Résumé :

In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde die Beeinflussung der Wechselwirkungen zwischen Oberflächenwasser, Interstitial und Grundwasser durch eutrophierungsbedingte Kolmationszyklen in einem anthropogen belasteten Fließgewässer (Lahn, Hessen) untersucht. Dabei wurden Mesokosmosexperimente und Freilanduntersuchungen an einer hyporhithralen Pool-Riffle-Sequenz miteinander kombiniert und die Ergebnisse vergleichend interpretiert. Im Rahmen der Arbeit wurde ein experimenteller Versuchsstand aufgebaut, der aus einer kontinuierlich durchströmten Sedimentsäule bestand und in einem mobilen Laborcontainer an der Lahn installiert war. Mit Hilfe dieses mesoskaliges Sedimentkörperexperimentes wurden jahreszeitliche Verlaufsmuster der inneren Kolmation analysiert, parametrisiert und mit physikalischen (Schwebstoffdynamik) und biologischen Kolmationskomponenten in Beziehung gesetzt. Besonderer Fokus lag dabei auf der Entwicklung des Periphytons, das in eutrophierten Fliessgewässern verstärkender Faktor der Kolmation werden kann. Ferner ließ sich mit dem aufgebauten Sedimentkörperexperiment der Einfluss von Kolmation auf Stoffumsetzungsprozesse (O2) im Interstitial modellhaft erfassen. In einem zweiten mesoskaligen Versuchsstand wurde die Bedeutung der hyporheischen Meiofauna für biogene Dekolmationsvorgänge (Fraß und Bioturbation) untersucht.

Résumé :

L’engagement littéraire et la création romanesque résonnent comme la ligne de conduite idéologique des romans de Samar Yazbek. Au travers d’un corpus composé de trois romans de l’autrice : Ṭiflat al-samāʾ (La fille du ciel, 2002), Ṣalṣāl (Argile, 2005) et Lahā marāyā (Dans ses miroirs, 2010), il appert que l’une des problématiques essentielles de Samar Yazbek concerne la question des conséquences des traditions culturelles, religieuses et socio-politiques sur la société et les individus. Ses œuvres posent la question de savoir dans quelle mesure la volonté de conserver les traditions ou de se libérer de toutes les règles peut compromettre le système social et, au-delà, celle de savoir si toute libération implique nécessairement une rupture culturelle et religieuse. C’est la raison pour laquelle, dans notre thèse, nous interrogerons le corpus afin de déterminer la position yazbékienne sur le processus d’émancipation sociale et politique des Syriens ainsi que leur perception de la notion d’héritage culturel, religieux et politique. Pour ce faire, nous abordons l’œuvre yazbékienne à travers une perspective sociocritique - revisitée à travers la pensée complexe d’Edgar Morin - soutenue et renforcée par la transtextualité, la narratologie et la sémiotique de la littérature. Notre objectif sera de faire la lumière sur les processus de perpétuation ou de rupture de la tradition chez les Syriens de l’extrême-contemporain, en articulant notre double interrogation autour des notions de liberté, de modernité, de lutte politique et de résistance à l’oppression sociale
The literary commitment resonates as the ideological guideline in Samar Yazbek’s novel. It appears through the study of her three novels: Ṭiflat al-samāʾ (Girl of heaven, 2002), Ṣalṣāl (Clay, 2005) and Lahā marāyā (In her mirrors, 2010), that one of the author’s essential issue deals with the question of the consequences of cultural, religious and socio-political traditions on society and individuals. Her work raises the question: what extent the will to preserve traditions or free from all the rules can compromise the social system and, beyond that, whether any liberation necessarily imply a cultural and religious breaking? This is why, in our thesis, we will examine this corpus to determine the Yazbekian position on the process of social and political emancipation of Syrians as well as their perception of the notion of cultural, religious and political heritage. In order to do this, we will study Samar Yazbek’s novels through a sociocritical perspective - revisited throughout the complex thought of Edgar Morin - supported by the transtextuality, the narratology and the semiotic method. Thus, our goal will be to shed light on the processes of perpetuation or rupture of tradition among the Syrians of the “contemporary extreme”, articulating our double interrogation around the notions of freedom, modernity, political struggle and resistance to social oppression

Cette étude de la réception de Vatican II dans l'église catholique allemande cherche à éclairer comment, dans le cadre chronologique du pontificat de Paul VI, l'axe ecclésiologique de Vatican II, les constitutions lumen gentium et gaudium et spes, a été reçu dans l'église catholique d’Allemagne. A partir d'une analyse de la contribution particulière de l'épiscopat allemand à la constitution du corpus conciliaire, le travail suit la spécificité allemande dans la "traduction" des concepts ecclésiologiques majeurs du concile, et cela dans une situation historique caractérisée par un bouleversement social important. La question de la participation laïque à la mission de l'église, message central de Vatican II, se trouve ainsi au centre de la réception allemande. A travers l'analyse des conseils de coresponsabilité mis en place après 1965 en RFA, la thèse centrale d'une réception univoque de lumen gentium au détriment de gaudium et spes est développée. La "vérification locale" de la question dans le diocèse de Limbourg apporte une précision supplémentaire à ce constat. L'ensemble de l'étude constitue l'histoire de l'église catholique allemande de 1963 à 1978, conçue sous l'angle particulier de la réception de Vatican II comme évènement normatif fondamental dans l'église catholique de la deuxième moitié du XXe siècle
The present study of the reception of Vatican II council in the German catholic church aims to analyze, in the chronological frame of the pontificate of Paul VIth, how the ecclesiological project of Vatican II - the constitutions lumen gentium and gaudium et spes, have been received in the German catholic church. Beginning with an analysis of the peculiar contribution of the German bishops to the constitution of the council’s texts the thesis makes clear the specific German "translation" of the main ecclesiological concepts of Vatican II in an historical situation of important social changes. The question of the laymen's participation in the church's mission as one of the major messages of Vatican II is therefore in the center of the German reception. By means of an analysis of the councils of shared responsibility established after 1965 in Germany, the main thesis of a privileged reception of lumen gentium, putting gaudium et spes on the second rank, is developed. The "local prove" of this question in the diocese of Limburg brings an extra precision to this statement. The whole study is in fact the history of the German Catholic Church from 1963 to 1978, regarded from the particular point of view of the reception of Vatican II as the fundamental event in the Catholic Church in the second half of the twentieth century

In the South African context adolescents need to cope with societal and family-related stressors seen as everyday stressors, such as parental divorce, violence in communities, bereavement and pressure in schools. Research has shown that these everyday stressors could have negative effects on their well-being. It was further seen that such a high exposure to everyday stress like school-based stressors leads to an increase in unhealthy behaviour, such as smoking and alcohol use in early adolescents. It is for this reason that resilience in adolescence is such an important factor. With all the challenges and everyday stress experienced by early adolescents, the wellness and resiliency perspective adds a positive angle to adolescent functioning. Constructively coping with everyday stress can therefore lead towards well-being. The purpose of this study was to explore how early adolescents cope with everyday stress. A qualitative research method was used with an embedded case study research design. A voluntary sample was drawn, consisting of 15 South African early adolescents from two schools in Gauteng (ages 12 to 15 years; boys and girls). Data on the subjective experience of coping strategies with everyday stress was gathered through individual semi-structured interviews (ten participants) and drawings to aid the verbalisation of their coping strategies. A focus group discussion with a different set of five participants added to the richness of data and to crystallisation, as they discussed themes which emerged from the individual interviews. Data were analysed thematically and visually. The results indicated that early adolescents experienced different types of everyday stress which accordingly needed a variety of coping strategies. Participants coped using intrapersonal resources (existential belief, creative activities, cognitive coping), interpersonal strengths (family, friends, social media) and behaviour-focussed coping (physical activity, fine motor behaviour). These coping strategies linked with the six modalities outlined in Lahad’s BASIC Ph resiliency model, namely beliefs, affect, social interaction, imagery, cognition and physical activity. Of special interest was the clear indication of the role of social media as part of their coping strategies.
