Texte intégralThe study of my own paintings had to offer first an exploratory analysis of contemporary artistical feelings in order to provide a framework for understanding our approach. The introduction points out which aesthetics my painting could be linked with. In fact, in spite of many intra or extraartistical conditions in which a work of art can born, it appeared to me that one of the most important problems that a painter can meet with is the debate between modernism and post-modernism. These two aesthetics are closely interrelated, but none of them can reasanobly be separed from its philosophical, aesthetical frame. That is why i tried to bring out their concepts as they are the elements on which i found my work. That enabled me to presume that my own pratic, the aim of which is reenchantment, was nearer to post-modern aesthetics than modern aesthetics, as it is under the label of heterogeneous transhistoricity. Poietic is our method, the originality of which could - as it combines practice with theory - lead us to detect the different steps of the setting of a work in progress. Our study is composed of three chapters : "neo-baroque", "les cartes", "du kitsch", correlatively to the series each composed of four works. Concerning the style, crossbreeding has been appeared, as each work contains a nongeometrical abstraction as well as "illusionniste" figurative details

Texte intégralLocalisation is a central problem of computer vision which has numerous applications such as robotics or augmented reality. In this thesis we consider the problem of pose initialisation, which is pose computation without prior knowledge on the camera position. We are interested in pose computation from a single image and a point cloud that has been reconstructed from a set of images. As we do not have prior knowledge on the camera position, pose estimation entirely rely on finding correspondences between the image and the model. The search for these correspondences is a difficult problem because of its high combinatorial complexity. It can fail if the image is very different from the ones we used to construct the model, in particular when there is a large viewpoint change between them. This thesis proposes an approach to make matching possible in such difficult scenarios. It consists in synthesising locally the appearance of the scene from virtual viewpoints and add descriptors extracted from these synthetic views to the model. Because the scene model is a point cloud, the synthesis is not a 3D rendering but a local 2D transform of existing observations of the scene. The following contributions have been proposed. We study different transform models and show that homographic transformations are the best suited for this application. We define a method to position the virtual viewpoints with respect to a planar segmentation of the scene model. We ensure time efficiency by only synthesising useful views, i.e. views that are far from the existing one and don't overlap. Furthermore we verify that the synthesized surface is visible from the virtual viewpoint to avoid producing aberrant views due to occlusions. Finally, we propose a robust and time efficient method to research image-model correspondences. It uses geometric cues in a guided matching framework to efficiently identify sets of correct correspondences. Experimental results show that the proposed approach makes possible pose computation in situation where standard methods fail. In general the precision and repeatability of computed poses is significantly improved by the use of view synthesis. We also show that it also reduce the pose computation times by making image-model matching easier

Texte intégralWe address the problem of establishing point correspondences in images for computing camera pose through Perspective-n-Point (PnP) algorithm. We compute the 3D map i.e. 3D coordinates and visual characteristics of some of the points in the environment through an offline training stage using a set of training images. Given a new test image we apply PnP using the 2D coordinates of 3D points in the image detected by using the 3D map. During the training stage we cluster the SIFT descriptors extracted from training images to obtain 2D-tracks of some of the 3D points in the environment. Each 2D-track consists of a set of 2D image coordinates of a single 3D point in different training images. SfM (Structure from Motion) is performed on these 2D-tracks to obtain the coordinates of the corresponding 3D points. During the test stage, the SIFT descriptors associated the 2D-track of a 3D point is used to recognize the 3D point in a given image. The overall process is similar to visual word framework used in different fields of computer vision. During training, visual word formation is performed through clustering and during testing 3D points are identified through visual word recognition. We experiment with different clustering schemes (k-means and mean-shift) and propose a novel scheme for visual word formation for training stage. We use different matching rules including some of the popular supervised pattern classification methods to perform visual word recognition during test stage. We evaluate these various matching strategies in both stages. In order to achieve robustness against pose variation between train and test images, we explore different ways of incorporating SIFT descriptors extracted from synthetic views generated from the training images. We also propose an exact acceleration strategy for mean-shift computation

Texte intégralShor's quantum algorithm can be used to efficiently solve the integer factorisation problem and the discrete logarithm in certain groups. The security of the most commonly used public key cryptographic protocols relies on the conjectured hardness of exactly these mathematical problems. A sufficiently large quantum computer could therefore pose a threat to the confidentiality and authenticity of secure digital communication. Post quantum cryptography relies on mathematical problems that are computationally hard for quantum computers, such as Learning with Errors (LWE) and its variants RLWE and MLWE. In this thesis, we present and compare FPGA implementations of LWE, RLWE and MLWE based public key encryption algorithms. We discuss various trade-offs between security, computation time and hardware cost. The implementations are parallelized in order to obtain maximal speed-up. We show that MLWE has the best performance in terms of computation time and area utilization, and can be parallelized more efficiently than RLWE. We also discuss hardware security and propose countermeasures against side channel attacks for RLWE. We consider countermeasures from the state of the art, such as masking and blinding, and propose improvements to these algorithms. Moreover, we propose new countermeasures based on redundant number representation and the random shuffling of operations. All countermeasures are implemented on FPGA to compare their cost and computation time overhead. Our proposed protection based on redundant number representation is particularly flexible, in the sens that it can be implemented for various degrees of protection at various costs

This study aimed at characterizing in fruit and physico-chemical, and sensory enzyme in the coconut water the of six dwarf coconut cultivars at seven stages of development. The studied cultivars were: Green dwarf from Jequi (GDJ), yellow dwarf from Gramame (YDG), yellow dwarf from Malaysia (YDM), Red dwarf from Cameroon (YDC), Red dwarf from Malaysia (RDM), Red dwarf from Gramame (RDG). Fruits were harvested from an experimental field, Embrapa Meio Norte (Parnaiba city, Piauà State), at the following stages of development: 126, 147, 168, 189, 210, 231, and 252 days after the opening of the inflorescences. Upon harvest, fruits were taken to the Laboratory of Postharvest physiology and technology at Embrapa Agroindustria Tropical, located in Fortaleza, CearÃ, were the physical and physic-chemical analyses were performed. Part of the samples were stored at -85ÂC and then transported to the Laboratory of Plant Physiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department from The Federal University of CearÃ, were the enzymatic study was conducted. The experimental designed was a completely randomized one in a factorial scheme 6 x 7. First physical characterization (mass, length, diameter, water volume, and color of the shell) was individually performed for each fruit, then the physic-chemical analyses of coconut water: total soluble solids (TSS), total soluble sugar (TSSu), reducing sugars (RS), total titratable acidity (TTA), sugar to acid ratio (TSS/TTA), pH, turbidity, and protein. It was also evaluated the activities of enzymes that oxide phenols [polyphenoloxidase (PFO) and peroxidase specific for the guaiacol (G-POD)], as well as those of the cycle of ascorbate-glutathione [superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and the ascorbate peroxidase (APX). Moreover some of the sensory aspects of the water were evaluated. The results showed that the YDR, YDG, and RDG may be commercially exploited, due to their physical and physic-chemical characteristics. It was also concluded that, the best time for harvesting is somewhat between 189 to 210 days after fruit developed set, since right at this time the studied cultivars presented the best quality attributes. There was detected activity of G-POD in the coconut water from any of the cultivars. The activity of SOD in the coconut water increased in the early stages of development of the fruits of all the cultivars, such as RDG and YDG cultivars such as those that showed higher enzyme activity. A CAT proved to be the main enzyme eliminating of hydrogen peroxide of coconut water and its activity varied greatly it the development of the fruit and also between the cultivars
