Este artigo desenvolve uma análise comparativa entre os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais de Língua Portuguesa do Ensino Médio e os livros didáticos no que se refere às variantes linguísticas. Apresentamos como resultados da pesquisa análises dos livros didáticos: (1) o livro Língua Portuguesa, linguagem e interação (FARACO, MOURA, MARUXO JR, 2010) e (2) o livro Português Projetos (FARACO e MOURA, 2005). Impaired working memory and normal sustained attention in borderline personality disorder.Objective: Although reports in the literature describe deficits in working memory in borderline personality disorder (BPD), the evidence is limited and inconsistent. The aim of this study was to evaluate further this cognitive dimension and its clinical correlates in BPD.Method: We compared the performance of 15 BPD patients to 1:1 matched healthy controls on verbal working memory as determined by the sequential letter N-back test and sustained attention as measured using the continuous performance test (CPT).Results: BPD patients performed significantly worse on the N-back test compared to healthy controls (p < 0.05), but not on the CPT. The N-back deficit was more pronounced and significant in the 3-back condition and inversely correlated with impulsivity.Conclusions: These results suggest the presence of working memory deficits in BPD that may be linked to greater impulsivity and sustained by impairment in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex.

Çok değil, sadece yüz yıl kadar önce insanlığın gündeminden düşen veba, öncesindeki beş yüz yıl boyunca yarattığı kitlesel ölümlerle dehşet saçan bir baş aktördü. Varlığını denize ve ticarete borçlu olan Venedik Cumhuriyeti, bu yıkıcı düşmanla yüzyıllarca mücadele etmiştir. Vebaya karşı dünyadaki ilk karantina uygulamasının Venedik Cumhuriyeti'nin 1423 yılında kurduğu Lazzaretto Vecchio'da yapıldığı bilinmektedir. Bir süre sonra Venedik örneğinden hareketle tüm Avrupa'da karantina uygulamaları başlayacak ve adını “kırk günlük” bekleme süresinden alan “quarantena” terimi de bu yolla dünya literatürüne girecektir.

In questa tesi ci si è posto l’obiettivo di caratterizzare la modalità di trasporto con cui studenti e lavoratori si recano in Via Terracini e quindi l’accessibilità della sede secondaria della Facoltà di Ingegneria. Il primo passo è stato sottoporre il questionario cartaceo a 130 utenti durante il periodo dell’indagine a destinazione e in seguito aggregare i dati ottenuti da ogni intervista per poter effettuare una analisi di sintesi. Allo stesso modo si sono elaborati i risultati dei 441 questionari online, eseguendo prima un accorpamento dei dati e poi una catalogazione per categoria di utenza. Poiché la maggior parte degli utenti intervistati a destinazione erano studenti, si è potuto confrontare i due tipi di indagine per tale categoria e controllarne l’attendibilità dei risultati. Si è poi proceduto con uno studio delle tendenze delle categorie rimanenti individuando la modalità di trasporto più utilizzata da ognuna di esse.

In base all’evoluzione di pianificazione della città l’area collinare di Bologna è rimasta con una ridotta urbanizzazione con lo scopo di salvaguardare il valore naturale e paesaggistico delle colline. Tale scelta ha portato una bassa densità demografica della zona in questione attraverso una limitazione dell’attività edificatoria; quest’ultimo aspetto ha influenzato il mercato immobiliare nell’area, rendendolo stabile e con prezzi più alti al metro quadrato rispetto alla media all’interno del comune di Bologna. Il caso di studio affrontato ha come obiettivo lo studio di fattibilità economica di un progetto di trasformazione di un fabbricato ex rurale sito nella zona collinare-Saragozza in una immobile a carattere residenziale, attraverso la stima del probabile valore di mercato del progetto caso di studio e la redazione di un business plan. Dalla redazione del business plan è emerso che il VAN per il progetto in caso di compravendita dell’unità immobiliare è di 421.058 €, rispetto a un investimento stimato di 1.101.336 €, essendo il probabile profitto superiore del 10% per il progetto esaminato, tale investimento si può definire sicuro.

In the context of the European iSCAPE project (Improving the Smart Control of Air Pollution in Europe) an experiment was set up in order to test photocatalytic coatings effectiveness in reducing the concentration of pollutants. Further analysis on various aspects of the urban environment have been possible thanks to the experiment. The measurements collected during the experimental field campaign have been used to study the differences in the atmospheric phenomena due to the different morphology of two street canyons. Data in time periods characterized by non-synoptic conditions have been selected and then compared. The first part of the study is dedicated to the characterization of the mean flow. Subsequently, turbulent fluxes have been studied for both canyons with the Eddy Covariance method, in order to appreciate the different behaviour of the two canyons. In the end, the data collected have been elaborated with the Quadrant Analysis. This latest study has made possible to compare the results obtained by the measurements in a real urban canopy layer with the results obtained in a controlled environment and in a vegetated canopy layer. The study has examined the intensity of sweep and ejection effects in an urban canopy layer. The results show that in both canyons sweep effects prevail for the downwind case. Instead, for an upwind flow the dominant effects are those of ejection. For parallel wind directions the two canyons behave differently, due to their different morphology. Furthermore, the intensity of both effects is not as strong as in the perpendicular cases. The behaviour of the fluctuations of CO2 and H2O concentration with respect to the temperature fluctuations has been compared to the results obtained in a vegetated canopy layer. The analysis has shown that in the downwind and parallel cases the trends are in agreement with the ones obtained in the vegetated environment. For an upwind flow, however, the expected trends are not found.

Le città si stanno riappropriando del territorio consumato sfruttando i luoghi già presenti nelle aree urbanizzate, dandogli una nuova vita. La periferia urbana, storicamente caratterizzata dalla prevalenza di residenziale, inizia ad essere riscoperta grazie a nuovi progetti e nuovi collegamenti. L’area presa in esame, il settore Bertalia – Lazzaretto, è fresca del passaggio e della fermata del Marconi Express, e della presenza di uno sviluppo urbanistico strategico che porterà nell’area una nuova sede dell’Università di Bologna. Considerando la linea ferroviaria della tratta Imola – Ferrara e la volontà da parte del comune di insediare la fermata Zanardi, si intuisce quanto questa zona possa essere strategica. Il progetto di tesi mira a riadattare il PUA nell’Ambito di Trasformazione dell’Area Bertalia-Lazzaretto e caratterizzare quello che oggi è il bordo facendolo diventare porta di ingresso e punto strategico della nostra città. Le strategie progettuali sono: 1. Connettivo - riorganizzando e implementando le infrastrutture del Marconi Express e la Fermata Metropolitana Zanardi attraverso la crezione di una pista ciclabile. Un sistema di connessioni che presenta nodi di scambio a servizio di spostamenti all’interno del territorio cittadino e non solo; 2. Paesaggistico - andando a consolidare il sistema naturale presente all’interno del territorio attraverso il recupero degli alberi che verranno sradicati dal lotto a sud del people mover e ripiantumandoli a ridosso dell’angolo del confine dell’intervento. Inoltre, è previsto il riassestamento dell’antico sistema delle campagne emiliane ancora individuabili in loco dalla presenza di due filari d’alberi che riportano alla luce il sistema a cardi e decumani della suddivisione territoriale romana; 3. Architettonico – andando a progettare elementi leggeri ad uso pubblico che implementeranno il PUA e restituiranno questi spazi alla comunità che si insedierà all’interno del nuovo intervento urbano.

Questo mio lavoro di ricerca si propone di ripercorrere la storia dell'Ufficio di Sanità della Repubblica di Venezia, da essa istituito sul finire del XV secolo, per rispondere alle sempre più evidenti pericoli alla salute cittadina. Partendo dalla storia della magistratura sanitaria della Repubblica la ricerca si inserisce nel più ampio ploblema della minaccia alla salute che per secoli impegnò la Repubblica di Venezia e tutto il mondo mediterraneo ed europeo: il flagello della peste. Vengono quindi prese in esame le prevenzioni e i rimedi adottati dalle autorità veneziane (e non solo) competenti in materia di sanità, tra cui la creazione, gestione e organizzazione dei lazzaretti: veri baluardi nella difesa della salute pubblica durante le diverse epidemie che colpirono Venezia e i domini della Repubblica. "Lazzaretto" che da "invenzione" veneziana diventerà progressivamente un' esigenza anche per altre città soprattutto portuali degli stati esteri. Ad esso si associò, nell' ambito della fede il culto dei santi protettori Sebastiano e Rocco, validi alleati nella sensibilizzazione delle masse alla necessità di adeguarsi alle contumace e quarantene imposte presso tali strutture in caso di necessità. Dopo tale analisi e considerazione data a tali dati storici, l'elaborato pone la sua attenzione sulla pestilenze e i relativi problemi demografici,politici e commerciali che colpirono l'Europa e il "mondo mediterraneo" durante il XVIII secolo, generando paura e costringendo ad attenti e talvolta drastici rimedi. In questo periodo Venezia ricopre un ruolo di grande importanza, dovuta a diversi fattori. Essa fu particolarmente attiva nell'informazione sulle epidemie scoppiate nella "casa-madre della peste", l'Impero Ottomano, e sui rimedi da adottare contro la malattia. La Repubblica sarà durante il secolo preoccupata in larga parte per la salute delle popolazioni del suo Stato da Mar. La minaccia sanitaria che si presenterà dinanzi alla città lagunare nell'anno 1793, e la sua efficenza nel contenere ed arginare la malattia fino alla sua cessazione la renderà, esattamente cinquant'anni dopo la terribile epidemia di Messina, l'indiscussa e più efficace protagonista nella secolare lotta alla peste. Un particolare approfondimento di ricerca è stato da me svolto proprio circa i fatti accaduti sull'isola di Poveglia nel 1793. Anno in cui venne allestito in stato di grave emergenza un lazzaretto provvisorio perfettamente organizzato e custodito: grazie a cui la malattia venne limitata entro l'isola ed estinta. Il successo del Magistrato alla Sanità negli accadimenti di Poveglia costituì senza dubbio il "punto d'arrivo" nell'operato dell'Ufficio veneziano: esso giunto alla sua piena maturazione ed istruito dalla propria storia nella lotta ai mali epidemici, preservò la città dalla malattia e ottenne con tale gesto grande riconoscimento ed ammirazione dalle autorità veneziane ed estere. Una grande impresa compiuta a pochi anni dal tramonto della Repubblica e con essa, dopo più di tre secoli di operato, del Magistrato di Sanità.

AbstractThis contribution stems from a reflection developed in a field that lies between interior architecture and psychology and will touch on the relationship between memory on the one hand and perception, sensory experience, creativity, and the relationship between people and inhabited spaces on the other. Special attention will be devoted to the role of design in urban regeneration and its dialogue with the historic city. Lazzaretto Nuovo in Venice will be presented as a case study on which rearrangement concepts will be proposed, in the perspective of its possible reinterpretation through interior and spatial design.

In the context of maritime transport, defensive measures of preventive isolation and disinfection of goods were fully developed in Venice only in the mid-sixteenth century. The institution of the lazzaretto, established a century earlier as a plague hospital, gained new, commercial functions developed further in the lazzaretti in Venice’s overseas border territories in Dalmatia and the Ionian islands. The chapter focuses on the evolution of the lazaretto from its original purpose as a plague hospital into a complex architectural site for managing the movement of people and goods between Ottoman territories and Western Europe.

Abstract Various exergoeconomic approaches have been developed in the last 20 years. These approaches include the ones by Frangopoulos, Lazzaretto, Tsatsaronis, Valero, von Spakovsky and their co-workers. The paper discusses exergoeconomic approaches based on specific costs (SPECO), thermoeconomic functional analysis (TFA) and engineering functional analysis (EFA). Simple examples are used to demonstrate the differences among these approaches.

Thermoeconomic diagnostic approaches have proved to be effective in quantifying additional exergy consumption and costs, whereas they demonstrated to be less appropriate in the search of malfunction causes. With the intent of overcoming this limitation the Characteristic Curve Method was suggested by Toffolo and Lazzaretto, which is based on the idea that every malfunction leaves an undeletable trace in the system: the modification of the component characteristic curve. An exergetic index was found to be very suitable to highlight this trace, and demonstrated consequently to be very effective in identifying the causes of malfunctions. In this paper the method is applied to an existing cogeneration plant, that is simulated using a commercially available code. Simulation errors due to the iterative criterion used by the simulator to find convergence are considered in the analysis, and the reliability of the method under these conditions checked. The example of application is used to show all the calculation steps to be performed, and the way of reading the results in order to properly detect causes of malfunctions. This helps avoid misleading conclusions and demonstrates the practical and easy application of the method when commercial simulator codes are used.
