Background:Despite earlier diagnosis and improved management of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs), a work participation gap remains when compared to the general population. To bridge this work participation gap, EULAR’s current strategy states that ‘by 2023, EULAR’s activities and related advocacy will have increased participation in work by people with RMDs’. To achieve this goal, guidance is needed how to support people with RMDs to remain in paid work or (re)-enter the labour force. Objectives:To develop Points to Consider (PtC) when supporting people with RMD to participate in healthy and sustainable paid work. Methods:An international expert group, established by Eular in 2019, convened twice to agree on a protocol for the development of PtC. EULAR’s standard operating procedures were followed. The group (a) defined the target audience, (b) identified areas from which knowledge should be derived to enable formulation of the PtC, (c) agreed on a strategy to collect evidence, (d) established an international taskforce to formulate and agree on the PtC, and (e) proposed an implementation plan. Results:The target audience are professionals involved in clinical care for patients with RMDs as well as their organisations, persons with RMDs and their organisations, and administrators responsible for healthcare and work policies. Six knowledge areas are identified (Table). Depending on the specific knowledge area, strategies for collecting evidence comprise synthesis of published and grey literature, surveys among various organisations and collection of case studies from employers. Whenever evidence in RMDs is limited, evidence from other chronic diseases will be sought. The international taskforce includes experts from different disciplines in rheumatology (one in other chronic diseases), EU policy makers, and representatives of PARE, HCP, EULAR Public Affairs and EMEUNET. As part of the implementation, close cooperation with national professional and patients societies is planned. Additionally, results will be included in EULAR‘s activities at the EU policy level.Table 1.Knowledge areas and strategy to retrieve evidenceIn persons with RMDs:Sources of evidence1Is work relevant for the clinical outcome of diseaseLR; Review of managament recommendations and Care Standards2What are barriers and facilitators to enter or stay in the labor forceSLR3What is the effectiveness of interventions to enter or stay in the labor forceSLR; Survey among professional and patient organisations4Which social security systems are more effective when entering or staying in the labor forceLR5How does disease influence the cycle of workSLR; Grey literature6What (not) to do by employers to let patients enter or stay in the work forceSLR; Survey among large companies; case studiesLR: Literature review; SLR: Systematic literature reviewConclusion:The proposed initiative to develop PtC should ultimately result in improvement of healthy and sustainable labor force participation of people with RMDs.Disclosure of Interests:Annelies Boonen Grant/research support from: Abbvie, Suzanne Verstappen: None declared, Maarten Butink: None declared, Casper Webers: None declared, Neil Betteridge: None declared, Tanja Stamm: None declared, Dieter Wiek: None declared, Anthony Woolf: None declared, Gerd Rüdiger Burmester: None declared, Hans Bijlsma: None declared

Background:The EULAR-ACR 2019 (EULAR19) classification criteria for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) were developed to improve the sensitivity and specificity of previous criteria. Notably, both the EULAR19 and existing SLICC-SLE 2012 (SLICC12) criteria can classify patients as having SLE by the presence of immunology and haematological abnormalities in the absence of any signs or symptoms. Objectives:To validate the EULAR19 criteria, with comparison to existing criteria, in a large cohort of patients with an established systemic autoimmune rheumatic disease (SARD).Methods:We recruited 227 adult patients who were ANA positive with ≥1 clinical feature suggestive of a SARD, from three hospitals in the North West of England. Clinician diagnosis was used as gold standard; we then applied the EULAR19, SLICC12 and the ACR-SLE 1997 (ACR97) criteria. Results:Of the 227 patients recruited, by clinician diagnosis, 89 patients (36%) had SLE, 43 (17%) primary Sjögren’s (pSS), 62 (25%) undifferentiated CTD (UCTD), 25 (10%) systemic sclerosis (SSc) and 8 (3%) an inflammatory myositis. The characteristics of these patients and the breakdown of the EULAR19 criteria are outlined in figure 1.Figure 1.Baseline characteristics and classification criteria compared across five SARD diagnoses. The sensitivity and specificity of the EULAR19 is similar to ACR97 (sensitivity 84% (95% CI 75-91%) vs. 87% (95% CI 78-93%) and specificity 78% (95% CI 70-84%) vs. 76% (95% CI 68-83%) respectively). The SLICC12 criteria by contrast are more sensitive (94% (95% CI 87-98%)) and less specific (61% (95% CI 52-69%)) in this cohort.Figure 2 illustrates patients with a clinician diagnosis of SLE or UCTD who meet each of the classification criteria. Of the 89 patients with a clinician diagnosis of SLE, 39 (44%) patients would have sufficient points to meet EULAR19 criteria on blood test results alone in the absence of clinical symptoms. Four pSS patients and 4 UCTD patients would also meet EULAR19 criteria from positive blood results alone.Figure 2.Venn diagrams illustrating patients with SLE and UCTD who meet the EULAR19, ACR97 and SLICC12 classification criteria. No criteria refers to the patients not meeting any of the three SLE classification criteria. Conclusion:These results suggest that the EULAR19 criteria perform comparably to the ACR97 criteria when applied to an established cohort of SARDs. Similar to SLICC12, it is possible to classify patients as having SLE using the EULAR19 criteria by haematological and other laboratory tests. To what extent haematological abnormalities can be potentially used as the sole ‘clinical criteria’ needs consideration.SLE n=89pSS n=43UCTD n=62SSc n=25Myositis n=8Female N (%)82 (92)42 (98)53 (85)24 (96)8 (100)Age, mean (SD) /years44 (13)52 (12)47 (13)60 (9)53 (7)Disease duration, mean (SD) /years12 (10)6 (5)5 (7)9 (11)3 (3)SLE classification criteriaEULAR SLE 2019, N (%)75 (84)10 (23)20 (32)1 (4)0ACR SLE 1997, N (%)77 (87)9 (21)21 (34)2 (8)1 (13)SLICC SLE 2012, N (%)84 (94)15 (35)33 (53)4 (16)2 (25)EULAR-ACR 2019 criteriaConstitutional, N (%)10 (11)2 (5)1 (2)01 (13)Neuropsychiatric, N (%)3 (3)01 (2)1 (4)0Mucocutaneous, N (%)71 (80)13 (30)27 (44)2 (8)2 (25)Serosal, N (%)13 (15)1 (2)2 (3)00Musculoskeletal, N (%)52 (58)14 (33)22 (35)3 (12)3 (38)Renal, N (%)30 (34)001 (4)0Haematological, N (%)44 (49)12 (28)10 (16)3 (12)0Antiphospholipid antibodies, N (%)43 (48)7 (16)17 (27)4 (16)0Low complement, N (%)48 (54)10 (23)10 (16)3 (12)1 (13)Anti-Sm, N (%)19 (21)2 (5)4 (6)1 (4)0Anti-dsDNA, N (%)50 (56)8 (19)12 (19)01 (13)Disclosure of Interests:Sarah Dyball: None declared, John Reynolds: None declared, Eoghan McCarthy: None declared, Sahena Haque: None declared, Ariane Herrick: None declared, Hector Chinoy: None declared, Ellen Bruce: None declared, Ben Parker Grant/research support from: GSK and Sanofi Genzyme, Consultant of: GSK, AstraZenaca, UCV, Abbvie, Pfizer, BMS, Celltrion, Ian N. Résumé :
In the early 19th century, a series of reformist movements arose in Europe. They were based on "The Enlightenment" theories trying to find solutions to the problems caused by the Industrial Revolution. The group which had the greatest repercussion was the Utopian Socialism. Their ideologists proposed the creation of new settlements to be located far away from the corruption and chaos of the big cities, where a new moral economic system could be established. These philanthropists would act as a paternalistic figure for their workers. As for Spain, its precarious political and economic situation hindered a theoretical development similar to the rest of European countries. However, foreign Utopian ideas would influence greatly the first Spanish agricultural colonization laws, intended to repopulate Spain's countryside. Many colonies or villages of urban and architectural interest were created throughout the country. Although, to begin with these places would concentrate on agricultural production, laws allowed for any other types of industrial activity. This Doctoral Thesis focuses on the analysis of the agroindustrial Colony of Santa Eulalia, situated between the towns of Sax and Villena, in Alicante. It is a fine example of industrial and interior colonization from the end of the 19th century in the Valencian Community and still today maintains its original appearance. This exceptional village was created by Antonio de Padua y Saavedra in 1886. It operated self-sufficiently for several decades since its produce was gathered from its lands, prepared and commercialized in its own flour and alcohol factories and oil mill. The colony also had a chapel, the owners' mansion house, the workers housing and various stores and leisure facilities. Nowadays, its advanced state of deterioration and neglect could lead to the loss of this heritage site. Thus, the reason why this work includes an initial assessment for its restoration and enhancement of its value by reusing its buildings and revitalizing its surroundings. All of the aforementioned could be used as a starting point for future projects that would guarantee its preservation.

Santa Eulalia contains two separate, contrasting Pb-Zn-Ag deposits. The East Camp consists of a symmetrically zoned calc-silicate skarn with distal sulfide and tin-bearing orebodies; whereas the west Camp is composed of massive sulfide orebodies with minor proximal calc-silicate skarn and isolated intermediate calcic-iron skarns. Mineralization and alteration are zoned within each camp but do not overlap. Sulfide mineralization in both camps consists of pyrrhotite, sphalerite, galena, and pyrite with lesser amounts of arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite. The East Camp is apparently richer in zinc and copper than the West camp. Mineralization is temporally and spatially related to geochemically identical felsite intrusions which apparently have a common source. Mineralizing fluids followed these felsites through a thick section of evaporites and organic-rich shaly limestones into clean, homogeneous, relatively undeformed, limestone hosts. West Camp mineralization occurs along an interconnected network of vertically discontinuous tight fissures and sill contacts, whereas East Camp mineralization is located along vertically throughgoing faults and dike contacts. strata-bound, but not stratiform, mantos extend off discordant chimneys in both camps. Ore textures reveal that mineralization occurred primarily by limestone replacement. 21 Pressure-corrected primary fluid inclusion homogenization temperatures in fluorite range from 220 to 490 deg. C. Salinities are bimodal with high-salinity (>26.3 equivalent wt% NaCl) and low-salinity (1-12 equivalent wt% NaCl) populations. Mineralogical constraints indicate that the hydrothermal fluids were acid and reduced. Sulfur isotope analyses indicate that the ore fluids varied from -17 to +4 permil without correlation to iron-sulfide species, temperature, or salinity. Co-existing sulfides are commonly in isotopic disequilibrium. Sulfur isotopes from the West Camp are crudely zoned, but no consistent patterns exist in the East Camp. Oxygen and carbon isotope analyses of limestone wallrocks reveal a distinct isotopic alteration halo. A single analysis of gangue calcite from each camp indicates that the ore fluids contained non-carbonate-derived carbon and oxygen, possibly of magmatic origin. Metals were apparently transported as chloride complexes and deposited through coupled dissolution-precipitation replacement reactions. Most ore sulfur apparently came from diagenetic pyrite and sedimentary anhydrite, but some of the sulfur may have had a magmatic source. The metals probably came from the felsite parent magma and this magma may have also contributed fluids. Close similarities between Santa Eulalia and numerous other intrusion-related carbonate-hosted deposits in northern Mexico reinforce these interpretations.

Résumé :
This work focus on the hydrodynamical problem of an LNG carrier near a GBS-type offshore terminal subject to incoming waves in medium deep to shallow water conditions. The work is restricted to 2D and the ship is restrained from moving. The resonant behaviour of the fluid in the gap between the ship and the terminal is investigated. The problem is investigated by means of a numerical model and model tests. Potential theory is assumed and a linear as well as a nonlinear time-domain numerical wavetank based on a boundary element method with a Mixed Eularian-Lagrangian approach is implemented for this purpose. Model tests (near 2D) of a mid-ship section near a vertical wall is carried out in a 26.5m long and 0.595m wide wave flume in model scale 1:70. In full scale the ship beam is 45m and the ship draft 12m. The ship model is constructed in such a way as to avoid flow separation, i.e. no sharp corners. Several parameters are varied: Water depth, wave period and wave steepness. Wave elevation is measured at twelve locations.

Résumé :
Abstract A containment and confinement pressure vessel system is under development to expand the capability to perform small explosively driven physics experiments at the Proton Radiography facility at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Two barriers of this vessel system are the Inner Pressure Confinement Vessel (IPCV) and the Outer Pressure Containment Vessel (OPCV). To achieve high spatial resolution of proton images, radiographic windows (covers) of the Inner Vessel are located extremely close to the experiment containing high explosive (HE). While the Inner Vessel is designed to meet the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division 3, Code Case 2564 criteria, the small separation between the explosive and the pressure-retaining boundary presents a unique requirement for designing dynamically loaded vessels. We present numerical simulations of HE detonation in the Inner Vessel for several HE configurations. Eularian hydrodynamic code is used to calculate pressure-time history on the inner vessel surface. The pressure-time loading is then imported into a Langrangian structural model, and high-fidelity structural dynamic simulations are performed to obtain stress and strain as functions of time. Simulations are compared against experimental measurements from dynamic testing. Dynamic experiments are conducted in a low-fidelity (LoFi) vessel prototype, to measure the pressure and strain in regions of interest in different vessel locations (body, radiographic windows, covers).

Résumé :
Jack-up rigs are often employed in close proximity to piled platforms, therefore the penetration process of spudcan may have a certain effect on the deformation and bearing capacity of adjacent piles. Firstly, the feasibility of using explicit dynamics algorithm to calculate the bearing capacity of pile is verified in this paper. The optimal result of this algorithm is compared with the results of static implicit algorithm and API specification. Secondly, Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eularian (ALE) adaptive meshing is used to study the penetration process of spudcan. The effects of soil strength, ALE boundary size, mesh size and soil elastic-modulus on calculation results of penetration depth studied in this paper are to determine the optimal numerical scheme. Based on the above analysis, the effect of spudcan penetration on the bearing capacity of adjacent piles with different clearances and its law are under research by using the optimal numerical scheme. The simulation results showing computation efficiency and accuracy can be improved by using this numerical scheme, in which the amount of pile radial mesh is 8, the amount of pile peripheral mesh is 4 and the load speed is 0.1m/s. The spudcan penetration leads to the increment of bearing capacity and this effect reduces with the increment of edge-to-edge clearance between spudcan and pile.

Résumé :
In spite of the high ash content, Indian coals have been widely used for the generation of power and industrial steam in India. Being considered as the technology for future in terms of efficiency and cleaner environment, coal gasification carries much importance since India has a large amount of coal reserves. In this paper, the numerical simulations have been performed on gasification performance of three types of Indian coals in atmospheric as well as pressurized conditions in an entrained flow, air-blown tubular gasifier. In the model, continuous phase conservation equations are solved in an Eularian frame and those of particle phase are solved in a Lagrangian frame, with coupling between the two phases incorporated through interactive source terms. Phenomena such as devolatilisation, combustion of volatiles, char combustion & gasification and the dispersion of coal particles due to turbulence are taken into account. The P-1 model has been adopted for radiative heat transfer in which scattering is taken into account for the particles. It is observed that as the ash percentage increases, the heat and mass transfer are strongly affected and the gasification performance decreases. This is attributed to the lower char reactivity due to thick ash layers and lower oxygen and other gas diffusion rates. Various regions such as devolatilisation, combustion and gasification zones inside the gasifier have been identified using the temperature plots, devolatilisation plots and mass depletion histories of coal particles. The overall gasification performance indices such as carbon conversion, heating value of the exit gas and cold gas efficiency have been predicted.
