Degree. So, the main purpose of this study is turned to questions related to adolescents, placing them in two different forming instances: school and television. The present work, was carried out as a qualitative research and consisted of a case study and a didactic experiment with teachers and students during the year of 1994, in a suburban public school , in Campinas, a city in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The topics below make part of the corpus of the present Thesis: * information obtained by a case study about a school, its teachers, and specifically on the 5th years; * information attained on one of the researched class (5th year B ), the students interests and problems as well as their relation with the school/ television and the soap opera; * a systematised and analysed experiment through the Communication Pedagogy. All the activities carried out to study the daily school life were led to the usage of the Communication Pedagogy through a teaching-research experiment. The experimentation tried to make the teaching and learning process dynamic and interesting by the intentional crossing of knowledge social instances: school, television and students daily life. We have obtained the students participation and along with them the work could be accomplished in a sharing atmosphere where dialogue and cultural satisfaction as well as a co-operative knowledge construction could always be noticed. On the other hand, many of the foreseen objectives to be reached with the teachers could not be accomplished totally. The real activities carried out with the students and teachers are described in the following pages and make the corpus of the present research.

Texte intégralThe purpose of this research is to reflect in a pedagogic perspective on the relationship between parents and adolescents. Today’s society, with its pluralism of values, drives adolescents to look at unpredictability as to a constitutive factor of their own identity. The tendency to individualization typical of our society often takes root first in the adult world itself. Young people are the mirror of the life styles that the adult world transmits them. In a pedagogic perspective, based on trust and hope, it’s important to steadily look at young people as to an essential resource for the future. The true values of life should represent for adolescents a path,an aware and responsible choice of life and adults that are close to them should help them in achieving this. Their parents have the responsibility to make their children understand and urge them to be themselves, to live without negative external conditionings, to create meaningful relationships, to plan their future. Education is a relationship between people, characterized by love, by giving oneself, by a mutual respect and should aim above all at everybody’s freedom. The most precious gift is that of teaching one’s own children love and in love and the family is the most important educational and human resource in this sense.

Abstract: From my experience as art educator in home theater at Fundação Casa sought to question: What is the understanding and the meaning attributed to the work of art educator ("Acting teacher") in socio-educational centers? Conducting semi-structured interviews with art teachers ministering to theater workshops in socio-educational centers that integrante the "Arte para todos" (Art for All), coordinated by the Ong GADA ( Group of Support to Sick of AIDS) which is a partner of Fundação Casa in Ribeirão Preto SP, and to enlarge the scope of this survey also interviewed young inmates . Through the narrative of the interviewees, this research aimed to examine aspects of the work of art educator in space under socio, and clashes of working with art education in this context. Were used in this study as support material, reports the development of theatrical workshops on socio-educational centers ( developed by me ) as well as dramas created by teenagers , enriched by photographic records and accounts from former students , relating to the participation in the workshop theater . The description of the theatrical process conducted with adolescents propitiated by a hand under the questioning and the field of art education and part of Acting pedagogy , but also enabled establishing connections between the yet incipient process of professionalization process of social professions such as Social education . Contradicitions between personal experience of art-educators from the Centeres (mini and the interviewed¿s) and the propositions from Fundação Casa¿s Art and Culture, in the sense of as how to put it to practice, were made noticed. In reporting respondents were indications that aesthetic and artistic practices afforded by theatrical art show that the work of art educator with youth in conflict with the law creates subsidies for art , resignifique the workspace of youth centers although the theatrical processes experienced these young men are intermittent

Abstract: The present research had as objective to investigate the social representation that professors in initial formation has of the adolescence and of adolescent and the influence that in the expectations of practical pedagogical of the future professor. The data had been gotten through questionnaire and analyzed on the basis of the Analysis of Content. The research indict that for the futures professors the adolescence seems to be represented as a period of transistion for the adult age, a period when the identity is in formation. Living this period, considered special, for the participants, the adolescent is represented as rebellious, aggressive, unstable, dependent, with great auto-affirmation necessity, with group trend and identity in formation. Faced with of these representations, we saw that the expectations of practical pedagogical point ways materialize in some types of professor: the professor "well-disposed", the bad, super-competent and the authoritarian, all with the objective to control adolescence and the adolescent behavior. A fifth type of professor it appeared very discrete: that one that considers the adolescence as one condition imposed for society and that it was and it is constructed historical, cultural e socially, that in them it indicates a change in the practical professor. The formed picture it presents us sufficiently positive expectations of practical, but, despite this, we perceive that deeply they are marked by those social representations of adolescence and adolescent, that are negative

Texte intégralThis study is an analysis of educational practices and programs for children and adolescents in a shelter along the national history. Currently known as shelter, this practice is guaranteed by Law 8069/90 as a measure of protection and their social service units are understood as socio-educational spaces. Empirical research carried out in three different institutions during the study presents evidence that its educational nature is still far from the ideal of integral development envisaged by the law, prevailing practices based on disrespect to the subjectivity of those who should be the reason for their existence. This study seeks to make a historical review of these practices, followed by the presentation of the current reality observed through participant observation, for further discussion and proposal of a social-educational work that is really significant for the institutionally accepted in these spaces.
