Plus précisement, cette étude se penche sur la portée culturelle de ces livres dans la culture nord-américaine. Une attention particulière est porté à la façon dont la religion musulmane est représentée et, par conséquent, relayée au grand public nord-américain. Enfin, ce document examinera comment ces mémoires et d'autres similaires peuvent être utilisés en classe pour sensibiliser les élèves aux dangers de l'islamophobie.
