainly due to the parameter over-fitting of current energy functions and their inability to discriminate incorrect designs from correct designs. Results We developed an extended energy function, EvoEF2, for efficient de novo protein sequence design, based on a previously proposed physical energy function, EvoEF. Remarkably, EvoEF2 recovered 32.5%, 47.9% and 22.3% of all, core and surface residues for 148 test monomers, and was generally applicable to protein–protein interaction design, as it recapitulated 30.9%, 42.4%, 31.3% and 21.4% of all, core, interface and surface residues for 88 test dimers, significantly outperforming EvoEF on the native sequence recapitulation. We further used I-TASSER to evaluate the foldability of the 148 designed monomer sequences, where all of them were predicted to fold into structures with high fold- and atomic-level similarity to their corresponding native structures, as demonstrated by the fact that 87.8% of the predicted structures shared a root-mean-square-deviation less than 2 Å to their native counterparts. The study also demonstrated that the usefulness of physical energy functions is highly correlated with the parameter optimization processes, and EvoEF2, with parameters optimized using sequence recapitulation, is more suitable for computational protein sequence design than EvoEF, which was optimized on thermodynamic mutation data. Availability and implementation The source code of EvoEF2 and the benchmark datasets are freely available at https://zhanglab.ccmb.med.umich.edu/EvoEF. Résumé :
Although Christian orthodoxy has never required the adoption of one particular theory of atonement, Reformed and evangelical proponents of penal substitution (PSA) insist on its pivotal role. It is argued that the roots of this thinking lie in Enlightenment epistemology and Modern thought, corresponding to the advent of evangelicalism. PSA’s claims to be the controlling understanding are difficult to affirm on the biblical evidence and, problematically today, its paradigm of law, justice and punishment derives from pre- and early-modern eras. The ‘kaleidoscopic’ view offers a broader biblical perspective on the nature of both ‘the problem’ and ‘the solution’ and is more accessible to post-Modern thought forms. For the sake of evangelical mission, however, seeking after synthesis is encouraged, which might be explored through a renewed centre-point in ‘recapitulation/interchange’ or ‘covenant’ imagery.

Résumé :
In this review essay, Jennifer Kiefer Fenton examines Marilyn Fischer’s first of a planned 3-volume project on the philosophy of Jane Addams. Fischer’s volume on Jane Addams’s Evoutionary Theorizing brings close attention to source materials that Addams used for her classic work, Democracy and Social Ethics. As a result, Fischer is able to demonstrate that Addams was deeply engaged with social and ethical concepts that were undergoing transformation in the wake of Darwin’s evolutionary theory. Fenton’s review of Fischer’s volume argues that readers will find new groundworks for understanding why Addams resisted individualistic morality and preferred to use terms like association, cooperation, perplexity, propinquity, motives, sympathy, social ethics, and of course, democracy. In reply to Fenton’s review, Fischer affirms key findings and describes historical reasons why a more coherent recapitulation of Addams’s evolutionary method of ethical deliberation would be difficult to achieve.

AbstractIn order to consider the question of whether empire is a subject for philosophy, I do three things. I sketch an original typology of three types of state, which I call polis, imperium and cosmopolis, in order to show that the second is an important philosophical conception which lies behind the terminology of empire and imperialism. I also consider modern theories of empire and imperialism in order to indicate some of their limitations as theories. And finally I indicate that it is important even for philosophers to recognise that all imperial terminology emerges out of a very complicated history in which the concept of imperium has been extended and distorted in meaning, so that, at best, any good theory of empire or imperialism can only be some sort of recapitulation of that history. Neither the second nor the third of these claims undermines the claim of imperium to be a concept of the state which is of great political and philosophical significance.

Résumé :
Phenomenology has been well-received in pedagogy from the very beginning. With direct reference to Husserl, Aloys Fischer calls for a Descriptive Pedagogy. Only on the basis of a close description of educational processes similar to the phenomenological reduction can the educational sciences rediscover their actual subject matter. In this article the author traces the development of phenomenological thought in educational theory with a special focus on the notions of corporeality and negativity. As a necessary condition of perception in general, corporeality constitutes an important factor in the structural being-to-the-world of the human being. Apart from being able to sense its surroundings the body can also be perceived as part of these surroundings. Due to this double role, the subject opens up to foreign influences and negativity. Thus, the other plays an important role in the constitution of the identity of the subject. Through corporeality, a sphere of intersubjectivity is opened up. A recapitulation of Käte Meyer-Drawe’s Pedagogy of Inter-Subjectivity and Wilfried Lippitz’ Theory of Bildung and Alterity shows how these thoughts can be made useful for pedagogical discussion. Hereby, sociality and alterity prove to be foundational categories for educational settings in general. Finally, the author gives an outlook on current developments in phenomenological pedagogy.

Résumé :
The article examines the historical dynamics of the theoretical and methodological approaches to the essence of play and their significance in modern scholarship and culture. The role of play in the philosophy of ancient times is highlighted. Classical playing theories are presented: Friedrich Schiller’s and Herbert Spencer’s theories of surplus forces, Richard Lazarus’ theory of recuperation, Karl Groos’ theory of exercise and G. Stanley Hall’s theory of recapitulation. Play (as a way to achieve pleasure) is examined through Karl Bühler’s theory. We pay attention to Freud’s psychodynamic theory in the context of understanding play, as well as the views of Erickson and Winnicott. Bateson’s metacommunicative theory is singled out separately. The theory of cognitive development by Piaget and Vygotsky pays special attention to the consideration of approaches to the understanding of play. The role of play in the context of pedagogical, cultural, and anthropological research is presented. Due to the analysis of the presented theories, we made the conclusion about the role of play in present-day culture. The study aims to find out the meaning of play in the representation of modern youth. To solve the tasks set, we used the sociological research method. As a result, we surveyed the young people of the city. This survey allowed us to understand the place of play in modern young people’s lives and reveal its attitude to gaming activities. With the help of a survey, we identified such essential functions of play as relaxation and entertainment. The least important of these was the psycho-technical function. Computer and desktop games were recognized as the most popular types of play among modern young people. The least interest among respondents is caused by such a type of play as gambling. This work is only an initial stage in the study. We plan to continue the study on a representative sample.

Today many political parties use new media, the internet, as their political communication channel. For young people, the internet serves as a dominant public space. Since young voters as millennial generation have great potential to increase votes, many political parties convey their political messages through new media used by millennial generation. This research is intended to see and study the influence of political messages in new media on political awareness and its impact on political participants of millennial generation. This research uses Stimulus Organism Response (S-O-R) theory as main theory, McQuail’s mass communication theory, and theory or concept of political awareness, political participation and new media as well as millennial generation. This research uses quantitative approaches with a survey and questionnaire method as a means of collecting data. The millennial generation referred to in this research is younger generation aged between 17 and 37 years and lives in the Special Capital Province of Jakarta (DKI Jakarta). Based on the recapitulation of final voter lists for the 2018 general election, the number of voters aged between 17 and 37 years reaches about 2,885,000. The technique of determining the sample size uses Slovin’s formula, with the margin of error reaching 5% so that the number of samples is 400. Meanwhile, the technique of sampling uses proportional sampling and data analysis technique uses path analysis. The results of the research show that political messages in new media have direct and indirect influences on the political participation of millennial generation.

Résumé :
AbstractIt is generally accepted that the first speech of Moses in Deuteronomy (i 1-iv 40) is not of one piece, and that a clear distinction needs to be recognized between the rhetorical parenesis of chapter iv and the narrative recapitulation in chapters i-iii. This analysis has even proved determinative for scholars interested in the final form of the biblical text, despite the recognition that the chapters are portrayed canonically as Moses's first speech. A lack of substantive thematic connections between the two parts of the speech prevents any attempt to trace unity across the whole. This article argues that the consensus on the literary history of these chapters may be more problematic than commonly thought. Further, it is proposed that common to both the narrative and the parenetic sections of Moses's first speech are the complex interrelationship between the themes of divine presence, human obedience, election and the land.

Résumé :
AbstractThe ongoing debate on the literary structure of the Apocalypse has invoked to varying degrees the major contributions of A. Yarbro Collins, E. Schüssler Fiorenza, and J. Lambrecht. These have generally argued for an outline based primarily on a septenary pattern (Yarbro Collins), a form-content configuration pattern (Schüssler Fiorenza), or a progressive recapitulation pattern (Lambrecht). Yet few have recognized that these patterns do not necessarily preclude one another and that all three of them pertain to the unique style of the author which a discernment of his structure cannot do without. Taking these three patterns as its starting point, this article would further argue that although largely overlooked, the oralauricular setting of the book and the climactic character of its final New Jerusalem vision are just as critical to a discernment of the author's structure. The resulting blueprint is then verified by means of its transitions, symmetry, and centre.

Palavras-chave: Teoria da aglomeração, teoria do agenciamento, teoria da urbanização planetária, urbanismo pós-colonial, teoria urbanaABSTRACTUrban studies today is marked by many active debates. In an earlier paper, we addressed some of these debates by proposing a foundational concept of urbanisation and urban form as a way of identifying a common language for urban research. In the present paper we provide a brief recapitulation of that framework. We then use this preliminary material as background to a critique of three currently influential versions of urban analysis, namely, postcolonial urban theory, assemblage theoretic approaches and planetary urbanism. We evaluate each of these versions in turn and find them seriously wanting as statements about urban realities. We criticise (a) postcolonial urban theory for its particularism and its insistence on the provincialisation of knowledge, (b) assemblage theoretic approaches for their indeterminacy and eclecticism and (c) planetary urbanism for its radical devaluation of the forces of agglomeration and nodality in urban-economic geography. Keywords: agglomeration theory, assemblage theory, planetary urbanisation theory, post-colonial urbanism, urban theory.

Résumé :
That Sophocles’ Oedipus Rex is concerned with childhood is something of a truism, but there are ways in which this holds true that go beyond its contribution to the Freudian theory of infantile sexuality. The riddle posed by the sphinx, whose solving cements Oedipus’ incestuous marriage, foregrounds infancy and its similarities to and differences from other life stages. More than that, it illustrates a difference between humans (whose number of feet changes) and other animals via a recapitulationist perspective that summarises the evolution of the human in one individual's life. However, I argue that, rather than foregrounding childhood, the play explores a peculiar trait of human infancy: neoteny. While this biological term refers to the retention of juvenile characteristics into adulthood, it has been critically deployed not only to suggest that humans are neotenic because their adult state after sexual maturation resembles the young of primates, but also that this resemblance stems from a premature birth and a prolonged, helpless infancy. I read the play as an intervention on the logic of the riddle that opposes neoteny to recapitulation. In the play, the difference between begetting (φύω, phuō) and rearing (τρέφω, trephō) is constantly worked over through the exploration of the difference between biological and adoptive fathers, between nature and nurture, which lays bare the conceptual work of neoteny.

The driving license administration service system is a special service provided by Nasional Police to people who want to make a SIM. This service system can be done online. The current application has made it a lot easier in the process of making up the SIM card production. However, there are some problems related to internal reports that must be reported because the service is not yet available in an existing application, so some recapitulation processes are still done conventionally and technical constraints on the server network. This study aims to create a service management information system application (SIMPEL SIM) that can provide solutions to internal reporting and server network technical constraints. The method used software development is waterflow. This application handles the printing of bank payment receipts automatically, granting the applicant's registration number automatically, printing the SIM application form on the form provided. Verification of the completeness of the file, validation of the score of the theory test, practice 1 and practice 2, validation of sim issuance and printing of temporary sim numbers if there is a technical problem in the existing network server. The use of the SIMPEL SIM application makes it easy to recapitulate internal reporting and can improve public services.

Résumé :
Abstract This essay provides a concept-history, a close examination, and a testing of the much invoked “sonata principle” (Edward T Cone, 1967-68), while also introducing a new, contrasting mode of analysis (“Sonata Theory”) for sonata-form compositions from the decades around 1800. Within these compositions it was a common expectation that (nontonic) secondary- and closing-material from the exposition would normally be restated in the tonic in the corresponding place in the recapitulation. In mid- and late-twentieth-century English-language analysis (in response to shifting analytical paradigms), this expectation came to be inflated into differing recastings of a much freer, more encompassing “sonata principle” that, at least initially, was proposed to be the “unifying [and] underlying …… principle for the Classical style.” Some of the attractions of this idea included its claims to midcentury academic sophistication, its protean flexibility, and its ability to provide quick solutions to otherwise “difficult” moments within highly regarded compositions. Anticipated by the caveats of other writers, this article calls attention to the principle's limitations and the ways in which it has been imprecisely laid out or misapplied in influential writing. In a few comparative analyses I also present aspects of a more hermeneutically productive mode of analytical questioning “beyond the sonata principle.”
