Résumé :

RAFT polymerization was used to prepare polystyrene – poly(4-vinyl pyridine) block copolymers, PSn-b-P(4VP)m. Well-defined block copolymers were obtained despite some indications of hydrolysis of the RAFT endgroup during synthesis. The block copolymer PS70-b-P(4VP)55 was self-assembled into micellar structures in dichloromethane, leading to nanoparticles with hydrodynamic diameters of 70 nm. The micelles were loaded with HAuCl4 and, upon reduction, micellar gold-containing nanoparticles with hydrodynamic diameters of 240 nm were obtained. These nanoparticles were employed in the preparation of honeycomb-structured porous films by means of the breath figures technique to yield gold nanocomposites with a hexagonal porous array.

Résumé :

Abstract Introduction: Malignant glioma is the most common and aggressive primary brain tumor and requires multimodality treatment. Regarding surgical treatment, it is desirable to achieve maximum resection while considering function preservation. There is consensus that the survival prognosis is prolonged in gross or subtotal resection. However, there are cases in which biopsy or partial resection is performed due to the spread of lesions at the time of onset, underlying diseases, and social background. The purpose of this study was to retrospectively analyze the cases of malignant glioma at our university and to find out the factors related to the prognosis of cases in which removal was insufficient. Target: 55 cases of malignant glioma treated at our university since 2013 who underwent biopsy or partial resection. Method: Overall/progression-free survival period is the end point, and parameters are age, bevacizumab use, pathological diagnosis, photodynamic diagnosis use at operation, immunotherapy, ventricular invasion, contralateral invasion, sex, preoperative Performance Status (PS), postoperative PS, left or right, navigation use, steroid use, anticonvulsant drug type, radiation, IDH mutation, 1p19q co-deletion, MGMT methylation, TERT mutation, p53 mutation, biopsy or partial resection. After narrowing down the evaluation items by univariate analysis(Logrank test), multivariate analysis(Cox proportional hazard model)was performed. Result: The univariate analysis was significant in 5 items including bevacizumab use, radiation therapy, levetiracetam use, postoperative PS70 or higher, and partial resection instead of biopsy. Multivariate analysis detected two statistically significant differences, bevacizumab use and post-operative PS70 and above. There was no difference in the timing of bevacizumab use. Consideration: In poorly resection cases, the weight of postoperative treatment is high, so continuity of treatment and selection of postoperative treatment are important, and maintenance of ADL and use of bevacizumab are significant among them.

Résumé :

Polysorbates 20 and 80 (PS20 and PS80) are added to many commercial biologic and vaccine pharmaceuticals. It is commonly known that these polysorbates undergo a radical oxidation mechanism; however, the identity of these radical intermediates has not been clearly determined. Furthermore, PS20 and PS80 differ by the presence of a lauric acid instead of an oleic acid, respectively. The oxidation of PS80 is thought to be centered around the double bond of the oleic acid even though PS20 also undergoes oxidation, making the mechanism of oxidation unclear for PS20. Using commercial stocks of PS20 and PS80 alkyl (R•), alkoxyl (C-O•) and peroxyl (C-OO•) radicals were detected by electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy likely originating from radical-initiating species already present in the material. When dissolved in water, the peroxyl radicals (C-OO•) originally in the stocks were not detected but poly(ethylene oxide) radicals were. An oxidative pathway for polysorbates was suggested based on the radical species identified in the polysorbate stock material and solutions.

Résumé :

The surfactants polysorbate 20 (PS20) and polysorbate 80 (PS80) are utilized to stabilize protein drugs. However, concerns have been raised regarding the degradation of PSs in biologics and the potential impact on product quality. Oxidation has been identified as a prevalent degradation mechanism under pharmaceutically relevant conditions. So far, a systematic stability comparison of both PSs under pharmaceutically relevant conditions has not been conducted and little is known about the dependence of oxidation on PS concentration. Here, we conducted a comparative stability study to investigate (i) the different oxidative degradation propensities between PS20 and PS80 and (ii) the impact of PS concentration on oxidative degradation. PS20 and PS80 in concentrations ranging from 0.1 mg⋅mL−1 to raw material were stored at 5, 25, and 40 °C for 48 weeks in acetate buffer pH 5.5 and water, respectively. We observed a temperature-dependent oxidative degradation of the PSs with strong (40 °C), moderate (25 °C), and weak/no degradation (5 °C). Especially at elevated temperatures such as 40 °C, fast oxidative PS degradation processes were detected. In this case study, a stronger degradation and earlier onset of oxidation was observed for PS80 in comparison to PS20, detected via the fluorescence micelle assay. Additionally, degradation was found to be strongly dependent on PS concentration, with significantly less oxidative processes at higher PS concentrations. Iron impurities, oxygen in the vial headspaces, and the pH values of the formulations were identified as the main contributing factors to accelerate PS oxidation.

The water–air balance of four soilless substrates: 75% sphagnum peat–25% perlite (Ps75:P25), 50% sphagnum peat–50% perlite (Ps50:P50), 50% coir–50% perlite (C50:P50), and a fortified substrate with 60% sphagnum peat–30% black peat–10% perlite (Ps60:Pb30:P10) (in a volumetric proportion) was investigated under two different irrigation methods (drip and sub-irrigation), and its effect on the growth of Begonia ×elatior ‘The President’ was studied. The bulk density, particle size distribution, and water retention curve of the substrates were determined. Furthermore, the water profiles, oxygen (Ο2) concentration, and Ο2 diffusion rate of all substrates were determined during a 16-week cultivation period. Plant height, flower production, and both shoot and root dry weights as well as percent growth increase of plants were measured at the end of the experiment. The substrate water profiles showed that the water content was greater and air content was less in substrates of pots irrigated with drip irrigation than with sub-irrigation. The O2 concentration in all substrates irrespective of the irrigation method was high. The O2 diffusion rate values of sub-irrigated substrates were greater than those drip-irrigated, and Ps60:Pb30:P10 showed the greatest values. Shoot and root dry weights and percent growth increase of drip-irrigated plants were greater than that of sub-irrigated plants.

El curso Taller de Terapia del Arte ofrece un espacio para la exploración de nuestras características personales a través de los diversos lenguajes del arte. Se sustenta en la Terapia de Artes Expresivas que fundamenta supráctica en la Poiesis, entendida como la capacidad de dar forma a nuestra experiencia mediante el hacer, desplegando nuestra imaginación, a través del uso integrado de las artes. La Terapia de Artes Expresivas se basa en una visión post moderna que apuesta por darle nuevas formas a lo establecido y construir aquello que está por venir. A través de la creación artística surgirá el elemento estético, lo bello. Esta belleza ayuda a contener nuestros sentimientos, transformándolos. Así también, nos permite salir de una posible anestesia para recuperar la posibilidad de sentir, de hacer, de reconectarnos con la vida. El curso Taller de Terapia del Arte ha sido diseñado con el propósito de permitir al futuro psicólogo y psicóloga desarrollar la competencia general de Pensamiento innovador y la competencia específica de Desarrollo Personal y Autoconocimiento, ambas a nivel de logro 1, a través de la exploración de las distintas modalidades de arte (artes plásticas, artes visuales, danza, música, teatro, fotografía, poesía, entre otros). El curso contribuye (directamente) al diálogo entre la práctica psicológica y el poder transformador y terapéutico de las artes, acercándonos al conocimiento y la exploración de nuestra naturaleza como seres humanos, desde una nueva orilla. El Taller de Relaciones Grupales es un curso práctico dirigido a alumnos del 4to ciclo que pretende brindar a los alumnos un espacio para aprender a través de la experiencia conceptos básicos de la metodología de relaciones grupales. En la primera parte del curso se trabajará en base a dinámicas grupales para el análisis de los aspectos inconscientes, mientras que la segunda parte del curso se centra en el análisis individual de los roles asumidos en la experiencia del curso y su relación con los roles asumidos fuera del grupo. La metodología trabajada permitirá que los alumnos exploren tanto los aspectos conscientes como inconscientes en la toma de roles, lo cual los llevará a estar más presentes, a tener una nueva mirada de sí mismos e incluso a que se propongan aspectos de mejora y transformación si así lo desean.

El Taller de Terapia Cognitivo Conductual es un curso específico en la carrera de Psicología, de carácter práctico dirigido a estudiantes del quinto ciclo. Como psicólogos nos aproximamos al mundo interno de las personas, a sus pensamientos, emociones y conductas. Sin embargo, es necesario que el alumno explore primero dichos elementos en sí mismos siendo capaces de reconocer los factores biológicos, psicológicos y sociales que influyen en su comportamiento. Este taller brinda al estudiante las estrategias y los recursos básicos de la terapia cognitivo conductual, los cuales serán aplicados a su propia experiencia de vida, permitiendo con ello un mejor acercamiento a las personas como futuros psicólogos. Contribuye además con el desarrollo de la competencia general de Pensamiento Innovador; y la competencia específica de Desarrollo Personal y Autoconocimiento ambas a nivel 2.

El taller de Terapia psicoanalítica es un curso de especialidad en la Carrera de Psicología, de carácter práctico. En este taller psicoanalítico el estudiante encontrará respuestas a preguntas que, aunque silenciosas, han sido recurrentes a lo largo de su desarrollo personal relacionados a un conocimiento de su propio psiquismo. El taller de Terapia psicoanalítica ha sido diseñado con el propósito de permitir al futuro psicólogo ampliar la capacidad de observarse a sí mismo y conseguir un mayor conocimiento de su propio psiquismo y de los fenómenos inconscientes que se generan en los grupos terapéuticos. Es el tercer taller del Módulo de auto-conocimiento que desarrolla la competencia de autoanálisis y desarrollo personal. El taller ofrece un espacio para la exploración del mundo interno a través de los diversos lenguajes del arte. La Terapia de Artes Expresivas fundamenta su práctica en Poiesis, la capacidad de dar forma a nuestra experiencia mediante el hacer y el despliegue de nuestra imaginación. Creemos que las artes, desde ésta perspectiva, pueden dar respuesta adecuada al sufrimiento, sin negarlo, sino colocándolo al centro, reconociendo que el sufrimiento es también una experiencia humana, que puede bloquear la imaginación. La Terapia de Artes Expresivas a través del uso integrado de las artes y basada en una visión post moderna apuesta a darle nuevas formas a lo establecido y construir aquello que está por venir. A través de la creación artística es que surge el elemento estético, bello. Esta belleza ayuda a contener el dolor y la destrucción, transformándolos, permite salir de una posible anestesia y recuperar la posibilidad de sentir, de hacer, de reconectarnos con la vida. La práctica psicológica y terapéutica sostiene un diálogo permanente con ésta dimensión humana. Résumé :

This work presents a comparative study between direct steam generation central receiver solar power plants working at live steam conditions similar to those found in commercial plants. PS10 and PS20 by Abengoa Solar use a single-receiver, producing saturated steam, whereas Sierra SunTower by e-Solar and Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System (ISEGS) by BrightSource use dual-receiver technology producing superheated steam. The system analysis includes individual studies for each subsystem: solar field, receiver and Rankine power block; as well as the overall-analysis of a 66.7 MWth plant. PS10 working conditions were analysed with and without intermediate reheat step. It was assumed that Sierra SunTower-configuration has non-reheat turbine and Ivanpah-cycle includes an intermediate reheat step. The reheat process in PS10 configuration was performed using a fraction of live steam coming from the receiver; while for Ivanpah-configuration exhaust steam from high pressure turbine stage was sent back to the superheated steam section of the dual-receiver. These concepts make possible to avoid hybridisation and assure special regimes (such as Spanish feed-in tariff). The analysis of the heliostat field for dual-receiver concepts reveals that the aiming strategy on the absorbers has not relevant influence on optical performances. However, receiver efficiency decreased from 91.9%, working with saturated steam, to 87.86–84.14% working with superheated steam related to operating temperatures and heat exchange surface area. This study reveals that the improvement achieved in the power block under Ivanpah configuration was able to compensate higher thermal losses at the receiver, increasing net power production by 25.5% compared with saturated steam conditions.

Résumé :

We have found 11 new members of the Hobson asteroids family: (537249) 2015 HM190, 2007 EH116, 2007 HC54, 2008 WV149, 2010 GN203, 2011 SU302, 2015 FV225, 2015 HV138, 2015 OP104, 2015 PM156, 2019 PS30. We estimated the Yarkovsky semimajor axis drift rate, the Hill sphere’s radii, and the escape velocity for all asteroids of the family. Simulation of the dynamic evolution of asteroids with allowance for the Yarkovsky effect has been carried out. Based on the simulation results, estimates of the asteroid pairs’ age included in the amily are obtained. The age of the Hobson asteroid family is about 400 kyr.

Résumé :

OBJETIVOS: El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar un caso de patología dual grave, en el que se ensaya una nueva línea de tratamiento ILD con palmitato de paliperidona semestral. MATERIAL-MÉTODO: Se trata de un varón sexagenario con diagnóstico de T. Mental y del Comportamiento debido al consumo de alcohol, con síndrome de dependencia y consumo crónico (F10.25 según CIE-10), y de Esquizofrenia paranoide con sintomatología positiva cronificada (F20.00 según CIE-10). Caso de gran cronicidad, con debut del cuadro psicótico hace más de 30 años, y del consumo de alcohol hace unos 25 años, así como de extrema severidad, con escaso insight e historial de múltiples ensayos terapéuticos con regular-mala adherencia. Igualmente presenta múltiples abandonos del seguimiento, propiciando descompensaciones y recaídas del consumo repetidamente, por las que ha ingresado en Unidad Desintoxicación Hospitalaria, comunidades terapéuticas, UHP y UME reiteradamente. En seguimiento actualmente por Programa de Tratamiento Asertivo Comunitario. Previo al ensayo terapéutico actual, más de un año sin ningún tratamiento neuroléptico, interdictor, modulador del craving o para abstinencia. Otros tratamientos ILD seguidos anteriormente: risperidona 150mg bimensual y, posteriormente, palmitato de paliperidona 200mg mensual. Ante el agravamiento progresivo actual de la clínica, que mantiene cronificada, con mayor repercusión afectivo-conductual de los delirios paranoides, con mayor consumo enólico, irritabilidad, heteroagresividad y autocuidado negligente, se plantea ingreso involuntario en UHP, con inicio de tratamiento ILD con palmitato de paliperidona semestral, a dosis de 1700mg bianuales. RESULTADO-CONCLUSIONES Por el momento, este nuevo tratamiento ha conseguido mejorar y mantener en segundo plano la sintomatología psicótica, consiguiendo así una mayor adherencia al plan de revisiones del ETAC y un menor consumo enólico. Asimismo, el mayor tiempo interadministración supone una menor interferencia en el día a día del paciente y una mejor calidad de vida, surgiendo así un escenario más favorable para ensayar nuevas estrategias de desintoxicación-deshabituación.

Résumé :

Heliostat canting is the alignment of facets on a common frame which provides focusing of sunlight on a prescribed target. Traditionally, this alignment has been parabolic, in which the focal point of the heliostat lies on its optical axis. Two alternative off-axis canting methods are compared in this article, (i) fixed facet (static) canting in which the facet alignment is optimized for a single design day and time and then rigidly mounted to the frame and (ii) dynamic canting in which the facets are actively controlled such that the center of each facet is always perfectly focusing. For both methods, two case studies are considered: (i) a power tower with planar heliostat field (heliostat dimensions and tower height modeled after the 11 MWe plant PS10) and (ii) a hillside heliostat field which directs light down to a ground-level salt pond. In both case studies, static heliostat canting provides a small improvement in focusing by reducing the average annual insolation-weighted spot size by roughly 1–2%. Dynamic canting, in contrast, provides a 20–25% reduction in spot size.
