Abstract Many East Asian languages have possessive passives, whose subjects are interpreted as the possessor of the direct object. This paper investigates Japanese Possessive Passives (JPPs) and proposes that there are two types of possessive passives in Japanese: one with a ‘by-phrase’ headed by ni (ni JPPs) and the other with a ‘by-phrase’ headed by ni yotte (ni yotte JPPs). While previous studies assumed that JPPs are a sub-type of indirect passive, I propose that such an analysis is untenable. Instead, JPPs exhibit the same dichotomy as ni-passives and ni yotte-passives exhibit (Kuroda 1979, Kitagawa & Kuroda 1992): While subjects of ni JPPs are base-generated like ni-passives, subjects of ni yotte JPPs undergo NP movement like ni yotte-passives.

J paramyxovirus (JPV) was first isolated from moribund mice with hemorrhagic lung lesions in Australia in the 1970s. Recent sequencing of JPV (JPV-LW) confirms that JPV is a paramyxovirus with several unique features. However, neither JPV-LW nor a recombinant JPV based on its sequence (rJPV-LW) caused obvious illness in mice. In this work, we analyzed a different JPV isolate (JPV-BH), which behaved differently from JPV-LW; JPV-BH grew more slowly in Vero cells and had less of a cytopathic effect on tissue culture cells but caused severe disease in mice. We have determined the whole genome sequence of JPV-BH. There were several nucleotide sequence differences between JPV-BH and JPV-LW, one in the leader sequence, one in the GX gene, and three in the L gene. The high sequence identity between JPV-BH and JPV-LW suggests that JPV-BH and JPV-LW are the same virus strain but were obtained at different passages from different laboratories. To understand the roles of these nucleotide sequence differences in pathogenicity in mice, we generated a recombinant JPV-BH strain (rJPV-BH) and hybrid rJPV-BH strains with sequences from the leader sequence (rJPV-BH-Le-LW), the GX gene (rJPV-BH-GX-LW), and the L gene (rJPV-BH-L-LW) of JPV-LW and compared their pathogenicities in mice. We have found that rJPV-BH-L-LW was attenuated in mice, indicating that nucleotide sequence differences in the L gene play a critical role in pathogenesis.

Serratia marcescensstrain JPP1 was isolated from peanut hulls in Huai'an city, Jiangsu Province, China. Its potential to inhibit the mycelial growth ofAspergillus parasiticusand the subsequent aflatoxin production was evaluated. The strain JPP1 could produce chitinase to degrade fungal cell walls, which was the main mechanism of strain JPP1 for biocontrol. Scanning electron microscopy of fungi treated with the crude chitinase revealed abnormal morphological changes. While the strain was grown in the peanut hulls-based medium, the chitinase activity reached 7.39 units. RT-PCR analysis showed that the crude chitinase repressed the transcription of genes involved in the aflatoxin gene cluster, such as aflR, aflC (pksL1), and aflO (dmtA) genes. By visual agar plate assay and tip culture method, the strain JPP1 exhibited remarkable inhibitory effect on mycelia growth (antifungal ratio >95%) and subsequent aflatoxin production (antiaflatoxigenic ratio >98%). Anin vitroassay with seed coating agent of bacterial suspension showed that strain JPP1 effectively reduced fungal growth and subsequent aflatoxin production on peanut seeds, and its antagonistic effect was superior to the common agricultural fungicide of carbendazim. These characteristics suggest thatS. marcescensJPP1 strain could potentially be utilized for the biological control of phytopathogenic fungi and aflatoxin in Chinese peanut main producing areas.

J paramyxovirus (JPV) is a rodent-borne Jeilongvirus isolated from moribund mice (Mus musculus) with hemorrhagic lung lesions trapped in the 1972 in northern Queensland, Australia. The JPV antibodies have been detected in wild mice, wild rats, pigs, and human populations in Australia. Here, by next-generation sequencing (NGS), we detected JPV from M. musculus in Shandong Province of China. Molecular detection of JPV was performed to survey to survey the infection among 66 species of wild small mammals collected from six eco-climate regions in China by applying JPV specific RT-PCR and sequencing. Altogether, 21 out of 3070 (0.68%) wild small mammals of four species were positive for JPV, including 5.26% (1/19) of Microtus fortis, 3.76% (17/452) of M. musculus, 1.67% (1/60) of Apodemus peninsulae, and 0.48% (2/421) of Apodemus agrarius, which captured three eco-climate regions of China (northeastern China, northern China, and Inner Mongolia-Xinjiang). Sequence analysis revealed the currently identified JPV was clustered with other 14 Jeilongvirus members, and shared 80.2% and 89.2% identity with Australia’s JPV partial RNA polymerase (L) and glycoprotein (G) genes, respectively. Phylogenetic analysis demonstrated the separation of three lineages of the current JPV sequences. Our results show three new hosts (A. agrarius, A. peninsulae, and M. fortis) for JPV, most of which were widely distributed in China, and highlight the potential zoonotic transmission of JPV in humans. The detection of JPV in wild small mammals in China broaden the viral diversity, geographical distribution, and reservoir types of JPV. Future studies should prioritize determining the epidemiological characteristics of JPV, so that potential risks can be mitigated.

Jaboticaba peel powder (JPP) is rich in bioactive compounds, mainly soluble and insoluble polyphenols with great antioxidant properties. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of JPP supplementation on the oxidative stress and hepatic damage in a rat model of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Diabetic rats received vehicle or JPP at 2.7 (JPP-I), 5.4 (JPP-II), or 10.8 (JPP-III) g/L in drinking water during 8 weeks. JPP-III attenuated hyperglycaemia and dyslipidemia increased by 86% the liver content of nonprotein thiol groups and by 90% the GSH/GSSG ratio by activating glutathione synthesis. Accordingly, JPP supplementation prevented the loss of activity of the sulfhydryl-dependent enzymeδ-aminolaevulinic acid dehydratase and attenuated hepatic injury assessed by the reduction of serum aspartate aminotransferase activity and liver hypertrophy. Our results support that JPP supplementation to T2DM rats decreases hepatic damage most likely by increasing glutathione synthesis and modulating the thiol/disulfide redox balance.

The teak breeding program has long been conducted by Perum Perhutani and produced superior teak and was named Teak Plus of Perhutani - Jati Plus Perhutani (JPP). With good silviculture practices, JPP-teak of 9 year-old can produce no less than 100 m³/ha, with ± 60 cm of tree circumstance. The high demand for teak wood is an opportunity to develop JPP-teak with fast growing character. Research shows that the quality of JPP wood of 5 and 10 years of age can be classified into Strength Class III. Although the quality of JPP-teak is not equal as the teak gets older, it can be improved through several methods, such as densification, thermal modification, etc. Durability of fast growing JPP-teak can be enhanced by additional treatment with natural or chemical material preservation. Wood color modification can be done through heat treatment method. The color change of JPP-teak of 5 years of age that looked more brownies with variation in value of color change (ΔE*) of 1.04 to 48.53. Modification technology influenced the properties of teak wood and it is an opportunity of JPP to gain added value as a renewable forest resource product. With teak forest area covering 1.7 million hectares, Perum Perhutani has challenges in developing JPP-teak with more added value.

Jurnal Perpustakaan Pertanian (JPP) merupakan salah satu media komunikasi antarpustakawan dan media penyebaran ilmu pengetahuan bidang perpustakaan, dokumentasi, dan informasi (pusdokinfo). JPP merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang memuat hasil penelitian/pengkajian dan tinjauan tentang perpustakaan serta aktivitas pustakawan dan ilmuwan informasi. Melalui jurnal ini, pustakawan dapat memperoleh informasi yang bermanfaat untuk mendukung aktivitasnya. Pengkajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pustakawan terhadap JPP, yang mencakup (1) isi dengan indikator kesesuaian dan manfaat informasi, (2) perwajahan (tata letak, kualitas cetakan, kualitas gambar dan foto, serta kualitas huruf), dan (3) pengiriman (intensitas dan waktu pengiriman). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan wawancara terhadap 61 pustakawan lingkup Badan Litbang Pertanian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa informasi yang dimuat dalam JPP sesuai dengan kebutuhan pustakawan dan bermanfaat untuk menambah pengetahuan, sebagai acuan dalam menyusun tulisan, sebagai referensi dalam melaksanakan kegiatan, dan menambah ide dalam melaksanakan kajian. Sebagian besar responden menyatakan setuju terhadap kelanjutan penerbitan JPP. Tampilan JPP dinilai baik, yang meliputi tata letak, kualitas foto dan gambar, huruf yang digunakan, serta kualitas cetakan. Sementara itu, distribusi atau pengiriman JPP masih perlu mendapat perhatian karena intensitas pengirimannya belum sesuai dan belum tepat waktu. Pelayanan dewan redaksi JPP dinilai sudah baik, terutama dalam proses evaluasi naskah, perbaikan naskah, penyuntingan naskah, dan pemberian saran perbaikan, serta komunikasi redaksi dengan penulis.

Paramyxoviruses include many important animal and human pathogens. Most paramyxoviruses have two integral membrane proteins: fusion protein (F) and attachment proteins hemagglutinin, hemagglutinin–neuraminidase, or glycoprotein (G), which are critical for viral entry into cells. J paramyxovirus (JPV) encodes four integral membrane proteins: F, G, SH, and transmembrane (TM). The function of TM is not known. In this work, we have generated a viable JPV lacking TM (JPV∆TM). JPV∆TM formed opaque plaques compared with JPV. Quantitative syncytia assays showed that JPV∆TM was defective in promoting cell-to-cell fusion (i.e., syncytia formation) compared with JPV. Furthermore, cells separately expressing F, G, TM, or F plus G did not form syncytia whereas cells expressing F plus TM formed some syncytia. However, syncytia formation was much greater with coexpression of F, G, and TM. Biochemical analysis indicates that F, G, and TM interact with each other. A small hydrophobic region in the TM ectodomain from amino acid residues 118 to 132, the hydrophobic loop (HL), was important for syncytial promotion, suggesting that the TM HL region plays a critical role in cell-to-cell fusion.

Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI) terus berupaya meningkatkan kualitas jurnal ilmiah antara lain melalui penilaian akreditasi. Salah satu persyaratan akreditasi jurnal ilmiah adalah penggunaan sumber acuan primer yang relevan dan baru. Pengkajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) keterpakaian Jurnal Penelitian Pertanian (JPP) Tanaman Pangan sebagai rujukan KTI yang terbit dalam jurnal ilmiah primer terakreditasi lingkup Badan Litbang Pertanian, dan (2) relevansi topik rujukan dengan topik KTI tersebut. Pengkajian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei - Juni 2015 di Perpustakaan Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Tanaman Pangan, Bogor. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan JPP Tanaman Pangan digunakan sebagai rujukan oleh peneliti dalam KTI yang dipublikasikan. Masing-masing satu KTI yang terbit pada Indonesian Journal of Agricultural Science, Jurnal Penelitian Pascapanen Pertanian, dan Jurnal Pengkajian dan Pengembangan Teknologi Pertanian menggunakan JPP Tanaman Pangan sebagai rujukan. Pada Buletin Plasma Nutfah, penggunaan JPP Tanaman Pangan sebagai rujukan KTI relatif intens, yakni empat rujukan dari tiga KTI. Pada JPP Tanaman Pangan sendiri, pemakaian JPP Tanaman Pangan sebagai rujukan KTI lebih banyak, yaitu lima rujukan dari empat KTI. Secara umum, KTI yang diterbitkan pada beberapa jurnal ilmiah primer lingkup Badan Litbang Pertanian sudah merujuk literatur yang relevan. JPP Tanaman Pangan adalah salah satu sumber rujukan yang relevan bagi KTI yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal ilmiah terakreditasi yang dikaji.

Pasca keberhasilan penelitian dan pengujian bahan pertanaman yang dihasilkan dari pemuliaan tanaman jenis jati, Perum Perhutani telah menetapkan bahan pertanaman dengan materi genetik unggul yang disebut dengan Jati Plus Perhutani (JPP) digunakan dalam skala operasional menggantikan bahan pertanaman jati yang sudah ada sebelumnya. JPP diharapkan memiliki produktivitas lebih tinggi sehingga pada umur daur yang pendek dapat menghasilkan volume kayu yang sama dengan jati daur panjang yang selama ini menyusun tegakan. Pembangunan tegakan JPP merupakan kegiatan investasi dengan menggunakan sejumlah faktor produksi untuk menghasilkan manfaat di waktu mendatang dan oleh karenanya diperlukan evaluasi finansial untuk mengetahui apakah kegiatan tersebut memberikan harapan keuntungan komersial (commercial profitability). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi proyek pembangunan tegakan JPP dari aspek finansial dengan menggunakan model daur berkelanjutan atau yang dikenal dengan Model Faustmann atau Nilai Harapan Lahan. Panjang daur tegakan jati dianalisis pada umur 20 tahun sebagaimana rancangan JPP sebagai tanaman jati berdaur pendek. Estimasi volume kayu tebangan penjarangan dan tebangan akhir daur menggunakan rekonstruksi model pertumbuhan dan hasil tegakan jati yang dikembangkan oleh Suprijadi (2010) yaitu kemiripan model pertumbuhan JPP dengan model pada tabel tegakan jati WvW Bonita V dan model pertumbuhan jati daur pendek di Costarica yang dikembangkan oleh Perez (2005). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan tegakan jati berdaur pendek dengan menggunakan bahan pertanaman JPP secara finansial layak untuk dilaksanakan. Nilai Harapan Lahan dari sebidang lahan yang ditanami dengan tegakan JPP adalah sebesar Rp 10.162,656/Ha. Analisis kepekaan menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas pembangunan JPP relatif kuat terhadap perubahan yang tidak dikehendaki di masa mendatang seperti penurunan produksi, harga produk dan kenaikan biaya pembangunan tegakan.Katakunci: jati plus Perhutani, daur pendek, keuntungan komersial, daur berkelanjutan, nilai harapan lahan The Estimation of Financial Feasibility of the Development of Superior Teak Stand in The Forest Management Unit of RandublatungAbstractAfter the success of teak plant breeding research, Perum Perhutani had set material plantation with superior genetic called Jati Plus Perhutani (JPP) to be used in operational scale. Combined with intensively silvicultural treatment, JPP was expected and assumed to be high productivity stand so that the in the short rotation could produce the merchantable volume equal to volume of woods from long rotation teak plantation. Stand development was an investment activity by employing a number of factors of production to generate a number of benefits in the future. Therefore the financial evaluation was required to determine whether the investment could provide commercial profitability to its owner. The main objective of this study was to evaluate financial performance of development of short rotation teak stand (JPP) by using continuous rotation model called Faustmann Formula or Land Expected Value. Estimation of harvested merchantable volume from thinning and final clear cutting used growth and yield model reconstruction developed by Suprijadi (2010). The model was based on the assumption of similarity between growth and yield depicted in normal table of teak (WvW Table 1932) in site class V and growth and yield model of short rotation of teak plantation in Costarica developed by Perez (2005). The result of this study showed that plantation of the JPP was financially feasible to be implemented as indicated in the Land Expected Value of Rp 10.162.656/Ha. Sensitivity analysis also showed that the profitability of development of JPP stand relatively robust against unexpected changes in the future such as decreasing in production and price and increasing in costs. At all scenarios in the sensitivity analysis, the development of JPP stand was still feasible.

Jati Plus Perhutani (JPP) sebagai salah satu hasil program pemuliaan pohon memiliki beberapa keunggulan komparatif dibandingkan dengan jenis Jati yang dikembangkan melalui perbanyakan konvensional dengan biji. Keunggulan dalam hal keliling batang dan produktivitas yang tinggi dalam jangka waktu yang relatif singkat akan memberikan biaya pembangunan tegakan yang minimal sehingga harga juga tidak terlalu tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui harga pokok produksi kayu JPP hasil penjarangan melalui pendekatan biaya selama daur dan pendekatan pasar (market value). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan nilai tegakan (Stumpage cost) dan metode Willingness to Pay (WTP) yang terdiri dari survey pelanggan dengan kuisioner dan in depth interview dengan sistematik random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai pembangunan tegakan JPP selama 9 tahun sebesar Rp20.024.309,-/ha, dengan harga pokok penjualan sortimen AI sebesar Rp. 642.538,- dan sortimen AII sebesar Rp. 881.214,-. Sedangkan berdasarkan pendekatan pasar, konsumen menginginkan harga kayu JPP tidak jauh berbeda dengan kayu jati asal hutan rakyat atau penurunan harga sebesar 13% - 22%. Rekomendasi kebijakan yang disarankan terhadap penentuan harga kayu JPP adalah perlu pemisahan dan pembedaan harga jual dasar kayu JPP supaya dapat bersaing dengan harga kayu rakyat dan dapat menjadi salah satu sumber pendapatan perusahaan dalam waktu yang tidak terlalu lama.

Jati Plus Perhutani (JPP) sebagai salah satu hasil program pemuliaan pohon memiliki beberapa keunggulan komparatif dibandingkan dengan jenis Jati yang dikembangkan melalui perbanyakan konvensional dengan biji. Keunggulan dalam hal keliling batang dan produktivitas yang tinggi dalam jangka waktu yang relatif singkat akan memberikan biaya pembangunan tegakan yang minimal sehingga harga juga tidak terlalu tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui harga pokok produksi kayu JPP hasil penjarangan melalui pendekatan biaya selama daur dan pendekatan pasar (market value). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan nilai tegakan (Stumpage cost) dan metode Willingness to Pay (WTP) yang terdiri dari survey pelanggan dengan kuisioner dan in depth interview dengan sistematik random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai pembangunan tegakan JPP selama 9 tahun sebesar Rp20.024.309,-/ha, dengan harga pokok penjualan sortimen AI sebesar Rp. 642.538,- dan sortimen AII sebesar Rp. 881.214,-. Sedangkan berdasarkan pendekatan pasar, konsumen menginginkan harga kayu JPP tidak jauh berbeda dengan kayu jati asal hutan rakyat atau penurunan harga sebesar 13% - 22%. Rekomendasi kebijakan yang disarankan terhadap penentuan harga kayu JPP adalah perlu pemisahan dan pembedaan harga jual dasar kayu JPP supaya dapat bersaing dengan harga kayu rakyat dan dapat menjadi salah satu sumber pendapatan perusahaan dalam waktu yang tidak terlalu lama.

Jaboticaba is a Brazilian native berry described as a rich source of phenolic compounds (PC) with health promoting effects. PC from jaboticaba peel powder (JPP) have low intestinal bio-accessibility and are catabolized by gut microbiota. However, the biological implication of PC-derived metabolites produced during JPP digestion remains unclear. This study aimed to evaluate the antiproliferative effects of colonic fermented JPP (FJPP) in a 3D model of colorectal cancer (CRC) composed by HT29 spheroids. JPP samples fermented with human feces during 0, 2, 8, 24 or 48 h were incubated (10,000 µg mL−1) with spheroids, and cell viability was assessed after 72 h. Chemometric analyses (cluster and principal component analyses) were used to identify the main compounds responsible for the bioactive effect. The antiproliferative effect of FJPP in the CRC 3D model was increased between 8 h and 24 h of incubation, and this effect was associated with HHDP-digalloylglucose isomer and dihydroxyphenyl-γ-valerolactone. At 48 h of fermentation, the antiproliferative effect of FJPP was negligible, indicating that the presence of urolithins did not improve the bioactivity of JPP. These findings provide relevant knowledge on the role of colonic microbiota fermentation to generate active phenolic metabolites from JPP with positive impact on CRC.

In order to meet the requirement to quickly solve the water quality equation for an unexpected water pollution incident, this dissertation, based on the paralleled algorithm under Java Parallel Processing Framework (JPPF), does research about the process to dynamically decomposes the iterative process into calculation tasks and distribute the tasks by the API of JPPF to the paralleled nodes for calculation. And the simulation result of one-dimension water quality equation shows that parallel computing method could reduce the time complexity from to , not only resulting in a significant improvement in calculation speed, but in a higher reliability and stability.

Strateško partnerstvo ili javno-privatno partnerstvo (u daljnjem tekstu: JPP) kao model dugoročne suradnje između javnoga i privatnog sektora sve više dobiva primjenu u današnjem nepredvidivom vremenu zbog brzine i učinkovitosti pripreme te provedbe raznih projekta. U lokalnim i regionalnim aktivnostima gdje se javni sektor suočava s raznom problematikom realizacije tuzemnih i EU projekta, model JPP je primjer kako se privatni sektor svojom brzom i vještom prilagodbom može uključiti u rješavanje nepremostivih izazova odnosno aktivnosti. Cilj ovoga rada je objasniti teorijski značaj modela JPP s posebnim naglaskom na lokalnu i regionalnu samoupravu te je svrha objasniti njegove pozitivne i negativne aspekte. Teorijski okvir rada daje isto tako jasnu definiciju JPP ili strateškog partnerstva te objašnjava njegovu sve veću ulogu i značaj u Hrvatskoj. Kroz rad je prikazan konkretan primjer modela JPP jedne lokalne samouprave i Visokoobrazovne institucije iz Zagreb. Navedeni primjer prikazan je kao model strateške suradnje te kako se može doći do učinkovitije i efikasnije javne usluge kao što je studiranje u jednom gradu. Uloga, važnost i značaj ovakvih i sličnih projekta sve je više izražena upravo u vidu potreba lokalnog stanovništva koji su u konačnici oni koji kreiraju ponudu te zahtijevaju za svoj novac najvišu razinu javnih usluga u svojim lokalnim sredinama.

Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan analisis IFAS diperoleh sebesar 0,85 dan analisis dari EFAS diperoleh sebesar 0,57. Strategi pengembangan bisnis JPP menjadi SBU PT. Petrokimia Gresik berada pada kuadran 1. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang cocok untuk mengembangkan usaha agresif adalah strategi. Artinya strategi yang tepat adalah strategi SO, dengan kekuatan dan peluang yang dimiliki pengembangan bisnis JPP menjadi SBU PT. Petrokimia Gresik akan mendukung strategi agresif.

Nucleotides are essential for the development of the gastrointestinal tract and immune function, but their intake with milk by piglets could be insufficient. The effect of nucleotides on growth and health was tested on 98 piglets divided into two groups: NU, orally administrated with 4 mL of a nucleotide-based product (SwineMOD®) at 10, 15, 18, 21, 27 days, or not (CO). Blood and feces were sampled at weaning (26 d, T1), and at 38 d (T2). Per each group and time-point, eight piglets were slaughtered and jejunal Peyer’s patches (JPPs) were collected. NU increased hemoglobin content and hematocrit, but not growth. At weaning, the NU fecal microbiota was characterized by the abundance of Campylobacteraceae, more typical of the growing phase, compared to CO, with a greater abundance of Streptococcaceae. For the blood transcriptome, an initial greater inflammatory activation was seen in CO, while at T2, NU enriched gene sets related to erythropoiesis. The activation of gene groups ranging from epigenetic response to transcriptional regulation evidenced an intense proliferative activity in NU JPPs. NU supplementation did not influence the growth performance of piglets but could have expressed a positive effect on pig microbiota anticipating its maturation at weaning. This immunostimulant activity in the JPPs could moderate the inflammation in the immediate pre-weaning.

Paramyxoviruses are negative-sense, single-stranded RNA viruses that are associated with numerous diseases in humans and animals. J paramyxovirus (JPV) was first isolated from moribund mice (Mus musculus) with hemorrhagic lung lesions in Australia in 1972. In 2016, JPV was classified into the newly established genus Jeilongvirus. Novel jeilongviruses are being discovered worldwide in wildlife populations. However, the effects of jeilongvirus infection on host gene expression remains uncharacterized. To address this, cellular RNA from JPV-infected mouse fibroblasts was collected at 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, 24, and 48 hours post-infection (hpi) and were sequenced using single-end 75 base pairs (SE75) sequencing chemistry on an Illumina NextSeq platform. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between the virus-infected replicates and mock replicates at each timepoint were identified using the Tophat2-Cufflinks-Cuffdiff protocol. At 2 hpi, 11 DEGs were identified in JPV-infected cells, while 1,837 DEGs were detected at 48 hpi. A GO analysis determined that the genes at the earlier timepoints were involved in interferon responses, while there was a shift towards genes that are involved in antigen processing and presentation processes at the later timepoints. At 48 hpi, a KEGG analysis revealed that many of the DEGs detected were involved in pathways that are important for immune responses. qRT-PCR verified that Rtp4, Ifit3, Mx2, and Stat2 were all upregulated during JPV infection, while G0s2 was downregulated. After JPV infection, the expression of inflammatory and antiviral factors in mouse fibroblasts changes significantly. This study provides crucial insight into the different arms of host immunity that mediate Jeilongvirus infection. Understanding the pathogenic mechanisms of Jeilongvirus will lead to better strategies for the prevention and control of potential diseases that may arise from this group of viruses.

Abstract Objective This article provides an historical perspective on the Journal of Pediatric Psychology (JPP) on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. Methods Former and current editors of JPP participated in a symposium at the 2019 Society of Pediatric Psychology Annual Conference (SPPAC), each highlighting prominent types of articles published during their terms, the influence of these papers over time, and their reflections on the next 50 years of the journal. Their presentations were summarized and integrated for this article. Additional data on editorial teams, special issues, and publication metrics over time are included. Results The data demonstrate changes over time in the growth, scope, and impact of JPP. The article also shows the consistency in areas of emphasis over time. Anticipated topics for the future were quite consistent across editors and included increased use of technology, broader attention to teams and approaches, and methodological advances as the field will continue to grow. Conclusions This article provides an unusual collaboration among editors of JPP, providing an historical perspective on the journal’s growth over time and anticipation of continued impact into the future.

Hal ini harus segera diatasi karena kota Semarang menargetkan menjadi Kota Layak Anak pada tahun 2020. Upaya telah dilakukan Pemkot Semarang namun belum berdampak signifikan pada penurunan angka kekerasan pada anak.Indikator Kota Layak Anak tidak hanya daritertanganinya anak korban kekerasan, namun juga bagaimana langkah preventif yang dilakukan. Komunikasi keluarga yang baik dapat menjadi benteng pertahanan awal pencegahan kekerasan pada anak.Hal ini menjadi dasar dilakukannyapengabdian masyarakat berupaworkshop mengenai pengembangan komunikasi keluarga untuk kader JPPA (Jaringan Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak) Kelurahan Sadeng, Semarang.Peranan JPPA (Jaringan Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak) Kelurahan Sadeng sudah menjadi embrio yang baik namun belum maksimal karena mereka hanya bertindak saat ada kasus namun tidak melaksanakan langkah preventif. This must be addressed immediately because the city of Semarang is targeting to became a city worthy of children by 2020. Semarang City Government has made various efforts but it has not yet had a significant impact on reducing the number of violence against children. The indicator of the City Worth Child is not only how children who are victims of violence can be handled properly, but also how to take action to prevent violence against children as a preventive act. Good communication in a family can certainly be a stronghold early in preventing violence against children. This became the basis of community service in the form of workshops related to the development of family communication for JPPA (Women’s and Child Protection Network) Sadeng Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang. The role of JPPA in Sadeng Village has become a good embryo, but it is not optimal, because they only take action when their area cases but do not carry out preventive measures. The method of implementation was carried out by providing material and measuring the participant's understanding of family communication that had been understood and done. Abstract Organized lymphoid tissues are important sites of immune induction where B cells activate and differentiate. High-resolution transcriptomic technology has revolutionized current understandings of B cell activation and differentiation in organized lymphoid tissues such as lymph nodes but has not been used to dissect B cell activation and differentiation in Peyer’s patches, important sites of intestinal immune induction. We utilized single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics to define pseudotemporal and spatial organization, respectively, of B cell activation and differentiation in porcine jejunal and ileal Peyer’s patches (JPPs and IPPs). IPPs had greater follicular mass and more defined follicular borders than JPPs, resulting in greater follicular B cell abundance in IPPs and non-follicular B cell abundance in JPPs. Despite follicular morphology and B cell abundances varying between JPPs and IPPs, pseudotemporal trajectories and predicted spatial locations of B cell activation and differentiation were similar between intestinal locations. Transition of resting into follicular B cells was demarcated by increased expression of follicle- and cell cycle-associated genes and movement of cells from interfollicular zones (IFZs) into follicles. Another trajectory indicated transition of resting B cells located in IFZs directly into antibody-secreting cells located in IFZs and crypts, suggesting a route of extrafollicular B cell activation and differentiation. Altogether, results indicate conserved patterns of both follicular and extrafollicular B cell activation and differentiation in Peyer’s patches across intestinal locations, despite differences in cellular abundances and follicular morphology. Serratia marcescens strain JPP1 was isolated from the peanut hulls in Jiangsu Province, China. The strain exhibited antagonistic activity against aflatoxins production and chitinolytic activity by producing chitinases. For chitinase production glucose was identified as best carbon source, peptone as organic nitrogen source while ammonium sulphate as the best inorganic nitrogen source led to the highest chitinase activity. Chitin served as an essential inducer and chitinase production reached the peak level after 1.2% of chitin concentration. The crude chitinase was highly thermostable and had activity in broad pH (2-11) and temperature (30-90°C) range. Ca and Mn ions enhanced the chitinase production, while Na and K were of inhibitory action not more than 5%, and Cu, Zn and Fe ions resulted in drastic enzyme inhibition ranged between 63.7 to 70.5%. Addition of EDTA, mercaptoethanol and Tween 80 had positive effect on chitinase production while SDS decreased the chitinase production by S. marcescens JPP1.

Teen courts are becoming a popular mechanism whereby to process youngsters charged with relatively minor offenses. There has been limited systematic analysis of teen courts to identify either their successes or failures. This study examines the teen court of Doña Ana County, New Mexico, including its processes and apparent recidivism rates. The 478 participants were randomly selected from the program and traced through the local Juvenile Probation and Parole Office (JPPO) database. Interviews were conducted with a teen court staff member, JPPO staff members, and former teen court participants. A 25% recidivism rate was found between 1994 and 1998, affected by gender, age, the presence of a prior referral, whether the youngster completed the teen court program, with whom the juvenile resided, and the severity of the jury sentence. The study—the first of its kind for this court—was able to identify some of the successes and shortcomings of this county's teen court.

Kekerasan kepada perempuan dan anak sudah pada kondisi yang memprihatinkan. Catatan Tahunan Komnas Perempuan periode 2012 – 2021 (10 tahun) menunjukkan terdapat 49.762 laporan kasus kekerasan seksual. Januari-November 2022 telah menerima 3.014 kasus kekerasan berbasis gender terhadap perempuan, termasuk 860 kasus kekerasan seksual di ranah publik/komunitas dan 899 kasus di ranah personal. Menilik jumlah yang meningkat dari waktu ke waktu, pemerintah menerbitkan Undang-Undang Nomor 12 Tahun 2012 tentang Tindak Pidana Kekerasan Seksual (UU TPKS) yang memuat enam elemen kunci penghapusan kekerasan seksual. Upaya penegakan hukum melalui UUPTKS tidak dapat dilakukan sendiri, kehadiran stakeholder dalam penanganan kasus ini memberi kontribusi bagi pengurangan kekerasan. Kehadiran Jariangan Perlindungan Perempuandan anak (JPPA) menjadi alternatif dalam penanagan kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak. Tujuan pemberdayaan ini adalah untuk menguatkan peran-peran stakeholder yang bergabung dalam JPPA dalam menfasilitrasi penanganan korban. Pemberdayaan ini untuk menjawab permasalahan tentang sejahun mana peran-peran JPPPA dalam pencegahan dan perlindungan perempuan dan anak yang mengalami kasus kekerasan.

Pusat Riset Perikanan mempunyai 4 jurnal terakreditasi nasional bidang perikanan tangkap yang sudah terbit secara online mulai tahun 2016. Untuk mengetahui seberapa bermanfaat laman website masing-masing jurnal ini, maka dibuat statistik pengunjung agar dapat diketahui sejauh mana perkembangan website ini. Data statistik diperoleh dari laman website https://statcounter.comdan diolah menggunakan aplikasi microsoft excell. Dari hasil pengolahan didapatkan data dari tahun 2016-2020. Dari hasil olah data dapat dikatakan bahwa jumlah pengunjung empat laman website jurnal Pusriskan mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dari tahun 2016-2020 kecuali IFRJ mengalami penurunan pada tahun 2019, jumlah pengunjung dari keempat jurnal data terendah terdapat di bulan yang sama yaitu Agustus sedangkan jumlah tertinggi bulan Oktober untuk JPPI, November untuk Bawal dan JKPI serta di bulan April untuk IFRJ. Pengunjung 3 jurnal yaitu JPPI, JKPI dan Bawal masih didominasi dari Indonesia dengan persentase lebih dari 98%, sedangkan jurnal IFRJ yang merupakan jurnal berbahasa Inggris dengan persentase 60.40% dari Indonesiadan 39.60% dari luar Indonesia. Untuk asal kota pengunjung didapatkan hasil kota Jakarta terbanyak dengan persentase 23.40% untuk wilayah Indonesia dan Singapura dan Aracaju, Sergipe-Brasil dengan 5% untuk wilayah luar Indonesia. Dapat dilihat juga bahwa jumlah negara yang mengakses laman website IFRJ adalah sebanyak 25 negara.Research Center for Fisheries has 4 nationally accredited journals in the field of capture fisheries which have been published online starting in 2016. To find out how useful the website pages of each journal are, visitor statistics are made so that it can be seen how far the development of this website is. Statistical data was obtained from the website https://statcounter.com and processedusing the Microsoft Excel application. The processing results obtained data from 2016-2020. From the results of data processing, it can be said that the number of visitors of the Pusriskan journal website experienced a significant increase from 2016-2020 except for IFRJ which decreased in 2019, the number of visitors from the four journals, the lowest data was in the same month namely August, while the highest number was in October for JPPI, November for Bawal and JKPI and in April for IFRJ. Visitors to 3 journals JPPI, JKPI and Bawal are still dominated by Indonesia with a percentage of more than 98%, IFRJ journal which is an English language journal with a percentage of 60.40% from Indonesia and 39.60% from outside Indonesia. For the city of origin of visitors, the result was Jakarta with the highest percentage of 23.40% for the territory of Indonesia and Singapore and Aracaju, Sergipe-Brazil with 5% for areas outside Indonesia. It can also be seen that the number of countries accessing the IFRJ website is 25 countries.

The quality of the interaction between mothers and their children with an Intellectual Disability (ID) plays a crucial role in their development and in particular during adolescence. This qualitative study was designed to provide a better understanding of aspects of the relationships between mothers and their adolescents with ID through an art-based tool, the Joint Painting Procedure. The qualitative analysis of six dyads of mothers and adolescents with severe, moderate and mild ID was based on the principles of narrative and phenomenological inquiry. The findings yielded three key themes that emerged from the relational dynamics during the JPP: (1) from dependency to autonomy, (2) the joint painting as a way to foster verbal communication, and (3) playfulness and enjoyment. The JPP appeared to serve as a meaningful art-based assessment of the implicit and explicit aspects of the relationships which evolved during the interaction. The findings underscore the potential of the JPP as a non-verbal, art-based tool that allows researchers and clinicians to learn more about the dynamics of relationships between mothers and their adolescents with ID. It also enables a context where the expression of relational issues can be communicated and even transformed.

Pemanfaatan kayu jati dari pohon umur muda meningkat disebabkan adanya kesenjangan permintaan dengan ketersediaan kayu. Perhutani menanam pohon Jati Plus Perhutani (JPP) dengan karakteristik cepat tumbuh untuk meningkatkan produksi kayu jati. Pembiakan secara vegetatif ini diduga bisa berpengaruh terhadap sifat-sifat kayu. Kadar ekstraktif menjadi penting mengingat hubungannya dengan keawetan alami kayu dan sifat warna kayu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variasi kadar ekstraktif dan warna pada arah radial dan longitudinal kayu JPP. Sampel kayu diambil dari tiga pohon JPP berumur 11 tahun di KPH Ngawi. Faktor yang diamati terdiri dari arah longitudinal (pangkal, tengah, ujung); dan radial (gubal, teras terluar, teras terdalam). Kayu diekstrak secara berurutan dengan pelarut toluena, etanol, air panas pada alat soklet. Kadar fenolat total diuji dengan metode Folin-Ciocalteu untuk ekstrak toluena. Pengukuran sifat warna menggunakan sistem CIEL*a*b*. Hasil menunjukkan bagian pangkal memiliki kadar ekstrak terlarut etanol tertinggi, tetapi memiliki kadar fenolat total relatif rendah. Nilai kecerahan (L*) lebih tinggi di bagian ujung dibandingkan dengan bagian tengah dan pangkal sedangkan nilai kemerahan (a*) relatif tinggi di bagian pangkal. Secara nyata, ekstrak terlarut toluena, ekstrak terlarut etanol, dan kadar fenolat total di bagian gubal berbeda nyata dengan bagian teras dan terdapat perbedaan antara teras terluar dan teras terdalam pada kadar esktraktif terlarut toluena dan kadar ekstraktif terlarut etanol. Berdasarkan variasi radial, warna lebih gelap di bagian teras terluar dibandingkan bagian lainnya. Kadar ekstraktif terlarut air panas memiliki hubungan yang nyata (r = -0,72) dengan nilai L* di bagian gubal. Pada bagian teras, nilai L* memiliki hubungan negatif dengan kadar ekstrak terlarut etanol (r = -0,70), kadar ekstraktif terlarut air panas (r = -0,52), dan kadar ekstraktif total (r = -0,78). Secara nyata, nilai a* memiliki hubungan negatif (r = -0,58) dengan kadar fenolat total. Relatif rendahnya kadar ekstraktif dibandingkan umur dewasa serta tidak seragamnya sifat warna pada arah longitudinal perlu menjadi perhatian dalam pemanfaatan kayu JPP umur muda. Extractives Content and Colour Properties of 11-year-old Perhutani Superior Teakwood from Ngawi Forest Management UnitAbstractThe utilization of young teak wood had increased due to the gap in demand and the supply of raw materials. To meet the high demand, Perhutani had planted the fast growing of superior teakwood (Jati Plus Perhutani/JPP). This vegetative reproduction may affect the wood properties. Extractive content is important considering its relationship with the natural durability of wood and colour properties. The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of radial and longitudinal directions on extractives content and colour properties from JPP. The JPP wood samples (11 years) were located in Ngawi Forest Management Unit. The observed factors were vertical (bottom, center, top) and radial (sapwood, outer heartwood, inner heartwood) directions. Wood extracts were obtained by successive extraction (toluene, ethanol, and hot water) in a soxhlet. Total phenolic content was also determined by Folin-Ciocalteu method in toluene soluble extract. Colour properties were determined by CIEL*a*b* system. The result showed that vertical direction had significant effect as the bottom part showed the highest value in ethanol extract content but it had lower value in total phenolic content. Brightness (L*) value was comparatively high at the top part, while redness (a*) value was high at the bottom part. The levels of toluene, ethanol, and total extract content had a significant different between sapwood and heartwood as well as between outer heartwood and inner heartwood. Based on radial direction, the colour was darker in outer heartwood compared to the other parts. The correlation degree between the values of hot water extract and L* was significant (r = -0.72) in sapwood part. In heartwood, the correlation between ethanol, hot water, and total extract contentwith L* values were negative (r = -0.70; -0.52; -0.78, respectively). The correlation between a* value and total phenolic content was moderately significant (r = -0.58). The comparatively low content of extractive compared to mature woods as well as inhomogeneity of colour properties in vertical position should be noticed for young JPP wood utilization.

Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a severe and prevalent global problem. It can damage women who survive it and children who witness it. Nurturing the mother–child relationship is critical to support mothers’ and children’s recovery. Research to date has mainly reflected information captured from conscious, verbal accounts by women and their children of explicit relationships. There is a lack of research on implicit relationships involving nonverbal and unconscious interactions that can be difficult to verbalize, especially for children. This is the first paper that describes the application of an art-based method, Joint Painting Procedure (JPP) with Chinese mother–child dyads who survived IPV to study their implicit relationship. It was conducted in a shelter for abused women in Hong Kong. Mother–child dyad was considered “partners,” and JPP was used in novel ways of promoting their agency and strengths, which became the key to turning difficulties in the data collection process into advantages. The dyads mutually enjoyed their co-creation process; however, this did not guarantee their engagement in the post-painting discussion. To facilitate this, a post-painting discussion guide was co-developed to encourage dyads to exercise their agency and strengths, decide what to present in their discussions, and how to do this. JPP and the discussion guide created a synergistic way to optimize children’s active participation, uncover mothers' needs of personal space boundaries and encourage children to learn to respect it, facilitate open dyadic dialogues, and allow reflection in a relaxed setting. Dyads’ participation in JPP and the post-painting discussions elicited information that would have been otherwise challenging to obtain. This approach can improve understanding of the mother–child relationship in the context of IPV that may imply that the art-based dyadic process can be an effective approach to rebuild and restrengthen the mother–child relationship in the post-separation stage of IPV.

The Community Grant (G-KOM) initiative was started in 2013 and continued in 2014 until 2019. As the agency that regulates the registration of organizations in Malaysia, JPPM takes a serious responsibility to ensure security and peace in the country and the well-being of the people is preserved. Is the program effectively perceived by the community? Is there a relationship between neighbourhood/community activity fund management and hygiene and maintenance programs? Among the objectives of the study are, 1) to identify the level of effectiveness for neighbourhood/community activities, and 2) to identify the effectiveness level for hygiene and maintenance programs. This study uses a quantitative approach using a questionnaire form that has been constructed using the google form link. The selection of online data collection techniques was made after considering the Conditional Movement Control Order following the outbreak of COVID-19 in Malaysia. The study receives feedback from 1188 respondents among associations registered under JPPM. The findings reveal significant remarks on both variables which are positive by the majority. The mean score for items makes it clear the relevancies for the program. This study suggests a deeper analysis of multiple regression to identify the items that have more wights in measuring both variables.
