Procesul de dezindustrializare a României, aplicat metodic și insistent după anii `90, pare a nu se integra parcursului firesc spre industria 4.0, ci mai degrabă pare a fi un proces sistematic de distrugere planificată și de radiere a industriei postdecembriste, pe sistemul unui nou plan Valev, conceput în laboratoarele secrete ale artizanilor noii configurații mondiale. Insistența cu care s-a procedat la demolarea sistematică și planificată a majorității capacităților și platformelor industriale mari trădează interese obscure, care nu mai pot fi plasate sub umbrela catalogării lor ca învechite sau neperformante, ci mai mult ca incomode pentru piețele externe și capitalurile străine. Pentru a înțelege mai bine mecanismele care au acționat în vederea resetării României și readucerii acesteia la statutul de colonie semiagrară, exportatoare de materii prime, de resurse naturale și de forță de muncă ieftină, concretizată prin distrugerea industriei grele, petrochimice, alimentare și constructoare de mașini, va trebui să pătrundem în esența cadrului de manifestare a proceselor care susțin globalismul ca ideologie și globalizarea ca politică suprastatală și neocolonialistă a marilor centre de putere internaționale

AbstractThis paper is an examination of the theory of materia prima of the fifteenth century Platonist Marsilio Ficino. It limits its discussion of Ficino's theory to the ontological and epistemic status of prime matter in his Platonic Theology. Ficino holds a "robust" theory of prime matter that makes two fundamental assertions: First, prime matter exists independent of form, and second, it is, at least in principle, intelligible. Ficino's theory of prime matter is framed in this paper with a discussion of the divergence among Scholastic philosophers over the nature of prime matter.

Tra i fattori di interferenza sul primo sviluppo infantile č attualmente riconosciuto il ruolo dello stress materno in gravidanza. Stati emotivi materni di tipo ansioso o depressivo si dimostrano in primo luogo associati a fattori di rischio per il decorso della gravidanza quali complicazioni ostetriche, maggiore prevalenza di parti pretermine e di eclampsia, basso peso del bambino alla nascita. Studi sperimentali sull'animale e osservazionali sull'uomo documentano inoltre un'azione diretta dello stress materno sullo sviluppo del sistema nervoso fetale dovuta all'alterato funzionamento dell'asse ipotalamo-ipofisi-surrene e del sistema simpatico-nora- drenergico materni. Tali evidenze supportano l'ipotesi che i cambiamenti biochimici e metabolici indotti a livello uterino dai correlati dello stress materno interferiscano sullo sviluppo fetale determinando effetti a lungo termine sulla salute dell'individuo e sulle caratteristiche temperamentali del neonato, influenzando cosě la qualitŕ dei primi adattamenti madre-bambino. Tra le conseguenze dell'esposizione fetale allo stress materno si riscontrano maggiore tendenza al pianto, inconsolabilitŕ e anomalie del sonno nei neonati, temperamento difficile e ritardi nello sviluppo cognitivo e motorio nella prima infanzia, mentre gli studi piů recenti documentano un aumentato rischio di depressione in adolescenza. Questo lavoro indaga la prevalenza di sintomi depressivi in gravidanza e i fattori ad essa correlati in relazione ad aspetti del temperamento dei bambini nei primi mesi di vita.

Platinum, Palladium, Gratiola, Staphysagria, Sulphur, Lachesis and Veratrum album are few remedies of prime importance mentioned in the homeopathic Materia Medica pertinent to pride. The expression of pride in all the remedies has a particular characteristic feature individualising each remedy. An attempt is made to differentiate the homeopathic medicines attributed to pride in light of modern psychology.

Sabino Arana adapta los rasgos físicos y morales de su prototipo racial vasco a este ideal ario al que accede, parcialmente, a través de las obras de su primo Vicente Arana (1848-1890).

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah, pertama, untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji secara yuridis pelaksanaan putusan uji materiil oleh Mahkamah Konstitusi yang tidak berbentuk Undang-Undang. Kedua, untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji pengaturan ke depan mengenai pembentukan Undang-Undang yang Berlaku sebagai implementasi dari putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dengan jenis penelitian hukum normatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber data sekunder dengan bahan hukum primer dan sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dan analisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dapat dijelaskan sebagai berikut. Pertama, putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi tentang uji materi yang dilaksanakan dengan bentuk hukum selain undang-undang dengan menguji Undang-Undang Nomor 12 Tahun 2011 tidak sesuai jika bentuk hukum selain undang-undang yang mengimplementasikan atas putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi tentang uji materi tersebut. Kedua, putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi tentang uji materi harus dilaksanakan dengan undang-undang. Maka dari itu penulis memberikan rekomendasi pelaksanaan terhadap putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi mengenai uji materiil tersebut, agar tidak terdapat berbagai bentuk hukum pelaksanaan terhadap putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi tersebut; regulasi yang tumpang tindih; dan ketidakpastian hukum.

Negli ultimi dieci anni il prezzo dei prodotti agricoli è stato soggetto ad ampie fluttuazioni e ha visto incrementare la sua volatilità. Proprio la volatilità nel mercato delle commodities agricole ha destato grande interesse perché i prezzi dei prodotti alimentari influenzano il numero di persone che vi hanno accesso. Differenti studi circa le cause di queste fluttuazioni hanno raggiunto differenti conclusioni. Alcuni studiosi, seguendo l’ipotesi di Masters, hanno indicato l’incremento dell’attività speculativa come la determinante di tali fluttuazioni. Altri, invece, si sono mostrati critici verso tale ipotesi indicandone i punti deboli. La tesi intende verificare l’esistenza di un legame tra i prezzi futures del grano e alcune variabili speculative. Implementando una analisi di cointegrazione, si mostra come non sia possibile evidenziare in modo chiaro un legame diretto tra speculazione, aumento dei prezzi e volatilità dei mercati: ciò anche perché la presenza di operatori professionali favorisce un migliore funzionamento dei mercati, aumentandone la liquidità al punto che si può affermare che la mancanza di speculazione metterebbe a rischio l’esistenza stessa del mercato.
In the last ten years, the price of raw materials showed wide fluctuation and an increase in volatility. The volatility in the agricultural commodity market has aroused greatest interest because the prices of food commodities influence the survival of the people. Different studies have led different conclusions about the causes of these fluctuations. Some, following the Masters hypothesis, indicate in the increase of the speculative activity the determinant of such fluctuations. Others, instead, are critically and reported the inconsistencies of Masters hypothesis. The thesis, intend to verify if there exist a co-implication between wheat futures price and some financial speculative variables. Implementing a cointegration analysis it is not possible to clearly highlight a direct link between speculation, price growth and market volatility: this is also because the presence of professionals favors a better functioning of the market - incensing liquidity, to the point that the lack of speculation would put the very existence of the market at risk.

Controlled drug delivery systems, which are intended to deliver drugs at predetermined rates for predefined periods of time, have been used to overcome the shortcomings of conventional drug formulations. Injectable drug-loaded matrices and controlled release technology offer numerous advantages compared to conventional dosage. However, one of the greatest challenges in applying this system to the clinical phase is the relatively large initial burst release. To reduce this effect of large initial burst release, a new drug delivery system was fabricated in this thesis. Both alginate and gelatin are biocompatible nature polymers and have been largely used as biomaterials for long time. By cross-linking alginate solution carrying drug-loaded uncross-linked gelatin microbeads, the initial burst release was reduced significantly, compared with drug directly releasing from gelatin or cross-linked alginate matrix. Firstly, a series of gelatin microbeads were prepared in a water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion by a traditional emulsification method. The effects of the concentration of gelatin solution, volumetric ratio of water-to-oil phase, stirring speed and emulsifying time on the particle size and dispersity of gelatin microbeads were studied. Secondly, drug-loaded gelatin microbeads were encapsulated into the cross-linked sodium alginate macro-beads. The release behavior of drug-loaded gelatin microbeads encapsulated within cross-linked alginate gel was characterized both at room temperature and 37°C and compared with the release from gelatin microbeads and cross-linked alginate gel alone. This system represents a promise for the development of novel and versatile injectable drug delivery systems. Thirdly, a dual-drug delivery system was fabricated by encapsulating drug-loaded gelatin microbeads into the mixture of cross-linkable sodium alginate and another drug. The effects of preparation methods of drug-loaded gelatin microbeads and ratio between gelatin microbeads and alginate on drug release behaviors of both drugs were studied. This system shows a significant potential in dual drug delivery field due to the synergistic effect between gelatin and alginate. Additionally, combination of multi-drugs in one system has been revealed as a promising application in the drug delivery systems. Therefore, in the fifth chapter of this thesis, an idea for the multi-drug delivery system was simply demonstrated. Rods of gelatin gels loaded with different drugs were separated by the agarose gel in a polycarbonate tube. The effects of the length of agarose gel and temperature on the drug release profiles were investigated. The results suggested the feasibility to employ this idea to the practical applications.

Il mondo sta cambiando, la transazione digitale ed energetica è imminente, e questo lo provano gli impegni comunitari e la sensibilizzazione alle tematiche ambientali e di economia circolare, che delineano un futuro migliore e più sostenibile; la sostenibilità è un tema cardine, soprattutto in questi ultimi anni. La domanda a cui si cerca di rispondere con questo studio è: le tecnologie chiave della transizione energetica sono sostenibili? Con tale elaborato si intende valutare l’impatto delle materie prime critiche in ambito automotive per mettere in luce le principali problematiche, al fine di individuare tecnologie alternative che limitino l’impatto ambientale e sociale. Si definirà innanzitutto cosa sono le materie prime critiche e come si collocano nel mercato globale, con una conseguente panoramica sulle problematiche ambientali, politiche umanitarie che rendono questi minerali non sostenibili per il futuro. Successivamente verrà esposto il metodo con cui si valuta l’impatto ambientale delle diverse tecnologie utilizzate, ovvero il Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Nella seconda parte si analizzeranno i campi di utilizzo delle materie prime critiche, quali: il pacco batterie, il motore elettrico e le celle a combustibile. Per ciascuno di essi si evidenzieranno le differenti tecnologie presenti sul mercato e la loro diffusione, le criticità del ciclo di vita e le prospettive future più sostenibili. Infine, si porrà l’attenzione sul fine vita e il possibile riciclo dei materiali in applicazioni secondarie.

La materia prima è una celebre categoria filosofica la cui formulazione originaria viene tradizionalmente fatta risalire ad Aristotele. Essa sarebbe, dunque, quel sostrato universale, totalmente indeterminato e indifferenziato, che accoglierebbe tutte le entità materiali e permarrebbe a ogni tipo di mutamento, specialmente alla generazione e alla distruzione. Il termine (πρώτη ὕλη, “materia prima”), tuttavia, come si vedrà nel corso della trattazione, ricorre solamente dieci volte in tutto il corpus degli scritti di Aristotele giunto a noi. Inoltre, lo Stagirita non ha mai trattato quest’argomento in modo diretto o sistematico, limitandosi ad evocarne il concetto in alcuni luoghi degli scritti di fisica e metafisica. Il significato che tradizionalmente viene attribuito al concetto di materia prima e comunemente accettato, e che, invece, ha la sua radice nella dottrina platonica del ricettacolo informe di cui il demiurgo del Timeo si serve come materia per dare forma al mondo sensibile – teoria dalla quale Aristotele prende esplicitamente le distanze – è stato, nel corso degli ultimi settant’anni, messo in seria discussione da parecchi studiosi. A queste voci fuori dal coro, come vedremo, però, non sono mancate contro-reazioni, rendendo, così, il panorama interpretativo sulla materia prima in Aristotele estremamente vario. In questo lavoro si analizzeranno queste diverse “correnti” interpretative, dopo un’attenta introduzione all’argomento, e infine si andrà a verificare direttamente nel testo come poter intendere, nella maniera più vicina a quanto ha scritto Aristotele, il concetto di materia prima.

Il presente lavoro è il risultato di un periodo di tirocinio svolto presso la Baschieri & Pellagri S.p.A., azienda specializzata nella produzione di polveri da sparo e cartucce impiegate in ambito venatorio e sportivo. L’elaborato ha come scopo l’identificazione di nuove possibili materie esplosive da utilizzare nel processo produttivo delle polveri, in sostituzione del materiale di riferimento attualmente in uso, il nitrograno. La trattazione ha per oggetto la valutazione di 3 materiali sostitutivi. Ogni sostanza proposta è stata utilizzata per eseguire delle prove sperimentali direttamente sugli impianti di processo. La polvere ottenuta al termine di ogni prova è stata sottoposta ad analisi chimiche e test di balistica, allo scopo di valutare le prestazioni del prodotto e confermare o meno la validità dei materiali esplosivi considerati. L’elaborato si compone di 8 capitoli in cui, dopo una breve introduzione (capitolo 1), si illustrano le prove sperimentali condotte ed i risultati ottenuti dalle analisi chimiche e dai test di balistica interna. Nel capitolo 2, dopo aver presentato brevemente l’azienda, viene descritta la struttura standard di una cartuccia. Il capitolo 3 è dedicato alla polvere senza fumo e all'approfondimento di aspetti teorici legati alla natura chimica ed alle funzioni dei suoi costituenti. Il capitolo 4 illustra le varie fasi del ciclo produttivo della polvere. Nel capitolo 5 si illustrano le modalità di esecuzione delle prove sperimentali, delle analisi chimiche di laboratorio e dei test di balistica interna, nonché le interpretazioni delle prove condotte e dei i risultati ottenuti. Nel capitolo 6 viene presenta una stima preliminare degli effetti economici legati alla sostituzione del nitrograno. Nel capitolo 7 vengono proposte 2 possibili tecniche sperimentali per caratterizzare meccanicamente l’impasto ottenuto al termine dello stadio di miscelazione; seguono le conclusioni finali e i possibili argomenti di indagine futuri (capitolo 8).

En este artículo se exponen hallazgos de una investigación sobre el potencial que encierra reutilizar prendas desechadas como materia prima, en nuevos productos del ámbito del diseño industrial. Fue desarrollada en el eje de Formación en Investigación, de la Línea de Investigación en Proyecto e Innovación del Grupo de Estudios en Diseño de la UPB. Su objetivo: explicitar el potencial de estas prendas para ser reintegradas a ciclos de uso y consumo actuales de la ciudad de Medellín, luego de realizar un diagnóstico de su potencial como materia prima para nuevos productos. Para lograrlo, se estudiaron los procesos que las producen y los que permiten su reinserción a canales de adquisición, sea como prendas de vestir o como otros productos, las relaciones entre los actores involucrados y los medios que utilizan. Se implementó una metodología sociofenomenológica con la cual se levantó, sistematizó y analizó información para sintetizar constructos de primer y segundo orden, que permitieron concluir sobre el potencial que tienen las prendas mencionadas como materia prima para nuevos productos, en especial, los del interés del diseño industrial.

Potential students and their parents are looking at schools differently than in the past: an out cropping of the new generation of parents and students. Academics are still the prime concern but more frequently than in past years families are concerned about the organization. Does the program have an identity that will assist in getting jobs? Is there a presence within the community? Do the faculty and students take pride in what is being accomplished and are graduates proud of their education and their school? The best way to answer these questions is to allow the families a chance to interact with students, see their products, read the posters of their work and show where graduates work. This paper will discuss the process needed to cultivate an engineering or engineering technology program into one with an identity, presence and ultimately pride. The paper will describe leadership steps that can be taken to generate pride and distinctiveness, first to the faculty, and then to the student body. Resulting in a close nit and enviable community where education can flourish, and the students’ academic related clubs are active and involved on campus. Where alumni look forward to visiting and helping with student projects. Where they take pride in their alma mater and often seek new hires from the program. Where faculty members win teaching awards and enjoy their time in the classroom and advising students. A case study will be presented and, detailed examples will be cited demonstrating how the students “caught on” and took pride to a new level based on the successful implementation at a university. It will show that leadership lessons learned by students while in school, continued to be used after they graduated. The case study will further demonstrate why everyone associated with the program feels that the engineering technology program is a great place to learn and work.

Abstract. Additive manufacturing (AM) has been widely used for rapid prototyping (RP) techniques due to its low cost and customizability. This technique allows for rapid and competitive price production compared to conventional manufacturing. However, pieces fabricated with the AM technique usually possess poor mechanical and surface properties compared to the injection molding technique. Based on COALIA's recent patent, a thermal treatment approach was used to improve the performance of printed parts. In this study, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) was printed using fused deposition modeling (FDM) with and without heat treatment at 35 mm/s of printing speed. The physical and mechanical properties of printed ABS parts were then investigated. Tensile tests were performed to investigate the tensile strength, elastic modulus, and elongation at break. After tensile tests, X-ray microtomography was conducted to evaluate the surface morphologies. An optical profilometer analysis was also used to measure the surface roughness.

Abstract. Nickel-based alloys are known to mount intense heat around the cutting edges of the cutting tool owing to their high yield strength, comparatively low thermal conductivity, and a significant seizure of the chip at the rake face even at low cutting speeds. Their sustainable machining demands a highly effective heat dissipation system. Due to its rich cooling potential, the compressed CO2-based throttle cryogenic cooling system is a prime contender. The presented work seeks a sustainable milling solution for the cutting of the following three nickel-rich allows using the combination of throttle cryogenic cooling and minimum quantity of lubrication: Inconel 718, Incoloy 825, and Waspaloy. The experimental study quantifies the effects of the lubri-cooling approach and cutting speed on tool wear, cutting forces, and workpiece surface roughness. The novelty of the work lies in the mutual comparison of the machinability of the three alloys of nickel and the application of the cryogenic coolant in the form of pulses in addition to the conventional mode of continuous stream. The analyses of the experimental results suggest that the pulsed mode of the coolant, especially in combination with the lubricant, outperforms the continuous mode of the coolant’s supply regarding cutting forces and work surface roughness. Additionally, the study has yielded mixed results regarding tool wear for different combinations of workpiece material and cutting speed. Nonetheless, dry milling of the three alloys proved to be absolutely unsustainable in comparison to either of the two modes of throttle cryogenic cooling, with or without the application of micro-lubrication.

El presente proyecto tuvo como finalidad diseñar figuras para el laboratorio de logística a partir de moldes tipo Lego utilizando el triturado PET como material base para así reducir el porcentaje de contaminación que se presenta en la ciudad en la ciudad de Villavicencio por medio del aprovechamiento de uno de los materiales más contaminantes como son las botellas de polietileno tereftalato, realizando en primer lugar la identificación de un modelo de logística óptimo para la recolección de botella, con ello, establecer la metodología para la transformación del plástico y desarrollo de las figuras, por último realizar diversas pruebas de resistencia a las figuras obtenidas del plástico reciclado moldeadas tipo Lego. Con base a lo anteriormente mencionado, se resalta que las botellas PET (tereftalato de polietileno, politereftalato de etileno, polietilenotereftalato o polietileno tereftalato) son envases plásticos que generan gran contaminación e impacta negativamente el medio ambiente dado que son fabricadas mediante productos derivados del petróleo, los cuales ocasionan gases contaminantes al momento su extracción. Estos envases presentan una alta aplicación dentro de la industria para el envasado de bebidas carbonatadas, aguas minerales, aceites comestibles, vinagre, zumos, té, bebidas isotónicas, detergentes y artículos de limpieza, cosméticos y salsas, entre otros productos con gran demanda en el mercado a nivel mundial. Gracias a esta alta demanda, existen muchas botellas PET, de las cuales un gran porcentaje son desechadas a la basura, negándole así la oportunidad de ser reutilizadas, convirtiéndose así en una fuente de problemas que han prevalecido en el tiempo afectando la biodiversidad del país; no obstante, esta situación se desea cambiar por medio del aprovechamiento del triturado de botellas PET para el desarrollo de moldes tipo lego, los cuales se desean fabricar llevando a cabo una investigación que indique el método más apropiado para la recolección de las botellas de acuerdo a la cantidad de materia prima desechada y a los puntos claves (lugar) donde llegan a dar estas, además de indagar si hay empresas que ya realicen dicho proceso, lo cual sería de gran ayuda pues solamente se tendría que llegar a un acuerdo con estas para el suministro de la materia prima. Posteriormente se tuvo que proceder a realizar el proceso de selección en donde son separadas las etiquetas, materias férricas entre más con el fin de obtener una mejor calidad óptima. Seguidamente se dispuso a triturar la materia prima con el fin de obtener la granulometría para luego ser lavada y secada eliminando así las impurezas que esta podría presentar, para después finiquitar con el proceso de granceado donde esta toma forma de figuras tipo lego con ayuda de diversos moldes los cuales podrían ser utilizados en el laboratorio de logística de la Universidad Santo Tomás sede Villavicencio , todo esto con el fin de brindar un segundo uso a las botellas PET desechadas en la capital del Meta al mismo tiempo de promover el cuidado al medio ambiente y disminución de la contaminación.

El maíz y la soya, además de integrar la dieta de la alimentación humana se utiliza como materia prima en la elaboración de alimentos balanceados para animales, en particular en aves y cerdos. Con el propósito de reubicar las fuentes de producción, procesamiento, aprovechamiento y acceso a los mercados tanto internos como de exportación, el presente modelo productivo sirve como guía para la producción de maíz y soya en la Altillanura plana de la Orinoquía, convirtiéndose en una alternativa competitiva en los mercados internacionales, ejecutándose de manera sostenible.
