This study was planned to clarify the recent milk and reproductive performances of high yielding dairy crossbreds based on various genotype, parity and location beside the Baghabari Milk Vita areas of Bangladesh. Performance records were collected from total 81 crossbred cows from both 15 households in Sirajgonj and Pabna districts, and six bathan areas at Sirajgonj. Genetic admixture of various breeds identified in the studied areas showed diverse performance. Milk production not varied statistically (16.27 to 19.33 liters per day as peak) either for genotype, parity or region but differed in number of AI services for last pregnancy in L×HF×SL (1) and L×HF×JE (2.18) genotypes at household level. Average 70 days observed between the day of calving and next fertile AI service in dairy farming. The study on bathan revealed about 23 months for age at first fertile AI in high yielding dairy cows with average 1.92 AI services per cow for last conceive. Peak milk production identified in HF crossed with local than HF×SL and JE genotypes. Screening, record keeping and controlled AI or mating with specific targeted breed could increase breed uniformity and productivity of high yielding crossbreds not only in Milk Vita region but also other milk pocket areas of this country. In addition, breed composition study is required for ensuring specific breed effects on production performance to design a planned breeding for sustainable dairy breed development in Bangladesh.Asian J. The aim of this thesis is to develop a framework for the classification of documents, as a basic tool for the records management system of the Valencian Parliament, with a view to facilitate the administrative management, the decision making and the retrieval of information.The methodology employed understands two stages: a review of the history of the Institution, its policies, procedure and function and, secondly, an actualised bibliographical review about the doctrine relative to the parliamentary control of government, and archival theories about document classification.The result is a functional table for document classification which is homogenous for the entire institution and allows adequate control, protection and records management, the standardization and simplification of procedure and the optimal exploitation of information from the Chamber.In conclusion, the system designed has been seen to be valid for the institution, achieving the expected goals in affording access to all users, including managers, politicians and researchers

This research has been treating strategic plan, performance programs and annual reports in the context of cause and effect. Strategic plans are the documents that the fundamental aims of institutions have been stated in a particular time. Performance programs are the application documents of the strategic plans annualy. It has seen that not much sufficient researchs that surveying how is the shape of services focusing information and records in the strategic plans and performance programs of municipalities up to date. Study is handling the subject of "in the which level municipalities as a local government agency, could achieve the services focusing information and records management that presented in strategic plans and performance programs." In this study, how the services focusing information and records has been shaped and achieving of the mentioned goals or not has been researched. These services are classified in three ways: providing the service intented to public that includes establishing libraries, resources of institutional information service shaped with consisting institution archive and electronic records management systems and the services scope of e-Government. In this research, strategic plan and performance programs of municipalities have been examined and realization of goals or not have been checked by annual reports and Web sites of municipalities. It has seen that hypothesis was valid for the %60 of district municipalities of Istanbul at least. The following essay aims to highlight the essential role of digital preservation to keep the documents of today available for tomorrow by studying and analizing one of its most important branches: web archiving. This one is a discipline that has its roots in Library Science and Information Science, and it is completely alien to the world of the archives in our country. The first part of this essay offers a brief overview on web archiving and, from an archival science point of view, will try to answer questions like: What is web archiving? What is it used for? When did it begin? Which organizations are putting it into practice? How can we capture and store a website? In the second part, we will try to think about the implementation of web archiving from the perspective of the archival science, who can take a step forward in its evolution by the accomplishment of this sort of challenges.

A proposal of tools for document management of the Ministry of Popular Power for Labour and Social Security has, given its functions as an organ dedicated to public policies on labor and social security matters and that there are shortages of proper management today documentary in administrative files under the Ministry, to which there is a need to propose tools to systematize the document management by implementing a central filing system where information management policies and supported by the theoretical knowledge management principles established archival documentary that can be applied in the treatment of the Ministry documentary. Identifying the problem it is successfully detected by direct observation and a questionnaire type survey which was answered by the employees responsible for the files, just as a descriptive study is presented with descriptive cross-transactional or non-experimental design. As a result of the investigation the proposal is implemented in file units is presented.

Concerning many problems founded on the imagetic records organization, I intend to discuss the specificity of such material. The solution adopted by Brazilians archivists usually analyzes and organizes the records based only on the images subject description, abandoning the motives that were responsible for their generation as a record. Brazilian examples on holdings of this kind of records are put under suspicion when they are collated with the principles posed by the Archival Science. I assumed that archival records (writing or imagetic ones) are, in first place, registers of an administrative action, preserved to prove that this action was made instead of ready-made sources for historical research.. In my proposal, the production context, as a directive to the archival organization, comes as a fundamental issue, capable to guarantee the comprehension of the imagetic record genesis, the identification of subjects, as well their utilization on the historical research. The argumentation, mediated by the discussion on the application of some methodological references posed by the tradition of the Warburg Institute, puts the general issue on a relational perspective.

Background: This master’s degree dissertation has as its central theme policies on archival appraisal in practice in regional administration of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (RAM). An exploratory and comparative analysis to the concepts, models and theoretical and methodological influences, processes and procedures for archival appraisal is carried out, based on a theoretical scientific corpus and its international, national and regional legal-normative framework. Also, an analysis of procedures for the appraisal of archival information in the autonomous regional administration of Madeira (RAM) is made. This analysis is based on a corpus of records management ordinances published in the Jornal Oficial da Região Autónoma da Madeira, through which we identify semantic patterns around the objectives and strategic guidelines that the producers have adopted for the management and control of their informational resources. Objectives: The aim of the present study is to analyze the policies of archival appraisal from a scientific, legal and regulatory corpora, within the framework of the madeiran regional archival system, particularly around legal and normative dispositions (portarias de gestão de documentos) recommended by the regional law, as Decreto Legislativo Regional no. 26/99/M, de 27 de agosto and Decreto Legislativo Regional no. 5/2004/M, de 14 de julho. Design research and method: This master dissertation has a qualitative approach to the theoretical framework of organizational phronesis, through a review of literature and content analysis of textual corpora of the “portarias de gestão de documentos”. To support our content analysis, the specific software CADQAS was used. Results and conclusions: Regarding to the literature review around the scientific and legal corpora and the regulatory framework about records appraisal, we observe a methodological diversity practiced through different archival appraisal traditions, in particular the schellenberguian tradition, whose theoretical and methodological assumptions were incorporated by various national archival systems. The madeiran regional archival system, as extension of the national public administration, encodes the archival appraisal in records management ordinances. The results of content analysis show that the portarias de gestão de documentos are key instruments for public archival appraisal in regional public administration, for the purposes of reduction of information/documentation and for the constitution of the Archival Heritage. However, the majority of the ordinances for records appraisal focuses on idiosyncrasies of producer organization and the perspective of the archival appraisal processes and procedures only consist of a vertical relationship between the producer body and the management body of the regional system of archives. To cope with the obsolescence of the archival appraisal instrumenta and the subsequent problems of control of archival goods of the madeiran public government, we propose an increase of functions and attributions of the main managing body of the regional archival system and the regional archival network’s implementation to strengthen the existing architecture of the regional archival system.

The objective of this research is to propose a Free Software & Open Source software for automated management of oral tradition documents Word Archive. The Archive of the word protects documents oral tradition, these are part of the information resources for researchers, anthropologists, teachers and other users interested in the subject. To optimize the management of documents of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Archives of the Word, the documents must be stored and indexed in a system that allows manage and retrieve them quickly and efficiently. Under this background a system that meets the needs of automation Word Archive determined. ARCHON, ICA AtoM and Archivist 'Toolkit: three softwares for automation of files were analyzed. Showing the advantages and disadvantages for the development of an automated file of oral tradition. We sought to be allowed to record, store, preserve and disseminate the Intangible Cultural Heritage with the software. The software that was chosen is ARCHON, the technical requirements were analyzed and explained step by step installation.
