Il contributo si propone di offrire una panoramica sullo stato del fumetto 2.0 – vengono così definite quelle forme di fumetto che hanno luogo su blog e social network – attraverso l’analisi della sua lingua. Prospettiva che porta a individuare degli elementi di continuità del fumetto 2.0 con quello tradizionale; a dar conto di variabili che collocano il fumetto digitale nel solco del più ampio fenomeno del fumetto d’autore; e a dare un primo sguardo alle problematiche derivate dal passaggio del medium fumetto dalla carta al pixel. Come campione esemplificativo, e certo non esaustivo, del fumetto 2.0 si sono quindi scelte le opere di quattro autori la cui presenza sul web ha seguito tempi e modalità differenti, nell’ordine: Leo Ortolani, Zerocalcare, Sio e Fumettibrutti.

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo esbozar el diseño de una ontología —denominada DHistOntology— común para el Nuevo Diccionario Histórico del Español (NDHE) de la Real Academia Española y el Tesoro della Lingua Italiana delle Origini (TLIO) del instituto de investigación “Opera del Vocabolario Italiano” (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche) - Accademia della Crusca. En concreto, mostraremos la metodología y los procedimientos que se han llevado a cabo en la construcción del dominio correspondiente a la salud y la enfermedad, cuya finalidad es que se pueda proyectar una búsqueda de palabras más eficaz, implementada computacionalmente, en este par de repertorios lexicográficos digitales, al mismo tiempo que dé cuenta tanto del ingente caudal terminológico almacenado en los mismos como de la red de relaciones que entre ambos se establecen. Nos servimos, pues, de las nuevas herramientas tecnológicas —que nos brinda la inteligencia artificial— para la gestión del conocimiento en la web semántica aplicadas a la lexicografía histórica.

Il Corpus Rhythmorm Musicum (CRM) è un progetto ideato da Francesco Stella, che dà edizione critica dei rhytmhi – poesie latine medievali basate su un principio sillabico e accentuativo – che siano prodotti dal quarto al nono secolo e provvisti di almeno una melodia attestata nella tradizione manoscritta. A seguito della pubblicazione del primo volume e del CD-ROM (Firenze, SISMEL, Edizioni Del Galluzzo, 2007), contenenti canti di tradizione non liturgica, Luigi Tessarolo ha riprogrammato il database per il web nel 2011. Nel database, liberamente accessibile online (<http://www.corimu.unisi.it/>), per ogni rhythmus, oltre all’edizione digitale di poesie e musiche (curate da S. Barrett), è possibile visualizzare: tutti i manoscritti collazionati e le loro descrizioni; le trascrizioni di poesie e melodie nei diversi testimoni (insieme a quelle alfanumeriche e alle esecuzioni musicali dirette da G. Baroffio, curatore del reperimento delle trascrizioni moderne); le schede con il profilo storico, letterario ed ecdotico, quelle su versi e lingua. Da esse derivano le tavole linguistiche di C. Cenni, F. Sivo, P. Stoppacci e le statistiche lessicali, un repertorio delle forme ritmiche curato da E. D’Angelo e C. Pérez González e un menù di ricerca che permette di porre domande complesse al database. Si presentano in questa sede le possibilità d’analisi offerte dal CRM e si indaga sul ruolo svolto dall’elemento melodico nella formazione di questi componimenti. S’indicano, infine, alcuni studi sorti grazie al database, nonché i progetti in corso: l’edizione dei rhythmi computistici – su calendario, astronomia e metodo per calcolare la data della Pasqua – e gli inni ritmici.

INTRODUZIONE:Risultati recenti di alcuni studi sembrano riscontrare dei miglioramenti nella sintomatologia dei pazienti affetti da PTSD sottoposti a terapia con cannabis terapeutica (THC, CBD e NABILONE). Alcune revisioni hanno messo in luce, tuttavia, come si siano riscontrate diverse metodologie di assunzione e diverse forme di agente terapeutico e di come gli studi inclusi presentassero bias di varia natura. A fronte di queste evidenze, ha senso effettuare una nuova Scoping Review finalizzata ad eseguire una mappatura degli studi primari presenti in letteratura che riportino prove di efficacia rispetto l’utilizzo della cannabis per il trattamento della sintomatologia del PTSD riscontrate sino ad oggi, col fine di descrivere le modalità d’utilizzo, le posologie l’aderenza alla terapia dei pazienti ed alcune caratteristiche specifiche del campione che potrebbero risultare influenti come l’abuso precedente di alcool e droghe e l’aderenza a terapie pregresse. METODI E ANALISI:Questa scoping review seguirà la metodologia del Joanna Briggs Institute, contenuta nel JBI Manual for Evidence Synthesis. La ricerca della letteratura sarà condotta attraverso i database PubMed, Scopus, Web Of Science, Cochrane Library, Elsevier, Psycinfo; in aggiunta, saranno consultate anche fonti di letteratura grigia. Saranno inclusi unicamente trial clinici (randomizzati e non) e studi quasi sperimentali in lingua italiana o inglese e disponibili in versione full text. Le informazioni chiave degli studi saranno estratte e presentate sia in forma narrativa che in forma riassuntiva con opportune tabelle per dare una panoramica adeguata dei contenuti della letteratura scientifica esistente sull’argomento.

El acoso escolar en alumnado diagnosticado con Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA) es uno de los temas más recurrentes en el mundo de la educación debido al impacto negativo que tiene el acoso escolar en las vidas de este tipo de alumnado. Este suceso no solo afecta al propio estudiante a nivel académico, sino también a nivel personal, y se extiende también a las personas que le rodean. Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la literatura científica sobre el acoso escolar en alumnado con TEA publicada en las bases de datos Web of Science y Scopus entre los años 2016 y 2020. Después del proceso de depuración de documentos se obtuvieron 133 documentos entre ambas bases de datos, los cuales fueron analizados con distintos indicadores bibliométricos como la producción temporal, la producción de revistas, la producción por autor, la categoría temática, la producción según el país, el tipo de documento y el número de citas. Finalmente, y después de poder haber corroborado las tres hipótesis planteadas, se concluye que es un tema muy citado e investigado por numerosos autores, y que su investigación aumenta con el paso de los años. Además, la mayoría de publicaciones están realizadas en inglés y publicadas desde Estados Unidos o Reino Unido, dada la importancia que tiene la lengua inglesa como Lingua Franca. Dos de las revistas que más publicaron sobre este tema fueron Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders and Autism, prestigiosas revistas que publican sobre el TEA y que tienen un factor de impacto en los últimos cinco años de 5.671 y 5.689, respectivamente. Por último, se discuten las temáticas identificadas, las limitaciones encontradas y otras conclusiones.

Luisa Muraro es una de las figuras más representativas de este pensamiento y una de las fundadoras de la Librería. Es filósofa, estudió en la Universidad Católica y fue docente en la Universidad de Verona, donde crea la comunidad filosófica de Diotima. L´ordine simbolico della madre (1991) [El orden simbólico de la madre (1994)] es un libro fundamental para entender las nociones de “autoridad materna”, “affidamento” o “continuum materno” que vertebran este feminismo. Lingua materna, scienza divina. Scritti sulla filosofía mistica di Margherita Porete (1995), Le amiche di Dio (2001), Il Dio delle donne (2005), La signora del gioco (2006), Al mercato della felicitá (2009), Dio è violent (2012), L´anima del corpo (2016) son algunos de sus libros, varios de los cuales han sido traducidos al castellano. Clara Jourdan, estrecha colaboradora de la Libreria delle donne, es profesora de escuela media en Derecho y Economía Política, actualmente no ejerce. Está vinculada, además, al Grupo Duoda de Barcelona y es docente en el Master presencial y online sobre el pensamiento de la Diferencia sexual en la Universidad de Barcelona. Algunas de sus publicaciones son La politica del Desiderio. Originalità del femminismo italiano (2010), Cuando el derecho se convierte en una barrera simbólica (2009), El enigma de la mujer maltratada (2009), La Librería de mujeres en el presente (2008), Educar en relación. La ricca documentazione custodita dagli archivi scolastici ha elementi di grande interesse sotto diversi aspetti, sicuramente sotto il profilo linguistico e per la didattica perché, confrontandosi con un patrimonio storico-educativo disperso, gli studenti sviluppano la consapevolezza di lavorare per un bene comune. I “Giornali della classe” dei maestri elementari costituiscono un’occasione per una didattica della variazione e per la riflessione sulla lingua, fondate sulla diretta esperienza di fonti “dal basso” tratte dal proprio territorio e dal proprio ambiente quotidiano. Dopo aver illustrato i riferimenti teorici e alcune proposte relative all’utilizzo di fonti non letterarie e non istituzionali per la didattica dell’italiano e aver descritto struttura, contenuti e caratteri linguistici e stilistici dei Registri dei maestri nella prima metà del Novecento, si presentano alcune proposte operative che utilizzano la rete o prevedono la realizzazione (e condivisione) di prodotti multimediali e multimodali, con attività sul parlato, sullo scritto e sull’interazione tra differenti sistemi di codici e risorse modali. Laboratori di trascrizione dei Giornali (anche inseriti in progetti più articolati per la ricostruzione della memoria scolastica e locale e con altre scuole, sfruttando le potenzialità del crowdsourcing) possono essere rivolti a studenti dei diversi cicli e, come per l’esperienza realizzata in una scuola media di cui si commentano i risultati, condotti con esperienze di riflessione su tutti i livelli di analisi e con attività di scrittura. From the (school) basement to the web: proposals for teaching language variation The rich documentation preserved in the school archives has elements is very interesting for the history of italian language and for teaching italian. Through these texts students develop the awareness of working for a common good. The “Giornali della classe” of the elementary teachers constitute an opportunity for teaching variation and for reflection on the language, based on the direct experience of sources “dal basso” taken from one's own territory. This paper illustrates the theoretical references and some proposals relating to the use of non-literary sources for teaching Italian and described the structure, contents and linguistic and stylistic characteristics of the “Giornali” in the first half of the twentieth century. The article then presents some educational proposals that use the web, with multimedia and multimodal products, activities on speech, writing and the interaction between different systems. Texts can be transcribed (also for the reconstruction of scholastic and local memory and with other schools, trhough crowdsourcing) by students of various school cycles. Workshop, such as the one commented for a middle school, can be conducted with experiences of reflection on the different levels of analysis and with writing activities.

L’indagine si concentra sull’aderenza del ricettario al canone della prescrittività, evidenziandone i supporti lessicali, che fanno riferimento al ruolo dell’enunciatore e alla pressione sul destinatario, le forme verbali ricorrenti e gli allocutivi. Lo schema comune alle ricette è articolato in promessa – difficoltà e avvertimenti – risultato, con una promozione dei piatti che ricorda molto da vicino il messaggio pubblicitario: elativi, alterati, anafore, nell’ambito di una concezione della buona cucina i cui parametri sono l’economicità, la velocità e la facilità di realizzazione, la sostanziosità, la bontà al gusto, la novità, il “far figura”. Si è dato spazio in particolare alla dialogicità della parola di Petronilla: verticale, con la costante interpellazione delle lettrici riguardo al numero delle persone, alle difficoltà nel realizzare una pietanza, alle piccole preferenze nell’approntarla; orizzontale, all’interno del testo, fra i personaggi che compaiono e che interagiscono fra loro. Della fitta trama di domande fittizie alle lettrici si è ricercato il valore pragmatico e testuale, a partire da quelle con cui inizia la presa di contatto con le «amichette» fino allo stereotipato «Non v’ho detto?» che sottolinea, nel finale, il raggiungimento dei risultati promessi. Sulla base dell’impalcatura pragmatica e retorica e delle annotazioni di carattere metalinguistico (chiarimenti sul nome dei piatti e sulla loro origine, spiegazioni riguardanti la terminologia medica) la ricerca rintraccia alcune analogie, pur con le difformità lessicali che la diversità delle materie trattate impone, con la lingua dell’altro personaggio inventato dall’autrice, il dottor Amal. Other recipes by Petronilla (1937): linguistic observations The investigation focuses on the cookbook’s adherence to the canon of prescriptiveness, highlighting its lexical supports, which refer to the role of the enunciator and the pressure on the addressee, recurrent verbal forms and allocutives. The common pattern of the recipes is divided into promise-difficulty and warnings-result, with a promotion of the dishes that closely resembles the advertising message: elatives, alteratives, anaphora, in the context of a conception of good cooking whose parameters are affordability, speed and ease of preparation, substantiality, tastiness, novelty, and “making an impression”. Particular space was given to the dialogical nature of Petronilla’s words: vertical, with the constant questioning of the readers about the number of people, the difficulties in making a dish, the small preferences in preparing it; horizontal, within the text, among the characters who appear and interact with each other. Within the dense web of fictitious questions to the readers, the pragmatic and textual value has been sought, starting with those with which the contact with the “little friends” begins and ending with the stereotypical “Didn't I tell you?” that emphasizes, in the finale, the achievement of the promised results. On the basis of the pragmatic and rhetorical scaffolding and metalinguistic annotations (clarifications on the name of the dishes and their origin, explanations concerning medical terminology), the paper traces some similarities, albeit with the lexical dissimilarities that the diversity of the subjects dealt with imposes, with the language of the other character invented by the author, Dr. Amal.

I sei romanzi della scrittrice di origine somala Igiaba Scego qui presi in considerazione sono contraddistinti, specialmente i primi, da un accentuato plurilinguismo, data la presenza di parole somale, arabe, spagnole, francesi e inglesi, mescolate a voci dialettali romane e napoletane. Utilizzando queste opere come corpus si propone un glossario dei 153 migratismi che si sono rintracciati. Per ognuno di essi si segnalano le eventuali varianti grafiche e si riportano le informazioni grammaticali, la lingua di provenienza e il campo semantico. I significati, quando possibile, sono ricavati da fonti interne al corpus (glossari proposti dalla stessa autrice) o esterne (studi critici o vocabolari, qualora la registrazione lessicografica sia già avvenuta), altrimenti sono desunte a partire dal contesto. Per ogni migratismo si dà poi l’elenco delle occorrenze nel corpus e un breve commento in cui si riportano i dati relativi alla diffusione della parola nei corpora di raffronto considerati, costituiti da archivi giornalistici o testi web. Migrant words. Igiaba Scego’s migrantisms The novels of the Somali-born writer Igiaba Scego are characterized by a marked multilingualism. Especially in the early novels, we find Somali, Arabic, Spanish, French and English words, mixed with Roman and Neapolitan dialect voices. Using these works as a corpus, a glossary of the 153 “migratismi” that have been traced is proposed. For each one, any graphic variants, the grammatical information, the language of origin and the semantic field are reported. A definition of meaning is given from internal sources (Igiaba’s glossaries) or external sources (e. g. vocabularies or neological repertoires). In the absence of sources, the definition is taken from the context. For each “migratismo”, the list of occurrences in the corpus is given and also a brief comment in which the data relating to the spread of the word in the comparison corpora are reported.

Abstract A fragment of mandible and two metapodials complete unearthed from the fossiliferous aera of Kossom Bougoudi (KB3 and KB26), northern Chad are described. A comparative study allows to assign these specimens to Paracamelus gigas. The evolutionnary degree is compatible with an age around the Mio-Pliocene boundary (ca 5 Ma). Then, the Chadian remains are the oldest adequately dated record of this family in Africa. They are contemporaneous with the oldest known evidence of the genus Paracamelus from the late Miocene of Asia and Europe. Introduction. – During several field seasons in northern Chad, the “Mission Paléoanthropologique Franco-Tchadienne” (M. P. F. T) discovered new sites in the Kossom Bougoudi (KB) fossiliferous area, west of australopithecine sites [Brunet et al., 1995, 1997; Brunet and M.P.F.T, 2000]. These sites yielded a rich vertebrate fauna (fish, reptiles, birds and mammals), and have been biochronologically dated at around 5 Ma old, close to the Mio-Pliocene boundary [Brunet and M. P. F.T, 2000]. Among the mammal fauna, some remains of Camelidae provide the earliest evidence of this group in Africa, which was previously thought to be younger than 4 Ma, at Laetoli [Harris, 1987] and Koobi Fora [Harris, 1991]. Specimens from sites KB3 and KB26 are described here. Description Material : KB3.97.316 : right mandible fragment with p3, p4-m1 roots and m2-m3 teeth; KB3.99.03 : right metatarsus; KB26.97.03 : right metatarsus The mandible is rather robust with a high horizontal ramus. The mental foramen is located below m1. The p3 alveolus and p4 roots attest elongated premolars. The lingual face of the molars is flat. The third lobe of m3 is less labially shifted than in the living camels. There is no cement, nor cingulum. The metatarsals are long and robust (tab. III), and show a deep groove on the proximal anterior and posterior faces. The distal condyles are divergent and separated by a deep interarticular notch. They are symmetrical and of the same size differences, in contrast with the extant species where the external condyle is more slender than the internal one. Comparison. – The mandible (KB3.97.316) differs from the Camelus species mandible by having (1) a robust and deeper horizontal ramus, (2) a well developed p3, (3) a third lobe of m3 less labially shifted (4) Chadian metatarsals are morphologically different from those the living camels and being extremely long (tab. II). All characters of the Chadian specimens are congruent with Zdansky’s [1926] and Teilhard and Trassaert’s [1937] descriptions of genus Paracamelus. The KB horizontal ramus is deeper than that of P. alutensis (tab. I) from the early Pleistocene of Oltet Valley, Romania [Stefanescu, 1910]. The premolar row is longer. Unfortunately, a detailed comparison with P. aguirrei from the late Miocene (MN13) of Venta del Moro and Librilla, Spain is impossible because this species was defined on skeletal elements (upper molars, calcaneum, phalanxes) not yet recovered from Chad. However, the estimated alveolar length of p3 (20 mm) is similar to those of P. aguirrei (18,8 – 21,6 mm according to Morales [1984]). Lengths of KB tooth row (tab. I) and metatarsals (tab. II) fit into the range of variation recorded by Zdansky [1926] and by Teilhard and Trassaert [1937] for P. gigas from the late Miocene of China. The Chadian material cannot be assigned to the species P. alexejevi from the Pliocene (MN15) of Ukraine, because this species is smaller than P. aguirrei and P. gigas [Morales, 1984]. In conclusion, specimens from Chad do not display any important difference with Chinese species P. gigas and can tentatively be referred to this species. Biochronology and paleobiogeography. – The earliest known Old World camel correspond to P. aguirrei from the late Miocene (MN13) of Venta del Moro and Librilla in Spain [Morales et al., 1980; Made and Morales, 1999]. After Made and Morales [1999], this species is probably the ancestor of P. alexejevi from of Odessa Catacombs (MN15), Ukraine. In Europe, the chronological range of P. alutensis covers the Plio-Pleistocene. This species is present in the lower Pleistocene of Oltet Valley, Romania [Stefanescu, 1910] and in the early and Middle Pliocene (MN16) of Russia [Baigusheva, 1971]. It is also present in the late Pliocene of Sarikol Tepe, Turkey [Kostopoulos and Sen, 1999]. In China, the earliest record of P. gigas is about 5.5 Ma [Flynn, 1997; Made and Morales, 1999]. In conclusion the chronological range of Paracamelus is from the late Miocene to the Pleistocene. However, the Chadian specimens size is close to P. gigas (first occurrence in China around 5.5 Ma) and P. aguirrei from late Miocene (MN13) of Europe. The occurrence of Paracamelus at KB and its absence from the younger Chadian sites (3-4 Ma) of Koro-Toro and Kollé [Brunet et al., 1995; 1996] as well as in the Plio-Pleistocene localities of Africa, are congruent with an age close to the Mio-Pliocene boundary for the sites of KB. This interpretation is confirmed by the associated fauna, that indicates ca 5 Ma old for the whole of KB fossiliferous area [Brunet and M.P.F.T, 2000]. The age of the Chadian Paracamelus is close to the Mio-Pliocene boundary, slightly younger than specimens from late Miocene of China [Zdansky, 1926; Flynn, 1997], Spain [Morales et al., 1980] and Turkey [Made et al., 2002]. This demonstrates that the group had a wider distribution than previously thought. It indicates that the Camelidae reach a widespread distribution soon after their arrival from northern America [Webb, 1965; Pickford et al., 1993]. Conclusion. – The Chadian material displays distinctive features which allows to refer it to Paracamelus gigas. This taxon, poorly documented in Eurasia, has not been previously recognised in Africa. It will contribute to deciphering the phylogenetic relationships between various species of Paracamelus and the extant Camelus.

L’articolo indaga le forme del disaccordo nei commenti alle pagine Facebook di quattro politici svizzeri di lingua italiana, concentrandosi sugli indicatori della reattività verso uno o più turni precedenti. Il contesto comunicativo in esame impone di operare una distinzione preliminare, fondata sulla selezione di un target singolare o plurale per la mossa di disaccordo. Le due opzioni manifestano diversi intrecci tra l’uso di indicatori tecnici largamente mediospecifici, come la menzione e il formato grafico del testo, e l’uso di indicatori linguistici di carattere più generico, come nomi propri e pronomi allocutivi. Il disaccordo rivolto verso un target singolare si rivela nettamente più frequente e in gran parte determinato dalla facilità di accesso all’opzione “Rispondi”, che consente all’utente di costruire in maniera immediata un legame dialogico con un precedente turno conversazionale. Il disaccordo verso un target plurale, molto più raro, dipende dall’uso di specifici indicatori linguistici di pluralità, che producono un riassestamento del participation framework disegnato dall’interfaccia di Facebook. Nel complesso, l’analisi conferma la necessità – ormai riconosciuta dalla maggior parte degli studi – di andare oltre una valutazione onnicomprensiva della lingua del web, e di restringere il fuoco su singoli ambienti comunicativi della rete con attenzione alle loro specificità.

As tecnologias digitais estão diariamente na vida das pessoas e vêm colaborando com a aprendizagem de outras línguas. O objetivo deste trabalho é depreender usos de tecnologias digitais em práticas de letramentos com língua inglesa por estudantes do ensino médio. Através de capturas de tela de redes sociais e bate-papo dos jogos, bem como entrevistas semiestruturada em grupo. Foi possível analisar interações dos estudantes do ensino médio com colegas de outros países, posicionamentos acerca do uso do inglês dentro e fora da escola, bem como indícios das condições escolares do ensino de língua inglesa. As análises dos dados baseiam-se em enfoques dos Estudos dos Letramentos e das tecnologias digitais, os quais reconhecem o valor das novas tecnologias não apenas em sala de aula, mas também em práticas vernaculares. Para os sujeitos da pesquisa, a aprendizagem que ocorre dentro do ambiente virtual, especificamente nos jogos online, se caracteriza como como autônoma e interativa, enquanto as práticas em sala de aula são percebidas como as que oportunizam a aprendizagem da escrita padrão do inglês. Entretanto, apesar de os estudantes apontarem a escola e a internet como distantes, os sujeitos não negam as contribuições da escola na aprendizagem da língua inglesa, porém não estabelecem uma ligação entre as práticas vernaculares dos jogos online e das práticas dominantes escolares. Conviene resaltar que estos desarrollos se basan en el aprendizaje de forma lúdica, mediante un juego educativo, lo cual potencia su uso por todos en general y por las nuevas generaciones en particular. Esto diferencia a estos desarrollos de otras alternativas, como son las listas de textos escritos o diccionarios existentes. Dicho con otras palabras, el objetivo es innovar desde el diccionario clásico al juego educativo. Consideramos que ello es un elemento clave para incentivar y motivar al posible usuario. Dichos juegos educativos están diseñados para una visualización óptima desde el navegador web Apple Safari con iPhone e iPod touch (también se pueden usar en el iPad, así como con Mac o Windows). Es indudable que el inglés es el idioma universal y la lingua franca de nuestros días. Sin embargo, el nivel general de inglés en la Universidad de Córdoba puede ser significativamente mejorado, incluyendo Personal Docente e Investigador (PDI), alumnos y Personal de Administración y Servicios (PAS). Esta realidad puede extrapolarse a Andalucía y a España entera. Se trata de un hecho de notable importancia, sobre todo si se tiene en cuenta que la tendencia progresiva es hacia la impartición de clases en inglés. Por tanto, la situación actual nos pone en desventaja frente al proceso de Convergencia Europea (ECTS/EEES), la competitividad empresarial y el acceso al mercado laboral de nuestros egresados, por citar sólo algunos ejemplos. Esta realidad cobra especial relevancia en un mundo cada vez más globalizado. Faltan, por otra parte, herramientas específicas de enseñanza, aprendizaje, uso y perfeccionamiento del inglés (con aplicación académica general, docente, investigadora, asistencial y de gestión) que incidan en las peculiaridades de los hispanoparlantes en general y de los universitarios en particular. El proyecto realizado ha usado las nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) para el desarrollo y aplicación de herramientas multimedia y multiplataforma que ayuden a mejorar dichas carencias. El programa contiene una base de datos de errores comunes en el uso del inglés (F). El funcionamiento del recurso es tan intuitivo que no requiere instrucciones especiales: basta navegar hasta iErrors-F y seguir las instrucciones del juego educativo que aparecen en pantalla. La metodología utilizada es doble. Por una parte, se ha desarrollado dicho programa a modo de juego de aprendizaje para su acceso universal vía Internet. Por otra parte, los alumnos han jugado con el mismo de forma presencial y no presencial, analizándose después en clase los avances alcanzados en el aprendizaje del inglés, mediante las correspondientes evaluaciones de progreso. Con ello se ha conseguido una significativa mejora en el aprendizaje de inglés de los alumnos, en un campo en el que los propios angloparlantes cometen errores. El uso de esta herramienta permite una mejora de la docencia, aprendizaje y uso de dicho idioma, mejorando también con ello la calidad de las diferentes actividades desarrolladas en la universidad: académica general, docente, investigadora, asistencial y de gestión. De este modo se contribuye a aumentar la competitividad de la universidad, preparando a la misma para una mejor adaptación al Sistema de Convergencia Europea, actualizando la docencia en las nuevas tecnologías y mejorando la formación pedagógica del profesorado. Asimismo, todo ello genera un perfil más internacional y abierto de nuestra universidad, incrementando su calidad, y con ello el número de alumnos y profesores que la elijan.

As more and more multilingual knowledge becomes available on the Web, knowledge sharing across languages has become an important task to benefit many applications. One of the most crucial kinds of knowledge on the Web is taxonomy, which is used to organize and classify the Web data. To facilitate knowledge sharing across languages, we need to deal with the problem of cross-lingual taxonomy alignment, which discovers the most relevant category in the target taxonomy of one language for each category in the source taxonomy of another language. Current approaches for aligning cross-lingual taxonomies strongly rely on domain-specific information and the features based on string similarities. In this paper, we present a new approach to deal with the problem of cross-lingual taxonomy alignment without using any domain-specific information. We first identify the candidate matched categories in the target taxonomy for each category in the source taxonomy using the cross-lingual string similarity. We then propose a novel bilingual topic model, called Bilingual Biterm Topic Model (BiBTM), to perform exact matching. BiBTM is trained by the textual contexts extracted from the Web. We conduct experiments on two kinds of real world datasets. The experimental results show that our approach significantly outperforms the designed state-of-the-art comparison methods.

Problema. –La lengua apoya funciones fisiológicas de alimentación, fonación y masticación, contribuye a la higiene oral y al desarrollo de ambos maxilares. La protracción lingual, macroglosia, deglución atípica y dislalia, son problemas asociados a la disfunción lingual. Objetivo. – analizar los procesos fisiológicos bucales donde interviene la lengua, determinar procedimientos de diagnóstico de disfunción lingual, evaluar factores de riesgo que coadyuvan a su presencia y determinar su impacto en el complejo dentomaxilofacial Material y Métodos. – Investigación bibliográfica documental, retrospectiva en la búsqueda, cualitativa, descriptiva, analítica, de método deductivo. Uso de análisis P.I.C.O.S para obtención de palabras clave: disfunción lingual, frenillo lingual, mordida abierta, hábitos bucales, tipos faciales, diagnóstico; utilizando los buscadores Pubmed, Science Hub, Google académico, Web of Sciences, se encontraron 96 artículos relacionados, que por criterios de inclusión y exclusión quedaron en 32. Resultados. – La lengua cumple funciones fisiológicas de deglución, masticación, degustación, fonación y formación del bolo alimenticio. El diagnóstico a través del examen clínico y electromiográfico, permite observar sus movimientos inapropiados y relación con hábitos bucales, maloclusiones, mordidas abiertas dentoalveolares y dislalias. La disfunción lingual está asociada a hábitos deformantes. Los pacientes dólicofaciales, de estructura neuromuscular débil, son más propensos a deformaciones dentomaxilofaciales relacionadas a la disfunción. Deben ser tratadas desde temprana edad, con terapia miofuncional de ortodoncia, terapia del lenguaje y posible frenectomía. Conclusiones. – La lengua apoya funciones fisiológicas de masticación, deglución y fonación; el diagnóstico clínico – funcional y electromiográfico, permiten una buena apreciación de disfunciones relacionadas, los cuales deben ser tratados a temprana edad.

From the emergency to everyday use) examines the opportunities that online resources can offer to teaching and learning, as well as to teachers’ training. After showing how online resources can enhance students’ interaction and collaborative learning, the book illustrates how to plan and design online teaching activities, how to carry out assessment, and how teachers can use online resources for professional growth. Even though it does not focus on language teaching in particular, the book contains some useful insights that can be applied to language courses, especially with respect to enhancing interaction. It is recommended for teachers approaching fully online teaching for the first time or for teachers willing to incorporate online methods into their classrooms. De la emergencia al uso ordinario) examina las oportunidades que los recursos en línea pueden ofrecer a la enseñanza y al aprendizaje, así como a la formación del profesorado. Tras mostrar cómo los recursos en línea pueden mejorar la interacción entre estudiantes y el aprendizaje colaborativo, el libro pasa a ilustrar cómo planear y diseñar actividades para la enseñanza en línea, cómo llevar a cabo la evaluación, y cómo el profesorado puede utilizar los recursos digitales para su desarrollo profesional. Si bien no se centra de manera específica en la enseñanza de lenguas, este volumen contiene ideas de utilidad que se pueden aplicar en cursos de lenguas, principalmente en lo que a la mejora de la interación se refiere. Could we also imagine a language in which a person could write down or give vocal expression to his inner experiences -- his feelings, moods, and the rest -- for his private use? Well, can't we do so in our ordinary language? -- But that is not what I mean. The individual words of this language are to refer to what can only be known to the person speaking; to his immediate private sensations. So another person cannot understand the language. -- Ludwig Wittgenstein, Philosophical Investigations par. 243 I will be using 'audience' in two ways in the following essay: as a phenomenon that produces and is produced by media technologies (readers, hearers, viewers, Internet-users), and as something, audiens, that is essential to language itself, something without which language cannot be. I shall do so in specific references to invented languages. Who, then, are the 'consumers' of invented languages? In referring to invented languages, I am not talking about speakers of Esperanto or Occidental; I am not concerned with the invention of international auxiliary languages. These projects, already well-debated, have roots that go back at least as far as the 17th-century language philosophers who were at pains to undo the damage of Babel and restore a common language to the world. While Esperanto never became what it intended to be, it at least has readers and speakers. I am also not even talking about speakers of Klingon or Quenya. These privately invented languages have had the good fortune to be attached to popular invented cultures, and to media with enough money and publicity to generate a multitude of fans. Rather, I am talking about a phenomenon on the Internet and in a well- populated listserv whereby a number of people from all over the globe have discovered each other on-line. They all have a passion for what Jeffrey Schnapp calls uglossia ('no-language', after utopia, 'no-place'). Umberto Eco calls it 'technical insanity' or glottomania. Linguist Marina Yaguello calls language inventors fous du langage ('language lunatics') in her book of the same title. Jeffrey Henning prefers the term 'model language' in his on-line newsletter: 'miniaturized versions that provide the essence of something'. On CONLANG, people call themselves conlangers (from 'constructed language') and what they do conlanging. By forming this list, they have created a media audience for themselves, in the first sense of the term, and also literally in the second sense, as a number of them are setting up soundbytes on their elaborately illustrated and explicated Webpages. Originally devoted to advocates for international auxiliary languages, CONLANG started out about eight years ago, and as members joined who were less interested in the politics than in the hobby of language invention, the list has become almost solely the domain of the latter, whereas the 'auxlangers', as they are called, have moved to another list. An important distinguishing feature of 'conlangers' is that, unlike the 'auxlangers', there is no sustained hope that their languages will have a wide-body of hearers or users. They may wish it, but they do not advocate for it, and as a consequence their languages are free to be a lot weirder, whereas the auxlangs tend to strive for regularity and useability. CONLANG is populated by highschool, college, and graduate students; linguists; computer programmers; housewives; librarians; professors; and other users worldwide. The old debate about whether the Internet has become the 'global village' that Marshall McLuhan predicted, or whether it threatens to atomise communication 'into ever smaller worlds where enthusiasms mutate into obsessions', as Jeff Salamon warns, seems especially relevant to a study of CONLANG whose members indulge in an invention that by its very nature excludes the casual listener-in. And yet the audio-visual capacities of the Internet, along with its speed and efficiency of communication, have made it the ideal forum for conlangers. Prior to the Web, how were fellow inventors to know that others were doing -- in secret? J.R.R. Tolkien has been lauded as a rare exception in the world of invention, but would his elaborate linguistic creations have become so famous had he not published The Lord of the Rings and its Appendix? Poignantly, he tells in "A Secret Vice" about accidentally overhearing another army recruit say aloud: 'Yes! I think I shall express the accusative by a prefix!'. Obviously, silent others besides Tolkien were inventing languages, but they did not have the means provided by the Internet to discover one another except by chance. Tolkien speaks of the 'shyness' and 'shame' attached to this pursuit, where 'higher developments are locked in secret places'. It can win no prizes, he says, nor make birthday presents for aunts. His choice of title ("A Secret Vice") echoes a Victorian phrase for the closet, and conlangers have frequently compared conlanging to homosexuality, both being what conservative opinion expects one to grow out of after puberty. The number of gay men on the list has been wondered at as more than coincidental. In a survey I conducted in October 1998, many of the contributors to CONLANG felt that the list put them in touch with an audience that provided them with intellectual and emotional feedback. Their interests were misunderstood by parents, spouses, lovers, and employers alike, and had to be kept under wraps. Most of those I surveyed said that they had been inventing a language well before they had heard of the list; that they had conceived of what they were doing as unique or peculiar, until discovery of CONLANG; and that other people's Websites astounded them with the pervasive fascination of this pursuit. There are two ways to look at it: conlanging, as Henning writes, may be as common and as humanly creative as any kind of model-making, i.e., dollhouses, model trains, role-playing, or even the constructed cultures with city plans and maps in fantasy novels such as Terry Pratchett's Discworld. The Web is merely a means to bring enthusiasts together. Or it may provide a site that, with the impetus of competition and showmanship, encourages inutile and obsessive activity. Take your pick. From Hildegard von Bingen's Lingua Ignota to Dante's Inferno and the babbling Nimrod to John Dee's Enochian and on, invented languages have smacked of religious ecstacy, necromancy, pathology, and the demonic. Twin speech, or 'pathological idioglossia', was dramatised by Jodie Foster in Nell. Hannah Green's 'Language of Yr' was the invention of her schizophrenic protagonist in I Never Promised You a Rose Garden. Language itself is the centre of furious theoretical debate. Despite the inventive 'deformities' it is put to in poetry, punning, jest, singing, and lying, human language, our most 'natural' of technologies, is a social machine, used by multitudes and expected to get things done. It is expected of language that it be understood and that it have not only hearers but also answerers. All human production is founded on this assumption. A language without an audience of other speakers is no language. 'Why aren't you concentrating on real languages?' continues to be the most stinging criticism. Audience is essential to Wittgenstein's remark quoted at the beginning of this essay. Wittgenstein posits his 'private languages theory' as a kind of impossibility: all natural languages, because they exist by consensus, can only refer to private experience externally. Hence, a truly private language, devoted to naming 'feelings and moods' which the subject has never heard about or shared with others, is impossible among socialised speakers who are called upon to define subjective experience in public terms. His is a critique of solipsism, a charge often directed at language inventors. But very few conlangers that I have encountered are making private languages in Wittgenstein's sense, because most of them are interested in investing their private words with public meaning, even when they are doing it privately. For them, it is audience, deeply desireable, that has been impossible until now. Writing well before the development of CONLANG, Yaguello takes the stance that inventing a language is an act of madness. 'Just look at the lunatic in love with language', she writes: sitting in his book-lined study, he collects great piles of information, he collates and classifies it, he makes lists and fills card indexes. He is in the clutches of a denominatory delirium, of a taxonomic madness. He has to name everything, but before being able to name, he has to recognize and classify concepts, to enclose the whole Universe in a system of notation: produce enumerations, hierarchies, and paradigms. She is of course describing John Wilkins, whose Real Character and Universal Language in 1668 was an attempt to make each syllable of his every invented word denote its placement in a logical scheme of classification. 'A lunatic ambition', Yaguello pronounces, because it missed the essential quality of language: that its signs are arbitrary, practical, and changeable, so as to admit neologism and cultural difference. But Yaguello denounces auxiliary language makers in general as amateurs 'in love with language and with languages, and ignorant of the science of language'. Her example of 'feminine' invention comes from Helene Smith, the medium who claimed to be channeling Martian (badly disguised French). One conlanger noted that Yaguello's chapter entitled 'In Defence of Natural Languages' reminded him of the US Federal 'Defense of Marriage Act', whereby the institution of heterosexual marriage is 'defended' from homosexual marriage. Let homosexuals marry or lunatics invent language, and both marriage and English (or French) will come crashing to the ground. Schnapp praises Yaguello's work for being the most comprehensive examination of the phenomenon to date, but neither he nor she addresses linguist Suzette Haden Elgin's creative work on Láadan, a language designed for women, or even Quenya or Klingon -- languages that have acquired at least an audience of readers. Schnapp is less condemnatory than Yaguello, and interested in seeing language inventors as the 'philologists of imaginary worlds', 'nos semblables, nos frères, nos soeurs' -- after all. Like Yaguello, he is given to some generalities: imaginary languages are 'infantile': 'the result is always [my emphasis] an "impoverishment" of the natural languages in question: reduced to a limited set of open vowels [he means "open syllables"], prone to syllabic reduplication and to excessive syntactical parallelisms and symmetries'. To be sure, conlangs will never replicate the detail and history of a real language, but to call them 'impoverishments of the natural languages' seems as strange as calling dollhouses 'impoverishments of actual houses'. Why this perception of threat or diminishment? The critical, academic "audience" for language invention has come largely from non-language inventors and it is woefully uninformed. It is this audience that conlangers dislike the most: the outsiders who cannot understand what they are doing and who belittle it. The field, then, is open to re-examination, and the recent phenomenon of conlanging is evidence that the art of inventing languages is neither lunatic nor infantile. But if one is not Tolkien or a linguist supported by the fans of Star Trek, how does one justify the worthwhile nature of one's art? Is it even art if it has an audience of one ... its artist? Conlanging remains a highly specialised and technical pursuit that is, in the end, deeply subjective. Model builders and map-makers can expect their consumers to enjoy their products without having to participate in the minutia of their building. Not so the conlanger, whose consumer must internalise it, and who must understand and absorb complex linguistic concepts. It is different in the world of music. The Cocteau Twins, Bobby McFerrin in his Circle Songs, Lisa Gerrard in Duality, and the new group Ekova in Heaven's Dust all use 'nonsense' words set to music -- either to make songs that sound like exotic languages or to convey a kind of melodic glossolalia. Knowing the words is not important to their hearers, but few conlangers yet have that outlet, and must rely on text and graphs to give a sense of their language's structure. To this end, then, these are unheard, unaudienced languages, existing mostly on screen. A few conlangers have set their languages to music and recorded them. What they are doing, however, is decidedly different from the extempore of McFerrin. Their words mean something, and are carefully worked out lexically and grammatically. So What Are These Conlangs Like? On CONLANG and their links to Websites you will find information on almost every kind of no-language imaginable. Some sites are text only; some are lavishly illustrated, like the pages for Denden, or they feature a huge inventory of RealAudio and MP3 files, like The Kolagian Languages, or the songs of Teonaht. Some have elaborate scripts that the newest developments in fontography have been able to showcase. Some, like Tokana and Amman-Iar, are the result of decades of work and are immensely sophisticated. Valdyan has a Website with almost as much information about the 'conculture' as the conlang. Many are a posteriori languages, that is, variations on natural languages, like Brithenig (a mixture of the features of Brythonic and Romance languages); others are a priori -- starting from scratch -- like Elet Anta. Many conlangers strive to make their languages as different from European paradigms as possible. If imaginary languages are bricolages, as Schnapp writes, then conlangers are now looking to Tagalog, Basque, Georgian, Malagasay, and Aztec for ideas, instead of to Welsh, Finnish, and Hebrew, languages Tolkien drew upon for his Elvish. "Ergative" and "trigger" languages are often preferred to the "nominative" languages of Europe. Some people invent for sheer intellectual challenge; others for the beauty and sensuality of combining new and privately meaningful sounds. There are many calls for translation exercises, one of the most popular being 'The Tower of Babel' (Genesis 10: 1-9). The most recent innovation, and one that not only showcases these languages in all their variety but provides an incentive to learn another conlanger's conlang, is the Translation Relay Game: someone writes a short poem or composition in his or her language and sends it with linguistic information to someone else, who sends a translation with directions to the next in line all the way around again, like playing 'telephone'. The permutations that the Valdyan Starling Song went through give good evidence that these languages are not just relexes, or codes, of natural languages, but have their own linguistic, cultural, and poetic parameters of expression. They differ from real languages in one important respect that has bearing on my remarks about audience: very few conlangers have mastered their languages in the way one masters a native tongue. These creations are more like artefacts (several have compared it to poetry) than they are like languages. One does not live in a dollhouse. One does not normally think or speak in one's conlang, much less speak to another, except through a laborious process of translation. It remains to a longer cultural and sociolinguistic study (underway) to tease out the possibilities and problems of conlanging: why it is done, what does it satisfy, why so few women do it, what are its demographics, or whether it can be turned to pedagogical use in a 'hands-on', high- participation study of language. In this respect, CONLANG is one of the 'coolest' of on-line media. Only time will show what direction conlanging and attitudes towards it will take as the Internet becomes more powerful and widely used. Will the Internet democratise, and eventually make banal, a pursuit that has until now been painted with the romantic brush of lunacy and secrecy? (You can currently download LangMaker, invented by Jeff Henning, to help you construct your own language.) Or will it do the opposite and make language and linguistics -- so often avoided by students or reduced in university programs -- inventive and cutting edge? (The inventor of Tokana has used in-class language invention as a means to study language typology.) A long-term stationary experiment was conducted to examine for the purpose nine field crop rotation patterns different in the number of fields (four to six), set of crops, and their succession in crop rotation. The respective shares of legumes, oilseeds, and cereals in the cropping pattern were 17 to 33, 17 to 40, and 50 to 67 %. It has been established that in case of no-till field crop cultivation the economic efficiency of plant production depends on the set of crops and their succession in rotation. The most economically efficient type of crop rotation is the soya-winter wheat-peas-winter wheat-sunflower-corn six-field rotation with two fields of legumes : in this rotation 1 ha of crop rotation area yields 3 850 grain units per ha at a grain unit prime cost of 5.46 roubles ; the plant production output return and profitability were 20,888 roubles per ha and 113 %, respectively. The high production profitabilities provided by the soya-winter wheat-sunflower four-field and the soya-winter-wheat-sunflower-corn-winter wheat five-field crop rotation are 108.7 and 106.2 %, respectively. The inclusion of winter wheat in crop rotation for two years in a row reduces the second winter wheat crop yield by 80 to 100 %, which means a certain reduction in the grain unit harvesting rate to 3.48-3.57 thousands per ha of rotation area and cuts the production profitability down to 84.4-92.3 %. Sirotinskiy, DOI : https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00043 Abstract : This paper is concerned with solving one of the issues of the general problem of designing geophysical equipment for the natural climatic environment of the Arctic. The relevance of the topic has to do with an increased global interest in this region. The paper is aimed at considering the basic principles of developing and the procedure of testing seismic instruments for use at ultralow climatic temperatures. In this paper the indicated issue is considered through the example of a seismic module designed for petroleum and gas exploration by passive seismoacoustic methods. The seismic module is a direct-burial portable unit of around 5 kg in weight, designed to continuously measure and record microseismic triaxial orthogonal (ZNE) noise in a range from 0.1 to 45 Hz during several days in autonomous mode. The functional chart of designing the seismic module was considered, and concrete conclusions were made for choosing the necessary components to meet the ultralow-temperature operational requirements. The conclusions made served for developing appropriate seismic module. In this case, the components and tools used included a SAFT MP 176065 xc low-temperature lithium cell, industrial-spec electronic component parts, a Zhaofeng Geophysical ZF-4.5 Chinese primary electrodynamic seismic sensor, housing seal parts made of frost-resistant silicone materials, and finely dispersed silica gel used as water-retaining sorbent to avoid condensation in the housing. The paper also describes a procedure of low-temperature collation tests at the lab using a New Brunswick Scientific freezing plant. The test results proved the operability of the developed equipment at ultralow temperatures down to -55°C. In addition, tests were conducted at low microseismic noises in the actual Arctic environment. The possibility to detect signals in a range from 1 to 10 Hz at the level close to the NLNM limit (the Peterson model) has been confirmed, which allows monitoring and exploring petroleum and gas deposits by passive methods. As revealed by this study, the suggested approaches are efficient in developing high-precision mobile seismic instruments for use at ultralow climatic temperatures. The solution of the considered instrumentation and methodical issues is of great practical significance as a constituent of the generic problem of Arctic exploration. The article analyzes the results of treatment of patients with excess length of the second metatarsal bones that underwent osteotomy with and without osteosynthesis. The results of treatment of patients who underwent metatarsal shortening due to classical Weil-osteotomy with and without osteosynthesis were analyzed. The first group consisted of 34 patients. They underwent classical Weil osteotomy. The second group included 44 patients in whomosteotomy of the second metatarsal bone were not by the screw. When studying the results of the treatment in the immediate postoperative period, weeks 6, 12, slightly better results were observed in patients of the first group, while one year after surgical treatment the results in both groups were comparable. One year after surgical treatment, there were 2.9% (1 patient) of unsatisfactory results in the first group and 4.5% (2 patients) in the second group. Considering the comparability of the results of treatment in remote postoperative period, the choice of concrete method remains with the operating surgeon. Methods. A prospective 3-year study of 86 healthy dogs (aged 1-7 yrs) of different breeds and of both sexes. Echo homogeneity and echogenicity of the stomach and intestines wall were determined by the method of Silina, T.L., et al. (2010) in absolute values ​​of average brightness levels of ultrasound image pixels using the 8-bit scale with 256 shades of gray. Results. Quantitative echogenicity indicators of the stomach and the small intestine wall in dogs were determined. Based on the numerical values ​​characterizing echogenicity distribution in each layer of a separate structure of the digestive system, the coefficient of gastric echogenicity is determined as 1:2.4:1.1 (mucosa/submucosa/muscle layers, respectively), the coefficient of duodenum and jejunum echogenicity is determined as 1:3.5:2 and that of ileum is 1:1.8:1. Clinical significance. Datieva, DOI : https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00046 Abstract : The aim of this work was to assess the functional reserves of the body to quantify individual health ; adaptation, psychophysiological characteristics of the health quality of medical students in different seasons of the year. When studying the temporal organization of physiological functions, the rhythm parameters of physiological functions were determined, followed by processing the results using the Cosinor Analysis program, which reveals rhythms with an unknown period for unequal observations, evaluates 5 parameters of sinusoidal rhythms (mesor, amplitude, acrophase, period, reliability). The essence of desynchronization is the mismatch of circadian rhythms among themselves or destruction of the rhythms architectonics (instability of acrophases or their disappearance). Desynchronization with respect to the rhythmic structure of the body is of a disregulatory nature, most pronounced in pathological desynchronization. High neurotism, increased anxiety reinforces the tendency to internal desynchronization, which increases with stress. During examination stress, students experience a decrease in the stability of the temporary organization of the biosystem and the tension of adaptive mechanisms develops, which affects attention, mental performance and the quality of adaptation to the educational process. Time is shortened and the amplitude of the “initial minute” decreases, personal and situational anxiety develops, and the level of psychophysiological adaptation decreases. The results of the work are priority because they can be used in assessing quality and level of health. Tsvetkov, DOI : https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00047 Abstract : The present study of comparison methods based on the triadic model introduces the following concepts : the relation of comparability and the relation of comparison, and object comparison and attributive comparison. The difference between active and passive qualitative comparison is shown, two triadic models of passive and active comparison and models for comparing two and three objects are described. Triadic comparison models are proposed as an alternative to dyadic comparison models. Comparison allows finding the common and the different ; this approach is proposed for the analysis of the nomothetic and ideographic method of obtaining knowledge. The nomothetic method identifies and evaluates the general, while the ideographic method searches for unique in parameters and in combinations of parameters. Triadic comparison is used in systems and methods of argumentation, as well as in the analysis of consistency/inconsistency.
