The scholarship on female basileia in the Byzantine Empire is generally spilt into two polarized camps, divided over how to reconcile female agency within a patriarchal society. The crux of the issue is how these women achieved power and how their power was perceived. Did the emulation of men elevate these women or was their imperial worth tied exclusively to their aspects of their femininity? The disparity in contemporary scholarship often ignores the idea of a middle ground. Imperial women achieved a remarkable degree of power, yet they still existed within a male centered, almost misogynistic context. The frequency and relative consistency with which these powerful women appear in the historical record bars them from being categorized as anomalies.
In approaching the issue of early Byzantine empresses, I was very aware of the parallels in gender construction with female saints. The simultaneous masculinization and feminization of these women served to further distinguish them from women as a whole. They were unattainable paragons, their success largely determined by their adherence to a feminine version of the imperial persona. While emperors had long since developed a public persona to favorably communicate their imperial power, it wasn’t until the advent of the Christian Empire in the East that we see a pattern of imperial women with access to genuine imperial power. Though still existing within a relentlessly androcentric society, imperial women were able to negotiate rather than negate their gender to secure power within a Christian imperial structure. I examine three empresses, Pulcheria (398-453 CE), Theodora (500-548 CE), and Irene (752-803 CE), in the hopes of illuminating their claims to imperial power while also placing them in the context of a larger historical tradition.

The Ordination Scroll of Empress Zhang (1493) in the San Diego Museum of Art, a highlight at the Taoism and the Arts of China exhibition in 2000, is an unusual object among surviving visual material from Ming dynasty China (1368 – 1644). At over twenty-seven metres long, the scroll contains meticulously painted images and a detailed inscription that records the Daoist ordination of Empress Zhang (1470 – 1541), consort of the Hongzhi emperor (r. 1488 – 1505) by the Orthodox Unity institution. The event it documents, which elevates the empress into the celestial realm, would be unknown to history if not for the survival of this scroll. This dissertation is an in-depth study of the Ordination Scroll that also considers its implications for understanding the activities of empresses and their representations during the Ming dynasty. The first three chapters of this dissertation closely examine the material, visual and textual aspects of the Ordination Scroll. The remaining two chapters situate the scroll within the broader activities of Ming empresses. A complete translation of the main inscription in the scroll is provided in the appendix.

In this thesis, I have questioned the influence of whiteness in the assessment of female subordination in an increasingly neoliberal Caribbean setting. Indeed, due the rigidity of the gendered role attribution on their commune, Bobo Shanti Rastafarians have universally been accused of institutionalising female subordination by most scholars of Rastafari. In Jamaica, where women have traditionally been key agents of their communities, a passive acceptance of a subordinated status can be puzzling. Is androgyny the only means to gender equality? With the caution of strategic gender universalism against cultural relativism, I have endeavoured to analyse gender construction through the standards of this atypical community. It was the first time that a female researcher was immersed in the Bull' Bay community. It was therefore possible to analyse the EABIC livity from a female perspective, a point lacking in most academic publications about Rastafari, the EABIC and gender equality. From this qualitative study, I have suggested that the EABIC can be regarded as a radical social movement where the potential of its members needs to be federated towards the fulfilment of its objectives; creating a system where equal value is placed on defined gendered roles. I have explored three main areas: the EABIC epistemology; the public; then the private spheres of the commune. I have found that nothing in EABIC theology, the EABIC's foundation for knowledge creation, neither justified nor encouraged female subordination. Men and women are considered to be divine. The Universal supports both men and women. If the EABIC does not promote gender equality 'male style', it enforces the paramount importance of male and female agency for the survival of its purpose: Repatriation with Reparation. EABIC empresses' habitus may not fit the western notion of female empowerment; yet their chosen means to exercise agency in their community cannot be diminished.

El presente trabajo de investigación titulado: “IMPACTO TRIBUTARIO DEL RÉGIMEN MYPE TRIBUTARIO (RMT) EN EL SECTOR TEXTIL GAMARRA EN EL EJERCICIO 2017”; es un análisis básico descriptico cuasi experimental aplicado, el mismo que tiene como objetivo general: Determinar el impacto tributario que genere la creación del Régimen MYPE Tributario (RMT) en las empresas del sector textil Gamarra para el ejercicio 2017. Para ello, se tomó como base una muestra de 65 agentes fiscalizadores del área de fiscalización de la Intendencia Lima de la Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administración Tributaria (SUNAT), quienes opinaron sobre el impacto tributario que genera la creación del RMT en las empresas relacionadas al rubro textil del emporio comercial de Gamarra, siendo evaluados a través de una encuesta diseñada a partir de los indicadores de las variables para poder definir un orden metodológico al momento de su llenado, tomando como base un diseño de investigación descriptivo, un tipo de investigación metodológico analítico básico y un nivel de investigación cuasi experimental. Asimismo, se desarrolló el presente estudio tipo encuesta, el mismo que tiene como fundamentos secundarios las bases teóricas mencionadas en la presente tesis. Por ello, hemos determinado un modelo de validación de supuestos básicos a través de una medida de frecuencia, la cual identificará en qué nivel se encuentra el impacto Tributario del RMT en las empresas del sector textil de Gamarra para el ejercicio 2017, el mismo que, según resultados observados de nuestra muestra representativa de 65 encuestados, alcanzó un nivel de inadecuado o bajo validando de esta manera nuestra hipótesis general alterna referida a que “No existe un alto impacto tributario con la creación del Régimen MYPE Tributario (RMT) en las empresas del sector textil Gamarra”
Cabe señalar que nuestra muestra de 65 encuestados, representa el 100.0% del índice medido, existiendo un gran índice de frecuencia que se posiciona en la categoría inadecuada, con un 50.8% de relevancia, teniendo como tendencia a ser regular con un 32.3% respectivamente, siendo este significativo en comparación con las otras categorías (Totalmente inadecuada y Ligeramente adecuada). Es por ello que, podemos definir que efectivamente, no existe un “alto impacto tributario con la creación del Régimen MYPE Tributario (RMT) en las empresas del sector textil Gamarra”, asimismo hemos tenido a bien considerar como parte de muestro análisis a tres empresas del sector textil Gamarra a fin de conocer el impacto que genera el cambio del Régimen General del Impuesto a la Renta del ejercicio 2016 al Régimen MYPE Tributario para el ejercicio 2017; del cual pasamos los siguientes aspectos o términos.<br>This research work entitled: "TAX IMPACT OF THE TAX MYPE REGIME (RMT) IN THE GAMARRA TEXTILE SECTOR IN THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2017"; It is a basic quasi-experimental descriptive analysis applied, the same one that has as a general objective: Determine what is the tax impact of the Tax MYPE Regime (RMT) in the Gamarra textile sector companies for the year 2017. For this, it was based on a sample of 65 auditors of the supervisory area of the Intendance Lima of the National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration (SUNAT), who expressed their opinion on the tax impact generated by the creation of RMT in the companies related to textile sector of the commercial emporium of Gamarra, being evaluated through a survey designed from the indicators of variables to be able to define a methodological order at time of its filling, based on a descriptive research design, a type of basic analytical methodological research and a level of quasi-experimental research. Likewise, the present survey study was developed, the same one that has as secondary foundations the theoretical bases mentioned in the present thesis. For this reason, we have determined a validation model of basic assumptions through a frequency measurement, which will identify at what level the Tax impact of RMT in textile companies of Gamarra for the year 2017, same as, according to the results observed in our representative sample of 65 respondents, it reached a level of inadequate or low validating in this way our alternative general hypothesis referred to that "There is no great tax impact of Tributary MYPE Regime (RMT) in the companies of the textile sector Gamarra "
It should be noted that our sample of 65 respondents, represents 100.0% of the measured index, there being a high frequency index that is positioned in the inadequate category, with 50.8% relevance, having as a tendency to be regular with 32.3% respectively, being this significant in comparison with the other categories (Totally inadequate and Slightly adequate). That is why, we can define that effectively, there isn´t "Great tax impact the Tax MYPE Regime (RMT) in the Gamarra textile companies We have also considered as part of our analysis three Gamarra textile companies in order to know the impact generated by the change of the General Income Tax Regime for 2016 to the MYPE Tax Regime for the year 2017; of which we pass the following aspects or terms.<br>Tesis

Les 124 protagonistes, réelles ou fictives, de cette étude furent toutes des impératrices romaines ou des membres de la domus diuina. Notre projet débute en 193 de notre ère, date à laquelle Iulia Domna, épouse de Septime Sévère, fut élevée au rang d'impératrice. Il se clôt au début du Vème siècle ap. J.-C. avec un groupe de femmes gravitant autour de Salvina, épouse de Nebridius, un neveu de Théodose I. A une première partie consacrée à la biographie de chacune de ces femmes, succède un commentaire synthétique dans lequel nous nous attachons à montrer comment ces personnes furent représentées. Nous entendons par ce terme non seulement l'image iconographique, visuelle, mais aussi la perception que les contemporains avaient d'elles. Au-delà d'une image officielle, élément clef d'une propagande plus ou moins rodée, la réalité du pouvoir et de la place occupée par les Augustae et les autres femmes de l'entourage impérial permet de mieux appréhender la complexité et la diversité des situations. Pour peu que certaines d'entre elles s'écartent de la place traditionnelle de la femme dans la société romaine, leur image s'en retrouve très vite écornée. La place grandissante du christianisme amena les membres féminins de la domus diuina à jouer un rôle nouveau dont la perception manichéenne ajoute un élément de complexité à leur portrait<br>The 124 main characters of this work are roman empresses and members of the domus diuina. Our work begins in 193 A.D., when Iulia Domna, Severus' wife, became empress. It ends at the beginning of the 5th century, with a group of women including Salvina, niece by marriage of Theodosius I. The first part of our work consists of a set of biographical notes. The second part consists of a commentary that gives an overall picture of these women and the way they are representated. We deal with their representation thanks to iconographic sources, but also thanks to numismatic, epigraphic and literary ones. Beyond the official picture which is the most important component of the propaganda, the reality of the roman empresses' power allows us to grasp the complexity and the variety of the different situations. If some of these women played a non-conventional part, they are run down quickly. As Christianity holded a place more and more important in society, empresses and the other female members of the domus diuina took a new part, but their representation among the authors became more Manichean

El propósito de esta investigación es evaluar los aspectos financieros y tributarios de las fusiones y adquisiciones en las empresas del sector industrial, específicamente en la de cervezas, gaseosa y agua mineral. Los aspectos financieros y tributarios son analizados con el objetivo de garantizar un eficiente proceso de fusión y adquisición. Para lograr esto se planteó cinco aspectos financieros principales que van desde un análisis previo hasta los efectos contables que generarán en las empresas considerando las Normas de Información Financiera. Así mismo se analizaron los aspectos tributarios que deben tomarse en cuenta en una Fusión y Adquisición. Por otro lado, esta investigación analiza los diferentes escenarios de una Fusión y Adquisición, en la cual se identifica el tipo de Fusión y Adquisición, sus ventajas y riesgos.
El trabajo consta de un marco teórico en el cual se define dos temas importantes: los aspectos financieros y tributarios, y por otra parte las fusiones y adquisiciones. En segundo lugar, se encuentra el plan de investigación estableciendo el problema, hipótesis y objetivos de la investigación así como la metodología a utilizarse. Después, se realizó el desarrollo a través de entrevistas en profundidad, encuestas y aplicación de casos sustentando los constructos correspondientes. Por último, se encuentra el análisis de cada uno de los instrumentos realizados. Esta investigación termina con las conclusiones y recomendaciones generadas a partir del análisis realizado.<br>The purpose of this research is to evaluate the financial and tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions in companies in the industrial sector, specifically in the category of beers, soft drinks and mineral water. The financial and tax aspects are analyzed in order to guarantee an efficient merger and acquisition process. To achieve this, five main financial aspects were raised, ranging from an analysis to the accounting effects generated in the companies considering the Financial Information Standards. Likewise, it is analyzed in the tax aspects that must be taken into account in an F & A. On the other hand, this research analyzes the different scenarios of a Merger and Acquisition, in the quality identical to the type of M & A, its advantages and risks.
The work consists of a theoretical framework in which two important issues are defined: financial and tax aspects, and on the other hand, mergers and acquisitions. Secondly, there is the plan and research establishing the problem, hypothesis and objectives of the research as well as the methodology to uses. Then, the development was carried out through surveys, in-depth interviews and application of cases supporting the corresponding constructs. Finally, there is the analysis of each of the instruments performed. This research ends with the conclusions and recommendations generated from the analysis carried out.<br>Tesis

Coronae, stephanai e diademata sono gli attributi più evidenti nella ritrattistica femminile di età imperiale e si configurano non solo come gioielli, ma anche come veicolo di informazioni. Obiettivo del presente lavoro è dimostrare come tali manufatti siano significativi indizi del rango e della posizione delle donne della famiglia imperiale, poiché legati al titolo di Augusta e alla legittimazione del potere grazie al ruolo delle donne come madri. Attraverso lo studio di un campione di ritratti pertinenti alla statuaria, alla glittica e alla numismatica, si propone una tipologia degli attributi e si affronta la loro analisi in relazione ai singoli soggetti, alle diverse dinastie e ai contesti in cui sono utilizzati. La ricerca ha sviluppo diacronico e copre il periodo compreso fra Livia ed Elia Ariadne.<br>Coronae, stephanai and diademata are the clearest feautures in Roman female portraiture and they emerge not only as jewels, but also as a way to convey information. Aim of this work is to demonstrate how these artifacts are substantial clues to understand roles and positions of the female part of Roman Imperial families, since they are connected to the title of Augusta and to the dynastic legitimacy, thanks to female role as mothers of emperors. A catalogue of portraits from statuary, glyptic and numismatic leads to a tipology of these objects and to their analysis regarding single persons, dynasties and backgrounds. The study goes from Livia to Aelia Ariadne.

El presente trabajo de investigación busca analizar el impacto que tienen las decisiones financieras de las pequeñas y medianas empresas rurales de la región Cajamarca, en sus estados financieros.
Además de ello, que busca analizar los factores que influyen en las tomas de decisiones de las empresas explicadas en el párrafo anterior, y bajo qué normas contables realizan los estados financieros.
Para el desarrollo de la investigación se ha tomado como referencia las normas internacionales de información financiera para las pequeñas y medianas empresas (NIIF para las PYMES) y las metodologías respecto al proceso de toma de decisiones. Asimismo, se ha visto necesario investigar respecto a estas pequeñas y medianas empresas para conocer las principales características de este sector.
Asimismo, la investigación aplica los conceptos desarrollados en un caso práctico donde se detalla a través de un análisis las implicancias de las NIIF para las PYMES y como estas influyen en el proceso de toma de decisiones.
Por todo ello, esta investigación busca determinar si los estados financieros influyen positivamente en el impacto de las tomas de decisiones financieras para las PYMES rurales de la región Cajamarca; además de concluir si los factores que influyen en la determinación y toma de decisiones impacta positivamente a dichas empresas.<br>The present research work seeks to analyze the impact of financial decisions of small and medium-sized rural enterprises in the Cajamarca region, in their financial statements.
In addition, it seeks to analyze the factors that influence the decision-making processes of the companies explained in the previous paragraph, and under which accounting standards the financial statements are carried out.
For the development of research, reference has been made to international financial reporting standards for small and medium-sized enterprises (IFRS for SMEs) and methodologies regarding the decision-making process. Likewise, it has been necessary to investigate with respect to these small and medium enterprises to know the main characteristics of this sector.
Likewise, the research applies the concepts developed in a practical case where the implications of the IFRS for SMEs and how they influence the decision-making process are detailed through an analysis.
Therefore, this research seeks to determine if the financial statements positively influence the impact of financial decision making for rural SMEs in the Cajamarca region; in addition to concluding if the factors that influence the determination and decision making positively impact these companies.<br>Trabajo de Suficiencia Profesional

Historically, the succession to the throne has generally passed in male line of the imperial lineage. Although Japan had eight empresses, none of them acted as reigning empresses but instead as a deputy. This thesis looks into the Japanese monarchy history with three angles: the role of the Emperor, the Empresses in Japanese history, and rules to royal succession. It starts off with a discussion on the role of the Emperor, as a base to better understand whether females are competent in taking up the throne. The paper then puts the eight empresses in comparison with the emperors of their dynasty, aiming to clarify there were no other legitimate male descendants in line and the possibility of the deputy role in males. As for the royal succession, with the literature review, the paper tries to work out a logic in how and why the Imperial Household Law was written. It also organized the pro and con voices toward having an empress rather than an emperor, attempt to sort out the reasons to exclude female dynasts besides gender discrimination. The paper concludes with the writer's opinion on the issue and a discussion on the real problems in modern Japanese royal succession crisis.

Lianzi, L. (2009). Empresses in the Palace. Taiwan (R.O.C): Sitak Multimedia Publishing. is the main research object in this thesis. The three main parts of the research are as follows:
1. Pointing out the two research topics:
(1) Classifying the cast of the novel, and inferring the meaning of their existence.
(2) Finding out the reason why the alternate history fiction could be so welcomed by the contemporary society.
2. Discussing its strengths and unique among other royal conflicts novels, love stories and online fictions.
3. By analyzing the three most important relationships of the book: Master-servant relationships, empresses’ relationships as well as love and marriage, this research provides valuable information regarding the interactions, the plots, and the trend they have brought out.
The results of this study showed that this novel created publics’ interests due to the way it described relationship between group and individual. Co-opetition is always how women get along with others since the old days; ideal love is what they pursue from then till now.

Once having opportunities to interfere in politics, in order to consolidate their own power, the empresses and imperial concubines usually tended to put the relatives from their parents’ family in important positions, resulting in the expansion of power of the relatives of emperors’ mother, wife, and concubines, which further produced negative political results such as governance crises. This repeated itself in Chinese history. For example, in Han and Tang dynasties, disasters brought by this type of nepotism were serious. Down to the Ming dynasty, many changes occurred in political system, and it saw the features with special significance in terms of empress and imperial concubine politics.
This article is divided into three parts: First, according to the system, source of selection, and selection standards for empress and imperial concubine, we understand that the principle and the purpose of the authorized size of an emperor’s wife and concubines in Ming dynasty were to avoid their and their relatives’ monopolizing power. Second, the representative empresses and imperial concubines or those with special deeds are the main research subjects and divided into three different types. And their characteristics and relationship with the political affairs of imperial governments are explored and illustrated in detail. Third, the relationship pattern of “inferior empresses and superior concubines” between them is investigated. The status of empresses regarded as “dominant and promising” during the early Ming dynasty had declined increasingly, and those in the end of the dynasty were regarded as “humble and inactive”. This led to the fluctuation in power and influence, bringing unrest and impact on politics and the society.
To sum up, the reason why the Ming dynasty could dragged out its feeble existence for three centuries was somehow related to the active and inactive effects and influences exerted by those empresses and imperial concubines. So, the research on the empresses and imperial concubines in Ming dynasty has its own theoretical value and deserves attention.

Assim e mesmo que admitamos que a insolvência se lhes pode aplicar pretendemos propor alternativas que além de salvaguardar a coerência, confiança e segurança no ordenamento jurídico também proporcionem uma tutela da posição jurídica dos credores e terceiros garantes mais eficiente.<br>The figure of local companies in general, and in particular of municipal companies, has been gaining more and more relevance over the years. These companies are an extension of the participating public entities that integrate the public administration. We then perceive that the issue of insolvency to these kind of companies raises questions about the coherence of the Portuguese legal system, security and trust in public institutions. Thus, and even if we admit that insolvency can be applied to them, we intend to propose alternatives that, in addition to safeguarding the coherence, trust and security in the legal system, also provide a more effective protection of the legal position of creditors and third parties.

Moreover, the above issue shared the same value with a Chinese novel “Empresses in the Palace” which describe a women use power strategies and tactics from nobody to somebody in a palace. This research plan use text analysis method to analyses this case with integration concept.
Finally, this research found out that in order to building power fundament, organizational members try to get the critical recourses to create network position. Secondly, organizational members integrate ability have to depend on environmental change; otherwise may be lose power.

碩士<br>國立臺北教育大學<br>語文與創作學系碩士班<br>107<br>The “Empresses in the Palace " is a TV series based on seven volumes of novels written by Liu Lianzi (a rough estimate of 1.75 million words); after the 76th episode of TV series broadcast, its broadcast popularity went viral and the plot and characters in this TV series became trending topics in major social media. Due to its well-plotted content, strong character identities, and a large number of Chinese classical poetry songs arranged, this TV show can be considered as a masterpiece in commercial TV dramas, which is worthy of further discussion.
This essay is divided into five chapters, mainly to study the character identities in the " Empresses in the Palace " drama. The first chapter introduces the narratology, Bakhtin's "Polyphony Theory" and Freud's "Anxiety Theory" as the research approach, Both the literature analysis method and the comparative method were used as analysis tools to study the characters of " Empresses in the Palace " directed by director Zheng Xiaolong. Important character identities were further studied, including personal background, thinking, external image, psychological transition, anxiety state, etc. The second chapter discusses the " impassioned and faithful " character identities, such as Zhen Huan, Shen Meizhuang, Feng Ruozhao, Qi Yuebin, Cui Jinxi, Liu Zhu, Jian Qiu, Wen Shichu and Yun Li. The third chapter discusses the "loveless and ungrateful " character identities, such as Emperor Yongzheng, Nian Gengyao, Nian Shilan, Cao Qinmo, Qiao Songzhi. The fourth chapter discusses the "value material gains above justice" character identities, such as Queen mother Wuya Chengbi, Empress, Anlingrong, Huanbi, Gualjia Wenyuan, Imperial concubine Lishi. The fifth chapter summarizes major viewpoints of the research, such as the distinguishing features of this TV show as well as some core problems found.Suggestions for further research are also included.
Through the study on its plots and characters, it is found that”Empresses in the Palace” is rich in feminism. These exquisite and meticulous characters are deeply rooted in the hearts of female audience. In addition to provide emotional venting for audience, it also brings emotional resonance to a great extent. I believe this is the spectacular function and sacred mission of all literary works.

Although the story was describing dynasty , it was actually telling ancient Chinese feudalism as well as the culture of the society at that age. It brings out the paternal system of Chinese royal society which had a lot of powers and wealth through the story of love and hatred between king and his imperial consorts. The life of the imperial consorts is dark and merciless, they have to compete with each other for love, powers and right of survival with their own skills. This research tells how different people will adapt into it with their own characteristic back in the palace.
The research begins by categorizing the characters by their gender due to its important influence to people’s living values and relationships. Later the characters are further defined according to how they act and the way they talk which have different meanings in behind.
Consequently, this research had also analyzed the author’s writing skills in depicting all these characters according to their costumes, how they look and the way they act by narrating the things, palaces, poems even plants or animals used as symbolic meanings to represent the characters.
After thorough analysis of the characters, each of them have their own story to tell in great exquisite, and we could discover a lot of hidden details that was well written by the author which is another highlights of this research.

碩士<br>國立彰化師範大學<br>翻譯研究所<br>106<br>Translation for cultural loaded words has long been an everlasting and well-discussed issue in the study of translation field, not only because it is always challenging for translators to deal with, but also because it is a very critical and necessary procedure for intercultural interaction that aims at conveying upper-class or cultural bound concepts, such as literature translation, interpretation, and audiovisual translation. As Eugene Nida (1964) once suggested that it is impossible for translators to find fully official equivalent translation in their tasks, so it makes sense that there can be no absolute correspondence between two languages, and here, the current study put its focus on the investigation into Chinese-to-English translation of the subtitles in a Chinese historical drama. For the fact that studies toward the translation of Chinese historical is rather rare and new, the present research set its goal in ringing the significance by providing more data analysis and evidence of cultural vacancy solutions.
Empresses in the Palace, originates from the famous Chinese historical drama, Hou gong zhen huan chuan, also known as Legends of Zhen Huan, it is rearranged and cut into six episodes, and then broadcasted on Netflix in the U.S.A. in 2015 with English subtitles. In view of its popularity among the huge audience in Asia and the outstanding telecast rating it has created, the researcher of this present study chose it as the material for investigation, and utilized both the Chinese and English subtitles to do the analysis, aiming at exploring the strategies used by the subtitlers to cope with the idea of cultural vacancy. By applying the suggestions of a thesis submitted to Xuzhou Institute of Technology in 2015, the kinds of cultural barriers are sorted into four categories: Lexical vacancy, False friends, Loss of cultural image, and Loss of associative meaning.
In this present study, back translation is adopted to examine the target texts (English), focusing on three main categories of cultural vacancy cases: Titles of concubines and imperial members, upper-class greetings, and Chinese idioms and phrases. By translating the target language into the source language, it is substantially beneficial for researchers to tell the difference between two languages. In addition, through the procedure of back translation, the researcher is given a clearer image of exploring the strategies of the translators, also the problems hidden behind cultural loaded texts. In this research, the solutions given by Leung’s research (2015) are applied as the reference of analysis in this study; they are Literal translation, Transliteration, Transliteration, Free translation, and Other translation methods (amplification, simplification and omission). In that way, the purpose of the current study is fulfilled by classifying the cultural vacancy barriers, as well as identifying the strategies which were taken to solve them in this historical drama, seeing if the cultural implications are retained and successfully achieved in the target language.
