Seres, Ildiko. « Édition critique et commentaire du Mystère des Actes des Apôtres (première et deuxième journée) ». Paris 4, 2005. http://www.theses.fr/2005PA040236.
Texte intégralThe present thesis in 3 volumes tries to make up, at least partially, for the absence up to the present of any critical edition of the Mystery of the Acts of the Apostles, a monumental work of approximately 60 000 lines written during the 15th century, preserved in two manuscripts and three editions of the 16th century. The first part presents the results of our research as to the identity of the author and the date of composition of the text. The study and the comparison of the manuscripts and the editions of the work, as well as the question of the choice of the reference text for our edition are equally included. This section, where we also deal with the representations of the play, is completed by a literary and dramaturgic study. The second part contains the established text for the first two days of the mystery play, that is approximately 12 000 lines. The third part provides notes concerning the text, a selection of alternatives, a list of the characters with lines distribution, an index of proper names, a glossary, a list of expressions and proverbs, as well as a bibliography. This volume also includes 13 additional documents and 23 plates
Tondi, Andrea. « Histoire des Albigeois (deuxième moitié du XVe siècle) : édition critique et étude de langue ». Thesis, Paris Sciences et Lettres (ComUE), 2019. http://www.theses.fr/2019PSLEP014.
Texte intégralThe Histoire des Albigeois (The Albigesian History), better known as the prosification of the Chanson de la croisade contres les Albigeois, is a text ignored by the literary criticism. The text, in its Version 1 (known before as Version L), which is the subject of this dissertation, was transmitted by three manuscripts between the 16th and 17th centuries. These are: P (Paris, Bibliothèque Nationale de France, fr. 4975), C (Carpentras, Bibliothèque Municipale Inguimbertine, 1829) with the same gap of the precedent codex, and T (Toulouse, Bibliothèque Municipale de Toulouse, ms. 608), the only complete manuscript. In addition, there is also the Rédaction 2, transmitted by the manuscript marked Me and preserved in the Merville’s château. This latter version was edited by Dirk Hoekstra in 1998. The Version 1, in turn, collects two sub-versions: the first one is Version 1 Long (P, C), from which the second one derives, i.e. Version 1 Short (T), that considerably shortens the text, by removing the repetitions (subjects, adjectives etc.) but preserving every element necessary for the storytelling. The Histoire‘s language is the XV century occitan, far from the Troubabours’ language of the 12th and 13th centuries and displaying some Latin and French influences. The origin of the text is to be located in the East Languedoc, especially the East Toulousain, Quercy, Rouergue, Albigeois and Hérault. In addition, the text offers others linguistics elementes, related to Eastern Alps and Spain. The Latin influence, the quote from the Codex Iuris Civilis, the intellectual context depicted by the jurists of the Toulouse’s parliament, the information purpose: these are the elements that lead us to consider the Histoire a book of history written by an anonymous author for his contemporaries. In this book, all main characters (crusaders, southern allies and clerics) are judged the same positive way, with the only exception of Folquet de Marseille, bishop of Toulouse, represented in a negative way

Texte intégralThe purpose of this study is to capture the phenomenon of lexical borrowings from French as they have been validated by being introduced into the DRAE22. The studies examines first the motivations for borrowing : progressive enrichment of the French lexicon and its chronological and thematic impact on Spanish, continuous contacts between the two languages in the course of time, and other linguistic and extra-linguistic reasons. In the second part, the investigation focuses on the various aspects of the procedure to adapt French loanwords from the graphical, phonetic, morpho-syntactic and semantic point of view. Finally and in the light of the latest movements observed in this edition of the academic dictionary (both integrations and removals), the study tries to identify the criteria applied when introducing French loanwords into or eliminating them, and then to anticipate the future developments, with suggestions about items eligible for adoption in the near future (already in high numbers in present-day descriptive lexicography) and also about predictable extinctions

Texte intégralThis thesis focuses on the Dictionnaire universel of 1701. The Dictionnaire universel was compiled by Antoine Furetière in 1690 and revised by Henri Basnage de Beauval in 1701. Basnage's edition evolves from Furetière's in several respects. In addition to increasing the number of entries and enriching the existing entries with more precise content, Basnage introduces a number of lexicographical details that Furetière had not taken into account. These include writers’ quotations, usage labels containing the lexicographer's judgements on the frequency of words and the axes of linguistic variation, grammatical elements such as verbal inflections and syntactic constructions, indications concerning spelling and pronunciation, and discussions of language experts. The result is a descriptive and encyclopaedic work which at the same time helps the reader to decode the texts, while guiding his or her linguistic choices in the encoding phase. In addition to highlighting the orthographic innovations in relation to Furetière's work, we examine both the macrostructure and the microstructure of the work. As far as the macrostructure is concerned, the analysis of domain designations gives an idea of the specialised lexicons to which Basnage, after Furetière, gives importance. As for the microstructure, the study of two of the most significant elements of the revision, masterfully framed in a refined architecture, namely the quotations and the usage labels, reveals the author's pedagogical and sociolinguistic intentions. As far as the lexicon is concerned, the analysis of the pictorial field and of the part of the grammar devoted to the parts of speech shows the use of certain sectorial and linguistic sources. The study of Basnage's Dictionnaire universel highlights not only the often unresolved questions the lexicographer was confronted with, but also the dynamics and actors of the French and European cultural scene of the 17th century. More specifically, it invites to look at the reference works of the time, on which the dictionary is based. This thesis is rooted in a project to digitise the "Basnage", which has gradually been extended to the works upstream (the "Furetière") and downstream (the "Trévoux"), thus providing a basis for much future research
