Résumé :
The article discusses the process of designing a modern lesson using electronic educational resources and digital tools, the role of teaching aids in the educational process.Analyzed didactic model of V.P. Smirnov, which is used in both traditional and distance learning. The process of designing a lesson through this model is looked at.In pedagogical work, when summing up the final results of training, mental skills are systematized and classified using the taxonomy of the American psychologist B.S. Bloom. In accordance with the taxonomy, the learning outcomes make it possible to understand how well the student has mastered the content of the discipline. The studies of Robert Gagne were studied, who developed a simple 9-step algorithm that can make the learning process as efficient as possible. Each level of education corresponds to a specific task, for the solution of which a variety of techniques, methods, teaching aids are offered. These stages of events are known to pedagogy even before Gagne, he designed and assembled them into his system. Stimulating internal learning processes with digital tools can dramatically improve performance. The teacher is asked to be careful about the choice of digital tools for implementation in their professional activities, to use well-established teaching methods and tools, to introduce new resources gradually.

Résumé :
This paper focuses on the paradigm shift of teaching-learning process and overall teaching methodology after Covid19 has hit the world. This paper shows the traditional and digital teaching-learning procedure and the challenges that are faced in Indian context. The education world for ages has been seasoned in a particular way of teaching-learning. The conventional teaching procedure followed certain rules which formed the doctrine of education system. The change though started long time back in 1960s, yet this was not totally acceptable as an effective method of teaching-learning. Conventional method still ruled the world and non-conventional (online) was considered as a distant substitute mode of learning. The entire world saw a paradigm shift in the education due to the pandemic that cornered every individual across the world. Blackboard changed to smart board and jam board or even PowerPoint presentation. Class rooms changed to Zoom Calls, Webex meeting, Google meet, Teams etc. Face to face discussion changed to online forums, Books changed to internet and YouTube. The shift is prominent. Though this was needed, yet it leads to noticeable changes in our society where many perceive online education as an obstacle to teaching-learning process. The digital divide in all the third-world nations has made this process one-sided. This has created a sociological divide.

Résumé :
Land-use planning and policymaking is central to how communities manage their economic activity and the social and environmental impacts these activities produce. Because of this central role, enhancing land-use practices to better incorporate the needs and impacts of freight activity has strong potential to improve the efficiency of their associated supply chains. This paper summarizes the key findings of the NCFRP 08-111 project on “Freight-Efficient Land Uses (FELUs)”, probably the most comprehensive research project to date aimed at designing policy procedures to foster land-uses that minimize the private and external costs associated with the production, transportation, and consumption of goods. As part of the paper, the authors define freight efficient land-uses, identify the principles that should guide the process towards FELUs, outline the process to develop FELU plans and programs, propose to analyze the freight efficiency of current and future land uses in their jurisdictions, and identify complementary initiatives (both land-use and transportation related) that could help mitigate the negative impacts on local communities. The authors discuss three illustrative cases that provide evidence on how land-use decisions produce unintended effects on local communities. The paper explains how decision makers can carefully consider the FELU principles in their planning and avoid or mitigate such negative results.

Résumé :
This article is aimed at exploring the methodology of the legal phenomenon. Particular attention was paid to such aspects as clarifying the main approaches to understanding the methodology and how it relates to the research methodology; study of the scope and structure of the concept of methodology; outlining the main research methods. The author draws conclusions from the results of the study. First, the methodology for the study of legal phenomena needs to be updated based on a change in the legal paradigm associated with the understanding of law (relation to the state and its functions) and the formation of legal reality at the beginning of the 21st century both at national and international level. the legal aspect. Secondly, the current methodology of legal research continues to be in the co-ordinates of an important dilemma regarding the correlation of "purely" legal research methods and so-called "interdisciplinary" approaches. Third, the methodological tools (specific research methods) of legal science remain inexhaustible in content and, in particular, in the possible combinations of their application to achieve a cognitive result. The extension of their catalog is influenced by the development of jurisprudence and other sciences, their epistemological components, and the processes of globalization and internationalization of legal life. Concerning the optimal research methodology (as opposed to its methodology), it should be noted that in the course of legal research the algorithm of actions is as follows: 1) selection of the research coordination center; 2) literature review; 3) hypothesis formulation; 4) research design; 5) data collection; 6) data analysis; 7) interpretation of data; report. Of course, it should be borne in mind that law is not in a vacuum, it operates in a complex social context. It reflects and controls attitudes and behaviors. However, as these rules are also temporal and spatial, that is, they change with time and space, it is desirable that law can adapt and be dynamic to cope with change. Important is the social audit of law (law) in order to identify the distance between the legal ideal and social reality, as well as to find out the reasons that led them. After all, legal research is a systematic understanding of law in order to improve it and, given that law operates in society, in the process they influence one another.

Résumé :
Development of smart manufacturing led to a trend of developing autonomous, accessible and cooperative numerical control equipment, which needs a communication subsystem that follows a universal accepted industrial standard. MTConnect has been widely considered as an efficient and sufficient protocol for data collection since its appearance. In this paper, a networked information exchange methodology between computer numerical control systems based on MTConnect technology is proposed, which includes the theoretical architecture of the information exchange module and the implementation of the module based on a CNC systems developed on the TwinCAT platform. A communication system according to the MTConnect protocol for CNC systems was designed, which is able to collect processing data from controllers and transmits those data between controllers by agent and client embedded in the information exchange module. The agent and client which were defined in the protocol were developed through C# language and MTConnect Managed SDK. The proposed methodology was implemented and tested on actual CNC system.

Résumé :
Simulation is one of the most effective techniques for analyzing stochastic systems. Recent computer software and hardware advances have had an important impact on the traditional discrete-event simulation methodology. Intelligent simulation environments consisting of integrated sets of “intelligent” tools for performing simulation studies have emerged. These tools significantly impact the methodology of a simulation analysis. This paper defines these intelligent tools and discusses how they alter the simulation paradigm by illustrating the development of a simulation model using an intelligent simulation environment. Special emphasis is on how an intelligent simulation environment provides a responsive analysis technique for studying manufacturing systems.

CASE Tools have been considered as the most advanced technique to derive quality products. The cost associated with CASE tools is generally high due to their steep learning curves and is a matter of concern for software engineering houses. This makes it imperative that the right set of CASE tools are evaluated and selected for a particular set of tasks. This research paper proposes a methodology for the purpose of comparison and selection of various CASE tools available in the market. The proposed methodology allows its users to easily identify and select the best CASE tool suited to their purpose. The paper proposes a matrix based model, mapped across parameters and their attributes that produces an optimised score card that supports the decision making process.

Résumé :
Absract. The regulatory documents of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science set the task of forming competencies of students. Competences are understood as knowledge and skills. Knowledge is the world outlook component of science, and therefore the corresponding academic discipline, and skills are its methodological component. The world outlook refers to the system of views on the subject area of science, and the methodology is the system of intangible means of cognition and practical activities developed in this science and presented in the relevant academic discipline. It is noted that the subject of study in logic is not only the particular structure of thoughts and processes of thinking (forms of thought and processes of thinking), but also the types and characteristics of the original components of complex thoughts and processes of thinking, such as signs and terms. In the article on the example of logic the author's concept of the methodological component of the academic discipline is described. Attention is drawn to the importance of using in the process of cognition methodological standpoints created on the basis of world outlook, as well as to the need to take into account the types of knowledge - empirical and theoretical knowledge, problem, hypothesis, theory. Some other methodological tools of logic are given, for example, principles, technology. More well-known methodological tools (methods, strategies, tactics, etc.) are not considered. It is assumed that the article will cause interest among the representatives of other philosophical, and not only philosophical, academic disciplines, and a discussion of the problem of ideological and methodological components of these disciplines will continue.

Résumé :
In general terms, methodology is a study of the entire scientific inquiry process: how science arrives at the posited goal. There are different kinds of goals for scientific inquiry. For example, goals may be epistemic (truth), aesthetic (simplicity) or several kinds of pragmatic goals (efficiency, economy, and explanatory power). It is not the concern of methodology what this goal happens to be. More generally, formal methods turned out to be effective tools in philosophical analysis, in the paper we will show this introducing the interrogative model and some basic properties of it, let us mention the covering law theorem. Finally we will formulate some philosophical implications of the model introduced.

Commercial-off-the-shelf three-dimensional (3-D) modeling and visualization tools make it relatively easy to produce 3-D renderings of data. It is much more difficult to ensure that 3-D renderings honor the original data points, that they take into account the heterogeneity of the medium in which the data were collected, and that they convey the uncertainty inherent in interpolating between and extrapolating from the original data points. This study offers practical advice by describing three steps necessary to produce defensible 3-D visualizations: defining the problem to be solved, selecting the appropriate software tools, and applying the tools in a systematic manner.

In a changing world, dominated by fierce competition, it is imperative that companies have the necessary agility to adapt to the market constraints where they operate, investing in frameworks that promote the achievement of planned results. There are many tools that can help managers in setting goals; however, one became very well-known because it helped large companies like Google to achieve success: OKR – objectives and key results. When compared to others, OKR is still little publicized and used, leaving open some questions that the authors intend to answer in this work. A case study was carried out in a Brazilian company using a qualitative methodology and interviews and document analysis that only defines goals.

Résumé :
Abstract This paper presents a design method and tool developed to support the skill forming activities in the DigiFoF network (https://www.digifof.eu/). The focus is on training of manufacturing system design skills both as HEI education and vocational training, but preliminary design of new manufacturing systems is also supported (e.g in the development of small business process scenarios). We proposed a model-based methodology for solving of the manufacturing system design problems The methodology and the supporting tool are centred around a less abstract Domain-Specific Modelling Language (DSML). The language is easy to learn due to its few components. A modelling and simulation environment named Digital Production Planner Tool (DPPT) was generated from the metamodel of the DSML. The degree of abstraction used by this tool corresponds well to the intended use in training and preliminary design. Our method incorporates by design the possibility to impose constraints at the modelling language level to limit the modelling space to feasible/possible solutions. The resulting tool enforces these constraints in the use and supports the development of feasible designs even by inexperienced designers. The access to the conceptual model allows the translation of the model to other modelling language like Petri net. This extends the support for the design methodology. The whitepaper presents a use case for the developed method and tool: the design of a chocolate manufacturing line.
