Recently, a global market for anti-aging skin care using botanicals has been noticeably developing. Morin, 3,5,7,2′,4′-pentahydroxyflavone, is a polyphenol with many pharmacological properties including antioxidant, anti-inflammation and photoprotection. However, poor aqueous solubility of morin restricts its application in pharmaceuticals. The present study aimed to encapsulate morin into liposomal vesicles to improve its water solubility and skin penetration, and further investigated its ROS inhibition and anti-aging activity in HaCaT keratinocytes induced by particulate matters (PMs). Our data presented that morin was a strong DPPH• radical scavenger. Morin displayed a remarkable ROS inhibitory ability and protected keratinocytes against PMs by downregulating matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) expression via suppressing p-ERK and p-p38 in the MAPK pathway. Moreover, water solubility of liposomal morin (LM) prepared by the thin film hydration method was significantly better than free form of morin due to particle size reduction of LM. Our results also demonstrated that deformable liposomal vesicles were achieved for increasing dermal absorption. Additionally, LM (morin:lecinolws-50:tween-80:PF-68, 1:2.5:2.5:5) was able to effectively reduce generation of ROS, inactivate p-ERK, p-p38 and MMP-1 in HaCaT cells exposed to PM. In conclusion, our findings suggested that LM would be a bright candidate for various topical anti-aging and anti-pollution products.

Este estudo se firma numa pesquisa qualitativa do tipo bibliográfica de aprofundamento teórico com base nas concepções de Morin (1999, 2011, 2015, 2017); Nóvoa (2014); Reali e Mizukami (2000); Silva (2016); Rojo & Moura (2012), dentre outros trazidos ao debate. Dessa forma, espera-se, com tais diálogos, oportunizar uma discussão acerca da aprendizagem da docência tendo em vista os processos de multiletramentos para a formação do professorado.

Este artigo analisa como a Amazônia é representada no filme “Tainá – Uma aventura na Amazônia” (2001). O objetivo é verificar se a obra citada está apoiada no reforço de estereótipos regionais e clichês culturais. Como embasamento teórico, optou-se por seguir o pensamento complexo de Edgar Morin, em diálogo com a ideia de “invenção da Amazônia”, trabalhada por Neide Gondim, e com as noções trabalhadas em “A Sociedade do Espetáculo”, por Guy Debord. O trabalho foi elaborado a partir de pesquisas bibliográficas e da observação do filme em questão. Conforme a análise realizada, foi possível constatar que a região é representada de forma exótica e seus personagens reforçam estereótipos cristalizados pelo senso comum. A bandeira da sustentabilidade e da preservação ambiental serve como um discurso superficial para justificar a proposta ecológica do filme.
Abstract
This paper examines how the Amazon is represented in the film Taina - An adventure in the Amazon (2001). The aim is to check that the aforementioned work is supported in strengthening stereotypes regional and cultural pastiche. As theoretical basis opted for Edgar Morin in dialogue with the idea of the Invention of the Amazon, crafted by Neide Gondim and The Society of the Spectacle by Guy Debord. The work was developed from literature searches and empirical observation of the film in question. According to the analysis, it was found that the region is represented exotically and his characters reinforce stereotypes crystallized by common sense. The flag of sustainability and environmental protection serves only as a superficial speech to justify the ecological proposal of the movie.

Le Temps du ghetto (Frédéric Rossif) and Chronique d’un été (Jean Rouch and Edgar Morin), both released in 1961, are the first French documentary films featuring Jewish survivors recounting their persecutions during World War 2 in front of a camera. The appearance of Shoah survivors in cinema is commonly assessed as a consequence of the 1961 Eichmann trial. This article aims to take a different stance, highlighting the mise-en-scène of these two particular films, which invite a survivor to symbolically relive his traumatic past in front of the film crew and showing that this cathartic process is used similarly twenty years later in selected sequences of Claude Lanzmann’s Shoah.

One of the countries in Europe with the biggest refugee crisis is Greece and triggers the emergence of refoulement. The non-refoulement principle is an absolute form protection for a refugee and must be obeyed by all ratifying countries. On that basis, Greece needs an additional assistance from the European Union as a regional organization that houses most European countries. This study aims to explain the commitment of the European Union in fulfilling the principle of non-refoulement to the refugee crisis in Greece, especially after the fire incident at Camp Moria. This research is a normative legal research with a statute approach and a conceptual approach. The sources of legal materials used are based on 1951 Convention on the Status of Refugees also the non-refoulement principle. The technique of collecting legal materials used is library research and analyzed through inductive analysis techniques. The results showed that the condition of the refugee crisis in Greece especially after the fire at Camp Moria was so alarming where the refugees are in danger of being refoulemented. In dealing with the refugee crisis that occurred in Greece, the European Union has tried to issue policies and decisions but the policies have not been implemented optimally.

Film Nothing Special merupakan film pendek yang menceritakan seorang mahasiswa yang memilki segalanya baik materil maupun moril. Lala memiliki karakter yang kasar dan sombong, Lala sangat dengan mudah untuk melakukan perbuatannya dengan temannya dan memerintahkan sesuai dengaan keinginannya. Penelitian ini menganalisis penggambaran perempuan sebagai pelaku kekerasan dalam film Nothing Special. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis representasi, yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan konstruksi ideologis dan wacana mengenai perempuan dan rasisme dalam film Nothing Special. Hasilnya, didapati bahwa seseorang perempuan yang merasa paling benar dan karena mempunyai uang yang banyak jadi ia dapat membeli segala dan memarahi teman-temannya. Ketika teman-temannya merasa kesal dengan peran utama perempuan yaitu Lala maka mereka mencuri dan menyiksa perempuan tersebut atas perbuatannya kepada mereka dan disinilah peniliti ingin membahas atau mengkaji representasi rasisme antar perempuan dengan teman yang kurang mampu dan mudah untuk dibully sesuka keinginan Lala.

Jean-Pierre Melville a réalisé treize longs-métrages dans sa carrière cinématographique. Parmi ces treize films réalisés entre 1946 et 1972, sept sont des adaptations. Le réalisateur et scénariste, à travers ces films tirés de classiques de la littérature française, aborde deux genres littéraires : le roman historique et le roman policier. C’est en conjuguant ses souvenirs autobiographiques de guerre et de Résistance à la fiction littéraire, que Melville s’intéresse au roman historique dans son premier film Le Silence de la mer (1949). Dans les années 60, il reprend le genre historique afin d’adapter Léon Morin, prêtre (1961) puis L’Armée des ombres (1969). En parallèle, Melville développe une passion immodérée pour le cinéma américain qui l’entraîne tout naturellement vers l’adaptation du roman policier. Melville en adaptant Le Doulos (1962), L’Aîné des Ferchaux (1963) puis Le Deuxième Souffle (1967), devient un véritable maître dans le genre du film noir. Cet article s’intéresse ainsi à l’adaptation dans le cinéma de Melville, à travers ces deux genres littéraires, ainsi qu’à l’évolution de la pratique de l’adaptation au fil de sa carrière cinématographique mais également à ses choix de mise en scène.

Two Men and a Wardrobe: Photographic Motifs and Metaphors in Roman Polanski’s Short Films This paper attempts to explore the photographic metaphors (Bernd Stiegler’s categories) and motifs drawing on photographic techniques and practices in three short films directed by Roman Polanski while still a student (Two Men and a Wardrobe, Teeth Smile, Murder). Metaphors and motifs originating in the technical, practical, mythopoetic, and anthropologic aspect of photography—e.g. mirror, doubling, doppelgänger, shade, voyeurism, murder, mortification/vivification—used in Polanski’s early film narratives refer to copying vs. creating, reproducing a fragment of the world vs. developing it anew, exploring “reality” vs. illusion, “truth” vs. imagination, optics vs. metaphysics, and produce an autonomous space of meanings and possible interpretations. The theoretical framework of the analysis is provided by selected threads in the theory and philosophy of photography drawn from the works of Bernd Stiegler, Roland Barthes, Edgar Morin, Susan Sontag, John Szarkowski, and Edouard Pontremoli.

The present work is presented as an approach between the notion of the imaginary with the theory of the film viewer, formulated in 1956 by Edgar Morin, in his classic text The cinema or the imaginary man and enlarged by Francesco Casetti with the thesis of the enunciation in the cinema. In this way, the main objective of this article is to capture theoretical bases from the reflection of both conceptualizations. Thus, this initiatory work aims to be an epistemological contribution to future research projects. For this, at the methodological level, an initial theoretical path is developed that has its anchor -and its respective critical reading- in the contributions of Gilbert Durand and Cornelius Castoriadis, in the permanent concern of both for “drawing” those elements inherent in anthropos that allow the construction of their historical-social environment from subjectivity. The latter conceived as intrinsic peculiarity to the human being. It is concluded that through an artificial-imaginary state the viewer feels close and is able to recognize the reality of the images that the big screen offers him, coming into direct contact with his fantasies, fears and dreams. In other words, here the double dimension of the film is observed as an artifact and as a subjective experience.

Ethnoveterinary practices are important because they are easily available, inexpensive and effective, especially in rural areas where veterinary services are absent or irregular and expensive. The need to obtain information on ethnoveterinary practice in poultry in Ilara-mokin in Ondo State Nigeria formed the basis of the study. The study investigated the ethnoveterinary practice in poultry in Ilara-mokin, Ondo State Nigeria. Data used were collected from rural poultry farmers in the community using an open ended interview with the use of questionnaire and were analysed by means of simple average and percentages. The study revealed that female dominated 83.3% rural poultry production within age of 36-50 (50%) and no formal education (50%) and were mostly Christians (100%) and traders (55.56%). The ethnoveterinary practice in the study area include medicinal plants, palm oil, fire and so on. Seven medicinal plants belonging to seven families were discovered. The leaves, roots and fruit from the medicinal plants were used for treating poultry diseases. Ten diseases were discovered in poultry birds. Indigenous knowledge of the diseases in poultry birds were recorded. The economy of the state can be improved by increasing the health status of poultry birds.

It has been argued that the dynamic effects of economic development through innovation are poorly understood by mainstream economic theory. This paper provides a conceptual and heuristic framework that is intended to move us closer to a dynamic growth model of the firm in a high-tech, knowledge based economy. A Cobb-Douglas production function with components of high tech capital and skills and with assumptions on the origin of innovative processes is being introduced to provide structure to the arguments. By drawing on the strategic groundwork of management theorists Moran and Ghoshal, it proceeds by applying an “appreciative” hypothesis of economic development (that is, a descriptive tool rather than a formal model) to test a Schumpeterian scenario of iterative creative destruction, thus answering the call for a dynamic Schumpeterian process. It also provides a response to the call for a broadened agenda to include a greater degree of attention to the selection [and de-selection] mechanism that influences the use of resources. These issues and others are investigated and some conjectures offered.

This work focused on Chiang Mai Province, Thailand, had 2 targets which were 1) to analyse spatial distribution patterns of hotspot and 2) to analyse a relationship between hotspot and vegetation indices in the area. The hotspots data of 2016 - 2020 which had a significant level > 70% were gathered from MODIS satellite images, was provided by Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS). An analyse method was performed by Nearest Neighbour Index (NNI) with Moran? s I to present spatial distribution patterns and density of hotspot. Analysis of Getis - Ord Gi* statistic was for identify heat of hotspot comparing with surrounding area. Moreover, vegetation indices values (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index: NDVI, Soil Adjustment Vegetation Index: SAVI and Normalized Difference Water Index: NDWI) was examined by satellite images of the same period from Landsat 8 OLI to analyse a relationship between hotspot and each vegetation index. The results illustrated that there were different number of hotspots over 5 studying years, especially in 2016 which had the most hotspot. The spatial distribution of hotspot patterns was classified as clustered type (Getis - Ord Gi* statistic with Z-Score > 1.96) with different hotspot density in each year. The area which had high heat was found in upper and west area with medium to high hotspots density. The hotspot and NDVI had relationship in contrast by a correlation coefficient value at -.887 (r = -.887) with a significant level at .05. However, SAVI and NDWI had no relationship with hotspot.

Det er i dag en udbredt antagelse, at stofmisbrug og stofafhængighed først og fremmest er et spørgsmål om sammenhængen mellem stof og adfærd, forstået på den måde at det er stofferne i sig selv og deres virkning, der har frembragt en stor gruppe af socialt marginaliserede og på en lang række områder svært belastede stofmisbrugere. Hensigten med denne artikel er at vise, at der står meget mere på spil. I sine forsøg på at komme stofproblemerne til livs har samfundet især satset på to redskaber: kriminalisering og behandling. Disse former for respons har på deres side været af afgørende betydning for den situation og de handlemuligheder, som stofmisbrugere i og uden for behandlingssystemet har måttet forholde sig til gennem de sidste mange år. Med Danmark som hovedeksempel vil jeg i det følgende illustrere, hvordan brugen af opiater såvel som samfundets holdninger og interventioner i forhold hertil har undergået forandringer gennem de seneste godt og vel 100 år. Artiklen falder i fire dele. Den første del er en introduktion til og problematisering af de begreber, som anvendes i forhold til karakteristikken af stof(mis)brugsproblematikken. Det drejer sig først og fremmest om begreberne stofmisbrug og afhængighed. I anden del opridses udviklingen af opiatforbrugets historie fra den overvejende lægeudskrevne morfin til heroinens indtog i 1970’erne. Her vises det, at morfinbrugerne indtil 1940’erne repræsenterede alle samfundslag og at fænomenet ikke gav anledning til den moralsk fordømmelse, samfundsdebat og -indgriben, som det blev tilfældet, da socialt afvigende gruppers forbrug af stimulanser efter 2. verdenskrig og ikke mindst nye og yngre grupper af brugere med hidtil ukendte forbrugsmønstre, blev synlige i løbet af 1960’erne. Tredje del omhandler behandlingstiltagenes historie. Fokus hviler her på metadonbehandlingen, som i løbet af de seneste 20 år har udviklet sig til at blive den dominerende behandlingsform på området, og som fra begyndelsen og til i dag synes at være kendetegnet ved en halvhjertet eller modvillig behandlingsindsats, et dilemma, som dybest set synes at bestå i moralsk og politisk modvilje mod at behandle stofafhængighed med et afhængighedsskabende middel. Den fjerde og sidste del handler om brugernes perspektiver på metadon og metadonbehandling. Det vil her fremgå, at samfundets ambivalens til såvel stofmisbrug, stofmisbrugere og metadonbehandling afspejler sig i metadonbrugernes oplevelser af behandlingen, det være sig som klienter i behandlingssystemet såvel som borgere. På trods af at de i deres hverdag får mulighed for at erstatte det illegale stofbrug med legal medicin, er det en gennemgående oplevelse, at deres ’stofmisbrugerstatus’ hænger ved, og at systemet fastholder dem i en marginaliseret og uværdig position. Formålet med denne artikel er altså kort sagt at beskrive stofmisbrug som et samfundsmæssigt produceret problem og skal ses som et forsøg på at nuancere den relativt rodfæstede forestilling om, at stofmisbrugere er karakter- og viljesvage personer, der dybest set selv er skyld i deres elendighed. Artiklens historiske vinkel på kriminalisering og behandling af stofmisbrug viser, at stofmisbrugere skabes af særlige samfundsmæssige vilkår, hvilket på sin side skaber de billeder, der fremstilles af dem. Stoffers og stofbrugeres status er således hverken statisk eller absolut, men udvikles i et samspil mellem ideologiske, moralske, politiske og videnskabelige fortolkninger, definitioner og interventioner.

In the 1950s Anna Magnani played an important role in the internationalization of European stardom, becoming the first Italian actress to win an Oscar in 1955. She was 46 years old and had reached international success at the age of 37. Related to the aesthetical concerns of Italian Neorealism, and considered a pioneer in modern representation of female psychology and desire, Magnani’s case puts into question the idea that, according to Edgar Morin, grace, beauty and youth are sine qua non conditions to become a star. Between 1955 and 1960 the actress participated in three Hollywood movies along with mentoring figures such as Tennessee Williams and producer Hal B. Wallis: The Rose Tattoo (Daniel Mann, 1955), Wild is the Wind (George Cukor, 1957) and The Fugitive Kind (Sidney Lumet, 1959). Magnani’s Hollywood films suggest a kind of tailor-made melodrama, concerned in documenting her unique performative style while Hollywood experiences a great renewal of dramatic patterns and acting models. These titles also share a common subject: a passionate mature woman in crisis who, attracted to a younger man, experiences a personal rebirth closely linked to the raise of her sexuality and desire. Through the analysis of these films and how they relate to Magnani’s stardom construction in the Italian postwar, this article investigates the role of the actress in the transit of the 1950s to the 1960s. A season of great transformations in world cinema in which Hollywood, apparently interested in documenting Magnani’s uniqueness, has probably ended up discussing some of the greatest taboos in classic movies: aging over women’s bodies, erotism between mature femininity and young masculinity, or the experience of sex and passion according to a female character who remains the subject of its own desire.

The statistical method used to analyze spatial data and spatial statistics. The case study in this study is the average number of hotspots in East Kalimantan by Regency / City in 2016-2018. This study aims to analyze the presence or absence of spatial autocorrelation in the data on the number of hotspots, determine the distribution pattern of hotspots, as well as determine the level of vulnerability of potential areas for forest and land fires in East Kalimantan by Regency / City in 2016-2018. The method used to analyze spatial autocorrelation globally and determine the distribution patterns is the Moran Index. Local Indicator of Spatial Autocorrelation (LISA) to analyze spatial autocorrelation locally. Spatial autocorrelation analysis results globally using the Moran Index with α = 25% shows that there is a spatial autocorrelation in the average number of hotspots in East Kalimantan in 2016-2018. The distribution pattern of hotspots in East Kalimantan is the pattern of spread which shows that in 2016-2018 the hotspots spread in each district / city of East Kalimantan. Meanwhile, the results of the local analysis using LISA showed that there were spatial autocorrelations in several districts / cities in East Kalimantan. The method used to determine the level of vulnerability of potential forest and land fires is Flexibly Shaped Spatial Scan Statistics and LISA. The results showed that the regencies / cities included in the category of forest and land fire hazard were Samarinda City, Bontang City, Kutai Kartanegara District and East Kutai.

We studied the striction magnetoelectric effect in hybrid systems consisting of a magnetic film deposited on the ferroelectric surface. Films with planar (galfenol, nickel) and perpendicular (multilayer Co / Pt structures) magnetic anisotropy were used. PMN-PT crystal was used, as a ferroelectric. The hysteresis loops of magnetic films were investigated as a function of the voltage, applied to a ferroelectric crystal. In films with “easy plane” type anisotropy, a rotation of the axis directions in the plane of the sample was detected upon application of electric voltage. In structures with an "easy axis" type anisotropy, a change in the shape of the hysteresis loop is observed, which, according to the simulation, which can be associated with a change in the Dzyaloshinsky – Morii surface interaction at the Co and Pt interface

A great deal has been made of the boom in audiovisual production based in southern Queensland (and to some extent in northern Queensland) in the 1990s. This follows a pattern throughout the so-called ‘revival’ period (since the early 1970s) in Australia which has seen successive moments of regional upsurge. In the 1970s, it was South Australia, under the energetic leadership of the South Australian Film Corporation, that saw many of the best feature films and several of the early historical mini-series of the early revival period made in that state (see, for example, Moran). During the early to mid-1980s, Western Australia, with the location of bold production houses such as Barron Films and strong independent documentary traditions, offered robust regional opportunities, culminating in such memorable films as Shame and Fran.

The dry lowland and mangrove forests of Kutai National Park (KNP) in Indonesia provide invaluable ecosystem services to local human populations (>200,000 in number), serve as immense carbon sinks to recapture anthropogenic emissions, and safeguard habitats for thousands of wildlife species including the critically endangered Northeast Bornean orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus morio). With recent reports of ongoing illegal logging and large–scale wildfires within this National Park, we sought to leverage the extensive catalogue and processing power of Google Earth Engine to track the rates and influences of forest loss within KNP over various time periods since 1997. We present estimates of forest loss from the Hansen Global Forest Change v1.9 dataset (2000–2021) which detected a loss of 15% (272 km2) of forest cover within KNP since 2000, half of which (137 km2) coincided with the El Niño–induced wildfires of 2015–2016. Using the MCD64A1 C6.1 MODIS dataset, we found significant spatial overlap between burned area and forest loss detections during the 2015–2016 period but identified considerable omissions in the burned area dataset over smallholder farms within KNP. We discuss the implications of deforestation in areas of primary orangutan habitat and how patterns of forest loss have influenced drought and fire dynamics within KNP. Finally, we compare time–series estimates of precipitation, the ENSO index, burned area, and forest loss to demonstrate that fire risk within KNP depends largely—but not exclusively—on drought severity, and that rates of non–fire (gradual) and fire–related (extreme) forest loss threaten the remaining forests of this National Park.

This study aimed to analyze the ownership structures and corporate governance. Good corporate governance helps companies become more efficient, improve access to finance, reduce risk, and avoid substandard governance (Kontogeorga et al., 2022; Mustafa & Morina, 2022; Prasad et al., 2022; Lapina et al., 2016; Raja & Kostyuk, 2015). The study has followed a qualitative research paradigm and systematic review protocol, specifically the PRISMA technique, and included 65 papers published in journals with impact factors during the timeline of 2010–2022, focusing on Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the US by taking topics like time, article type, regions, topics, theory breakdown for ownership structure, theory breakdown for corporate governance, and research methods. It was found that most of the papers were published in 2022. The majority of the articles were empirical, and most were published in Europe. The mainstream papers were related to corporate governance. The theory used in the breakdown of ownership structure was the firm theory, while for corporate governance, the theory was the agency theory, and most of the articles utilized the analysis method. The study recommended that, despite significant research in this area, further research is still needed, especially in developed countries. Most research work is experimental and, and therefore, requires a substantial amount of conceptual work.

Artykuł stanowi analizę filmu Duch roju w reżyserii Víctora Erice (1973). Film ten jest klasycznym przykładem produkcji, którą można odczytać na co najmniej kilku poziomach. Jako że powstał w czasach dyktatury generała Francisca Franco, niektórzy badacze wskazują w nim tropy historyczne, inni z kolei koncentrują się na wątkach psychologicznych. Nie brakuje też głosów odnoszących się do czysto kinofilskiej oceny filmu Erice. Po pierwsze, akcja rozgrywa się w czasie wojny domowej w Hiszpanii. Po drugie, w układzie wszystkich wydarzeń dominuje perspektywa psychologiczna. Po trzecie, pierwszym punktem zwrotnym w fabule jest projekcja Frankensteina w reżyserii Jamesa Whale’a (1931). I właśnie ten element jest punktem wyjścia analizy dokonanej w artykule. Projekcja Frankensteina staje się przełomem w życiu głównej bohaterki, Any (Ana Torrent). Być może właśnie w tej postaci – i to w całej historii kina – najpełniej wyraziła się teoria filmu według koncepcji Edgara Morina wyłożona w książce Kino i wyobraźnia (1956): dla francuskiego badacza kino czerpie z magii, na tym polega jego fenomen.

Background: Due to the growing resistance of causative microorganisms to previous generations of antibiotics and to the risk of post-op infectious complications associated with it, an efficacy and safety assessment of modern fluoroquinolones’ prophylactic topical administration appears to be reasonable. Purpose: To investigate the efficacy and safety of levofloxacin 0.5 % ophthalmic solution (Oftaquix®, Santen, Finland) topical use in modern excimer laser refractive surgery (LASIK). Material and methods: Patients were randomized into two treatment groups: Thirty two patients (64 eyes) were treated with levofloxacin 0.5 % ophthalmic solution (Oftaquix®, Santen, Finland) b.i.d. and thirty patients (60 eyes) received tobramycine 0.3 % eye drops (Tobrex®, Alcon-Couvreur, Belgium) q. t.d., both during first 7 days post-op. LASIK procedure using excimer laser MEL-80 (Carl Zeiss Meditec, Germany) and mechanical microkeratome LSK Moria Evolution-2 (Moria, France) was performed in all patients for myopia from –1.0 to –12.0 D. Patient’s age varied from 18 to 40 years (mean age 28.4±7.8). Results: During topical application of Oftaquix® and Tobrex® in our refractive surgery patients there were no topical, or systemic adverse reactions, or allergic reactions. Oftaquix® and Tobrex® had good topical tolerability. Therapeutic dosage regimen, sufficient in terms of anti-infective prophylaxis, in case of Oftaquix® was twice as low in comparison to Tobrex®. Tear film break-up time (TFBUT) preand post-op was comparable between groups. In both groups, TFBUT post-op was significantly lower compared to pre-op values (p < 0.01). Tear production (Shirmer-I test) in both groups remained almost the same (p > 0.05). Conclusion: Oftaquix® (Santen, Finland) ophthalmic solution is effective and safe for prevention of infectious complications after LASIK and appears to be a rational alternative to tobramycine 0.3 % eye drops (Tobrex®, Alcon-Couvreur, Belgium).

The establishment of supply chain innovation enterprises is conducive to maximizing production efficiency, deepening the division of labor mechanism in all links, and promoting supply-side structural reform. In order to study the factors related to the distribution of supply chain innovation enterprises, this study was based on the pilot list of the first and second batches of supply chain innovation enterprises in Zhejiang Province from 2017 to 2019, and based on the geographical location points of 187 enterprises. The POI data were analyzed with the GeoDa 1.20 and ArcMap 10.8 systems, using tools such as the Moran index, nearest neighbor index, point density estimation, standard deviational ellipse, etc. The analysis results show that the distribution characteristics and influencing factors of supply chain innovation enterprises in Zhejiang Province demonstrate global autocorrelation and a high degree of local aggregation, forming a “one main multi-point” distribution with Hangzhou as the center. The influencing factors are mainly affected by employment density and local economy, and there are multi-factor interactions. Finally, this study puts forward suggestions for the improvement of supply chain innovation enterprises, hoping to promote the sustainable development of supply chain innovation enterprises.

Résumé Siegfried Kracauer, exilé aux États-Unis depuis 1939, s’intéresse de près au projet de Cohen-Séat et aux travaux de l’Institut de filmologie, ce dont témoignera Theory of Film en 1960. S’il doit renoncer à participer au 1er Congrès de filmologie de 1947, c’est dans les colonnes de la Revue internationale de filmologie que paraît pour la première fois en Europe, en 1948, son introduction méthodologique à From Caligari to Hitler, sous le titre « Sociologie du cinéma ». Ce texte, qui sera suivi d’une autre étude consacrée aux types nationaux dans le cinéma américain, servira de modèle à la branche sociologique de l’Institut, considérée d’emblée comme centrale par les fondateurs du mouvement et que dirige Georges Friedmann. Edgar Morin y débutera et se montrera très proche de Kracauer jusqu’au milieu des années 1950 avant d’adopter une autre orientation de nature plutôt anthropologique. Avec le déplacement de la pensée de Cohen-Séat du côté des théories de l’information et de la communication, l’aspect anthropologique s’accuse encore, aboutissant à la théorie de « l’iconosphère ». D’autre part, se développe une sociologie du public de cinéma et non plus des oeuvres et des courants de pensée collectifs qui s’y matérialisent. L’autre dimension de la méthode kracauérienne de l’appareil psychique « collectif » est mis au second plan au sein de l’Institut au profit de la psychologie expérimentale. L’article qui suit expose cette évolution des rapports entre Kracauer et la filmologie.

Muchos justifican el cambio y cuando profundizamos en nuestra búsqueda, conseguimos que tal realidad es admitida sin ningún tipo de contradicción o parpadeo. Bajo esta confusión, hemos creído que lo científico es lo homogéneo, la única verdad, el único punto de vista, lo incontrastable, lo indiscutible y lo indiscutido. Lo anteriormente citado ha influido notablemente en la percepción contemporánea de la Ciencia. Aunque hoy, justo es reconocerlo, estamos cerca de su redención. Mucho tiene que ver en la nueva lectura la postmodernidad de Foulcault y Vattimo; la visión de la física de Hawking; la psicología del aprendizaje de Piaget y los saberes necesarios de Morin. El método científico, el que así denominamos, nos enseñó un modo seguro de hacer ciencia. Similar a la seguridad del barco que hace una navegación de cabotaje, bordeando la orilla. Parecido a la seguridad del infante que da sus primeros pasos asido de la baranda de su corral con la certeza de que no va a caer, viendo desde allí de lado al objeto que mira pero le da miedo tocar, porque el intentarlo supone finalmente la posibilidad de caer al no sentirse firme en el desplazamiento o en la aproximación que realiza.

O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar um levantamento sobre as similaridades e incongruências entre uma obra animada e uma realizada em live-action. No artigo, são consideradas questões relevantes sobre as características da animação e da captura fotográfica direta das imagens (no live-action) que contestam os cânones dos Film Studies: o movimento como elemento fundamental da Animação, e não do Cinema Live-Action. Também são analisadas as técnicas animadas e suas diferenças, a relação da animação com a imagem fotorrealista (segundo Roland Barthes, André Bazin e Edgar Morin), considerando o sentido de ilusão. Os estudos de Edmond Couchot e Jean Baudrillard são basilares para as análises sobre a simulação no Audiovisual, assim como os trabalhos de Christian Metz e Jacques Aumont para as avaliações sobre a verossimilhança, a impressão da realidade e a suspensão da descrença, para esses dois tipos de imagens. Ainda são avaliados o sentido de “ficção” das imagens naturalista e conotativa, tanto pela Animação como pelo Cinema Live-Action, observando também os estudos de Norman McLaren e Andrei Tarkovski. Ao final, o artigo conclui que a imagem animada é mais falsa do que a imagem filmada, sempre ligada ao sentido da materialidade cotidiana. Avaliando a forma de se obter uma e outra imagem, a potência da Animação e a contradição histórica da imagem fotorrealista ligada à conhecida como Animação 3D. O texto também finaliza com um resumo de todo o processo analítico, por meio de um enquadramento das características das imagens animadas e filmadas.

In recent years, ecological problems in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River have been frequent. Therefore, exploring its core influences can advance the implementation of “Ecological Protection and High-quality Development of the Yellow River Basin”. This paper constructs an indicator system based on PSR guidelines, evaluates the ecological protection level of 55 cities in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River from 2009 to 2019, and uses correlation analysis with geographically and temporally weighted regression (GTWR) model to explore the spatial distribution characteristics of influencing factors, such as intensity of fertilizer application, amount of agricultural film applied, afforestation area per capita, and green technology innovation level on the ecological protection level. It is found that the overall level of ecological protection has shown a steady increase, but the spatial distribution varies widely. The ecological level increased from 0.2218 to 0.3357, showing a decreasing distribution trend from coastal to inland. Furthermore, it is found that the ecological protection level has a significant positive spatial correlation, mainly for similar clustering. The Global Moran’s I for ecological protection level is greater than 0, and the Moran scatter plot has a high number of cities distributed in the first and third quadrants. There is a heterogeneity in the spatial and temporal distribution of factors influencing the level of ecological protection. Fertilizer application, the agricultural film uses, and afforestation area per capita are mainly negatively affected, while green innovation level has a strong positive effect, and agricultural film use, afforestation area per capita, and green innovation level become the core influencing factor of different regions. Therefore, in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, the ecological protection level should be improved by implementing a regional differentiated development strategy, realizing cross-regional linkages between cities and focusing on differences in core driving factors.

Roosting requirements and movements between foraging areas and roost sites were studied in Eptesicus regulus, E. sagittula, Chalinolobus morio and Nyctophilus geoffroyi in an area of artificially regenerated eucalypt (Eucalyptus) forest surrounded by mature eucalypt forest. Movements between traps and roost sites were normally about 1 km, with the maximum distance recorded being 4.8 km for a female N. geoffroyi. Different species of eucalypts were used as roost sites in proportion to their occurrence in the forest. However, large trees over 80 cm d.b.h. were favoured. There was no tendency to avoid roost sites close to the ground. Spaces used as roost sites had one dimension little greater than the bat itself. Five types of roost sites were distinguished: in fissures, inside burnt-out boles, in hollows, under bark and on the ground. Individuals changed roost sites frequently but roosts used by any one individual were in the same general vicinity. The factors associated with production of roost sites in trees were: large size, overmaturity, death, rot and fire. No bats were found to roost in regenerated forest. Kebakaran adalah timbulnya api yang tidak dikehendaki dan sangat sulit di kendalikan,yang mengakibatkan kerugian berupa material maupun moril,yaitu harta benda, dan korban jiwa manusia. Maka dalam penelitian ini dibuat sistem deteksi kebakaran pada kendaraan berbasis mikrokontroler dan aplikasi map menggunakan IoT yang akan bekerja saat sensor mendeteksi adanya kebakaran sehingga dapat menemukan lokasi kebakaran melalui aplikasi. Sistem dibangun dengan menggunakan tipe arduino NodeMCU ESP8266 sebagai pusat kendali, sensor api sebagai pendeteksi kebakaran, aplikasi telegram sebagai pengirim pesan kebakaran dan modul GPS NEO-6 sebagai pelacak lokasi kebakaran. Sistem ini dibangun dengan menghubungkan sensor api dengan pin input NodeMCU ESP8266. Output dari sistem ini berupa pesan informasi api pada nomor pemilik sistem. Muncul pesan teks seperti “Sensor 1 terdeteksi High fire segera hubungi pemadam kebakaran, dengan nomor 113 atau 1131“ Pesan ini diterima saat terdeteksi adanya kebakaran besar di dalam kendaraan. Aplikasi map akan langsung menampilkan peta lokasi kebakaran sesuai dengan lokasi kebakaran di pesan teks. Setelah dilakukan pengujian, sensor api yang digunakan dapat mencapai jarak kurang lebih 300 cm. NodeMCU ESP8266 dapat mengirimkan perintah pesan api ke Aplikasi Telegram dan pesan teks dapat diterima oleh pemilik sistem dalam waktu kurang dari 30 detik, dengan kesalahan yang terjadi pada Modul GPS NEO-6 sebesar 0,0047% sebagai pembacaan koordinat lokasi

Using the chronovoltammetric method it was shown that on a mercury film electrode in an acidic medium the reduction of oxygen to hydrogen peroxide in the presence of flavonoids is realized as a reversible electrode process followed by a first-order limiting chemical reaction with the participation of the primary product of the electrode reaction – the hydroperoxyl radical. For this type of reaction, in the case of reduction processes, the peak of potential shifts relative to the reversible half-wave potential in the direction of positive potentials. This shift is the larger then the higher the rate constant of the subsequent chemical reaction and the lower the sweep speed of the polarization voltage. To calculate the constants, the half-wave potential of oxygen electroreduction is determined without the addition of a flavonoid. Its value equals to –0.27 V and can be used both in acidic and alkaline media, since it does not change on mercury electrodes in the pH range of 1–9. The reaction rate constants of flavonoids with hydroperoxyl are a characteristic of their antiradical activity. The flavonone groups are the most reactive towards the radical compounds – morin and myricetin. For all studied compounds, the number of electrons participating in the limiting stage varies from 0.96 to 1. This indicates the occurrence of an elementary chemical act of a flavonoid with a radical and the absence of an effect on the kinetics of the investigated reaction of the products of the conversion of flavonoids. The applicability of the presented method for calculating the rate constants to reactions involving active oxygen forms is confirmed by the presence of a high correlation between the data obtained and the reaction rate constants of flavonoids with 2,2′-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical.

Morin hydrate (MH) is a widely-used Asian phytomedicinal flavonoid with a wide range of reported therapeutic activities. However, MH has limited oral bioavailability due to its low aqueous solubility and intestinal permeability, which in turn hinders its potential antiviral activity. The study reported herein was designed to encapsulate MH in polyethyleneglycolated (PEGylated) chylomicrons (PCMs) and to boost its antiviral activity and biological availability for oral administration using a rat experimental model. The PEGylated edge activator combined with the conventional components of chylomicrons (CMs) amplify the transport of the drug across the intestine and its circulation period, hence its therapeutic impact. The implementation of variables in the in vitro characterization of the vesicles was investigated. Using Design Expert® software, a 24 factorial design was conducted, and the resulting PCM formulations were fabricated utilizing a thin-film hydration technique. The efficacy of the formulations was assessed according to their zeta potential (ZP), entrapment efficiency percentage (EE%), amount of drug released after 8 h (Q8h), and particle size (PS) data. Formulation F9, which was deemed to be the optimal formula, used compritol as the lipidic core together in defined amounts with phosphatidylcholine (PC) and Brij52. Computer-aided studies revealed that MH alone in a suspension had both diminished intestinal permeability and absorption, but was enhanced when loaded in PCMs. This was affirmed by the superiority of formulation F9 results in ex vivo permeation and pharmacokinetic studies. Furthermore, formulation F9 had a superior safety profile and antiviral activity over a pure MH suspension. Molecular-docking studies revealed the capability of MH to inhibit MERS-CoV 3CLpro, the enzyme shown to exhibit a crucial role in viral replication. Additionally, F9 suppressed both MERS-CoV-induced histopathological alteration in lung tissue and resulting oxidative and inflammatory biomarkers. Collectively, the results reported herein affirmed the potential of PCMs as nanocarriers for the effective oral administration of MH as an antiviral.

(kedua) untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya perkelahian massal, dan (ketiga) untuk mengetahui upaya untuk menangulangi kenakalan remaja dalam perkelahian massal. Hasil Penelitian (pertama) Penyebab timbulnya kenakalan remaja yang menyebabkan timbulnya perkelahian massal yaitu kejiwaan atau psikis yang banyak menimbulkan konflik batin dan ketidakmampuan atau lemahnya pengendalian diri, sehingga remaja tersebut sulit untuk mengontrol dan berinteraksi dengan lingkungan. Struktur keluarga yang berantakan sangat mempengaruhi perilaku jahat remaja, karena keluarga adalah lingkungan terdekatnya yang membentuk dirinya sejak dini dalam proses perkembangan baik pisik maupun psikisnya. (kedua) Perkelahian massal merupakan salah satu bentuk kenakalan remaja, faktor penyebabnya yaitu faktor internal (dari dalam dirinya) dan faktor eksternal, yaitu faktor lingkungan (keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat), misalnya untuk menunjukan rasa solider dan setia kawan (yang cenderung ngawur), membela nama baik sekolah, persaingan yang bersifat negatif, kurangnya fasilitas angkutan, kompleksnya kehidupan kota besar, penayangan film-film keras di televisi dan sebagainya. (ketiga) Kenakalan remaja dan perkelahian massal antar kelompok tentu saja membawa akibat-akibat yang negatif, yang tidak hanya merugikan dirinya sendiri tetapi juga merugikan orang lain, masyarakat dan pemerintah, baik kerugian yang bersifat materil maupun moril. Upaya untuk menangulangi kenakalan remaja perkelahian massal dilakukan dengan prepentif maupun represif melalui pendekatan moralistik, humaniter atau bila perlu dengan pelaksanaan sistem peradilan pidana berupa penghukuman bagi pelakunya. Adapun saran dalam penelitian ini adalah (pertama) Keluarga (Orang tua) hendaknya dapat meningkatkan suasana kehidupan keluarga yang hangat, harmonis, penuh kasih sayang dan memupuk rasa pengertian antara sesame anggota keluarga. Orang tua juga diharapkan dapat memperhatikan perkembangan anak baik fisiknya maupun psikisnya, memberikan pendidikan yang baik. (kedua) Lembaga pendidikan perlu ditingkatkan kualitasnya bukan saja hanya sebagai tempat menimba ilmu tetapi juga sebagai tempat membentuk kepribadian anak/remaja. (ketiga) Sebaliknya untuk para remaja, hendaknya sadar bahwa dirinya adalah asset bangsa dalam mewujudkan cita-cita pembangunan dan kemerdekaan, jangan mudah terpengaruh oleh hal-hal yang bersifat merusak, harus lebih selektif terhadap lingkungan dan jangan mengembangkan sikap solidaritas atau setia kawan yang cenderung ngawur dan salah arah.

<p align="center"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p align="center"><strong> </strong></p><p>The tradition of <em>Nguras Sendhang</em> (or draining <em>Sendhang</em>) is an hereditary heritage still held until today. Tradition of <em>Nguras Sendhang </em>exists in Klaruan Hamlet, Palur Village, Mojolaban Sub District, Sukoharjo Regency. The tradition is held annually in Besar month of Javanese year using a variety of <em>sesaji</em> (meal offrering), including: <em>nasi tumpeng gurih, golong asahan,</em><em> </em><em>jajan pasar, srundeng, sambel goreng, kerupuk, ingkung, peyek, jerohan (rempelo ati, usus, babat, kebuk, limpa), gudangan, pisang satu tangkep, bunga tujuh warna, takir tujuh</em>. All <em>sesajis</em> were put on the building/<em>pendhopo</em> close to the <em>sendhang</em>. <em>Kondangan</em> rite was attended by all members of society and prayed for by <em>modin</em> or village elders. <em>Sesajis</em> were provided collectively by the members of society and having been prayed for (<em>dikundangi/diujubke</em>) some of <em>sesajis</em> were eaten together and the rest were brought home. The uniqueness of <em>nguras sendhang </em>tradition<em> </em>is that after<em> </em>the <em>kondhangan</em> procession, the people may not bring their own <em>sesaji</em> home but they should bring others’ home. In the <em>nguras sendhang</em> tradition, there was also <em>wayang</em> performance held at night, the cost of which was paid collectively by the members of society. The performance is held along day and night with different narrators (<em>dalangs</em>) but same story. The uniqueness also lies in the narrators who were not allowed to take wage for their job. There is a myth that if this rite is not held, some disasters will occur, one of which is fire. Amorphous Li-oxides such as LiPON and amorphous Li garnet are considered as promising solid-state electrolytes for use in hybrid or all-solid-state oxide- and sulfide-based batteries as separators or protective layers.1-3 These materials possess several appealing characteristics, such as their intrinsic grain-boundary-free nature and relatively low manufacturing temperature (ranging from room temperature to 600 °C), which facilitates co-synthesis with Co-substituted or even Co-free cathodes that are unstable at standard electrolyte sintering temperatures. Alternatively, they can be applied as protective coatings toward Li anodes and other Li-free anode concepts, bridging the electrochemical stability voltage gap with liquid electrolytes or catholytes and preventing uneven interfacial reactions. The amorphous Li-oxides can be classified based on their structural entropy, i.e., the number and types of local bonding units (LBUs). As of today, ‘low entropy’ amorphous LiPON with only one type of LBU achieves the highest cycle number and battery lifetime.4 ‘High entropy’ amorphous Li-ion conductors, such as Li perovskites or Li garnets, exhibit an unusually high number of LBUs. local ordering and the Li-ion dynamics remain poorly understood, in part owing to the difficulty in characterizing their disordered states. This study employed a novel synthesis protocol to stabilize amorphous Al-doped Li garnets, representing so far the highest number of LBUs (≥ 4) in an amorphous Li-ion conductor.5 We resolved their phase evolution and local structures by a combination of spectroscopy, microscopy, and calorimetry techniques. A much wider (<680 °C) but processing-friendly temperature range was identified to stabilize various amorphous phases with edge- and face-sharing Zr, La, and Li LBUs that do not conform to the formation rules for Zachariasen’s glasses. These amorphous Li-ion conductors reveal an unusual setting in which Li and Zr act as network formers and La acts as a network modifier, with the highest Li-dynamics observed for smaller Li–O and Zr–O coordination among the amorphous phases. Our insight provides fundamental guidelines for the phase, local structure, and Li-transport modulation for amorphous Li garnets and pave the way for their integration in next-generation solid-state or hybrid battery designs with enhanced safety and lifetime. Dielectric layers are deposited on semiconductor materials for many applications, either in the active stacks of the devices (e.g. the gate dielectric in a metal-oxide-semiconductor transistor) or as passivation solutions (e.g. in image sensors [1], solar cells [2] etc.). The progress at the material and technology levels must be accompanied by the development of new characterization tools. One of the challenges in terms of characterization is to obtain the information on the electrical quality of the dielectric-on-semiconductor interface during the fabrication flow, non-destructively, just after the corresponding deposition step (if possible) and without needing to fully fabricate a particular test structure. At wafer level, a typical electrical evaluation method is the Corona characterization of semiconductors [3] that provides the interface state density (Dit) and the “total” charge responding in the structure. Its main drawback is the charging of the surface during the measurement. Optical methods (like the photoconductance decay or the photoluminescence) are non-destructive, but they are directly related to material and interface quality through the carrier lifetime [4] and they don’t allow a simple separation between fixed charge in the oxide (Qox) and Dit. However optical-based methods are still a recommended strategy, since they ensure non-destructive measurements. In this context, the second harmonic generation (SHG) is a good option, because it can be sensitive to the “static” electric field induced between layers. In the SHG, the surface of the sample is irradiated with a femtosecond laser and a second harmonic wave is then generated and detected. In general, the SHG contains both bulk and surface contributions, but for centrosymmetric materials (such as silicon, silicon dioxide, alumina, etc.) in the dipolar approximation, the interface signal is dominant and it is related to the symmetry breaking due to both the interface itself and to the “static” electric field [5]. The SHG has already been used for dielectric characterization using various modalities: SHG versus power, time, wavelength, etc. [6], [7], [8]. In this paper, we focus on the analysis of the interface electric field, which is related to Qox and Dit. If trapping/detrapping phenomena occur during the illumination of the sample, this field can actually depend on time. The value of the SHG (proportional to the square of the field) will then be related to Qox and its evolution in time should correlate to Dit. The technique is promising but it triggers two questions: (1) how to separate optical phenomena (absorption, interferences) specific to multi-layer structures and access electrical field only and (2) how to actually extract Qox and Dit. During the presentation we explain recent results in these two areas, using simulation results obtained with our “home-made” code and a wide panel of samples for the experiments. Alternative electrical characterization performed through capacitance versus voltage measurements gives hints for future calibration.
