Texte intégralPhyllosticta ampelicida é um fungo nativo da América do Norte responsável pela doença da videira designada por podridão negra ou “black rot” na língua inglesa. Este patogéneo pode causar estragos nos tecidos verdes da planta e nos cachos, afetando a produção e a qualidade do vinho e, consequentemente, causando prejuízos no sector vitivinícola. Devido a uma crescente preocupação dos viticultores portugueses mostrou-se importante realizar a caracterização morfológica, cultural e molecular de uma coleção de 30 isolados portugueses obtida ao longo de vários anos (2011 a 2013), em diversas regiões vitícolas e a partir de diferentes castas em conjunto com 13 isolados recebidos de vários países da Europa, nomeadamente, Alemanha, Itália, Hungria e Luxemburgo e ainda um isolado recebido do Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures (CBS), como sendo Phyllosticta ampelicida, posteriormente reclassificado como Phyllosticta parthenocissi. As características morfológicas, as dimensões dos conídios, as temperaturas cardiais do crescimento micelial e a variabilidade genética intraespecífica (Inter-SImple Sequence Repeat - ISSR) foram estudadas bem como a relação com a idade dos isolados, as castas de que foram obtidos e a origem geográfica. Os resultados dos estudos morfoculturais e de temperatura confirmaram a identidade dos isolados em estudo e revelaram a existência de pequenas diferenças entre isolados, confirmadas pela análise molecular efetuada. Os testes de patogenicidade de um grupo de isolados foram realizados em videiras da casta Fernão Pires mantidas em estufa de campo. A totalidade dos isolados de P. ampelicida testados revelou ser patogénica para a videira contudo, não foi possível estabelecer uma relação entre a virulência e a idade dos isolados, a casta de que foram obtidos ou a proveniência nacional ou europeia
