Résumé :
The main objective of this research is to identify the problems faced in marketing and sales of industrial flooring products in speciality flooring chemicals industries. The major problems that was noticed here was that industries that use flooring stick to existing supplier or purchasing from supplier who are already in market. Understanding this problem for new entrants, a strategy was developed for marketing to overcome the obstacle faced by new industrial flooring companies. To indentify further details on this, a survey was conducted mostly among industries and few restaurants to come to a conclusion on the decision factor for strategy and analysed responses highlighted the reason for not using and also why do they stick to existing supplier if they are using industrial flooring. The suggestion that has been made in this report is use of an effective search engine optimization strategy (SEO) will increase the web traffic to 50% of those who use the internet these days for such purpose. Once this done next is to implement social sales that is educate, social network and engage which can be used to make them aware about the necessity of industrial flooring which increases sales by almost 40%. All these plans may be different in names by they come under the concept of Account Based Marketing (ABMs) which is developing and effective marketing strategy that has constructive impact on company’s revenue.

Résumé :
Blind consumption discovered in the real application of flooring does not produce the visually anticipated impression, leading to additional time costs and stone flooring waste. Consumers cannot clearly articulate their visual imaging needs when purchasing stone flooring. Due to consumers’ lack of understanding of the visual imagery style of decorative stone flooring, manufacturers are unable to produce more visual styles of stone flooring in response to consumer demand, which leads to an unorganized production process and the wasting of stone resources. Additionally, manufacturers are unable to receive feedback on market demand, which makes communication links between sales teams difficult. A total of 40 adjectives were considered the most appropriate in a pool of 110 adjectives for the visual imagery evaluation of stone after ten interior design professionals with experience in decorative stone applications had narrowed the selection. Following this, a general consumer semantic difference method questionnaire survey and questionnaire data factor analysis statistics were used to create 10 sets of visual imagery adjectives for marble flooring, which were then divided into 10 different types of marble flooring. Following the computer simulation drawing with the 10 groups of visual imagery adjectives design questionnaire, the consumers completed the visual imagery evaluation questionnaire survey. They received a 304-question valid questionnaire, and using the triangular fuzzy number operation in fuzzy theory, they arrived at 10 marble floors in the visual imagery evaluation score. In order to clarify the current consumer demand for stone floor imagery, the high sales volume of stone flooring on the market for visual style division, which can guide consumers according to their visual needs for an efficient choice, can enhance the efficiency of communication between consumers and sellers. It can also help enterprises clarify the market consumer demand for orderly production to achieve the purpose of green consumption and to ensure the sustainable development of the decorative stone flooring market.

Résumé :
Circular economy production, or upcycling of traditional waste products, has evolved in alignment with consumer driven accountability and demand for environmentally friendly alternatives. In recent years, industries have emerged to upcycle materials for value-added production. This paper presents case study interview results used to gather information about current marketing practices within the urban and reclaimed wood industries, which upcycles trees felled in urban areas and wood generated through construction and demolition. Firms reported entering the industry for a variety of reasons, most frequently surrounding intangible raw material and product attributes. Interviewees reported generating primarily made-to-order products, made-to-stock furniture, mantels, slabs, lumber, beams, flooring, millwork, and other products priced largely in line with their competition. Promotion consisted primarily of word of mouth, company webpages, social media, and event participation, such as craft fairs or trade shows. Firms relayed messages of sustainability, local production, quality, and emotional value. Companies primarily participate in direct, retail, or online sales, which have become increasingly prevalent. This paper outlines opportunities to explore, as well as barriers to overcome through examination of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats present in the internal and external environments of the urban and reclaimed wood industries.

Résumé :
Abstract Sales of certified organic pork continue to increase, and an increasing number of young farmers are looking to rear hogs with organic or other niche labeling claims that require outdoor access. There is limited research available to support pastured pork operations in developing best management practices for rearing pigs in outdoor environments. The goal of this study was to evaluate the impact of housing on swine performance and pork quality and to build best management strategies for raising hogs on pasture. Pigs (n = 50) from the same sire and farrowing cohort were obtained from 10 separate litters. Pigs were grouped into separate treatments according to average body weights (BW) with equal sex rations among both groups: Indoor (n = 25), and Outdoor (n = 25), with 5 hogs per pen within each treatment. The Indoor groups were housed on 7m2 of solid concrete flooring in a ventilation-controlled barn; the Outdoor groups were housed on native grass pasture with pen size being 23m2, and a third shaded with 40% shade cloth. Outdoor pens were rotated to new grass every 14 days to manage soil destruction, while Indoor pigs remained in original pens for the duration of the project. Water access was provided via a nipple drinker system and fed a standard grow-finish ration ad libitum for both groups. All pigs were slaughtered at 26 weeks of age, with the Indoor group averaging BW of 126kg, and the Outdoor group averaging BW of 111kg (P < 0.05). Hot carcass weights were also larger (P < 0.001) of the Indoor group. All pork quality measurements were taken at the 10th rib. Color and marbling scores were not shown to vary between the treatment groups (P ≥ 0.17). Colorimeter values (L*, A*, B*) were similar across treatments as well (P ≥ 0.41). However, loin eye area exhibited a trend with the Outdoor group having a smaller average size (P = 0.07) In addition to this, pH values were also shown to vary at 0h (P = 0.03), 6h (P = 0.01), and 24h (P < 0.01) postmortem, with the Indoor group having the higher ultimate pH. Based on these data, pasture reduced final market size and loin eye area of hogs, but not overall pork quality. Although pH was reduced for the Outdoor group, no values showed a rapid decline in pH that would indicate a PSE pork product. Further, average pH between treatments were within 0.2 at all sampling times. Further research is needed to evaluate efficacy of best management practices to improve efficiency of pig growth rate on pasture and to ensure that pork quality will not be reduced.

Résumé :
The green transformation and upgrading of manufacturing enterprises cannot do without the support of green investment. The purpose of this study is to verify whether there is a correlation between the influencing factors of green investment of manufacturing enterprises and the growth of enterprises, and what the correlation degree is. The research methods are about that two listed companies of wood flooring industries, energy consumption per unit of production (only Daya Shengxiang’s data as reference), the proportion of technical personnel, enterprise support funds, the amount of invention patents and patent applications with the annual sales of their main products is more than 0.6 and the correlation of the two is stronger. Research conclusion is expected that the influencing factors of green investment of manufacturing enterprises have a positive effect on the growth of the two manufacturing enterprises.

Résumé :
This paper focuses on the impact of goods & service tax on the exports of Indian carpets & floorings industry. The GST has not only provided full set off for input tax but also abolished the burden of several existing taxes viz Central Excise Tax, VAT/Sales Tax, Service tax etc. There are many ambiguities about the post GST implementation effect. This study is an attempt to find out the significant impact of GST on the average exports of Carpets & floorings industry for Pre & post two consecutive years. Paired t-test analysis is applied on the data using SPSS Software and results are derived. It is crucial to find out the potentiality and practicability of the transition from VAT to GST (Goods and Service tax). Hence, this study assumes greater significance for academicians and policymakers.
