Résumé :
Based on the strategic management processes, it is particularly necessary to initiate but also develop a connection between CSR integration through a dynamic approach and the social philosophy of management, a systematic analysis of the processes that strategically manage CSR and the socially oriented implementation of the topic strategic integration of CSR. Related to these research topics we need to know closely the strategic management processes that integrate CSR, how they work, what influences strategic change and especially how we can define the management tools used to support the implementation of social management philosophy. In this sense, it is absolutely necessary to initiate a theoretical model that highlights, from an organic point of view but also structurally, the dynamics of the relations supported by the philosophy of social management.

Résumé :
The observed increase in the number of psychological research entails both the expansion and deepening of psychological knowledge, and the escalation of the theoretical and methodological problems of its systematization and practical application. The widely discussed problems of the theoretical foundations and methodology of psychological research, in generalized formulations, are reduced to a statement of the growing fragmentation and searching the foundations of the integration prospects for psychology. At the same time, there are problems that have not yet been given due attention, one of such problems is the conceptualization of the integration and fragmentation dynamics in psychological knowledge. In the proposed conceptualization, the dynamics of the psychological knowledge development occurs in the original studies of the expansion, deployment, narrowing, folding of its structure. From these methodological positions, psychological research is categorized into deepening, fragmenting and integrating. According to the results of the methodological analysis, the ratio of the integration and fragmentation processes types is 1: 3. That is, even in the case of putting forward and starting an integration project in psychology, the coexistence of integrative and fragmented processes is inevitable, with the latter prevailing. If the psychological knowledge integration is carried out by descriptive methodological tools, then the array of fragmented studies will not shrink, and the current ratio of integration and fragmentation studies is unlikely to change. In this scenario, new research will continue with heterogeneous methodological tools, and since systematizing research remains not a priority, the carried out integration of psychological knowledge in terms of its volume will decrease relative to the total volume of studies. A dynamic balancing the integration and fragmentation processes is seen as an acceptable state of psychological knowledge. However, even for achieving it, it is necessary to reach positive integration dynamics at the first stage. The dynamic balance of integration and fragmentation processes can be established at various levels of their correlation – determining a sufficient level will be one of the most pressing issues in the case of implementing an integration project in psychology.

Résumé :
The mixed time integration parallel algorithm for nonlinear dynamic analysis was presented by synthesising the implicit and explicit time integration techniques. The parallel algorithm employing mixed time integration technique was devised with domain decomposition. Concurrency was introduced into this algorithm by integrating interface nodes with explicit time integration technique and solving local subdomains with implicit algorithm. Numerical example was implemented to validate the performance of the parallel algorithm. Numerical studies indicate that the proposed algorithm is superior in performance to the implicit algorithm.

Résumé :
This article investigates knowledge integration in product development projects. While much previous literature draws attention to the need for clearly specified goals, extensive knowledge sharing and close face-to-face interaction for activity and knowledge integration, alternative explanations are offered. The findings highlight the integrative capacity of individuals’ experience and tacit foreknowledge of the stacker artefact, as well as the complementary role of meetings and ad hoc problem solving. The article proposes an iterative model of the individual/collective dynamics involved and calls attention to its economizing potential. More generally, it provides an example of how the issue of knowledge integration may be reformulated into a dynamic perspective, recognizing the intergenerational learning benefits that accrue. The conclusions extend the argument of Zollo and Winter by showing how different task-related learning mechanisms may be combined and obtain their integrative capacity within an iterative process.

Résumé :
ABSTRACT The dynamics of innovation in complex systems industries is becoming an independent research stream. Apart from conventional uncertainties related to commerce and technology, complex-system industries must cope with systemic uncertainty. This paper's objective is to analyze evolving technological paths from one product generation to the next through two case studies in the Brazilian aerospace industry, considering systems integration as an empirical instantiation of dynamic capabilities. A proposed "coupled processes" model intertwines two organizational processes regarded as two levels of dynamic capabilities: new product and technological developments. The model addresses the role of emergent properties in shaping a firm's technological base. Moreover, it uses a technology readiness level to unveil systems integration business tricks and as a decision-making yardstick. The "coupled processes" model is revealed as a set of dynamic capabilities presenting ambidexterity in complex systems industries, a finding that may be relevant for newly industrialized economies.

Résumé :
Zero‐offset reflections resulting from point sources are often computed on a large scale in three‐dimensional (3-D) laterally inhomogeneous isotropic media with the help of ray theory. The geometrical‐spreading factor and the number of caustics that determine the shape of the reflected pulse are then generally obtained by integrating the so‐called dynamic ray‐tracing system down and up to the two‐way normal incidence ray. Assuming that this ray is already known, we show that one integration of the dynamic ray‐tracing system in a downward direction with only the initial condition of a point source at the earth’s surface is in fact sufficient to obtain both results. To establish the Fresnel zone of the zero‐offset reflection upon the reflector requires the same single downward integration. By performing a second downward integration (using the initial conditions of a plane wave at the earth’s surface) the complete Fresnel volume around the two‐way normal ray can be found. This should be known to ascertain the validity of the computed zero‐offset event. A careful analysis of the problem as performed here shows that round‐trip integrations of the dynamic ray‐tracing system following the actually propagating wavefront along the two‐way normal ray need never be considered. In fact some useful quantities related to the two‐way normal ray (e.g., the normal‐moveout velocity) require only one single integration in one specific direction only. Finally, a two‐point ray tracing for normal rays can be derived from one‐way dynamic ray tracing.

Résumé :
To satisfy future computing demands of the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG), opportunistic usage of third-party resources is a promising approach. While the means to make such resources compatible with WLCG requirements are largely satisfied by virtual machines and containers technologies, strategies to acquire and disband many resources from many providers are still a focus of current research. Existing meta-schedulers that manage resources in the WLCG are hitting the limits of their design when tasked to manage heterogeneous resources from many diverse resource providers. To provide opportunistic resources to the WLCG as part of a regular WLCG site, we propose a new meta-scheduling approach suitable for opportunistic, heterogeneous resource provisioning. Instead of anticipating future resource requirements, our approach observes resource usage and promotes well-used resources. Following this approach, we have developed an inherently robust meta-scheduler, COBalD, for managing diverse, heterogeneous resources given unpredictable resource requirements. This paper explains the key concepts of our approach, and discusses the benefits and limitations of our new approach to dynamic resource provisioning compared to previous approaches.

Résumé :
This paper investigates an alternative finite-difference time-integration procedure in structural dynamics. The integral form of the equation of motion, instead of the differential form, is used to develop the finite-difference time-integration method. An expression called dynamic condensation is presented to relate the dynamic response and unknown force at a limited number of degrees of freedom. A stable and accurate method of analysis is derived to determine the transient loads of structural components in a structural system without constructing the system equation of motion.

Résumé :
Data integration is a combination of techniques and businesses that are used to collect data from different sources into useful and valuable information ETL process that includes extracting data from various data sources, transforming data to form and calculate data and load data on target storage, to support data warehouse need. Based on organizations and industries that have implemented data warehouse, the problem that generally arises regarding data load is the difficulty in integrating different data sources, how to form data from various data formats into uniform data, how to integrate data delta between data sources and target storage in an incremental load process so that this data synchronization process can be carried out continuously and relatively faster. ETL process requires a platform that can facilitate data integration needs, in order to run this process. SSIS (SQL Server Integration Service) is a Data Integration platform to build an enterprise-level data integration and solutions for data transformation. Integration Service can extract and change data (transform) from various sources such as XML data files, flat files, APIs, and relational data sources, and then load into one or several destination data. According to the problem related to data load, we will examine how the solution model uses SSIS for the ETL process. This paper proposed an ETL Architecture model by completing the ETL process for full & incremental load extraction and the original data layer.

Résumé :
It is worthwhile to design a more accurate dynamic model for air springs, to investigate the dynamic behaviour of an air spring suspension, and to analyse and guide the design of vehicles with air spring suspensions. In this study, a dynamic model of air spring was established, considering the heat transfer process of the air springs. Two different types of air spring were tested, and the experimental results verified the effectiveness of the air spring model compared with the traditional model. The key factors affecting the computation accuracy were studied and checked by comparing the results of the experiments and simulations. The new dynamic model of the air spring was integrated into the full-vehicle multi-body dynamics model, in order to investigate the air suspension behaviour and vehicle dynamics characteristics. The co-simulation method using ADAMS and MATLAB/Simulink was applied to integration of the air spring model with the full-vehicle multi-body dynamics model.

Résumé :
The goal of this paper is to recognize the dynamics of financial integration across the European stock markets over the last two decades. We investigate two groups of markets: (1) three developed European markets in the U.K., France, and Germany; and (2) three emerging Central and Eastern European markets in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary (CEE–3). The evolution of the integration process is analyzed using a dynamic principal component approach. The index of integration serves as a robust measure of integration. The empirical results reveal that the dynamics of integration across the whole group of markets increased significantly following the CEEC–3’s accession to the European Union. An inverted U‑shape in the index of integration has been found in this case. Moreover, the average index of integration was significantly different during the Global Financial Crisis compared to the pre‑crisis period.

Résumé :
Integration host factor (IHF) is a nucleoid-associated protein involved in DNA packaging, integration of viral DNA and recombination. IHF binds with nanomolar affinity to duplex DNA containing a 13 bp consensus sequence, inducing a bend of ~160° upon binding. We determined that IHF binds to DNA Four-way or Holliday junctions (HJ) with high affinity regardless of the presence of the consensus sequence, signifying a structure-based mechanism of recognition. Junctions, important intermediates in DNA repair and homologous recombination, are dynamic and can adopt either an open or stacked conformation, where the open conformation facilitates branch migration and strand exchange. Using ensemble and single molecule Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) methods, we investigated IHF-induced changes in the population distribution of junction conformations and determined that IHF binding shifts the population to the open conformation. Further analysis of smFRET dynamics revealed that even in the presence of protein, the junctions remain dynamic as fast transitions are observed for the protein-bound open state. Protein binding alters junction conformational dynamics, as cross correlation analyses reveal the protein slows the transition rate at 1 mM Mg2+ but accelerates the transition rate at 10 mM Mg2+. Stopped flow kinetic experiments provide evidence for two binding steps, a rapid, initial binding step followed by a slower step potentially associated with a conformational change. These measurements also confirm that the protein remains bound to the junction during the conformer transitions and further suggest that the protein forms a partially dissociated state that allows junction arms to be dynamic. These findings, which demonstrate that IHF binds HJs with high affinity and stabilizes junctions in the open conformation, suggest that IHF may play multiple roles in the processes of integration and recombination in addition to stabilizing bacterial biofilms.

Résumé :
Commutator free method is an effective method for solving rotating integration. Numerical examples show that the use of the proposed combining method can achieve the same order accuracy with less computation than other geometry integration method. However, it is difficult to be directly applied to mechanic dynamics solutions. In this paper, commutator free method which is often applied to rotation integration and classical Runge–Kutta (RK) method which is usually operated in Linear space are combined to solve the multi-body dynamic equations. The explicit Runge–Kutta coefficients are reconstructed to meet different order accuracy integration methods. The reconstruction method is discussed and coefficients are given. With this method, the dynamic equations can be solved accurately and economically without much modification on the classical numerical integration. Moreover, CG method and CF method can also be combined with adaptive RK method without many changes. Finally, the results of the examples show that with less computation, fourth-order combining method is as accurate as fourth-order Crouch–Grossman algorithm.

Résumé :
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to understand how a continuous improvement (CI) approach like lean production (LP) integration is affected by dynamic conditions and to propose how LP integration can be adaptable to dynamic conditions. Design/methodology/approach A longitudinal case study has been conducted in which data were collected through participative observations, observations, documents and an in-depth semi-structured interview. Findings The adaptability is related to the maturity level of the LP integration, where more mature organisations are better equipped to deal with the challenges occurring due to their learning and experimentation capabilities. The main problem is that the LP integration needs to be adapted, like compromising with just-in-time. This creates challenges to more immature organisations; they do not seem to be able to adapt the LP integration since the skills are lacking. Research limitations/implications The research limitations are associated with the research design and therefore might limit generalisation of the context studied. Practical implications The management needs to stay focused on the LP integration to continue building CI capability. There is a need to adapt the LP concept, which includes assessing how proposed changes and the LP concept interact in order to make them reinforce each other. This involves creating guidelines concerning adaptation and facilitating a transition from mainly single-loop learning to double-loop learning. Originality/value This paper contributes by describing challenges that have an impact on LP integration and related organisational adaptability under dynamic conditions.

Résumé :
Requirements for warranted identification of 'emergence' of new entities in nonlinear chemical dynamic systems are considered in terms of developments in both chemistry and in philosophy. In particular, a recently reported example of emergence of coherence in a set of electrochemical oscillators is examined. The philosophical theory of 'response dependence,' proposed as a 'third way' in the realist-antirealist controversy, and a contemporary discussion of the concept of substance are also employed. The conclusion is reached that when a set of chemical reactions achieves such closure as to generate persistent and interactive coherence (such as a limit cycle or strange attractor), properties of a test entity are altered. To the extent that this can be shown to be the case, it is appropriate to consider that a novel (emergent) entity has come into existence. Existence of the limit cycle brings about major changes in the levels (concentrations) of reactants that generate that cycle. Emergent entities of the type discussed in this paper are not adequately dealt with by the standard philosophical theory of wholes and part ('mereology'). That theory should be extended or modified.
