This study proposes to examine the book Echoes: the jewel of Pandora, of the goiana poet Yêda Schmaltz. To do so, she takes as its leitmotif the update, processed in the book, the myths of Echo and Narcissus. The reinvention of classical myths noticed in Echoes is exemplary of an applicant in the work of the author, which is, in the narratives of antiquity, one of the main centers of creation of her literature. In this case, the archetypal mythological women are treated in different and successive books in order to reveal the various stages of psychological growth of women. In Echoes, the character of the same name, unlike the original narrative, overcomes the rejection and beats the challenges of loving relationship. This overcoming causes in the I lyric the reach of the true love, which necessarily involves the development of self, the self-love, only to then distribute it to the others. Considering the development of this study, first of all, there will be a presentation of the author and her literature. Then, as this study includes the upgrade of classical myths in a modern poet, it will present some considerations on myth and on the relationship myth and poetry, seeking, as possible, establish a dialogue between these considerations and poems of the book covered. Finally, the procedure will be to rescue the narrative of Echo and Narcissus, as it appears in Ovid, the recovery of interpretations and theories about the narrative and also to examine, through the comment of paradigmatic poems, recovering the difference that Yêda Schmaltz stablishes about the myths of Echo and Narcissus
Este estudo propõe examinar o livro Ecos: a jóia de Pandora, da poeta goiana Yêda Schmaltz. Para tal, toma como fio condutor a atualização, processada no livro, dos mitos de Eco e Narciso. A reinvenção de mitos clássicos notada em Ecos é exemplar de um processo recorrente na obra da autora, a qual encontra, nas narrativas da Antiguidade, um dos principais núcleos de criação de sua obra. Nesse processo, os arquétipos mitológicos femininos são tratados em diferentes e sucessivos livros, de modo a revelar as diversas etapas do crescimento psicológico da mulher. Em Ecos, a personagem de mesmo nome, diferentemente da narrativa original, supera a rejeição e vence os desafios da relação amorosa. Essa superação faz com que o eu lírico alcance o amor autêntico, que perpassa obrigatoriamente pela valorização de si mesmo, pelo auto-amor, para só em seguida distribuílo aos outros. No desenvolvimento deste estudo, primeiramente, far-se-á uma apresentação da autora e da sua obra. Em seguida, como o trabalho contempla a atualização de mitos clássicos em uma poeta moderna, serão apresentadas algumas considerações sobre mito e sobre a relação mito e poesia, procurando, sempre que possível, estabelecer um diálogo entre essas considerações e poemas do livro contemplado. Por fim, proceder-se-á ao resgate da narrativa de Eco e Narciso, conforme aparece em Ovídio, à recuperação de interpretações e teorias sobre essa narrativa e também ao exame, por meio de comentário de poemas paradigmáticos, da recuperação com diferença que Yêda Schmaltz realiza dos mitos de Eco e Narciso

O objetivo desta dissertação é compreender como os grupos dos onze, ou comandos nacionalistas, se formaram e atuaram em Santa Catarina nos anos de 1963 e 1964. Será avaliada a conjuntura política e social dos anos 1960, especialmente em Santa Catarina, relacionando os grupos em questão com os grandes temas internacionais do período. Busca-se, também, um maior entendimento acerca do alcance das ideias trabalhistas entre os trabalhadores brasileiros, buscando compreender como se deu o desenvolvimento, no seio desse segmento da população, do getulismo, e daquilo que identifico, aqui, como um novo tipo de trabalhismo ou, talvez, uma atualização dessa cultura política. Para isso, utilizando o arquivo do Supremo Tribunal Militar, os recentes processos da Comissão de Anistia do Ministério da Justiça e depoimentos, procuro perceber a relação desses atores com setores de posições políticas diferentes, como a imprensa, a Igreja e algumas facções político-partidárias, e suas afinidades e aproximações com os outros segmentos da esquerda. Serão avaliados também os projetos políticos que estavam no horizonte desses trabalhadores, identificando, assim, o papel que o movimento desempenhou no período que antecedeu o Golpe Civil-Militar de 1964.

Isto não é uma Tese convencional. É uma prática de si. Apreendida no diálogo entre História e Filosofia, produz suas próprias figuras de linguagem, para a empreitada de pensar e de ler fontes típicas do ofício do historiador. A priori e a posteriori em permanente relação. Desta forma, organiza-se em duas partes, a saber: 1. Platôs ou Ensaios, que tanto expõe a caixa de ferramentas do curso do pensamento, quanto privilegia a tomada da consciência histórica. 2. Narrativa Histórica, espaço no qual a escrita histórica fica evidenciada mediante uso das fontes (jornais, imagens, diários de padres, crônicas, poesias, etc.). Organiza-se em Atos e Cenas, que buscaram circunscrever os recortes das fontes a partir dos problemas em análise. É genealogia quando se move por aspectos das relações de saber-poder-ética. É obra de arte que recruta suas figuras de linguagem em favor da leitura das fontes. Como questão-base, a Tese busca compreender elementos do chamado fator lúdico na constituição de modos morais de ser naquilo que se considerou ser prática de diversão. Mais especificamente, intentou-se uma investigação para refletir processos que produziram sensibilidades à beira do mar, mas também imerso nele. Destacando-se dentre as práticas de diversão: o footing e dois tipos de piquenique. Da conclusão do ponto de vista histórico, na Ilha de Santa Catarina, antes da invenção do mar para banho, tem-se a invenção do PIC NIC.
Abstract : This is not a conventional Thesis. It is a practice of self. Seized in the dialogue between History and Philosophy, it produces its own figures of language, for the work of thinking and reading sources typical of the office of the historian. A priori and a posteriori in permanent relation. This way, it is organized in two parts, namely: 1. Platôs or Essays, which both expose the toolbox of the course of thought, and privilege the taking of historical consciousness. 2. Historical Narrative, a space in which historical writing is evidenced through the use of sources (newspapers, images, diaries of parents, chronicles, poetry, etc.). It is organized in Acts and Scenes, which sought to circumscribe the cut of the sources from the problems under analysis. It is genealogy when it moves through aspects of knowledge-power-ethical relations. It is a work of art that recruits its figures of language in favor of reading the sources. As a basic question, the thesis seeks to understand elements of the so-called play factor in the constitution of moral ways of being in what was considered to be a practice of amusement. More specifically, an investigation was undertaken to reflect processes that produced sensibilities at the edge of the sea, but also immersed in it. Standing out among the practices of fun: the jogging and two types of picnic. From the conclusion of the historical point of view, in the Island of Santa Catarina, before the invention of the sea for bath, we have the invention of the PIC NIC.

Resumo: Neste trabalho investigo o fenômeno tecnológico tal como o mesmo foi percebido em uma modernidade dominada pelo conflito de temporalidades diversas, durante o período compreendido entre o final do século XIX e o início do XX. Neste cenário, foi privilegiado o olhar que, embora distanciado, volta-se obsessivamente para a simbologia da máquina e seus muitos ícones, sejam eles reais ou imaginários. Neste contexto, foram objeto de análise duas máquinas simbólicas do desenvolvimento tecnológico: a máquina de guerra convertida em sonho de progresso, o couraçado, e a máquina de sonho transformada em arma de guerra, o aeroplano. Em especial, conferese atenção para a forma de sua percepção pelos olhares de observadores para os quais só se davam a conhecer pelo veículo do texto. O estudo estendeu-se pelo viés da inserção da máquina no fenômeno da guerra, que é tomada no momento em que a mesma atinge a sua expressão mais contemporânea, qual seja: a guerra mundial, midiática e tecnológica – partindo-se, para efeito de pesquisa, da Guerra Hispano-Americana e estendendo-se para outros conflitos do período, como a Guerra Russo-Japonesa, a Guerra Yankee-Mexicana e a Guerra do Contestado, e terminando por fechar com a guerra mundial propriamente dita – a Grande Guerra de 1914-18. As fontes utilizadas foram, em sua maior parte, os periódicos curitibanos “A Republica” e “Diario da Tarde”, assim como o seu análogo carioca “O Paiz”, e uma seleção de outros jornais e revistas do período. Também foram utilizados textos literários considerados significativos para a abordagem do tema, em particular a obra de Júlio Verne e a de H.G. Wells, esta última sendo tomada como uma interferência que contribui para ampliar, com a análise de suas guerras fictícias, o campo de estudo da questão da temporalidade. A correlação destes tempos no diálogo entre as várias referências permitiu formular o quadro de um movimento negado, sob a vasta gama de imagens que, não obstante, o afirmam, revelando as alegorias com as quais se forma a percepção de futuro como espaço moderno por excelência.

The art produced with digital mean, known as digital art, involves complex questions related to the specificity of the digital media which question the ways of production, exhibition, distribution, aesthetic appreciation, authorship, that encloses the quarrels of copyright, industrial patent, free and commercial software. This study also tackles a variety of issues concerning digital production, from the poetical possibilities explored, to the quarrel of problems such as domain and access of digital language. The present research investigates artistic proposals that use digital environment, the relation between the poetical richness and the technological and technical knowledge, which depends on the access to digital means. Reflecting on the story of artists who explore the digital media, as well as texts of theoreticians and art critics, the adopted methodology was the bibliographical research and interviews with the artists: members of the SCIArts group, Tania Fraga and Malu Fragoso. The criteria for the selection of these artists was based as their contribution to the field of Brazilian digital art through exhibitions an participation in events which discuss art and technology. The study examines the poetical process of the digital production present in artworks, such, interactive installations and artistic proposals of the digital medias, as the Poetical Atrator , Gravity Fluxions: pulsations and the Tracajá Project . Were clearly articulated in speeches of the interviewed artists and in the importance of the quarrel on the technique and technology and about questions of the access and domain implied at the digital art research. The artists alert for the necessity of support to the creation of groups to research free software, for development of appropriate means of evaluations in brief that are not specific for research in digital ways, to the increase of public funding that would finance equipment and programs of high cost, and discussion on the property right of these equipment and programs. They also point out the precariousness of the critical and the exhibition spaces without the necessary structure to slow this kind of artworks in Brazil. The research Digital Echoes - poetical proposals considers that the poetical proposals in digital ways - low or high tech - creates a space of fertile artistic and critical exploration
A arte produzida com meios digitais, nomeada de arte digital, envolve questões complexas suscitadas pela especificidade dos meios digitais que questionam os modos de produção, de exibição, de distribuição, de apreciação estética, de autoria, que abrange as discussões do direito autoral, patente industrial, software proprietário e livre. Enfim, são questões que vão desde as possibilidades poéticas exploradas até o domínio e acesso da linguagem digital. A presente pesquisa busca perceber nas propostas artísticas que se utilizam do digital, a relação entre a riqueza poética e o conhecimento técnico e tecnológico, o qual depende do acesso aos meios digitais. Refletindo sobre o relato de artistas que exploram os suportes digitais, assim como de textos de teóricos e críticos de arte, a metodologia adotada foi a pesquisa bibliográfica com entrevistas semi-estruturadas e presenciais com os artistas do SCIArts, Tania Fraga e Malu Fragoso. A escolha destes artistas deu-se pelo caráter de serem artistas brasileiros pesquisadores em meios digitais, com exposições e participações em eventos atuais que discutem arte e tecnologia. O estudo aponta o processo poético dos meios digitais presente nas instalações interativas e propostas artísticas das mídias digitais como o Atrator Poético, Gravity Fluxions: pulsations e o Projeto Tracajá, que ficou mais esclarecido nas falas dos artistas entrevistados e na pertinência da discussão sobre a técnica e tecnologia e sobre questões de acesso e domínio implicadas nas pesquisas em arte digital. Os artistas alertam para a necessidade do incentivo à criação de grupos de pesquisa, que investiguem software livres, para a adequação das avaliações nos editais que não são específicos para pesquisas em meios digitais, para o aumento de editais de fomento que consigam financiar equipamentos e programas de custo mais elevado, e para a discussão sobre o direito de propriedade desses equipamentos e programas, além de salientarem a precariedade da crítica e dos espaços de exposição sem a estrutura necessária. Este estudo tem como tema leitura, entendida como encontro de palavras, como processo de compartilhamento de sentidos em inter-relações humanas instituídas por gêneros do discurso, no âmbito da cultura e da história. O objetivo da pesquisa é compreender o espaço para processos de ensino e de aprendizagem que tomem o ato de ler pela via do encontro em se tratando do trabalho de professores de Português dos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental em escola pública situada em Florianópolis, pertencente à rede de ensino do estado de Santa Catarina, considerando o uso mais efetivo ou menos efetivo do livro didático na implementação da disciplina. Assim, o estudo é levado a termo para responder à seguinte questão geral de pesquisa, em seus desdobramentos internos: Há espaços ? nas propostas docentes fundadas mais efetivamente ou menos efetivamente no livro didático de Língua Portuguesa ? para processos de ensino e de aprendizagem que considerem o ato de ler pela via do encontro? Em os havendo, como se configuram? Em não os havendo, o que se coloca em seu lugar? Para responder a tal questão e atender ao objetivo, assumindo-se como metodologia de análise Diagrama Integrado decorrente de simpósio conceitual (CERUTTI-RIZZATTI; MOSSMANN; IRIGOITE, 2013), discutem-se dados gerados por meio de entrevistas e rodas de conversas realizadas com duas professoras e sete alunos participantes de pesquisa, além de pesquisa documental e observação de aulas em duas turmas dos mencionados anos. O aporte teórico delineado para tratamento do tema ancora-se em teorizações de Vigotski (2007 [1978]), no campo da psicologia da linguagem, que focalizam a relação entre intrassubjetividade e intersubjetividade; postulados bakhtinianos (2010 [1920/24]), na área da filosofia da linguagem, acerca do ato responsável; e de estudos do letramento, na antropologia da linguagem, com base sobremodo no pensamento de Street (1984; 1988; 2003), Barton (1994), Hamilton (2000) e Heath (2001 [1982]). Em se tratando da análise dos dados, infere-se estarem a aula de Língua Portuguesa, em sentido amplo, e a leitura, em sentido estrito, em uma ecologia a requerer novas ingrediências para o encontro de palavras, haja vista a prevalência de ações prototípicas voltadas para o ensino de conhecimentos gramaticais taxionômicos e normativos, conhecimentos estes que orientam o uso do livro didático em sala de aula, em uma dissociação com a inserção cronotópica dos alunos. O estudo problematiza a lógica sob a qual se consolida a presença do livro didático nas aulas de Língua Portuguesa em que a educação para a leitura temlugar, sinalizando para a importância de discussões sobre a atuação da Universidade nos processos de formação inicial e continuada de profissionais da área da Língua Portuguesa, a fim de que as ações escolares abram espaços à educação para a infuncionalidade, com vistas à uma formação humana integral, considerando a necessidade de agudização da criticidade em tempos atuais, desafio para a educação em linguagem, nesta tese sob a ênfase das complexas relações que professores e estudantes estabelecem com o livro didático, tomado como artefato de destaque na esfera escolar sob o endosso institucional.

Abstract : This study has as theme reading understood as encontro of words as a process of sense sharing in human interrelations established by discourse genres in the field of culture and history. The objective of the research is to comprehend the space for teaching and learning processes that take the act of reading by the encontro perspective in what concerns Portuguese teachers work in the final years of Elementary Education in public school located in Florianopolis, belonging to the state network education of Santa Catarina, considering the more effective or less effective use of the textbook in the implementation of the subject. Therefore the study is executed to answer the general research question in its internal developments: Are there spaces ? in the teachers proposals based more effectively or less effectively in the textbook of Portuguese language - for teaching and learning processes that consider the act of reading by the encontro perspective? If there are, how are they configured? If there are not, what stands in its place? To answer this question and attend the goal, taking as analysis methodology Integrated Diagram resulting from conceptual symposium (CERUTTI-RIZZATTI; MOSSMANN; IRIGOITE, 2013), data generated through interviews and conversation circles with two teachers and seven students research participants, as well as documentary research and classes observation in two classes of the mentioned years are discussed. The theoretical framework outlined to issue treatment is based in theorizing of Vigotski (2007 [1978]), in the field of the psychology of language, focusing the relationship between intrassubjectivity and intersubjectivity; Bakhtin postulates (2010 [1920/24]) in the area of language philosophy, basing the responsible act; and literacy studies, in the language anthropology, based mostly in thought of Street (1984; 1988; 2003), Barton (1994), Hamilton (2000) and Heath (2001 [1982]). In what concerns the data analysis, it is inferred that the Portuguese class, in the broad sense, and reading, in the strict sense, in an ecology that requires new ingredients for the encontro of words, given the prevalence of prototypical actions aimed to taxonomic and normative grammatical knowledge teaching, knowledge that guide the use of the textbook in the classroom, in a dissociation with students cronotopic. The study questions the logic under which is consolidated the presence of the textbook in Portuguese classes in which education for reading takes place, signaling the importance of discussions on the University role in the initial and continuing formation processes of professionals in the Portuguese language area, aiming thatthe school actions open spaces to education for infunctionalty with a view to an integral human formation, considering the need for intensification of criticality in current times, challenge for education in language, in this thesis under the emphasis of the complex relationships that teachers and students establish with the textbook, taken as prominent artifact in the school sphere under the institutional endorsement.

A temática axial desta pesquisa versa sobre a relevância e a influência do Instituto dos Advogados Brasileiros (IAB) em aspectos do ordenamento jurídico nacional. Esse papel o transformou na mais abrangente referência da cultura jurídica brasileira. Para tanto, e por se tratar de uma instituição sesquicentenária, foram utilizados como referência documentos próprios do IAB, tais como Estatutos, Atas, e manifestações institucionais. A despeito de ter sido concebido especificamente para criar a Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, o IAB permaneceu atuante, pois auxiliou na construção do ordenamento jurídico do Império e da República. No século XXI tem como desafio a participação na sociedade civil no que tange ao processo de aprimoramento do Estado

Résumé :

The Early College High School (ECHS) provides high school students with the opportunity to earn college credit while they are still in high school. The school in the study, the Metro East Web Academy, is one such school and currently has an ECHS population of 119 students. After close examination of the five aspects of the theoretical framework, the one area in need of closer scrutiny was the area of supports. Through this study, three main supports were examined: tutoring through Mt. Hood Community College, an advisory class that is not a required aspect of the ECHS program, and college information sessions. A survey was delivered to the 119 current students in the early college program and to 49 current graduates of the program. Various demographic groups did utilize supports to greater and lesser degrees: first year students did not access the tutoring center at the same rates as second or third year students; no students in any demographic groups chose the advisory or AVID and TRIO as the most helpful college support, and second language speakers did indicate that time management was a greater challenge to college success than did their non second language speaking peers.

Résumé :

LBTest is a learning based-testing tool for black box testing, developed by the software reliability group at KTH. Learning based-testing combines model checking with a learning algorithm that incrementally learns a model of the system under test, which allows for a high degree of automation. This thesis examines the possibilities to use LBTest for testing of electronic control units (ECUs) at Scania. Through two case studies the possibility to formalise ECU requirements and to model ECU applicationsfor LBTest are evaluated. The case studies are followed up with benchmarking against test cases currently in use at Scania. The results of the case studies show that most of the functional requirements can, after reformulation, be formalised for LBTest and that LBTest can find previously undetected defects in ECU software. The benchmarking also shows a high error detection rate for LBTest. Finally, the thesis presents guidelines for requirement formulation and improvements of LBTest are suggested.
LBTest är ett inlärningsbaserat verktyg för black box-testing som har utvecklats av programvarutillförlitghetsgruppen på KTH. Inlärningsbaserad testning kombinerar model checking med en inlärningsalgoritm som stegvis bygger upp en lärd modell av systemet under test, vilket möjliggör en hög grad av automatisering. Denna uppsats undersöker möjligheten att använda LBTest för att testa elektroniska kontrollenheter (ECU:er) på Scania. Genom två fallstudier utvärderas möjligheten att formalisera krav på ECU:er och modellera ECU-applikationer för LBTest. Fallstudierna följs upp med en benchmarking gentemot befintliga testfall på Scania. Resultaten av fallstudierna visar att majoriteten av de funktionella kraven kan formaliseras för LBTest efter en omformulering och att LBTest kan hitta tidigare oupptäckta fel i mjukvaran. Benchmarkingen visar en hög grad av feldetektion för LBTest. I uppsatsen föreslås också riktlinjer för kravformulering och möjliga förbättringar av LBTest.

This work aims investigate some trainers elements of a peculiar identity project of the Spanish-American, present in the Cuban José Julián Martí y Perez (1853-1895), great intellectual and also political leader of the nineteenth century, to identify echoes present in Martí concepts that dialogue with the area of post-colonial studies. The assumptions of Martí identity project were linked mainly in their quest for political independence of Cuba, his homeland, and also for cultural emancipation of which he called Nuestra America , to the detriment of imported cultural practices in Europe or the United States . Martí such assumptions are also present in the reviews made by postcolonial theorysts, especially with the cultural imitation of Latin American post- colonialism, but mostly post- colonial theory of Indian mother, especially the concepts developed by the Indian theorist Homi K. Bhabha.
Esta dissertação objetiva investigar alguns elementos formadores de um projeto de identidade peculiar à América hispânica presentes na obra do cubano José Julián Martí y Pérez (1853- 1895), intelectual e líder político do século XIX, para identificar ecos ou cotejamentos de seus ideais que dialogam com a área dos Estudos Pós-Coloniais. Os pressupostos do projeto identitário martiano se pautaram principalmente pela independência política de Cuba, sua pátria, e pela emancipação cultural da por ele denominada Nuestra América , em detrimento de práticas culturais importadas da Europa ou dos Estados Unidos. Tais pressupostos também estão presentes nas críticas feitas pelos teóricos pós-coloniais, principalmente a imitação cultural, tanto na vertente do pós-colonialismo latino-americano, mas, principalmente, na matriz indiana, nos conceitos desenvolvidos pelo teórico indiano Homí. Este trabalho desenvolve uma abordagem das narrativas Terra sonâmbula (Mia Couto, 1992) e Ventos do apocalipse (Paulina Chiziane, 1999), à luz da teoria ecofeminista. A partir dos dois textos citados, que têm em comum a guerra civil em Moçambique (1976-1992), analisamos os romances à luz da teoria acima citada, ressaltando interações interpessoais e dessas com o meio ambiente, levando em conta os níveis de destruição a que o país se viu mergulhado, desde a luta por sua independência política. Neste sentido, observando que relações de gênero e meio ambiente se entrecruzam, temos, representado nas duas ficções, o colonialismo português, gerando ambientes destruídos e destruidores para o ser humano, uma vez que o imperialismo das metrópoles se apropriou de bens necessários (tais como os recursos naturais da então colônia) para o seu próprio abastecimento. Além disso, também gerou, após o fim do sistema opressor, lutas armadas e propagação de violência entre grupos tnicoraciais. Em vista do exposto, o ecofeminismo tem se afirmado pela discussão que amplia os estudos feministas, ao realizar, nas obras supracitadas, questionamentos sobre impactos ambientais. Para tanto, emprega estudos interdisciplinares, que vão desde a compreensão da natureza do espaço, bem como análise da geografia cultural de cada lugar em foco. Ao incorporar uma gama de saberes amplos e diversificados, presentes nos romances citados, o ecofeminismo também aponta para o fim da existência de verdades absolutas como a dicotomia hierárquica entre humanos e não humanos e, ainda, integra o humano à natureza, como um de seus elementos constitutivos.
This thesis analyzes two narratives from Mozambique: Terra sonâmbula (Mia Couto, 1992) and Ventos do apocalipse (Paulina Chiziane, 1999), in light of the ecofeminist theory. From the two text cited, which have in common the civil war in that country ( 1976-1992), we analyze the two novels in the light of the above-mentioned theory emphasizing interpersonal relationships and those with the environment, taking into account the levels of destruction that the country was plunged since its struggle for political independence. In this regard, noting that relationships of gender and the environment intersect, we see Portuguese colonialism represented in both fictions, creating environments destroyed and destructive to humanity, once the imperial metropolis has taken over necessary goods (such as natural resources of the colony) for their own survival. Moreover, this oppressive system has generated violence and wars among ethnic-racial groups, even after the end of colonialism. In view of these facts, ecofeminism has established itself by the discussion that these two books raise, by questioning the environmental impacts, extending feminist studies. To this end, it employs interdisciplinary studies, ranging from understanding the nature of space as well as analysis of the cultural geography of each place in focus. By incorporating a range of broad and diverse knowledge, present in the novels mentioned, ecofeminism also points to the end of the existence of absolute truths such as the hierarchical dichotomy between human and nonhuman, integrating humans to the natural world, as one of its components. Minha pesquisa é embasada em um material inédito contido no núcleo Literatura e Memória (nuLIME) da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, recebido em 2012. Os documentos dizem respeito à fase militante de Jorge Amado nos anos 1941-1942, período em que o escritor se autoexila em Buenos Aires e Montevidéu para escrever a biografia do líder comunista Luiz Carlos Prestes: Vida de Luis Carlos Prestes, o Cavaleiro da Esperança. Neste processo de escrita o autor acumulou cerca de 1.400 páginas de cartas, recortes de jornais, fotografias, poemas, inéditos e narrativas. Os materiais, deixados por Jorge Amado antes de regressar ao Brasil, configuram os rastros do arquivo: vestígios de diversas vozes de militantes de esquerda a favor da luta pela democracia e a anistia de Prestes, preso pela ditadura estado-novista de Getúlio Vargas. No que tange ao texto ? contexto, busco fazer uma intersecção teórica a fim de investigar o momento histórico em que se situam os rastros encontrados, relacionados à biografia produzida e à imagem do biografado, e de que forma a construção desse herói-personagem repercutiu e influenciou na propagação dos ideais antifascistas que ecoam hoje como possibilidade de resgate à memória e à história.

Abstract : My present research relies on unpublished which were handed over toLiterature and Memory project of Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in 2012. The documents regard the activist period of Jorge Amado in the years 1941-1942, when the writer was in self-exile in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Montivideo, Uruguay, to write Brazilian comunist leader Luiz Carlos Prestes's biography: Vida de Luiz Carlos Prestes, o Cavaleiro da Esperança. Throughout his writing process, Jorge Amado gathered about 1.400 pages of letters, newspaper clippings, photographs, poems, unpublished and narratives. This collection, left behind by Amado upon his return to Brazil, are the tracks of the archive: traces of numerous voices from left wing activists in favour of a struggle for democracy and of Prestes's amnesty, since he was arrested during Getulio Vargas dictatorship (1937-1945) in Brazil. As for text-context, we attempt to intersect theories in order to deepen the understanding of the historical moment in which said traces are found, in connection with the final biography work and with the image of Prestes; in which ways the shaping of this hero-character has impacted in and influenced the dissemination of anti-fascist ideas that up to current days flow around full of possibilities of memory and history recoveries.

The requirements on fuel consumption and emissions for passenger cars are getting stricter every year. This has forced the vehicle industry to look for ways to improve the performance of the driveline. With the increasing focus on electrification, a common method is to combine an electrical driveline with a conventional driveline that uses a petrol or diesel engine, thus creating a hybrid electric vehicle. To fully be able to utilise the potential of the driveline in such a vehicle, an efficient energy management strategy is needed. This thesis describes the development of an efficient route-based energy management strategy. Three different optimisation strategies are combined, deterministic dynamic programming, equivalent consumption minimisation strategy and convex optimisation, together with segmentation of the input data. The developed strategy shows a decrease in computational time with up to more than one hundred times compared to a benchmark algorithm. When implemented in Volvo's simulation tool, VSim, substantial fuel savings of up to ten percent is shown compared to a charge-depleting charge-sustain strategy.

Endothelial colony forming cells (ECFCs) are circulating cells able to differentiate into mature endothelial cells and replenish the endothelial lining at the sites of vascular damage. Their utilization for cell therapies aiming to restore healthy endothelial lining of blood vessels and stimulate neovascularization of ischemic tissues has been the object of intense investigation. The overall aim of this project was to investigate and develop novel approaches for the promotion of vasculogenesis and endothelisation of vascular grafts by ECFCs. First, protease-activated receptors (PARs) were investigated as potential targets to stimulate in ECFC-driven vasculogenesis and promote therapeutic revascularization. Our data showed that PAR-1 and PAR-2 are both expressed in ECFCs and functionally coupled to the ERK1/2 pathway. Specific stimulation of PAR-1, but not PAR-2, significantly inhibits in vitro tube formation by ECFCs, and this effect is due to the down-regulation of VEGFR-2. Although the role of PAR-2 remains elusive, this study sheds new light on the regulation of the vasculogenic activity of ECFCs and suggests a potential link between adult vasculogenesis and the coagulation cascade. Secondly, we investigated the use of human platelet lysate gel (hPLG) as an animal product-free and patient-specific tool to isolate, amplify, differentiate and deliver endothelial progenitor cells. This extracellular matrix (ECM) was able to support the proliferation of ECFCs in 2D cultures and the formation of a complete microvascular network in vitro in 3D cultures. Interestingly, the culture of ECFCs on hPLG led to the upregulation of several angiogenic genes, such as VEGFR-2 and PDGFR-β, and also induced the robust sprouting of existing vessels in an ex vivo model. This discovery has the potential to accelerate the development of regenerative medicine applications based on implantation of microvascular networks expanded ex vivo or the generation of fully vascularised organs. Finally, the biomimetic and pro-angiogenic properties of human platelet lysate (hPL) were utilised to facilitate adhesion and proliferation of ECFCs on polymeric materials. hPL was shown to promote endothelisation of biomaterials, which can be utilised for tissue engineering purposes. Novel electrospun polymeric tubular scaffolds were developed and their surface properties enhanced using plasma treatment. These scaffolds exhibit increased adsorption of proteins from hPL, which acted as an interfacial layer to promote the adhesion and proliferation of ECFCs on their surface. Such findings demonstrate that the pro-angiogenic and pro-vasculogenic properties of platelet-derived factors can be transferred to scaffolds to stimulate endothelial growth on synthetic scaffolds for tissue engineering without the use of recombinant or animal products. In conclusion, we propose the use of ECFCs with platelet-derived products as an ideal synergy for the vascularization of tissue engineered constructs.

The thesis should assess the credit system applied at the Faculty of Management at VSE in Jindrichuv Hradec from the perspective of educational demands and obligations. It is possible to analyze the development in time or make comparison with other schools. Within the framework of practical part the research might be performed on the sample of students. The aim will be to determine how much time and effort they devote to achievement of educational obligations and to compare results with the value of credits that are allocated when obligations are met. The work may contain my personal proposals for changes of the credit system at Faculty of Management at VSE in Jindrichuv Hradec.

A tese versa sobre o problema da verdade em Merleau-Ponty e sua oposição à verdade como adequação, portanto, à ontologia clássica dualista e, nesta via, sobre a arte como acesso à verdade, no percurso desencadeado pelo filósofo, e o que daí decorre em relação à instituição de uma ontologia. A arte, pois, como expressão da trama do ser por dentro - não imitação, re-apresentação ou fuga e, neste sentido, testemunho e rebento de uma reversibilidade irredutível (do expresso e da expressão, do signo e do sentido, do corpo e do espírito, de mim e de outrem, da palavra e do silêncio) no que toca à experiência do ser. Traços estes que circunscrevem a verdade no crivo da abertura e da coexistência e, com isto, do inacabamento da linguagem, da ação e do pensamento, compreendida, em última instância, como coesão sem conceito e, deste modo, não adequação. Com este foco, voltamo-nos inicialmente para a reformulação do problema da verdade nos termos de uma efetiva conduta interrogativa cujo solo é a existência enquanto jogo de imanência e transcendência; em seguida, para a ontologia da obra de arte e a intersecção com a filosofia e, deste modo, para a expressão inacabada da verdade; e, por fim, para o mundo sensível e, neste sentido, para a verdade na instância pré-reflexiva.
This thesis deals with the problem of truth in Merleau-Ponty and his opposition to truth as adequacy, therefore, to the classical dualist ontology and, in this way, to art as access to the path opened up by the philosopher and what comes out from this in relation to the institution of an ontology. Hence, art as expression of the being´s weave inside itself not imitation or reapresentation or flight and, in that sense, a proof and a bud of an irreducible reversibility (of what is expressed and the expression, the sign and the meaning, the body and the spirit, the self and the other, the word and the silence) as far as the experience of the being is concerned. These traces circumscribe truth in the riddle of openness and coexistence and so the unfinishiment of language, of action and thought understood, in the last instance, as cohesion without concept and, in that way, no adequacy. On this view, we turn away initially towards the reformulation of the problem of truth in terms of an effective interrogative conduct whose ground is existence while a game of immanence and transcendancy; besides, of the ontology of the work of art and the intersection with philosophy and therefore the unfinished expression of truth; and, at last, to the sensitive world and, in that sense, to truth in the pre-reflective instance.

O autismo intriga os que estão envolvidos com sua problemática, pelo caráter atípico da patologia o qual, dentro da visão clássica de Kanner, destitui o sujeito de qualquer possibilidade de linguagem, condenando-o ao isolamento. A agitação demonstrada por uma criança autista, 6 anos, sexo masculino, assistida no setor de Fonoaudiologia da Associação dos Deficientes de Peixinhos (ADEPE), diante das tentativas em estabelecer um contato e significar sua Ecolalia, levou-nos a interrogar: seria possível enquanto objetivo deste estudo, apresentar a Ecolalia como rudimentos de linguagem tratados na clínica Fonoaudiológica? Especificamente, através da significação do discurso, podemos descrever a Ecolalia como um objeto laço - usado pelo autista para capturar o outro e estabelecer o diálogo, constituindo a linguagem? Assim sendo, essa pesquisa caracterizou-se por ser um estudo de caso, baseado nos atendimentos fonoaudiológicos da criança acima mencionada, ao longo de mais ou menos um ano. Procuramos nos apoiar nas concepções estruturalistas sobre a aquisição de linguagem de Claudia de Lemos (PUC-SP) e nas perspectivas da Psicanálise lacaniana, que destaca a linguagem e a apresenta como fundante do sujeito. Frente aos achados da pesquisa, foi possível constatar o deslize na linguagem da criança autista, caracterizado por alterações nos eixos da linguagem: metafórico e metonímico, que nos fizeram refletir sobre uma possível reestruturação interna da Ecolalia, destituindo-a do caráter de rigidez e descontextualização
The autism intrigue those who get involved with its questions, because of atypical meaning of the pathology which, according Kanner, deny the subject from any way to speech, isolating himself. The euphoria that a 6 years old male autistic child presents, assisted at the Associação dos Deficientes de Peixinhos (ADEPE) by its Speech Therapy Department, before the attempt to set up contact and mean his echolalia, came us a question: is it possible while aim of this study, show the echolalia how rudiments of language aided at Speech Therapy Clinic? Specifically, through meaning of the speech, can we describe the echolalia as an object a lasso used by the autistic person to capture anothers care and establish the dialog, constituting the language? This being the case, this research is a study of case, based on Speech Therapy treatment of foresaid child, along about a year. We found support on conceptions of Structuralism about speech acquirement by Claudia de Lemos (PUC-SP) and on perspectives of Lacans Psychoanalysis, which detach the language and present it as a subjects fundante. Nesta tese investigo o discurso pedagógico, a partir do corpus, constituído de textos produzidos por alunos da disciplina “Laboratório de Escrita”, ministrada em uma universidade pública rio-grandense, em um curso da área de ciências exatas, nos anos de 2002, 2003 e 2004. A problematização da relação entre a prática da escrita e a constituição das identidades dos sujeitos-alunos, enfocada na análise discursiva, estende-se à perspectiva identitária docente, mediante a teorização da experiência narrada e explicitação da posição assumida no discurso pedagógico. Busca-se aprofundar a reflexão do modo como o discurso pedagógico, especificamente no que se refere à produção textual, implica a consitituição de identidades. A pesquisa se situa nas áreas da Análise de Discurso e da Educação, apoiando-se na linha discursiva de M. Pêcheux, E. Orlandi e autores afins, buscando ainda subsídios nos estudos educacionais de origem foucaultiana e em outros autores. Com base no referencial discursivo, descrevo o discurso pedagógico como um discurso autoritário e homogeneizante, no qual, entretanto, pode irromper o gesto de interpretação do sujeito. A análise do corpus mostra os ecos do discurso pedagógico da referida disciplina na qual foram produzidos os textos, cujo propósito era dar condições aos alunos de realizarem deslocamentos de sentidos através da escrita. Na produção desses textos, os alunos assumiram diferentes posicionamentos, dando visibilidade à heterogeneidade do discurso e dos sujeitos. Na análise das seqüências discursivas compreendidas nos textos enfocados, foram evidenciados alguns efeitos de sentidos que indicam os modos como, no processo de textualização, o sujeito assume a posição-autor: ironia e incerteza; efeitos de fechamento do texto; efeitos de sentidos de concordância e de discordância nos posicionamentos discursivos; efeitos de sentido de jogo dos sentidos e jogo da língua. No movimento analítico entre descrição e interpretação, considero adjetivos, advérbios e pronomes como marcas lingüísticas, cujo funcionamento discursivo indica os posicionamentos dos alunos, as suas identificações e contra-identificações às memórias discursivas representadas nos textos. O corpus permite entrever ressonâncias do discurso pedagógico que assumiu a primazia no ensino da escrita, cuja característica é a ênfase nacorreção gramatical e ortográfica. Concluo que a escola pode ser perspectivada como espaço intervalar, lugar de interpretação. Este ponto de vista teórico considera a heterogeneidade do sujeito e do discurso e a língua como lugar do equívoco, condições necessárias para escrita como prática de autoria.
This work, based on the French theory of Discourse Analysis, investigates the relationships between pedagogic discourse and the written productions of graduate students, trying to identify the effects of written texts on the constitution of their identities. The corpus consists of texts written by students of a Course of Engineering of a public university of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in a graduate course entitled “Laboratory of Writing”, during two years. The research is based on the works of Pêcheux (1990, 1993, 1995), Orlandi (1987, 1988, 1996, 2002a) and Foucault (2001, 2002) mainly. From this point of view, the pedagogic discourse is described as a authoritarian and homogeneous discourse which can be broken by “interpretation gestures” (ORLANDI, 1996).The analysis of the texts written by these students considered the presence of linguistic elements as adjectives, adverbs and pronouns, which, according to the linguistic theory, mark discursive positions taken by the students. The analysis gives visibility to interpretation process as a result of the pedagogic work developed in the activities of the course, which used to emphasize the production of meaning. It also gives visibility to interpretation and to identificatory processes emerging on the texts which I suppose is due to the pedagogic discourse of the “Laboratory of Writing”, which emphasized the practices of reading and writing as significant practices. From this point of view subjects and discourse are not homogeneous. I analyze the school practices of writing, the relations of power which characterize the actors of the pedagogic process, considering these relations can be transformed, being the school a place where the students can produce meanings and constitute their identities. I interpretate the textual and grammatical disorganization which can be perceived in a great number of texts written by students as “echos” of the dominant pedagogic discourse practiced in school, which mainly emphasizes the rules of grammar and the correct orthography. This research also intends, in a great extension, to theorize about the teaching of writing in school, starting from a point of view which considers the heterogeneity as being constitutive of subjects and of discourse.

Este trabalho traz um estudo dos diversos aspectos práticos envolvidos na estimação espectral empirica de sinais aleatórios, utilizando para tanto um caso exemplo: o modelamento do "clutter" maritimo de radar. A partir da análise estatistica do processo e de um estudo a respeito das diversas técnicas de estimação espectral existentes, opta-se pelo modelamento paramétrico AR, após considerar-se o caso geral do modelamento ARMA ("autoregressive moving-average"). Por se tratar o "clutter" de um processo estocástico não gaussiano, é apresentado um estudo comparativo entre os modelos obtidos de uma análise estatistica nos domínios do segundo momento (representado pelo algoritmo de Burg) e dos cumulantes de até terceira ordem (algoritrro dos currulantes). Neste último caso, a análise estatística de ordem superior (momentos de até terceira ordem) é responsável por incorporar ao modelo informação adicional a respeito do processo, e reduzir os efeitos de polarização do espectro causados por ruido de observação aditivo. No decorrer do texto são discutidos aspectos como autocorrelação em azimute e em distância, estacionariedade, estimação da ordem do modelo, localização dos polos no plano complexo, variância, resolução e estabilidade espectral. Os modelos são validados através de uma correspondência bem definida entre os resultados obtidos no domínio amostral ou estatístico e no domínio espectral.

Background and purpose: The relevance of skin preparation

by abrasion preceded or not by alcohol cleansing for digital

ECG (dECGs) variables was prospectively evaluated.

Methods: In 22 healthy male subjects (40.2±9.7 years) dECGs

were recorded continuously over 5 minute periods at 5 different

time points at 3 separate 24-hour visits, employing 2 electrode

types and no skin preparation, abrasion and alcohol cleansing

before abrasion. Smoothed means dECG data covering 5

minutes used for statistical analysis on leads V2-3 and V5.

Results: Significant of skin preparation with reductions for

skin-impedance and noise (p<0.0001 – p=0.35) for all leads,

and with no further effect by alcohol cleansing (p>0.46). PRintervals

were significantly prolonged by skin preparation

(p=0.0003 – p=0.0165) in leads V2-3 at 120 and 1 440 minutes;

with additional impact of alcohol at 1 440 minutes (p=0.0005).

Subject comfort was markedly higher with one of the electrode

types (p<0.0001).

Conclusion: Skin preparation by abrasion should be employed

prior to dECG recordings to improve signal properties.

Cleansing with alcohol is generally not warranted. Skin

irritation is dependant on choice of electrode.

This thesis covers the work to combine the two worlds of the hardware platform of the BLACKfin by Analog Devices and the software based on the eCos operating system to provide a foundation for embedded real-time applications to build on to benefit from the best aspects of both. This document will therefore outline the main objectives of this thesis followed by an overview of the functionality provided by eCos and the BLACKfin. It will further outline the steps required to combine both by porting the hardware abstraction layer and device drivers for the BLACKfin architecture to eCos. Prior to detailing selected implementations of particular code segments of special interest this thesis will outline the design and concept considerations involved and the conclusion drawn in order to provide a working HAL. After describing the current state of the hardware abstraction layer port conducted as part of this thesis this document will provide an evaluation of the implementation itself the benefits as well as possible limitations. To provide a conclusion to the work outlined in this document further possible questions of interest for future work based on the results of this thesis will be provided.

The main purpose of this study is to investigate, seek the origins and the social representation of the phenomenon known as the politically correct. The expression politically correct refers to a policy that aims to make the language neutral in terms of discrimination as well as to avoid behaviors that could be offensive and considered morally objectionable by the contemporary society. In the media and in daily life the politically correct arises as a way to promote the inclusion of minorities and toeliminate social inequalities and prejudices and promote and human rights values, in other side it severs as censorship, to indicate the use of right keywords. To collect the data we used the Social Representation, and psychoanalysis as a tool to analytical scrutiny of results, in order to do so, the language was used as a link to connect the conceptualentanglement that is the common raw material for both approaches. Qualitative, this study began with a bibliographic research, followed bymethodological procedures uin the form of free association of words test (TALP) that emerged in a study group. Analyses of evocations collected in TALP was processed by IRaMuTeQ software, and prejudice was the word most associated with the subjects investigated, followed by black. We conclude that there is a linkage between the issue of prejudice that political correctness combats and the unconscious return of the repressed content, because the black word denounces that despite the politically correct censorship, image or social representation of skinned person Dark returns in the mind of the subject. Through thestudy groups two positions of political correctness arose one in defense of human rights and the other regarding its effects as censorship. Categories such as language, power and guilt represented in speeches, indicate acceptance and use of politically correct language as a tool to regulate social relations. O objetivo central dessa pesquisa é a investigação do fenômeno politicamente correto, para buscar suas origens e suas representações sociais. A expressão politicamente correto refere-se a uma política que pretende tornar a linguagem neutra em termos de discriminação e evitar atitudes que possam ser ofensivas e moralmente condenáveis pela sociedade contemporânea. Seu exercício na mídia e no cotidiano aparece em prol da inclusão das minorias, na eliminação de desigualdades sociais e preconceitos, e na defesados direitos humanos, assim como em uma outra sua vertente, a de censura, ao indicar o uso de palavras corretas. Para a coleta dos dados da pesquisa foram utilizadas as Representações Sociais, e a Psicanálise como crivo analítico dos resultados, sendoa linguagem ofio condutor desse entrelaçamento conceitual, matéria-primacomum que édas duas abordagens. De natureza qualitativa, este estudo iniciou-se com uma pesquisa bibliográfica, utilizou como procedimentos metodológicos o teste de associação livre de palavras (TALP) e um grupo focal. As análises das evocações coletadas no TALP foram processadas pelo software IRaMuTeQ, sendo preconceito a palavra mais associada pelos sujeitos investigados, seguida por negro. Concluise que háumaarticulação, entre a questão do preconceitoque o politicamentecorreto combate e o retornoinconsciente doconteúdo recalcado, pois a palavra negro denunciaque, apesar da censura do politicamente correto, a imagem,ourepresentação social da pessoa de peleescuraretornanamente do sujeito. No grupo focal, evidenciou-se duasposições do politicamentecorreto, umanadefesa dos direitoshumanos e a outraemseuefeito de censura. Categoriascomolinguagem, podere culpa representadas nos discursos, indicam a aceitação e utilização da linguagem politicamente correta como uma regulação das relações sociais. The nanosatellite is build-up of subsystems and payloads (defined as satellite nodes) connected together into the OBC using CAN bus as the main communication protocol. The flight software application is required to run within the eCos environment on the OBC to monitor and control satellite nodes. The ground station must generate commands and send them to the satellite in space. The application is developed to validate, schedule and dispatch the commands to the satellite nodes at appropriate times. Each node manager, in the flight software, is required to execute the response messages from its respective satellite node. The housekeeping and error recovery data files are defined to convey useful information about satellite status to the user and can be downloaded to the ground station. The flight software is developed using POSIX functions supported by eCos. Although it is not yet ready for real operation in space, the algorithm that can be used for full development is examined and approved.

A presente dissertação pretende identificar os ecos da sociedade patriarcal na literatura de autoria feminina, tendo como corpus de análise Mulher no espelho, de Helena Parente Cunha. Sob a ótica dos Estudos de Gênero (LAURETIS, 1994), que trouxeram um novo entendimento para a valorização desigual dos papéis atribuídos a mulheres e homens em nossa sociedade, buscamos investigar o percurso da protagonista rumo ao autoconhecimento e uma nova e libertadora definição identitária. E, através das novas perspectivas de leitura, advindas dos pressupostos da Crítica Feminista (SHOWALTER, 1994), objetivamos inserir esse romance em uma tradição de autoria feminina que denuncia e questiona a opressão da mulher.
The present dissertation intends to identify the echoes of the patriarchal society in the literature of feminine authorship, taking Woman in the mirror, by Helena Parente Cunha, as analysis corpus. Under the optics of the Studies of Gender (LAURETIS, 1994), that have brought a new understanding to the unequal appreciation of the papers attributed to women and men in our society, we try to investigate the protagonist path to self-knowledge and a new and liberating identitary definition. And, through new perspectives of reading, coming from the presuppositions of the Feminist Critics (SHOWALTER, 1994), we aim to insert this novel in a tradition of feminine authorship that denounces and questions oppression of women.

This work focuses its attention on the construction of identity by means of the written word using the autobiographical narrative I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings (1970) by the afroamerican writer Maya Angelou. We have utilized the work of Maya Angelou due to her pioneering efforts to openly confront her past and use her personal challenges as a cathartic means to descend to the hells or to death so that she could be transformed.

This thesis presents the software component of a revolutionary approach to create an development and management environment that tackles all the current shortcomings of the industry, providing exible and scalable tools and components. The software created has the capability to: visually create, edit and interact with functions that in turn will be deployed to the hardware created in the one of sibling projects; control the hardware (directly and/or remotely) in a transparent and seamless manner; programming without compiler or linkers (the functions are directly interpreted by the system); debugging and changing the functions live, without the need to stop the hardware; store and analyse data logs; interact with intelligent peripherals, adding, removing, creating functions, reading and writing it's variables.

In recent years, rules and regulations regarding fuel consumption of vehicles and the amount of emissions produced by them are becoming stricter. This has led the automotive industry to develop more advanced solutions to propel vehicles to meet the legal requirements. The Hybrid Electric Vehicle is one of the solutions that is becoming more popular in the automotive industry. It consists of an electrical driveline combined with a conventional powertrain, propelled by either a diesel or petrol engine. Two power sources create the possibility to choose when and how to use the power sources to propel the vehicle. The strategy that decides how this is done is referred to as an energy management strategy. Today most energy management strategies only try to reduce fuel consumption using models that describe the steady state behaviour of the engine. In other words, no reduction of emissions is achieved and all transient behaviour is considered negligible. In this thesis, an energy management strategy incorporating engine dynamics to reduce fuel consumption and nitrogen oxide emissions have been designed. First, the models that describe how fuel consumption and nitrogen oxide emissions behave during transient engine operation are developed. Then, an energy management strategy is developed consisting of a model predictive controller that combines the equivalent consumption minimization strategy and convex optimization. Results indicate that by considering engine dynamics in the energy management strategy, both fuel consumption and nitrogen oxide emissions can be reduced. Furthermore, it is also shown that the major reduction in fuel consumption and nitrogen oxide emissions is achieved for short prediction horizons.

Technological development has significantly reduced the distance between the performance of systems designed using reconfigurable computing and dedicated hardware. The main sources of performance are the high density level of the FPGAs and the resources? improvement offered by manufacturers, who make more its use more attractive in a variety of applications, emphatically in systems that demand a high degree of flexibility. In this context, the objective of this work consists on the exploration of the resources offered by FPGAs for the development of a multiprocessed platform with the purpose of parallel execution of tasks. In this way, the eCos operating system was modified, with the addition of new characteristics to support of the Symmetric Multiprocessing model, using three soft-Core Altera Nios II processors. On this operating system, all parallelism is directly related to execution of the threads. This platform was analyzed and validated through the execution of parallel algorithms, emphasizing aspects of performance and flexibility compared to other architectures. This work contributes for reaching better results in the execution of tasks in robotics area, which belongs to a domain that demand great competition of tasks, mainly in modules that involve interaction with the external environment

Electrically conductive adhesives (ECAs) are one of the lead-free interconnect materials with the advantages of environmental friendliness, mild processing conditions, fewer processing steps, low stress on the substrates, and fine pitch interconnect capability. However, some challenging issues still exist for the currently available ECAs, including lower electrical conductivity, conductivity fatigue in reliability tests, limited current-carrying capability, poor impact strength, etc. The interfacial properties is one of the major considerations when resolving these challenges and developing high performance conductive adhesives. Surface functionalization and interface modification are the major approaches used in this thesis. Fundamental understanding and analysis of the interaction between various types of interface modifiers and ECA materials and substrates are the key for the development of high performance ECA for lead-free interconnects. The results of this thesis provide the guideline for the enhancement of interfacial properties of metal-metal and metal-polymer interactions. Systematic investigation of various types of ECAs contributes to a better understanding of materials requirements for different applications, such as surface mount technology (SMT), flip chip applications, flat panel display modules with high resolution, etc. Improvement of the electrical, thermal and reliability of different ECAs make them a potentially ideal candidate for high power and fine pitch microelectronics packaging option.

Realiza-se neste trabalho um estudo comparado de dois contos pertencentes ao macrossistema das literaturas de língua portuguesa: \"As margens da Alegria\", do livro de contos Primeiras Estórias, do escritor brasileiro João Guimarães Rosa, e \"O viajante clandestino\", do livro Cronicando, do escritor moçambicano Mia Couto, utilizando como suporte teórico o comparatismo de solidariedade teorizado por Benjamin Abdala Junior, a partir da conceituação de sistema literário formulado por Antonio Candido. A dissertação focaliza os contos buscando articulação entre eles do ponto de vista temático e estrutural, enfatizando o narrador e a linguagem, e detectando em sua construção narrativa a presença do imaginário infantil. Inicialmente, analisamos os contos em suas especificidades e depois estabelecemos confronto entre ambos para detectar similitudes e diferenças entre os autores na construção de suas narrativas, buscando sempre a correlação com o conjunto da obra de cada autorl.
This paper makes a comparative study between two short stories which belong to the macrosystem of the Portuguese language literature: \"As margens da Alegria\", from the short story book Primeiras Estorias, by the Brazilian writer Guimarães Rosa, and \"O viajante clandestine\", from the book Cronicando, by the Mozambican writer Mia Couto. This work is based on the comparativism of solidarity theorized by Benjamin Abdala Junior, considering the literary system formulated by Antonio Candido. This dissertation focuses on the short stories examined and tries to articulate them in terms of thematic and structural points, emphasizing the narrator and the language, apart from detecting in their narrative construction the presence of elements from the children\'s imaginary world. Inicially, the short stories are analyzed in their specificities and then confronts are established in order to detect similarities and differences between both authors and their narrative constructions, always attempting to make correlations with the whole of each author\'s work.

De 1993 a 2004, Walter Kempowski publicou uma série em dez volumes intitulada Das Echolot. Ein Kollektives Tagebuch. (A ecossonda. Um diário coletivo) Nessa obra, Kempowski procurou retratar alguns dos episódios principais da Segunda Guerra Mundial através da apresentação de documentos redigidos, em sua grande maioria, na época dos acontecimentos: diários, cartas, memórias, discursos ou programas de rádio. Esses documentos foram ordenados de acordo com o dia no qual foram escritos, compondo um grande diário coletivo que retrata os acontecimentos de uma perspectiva abrangente e multiforme. Nesta tese, o volume Barbarossa 41, que narra a invasão da URSS em 1941, foi tomado como exemplo para questionar o papel do autor nessa montagem monumental de citações que, à primeira vista, parece reduzir-se à organização formal dos documentos. Para analisar a forma como se estabelece o significado dos elementos organizados no livro observou-se 1) a própria estruturação do livro, 2) as citações de algumas das principais personagens, que podem ser consideradas como exemplares e 3) a sequência interna de dois dias completos do diário. As citações das personagens exemplares foram comparadas com os documentos originais de onde foram extraídas, buscando-se identificar as intenções que guiaram o autor na seleção e no recorte dos textos. O resultado dessa pesquisa indica que o papel do autor na constituição do sentido da narrativa nascida da conexão dos fragmentos é decisivo. Com uma outra seleção e um outro recorte, as personagens deixariam uma impressão diferente no leitor. Também foi confirmado que a organização específica do material criou um panorama da Segunda Guerra que se deve às intenções do autor, ainda que esse fato permaneça, em grande parte, despercebido pelo leitor.
From 1993 to 2004, Walter Kempowski published a sequence of ten books named Das Echolot. Ein Kollektives Tagebuch. (The Echo Sounder. A collective diary.) In these books, Kempowski aims to depict main episodes of the Second World War by presenting documents written mostly while the events took place: diaries, letters, memories, speeches or radio programs. Those documents were sorted according to the day they were written, and so they composed a great collective diary which depicts the events in a comprehensive and multifaceted perspective. In this thesis, the volume Barbarossa 41, which narrates the invasion of the USSR in 1941, was taken as an example to question the role of the author in this monumental montage of quotations that, at the first sight, seems to be just a formal organization of documents. In order to determinate how the meaning of the elements organized in the book gets established, the following items were observed: 1) the own structure of the book, 2) the quotations of some of the main figures that can be considered as exemplary and 3) the internal sequence in two whole days of the diary. The quotations of the exemplary characters were compared with the original documents, in order to identify the intentions that guided the author in the selection of the texts and the excerpts that would be published. The result of this research indicates that the role of the author in the constitution of the sense of the narrative which comes from the connection of the fragments is crucial. With another selection of texts and excerpts, the characters would leave a different impression on the reader; it was also confirmed that the specific organization of the material has created a panorama of the Second World War that is due to the intentions of the author, even if this fact remains mostly unnoticed by the reader.

As the leading cause of deaths worldwide, Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) has imposed a serious burden onto society. Being reactive in approach, the current healthcare infrastructure struggles to address the problem properly. In contrast, a proactive approach can offer better disease management by predicting impending episodes. The key to the proactive approach is remote continuous monitoring. Traditional long-term monitoring faces serious challenges in transmission as data must be sent out continuously for further processing, leading to short battery life of the sensor node and defying the very notion of continuous monitoring. However, with intelligent signal processing algorithms, signal analysis may directly take place at the sensor node itself. Hence one does not need to transmit data until abnormality is detected. This in turn may save the energy at the sensing node and therefore preserve the notion of continuous monitoring. In this thesis, we first investigate the automated feature detection of Electrocardiogram (ECG) fiducial points by proposing two different algorithms based on time-domain morphology and gradient, as well as time-frequency-domain with Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) respectively. Secondly, to tolerate the possible misdetection errors from ECG fiducial points detection algorithms, we investigate spectral energy as a feature for normal and abnormal ECG classification in feature calculation, as well as statistical analysis of its variation and classification performance under worst-case misdetection. Our exploration shows that spectral energy mostly manages to tackle misdetection error and shows better classification performance than wave duration-based classification. Thirdly, we explore the possibility of adding more time and frequency domain features for enhancing the classification accuracy. Different levels of improvements in classification performance can be observed with respect to the classification models and number of ECG leads involved. Finally, hardware architecture is proposed to integrate spectral energy calculation and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) classifier for an on-body ECG classifier. Verification and power estimation of the system is carried out and shown to be efficient for on-body ECG normal and abnormal classification.

O presente trabalho analisa a Rádio Brisa localizada na favela da Rocinha. A Brisa é uma rádio comunitária que reproduz em sua programação, o cotidiano dos moradores. Ao longo da pesquisa, analisei símbolos, códigos, linguagens e como todas essas questões influenciam na comunicação da rádio através da criação e produção do programa Música e Cia que aborda temas ligados à educação, cultura e saúde. Além do trabalho básico - roteiro e produção, foi estudada a linguagem e as especificidades do próprio veículo, levando em consideração a representatividade da rádio nas relações que envolvem ouvintes e locutores. O resultado da pesquisa foi apresentado em um vídeo de 20 minutos que mostra o cotidiano da rádio através de depoimentos de ouvintes e moradores e demais pessoas envolvidas.

Située entre la Linguistique et la Littérature, cette recherche vise à décrire certains ethé de Gustave Flaubert, de son roman - Madame Bovary, et son personnage - Emma Bovary. Nous cherchons à (re)constituer ces ethé et de les mettre en relation dans une sorte de miroir, d'écho. Comme cadre théorique, nous utilisons la Semiolinguistique de Patrick Charaudeau, en particulier le contrat de communication, ainsi que des recherches d'autres auteurs qui étudient la notion d'ethos tels que Patrick Charaudeau, Ruth Amossy et Dominique Maingueneau, par exemple. Cette notion d'ethos nous aide aussi à (re)composer les images de soi dans nos corpora, en les contextualisant dans la société bourgeoise française du XIXe siècle.
Sedimentada nas interfaces entre a Linguística e a Literatura, essa pesquisa tem por objetivo maior delinear alguns ethé de Gustave Flaubert, de sua obra Madame Bovary, e de sua personagem Emma Bovary. Buscamos (re)constituir esses ethé e relacioná-los entre si, numa espécie de espelhamento, de eco. Como arcabouço teórico, contamos com a Semiolinguística de Patrick Charaudeau, mais particularmente com o quadro do contrato comunicacional, além de trabalhos de outros autores que estudam a noção de ethos, como Patrick Charaudeau, Ruth Amossy e Dominique Maingueneau, por exemplo. A noção de ethos nos ajuda, ainda, a (re)compor as imagens de si presentes em nossos corpora, contextualizando-as na sociedade burguesa francesa do século XIX.

Esta pesquisa analisa a construção da escrita literária de Clarice Lispector e Antonin Artaud, a fim de sustentar a ideia de que esses dois autores exercitam expressões de uma linguagem experimental, desfragmentada, multifacetada, híbrida, que mistura diversos signos de maneira insólita; dicções literárias daquilo que, a partir dos estudos dos filósofos franceses Gilles Deleuze e Félix Guattari, chamo de Esquizolinguagem. O trabalho está dividido em 4 partes, as quais têm a pretensão de funcionar pela lógica de platô uma região contínua de intensidades, vibrando sobre ela mesma, e que se desenvolve evitando toda orientação sobre um ponto culminante ou em direção a uma finalidade exterior (BATESON apud DELEUZE; GUATTARI, 1995, p. 33). Embora isso seja meio paradoxal, já que uma tese pretende criar um discurso, se não inédito, original sobre um determinado objeto, o que implicaria conceber conclusões, esta pesquisa não pretende estabelecer uma teoria estanque sobre a obra de Artaud e de Lispector, mas antes verificar as zonas de convergência e conexão entre as produções desses autores, procurando delinear traços da estética do discurso artístico-literário exercitado nos textos escolhidos. No primeiro platô acompanhamos o passeio do esquizofrênico pela máquina capitalista, procurando refletir sobre as confluências entre a noção de esquizofrenia que norteia este trabalho e o território da linguagem, onde se territorializa o sujeito esquizo. O segundo platô é o espaço de intensidades clariceanas, remontando o percurso da linguagem na obra de Clarice Lispector até chegar ao processo doloroso de escritura de Água viva (1973). Procuro conectar as discussões sobre a (in)eficiência da língua humana e seu escape para a pintura, música, linguagem do corpo, silêncio, etc. a alguns quadros que foram pintados pela autora, isso na tentativa de perceber um projeto estético-literário acontecendo na produção de Lispector. O terceiro platô esboça a dinâmica de escritura de Antonin Artaud e o amadurecimento da proposta chamada de Teatro da Crueldade, também refletindo sobre os diversos signos evocados em sua pictografia (DERRIDA, 1998). As obras que ganham maior atenção são Les sorts (1937-1939), Artaud le Mômo (1947), Suppôts et suppliciations (1947) e 50 dessins pour assassiner la magie (1948) textos que estiveram no foco das minhas pesquisas durante o estágio doutoral PDSE na Université Paris X (Nanterre, La Défense, França), que aconteceu entre setembro de 2014 e maio de 2015. Por fim, o quarto platô procura abordar, a partir da ótica da Esquizoanálise (DELEUZE; GUATTARI, 1995, 2010), uma conduta de construção literária a partir de uma linguagem multifacetada, híbrida, deslocada, insólita, etc., e que, em alguns casos, rompe com o sistema da língua a Esquizolinguagem , procurando nos textos de Artaud e Lispector algumas características possíveis desse procedimento esquizo de criação. Todavia, como indicado no título do trabalho, o que alcanço são apenas vislumbres e ecos dessa expressão de linguagem. Portanto, o movimento analítico exercitado no âmbito desta tese é o de territorializar algumas características dessa expressão esquizo que podem ser percebidas na produção desses autores, especificamente, nos textos escolhidos.
This research analyzes the literary writing procedures of Clarice Lispector and Antonin Artaud, in order to assert that these two authors exercise expressions from an experimental, defragmented, multifaced and hybrid language, which merges different signs unusually. Based on Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattaris studies French philosophers , I name these literary expressions as Schizolanguage. The text is divided into four parts, intended to be like plateaus a continuous, self-vibrating region of intensities whose development avoids any orientation toward a culmination point or external end (BATESON apud DELEUZE; GUATTARI, 1995, p. 33). Although it is a little paradoxical, since a thesis is supposed to create a discourse, if not unprecedented, original about some subject-matter, which implies to conceive conclusions, this research doesnt intent to establish a final theory about Artaud and Lispectors artistic productions, but explore the convergence zones between these authors, delineating the aesthetic discursive traces inside of chosen texts. In the first plateau, we follow A schizophrenic out for a walk (DELEUZE; GUATTARI, 2010, p. 12) through the capitalist machine, discussing about the confluences between the schizophrenia concept kept in this study and the language terrain where the schizophrenic subject is territorialized. The second plateau is the area of Clarice Lispectors intensities, recreating the language pathway inside her texts until getting to the painful writing process of Água viva (1973). In this section, I discuss about the (in)efficiency of the human language and the words scape to the painting, music, body language, silence, etc. I connect the discussion to some Lispectors paintings, intending to realize the authors aesthetic-literary project. The third plateau drafts the Antonin Artauds dynamic writing and the developing of the Theatre of Cruelty, also reflecting about the different signs evoked in his pictography (DERRIDA, 1998). The texts analyzed are Les sorts (1937-1939), Artaud le mômo (1947), Suppôts et suppliciations (1947) and 50 dessins pour assassiner la magie (1948) these texts were in the focus of my studies during the doctorate-stage PDSE in the University Paris West (Nanterre, La Défense, France), between september 2014 and may 2015. Finaly, the fourth plateau explores, based on the Schizoanalyze (DELEUZE; GUATTARI, 1995, 2010), a kind of literary production stemmed from a multifaced, hybrid, displaced, unusual language, which sometimes breaks even the system of the Langue the Schizolanguage , searching inside Artaud and Lispectors texts some possible features to comprehend this sort of creation procedure. However, as indicated by the thesiss title, I only got a fleeting glimpse and echoes of this demeanor of language. Thus, the analyzing movement of this study territorialize some aspects of this schizo expression, perceived in the authors artwork, specifically in the chosen texts.

Sendo componente da polícia Militar do Estado do Espírito Santo, carreira iniciada quando fui a academia de polícia militar do estado de Minas Gerais com vistas à realização do curso de Formação de Oficiais, tive a oportunidade de observar e atuar como policial na cidade de Belo Horizonte por um período de quatro anos. Depois de formado, apresentei-me para minhas atividades operacionais no Espírito Santo em fins de 1993 e já pude notar a forma diferente de ser e agir entre as duas corporações, apesar de executar um serviço que tem por característica universal a busca pela paz e pela tranquilidade social. Com o passar do tempo tive contato com uma nova modalidade de policiamento denominado Policiamento Interativo que preconiza modificações no modo agir dos policiais buscando a adoção de conceitos voltados para a cidadania e direitos humanos, iniciativa processada no interior da Policia Militar. N continuidade das minhas atividades operacionais e invariavelmente fazendo um paralelo entre as formas de agir das duas corporações policiais, vários questionamentos foram se acumulando, no que pretendo, no presente trabalho, adentrar no mundo do outro o cidadão para buscar sua visão de policia para prover sua segurança. Um marca que ficou tão logo pude manifestar minha observação acerca da polícia, quando ainda estudante - cadete, foi a repreensão ao escutar A polícia começara sua transformação tão logo os coronéis formados pela ditadura coloquem seus pijamas. Minha impressão, ao expressar, tal comentário era a de que as transformações democratizantes processadas pela nova condição política do país ainda não havia chegado a tropa, isso em 1990. A repreensão foi a confirmação.

El presente estudio muestra de qué manera la tragedia simbolista de Federico García Lorca -nos referimos a Bodas de sangre, Yerma, La casa de Bernarda Alba y Doña Rosita la soltera- sigue presente en la dramaturgia femenina española contemporánea. Con el propósito de crear un diálogo intertextual que nos permita ver en qué medida estas obras influyen en seis textos teatrales pertenecientes a la escena española más reciente: El color de agosto, 1987, de Paloma Pedrero (1957); Atra bilis (cuando estemos más tranquilas…), 2000, de Laila Ripoll (1964); El matrimonio de Palavrakis, 2000, de Angélica Liddell (1966), Como si fuera esta noche, 2002, de Gracia Morales (1973), Las voces de Penélope, 1996, de Itziar Pascual (1967); y Selección natural, 2007, de Pilar Campos Gallegos (1973). Todos ellos representados o editados entre las primeras décadas de la democracia, esto es, entre el «renacer» de la dramaturgia femenina (años 80) y el 2011, año en el que iniciamos nuestra investigación. El diálogo intertextual resultante presenta dos lecturas; una que presta atención a la temática de las obras y nos deja ver el conflicto dramático, el trazado psicológico y social de los personajes, la organización de la acción, del espacio y del tiempo. Y una segunda lectura que atiende al simbolismo del texto, a las imágenes que están dotadas de doble significación. Esta segunda lectura nunca es contradictoria de la primera, sino complementaria y muestra la hondura poética y la universalidad que contiene la obra, rasgos imposibles de trabajar en la primera lectura. Silenciadas durante siglos, es de esperar que su escritura se dedique/decante, en primer lugar, por cuestiones de género. Haciendo de su obra una acción combativa y política, de la que no hemos encontrado modelos femeninos anteriores, pero sí el teatro de Federico García Lorca. Con el que no sólo comparten la misma misión artística, esto es, el exterminio de la sociedad androcéntrica, sino, además, la extraordinaria capacidad de presentar un teatro impregnado de poesía, en el que combinan tradición y vanguardia y consiguen un teatro muy personal. El enfrentamiento entre el amor y el desamor, la vida y la muerte, la sociedad y el individuo, la vejez y la juventud, la fertilidad y la infertilidad,... entre muchos otros eternos opuestos, pueblan sus letras y por encima de todos, dos fuerzas que resumen sus obras: «principio de autoridad» y «principio de libertad». Puesto que, tanto Federico como las dramaturgas defienden por encima de todo la libertad personal, al derecho de escoger individualmente frente a las convenciones sociales aunque esto suponga una tragedia. Preocupación universal que afectaba a la época anterior a la II República y sigue afectando en la actualidad. Sin embargo, y aquí radica la diferencia, lo que verdaderamente separa los personajes de la dramaturgia lorquiana de los de las autoras contemporáneas es la impronta de una época que resolverá de manera bien distinta los conflictos de sus personajes. Lo interesante de este primer enfrentamiento que proponen sus escritos es reconocer entre líneas un segundo enfrentamiento que nada tiene que ver con su condición genérica, histórica y social, sino metafísica. Nos referimos al sentimiento trágico de la vida. De esta manera, pasan a ser las continuadoras de un pensamiento que entronca con la filosofía alemana del XIX y del existencialismo del XX. Reconociendo ese tiempo que se les escapa, esa desilusión que tiene el vivir, o lo que es lo mismo, ese sentimiento de desgarro que sufren al aceptar su esencia finita. Situándose, de este modo, en el territorio de lo trágico existencial, que es el mismo en el que se sitúan Federico García Lorca y los grandes escritores.
This study shows how the symbolist tragedy of Federico Garcia Lorca - specifically Bodas de Sangre, Yerma, La casa de Bernarda Alba and Doña Rosita la Soltera - is present in contemporary Spanish female drama. We have created an intertextual dialog which allows us to see to what extent these plays influence six theatrical texts belonging to the present-day Spanish scene: El color de agosto, 1987, by Paloma Pedrero (1957); Atra bilis (cuando estemos más tranquilas…), 2000, by Laila Ripoll (1964); El matrimonio de Palavrakis, 2000, by Angélica Liddell (1966), Como si fuera esta noche, 2002, by Gracia Morales (1973), Las voces de Penélope, 1996, by Itziar Pascual (1967); and Selección natural, 2007, by Pilar Campos Gallegos (1973). All of these plays have been produced or edited during the first decades of democracy, that is, between the renaissance of femenine dramaturgy (1980s) and 2011, which is when we began this investigation. The resulting intertextual dialog presents us with two possible readings; firstly, one which focusses on the plays' themes and looks at dramatic conflict, the characters' psychological and social outline, and the organization of action, space and time. Secondly we propose a reading which focusses on the text's symbolism, on the images which are full of double meanings This second reading is not contradictory to the first, rather it complements it, showing the poetic depth and universality contained in the play, features which are impossible to derive from the first reading. Silenced for centuries, it is no surprise that these women's writing focusses primarily on the question of gender, making their work a militant and political action the like of which we have not seen in previous female authors. This aspect is, however, clearly present in the work of Federico García Lorca, with whom the authors not only share an artistic mission - the downfall of male-centred society - but also the extraordinary capacity to present a theatre steeped in poetry where tradition and modernity combine to create a very personal creation. The interesting thing about this first reading offered by their works is to recognize between the lines a second reading, which has nothing to do with the writers' gender or socio-historical condition, but rather is related to their metaphysical condition, namely the tragedy of life. In this way, these writers are representatives of an idea which connects both with 19th-century German philosophy and the Existentialism of the twentieth century, recognizing that time escapes them, that life is disappointment, and the ripping sensation which they suffer upon accepting their mortality, placing themselves thus alongside great writers such as Federico García Lorca in the territory of existential tragedy.

A presença de ambientes de e-Learning na academia e nas empresas é uma realidade e há uma forte tendência de crescimento de seu uso devido a vantagens como flexibilidade e custo. Juntam-se a isso características como aprendizado informal, por meio de dispositivos móveis e ao longo da vida e a crescente disponibilidade de recursos educacionais na web e em dispositivos móveis com alto nível de qualidade. Para acompanhar essa evolução, as organizações responsáveis pelos ambientes de e-Learning investem para desenvolver recursos e serviços educacionais, muitas vezes equivalentes em mais de uma plataforma, dificultando a inovação e o compartilhamento dos mesmos. Neste cenário, é quase inviável que uma única organização consiga incorporar todas as inovações do domínio educacional. Essa dissertação apresenta o BROAD-ECOS, uma abordagem sob a perspectiva de Ecossistemas de e-Learning que identifica indivíduos, comunidades, organizações e recursos de software nesse ambiente e define uma arquitetura para transformar ambientes de e-Learning existentes em plataformas que permitam a integração de serviços educacionais externos e favoreçam o desenvolvimento, compartilhamento e reúso de serviços educacionais compatíveis em um contexto inter-organizacional. Para tal, esses serviços possuem controle do nível de integração e suporte a um modelo comum que permite a interoperabilidade entre diferentes fornecedores, além de serem baseados em padrões abertos, bibliotecas comuns e documentação acessível. A avaliação da proposta foi feita em duas etapas. Primeiro, os elementos do ecossistema identificados foram validados por meio de um questionário aplicado a profissionais com experiência em e-Learning, tanto da academia quanto da área de treinamento empresarial. Depois foram realizados cenários de uso para avaliar os artefatos desenvolvidos quanto aos objetivos propostos, o que se justifica pela necessidade de demonstrar a viabilidade técnica dos conceitos e das tecnologias envolvidas em um contexto real de utilização. Os resultados obtidos apresentam indícios da viabilidade da proposta.
The use of Virtual Learning Environments in academic and corporative training is a real fact and there is a strong trend of growing because of advantages such as flexibility and cost. Besides that features as informal learning through mobile devices and lifelong learning, and the increasing availability of high quality educational resources on the web and on mobile devices must be considered. To keep up with this evolution, the organizations responsible for e-learning environments invest to develop educational resources and services, frequently equivalent in more than one platform, hindering innovation and sharing. In this scenario, it is almost impossible that a single organization incorporates all the innovations in the educational domain. This dissertation presents, in the perspective of Software Ecosystem, the BROAD-ECOS approach, identifying individuals, communities, organizations and software resources that comprise them, and defining an infrastructure to turn the existing Virtual Learning Environments into platforms that allow the integration of external educational services, promoting the development, sharing and reuse of compatible educational services in an inter-organizational context. These services have control of the integration level and support for a common model, which enables interoperability among different providers, and are based on open standards, common libraries and accessible documentation. The evaluation of the proposal was done in two steps. The first one validated the ecosystem elements by means of a questionnaire, applied to professionals with experience in e-Learning, both from academia and business training area. Then, scenarios were performed to evaluate the artifacts considering the proposed goals, justified by the need to demonstrate the technical feasibility of concepts and technologies involved in a real context of use. The results showed the feasibility of the proposal.

O objetivo desta dissertação é verificar como se deu o registro da história de uma prática ancestral como a capoeira que, a despeito de ter-se originado nas senzalas no período colonial, ainda não teve o devido reconhecimento social. Dadas as lacunas desse registro, foram entrevistados alguns mestres de capoeira com extensa experiência na transmissão dessa cultura com o objetivo de reconstruir, por meio de suas narrativas de vida, as contribuições dessa prática ancestral para a formação de gerações de jovens afrodescendentes. Embora as Leis Federais 10.639/03 e 11.645/08 reconheçam sua importância histórica, cultural e política e a considere fundamental para a formação das novas gerações, prevendo, além disso, sua introdução nas escolas, sua prática ainda encontra obstáculos nesse âmbito. Daí serem propostas, como parte da pesquisa, experiências de docência compartilhada de capoeira na Escola de Aplicação FEUSP, visando contribuir para a formação de professores para o ensino da história e cultura afro-brasileira e africana. O conceito de reconhecimento nos planos subjetivo, jurídico e cultural defendido por Axel Honneth, bem como a reconstrução da história da capoeira nos estados de São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro e Bahia, como parte das lutas de resistência dos escravizados no Brasil, foram essenciais para interpretar o conteúdo crítico das letras das músicas e o significado simbólico do jogo da capoeira e de seus rituais, além de contribuir para o reconhecimento de uma cultura afro-brasileira amplamente difundida em praticamente todos os continentes.
The objective of this project was to research on how the history of an ancient practice, such as capoeira, was registered. In spite of having originated at the slave quarters in the colonial period, the capoeira has not yet seen its social recognition. . Due to the gaps within such registration, we have interviewed some capoeira masters with extensive experience in the transmission of its culture aiming at rebuilding, the capoeira contributions to the upbringing of generations of African descendant youngsters. Although the Federal Laws 10.639/03 and 11.645/08 which recognizes the historical, cultural and political importance of capoeira, and considers it crucial for the formation of new generations, foreseeing its implementation in schools, its practice still faces obstacles in this scope. Therefore, we propose as part of the research, experiences of shared teaching of capoeira at FEUSP\'S Application School, seeking to contribute to the teachers\' formation for the teaching of history and Afro-Brazilian and African culture. The concept of recognition - in the subjective, legal and cultural perspectives, defended by Axel Honneth, as well as the reconstruction of the history of capoeira in the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Bahia. It as part of the enslaved resistance in Brazil, were essential to interpret the critical content of the lyrics and the symbolic meaning of the game of capoeira and its rituals. They also contributed to the recognition of a widespread Afro-Brazilian culture on practically all the continents.
