Texte intégralThe purpose of this study is to investigate those approaches to knowledge that exist in music in the Swedish curriculum, and how these approaches are related to the recommendations about content and judgment for teachers in aesthetic subjects written by the National Agency for Education. The study is a literary and conceptual study presenting analyses of selected documents from the National Agency for Education in how to make judgements of knowledge in school, and the curriculum for instrumental and voice instruction in the upper secondary school. The theoretical framework of the study is based on three different perspectives concerning the concept of knowledge. In the chapter on background there is also a presentation regarding methods on judgement as applied by current professionals in the field of music education. The chapter containing the findings presents analyses in how a knowledge of music is represented in the documents from the National Agency for Education. It is clear that music is actually a consolidation of several types of approaches to knowledge. To categorize knowledge it is necessary to clarify what type of judgment that is best suited for a specific occasion. This study calls attention to the fact that judgments often used are an effective tool for teachers in encouraging students to improve their performance.

Texte intégralAbstract Background: Music is well known to affect people and has been used to promote healing. Music is used, for example, for patients with dementia and for patients waking up during surgery. Regional anesthesia associated with surgery brings several benefits to the patient to be operated. There are several studies showing the positive impact of music on patient wellbeing before and after surgery. Aim: The purpose of the literature study was to compile research into the impact of music on the patient in regional anesthesia during surgery. Method: The method was a literature review. In the result 13 articles were included, both qualitative and quantitative. The analysis method used was integrated data analysis and the results were presented in the form of categories and undercategories. Result: Patients' anxiety decreased when they listened to music under regional anesthesia. Patients described that they experienced a sense of well-being and were more satisfied after surgery if they had listened to music. Vital parameters such as blood pressure and pulse rate were found to decrease when using music. Some patients felt that the pain decreased. However, there were included studies that did not show any significant difference in the respective categories. Discussion: Music may have a positive effect during surgery with regional anesthesia. Different instruments are used to measure anxiety, which can affect the outcome. In some studies, patients were given the choice of music themselves. The music was recorded in various forms, such as headphones or in the operating room. These factors make it difficult to draw a generalizable result. Conclusion: The result shows that music can have a positive impact both physically and mentally on patients who listened to music during surgery. Nurse anesthetists should offer music at regional anesthesia and patients can benefit from choosing music themselves as it proved to be of good effect.

But he tackles them in a very personal manner, which enables him to overcome them and to question a certain idea of literature, transforming the threat of self-destruction into a positive approach, similar to that of psychoanalysis. After the upheaval of the first world war he will endeavour to find a compromise - never really achieved - which will lead to the writing of the "man without qualities", a work which, however, retains an indelible mark from that founding crisis

Texte intégralUppsatsen jämför det figurativa språket i Bob Dylans skivor The Times They Are A-Changin’ (1964) och Highway 61 Revisited (1965), med ett fokus på hur Dylan fortsatte vara engagerad inom samhällsfrågor och mänskliga rättigheter när han gick över från akustisk solomusik till att leda ett rockband. Uppsatsen argumenterar för att Dylan behöll sin kritiska syn på samhällsfrågor, och att poetens användning av figurativt språk blev mer expressivt och komplext i det senare albumet. I det tidigare albumet är Dylans kritik, som den framstår i hans användning av figurativt språk, presenterad mer direkt i jämförelse med Highway 61 Revisited, där det figurativa språket är mer levande och innehåller en mer förtäckt kritik.
