Résumé :
Art, in a way, is a form of communication, which allows the artist to express their view to the world, show their interpretation and let others see the world through the eyes of the artist. Calendars are the most popular and long-term means of advertising, which is why their design requires a lot of attention. It is important that it does not only look good, but also provides information, fulfils the function of a promotional souvenir and creates an image throughout the entire year ahead. Graphic design is a form of visual communication whose purpose is to solve visual and graphic problems using artistic approaches provided by typography, different printing technologies, or image processing techniques, mechanical or analogue methods, or digital, with the aim to create a graphic design work or solve a graphic problem. Graphic design is more like a visual intermediary between the message and its recipient and a way of delivering the message to the recipient. The Aim of the Article: study graphics as the dominant feature of art in the design of calendars created by modern Latvian artists and analyse expert interviews to find out the opinions of specialists in the field about the significance of the content and design of artistic calendars nowadays. The research results were obtained using theoretical research methods: the study, analysis and evaluation of scientific and journalistic literature and Internet sources, which reveals the essence of the problem in question; expert interviews were carried out as well, which are empirical research methods.

Taoism is the purest native religious sect in China, and one of the most representative aspects of Taoist culture is graphic art. In this paper, we trace and analyze the origin of Taoist culture and art, and summarize its characteristics; from the aesthetic perspective, we classify Taoist graphic art by subject matter, analyze the classic patterns of Taoist graphics, and summarize their artistic meanings and connotations, and then express the aesthetic implications of Taoist graphics; from the perspective of the development and use of graphics, we first analyze the use of Taoist graphics in modern clothing, and propose the concept of pattern From the perspective of the development and application of graphics, we first analyze the use of Taoist graphics in modern clothing, and put forward the concept of secondary design for traditional Taoist graphics, and then make creative use of pattern design in clothing design.

The article tells about the art of gravure, which is a part of the art of graphic, as well as about artists who have devoted themselves to the study of this type of art and the study of aspects of this area of fine art, as well as the study of art in the works of these artists. For a deeper understanding of graphic arts, visual material is needed. Gravure in the field of graphics occupies one of the main positions in the visual arts. With the help of this simple black-and-white graphic, artists achieve mastery by depicting and expressing what they saw in life in their works, and in doing so they develop fine arts. The article also says that gravure has specific features as one of the types of production activity, a unique way of creative activity.

Résumé :
AbstractInkjet print heads have become the dominant printing element for home and office printers; they have been a key driver forthe digitization of wide-format graphic arts printing and other printing areas as diverse as addressing and carton coding. In the past few years, inkjet print heads have begun to have an impact in areas outside the graphics arts. In these applications, the inkjet print head may be considered a manufacturing tool; this implies that it will differ in design depending on the application. Also, standards forreliability, consistency, and dependability will differ from those in graphic arts areas. Even though non-graphic-arts applications differ widely in their details, there are general considerations in terms of the systems that are required. Each nontraditional application has specific goals for manufacturing, and a unique inkjet print head designed to meet these goals may be required. This article focuses on a specific piezo-based inkjet print head that has been engineered to meet the manufacturing requirements for flat-panel displays basedon light-emitting polymeric materials.

Résumé :
This is the documentation of my creative project in which the design was a museum of graphic arts with other supporting facilities including a forum, a cafeteria, a library. The project is composed of two major parts. The first one is the research on the contemporary museum design which is the concrete results of the study on current knowledge and interpretation of the orientation and meaning of contemporary museum architecture, together with the research on the theory of point, line, plane- the primary elements of architectural form and space. The second part is a design project, " A Museum of Graphic Arts", which is set up as a framework for the study, theoretical exploration and, the most important of all, as an interpretation of understanding and a synthesis of the research in the first part.

Résumé :
The purpose of the article is to determine the artistic and graphic peculiarities of the Franco-Belgian exhibition poster of the 1890s in the context of the formation of the Art Nouveau style. The research methodology of the work is based on the use of traditional art methods: historical and cultural, reconstructive and model, historical and attributive, which contributed to the revealing of artistic and graphic transformations in the field of Franco-Belgian spectacular poster. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the author’s artistic interpretation of the stylistic manner of the creators of the spectacular poster in “style floreale” as one of the leading directions of the development of the artistic style of that period. The distinctive features of this type of the artistic work are outlined on the basis of the review of the stylistic and image transformations of exhibition posters of the famous artists – J. Chéret, A. Toulouse-Lautrec, E. Grasset, A. Mucha, A. Privat-Livemont and others. Attention is focused on the identification of the presentation features of the advertised exhibition events as an important cultural events of that time. Means of artistic visualization of information are studied taking into consideration the specific nature of the poster. Conclusions. In the general cultural and historical context of that time, the poster has become a significant component of the formation of national trends in the artistic style of the day, in particular - the Franco-Belgian Art Nouveau style. The exhibition poster, reflecting the stylistic landmarks of the time, contributed to the formation of the artistic vision as a manifestation of the cultural and artistic landmarks of the studied period.

Résumé :
As an emerging field, Automated Machine Learning (AutoML) aims to reduce or eliminate manual operations that require expertise in machine learning. In this paper, a graph-based architecture is employed to represent flexible combinations of ML models, which provides a large searching space compared to tree-based and stacking-based architectures. Based on this, an evolutionary algorithm is proposed to search for the best architecture, where the mutation and heredity operators are the key for architecture evolution. With Bayesian hyper-parameter optimization, the proposed approach can automate the workflow of machine learning. On the PMLB dataset, the proposed approach shows the state-of-the-art performance compared with TPOT, Autostacker, and auto-sklearn. Some of the optimized models are with complex structures which are difficult to obtain in manual design.

Résumé :
The article is devoted to actual problem of using modern ICT tools to increase the level of efficiency of the educational process. The current state and relevance of the use of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies as an appropriate means of improving the educational process are considered. In particular, attention is paid to the potential of the combined capabilities of AR and VR technologies with adaptive learning systems. Insufficient elaboration of cross-use opportunities for achieving of efficiency of the educational process in state-of-the-art research has been identified. Based on analysis of latest publications and experience of using of augmented and virtual reality technologies, as well as the concept of adaptive learning, conceptual model of learning based on the combined capabilities of AR and VR technologies with adaptive learning systems has been designed. The use of VR and AR technologies as a special information environment is justified, which is applied in accordance with the identified dominant type of students' thinking. The prospects of using the proposed model in training process at educational institutions for the implementation and support of new teaching and learning strategies, as well as improving learning outcomes are determined by the example of such courses as “Algorithms and data structures”, “Computer graphics and three-dimensional modeling”, “Circuit Engineering”, “Computer Architecture”.
