Résumé :
Trait Intellect, one of the two ‘aspects’ of the broader Openness/Intellect ‘domain’, predicts performance on a range of cognitive tasks including tests of intelligence and working memory. This has been explained in terms of the tendency for high–Intellect individuals to explore, or engage more effortfully with, abstract information. This theoretical perspective can be framed in the language of Resource Allocation Theory, in terms of high–Intellect individuals allocating more of their available cognitive resources to abstract cognitive tasks. In two experiments (total N = 160), we examined the relation between Intellect and cognitive engagement during a primary word–search task under conditions of both high and low secondary cognitive load. Both experiments revealed that high–Intellect individuals were more vulnerable to the impact of the secondary cognitive load on primary task performance. This suggests that, under low secondary load, such individuals were indeed allocating more of their available cognitive resources to the primary task. These results held after controlling for trait Openness, trait Industriousness (an aspect of Conscientiousness) and a measure of working memory capacity (N–back task). Our findings provide novel support for the cognitive mechanisms proposed to underlie trait Intellect. Copyright © 2016 European Association of Personality Psychology

Résumé :
The ArgumentNaturalization confers authority on beliefs, conventions, and claims, but what kind of authority? Because the meaning of nature has a history, so does that of naturalization:naturalization is not the same tactic when marshaled in, say, eighteenth-century France and in late nineteenth-century Britain. Although the authority of nature may be invoked in both cases, the import of that authority depends crucially on whether nature is understood normatively or descriptively, within the framework of the natural laws of jurisprudence or within that of the natural laws of mechanics. During the early modern period, the denotative center of gravity of the word “nature” shifted dramatically. Writings about the female intellect are particularly well suited to reflect and focus these changes for three reasons: first, as with so many aspects of gender identity, what was distinctively female about women's way of thinking was usually alleged to be part and parcel of their “nature”; second, thepolitical and social implications of the female intellect were debated heatedly and in unprecedented detail, particularly in France; and third, the actual content of beliefs about what traits sex the intellect as female remained relatively constant during this period, despite sharp differences of opinion over their putative “natural” causes. The female intellect was naturalized not once but repeatedly, and therein lies its value for a history of naturalization.

Résumé :
The fifth factor in lexical studies of trait adjectives is commonly interpreted as Intellect, whereas the corresponding factor derived from questionnaire studies is typically identified as Openness to Experience. Intellect as a construct is problematic because it erroneously suggests an equivalence of Factor V with intelligence, describes aspects of Factor III (Conscientiousness) as well as of Factor V, and fails to suggest the diverse psychological correlates that Factor V is known to have. By contrast, Openness to Experience is a broader construct that implies both receptivity to many varieties of experience and a fluid and permeable structure of consciousness. Data from analyses of adjectives, established personality questionnaires, and Hartmann's (1991) new Boundary Questionnaire support these interpretations. The construct of Openness can be transported across geographical and cultural boundaries to function as a universal dimension of personality structure.

Résumé :
Over the last 20-years, markets come to dominate the way 'resources' are managed. The expansion of the market doctrine has at its core the belief that the apporpiate private property rights are the best way to promote innovation and protect freedoms. The scramble over the private property rights is now well entrenched in the intellectual property arena, with countless examples of patents entering areas that once seemed inconceivable. Thi article moves from Bollier's (2002) disucssion of the concept to argue that intellect, rather than being commodity that is promoted by private property rights is rather a commons— specifically a 'cultural commons'. As such, the process of commodification turn intellect into intellectual property—limiting availability. As a commons, if intellect is to be prmoted, it must be open and shared in the public sphere. In contrast to the ongoing commodification of all aspects of life, social movements and academics are begining to rediscover the commons. This rediscovery now takes the battle between the dominant forces of free market fundamentalism and those who oppose them, into the cultural sphere.

One of the most interesting unsolved problems in cognitive ethology studies is associated with the interaction of hereditarily determined behavioral patterns and the skills based on individual and social experience, and with the ability to apply the results of this interaction to new situations. Human intellect may be characterized by outstanding versatility. Representatives of different animal species exhibit extremely complex forms of cognitive activity, but within very narrow domains. Cognitive behavior is based on a set of features, which include species-specific filtering of stimuli, innate tendency to form certain associative links and prohibit the formation of other, genetically determined set of stereotypes, early experience. Speciesspecific limitations shape specialized cognitive development in different species, including humans.

Résumé :
This article presents ideological intersections of personality’s analysis in the Armenian and Russian social-philosophical thought. In particular, between Russian sociologists of the end of XIX and the beginning of XX centuries (A.I.Stronin, N.I.Kareev) and the Armenian philosophers of IV - VIII centuries (Мesrop Мashtots, David Аnhakht). First are discussed Мesrop Mashtots’ ideas about developing personality’s cognitive abilities and social-pedagogical aspects of personality in A.I.Stronin’s manuscript. The Russian and Armenian thinkers are united by aspiration to show education significance for personality’s development. The second issue is the essence of practical and theoretical philosophy according to David Аnhakht and theoretical and practical aspect of personality’s analysis according to A.I.Stronin’s conception. In total, the approaches of David Аnhakht and A.I.Stronin agree in the opinion that the practical and theoretical aspects of personality’s analysis are complementary to each other, by submitting a personality as harmoniously developed social creature. Thirdly, this paper deals with the David Аnhakht’s conception of human emotional world, ethic aspect of personality’s analysis in the A.I.Stronin’s manuscript and morality in personality’s formation according to N.I.Kareev. The central idea that unites David Аnhakht, A.I.Stronin and N.I.Kareev is the following: the main factor in personality’s development is perfection by means of intellect and height of morality.

The article discusses a new phenomenon of digital media sphere, i.e. news media robots, which are capable of creating content on a technological platform of intellectual systems. Interdisciplinary approaches to understanding this phenomenon, which attract theoretical concepts and cases from artificial intelligence, knowledge engineering and natural language technologies are considered. It is stated, that in the core of intellectual systems lie computational models of natural human intelligence and knowledge. The phenomenon of imitation as a characteristic of social and technical systems general ability to self-study relying on a sample is viewed as a key mechanism media robots adaptation to social environment. The case study of generating news content within the context of frames theory is provided as an illustration of universal formalism for representation of knowledge and social actions. The structure of general human intelligence, provided by Cattell — Horn theory, is considered as a possible reference model for comparison of a robotic intellectual system with natural human intelligence. The similarity between a general intelligence structure and an “intellectual” structure of a media robot is noted. The article defines the technology of modelling a natural language as the most prospective means of broadening the verbal intellect of a media robot. It is stated in conclusion, that one can observe trends for convergence in the methodology of knowledge engineering and analytical journalism. In a long-term perspective serious progress in creating new generation of media robots requires reproduction of such human abilities, as learning and “sense” of social responsibility. For this reason joint efforts in interdisciplinary studies in digital media, artificial intelligence and cognitive sciences are required.

Background: Sotos syndrome is a genetic disorder caused by NSD1 gene (nuclear receptor binding SET domain containing protein 1) variants and characterized by overgrowth, macrocephaly, learning disabilities, and co-occurring neuropsychiatric symptoms. Methods: Literature sources published in 2002–2023 were selected and analyzed from PubMed and Google Scholar databases. Results: Neuropsychiatric symptoms are observed among children and adolescents with Sotos syndrome. The majority have intellectual disabilities or borderline intellect. Verbal IQ is higher than performance IQ. Individuals display difficulties in expressing language. Aggression is reported by parents. Children express autistic behavior, ADHD, anxiety based on phobias, and early bedtime-wake times. Conclusions: Sotos syndrome is associated with neuropsychiatric disorders in children. Slow intellectual and language development, aggressive outbursts, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, and hyperactivity are present in the newest studies. Comprehensive assistance is needed for Sotos syndrome patients in responding to areas of difficulty. There is still a lack of research on the developmental characteristics of these children and the possibilities of improving psychosocial adaptation by providing multidisciplinary long-term medical, educational, and social care.

A term "engineering" has his root in the Latin word "ingenium", that means an "intellect" or "talent". It originates from a word "ingeniare", that is translated how to "found" or "invent". Exactly in this Latin expression there is an initial idea about work and ability to decide difficult tasks. There is the nearest to the man, her comfort residence and work. An engineering concept, as disciplines, is constrained with the use of scientific knowledge and technologies for planning, town-planning, architecture, creation and support of the different engineering systems and constructions. In the modern value, engineering embraces the wide spectrum of industries, such as mechanical, electric, computer, chemical, civil, aerospace et al, and has an important value for development of technologies and infrastructures of settlements, that are necessary for modern society. Self-society needs development of different types of engineering, that influence on his normal functioning and steady development. In this context the "civil engineering" is the nearest to the man, her comfort residence and work. A management social process is totality of actions and strategies, sent to influence and organization of the social phenomena, processes and co-operations in society. It includes a management behavior, by activity, relations and other aspects of human life, that take place in public terms. Thus a management social processes ("social engineering") is based on research, analysis and understanding of sociological, psychological, economic, political and cultural aspects of society. Him a primary purpose consists in the achievement of certain social goals and decision of problems, including technical, that stand before society. The basic aspects of management social processes it an analysis and prognostication: careful research and analysis of social processes help to understand their reasons, consequences and tendencies.

Résumé :
This study describes and compares the long-term socio-economic impact for patients diagnosed with a vestibular schwannoma and either operated on or observed.A consecutive sample of patients diagnosed with vestibular schwannoma in Denmark and either operated on (748 patients) or observed by the wait-and-re-scan policy (272 patients) during the period 1976-2000 were studied retrospectively. The consequences of operation/diagnosis (andobservation) on vocational status, ability to handle daily chores and some psycho-social aspects were studied by means of a prospective postal questionnaire. Ninety-six per cent of the operated and 83 per cent of the observed patients answered the questionnaire. Overall, 34 per cent of operated patients resumed their daily activities within one to two months, and 76 per cent within four to six months. Patients operated on for a large tumour resumed their daily activities later than patients with a small tumour. Regardless of tumour size, employment was unchanged for the majority of observed and operated patients. The vocational consequences were significantly worse for operated patients with a large tumour, than for observed patients. However, no difference existed between the observed group and operated patients with a tumour below 20 mm in size. A change in vocational status was most frequent for assisting spouses, unskilled manual workers and the self-employed. The majority of both observed and operated patients experienced no change in their ability to handle daily chores. The changed ability of operated patients was worse than that of observed patients. Among various changes in their psycho-social well-being, decrease in social ability was the most frequent complaint in both groups, followed by increased fatigue, decreased concentration, increased irritability, depression and headache, decreased intellect and libido. Regardless of tumour size, the change in social ability, concentration and fatigue was worse for operatedpatients. Concerning headache, patients operated on for a large tumour were better off than observed patients and patients operated on fora small tumour. There was no difference between the operated and observed groups concerning irritability, intellect and libido.Deterioration of vocational status, ability to handle daily chores and several aspects of psycho-social well-being are reported both by patients operated on and observed for vestibular schwannoma. However, the negative changes were more frequent among the operated patients, although the differences were surprisingly modest, especially when comparing observed patients with patients operated on for a small tumour.

Résumé :
Humanistic education (also known as person-centered education) is a learning theory based on humanistic psychology, aiming to promote the development of the learner as a “whole person.” Various aspects such as the intellect, social and emotional skills, and artistic and practical capabilities of the student are all important considerations in the humanistic approach to education (Zhang, 2010). It places a great deal of emphasis on students’ choice and control over the course of their education. Students are encouraged to make choices that range from day-to-day activities to goal settings. According to Rogers, one of the founders of humanistic psychology as well as the humanistic learning theory, the primary purpose of education is to train the student to want and know how to learn, and the ability to learn should relate to the fulfillment of other needs (as cited in Xie, 2016).

Résumé :

The aim of this work was to develop and test the questionnaire of imaginary representations of the professional activity of athletes. We have developed a questionnaire of 100 questions, including 9 parameters (subscales). The questionnaire was tested on 399 sportsmen, 48.4% of which were candidates for the master of sports, master of sports or international class master of sports. The statistical analysis showed a good agreement of these parameters (subscales), which was 0,61—0,89. Characteristic features of image representations (IR) were revealed for representatives of different sports. The results showed that in dynamic sports under conditions of uncertainty athletes more often note the IR of temporal, spatial, informational, energetic aspects of the sports situation, as well as the game intellect. In solitarysports athletes more often talk about motivational-personal aspects of representation, in group sports — about the representation of the social environment, which is explained by the specifics inherent in solitary and group sports activities. It is also shown that in dynamic sports under given conditions "peaks" of the profile are noted on the representation of technical-tactical, energy components and motivational-personal aspects. In static sports technical-tactical and motivational-personal aspects of representation come to the fore. Thus, the questionnaire of imaginary representations of professional activity of athletes can be used as a tool for diagnostics of peculiarities of imaginary representations in athletes.

Texte intégral
Résumé :
Introduction. Phenylketonuria (PKU), a genetic disease with autosomal dominant transmission, is the most frequent inborn error in aminoacidic metabolism. The variations in phenylalanine-hydroxylase (PAH) gene lead to a lowered enzymatic activity causing hyperphenylalaninemia. PKU has a mean European prevalence of 1:10,000 newborns, with a large variation in different ethnicities and geographic regions. The large genetic variability (over 1200 genetic variants known) as well as other factors determines a wide spectrum of metabolic phenotypes. Untreated, PKU leads to irreversible intellectual disability, low stature, hypopigmentation, motor deficits, seizures, but the early diagnosis and treatment enables almost normal somatic and mental development. Aim. The aim of this study is the determination of the impact of non-genetic factors over the clinical phenotype of PKU patients in a region of north-west Romania. Material and method. The study group is formed from 44 patients diagnosed with phenylketonuria in the 1981 – 2021 period, found in the database of Bihor Regional Center for Medical Genetics, Emergency Clinical County Hospital, Oradea, Romania. The collected data was referring to the age, sex and domicile of the patients, the age of the diagnosis and the beginning of the treatment, also the metabolic control over the years, the metabolic phenotype of the patients and its impact on the clinical phenotype (IQ, the presence or absence of intellectual disability or the existence of a specific clinical phenotype). Results. The majority of patients (66%) were diagnosticated with phenylketonuria in the first 4 months of life, although there were cases with a late diagnosis, 20.5% of the patients were diagnosticated after the age of 1 year. Based on the pre-treatment plasmatic levels of phenylalanine, the majority of cases (72.7%) had a severe metabolic phenotype (classic PKU - cPKU), 20.5% of cases had a milder form of PKU (mPKU) and 6.8% of patients were found with a mild hyperphenylalaninemia (HPA). In the case of 23 patients, an optimal metabolic control was not obtained. The specific phenotype (blonde hair, light skin, blue eyes) was found in 22.7% of cases, 77.3% not having these features. At 68.2% of cases intellectual disability was found, with different levels of severity: 5 patients (11.5%) had liminal intellect, 9 patients (20.5%) had mild mental retardation, 6 patients (13.6%) had moderate mental retardation, 9 cases (20.5%) were with severe mental retardation and 1 patient (2.3%) had profound mental retardation; 31.8% of cases had normal intellect. The prevalence in Bihor county is 1:7,843 newborns. Discussions. A partial or, in rare cases, total lack of dietetic treatment was observed in all patients over 20 years old (current age). The delay in treatment initiation or an insufficient treatment, with a suboptimal metabolic control, will affect patient’s intellect, regardless of metabolic phenotype. If in 20 years old patients, or older, the main reason for mental retardation is the lack of dietetic treatment availability in the first years of life, for the younger patients the reason for mental retardation is usually a lack of compliance with the treatment. The majority of metabolic phenotypes is cPKU, in concordance with the literature data; the mild phenotype (HPA) was observed in a small percentage of patients, smaller than the data reported in the literature. In the first two studied decades the mild phenotypes were seldom observed. In the absence of screening tests or suggestive clinical manifestation it can be assumed that HPA patients remained undiagnosed, which would explain the small HPA percentage in the study group. A significant improvement in metabolic control in younger patients compared with older ones was observed, which denotes a better access to specific alimentation on one side, and o the other side, a better understanding of the disease from the patients and their families. Also, this study confirms a known fact that the diet in PKU is of great importance in the disease evolution. In this study there were included patients with severe metabolic phenotype with good metabolic control which reached adulthood without intellectual deficits, with higher education, social integrated and also patients with mild metabolic phenotype but with a poor metabolic control which developed intellectual deficiency. Conclusions. The PKU prevalence in Bihor county is higher than the estimated national value. The late diagnosis and treatment or the poor metabolic control led to intellectual disability, regardless of the metabolic phenotype. PKU screening and the better access to treatment allows younger generations of patients to enjoy a superior quality of life than the patients from the first two studied decades.

Résumé :
Folklore forms a large part of society. The term folklore is a compound English word that has a Germanic root and is used to mean wisdom, intellect and knowledge of the people. Folklore plays a significant role and assists future generations in understanding the life, thoughts, traditions, social aspects, national values, histories, pride and other things of the people of their nation. As a result, it can be easily compared with the current situation and take advantage of early experiences, because folklore can provide considerable needed elements and materials with respect to social, political, economic and historical research. It is a fact that folklore has a fundamental value in the literary history, political history, economic aspects and artistic tastes of a language. The significance of collecting folklore is that it strengthens the spiritual and material relationship of the people associated with their lives and tells each other thoughts, feelings, emotions and aspirations. Another importance of collecting folklore is that it can be used in the study of linguistics, sociology, literary studies, social relations, and human civilization. Researchers in this field are required to pay attention to the folkloric elements of the people. If not so, their work will be insignificant. If we look at the history of folklore, it is clear that when humans faced natural disasters, they did not have any scientific approach to investigate the respective events, but rather their own thoughts and experiences. Keeping in mind those assumptions and experiences, we can predict that folkloric suppositions and experiments were the data for present researchers, which were based on experiments and now based on scientific facts that show the worth of folklore in society.

Animal farm by George Orwell published in 1945 seems to be a plainly written tale at a cursory glance but it with an in depth study we could fathom the scope of it. Animal farm is rich at diverse flavours all well mixed to give the perfect taste for sensibilities and intellect. Richness of literary techniques, multidimensional narratives, characters and symbolic delicacies is offered by animal farm. The literary richness is exhibited in a simple allegorical form which represents perfect craftsmanship. This paper will discuss the various vital aspects of the novel including its multidimensional themes, felicitous characters, diverse narratives and precise symbols along with the well established techniques of social settlements. George Orwell the writer had an intimate experience of the brutal dealings during World War II, as he corresponded for BBC. He was instigated by the communism at USSR and his desire to bring to light the factual conditions and real reasons which gave birth to the novella Animal Farm. The variety of themes strikes the correct chord of thought. The novella is written in a form of political allegory based on the political and social fervour; where the characters replicate the leaders, common populace, bureaucrats and enterprise-grade at USSR during and after the Russian revolution of 1917.

Résumé :
There is an established concept in society that men decrease their sexual activity with age and, if they are intellectual, this reduction occurs early. However, if men with the same health characteristics were studied, probably the results would be less unfavourable to the elderly. The daily normal sperm density is (50 to 250) X 106 sperm/ml of seminal fluid and extragonadal spermatozoal reserve is from (500 to 1000) X 106, of which about 200 X 106 are available for ejaculation. There are several factors that reduce spermatogenesis, including age, but the most fertile forms of spermatozoa and their motility reach their highest concentration between 40 and 50 years. The minimal sperm count effective in fertilization is 20 X 106 sperm/ml semen, a value that can be found even after the age of 80 years. Considering that semen is continuously produced, there is a natural desire for ejaculation, manifested by libido, regardless of age, ethnicity, social class and intellect, as long as there are no impeding factors. Sexual dysfunctions result from emotional and psychic disorders, serious pelvic and systemic diseases, as well as complications from trauma, surgical treatments and radiotherapy. Sexual activities are natural and, like all other physiological aspects, are influenced by organic, mental, social, cultural and educational disorders.

Résumé :
The methods of “material religion” elaborated in social anthropology and the materialistic (Marxist) approach to the study of religious life are methodologically different ways of turning our accustomed understanding upside down: the spiritual activity of Homo religiosus, acting as generating source, produces something material—sacred images, houses of prayer, and objects of worship. The method of material religion involves determining how the culturally specific sensory experience of the individual generates that which is interpreted by this individual, their fellow believers, and external observers—who usually receive accounts of such states in narratives—as actual religious experience. But behind what is read as a replica of the spiritual, disembodied world there is always the work of man, which, however, can be difficult to recognize in this quality. The Marxist materialist perspective, inevitably sharpened critically against religion as a typical ideology, seeks to find a basis for spiritual life in the economic conditions of human existence and society, which in this tradition of understanding human nature, are inevitably linked to labour. These two research traditions, which have the potential to enrich each other, remain in different segments of the academic field. One possible common ground for a collaborative project for these two perspectives is the study of infrastructural aspects of religious life. Another collaborative project could be the very work of social anthropologists who, using their bodies and intellect as their most accessible and potentially inalienable research tool, produce experiences comparable to those of believers and translate them into the terms of social science.

Résumé :
The meaning of justice can be defined according to a juridical, human, theological, ethical, biomedical, or social perspective. It should guarantee the protection of life and health, personal, civil, political, economic, and religious rights, as well as non-discrimination, inclusion, protection, and access to care. In this review, we deal with three theoretical concepts that define justice in all its aspects. (1) The utilitarian theory, which justifies moral statements on the basis of the evaluation of the consequences that an action produces, elaborating a pragmatic model of medical science. (2) The libertarian theory, which considers freedom as the highest political aim, thus absolutizing the rights of the individual; here, the principle of self-determination, with respect to which the principle of permission/consent is the fundamental presupposition, plays a central role in the definition of the person. (3) The iusnaturalist theory, in which man’s moral freedom is identified with the ability to act by choosing what the intellect indicates to him as good; the natural moral law that drives every conscience to do good is therefore realized in respect for the person in the fullness of his rights. In conclusion, different forms and conceptions of justice correspond to different organizations of society and different ways of addressing ethical issues in the biomedical domain.

Résumé :
One very basic difference between education in a simple society and modern society is a shift from the need for individuals to learn something that is agreed upon by everyone for their survival, both present and future. The greater the knowledge and complex skills to be learned, the longer it will take for the continuity of social life. The task of education in society is to arouse intellectual curiosity, that is, attention to knowledge that is separate from its practical application. This is not easy, because it requires attitude, discipline and intellect that is not pragmatic, instant and fast-paced. With the existence of educational comparisons in this society, a more balanced, critical comparison of our education system is processed. It is clear, that in education there is no bias in moving complex practices into a culture that is more complex and large and expecting results. On the other hand, the success of a simple society in taking care of certain aspects in encouraging their education will encourage us to overcome our educational problems such as the problem of integrating children into the community into their environment and arousing student interest, motivation and attention during the education period. It is necessary to look for solutions with a greater perspective and optimism. Keywords: Education, Society, Modern, Simple.

The relevance of studying the features of the meaning regulation of a person is due to the need to describe the mechanisms of the formation of meanings under the influence of cultural, social, historical and ideological aspects of his life. The authors present a theoretical analysis of the features of the formation of the system of personal meanings of people belonging to Western and Eastern Christianity. The purpose of the article is to identify the cultural and confessional factors of psychological differences in adaptive and preadaptive meaning regulation that exist among representatives of the Catholic and Orthodox branches of the Christian world. The paper analyzes the influence of various cultural and confessional factors on the meaning regulation of representatives of Catholicism and Orthodoxy. Catholicism and Orthodoxy, as the western and eastern branches of Christianity, have corresponding differences in the field of religious priorities: God's descent to earth at Christmas and likening to man against the divine Resurrection as a sacrifice for man; worldview: anthropocentrism against сhristocentrism; epistemological views: logical analysis and materialistic rationalism of the intellect and against the sacred unity of the relationship between man and nature; value attitudes: acceptance of one's imperfection against the desire for a divine prototype; cultural priorities: welfare versus sanctity; ethical beliefs: primacy of individual rights versus duties to the soul's conscience; social identities: self-affirmation based on law versus religious humility before spiritual precepts; political preferences: individual freedom versus the common good; legal concepts: legal contract versus moral union. Based on the analysis of the scientific works presented in this study, it is proposed to consider the cultural and confessional features of Catholicism as correlating mainly with the adaptive orientation of meaning-forming strategies, and Orthodoxy as correlating mainly with the preadaptive orientation of meaning-forming strategies.

Résumé :
The present research features anthroposociality, economy, and technology as three dimensions of knowledge management in the firm. The purpose of the research is to substantiate the advancement of anthroposociality for knowledge management as the non-material dimension in the transition to the socialized knowledge economy in comparison with material dimensions. The research method is the analysis of conceptual models of knowledge management through the prism of the methodological triad "anthroposociality – economy – technology". The author proposes a new dimension of knowledge management in the firm, i.e. anthroposociality, and formulates the theoretical foundations of practical measures in technology and economy, which determine the correlation of the chosen dimensions of knowledge management in industrial economy, capitalized knowledge economy, and socialized knowledge economy. The author determines the priorities of these dimensions according to the objectives of knowledge management in a firm operating in one of the economies mentioned. The results can be used for the development of the personnel and social policies. Conclusions: 1. The theoretical basis "anthroposociality is the measure of practicality of the economy" is substantiated by the priority of the benefits of the social economy to the employees in the form of their health, as well as moral and material wellbeing in the society. 2. For knowledge management, the following aspects have been established: the predominance of technology in the industrial economy, since its goal is the production application of knowledge of employees to extract profit; the primacy of economy in the capitalized knowledge economy because of the goal of making a profit by developing the intellect of the worker; the priority of anthroposociality in the socialized knowledge economy due to the goal of the all-round development of the individual-worker by making a profit from the use of technology. 3. Development of the personnel and social policies of the firm, taking into account the proposed dimension of knowledge management, will increase the importance of anthroposociality in the management of a modern firm, which will become a condition for the goal-in-itself development of workers in the knowledge economy.

Résumé :
The article substantiates, defines, and discloses the current Ukrainian studies of the teacher’s pedagogical culture in the context of modern political, social, and cultural issues of national education system formation in Ukraine. Attention is focused on the fact that the current mission of the New Ukrainian School education is to strengthen and develop the national idea, which is the lifeblood of state growth and the way to victory. Thus, it is necessary to form a pedagogical culture based on Ukrainian studies, which should be everywhere in educational, cultural, artistic, scientific, and information environments. It has been proven that the cult of culture, primarily national, must be perceived as a methodology of modern education. It should serve not only historical truth, intellectualization, and humanization of the personality but also be a safeguard, caution, and protection against expansion in the future, strengthening the Spirit of the People, which is our indomitable strength. It has been found that, when forming the personality of a teacher, lecturer, and their pedagogical culture, it is necessary to pay attention to two key aspects – professional and cultural, because the institution of higher education should provide not only “knowledge” competencies, but also create a cultural teacher. Pedagogical culture is formed two-dimensionally – concordantly and logically, sensually and rationally, humanely and realistically, with heart and mind. It is a kind of synthesis of soul and reason (intellect). It has been established that Ukrainian studies should be considered an essential component in the education content, which makes it sound, intellectual, humane, and national, strengthening the social processes of state-nation creation. Since educational Ukrainian-centrism will make it impossible for the rudiments of “cultural and educational imperialism” of Moscovites to manifest, which has always tried to destroy the national-historical life of Ukrainians, planting the ideology of little russia and statelessness. They can realize the highest civic task of education, which is to cultivate respect for one’s own “I,” one’s Kindred, People, Ukraine, to serve as a spiritual, socio-political factor of consolidation and development of the Nation.

Résumé :
In the latter years the main education terms became the point of rather active discussion. And it is natural, because over the last two decades education terminology expanded, a lot of new terms joined education sciences. On the one hand, such changes were caused by rapid education science development, abundant theoretical and empiric researches, on the other hand, after reestablishment of Lithuanian Independence, new possibilities opened to get acquainted with international practice, to adopt it to Lithuanian educational practice. In 2010, in Lithuania various discussions on educology terminology questions were initiated. This year, on February 11, Lithuanian Republic Education board and Vilnius Pedagogical University initiated the meeting of educology scientists on usage of educology terms in educology scientific publications, in pedagogic activity and educational documents. As practice showed, it is very difficult to find common decisions. Ambiguity, abundance of various synonymic terms became prominent in educology; the process of emergence of new terms is practically out of control, chaotic. Quite a big part of new terms are contradictory (e.g, development education, global and/or international education). It becomes unclear, what is the place of the main (axial) terms in the whole education terminology system, how the hierarchy of the whole term system is kept (or is it kept). Without attempting to go into exhaustive educology term analysis, we can give definitions of the main educology terms referring to systemic approach principle (Lamanauskas, 2004). Education – organized, expedient and purposeful life experience (knowledge, abilities and values) acquisition for life (cognition, consideration, acting) Education (enlightenment) - situational person (personality) and society’s orientation in current situation expansion in various aspects. Upbringing – education process when person’s moral is formed through interaction of values and abilities. Training – personality maturity guaranteeing parameters’ comprehensive, constant and systemic expansion and development. Teaching – education process when person’s intellect is formed through the interaction of knowledge and person’s abilities. In fact, there is no absolute agreement among educology specialists regarding the usage of terms. Such an agreement can hardly be reached, because the same terms in different contexts acquire different meanings and can be differently interpreted. Education, first of all, is a complex, diverse phenomenon. On the one hand, by education we seek that a person would acquire knowledge and abilities (intellect formation), on the other hand – could perceive the world of values (moral formation). Education, as a very complex system, features hierarchic structure and functional organisation. Changing easily any term or implementing a new one, we are trying, in fact, to change the system, very often not thinking about consequences. New terms matter cannot be end in itself. Education (enlightenment), obviously is multilevel, hierarchic, complex and developing social system requiring systemic attitude, systemic analysis, systemic research in general – in this case, on the education science terminology aspect. Key words: education terms, usage of terms, education science, definition.

Résumé :
Konstantin Nikolayevich Leontiev was a philosopher of a particular mentality. Aesthetics was the dominant of his work. Love for life, for the world of the beautiful was Leontiev’s fundamental intuition. For the philosopher, the aesthetical criterion was an all-embracing base for assessment of the being. However, the pure aesthetics of nature is not given much attention in his works. Unlike Vladimir Solovyov, Leontiev does not have a single special work devoted to the beauty of nature. In his fiction works, thedescriptions of nature occupy relatively small space. Partly it can be explained by Leontiev’s maximalism and also by his love for antitheses. He does not want to write a lot about the subject which it is impossible, in his opinion, to say something new about. Sometimes the images of nature in Leontiev’s fiction works are symbols of the social being, of his heroes’ inner world. Remarkably, a number of Leontiev’s works begin with landscape descrip-tions. The philosopher evidently prefers dynamically revealing images of the beautiful. In general, this world is impossible for him without the struggle of opposites. The antihumanism of means aimed at sup-porting the blossoming of the being is «counterbalanced» in Leontiev’s aesthetics by the acceptance of their necessity for maintaining the natural variety of the forms and colors of the world. Thus, the socio-anthropological aspects have a special place in Leontiev’s works. They predominate over the aesthetics of nature. The latter is associated with the former. Both are conceived by the philosopher in the context of the cosmic whole.Leontiev writes a lot about the sensory beauty of the world but not about God’s beauty perceived by intellect. He particularly appreciates bright and complicated phenomena of the being.

Résumé :
The article deals with the representation and interaction of the local and global elements in Liepāja poet and professional architect Gunta Šnipke’s poetry writing. The research aims to establish and evaluate the importance of local and global aspects in Šnipke’s poetry creation process by determining the conceptually characteristic ways in the formation of poetic expression. The article particularly emphasizes the phenomenon of memory which reveals the dimension of time in Šnipke’s poetry space, allows to speak not only of the individual but also of the cultural memory by precise emphasis of concrete geographic places, topographic details (showing both the local and global scale) which have directed the author to an observation. The phenomenon of memory reveals the dimension of time and illuminates several levels of individual and collective memory – historical, cultural, autobiographical, feminine. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research includes the viewpoints of feminism theoreticians (Rosi Braidotti, Virginia Woolf and others) on the aspects of mental nomadism in the perspective of gender studies, as well as several aspects of the cultural memory research (works by Aleida Assmann, Marija Semjonova and others). The local and global issues have been researched mostly in Šnipke’s newest poetry collection “Ceļi” (‘Roads’, 2018) concurrently demonstrating the broader context and development process of the poet’s creative activity since the publishing of the first two poetry collections – “…Bērns ienāca…” (‘…A Child Came in…’, 1995), “...Un jūra” (‘…And the Sea”, 2008). The dominant of Šnipke’s poetic expression is a powerful impulse of thought which allows the creation of broader contexts concerning the current events and phenomena, thus expanding the boundaries of experience established by the strict form. The poet’s strong intellect is in a certain confrontation with an equally strong emotional experience. Šnipke’s poetry is characterised not only by the natural union of the intellectual and emotional elements in one poem but also by a successful amalgamation of various important levels – geographical, cultural and historical, social and personal, autobiographical. This feature is soundly used in creating the artistic concept of the poetry collection “Ceļi”. The collection was highly praised by professionals and awarded by several significant literary prizes. Šnipke’s poetry coincides with the current tendencies in the contemporary Latvian poetry process both in content and form; the poetic thought is mostly expressed in expanded and associatively dense syntactic structures. Šnipke’s poetry complies with the feminine poetry tendency to record the history of one’s own family within significant historic events pouring the individual experiences into layers of collective experience. Personal and seemingly insignificant becomes of global importance joining the space of common European memory, the distant and foreign phenomena are made closer and more understandable. In the longer forms, a woman and the feminine language become the main narrators of the past.

Résumé :
The paper presents a comparative legal and comparative historical analysis of one of the aspects of the institution of the arbitration, namely, the election of an arbitrator. The contractual, non-state nature of arbitration leaves the disputing parties with a wide freedom of expression, including in determining the personality of a mediator or intermediaries in resolving a dispute. The paper focuses on identifying the key features that the disputing parties should pay attention to when choosing an arbitrator (judges). The Roman jurists established comprehensive and justified set of personality traits that an arbitrator should possess in order to maintain the general idea of the conclusiveness of judicial decisions. According to the norms of Roman law, an arbitrator must be a free person, physically healthy, with a developed intellect, with life experience, not tainted by immoral acts, not involved in illegal activities, not interested in a certain outcome of the case. In the Middle Ages, the system of mandatory requirements for a mediator in a dispute was reduced due to the simplification of public relations regulated by customary law, which was reflected in legislative documents. Priority was given to the high social stratum, ethnic and religious conformity of the judge to the disputing persons. In modern times, the freedom of litigants to choose arbitrators is almost absolute, taking into account the tendency to individualize the interests of the parties to the conflict and the inability to take into account all the particular circumstances of various disputes that could affect the choice of an arbitrator. Only when resolving economic disputes, the parties were guided by the judge’s special knowledge, which makes it possible to understand the essence of the property dispute and make a fair decision. The analysis made it possible to identify the continuity of the provisions of Roman law and the requirements imposed on the arbitration intermediary in the Middle Ages and Modern times. Historical comparison revealed a tendency to reduce the number of mandatory features of the candidate for arbitration, which determined the growing importance of the freedom of the disputing parties as the most significant feature of the arbitration court.

Résumé :
Children's education consciously guides and guides the condition of the soul, especially so that it can cultivate good morals and habits from the beginning of its growth and development, until it reaches puberty, so that a personality is formed in accordance with educational goals. In order to study the concept of children's education, it is necessary to study the thoughts of previous scholars, because it is undeniable that there have been many contributions made by previous scholars, especially in the world of education. Educational figures who are used as research objects are scholars of interpretation, hadith, ushuluddin, and Arabic, but not much research has been done on the concept of education. The concept of the figure's education is outlined in his books, but the world of education does not recognize him as an educational figure. Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauziyyah, with his characteristics and personality as a knowledgeable person, we will undoubtedly find some hints, views and instructions about education, in addition to his sincerity in discussing various other fields of knowledge. We certainly find advice about the concept of education in the books written by these figures. Therefore it is very interesting if it is discussed more deeply regarding the concept of children's education according to Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauziyyah. The type of research used in collecting data is library research, namely a series of activities related to library data collection methods, reading and recording and processing research materials. There are three important aspects in the concept of children's education according to Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyyah, namely the goals of children's education, children's education materials, and educational methods. In terms of children's education goals, Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyyah explained that the main goal of Islamic education is to grow and develop all of the child's potential, maintain nature, and protect it from deviations and realize the meaning of worship to Allah. In the aspect of children's education material, Ibnu Qayyim revealed that there are seven children's education materials namely Faith Education, Mental Education, Intellect Education, Moral Education, Social Education, Physical Education and Sex Education. In terms of educational methods, Ibn Qayyim explained several methods that can be used in children's education including the habituation method, the exemplary method, the advice method, and the punishment method.
