Résumé :
It is devoted to the problem of spreading errors in the information of the State Land Cadastre, the reasons for their occurrence and the procedure for editing errors. The main types of errors in the information of the State Land Cadastre, the reasons for their spread, ways to solve. The algorithm of actions at detection of such errors by the interested persons (legal or physical) and the state cadastral registrar is considered. The article reflects the powers of the state cadastral registrar in correcting various types of errors. The main types of errors in the information of the State Land Cadastre are: technical errors that arose due to / not through the fault of the body conducting the DZK; errors caused by existing errors in other documents. The interested person who found an error in the information of the State Land Cadastre should apply to the body conducting the State Land Registry with a notice, which must comply with a certain annex to the Procedure for maintaining the State Land Cadastre (depending on the type of error). The state cadastral registrar corrects the detected errors on the basis of the application, the document in which there is an error and the document establishing the right to land. He must then provide an extract or certificate certifying that the error found has been corrected.

Résumé :
The positioning accuracy is a key index to measure the performance of the robot. This paper studies the positioning accuracy of the main pouring mechanism of the hybrid truss pouring robot and analyzes that the main error sources affecting the positioning accuracy are machining error, assembly error, and thermal deformation error. Error transfer matrix is constructed to describe the influence of machining errors and assembly errors on the position and pose of the terminal, and the error parameters have physical significance. The probability distribution of sensitive errors is discussed. A joint regression prediction model based on sensitive error sets is established to determine the thermal deformation error on the basis of fully considering the contribution rate of component error. The results show that the position error has a wide range of influences on the end pose, but the angle error is more sensitive, and the probability distribution of the sensitive error is concentrated. The reliable data can be obtained without reorganizing the measurement in the calibration process. The joint regression model considering the contribution rate of component error can effectively eliminate the collinearity problem in the prediction of thermal deformation from a single heat source. Compared with the single regression model, it has better prediction accuracy and effect.

Résumé :
Abstract. Lidars have become a valuable technology to assess the wind resource at hub height of modern wind turbines. However, because of the assumption of homogeneous flow in their wind vector reconstruction algorithms, common wind profile Doppler lidars suffer from errors at complex terrain sites. This study analyses the impact of the five main influencing factors for lidar measurement errors in complex terrain, i.e. orographic complexity, measurement height, surface roughness and forest, atmospheric stability, and half-cone opening angle, in a non-dimensional, model-based parameter study. In a novel approach, the lidar error ε is split up into a part εc, caused by flow curvature at the measurement points of the lidar, and a part εs, caused by the local speed-up effects between the measurement points. This approach allows for a systematic and complete interpretation of the influence of the half-cone opening angle φ of the lidar on the total lidar error ε. It also provides information about the uncertainty in simple lidar error estimations that are based on inflow and outflow angles at the measurement points. The model-based parameter study is limited to two-dimensional Gaussian hills with hill height H and hill half-width L. H/L and z/L, with z being the measurement height, are identified as the main scaling factors for the lidar error. Three flow models of different complexity are used to estimate the lidar errors. The outcome of the study provides various findings that enable an assessment of the applicability of these flow models. The study clearly shows that orographic complexity, roughness and forest characteristics, and atmospheric stability have a significant influence on lidar error estimation. Based on the error separation approach it furthermore allows for an in-depth analysis of the influence of reduced half-cone opening angles, explaining contradiction in the previously available literature. The choice and parameterization of flow models and the design of methods for lidar error estimation are found to be essential to achieve accurate results. The use of a Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model in conjunction with an appropriate forest model is highly recommended for lidar error estimations in complex terrain since forest (and roughness) tends to reduce the lidar error. If atmospheric stability variation at a measurement site plays a vital role, it should also be considered in the modelling. When planning a measurement campaign, an accurate estimation of the predicted lidar error should be carried out in advance to choose a reasonable measurement location. This will decrease measurement uncertainties and maximize the value of the measurement data.

Résumé :
As a key indicator reflecting the working accuracy of rotary functional units, the error motions of the precision shafting are very necessary to be measured. In this paper, the main error sources for the error motion measurement of a precision shafting using a T-type capacitive sensor were investigated. The theoretical modeling error due to the approximate simplification for the output capacitance expressions was firstly analyzed. By means of the 3D-FEA method, the influence of fringe effects was subsequently investigated. Finally, the analysis of electrode installation errors was emphasized on the tilt error of the cylindrical electrode and coaxiality error of the fan-shaped electrode by establishing mathematical models and numerical simulation. Based on the theoretical analysis and simulation results, the methods of decreasing the approximate error and the nonlinear error caused by fringe effects were subsequently proposed; for the installation errors, the tilt error of cylindrical electrode only makes the solution of phase angle have a certain deviation and has almost no effect on solving the radial displacement, especially for the measurement range less than 0.1 mm; the measurement of the rotor tilt displacement was basically not affected by the coaxiality error of the fan-shaped electrode.

Résumé :
Diagnostic errors in medicine occur frequently and the consequences for the patient can be severe. Cognitive errors as well as system related errors contribute to the occurrence of diagnostic error, but it is generally accepted that cognitive errors are the main contributor. The diagnostic reasoning process in medicine, is an understudied area of research. One reason is because of the complexity of the diagnostic process and therefore the difficulty to measure diagnostic errors and the causes of diagnostic error. In this paper, I discuss some of the complexities of the diagnostic process. I describe the dual-process theory, which defines two reasoning modes, 1. a fast, automatic and unconscious reasoning mode called system 1, and a slow and analytic reasoning mode called system 2. Furthermore, the main cognitive causes of diagnostic error are described.

Résumé :
Multiple factors determine the reliability in the engine repair, while an important criterion is the preservation of the geometric parameters of engine parts within the specifi ed limits. The crankshaft bearing is a highly loaded unit in an engine. If the holes for the main bearing shells are worn or deformed, the shells may rotate, which will lead to failure and unscheduled repairs. The authors found out that measuring instruments typically recommended in the normative and technical documentation are assigned without regard to the tolerances of controlled quantities and have an error that signifi cantly exceeds the permissible measurement error. The purpose of the work is to study the degree of infl uence of the measurement error on the dispersion zone of the dimensions of the mainbearing journals of the engine during fault detection. The authors have theoretically proven the criteria for choosing measuring instruments for monitoring holes for main bearing shells. The limit values of the permissible measurement errors and the errors of measuring instruments for monitoring wear or deformation of the holes for the liners of main bearings that are submitted for fault detection were also determined. The paper also considers the infl uence of the measurement error on the probability of errors when making a decision on the suitability of parts. When comparing the measuring instruments recommended for use by the engine repair manual, the number of incorrectly rejected parts is 6.9% more, and the number of incorrectly accepted parts is 3.5% more than when using a more accurate bore gauge with an error of ±3.5 microns. Reducing the error of measuring instruments will lead to a signifi cant reduction in the number of incorrectly accepted and incorrectly rejected parts. This, in turn, will aff ect both the quality of the subsequent assembly of units, and the amount of external losses resulting from faulty parts.

Résumé :
Some of the main error sources in wave pattern resistance determination were investigated. The experimental data obtained at the Italian Ship Model Basin (longitudinal wave cuts concerned with the steady motion of the Series 60 model and a hard-chine catamaran) were analyzed. It was found that, within the range of Froude numbers tested (0.225 ≤ Fr ≤ 0.345 for the Series 60 and 0.5 < Fr < 1 for the catamaran) two sources of uncertainty play a significant role: (i) the presence of a wave pattern generated by the air pressure disturbance, related to the carriage motion, and (ii) the unsteadiness of the free-surface flow (precision error). The importance of these effects increases, of course, with the model speed. The propagation of experimental errors in the wave resistance determination by the longitudinal cut method was next examined: within the elaboration of measured wave cuts experimental uncertainties are shown to be significantly damped. The wave resistance coefficient can be obtained therefore, with reasonable accuracy, from the measurement uncertainty point of view. Moreover, the errors related to wave cut truncation, as well as to probe transverse location, typical of the longitudinal cut method, were estimated. Systematic tests were performed by means of a numerical approach, which allows one to compare the wave resistance evaluated by the longitudinal cut method (applied in this case to the computed wave pattern) with the value obtained by pressure integration on the hull. As a result, the longitudinal cut method can be applied without introducing any severe limitation for the ratio b/L (tank width over model length), provided the wave cuts are measured at a proper transverse distance.

Résumé :
Spatial baseline determination is a key technology for interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) missions. Based on the intersatellite baseline measurement using dual-frequency GPS, errors induced by InSAR spatial baseline measurement are studied in detail. The classifications and characters of errors are analyzed, and models for errors are set up. The simulations of single factor and total error sources are selected to evaluate the impacts of errors on spatial baseline measurement. Single factor simulations are used to analyze the impact of the error of a single type, while total error sources simulations are used to analyze the impacts of error sources induced by GPS measurement, baseline transformation, and the entire spatial baseline measurement, respectively. Simulation results show that errors related to GPS measurement are the main error sources for the spatial baseline determination, and carrier phase noise of GPS observation and fixing error of GPS receiver antenna are main factors of errors related to GPS measurement. In addition, according to the error values listed in this paper, 1 mm level InSAR spatial baseline determination should be realized.

Résumé :
The aliasing error resulted from truncating signals incoherently is one of main spectrum errors. The investigation on the error remains quite limited. This restricted the development of high accuracy spectrum analysis. This work discussed the truncation effect and the corresponding aliasing error in quantity, and revealed its dependence upon the truncation conditions. Then a concise technique was proposed to suppress the truncation aliasing error of DFT spectrum by modifying the first datum of the digital signal in time domain. Under general truncation conditions, the simulations show that the error correction of the 5 spectral lines near the main lobe is effective and the maximum absolute error of the main spectral line is decreased from ±2.4‰ to ±0.5‰.

Résumé :
Hydrostatic spindles are widely used in precision optical grinder and lathe. Their high precision comes from the error averaging effect of oil film. The purpose of this paper is to give the quantitative analysis of the error averaging effect for a newly developed axial locking-prevention hydrostatic spindle. An approximate error motion model of the hydrostatic spindle is established to analyze the internal relationship between the geometric errors of the shaft and the error motions of the spindle including radial, tilt and axial error motions. The theoretical analysis shows that, the roundness errors of the two journals have a major impact on error motions while the coaxiality errors of two journals, the perpendicularity errors of front thrust plate and the coaxiality errors of the land of back thrust bearing, have no significant influences on error motions. The elliptical component of roundness errors of the two journals has significant influence on the axial error motion but no influence on the pure radial and tilt error motions, resulting into the fourth harmonic component of axial error motion. The trilobal component of roundness errors of the two journals has significant influence on the pure radial and tilt error motions but no influence on the axial error motion, resulting in the third harmonic component of pure radial and tilt error motions. The changes of recess pressures are not necessary condition for the error motions. Additionally, the experiment analysis shows that, the third harmonic component is the main part of the measured radial error motion and the third, fourth harmonic components are the main parts of the measured face error motion, which can be reasonably explained by the theory. The model proposed in this paper can be used to guide the precision design and optimization of hydrostatic spindle.

Résumé :
Advancements in the nuclear industry have led to the development of fully digitized main control rooms (MCRs)—often termed advanced MCRs—for newly built nuclear power plants (NPPs). Diagnosis is a major part of the cognitive activity in NPP MCRs. Advanced MCRs are expected to improve the working environment and reduce human error, especially during the diagnosis of unexpected scenarios. However, with the introduction of new types of tasks and errors by digital MCRs, a new method to analyze the diagnosis errors in these new types of MCRs is required. Task analysis for operator diagnosis in an advanced MCR based on emergency operation was performed to determine the error modes. The cause-based decision tree (CBDT) method—originally developed for analog control rooms—was then revised to a modified CBDT (MCBDT) based on the error mode categorizations. This work examines the possible adoption of the MCBDT method for the evaluation of diagnosis errors in advanced MCRs. We have also provided examples of the application of the proposed method to some common human failure events in emergency operations. The results show that with some modifications of the CBDT method, the human reliability in advanced MCRs can be reasonably estimated.

Résumé :
This study was designed with three main purposes: (a) to investigate the effects of two listening conditions on error detection accuracy, (b) to compare error detection responses for rhythm errors and pitch errors, and (c) to examine the influences of texture on error detection accuracy. Undergraduate music education students ( N = 18) listened to purposefully incorrect performances of band literature in two formats, on recordings and while conducting a live ensemble. Pitch and rhythm errors were inserted into the music excerpts to investigate responses to different types of errors. Half of the excerpts were played by the full ensemble and half by a single section. Participants served as their own controls by completing the error detection tasks under all conditions. Results indicated that participants were significantly more successful in identifying errors in the recording condition than in the conducting condition. A significant interaction existed between the error type (pitch or rhythm) and the ensemble texture (single section or full ensemble). Participants identified rhythm errors more accurately in the single section texture and diagnosed pitch errors more successfully in the full ensemble excerpts.

Résumé :
Parts of geometric error coupled into space error is the main reason that affects machining accuracy of machine tools; therefore, how to determine the effect of geometric error to the machining accuracy and then assigning geometry precision of parts economically is a difficult problem in machine tool designing process. Therefore, based on multi-body system theory, a sensitivity analysis method of geometric error is put forward in this paper. Let’s take precision vertical machining center for an example. Firstly, an accuracy model of machining center is established based on multi-body system theory, and with 21 geometric errors obtained through experimental verification, key error sources affecting the machining accuracy are finally identified by sensitivity analysis. The example analysis shows that the proposed method can effectively identify the main geometric errors of parts that have great influence on volumetric error of machine tool, and thus provides important theoretical basis to improve the accuracy of machine tool economically.

Résumé :
Gyroscopic survey technology is one of the key technologies to promote the progress of directional drilling technology. It is of great practical significance to study the error of well trajectory measurement based on gyro surveys and identify the main error sources. This paper introduces the error sources which lead to the uncertainty of borehole position in gyroscopic survey, six gyroscopic survey error models, and the calculation model of the contribution rate of the error sources to the error ellipse. The differences between gyro and MWD survey errors and the main error sources of gyro surveys are investigated with an example. The results show that gyroscopic surveys cannot reduce the uncertainty of borehole position compared to MWD surveys in the environment without magnetic interference. The static measurement by a three-axis gyro inclinometer is more beneficial for the improvement of the measurement accuracy of the borehole position. The error sources that contribute to the measurement error of the well trajectory are also different in the vertical section, build-up section, and horizontal section. Unlike the main error source of the MWD survey, the g-dependent error sources of the gyro sensor significantly contribute to the measurement error of the borehole trajectory. Therefore, the measurement error of the well trajectory can be significantly reduced by improving the gyroscope survey tool and reducing the influence of spin mass unbalance.

Résumé :
In this article the author highlighted the successful results of theoretical analysis of scientifi c research on the investigation of legal error, analyzed the nature of such a legal phenomenon, identifi ed the main species and aspects to overcome legal errors. The study revealed the main trends in the concept of legal error, which are embodied in specifi c results, especially the unpredictable consequence of a person’s assessment of certain circumstances (including his actions), which he considered exclusively legitimate, however, which did not turn out to be the case. Our research has shown that error does not arise by itself, it is often the embodiment of misinterpretation, understanding of the content of the rule of law in the minds of the subject, the wrong form of fi xing information in it. Simultaneously, the attitude of legal scholars on the semantic meaning of the concept of «error» in legal science are highlighted, which are quite ambiguous, and often leads to inconsistencies in the conceptual apparatus of modern assumption of law, and require comprehensive research. Therefore, the disclosure of the content of legal errors, as well as fi nding methods to prevent such errors is one of the most important issues to improve legal practice in general and increase the effi cacy of legislation in particular. Furthermore, this article refl ects the main types of legal errors, and since the issue of modern domestic legal doctrine is poorly understood, special attention is paid to doctrinal legal errors. These errors refl ect the systemic and functional deviations of society and the state, and the legal doctrine in modern conditions is a fundamental basis for the legal development of society and the state. Moreover, we analyzed law-making, law-interpreting and lawenforcement errors. Key words: defect, legal consciousness, incorrectness, legal error, doctrine, law enforcement process.

Résumé :
The accuracy of speed prediction error to the next waypoint is a key factor in maintaining longitudinal separation on oceanic routes. This estimation is often used by air traffic control to estimate the future position of aircraft, and the estimation errors result in potential separation infringement. While most aircraft can calculate the estimated time at each future waypoint using the onboard Flight Management System, the factors affecting the inaccuracy of the estimation require more clarification. This paper investigates the accuracy of the speed prediction error on oceanic routes and examines the main factor of error using airline flight data. The results show that wind prediction error is a main source of speed prediction error, and significant differences of the speed prediction error among airlines and aircraft types were observed.

Résumé :
The development of additive manufacturing requires the improvement of 3D printers to increase accuracy and productivity. Delta kinematics 3D printers have advantages over traditional sequential kinematics 3D printers. The main advantage is the high travel speed due to the parallel movement of the platform from three pairs of arms. Another advantage is the relatively low cost due to the small number of structural components. However, delta 3D printers have received limited use. The main reason is the low positioning accuracy of the end effector. Errors in the manufacture and assembly of components of a parallel drive mechanism add up geometrically and cause an error in the position of the end effector. These formulas can be applied to a 3D printer as well. However, well-known studies consider deterministic models. Therefore, the analysis is performed for limiting size errors. The purpose of this article is to simulate the effect of statistical errors in displacements and arm lengths on the positioning errors of a platform with the end effector. The article effectively complements the field of error analysis research and provides theoretical advice on error compensation for delta 3D printer.

Résumé :
As the consumer market in the optics, electronics and aerospace industries grows, the profile accuracy demand for ultra-precision flat, spherical and aspheric optical surface micro-lens increases. Previous studies have found that machine system accuracy, tool alignment error and tool radius measurement error impact greatly on the profile accuracy of the machined surface. In this paper, we developed a grinding system based on the ultra-precision diamond lathe, presented a unified mathematical model of effects of all the geometric errors to the shape error by using the multi-body system theory. Aiming at the main source of profile error, the practical mathematical model is derived, and their propagation coefficients to profile error are calculated. By means of simulation analysis and grinding experiments of spherical part of tugnsten carbide, we conclude that the radial tool alignment error is the main influencing factor for the profile error of spherical surface; while tool radius measurement error influence the radius of sphere only.

Résumé :
Augmented reality (AR) systems typically use see-through head-mounted displays (STHMDs) to superimpose images of computer-generated objects onto the user's view of the real environment in order to augment it with additional information. The main failing of current AR systems is that the virtual objects displayed in the STHMD appear in the wrong position relative to the real environment. This registration error has many causes: system delay, tracker error, calibration error, optical distortion, and misalignment of the model, to name only a few. Although some work has been done in the area of system calibration and error correction, very little work has been done on characterizing the nature and sensitivity of the errors that cause misregistration in AR systems. This paper presents the main results of an end-to-end error analysis of an optical STHMD-based tool for surgery planning. The analysis was done with a mathematical model of the system and the main results were checked by taking measurements on a real system under controlled circumstances. The model makes it possible to analyze the sensitivity of the system-registration error to errors in each part of the system. The major results of the analysis are: (1) Even for moderate head velocities, system delay causes more registration error than all other sources combined; (2) eye tracking is probably not necessary; (3) tracker error is a significant problem both in head tracking and in system calibration; (4) the World (or reference) coordinate system adds error and should be omitted when possible; (5) computational correction of optical distortion may introduce more delay-induced registration error than the distortion error it corrects, and (6) there are many small error sources that will make submillimeter registration almost impossible in an optical STHMD system without feedback. Although this model was developed for optical STHMDs for surgical planning, many of the results apply to other HMDs as well.

Résumé :
Centimetre-level RTK solutions are mainly influenced by satellite orbit errors, ionospheric and tropospheric delays, and measurement noise (including multipath effects). Estimation and mitigation of the main errors for the CM-level Compass RTK solutions over medium-long baselines are investigated. Tests conducted for this research lead to the following conclusions: 1.For 100 km baselines, a 4 cm error in height component will be induced by a 10 m orbit error. For longer baselines, rapid precise ephemeris will be needed for CM-level accuracy RTK solutions.2.The residual ionospheric delay error can be eliminated using the optimal triple-frequency ionosphere-free linear combination with the coefficients of 2·6087, −0·5175 and −1·0912 respectively for observations on f1, f2 and f3 frequencies. This combination is optimal in terms of its noise level, e.g., the noise is only amplified three times. It can be used for high accuracy RTK positioning.3.The residual tropospheric delay can be resolved for the introduced relative zenith tropospheric delay (RZTD) parameters. It is shown that the RTK solutions estimated from the least squares (LS) with the RZTD parameters are worse than that without these parameters. For instance, the errors in the height components are amplified approximately three times, which may be caused by the strong correlation between the introduced RZTD parameters and the height components. However, considering the fact that the residual zenith tropospheric delays vary slowly with time and the variation can be assumed to follow a random walk process, the RTK solutions can be improved using the Kalman filter and a priori information for the RZTD parameters.

Résumé :
The accuracy of linear motion guide greatly affects the form accuracy of the processed parts in precision machine tools. For the linear ball guide, it is an important issue that how to improve accuracy by optimizing structure parameters based on the geometric errors. Due to the diversity of geometric errors and structure parameters, it requires a quantitative indicator of error averaging ability to judge whether a linear ball guide has higher accuracy. In this article, based on the newly built accuracy model and the newly defined averaging coefficient, the influence of rail profile errors and deformation errors on the error motions in five degrees of freedom can be quantitatively studied for the guides with one row of balls, one block and four blocks. It finds that, both the straightness and angular accuracies increase as the number of contact balls increases. For the guides with one and four blocks, the profile errors with integer wave numbers have main influence on the straightness and primary angular (around the moving direction) error motions, while those near both sides of integer wave numbers have main influence on the supporting angular error motions. The influence of deformation errors on accuracy coincides with that of profile errors. The accuracy model discussed can be conveniently used to predict error motions, select optimized number of contact balls and select optimized spacing of adjacent mounting holes in the design process of linear ball guide.

Résumé :
The load sharing characteristics of the herringbone planetary transmission system are a key indicator for evaluating the bearing stability and reliability of each planet gear in the transmission system. The value of the load sharing coefficient is closely related to the manufacturing error and the assembly error in gear processing and assembly process. Therefore, it is indispensable to study the influence mechanism of these errors on the load sharing characteristics of the transmission system. Nevertheless, researches on the multi-coupling transmission error to the load sharing characteristics of herringbone planetary transmission system did not receive enough attention, but much of the single errors. Based on the centralized parameters theory and the Lagrange method, this research establishes a dynamic model for herringbone planetary transmission system and creatively proposes a study of multi-coupling error which consists of eccentric error, tooth profile error, stagger angle and assembly error. This work shows that the changing regulation of the load sharing characteristics with any one of the above errors is different. However, the load sharing characteristics become worse with the increase of multi-coupling error, in which the eccentric error plays a main role. Therefore, the error control should focus on eccentric error.

Résumé :
In CNC machining, various errors, which caused by the cutting process and the structure of the machine tool, affect the machining accuracy of the machined parts. To analyze the relationship among the cutting force induced error, the thermal deformation, and the tool wear induced error, the empirical formula is employed in this study. The result shows that the cutting force is the main factor which affects the error distribution of the machined parts; the thermal deformation and the tool wear induced error change the error distribution. Furthermore, all the errors are coupling each other. To improve the accuracy of the machined parts, a pre-compensation method is proposed. To achieve the real-time error compensation, an application is designed to calculate the coupling error and to generate the NC code. Using the pre-compensation method, the maximum error is reduced from 0.015 mm to 0.002 mm. The error is compensated by 86.7% compared with no compensation.

Résumé :
The main emphasis of the article is that in civil proceedings, as in any type of proceedings, all judicial acts are subject to such a requirement as legality. Proper and timely application of procedural law is designed to ensure the correct application of substantive law. It is argued that a judge should always keep in mind that any rule of law is an integral part of the entire legal system and acts in conjunction with other rules of law. That is why one of the main ways of understanding a rule of law on the subject of its legality is a systematic interpretation, taking into account that the law can not be reduced to a system of legislative norms. The author defines the conditions, in the presence and in the aggregate of which, the judicial act is legal. The illegality of a judicial act is evidenced by the incorrect application of substantive law and / or violation of procedural law. It is emphasized that the illegality of a judicial act is the basis for its revocation by a higher instance and its adoption of a new court decision or its amendment.Particular attention is focused on highlighting the concept and main features of miscarriage of justice in civil proceedings. The author's definition of the term "judicial error" is offered. The author emphasizes that judicial error should always be corrected. However, if it is established that the errors made by the court did not lead to an incorrect decision of the case, the higher court must in the decision to leave the complaint unsatisfied and leave the lower court act unchanged to indicate the error of the lower court with arguments why it is not influenced the correctness of the decision of the civil case and why it is not a ground for revocation of the judicial act.

Résumé :
Abstract. Inverse modelling of carbon sources and sinks requires an accurate estimate of the quality of the observations to obtain a realistic estimate of the inferred fluxes and their uncertainties. Representation errors, defined here as the mismatch between point observations and grid cell averages, may add substantial uncertainty to the interpretation of atmospheric CO2 concentration data. We used a high resolution (2 km) mesoscale model (RAMS) to simulate the variations in the CO2 concentration to estimate the representation errors for grid sizes of 10–100 km. Meteorology is the main driver of representation errors in our study causing spatial and temporal variations in the error estimate. Within the nocturnal boundary layer the representation errors are relatively large and mainly determined by unresolved topography at lower model resolutions. During the day, surface CO2 flux variability and mesoscale circulations were found to be the main sources of representation errors. Careful up-scaling of point observations can reduce the importance of the representation error substantially. The remaining representation error is in the order of 0.5–1.5 ppm at 20–100 km resolution.

AbstractIdentification of errors in anatomic pathology is an important issue in medical practice. The main objective of this study was to determine the prevalence and characterize preanalytic errors in surgical pathology and cytology samples. We also intended to explore associations between error prevalence and procedures implemented in hospitals concerning the type of requisition forms, use of guidelines for case acceptance and existence of error notification system. We analyzed 10,574 cases in five Portuguese hospitals. The pathology laboratories recorded during 20 days all cases submitted with preanalytic errors, using an input form that allowed the identification of sample type, error description, action taken before error, the professional who detected the fail and the test cycle segment where it was identified. Subsequently, particular procedures in use for preanalytic phase were characterized for each hospital. The prevalence of cases with error was 3.1% (330/10,574), 95% confidence interval: 2.8%–3.5%. Errors occurred in 4.1% (250/6079) of histology specimens and 0.9% (40/4477) of cytology specimens, and included errors in the requisition forms (2.6% error rate) and in the sample container (1.5% error rate). Acceptance of cases with error was the most frequent action (66.9%), followed by rejection (24.4%) and retention (8.7%).The existence of written norms for sample acceptance and error reporting systems to submitting services and patient safety department were proven to be associated to lower error prevalence.

Résumé :
Abstract The manufacturing precision of involute worms constitutes a major requirement. On the one hand, the worm constitutes the input element of the worm drive; secondly, the involute helical surface is the basic surface of an involute worm-hob. This paper presents an analytic comparison between the involute surfaces obtained using theoretical equations, kinematic simulation of the cutting and the surface charged with errors. The surface error is considered the distance along the normal direction to the theoretical surface, measured between this and the surface charged with simulated manufacturing errors. The main sources of errors are considered the center-error of the edge plane, the edge profile error and deviation of the axial feed direction from the axis of the worm. The theoretical results allow us to conclude that the influence of the edge profile error is the largest. It is followed by the parallelism error between the feed direction and the axis of the worm, and finally, the center error of the tool edge.

Résumé :
The article provides an analysis of the sources of errors of reflectometers. The main error of reflectometers is the methodological component, which is determined by the error of setting the phase velocity of the pulse. The phase velocity of the pulse depends on various external factors. The instrumental component of the error is due to the instability of the reflected pulse shape and the presence of noise in the signal. Based on metrological analysis, an intelligent reflectometer was developed for monitoring overhead power transmission lines. The developed reflectometer contains blocks and nodes to compensate and reduce the main components of the total error. The developed reflectometer makes it possible to increase the accuracy of determining the accident site and reduce the recovery time of the line, and, consequently, increase the reliability of power supply.
