Résumé :
Abstract The Lakone application is an android-based attendance application as an innovation of the Magelang City Personnel, Education and Training Agency which functions as an employee presence tool and a database for employees in Magelang City, as a basis for calculating additional employee income based on the Ministry of Home Affairs Number 900-4700 of 2020 concerning Procedures Approval of the Minister of Home Affairs on Additional Income of State Civil Apparatus Employees in the Local Government Environment. The Covid 19 pandemic requires local governments to innovate from finger print attendance, to Android-based attendance which can be downloaded via the play store. However, after the implementation of attendance through the Lakone application, there are still employees who are late and do not even fill in their attendance in an orderly manner. The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of the Lakone application is related to the level of employee discipline in the Personnel, Education and Training Agency of Magelang City. This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive method with an inductive approach. The technique for collecting data is by using observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the Lakone application at the Magelang City Personnel, Education and Training Agency had gone well as well as employee discipline had also increased, this can be seen from the results of the monthly attendance recapitulation. However, in its implementation there are still some obstacles, namely servers that often experience errors so that employees cannot do attendance, related to employee discipline there are still employees who cheat by taking advantage of the weaknesses of the Lakone application to carry out activities that benefit themselves.
This dissertation is a comparative study of the relationship between the sanctuaries and cults of Artemis in Lakonian and Messenia, after the liberation of Messenia from Lakonia (370 BCE). Four hypotheses are explored in order to answer the central question of whether the sanctuaries and cults of Artemis in Messenia after the liberation were mimeses of those in Lakonia: essential religious similarity from the fourth century onwards, post-liberation Messenian revival of pre-conquest religious practices, conscious Messenian determination of religious difference from Lakonia and independent evolution of Messenian sanctuaries and cults of Artemis. From literary, archaeological, epigraphic and numismatic evidence as well as observations made during personal visits to sites and museums in Greece, relevant data on the physical and historical landscape, This dissertation is a comparative study of the relationship between the sanctuaries and cults of Artemis in Lakonia and Messenia, after the liberation of Messenia from Lakonia (370 BCE). From literary, archaeological, epigraphic and numismatic evidence as well as observations made during personal visits to sites and museums in Greece, relevant data on the physical and historical landscape, epicleseis, sanctuary components, relevant myths and cult practices of all Artemisia in the southern Peloponnese are assembled into two comprehensive catalogues, one for each polity. A synthesis and analysis of that data is then conducted to establish patterns for purposes of comparison. The emergent patterns demonstrate that sanctuaries and cults of Artemis in post-liberation Messene are not essentially Lakonian mimeses. This study advances our collective understanding of sanctuaries and cults of Artemis in Lakonia and Messenia. It points to unknowns which could provide fertile avenues for future research into the complexity and diversity of ancient Greek religion in the Peloponnese.

This thesis explores those processes which led to the creation and definition of social groups among the inhabitants of what was later to become the territory of Classical Lakonia. Its chronological focus is the early period of Spartan state formation (ca. 1200-600 BC, and especially the latter part of this period from 800-600 BC), and emphasis is placed on cult and ritual practice, especially the material record of sanctuaries. Emphasis on the sanctuary record reflects the fact that the extant evidence in the case of Lakonia comes almost exclusively from sanctuaries where one would expect people to make statements about themselves and their community[ies]. The aim is to define the theoretical framework built around the formation and function of the Spartan state in its early stages- a framework delimited by existing theoretical discussions of the different social groups within Lakonia. The relationship between this framework and the way/s in which the extant archaeological evidence has been a assessed to date will then be assessed critically. Both the framework and the material evidence are examined in their own terms. Rather than using established historical notions to interpret the existing literary and archaeological evidence, these notion are themselves tested against the existing data, both literary and archaeological.

Kourampas, Nikolaos. « Plio-Quaternary sedimentation and geomorphology within an active fore-arc : Messenia and Eastern Lakonia Peninsulae, Southern Peloponnese, Greece ». Thesis, University of Edinburgh, 2001. http://hdl.handle.net/1842/11831.

Texte intégral
Résumé :
This work focuses on the sedimentation and geomorphology of the Messenia and Eastern Lakonia Peninsulae (S Peloponnese, Greece) during the Pliocene-Quaternary (last ca. 5 Ma). Shallow-marine and subaerial sediments and landforms are described and interpreted in terms of tectonic and sea level controls. The S Peloponnese underwent regional uplift since the Middle Miocene. Normal faulting, in directions parallel and transverse to the Aegean Arc led to the formation of horsts and grabens on scales varying from <1 to >20 km. Sea level cyclicity resulted in deposition of shallow-marine to subaerial sequences separated by unconformities. Changing climatic conditions since the Middle-Late Miocene influenced subaerial erosion and sedimentation and also the facies/fauna of marine and marginal marine deposits. Pliocene-Quatemary landforms and sediments in the two areas studied reflect the interplay between the above controls. In both the Ntessenia and Eastern Lakonia Pensinsulae Late Tertiary surfaces of subaerial erosion and Quaternary marine sediments and terraces are present at progressively lower altitudes with decreasing age as a result of uplift and forced regression. Maximum numbers of terraces are present in fault-bounded areas of maximum Quaternary uplift, in the NW parts of each peninsula, where uplift rate since the early Pleistocene (last ca. l Ma) was 0.08-0.35 m/ka. Pliocene (only in the Messenia Peninsula) and Quaternary shallow-marine sediments (in both peninsulae) are subdivided into informal units, correlated with 3rd or higher-order sea level cycles. The Pleistocene part of the stratigraphy, present in both peninsulae, is resolved into two 3rd order sequences, of early and middle-late Pleistocene age, respectively. The middle-late Pleistocene sequence is further divided into Eutyrrhenian and Neotyrrhenian units, correlated with higher order late Pleistocene sea level cycles.

Résumé :
This thesis uses ethnographic research and interrogation of a number of discourses and tropes to examine the street-side performances of a group of young male kampung-dwellers in a part of urban Yogyakarta I call Kusuman. These young men, who refer to their group as the cah-cah (lads) are located between the socially defined roles of uncircumcised children and married heads of households, and have an ambiguous status in their communities. Among other lads in the same liminal phase they act out a series of personas in an attempt to construct meaningful identities. Their performances are re-iterations or re-interpretations of tropes to which they are exposed. The Javaneseness of wayang, elaborate politeness codes and stratified language, the Indonesianness of Pancasila, mutual help and military parades, and a Javanised mystical version of Islam form a background to their knowledge of self and society. These idioms also offer scope for playing out resistant readings, through reversal and caricature, as do the mystical martial-arts comics they devour and the trickster heroes of their folk mythology. Tourism is a major cultural and economic influence on Kusuman, and their repertoire of tropes is expanded by the performances of the "wild guides", English-speaking opportunists who seek sex, money and to "change their thinking with a western woman" among the many tourists passing through Kusuman.
