Khattabi, Mohamed Aissam. « Les clusters, innovation et développement territorial ». Thesis, Lille 1, 2012. http://www.theses.fr/2012LIL12007.
Texte intégralThe purpose of this work is to clarify firstly the theoretical evolution of clusters since the nineteenth (Marshallian District) to today's clusters, French competitiveness clusters, and secondly, to study the characteristics, determinants and clusters effects in general without neglecting or forgetting to treat the practical side of clusters in the world (France, USA, Japan, South Korea and India). Thus, practice shows that there are links and reciprocal interdependencies between clusters and innovation. To this end, we infer that clusters constitute the ecosystem, the environment and the most conducive organization for innovation, due to effects of cross proximities that clusters gather and social capital created and developed within, between clusters stakeholders. From there, we understand that the clusters act or have an effect on their implantation territory due to all of the elements (proximities, innovations, social capital ...), stakeholders and local actors they assemble. Thus, they impact the territorial development in a global way, and the competitiveness and territorial attractiveness in particular ; all this in an endogenous or exogenous way. In other words, territorial development by the clusters is based on "glocal" resources, i.e. they have endogenous and exogenous origin at the same time

Innovation plays importance in business enterprises, comprises different aspects and contributes in different ways to their growth and development. Among the aspects that can be considered for the innovations are the internal aspects related to the context of the organization and external aspects that involve the whole environment in which the organization operates. It is believed that these aspects influence both the decision for the development of innovations in the application for product or process innovation in the market. This study aimed to identify how and why innovations emerge in the productive chain of Brazilian apples and what the results obtained from the innovations implemented in the sectors producing and packing houses. The methodological procedures have employed as a research strategy case study, which was effected by means of qualitative and quantitative approaches to research. In relation to the objectives the study had an exploratory, descriptive and explanatory. The qualitative analysis was performed through exploratory research with experts in the productive chain of Brazilian apples to identify innovations that have been implemented and also to classify them according to the chain ring tetralogical. Among the main results emphasize the identification of aspects that compose the framework and provided a guideline for conducting qualitative research. Also noteworthy is the chain obtained among those identified empirically and the junction with the theories used, in particular the assumptions of Edgar Morin, by complexity theory. The quantitative stage was effected through the statistical method, by means of factor analysis, which analysis showed identification results show that the innovations to the social, economic, organizational, political and market in the sample of producers and packing-houses of the production chain Brazilian apple defined for this investigation. The quantitative analysis deserves the presentation through descriptive statistics of the characterization of the samples, as well as the processes of innovation that each sample has implemented. A factor analysis of the presentation highlighted variables for each factor in the four samples (producers and packing houses of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul) individually and for the entire chain including the four samples. Through multiple regression analysis identified the perception of the impact of innovations for the entire production chain of Brazilian apples, including growers and packing houses in the states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul.

Texte intégralWhat are the frames to which authors inspired by the comics legacy refer inthe digital environment, characterized by the convergence of media and discursive forms ? How do they refer to such frames in order to make sense and to tell digital stories from which readers are able to share the standards of translation, find routines for their interpretation, and feel entertained by the selection and the arrangement of events ? After setting the context in which emerged the first accounts identified as « original digital comics », the study focuses on the indexical analysis of interviews with authors and readers of two such stories. The analysis reveals the originality of the frames arrangements made by the authors and recognized by their readers. This study shows the importance of sensemaking activities for the invention and adoption of new narrative forms. The critical review of this work raises several methodological issues, particularly regarding the place of the scientist as an actor engaged in the sensemaking activity, but also about the the importance given to words in this kind of researches, and finally about the appropriate interview methods in order to find and explain indexical marks leading to the actors' frames

This research attempts to explain how local puppet show troupes can develop sustainable competitiveness through cultural production innovation and international expansion. We purposely conduct case studies of two outstandingly innovative cultural organizations in Taiwan, namely the PiLi International Multimedia Corporation and the Taiyuan Puppet Theatre Company, both are renowned for hand puppetry. Based on our exploratory study and the analytic induction approach for data analysis, we achieved four research aims of Taiwanese typical puppet show troupes. The first purpose of the dissertation is to develop explanatory models to examine patterns of cultural production in the globalization context. Our analyses lead us to postulate a conceptual framework of cultural production innovation and the factors with special reference to the technology factors, organization factors, market characteristics and the individual factors. Because of the paucity of studies on the cultural production innovation model, we identified four dimensions and induced some cultural production patterns. While the puppetry troupes expand globally, the cultural content/ text should be reconciled in the globalization context, and more interesting we apply business globalization strategy and conflict management strategy to explain this phenomenon. The second purpose of the dissertation is to identify and determine crucial dynamic capabilities that associate to aspects of sustainable competitive development for firm’s cultural production innovation. This research identifies six dynamic capabilities and their resource-based nature as an important basis for cultural production innovation. Our case study also shows that technology-based FSAs help local cultural corporations globalize their businesses. The third purpose of the dissertation is to identify and determine crucial factors that associate to aspects of sustainable competitive development for firm’s international expansion. An important finding of the study is that international expansion presents cultural organizations with a tension between technology related factors, organization factors (e.g. dynamic capabilities, global competencies and network relationship etc.), environmental characteristics and individual factors (e.g. entrepreneurial attitude, business successor etc.). There are two global expansion paths that local cultural organizations can use to increase sustainable competitive development. The last purpose of the dissertation is to identify the relationship between cultural firm’s cultural production innovation and international expansion. Due to the high environmental dynamism and competitiveness, the international expansion of the puppet enterprises is the result of cultural production innovation. The research provides a good, interdisciplinary starting point for combining and integrating among these research fields, i.e. resource-based theory, innovation theory and international business (IB) theory. Several proposed models of ‘survival’ or ‘from local to global’ have been developed in coping with global market dynamics. Another concern is with developing understanding about the relationships between international expansion of cultural enterprises and cultural production innovation. From our findings, we concluded that puppet show troupe proceed the cultural production innovation to expand globally and enhance the cultural content adaptation to foreign customers. Future research comparing the innovation strategies of new and traditional companies would also yield useful knowledge.
