Résumé :
Granting a credit product has always been at the heart of banking. Simultaneously, banks are obligated to assess the borrower’s credit risk. Apart from creditworthiness, to grant a credit product, banks are using credit scoring more and more often. Scoring models, which are an essential part of credit scoring, are being developed in order to select those clients who will repay their debt. For lenders, high effectiveness of selection based on the scoring model is the primary attribute, so it is crucial to gauge its statistical quality. Several textbooks regarding assessing statistical quality of scoring models are available, there is however no full consistency between names and definitions of particular measures. In this article, the most common statistical measures for assessing quality of scoring models, such as the pseudo Gini index, Kolmogorov‑Smirnov statistic, and concentration curve are reviewed and their statistical characteristics are discussed. Furthermore, the author proposes the application of the well‑known distribution similarity index as a measure of discriminatory power of scoring models. The author also attempts to standardise names and formulas for particular measures in order to finally contrast them in a comparative analysis of credit scoring models.

Résumé :
ABSTRACT Background Diet quality indexes, including the Healthy Eating Index, assess diets based on usual dietary intakes and a scoring function. Nearly all diet quality indexes use scoring functions that have floors and ceilings, thereby truncating the scores and losing information about intakes outside the scoring range. This score truncation has 2 important impacts: 1) the index does not reflect all intakes; and 2) the assumption that measurement error in intake reporting has a neutral impact on the diet quality score cannot be upheld. Objectives Our main objective was to devise new diet quality scoring functions that eliminate truncation and its attendant problems. Methods Seven desirable properties of a new scoring function were identified: 1) avoid truncations in component scoring to prevent information loss and to provide scoring sensitivity in the currently truncated regions; 2) reduce dependency on the accuracy of dietary standards; 3) minimize measurement error bias and subsequent misclassification; 4) relate plausibly to biological processes; 5) possess desirable mathematical and statistical properties; 6) have simple representations that are easy to calculate and add minimum artifacts of their own; and 7) otherwise closely mimic existing scoring functions. Results The recommended replacement for piecewise-linear scoring is a family of scoring functions based on exponentials. For components where higher intakes are better, the function is a single exponential. For components where lower intakes are better, the function is a concave-convex mirrored pair of exponentials. The proposed exponential scoring functions have all 7 desired properties. Conclusions The proposed exponential scoring functions will improve the usefulness of dietary scoring indexes by eliminating truncations. Compared to existing scoring functions, the use of exponentials makes the scores more inclusive of very high and very low intakes, reduces measurement error bias, and is less sensitive to the exact placement of the scoring standards.

Résumé :
Assessment of interpreting quality is a ubiquitous social practice in the interpreting industry and academia. In this article, we focus on both psychometric and social dimensions of assessment practice, and analyse two major assessment paradigms, namely, human rater scoring and automatic machine scoring. Regarding human scoring, we describe five specific methods, including atomistic scoring, questionnaire-based scoring, multi-methods scoring, rubric scoring, and ranking, and critically analyse their respective strengths and weaknesses. In terms of automatic scoring, we highlight four assessment approaches that have been researched and operationalised in cognate disciplines and interpreting studies, including automatic assessment based on temporal variables, linguistic/surface features, machine translation metrics, and quality estimation methodology. Finally, we problematise the socio-technological tension between these two paradigms and envisage human–machine collaboration to produce psychometrically sound and socially responsible assessment. We hope that this article sparks more scholarly discussion of rater-mediated and automatic assessment of interpreting quality from a psychometric-social perspective.

ContextPatients in long-term remission of Cushing's syndrome (CS) commonly report impaired quality of life (QoL). The CushingQoL questionnaire is a disease-specific QoL questionnaire for patients diagnosed with CS. The developers of the CushingQoL recommend using a global (total) score to assess QoL. However, the global score does not capture all aspects of QoL as outlined by the World Health Organization (WHO).ObjectiveThe aim of the study was to compare the performance of different scoring options to determine the optimal method for the CushingQoL.Design and patientsPatients in remission from CS (n=341) were recruited from the Cushing's Syndrome Research Foundation's email listserv and Facebook page, and asked to complete the CushingQoL and a short demographics survey.ResultsUsing an exploratory analysis, adequate model fit was obtained for the global score, as well as a 2-subscale (psychosocial issues and physical problems) scoring solution. Confirmatory methods were performed to identify the optimal scoring solution. Both the global score and the 2-subscale scoring solution showed adequate model fit. However, a χ2 difference test indicated that the 2-subscale scoring solution was a significantly better fit than the global score (P<0.05).ConclusionIf doctors or researchers would like to tease apart physical and psychosocial issues, the 2-subscale scoring solution would be recommended, since this solution showed to be optimal in scoring the CushingQoL. Regardless of the scoring solution used, the CushingQoL has proven to be a valuable resource for assessing health-related QoL in patients with CS.

Résumé :
Usability evaluation tools in the form of heuristic lists can be very helpful in software development. In the field of video game design, researchers are continuously developing new heuristic tools aimed specifically at video game productions. However, through previous studies, the authors have found that even though these tools are frequent and common, design issues regularly appear in video games. This study examines whether video game heuristics are able to capture and evaluate softer values of video game interaction, based on the challenges, flow and immersion of gameplay. By conducting a heuristic evaluation on low scoring and high scoring games the authors manage to show which kind of design issues are most frequent in both high and low scoring games. As a further result of the study, two new heuristics are presented.

We are unable to survive without technology in today's entirely digital environment. Especially when managing corporate activities that depend on technology, hardware or software can be used in the technology. This business manufactures items out of mild steel. The prioritized products include roof trusses, building frame columns, and metal roof tiles. This business uses soft steel elements to provide three applications to support online sales. But because the organization has yet to conduct any testing, there are still a lot of faults or problems, making it necessary to manually assess the mobile application until a scenario report is generated and the testing findings are implemented. Scenario photographs and error sections make up the data that was collected. Based on this, the application's quality has been assessed to determine the correctness, comprehensiveness, and standard of the software used in the Metalmens Application. However, the system's quality still needs to be discovered. The McCall method is used as the measurement technique in this investigation. According to the McCall Method results, the quality of Metalmen Applications is solid, scoring 84%, with dependability scoring 84% and reliability scoring 62%. Dependability is the best indicator, scoring 84%.

Résumé :
The 1985 FAO/WHO/UNU protein report defined reference amino acid patterns for infants based on breast milk and for preschool children, schoolchildren and adults from age specific estimates of dietary indispensible amino acid requirements divided by the safe protein requirement for each age group. This report argued that the protein quality of a diet should be estimated from its digestibility adjusted by its amino acid score calculated from its limiting amino acid in comparison with the reference amino acid pattern. Subsequently a joint FAO/WHO expert consultation on protein quality evaluation (1991) endorsed this protein digestibility-corrected score approach. However it rejected the adult scoring pattern identified in the 1985 report arguing that the amino acid values for this pattern were too low. As an interim measure it suggested that the scoring pattern for preschool children should be used for all age groups apart from infants. The recent WHO/FAO/UNU (2007) report endorsed the 1985 report in recommending the amino acid content of breast milk as the best estimate of infant amino acid requirements. However it was only able to identify reliable requirement values for adults and adopted a factorial approach to derivation of age-related scoring patterns. This utilized the adult pattern for maintenance, and the pattern of human tissue protein for growth. Thus scoring patterns were derived for children aged 0·5, 1–2, 3–10, 11–14, 15–18 years and for adults. The total dietary amino acid requirements calculated for these age groups were divided by the mean protein requirement to give the scoring pattern which should be used to adjust digestible intakes to identify the available protein in specific diets. However because the adult values were determined in subjects at protein intakes much higher than the mean minimum protein requirement, i.e. at 1 g/kg/d rather than 0·66 g/kg/d, the pattern is likely to include higher values than the minimum requirement and should therefore be referenced against the safe allowance.

Résumé :
The healthcare industry in India has witnessed remarkable growth and transformation in recent years, with a burgeoning demand for quality healthcare services. The sustainability of the healthcare workforce and the service quality of accredited hospitals are critical factors that significantly influence the overall healthcare system in India. This study aims to investigate the relationship between workforce sustainability, quality of healthcare service, and job engagement within the context of accredited hospitals in India. A descriptive research design is employed, and a structured questionnaire is used to gather primary data from the doctors and nurses as they have more burnout intentions at the workplace. The sample size of the study is 384 respondents: 86.2% are doctors and 13.8% are nurses. The study results reveal that unmarried doctors and nurses exhibit greater sustainability (with a score of 3.7767). Similarly, the millennial workforce demonstrates higher sustainability (scoring 3.8106) than the Gen X cohort (scoring 3.7775). Notably, doctors exhibit greater sustainability in the workplace (scoring 3.7772) when contrasted with nurses (scoring 3.6061). Job engagement varies with the annual income. The female workforce holds more favorable perceptions regarding the quality of healthcare service (scoring 3.8583). The study found that workforce sustainability, quality of healthcare service, and job engagement are positively correlated. Further, the study revealed that workforce sustainability positively and significantly impacts service quality in hospitals (22.4%), and job engagement mediates the workforce sustainability and quality of healthcare services.

Résumé :
Presently, the utilization of an automated pronunciation scoring system holds significant importance in the endeavor to enhance the pronunciation skills of non-native learners. A plethora of research endeavors have been dedicated to exploring the various factors that contribute to students' satisfaction with this technology. This particular investigation, however, narrows its focus to examine the influence of interface quality, system quality, and perceived usefulness of the automated pronunciation scoring system on students' levels of satisfaction. The approach employed in this study is quantitative, employing a cross-sectional design, and data was gathered through a survey questionnaire administered to a sample of 250 students from two universities in Malaysia. The collected data were subjected to analysis utilizing Structural Equation Modelling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS), complemented by SmartPLS3.3 software. The outcomes of this analysis unequivocally indicate that both system quality and the perceived usefulness of the automated pronunciation scoring system significantly and positively impact students' satisfaction. However, it was found that the interface quality does not wield a significant influence on students' overall satisfaction. In conclusion, this investigation has successfully identified and explored the critical factors that contribute to students' satisfaction when utilizing an automated pronunciation scoring system. Moreover, the study establishes a strong correlation between the implementation of such a system and heightened levels of student satisfaction. These findings underscore the importance of diligently attending to interface quality, system quality, and perceived usefulness to optimize the effectiveness of an automated pronunciation scoring system. It is crucial for instructors to play an active role in ensuring that users are adept at navigating and interacting with the system, fostering a positive and fruitful learning experience.

Résumé :
Abstract The Minnesota Nursing Home Report Card provides 19 clinical quality indictor (QI) ratings. Currently, face validity and expert opinions are employed to group the 19 long-stay QIs into 10 different domains. However, we do not know whether these domains are supported by the data. Under the current scoring program, some QIs may not discriminate very well between facilities. The objective was to evaluate the dimensionality of the QIs and the current scoring approach used to assign points to the domain and total QI scores. Risk-adjusted facility-level rates for the 19 QIs over the 2012-2019 period were used. Our findings indicate it is reasonable to categorize these QIs into 4 domains. Moreover, the current scoring approach is best suited for a facility QI distribution that is approximately normal. However, 11 QIs display a skewed distribution with facilities tightly grouped at the very bottom (floor) or top (ceiling) of the QI distribution. Our findings suggest that the current scoring approach may distort or exaggerate the differences in the QI rates with skewed distributions, assigning widely varying points to facilities that vary little in their QI rates. We recommend a zero-error approach for highly skewed QIs where the QI outcome is achievable and it reflects a serious quality problem. Our study of the QI scoring system is part of a package of recommendations to improve the Minnesota Nursing Home Report Card and value-based reimbursement system. Lessons learned from the study are readily applicable to Medicare’s Nursing Home Compare report.

Résumé :
Abstract. Form Quality (FQ) scores are well-validated measures of the accuracy of perceptive processes, of reality testing, and of the severity of psychological disturbance. Research studies reveal that inter-rater reliability of FQ scoring is good when visualized objects are available in the FQ tables. However, many visualized objects are not found in the FQ tables so that scoring must rely on one’s individual judgment. Thus, a major question remains unsolved: How reliably can examiners make FQ judgments in the absence of the FQ tables? To address this question, we used the Rorschach Performance Assessment System (R-PAS) method. We asked 21 graduate students from our research labs to rate Form Accuracy (FA) and FQ for 86 objects from a subset of four Rorschach card (I, III, VI, and VIII). The results clearly reveal that FQ judgments made by individual examiners without using the FQ tables are not reliable. When scoring FQ, one should carefully scrutinize the empirically supported FQ tables and base the FQ score on these rather than personal judgments.

Abstract A tree quality scoring system was developed for immature loblolly pines to simulate the subjective quality tree grades determined by experienced industrial foresters. The system was designed to be used either in the office via a computer algorithm, or in the field via a dichotomous key. Results showed that both computer and field key performed well in terms of precision, although the key was susceptible to a higher degree of user bias. Both methods produced consistent, or repeatable, results. The scoring system should be useful for precommercial thinning decisions. South. J. Appl. For. 21(1):24-27.

Résumé :
Standards for product control methods, designed to provide a comprehensive verification of mandatory product quality requirements, should be objective and accurate. Scientifically organized tasting analysis surpasses many methods of laboratory research in sensitivity, especially in relation to such indicators as taste, smell and texture. The existing methods of laboratory analysis are more complex and time-consuming compared to the methods of organoleptic evaluation and allow characterizing particular features of quality. The organoleptic method quickly and, with the correct preparation of the analysis, objectively and reliably gives an overall impression of the quality of the products. Tasting or organoleptic assessment, carried out with the help of human senses, is the most ancient and widespread way to determine the quality of food products. The article systematizes and supplements the results of our own research on the characteristics of organoleptic indicators of oatmeal with the rationale and characteristics of each assessment, the algorithm for conducting it. Ratings were given on a five-point scale, which were then summed up and their average values were determined for appearance, color, smell, texture and taste. The scoring method in Russia is one of the main methods of tasting analysis. The evaluation results are expressed as points on a conditional scale with an increasing sequence of numbers, each of which corresponds to a certain intensity of a particular quality indicator. The calculation of a comprehensive organoleptic assessment (CEA) of the products under study was carried out. The purpose of the study was to establish, according to organoleptic indicators, the compliance of the quality of cereals with the requirements of regulatory documents. The work was carried out at VNIIZ, a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “Federal Scientific Center for Food Systems named after V.I. V. M. Gorbatov, Russian Academy of Sciences. The objects of research were 5 samples of oatmeal with various additives from different manufacturers. To eliminate the preference of members of the commission for a particular manufacturer and brand, each sample was assigned numbers. According to the results of the research, it was found that oatmeal of domestic producers in all indicators of cereals met the requirements of regulatory documents.

Résumé :
The research objective was to develop public universities key performance indicators. Qualitative research and interviews were employed with each public universitys senior executive and quality assessors. The sample group was selected by the office of the public sector development commission and Thailands public universities can be separated into three groups based on their quality assessment score: 1) the high scoring group, 2) the moderate scoring group, and 3) the low scoring group. The results showed that the high scoring group had set a clear strategic context such as vision, mission, core values and corporate goals. In the case of the moderate scoring group it was found that some sections of the strategic context, such as the vision and mission, had already been defined, but corporate goals were yet to be determined. The strategic context was not clear and remained inactive for the low scoring group. In additional, each public university should establish two different sets of key performance indicators; first, a common key performance indicator which is aligned with the public university mission to enhance macro education, and which can be separated by five assessment perspectives as follows: 1) to produce graduates, 2) to promote and expand the universitys research, 3) to provide academic services, 4) to preserve and promote the arts, culture and heritage, and 5) to manage the university. The second specific key performance indicator should be aligned with the universitys strategic context, especially its vision and goals.

In this study we quantify the accuracy of scoring the quality of research grants using a finite set of distinct categories (1, 2, …., k), when the unobserved grant score is a continuous random variable comprising a true quality score and measurement error, both normally distributed. We vary the number of categories, the number of assessors that score the same grant and a signal-to-noise ratio parameter. We show that the loss of information of scoring a small number of categories (k > 5) compared to scoring on a continuous scale is very small, so that increasing the number of scoring categories is unlikely to lead to an improvement in the outcomes of scoring systems. In addition, we model the effect of grant assessors scoring too close to the mean and show that this results in only a very small reduction in the accuracy of scoring.

Résumé :
The surgical report is an important means of documenting normal and abnormal findings, and for distilling such information into a meaningful clinico-pathologic correlation. An audit of the quality of placental reports from four laboratories was performed using an arbitrary numerical scoring scheme that examined the gross, histologic, and commentary components of each report. The mean scores from the four laboratories were not statistically different from each other. Three (2%) and 48 (33%) of the 147 singleton placentas scored less than 50 and 75%, respectively, on this scoring scheme. None and 14 (41%) of the placentas from 34 multiple pregnancies scored less than 50 and 75%, respectively. Different aspects of the gross and histologic examination were reported variably by the laboratories. Commentaries on gross or histologic abnormalities, and in relation to clinical indications, were inconsistently reported. The standards of placental surgical reporting can be improved. The use of templates and checklists for reporting of placentas may be considered.

Résumé :
Abstract Purpose Eight of the ten items of the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) have a ‘not relevant’ response (NRR) option. There are two possible ways to interpret NRRs: they may be considered ‘not at all’ or missing responses. We aim to compare the measurement performance of the DLQI in psoriasis patients when NRRs are scored as ‘0’ (hereafter zero-scoring) and ‘missing’ (hereafter missing-scoring) using Rasch model analysis. Methods Data of 425 patients with psoriasis from two earlier cross-sectional surveys were re-analysed. All patients completed the paper-based Hungarian version of the DLQI. A partial credit model was applied. The following model assumptions and measurement properties were tested: dimensionality, item fit, person reliability, order of response options and differential item functioning (DIF). Results Principal component analysis of the residuals of the Rasch model confirmed the unidimensional structure of the DLQI. Person separation reliability indices were similar with zero-scoring (0.910) and missing-scoring (0.914) NRRs. With zero-scoring, items 6 (sport), 7 (working/studying) and 9 (sexual difficulties) suffered from item misfit and item-level disordering. With missing-scoring, no misfit was observed and only item 7 was illogically ordered. Six and three items showed DIF for gender and age, respectively, that were reduced to four and three by missing-scoring. Conclusions Missing-scoring NRRs resulted in an improved measurement performance of the scale. DLQI scores of patients with at least one vs. no NRRs cannot be directly compared. Our findings provide further empirical support to the DLQI-R scoring modification that treats NRRs as missing and replaces them with the average score of the relevant items.

Résumé :
Egypt is currently witnessing an extensive desert greening plan with a target of adding one and a half million feddans to the agricultural area. The present study evaluates the soil quality in the western desert fringes of the Nile Delta using three indicator datasets, which involve the total dataset (TDS), the minimum dataset (MDS), and the expert dataset (EDS). Three quality index models are included: the Additive Soil Quality Index (SQI-A), the Weighted Additive Soil Quality Index (SQI-W), and the Nemoro Soil Quality Index (SQI-N). Linear and nonlinear scoring functions are evaluated for scoring soil and terrain indicators. Thirteen soil quality indicators and three terrain indicators were measured in 397 sampling sites for soil quality evaluation. Factor analyses determined five soil and terrain indicators for the minimum dataset and their associated weights. The linear scoring functions reflected the soil system functions more than nonlinear scoring functions. Soil quality estimation by the minimum dataset (MDS) and Weighted Additive Soil Quality Index (SQI-W) is more sensitive than that by SQI-A and SQI-N quality models to explain soil quality indicators. The moderate soil quality grade is the largest quality grade in the studied area. The minimum dataset of soil quality indicators could assist in reducing time and cost of evaluating soil quality and monitoring the temporal changes in soil quality of the region due to the increased agricultural development.

Résumé :
Abstract Background The relative proportion of inflammation and fibrosis in a stricture is highly relevant in defining the clinical approach for Crohn’s disease [CD] patients. Whereas transmural inflammation in CD can be accurately estimated by cross-sectional imaging, evaluating the extent and severity of fibrosis still requires surgical pathology of intestinal resection specimens. This study systematically reviewed all existing transmural histopathological scoring systems developed for the assessment of inflammation and/or fibrosis in CD. Methods A systematic review of histopathological scoring systems for the assessment of transmural inflammation and/or fibrosis in CD, focusing on originally developed scoring systems. Risk of bias, methodological quality, and operating or psychometric properties [validity, reliability, responsiveness, and feasibility] of each histological scoring system were analysed. Results A total of 29 original scoring systems were included in this review. Three scoring systems were highlighted as the most widely reproduced, one aimed at assessing inflammation only and two aimed at assessing inflammation and fibrosis. These scores were more widely reproduced probably due to their ease of application in clinical studies. Two highly comprehensive scores were identified, showing good operating properties and high methodological quality, as well as the lowest risk of bias; these should, therefore, be further validated in clinical research studies. Conclusions This study reviewed all existing transmural histopathological scoring systems for the assessment of inflammation and/or fibrosis in CD and identified the most reliable and accurate scores for clinical research and clinical practice settings.

Résumé :
Indonesian automatic text summarization research is developed rapidly. The quality, especially readability aspect, of text summary can be reached if the meaning of the text can be maintained properly. Therefore, this research aims to enhance the quality of extractive Indonesian automatic text summarization with considering the quality of structured representation of text. This research uses sequential pattern mining (SPM) to produce This research use SPM to produce sequence of words (SoW) as structured text representation using PrefixSpan algorithm. Then, SPM is combined with feature-based approach using sentence scoring method to produce summary. The experiment result using IndoSum dataset shows that even though the combination of SPM and sentence scoring can increase the precision value of recall-oriented understudy for gisting evaluation (ROUGE)-1, ROUGE-2, and ROUGE-L, from 0.68 to 0.76, 0.54 to 0.69, and 0.51 to 0.72. Especially, combination of SPM and Sentence Scoring can enhance precision, recall, and f-measure of ROUGE-L that consider the order of word occurance in measurement. SPM increases ROUGE-L f-measure value of sentence scoring from 0.32 to 0.36. Moreover, combination of sentence scoring and SPM is better than SumBasic that used as feature-based approach in the previous Indonesian text summarization research.

Résumé :
Introduction: One of the leading video sharing platforms is YouTube (YT). Due to their increased use, these can possibly create misconceptions about the condition, especially the associated treatment and signs and symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. Thus, this evaluates the information quality of YT videos about carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Methods: This is a descriptive-evaluated study focused on assessing the information qualities of CTS videos on YT. Using Macleod et al. information quality index (2015), modified Diagnostic Information Quality Assessment Checklist (DIQAC) and Treatment Information Quality Assessment Checklist (TIQAC) were utilized. DIQAC measures the elements explanation, history, physical examination and ancillary procedures; while TIQAC, presurgical, surgical procedure, rehabilitation and complication elements. YT videos from 2020 onwards were searched using keywords "carpal tunnel syndrome", "diagnosis" and "treatment", and screened for duplicates, non-related to topic and without audio. Out of 31 videos retrieved, 11 YT videos on CTS were evaluated by physical therapists to determine the reliability of YT videos on CTS. Results: Results showed that YT-CTS videos are highly reliable in the elements explanation (45%) and history (36.36%), moderate to reliable in ancillary procedure (54.54%) and moderately reliable in physical examination (36%), in terms of DIQAC scoring. Whereas in TIQAC scoring, YT-CTS videos obtained a highly reliable presurgical scoring (45.45%). Surprisingly, it is poorly reliable in complication scoring (45.45%), very poorly to poor reliable in rehabilitation scoring (72.72%), and very poorly reliable in surgical scoring (45.45%). Overall, diagnosis information quality is high (65%), but low treatment information quality (32%). Discussion: This demonstrates that YT videos are technological tool that a physical therapist or a clinicians can utilize to educate and diagnose. Treatment information can hardly be explained in videos, which can vary form case to case, and is best explained through medical advice of a doctor to his patient with CTS.

Résumé :
The Clear Sky Radiance (CSR) product has been widely used instead of Level 1 (L1) geostationary imager data in data assimilation for numerical weather prediction due to its many advantages concerning superobservation methodology. In this study, CSR was produced in two water vapor channels (channels 9 and channel 10, with wavelengths at 5.8–6.7 μm and 6.9–7.3 μm) of the Advanced Geostationary Radiation Imager aboard Fengyun 4A. The root mean square error (RMSE) between CSR observations and backgrounds was used as a quality flag and was predicted by cloud cover, standard deviation (STD), surface type, and elevation of a CSR field of view (FOV). Then, a centesimal scoring system based on the predicted RMSE was set to a CSR FOV that indicates its percentile point in the quality distribution of the whole FOV. Validations of the scoring system demonstrated that the biases of the predicted RMSE were small for all FOVs and that the score was consistent with the predicted RMSE, especially for FOVs with high scores. We suggest using this score for quality control (QC) to replace the QC of cloud cover, STD, and elevation of CSR, and we propose 40 points as the QC threshold for the two channels, above which the predicted RMSE of a CSR is superior to the RMSE of averaged clear-sky L1 data.
