Résumé :
This study aims to reveal the concept of the role of nature from the view of Malays based on the type in Dikalahkan Sang Sapurba romance by Ediruslan Pe Amanriza. The method used is analytical descriptive with reference to environmental ethics and Kluckhohn. Data, in the form of sentences or paragraph quotes from romances, are classified and analyzed to obtain a complete understanding of environmental issues based on the concept of the role of nature. The results of the analysis show that the role of nature, which is believed to be both magical and real, will determine the form of identity of its social control. Magical roles provide sacred nature as a form of ecocentricism, while the real role symbolizesthat nature can be mastered or opposed which reflects the form of anthropocentrism from the perspective of environmental ethics. This study also shows that the real role is more dominant than the occult role so the end of the story is shown by the form of sad ending.

Romancemerupakan genre fiksi populer yang mengisahkan percintaan di antara dua tokoh (umumnya heteroseksual), yang mengalami permasalahan dalam relasi mereka, namun dapat diselesaikan, dan cerita pun berakhir bahagia. Formula tersebut bersifat konvensional dan menetap. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memverifikasi formula romanceyang terdapat di dalam Perfect Romancekarya Indah Hanaco. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pendekatan analisis struktural dan kritik sastra feminis. Data berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat dikumpulkan dari novel tersebut dengan teknik studi pustaka dan dikaji dengan landasan teoritis yang relevan. Teori-teori tentang formula dan romancediapropriasi di antaranya dari gagasan Cawelti, Radway, dan Modleski. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, unsur-unsur konstruktif teks naratif yaitu alur, tokoh, dan latar pada novel Perfect Romancememenuhi kriteria formula romance. Alur bersifat progresif, memenuhi ketiga belas sekuen romance,ada rintangan dalam percintaan, dan kisah yang berakhir bahagia. Meskipun terungkap adanya deviasi, yaitu cerita yang terpusat pada tokoh laki-laki, serta status tokoh perempuan yang pernah menikah, penokohan dalam novel tersebut relatif sesuai dengan formula romance. Kehidupan masyarakat urban serta nilai-nilai tentang keluarga yang mapan dan normatif menjadi latar ‘sihir’ dari percintaan kedua protagonis.

Key digested messageHiding behind a smartphone screen, online dating applications provide a playground of opportunity for fraudsters and scammers. With ease of access to artificial intelligence, the technological capabilities of nefarious individuals are quickly growing. From sophisticated chatbots designed to engage in conversations and extract personal data, to deepfake technology used to create convincing false personas. This article summarises the current and upcoming risks which artificial intelligence poses to dating application and social media users. Deepfake technology is a key risk; the world is experiencing greater use of attractive deepfake images to convince dating app users into involvement in a romance scam, face-swaps to target and blackmail social media users with their intimate images, and instant generation of child sexual abuse material. Other risks include stalkers tracking their victims with greater ease, and individuals downloading nefarious dating applications which utilise chatbots to gather information and get paid. Gaps in empirical research are identified and discussed.

ABSTRAK Sastra populer adalah sebuah fenomena budaya yang bersifat temporal serta adanya keseragaman bentuk yang terjadi pada perkembangan sastra di Indonesia. Salah satu genre sastra populer adalah novel populer. Novel Hijab Traveller : Love Spark In Korea merupakan salah satu novel terkenal. Novel yang sangat populer hingga di angkat ke layar lebar. Novel ini menjadi salah satu novel yang booming dari seorang penulis bernama Asma Nadia. Novel popular bertema percintaan namun menyuguhkan unsur agama yang sangat kental walaupun ini bukan cerita yang dibawa serius. Data penelitian ini berupa tuturan tokoh dan kalimat atau paragraf yang masuk dalam kategori formula romance. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode qualitative-descriptive research. Novel berjudul Hijab Traveller : Love Spark In Korea karya Asma nadia memenuhi kriteria sebagai suatu karya romance dalam pengertiannya yang paling sederhana. Namun dari sisi jalan ceritanya situasi awal dan akhir dari novel Hijab Traveller : Love Spark In Korea ini memang tidak memenuhi formulasi romansa, tetapi plot-plot yang membangun cerita telah mendukungnya. Kemudian Berdasarkan penokohan tokoh utama dalam romance formula sudah tergambar pada tokoh utamanya. Kata Kunci : Sastra Populer, Romance formula, Novel populer ABSTRACT Popular literature is a cultural phenomenon that is temporal in nature as well as the uniformity of forms that occur in the development of literature in Indonesia. One of the popular literary genres is the popular novel. Hijab Traveler: Love Spark In Korea is a famous novel. The novel was so popular that it was picked up to the big screen. This novel is one of the booming novels of a writer named Asma Nadia. A popular novel on the theme of romance, however, presents a very strong religious element even though this is not a story to be taken seriously. The data of this research are in the form of character speeches and sentences or paragraphs that fall into the romance formula category. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive research method. The novel entitled Hijab Traveler: Love Spark In Korea by Asma Nadia fulfills the criteria as a work of romance in its simplest sense. However, in terms of the storyline, the initial and final situation of the Hijab Traveler: Love Spark In Korea novel does not fulfill the romance formula, but the plots that build the story have supported it. Then based on the characterization of the main character in the romance formula, the main character has already been drawn. Keywords: Popular Literature, Romance formula, Popular Novel

In today's digital era, the threat of moral damage to teenagers is not only caused by drinking, narcotics, but also narkolema. Narkolema is defined as human addiction to watching or accessing pornography through the eyes. This study aims to: (1) analyze pornographic scenes in Korean dramas, (2) analyze the causes and effects of addiction to watching pornographic scenes in Korean romance dramas. This study uses a qualitative approach and a descriptive research type as a methodological basis. Data collection was carried out on college students from Malang who are students. This research was obtained from primary and secondary data. Research data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research show that there are scenes that are considered pornographic in the Korean romance drama entitled Fanta G Spot and Nevertheless, namely bed scenes that show uncovered breasts and buttocks, masturbation activities, and similar relationships. The causes of college students watching pornographic scenes in Korean romance dramas include storylines that are packaged attractively and dynamically played by beautiful characters, looking for entertainment to get rid of boredom from the routine they live in, getting references such as education on relationship behavior with the opposite sex, feeling happier after watching, as well as sexual education. As a result, the perception of adolescents with pornographic aspects found in Romance Drakor becomes two opinions or two points of view. The first opinion is positive that accepts the existence of pornographic aspects in Romance Drakor as part of the elements of entertainment, art and education and does not view these pornographic aspects as elements that can have a negative impact. The second opinion is a negative point of view that accepts the existence of pornographic aspects in Romance Drakor that are considered to be part of the elements of the storyline which are packaged beautifully and cinematically and can have a negative impact with a different percentage for each individual watching. Di era digital saat ini, ancaman kerusakan moral remaja tidak hanya disebabkan oleh minum-minuman keras, narkotika, namun juga narkolema. Narkolema diartikan sebagai kecanduan manusia menonton atau mengakses pornografi lewat mata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menganalisis adegan pornografi dalam drama korea , (2) Menganalisis sebab dan akibat kecanduan menonton adegan pornografi drama korea romance. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif yang digunakan sebagai landasan metodologis. Pengambilan data dilakukan di kota malang pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini didapat dari data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat adegan yang termasuk pornografi dalam drama korea romance dengan judul Fanta G Spot dan Nevertheless yaitu adegan ranjang yang memperlihatkan buah dada dan pantat tanpa penutup, kegiatan masturbasi, serta hubungan sejenis. Penyebab mahasiswa menonton adegan pornografi dalam drama korea romance diantaranya yaitu jalan cerita yang dikemas menarik dan tidak monoton ditambah lagi tokohnya yang rupawan, mencari hiburan untuk menghilangkan kejenuhan dari rutinitas yang mereka jalani, mendapatkan referensi ilmu seperti edukasi perilaku relationship dengan lawan jenis, merasa lebih happy setelah menonton, serta edukasi seksual. Akibat dari mahasiswa menonton drama korea romance terdapat aspek pornografi yang ada pada drakor romance. Terbagi menjadi dua pendapat atau dua sudut pandang yaitu yang pertama sudut pandang positif yaitu pornografi sebagai unsur hiburan, edukasi, dan seni yang dalam artian pendapat menerima keberadaan pornografi dalam drakor romance dan tidak memandang pornografi memberikan dampak negatif. Kedua adalah memandang bahwa pornografi memberikan dampak negatif dengan persentase yang berbeda tiap personal yang menonton. Pendapat menerima keberadaan pornografi dalam drakor romance dan menganggap pornografi bagian dari unsur alur cerita yang dikemas secara sistematik dan indah.

Em Das nackte Auge, Yoko Tawada conta a história de uma jovem vietnamita que, devido a um engano, desembarca na cidade de Paris, onde, impossibilitada de se comunicar com o mundo exterior, encontra no cinema, mais especificadamente nas personagens interpretadas por Catherine Deneuve, um local de refúgio e identificação. As narrativas dos filmes vistos pela personagem contaminam de forma progressiva a narrativa do romance, culminando no último capítulo intitulado Dancer in the Dark, referência ao filme de Lars von Trier, cuja interferência cria uma terceira narrativa. Tal construção intermidiática, típica da literatura contemporânea, é apresentada no romance com o objetivo de suscitar questões acerca da identidade do sujeito do tempo presente e do seu olhar (desnudo) sobre o estranho, o estrangeiro.

Burung Dara tells the story of a couple teenage who having relationship beyond the bounds of the norm. The author uses a haptic visuality approach combined with emotional rhythm editing techniques to amplify emotions and give a touch-like sensation to the visuals of teenage love through a 27-minute film with a drama genre.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh workplace romance terhadap kepuasan pernikahan karyawan. Lokasi yang digunakan untuk penelitian adalah Yayasan X. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan di Yayasan X yang memiliki pasangan satu tempat kerja yang berjumlah 254 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 72 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling acak sederhana. Skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu skala workplace romance yang disusun oleh Khan, Jianguo, Usman, & Ahmad (2017) dan Skala Kepuasan Pernikahan berdasarkan aspek-aspek kepuasan pernikahan dari Fowers & Olson (1993). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh workplace romance terhadap kepuasan pernikahan. Besar pengaruh workplace romance terhadap kepuasan pernikahan sebanyak 24.6%, sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Pendekatan metodologis yang digunakan adalah analisis struktural dengan perspektif kajian sastra feminis. Landasan teoretis yang menjadi kerangka penelitian ini di antaranya gagasan Radway, Modlesky, serta Gill dan Herdierckerhoff, yang diapropriasi untuk mengupas aspek-aspek naratif romance yang meliputi alur, tokoh, dan sudut pandang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada penyimpangan formulasi terutama pada komponen alur dan sudut pandang meskipun novel ini berakhir bahagia sesuai dengan pola romance. Bila genre romance umumnya berfokus pada protagonis perempuan seabagai penggerak cerita, novel Elle et Lui (dan juga ternyata pada novel-novel Marc Lévy lainnya) cenderung berpusat pada protagonis laki-laki yang meskipun digambarkan memiliki kelemahan, namun tetap berkarakter pahlawan dan teladan. Narator pada novel tersebut merupakan orang ketiga tunggal yang maha tahu dan dapat berada di beberapa tempat sekaligus, sehingga tidak sesuai dengan formulasi romance standar. Deviasi yang terjadi dapat diargumentasikan sebagai strategi Marc Lévy untuk keluar dari formulasi standar sebuah novel romance yang pada umumnya ditulis oleh perempuan, dan juga karena karakter penulisannya yang sinematografis.

Kisah Panji merupakan sastra lisan yang bercerita tentang kisah cinta Raden Panji Asmarabangun, seorang putra mahkota Kerajaan Jenggala, dengan Dewi Sekartaji seorang putri Kerajaan Panjalu. Perjalanan romantika kedua tokoh ini tidak berjalan dengan mulus, namun banyak terjadi petualangan dan penyamaran sehingga kisah Panji ini tersebar dengan berbagai macam versi berupa dongeng dan cerita rakyat lainnya. Cerita Panji ditampilkan dalam bentuk karya sastra dan seni pertunjukan. Cerita ini juga muncul dalam beragam versi. Perbedaan versi tersebut secara umum disebabkan oleh kreativitas personal penyadur, kelenturan cerita dalam bentuk tradisi lisan, dan pengadaptasian cerita pada mitos dan legenda di setiap daerah persebarannya. Dari beragam jenis cerita yang dipentaskan oleh berbagai daerah, Malang merupakan salah satu daerah yang memiliki kesenian khas yaitu wayang topeng Malang. Wayang topeng adalahsebuah pertunjukan jenis drama yang mengedepankan aspek tari sebagai sajian utamanya dan dalang sebagai pengatur cerita. Setiap penari memakai topeng yang berbeda sesaui dengan karakter yang dimainkannya. Kesenian wayang topeng Malang telah menjadi kesenian yang melekat di masyarakat daerah Malang sejak dahulu dan menjadi bagian identitas masyarakat Malang. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis memaparkan bagaimana proses perancangan video seni dengan berdasarkan pada cerita wayang topeng Malang dengan judul “Panji Romance”.

The novel is a thrilling paranormal set in London, published by HarperCollins in 2012. The novel was the New York Times Best Seller and also dubbed as “The Sexiest Romance You’ll Read This Year”. The purpose of this study is to find out the translation technique that the translator used in translating verbal abuse. This study is descriptive and qualitative in nature by doing an analysis of documents and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). The findings of the study showed that 12 techniques were used by the translator to translate the verbal abuse in The Dark Heroine: Dinner With A Vampire; established equivalent, variation, explicitation, pure borrowing, implicitation, modulation, compensation, reduction, generalization, deletion, reduction, paraphrase, and transposition.

While W.E.B. Du Bois’s first novel, The Quest of the Silver Fleece (1911), is set squarely in the USA, his second work of fiction, Dark Princess: A Romance (1928), abandons this national framework, depicting the treatment of African Americans in the USA as embedded into an international system of economic exploitation based on racial categories. Ultimately, the political visions offered in the novels differ starkly, but both employ a Western literary canon – so-called ‘classics’ from Greek, German, English, French, and US American literature. With this, Du Bois attempts to create a new space for African Americans in the world (literature) of the 20th century. Weary of the traditions of this ‘world literature’, the novels complicate and begin to decenter the canon that they draw on. This reading traces what I interpret as subtle signs of frustration over the limits set by the literature that underlies Dark Princess, while its predecessor had been more optimistic in its appropriation of Eurocentric fiction for its propagandist aims.

This study aims to reveal the formulation of romance in chick lit Beauty Case (2005), the second work of Icha Rahmanti after Cintapuccino (2004). The methodological approach used is the study of feminist literature and structural analysis methods. Because chick lit always discusses women, the theoretical foundation of this research must be linked to women's perspectives, includes the ideas of Radway, Modlesky, Gill and Herdierckerhoff who were used to explore the narrative aspects of romance formulation, which included plots, characterization, and point of view. The results show that (1) although chick lit is a romance subgenre, the novel Beauty Case storyline does not follow the normative narrative standard of romance because there are changing plots. However, the end of the novel follows the romance formulation, which ends happily; (2) the main female figure in the novel does not really make a search for true love, but rather searches for identity. In addit ion, the portrayal of male characters also does not follow the formulation of romance that has exemplary characters; (3) the storyteller in this novel is the first single person, the main female figure, with an intimate, subjective, and limited nature of storytelling, according to the formulation of romance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap formulasi romance dalam chick lit Beauty Case (2005), karya kedua Icha Rahmanti setelah Cintapuccino (2004). Pendekatan metodologis yang digunakan adalah kajian sastra feminis dengan metode analisis struktural. Karena chick lit selalu membahas perempuan, landasan teoretis yang menjadi kerangka penelitian ini harus dikaitkan dengan perspektif perempuan, di antaranya gagasan Radway, Modlesky, serta Gill dan Herdierckerhoff yang digunakan untuk mengupas aspek-aspek naratif dari formulasi romance, yang meliputi pengaluran, penokohan, dan sudut pandang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) walaupun chick lit merupakan subgenre romance, tetapi alur cerita novel Beauty Case tidak mengikuti standar narasi normatif romance karena ada beberapa plot yang berubah. Namun demikian, bagian akhir novel ini mengikuti formulasi romance, yaitu berakhir dengan bahagia; (2) tokoh utama perempuan pada novel tersebut tidak benar-benar melakukan usaha pencarian cinta sejati, melainkan pencarian identitas diri. Selain itu, penggambaran tokoh laki-laki juga tidak mengikuti formulasi romance yang memiliki karakter teladan; dan (3) pencerita dalam novel ini adalah orang pertama tunggal, tokoh utama perempuan, dengan sifat penceritaan yang intim, subjektif, dan terbatas, sesuai dengan formulasi romance.

The article examines the largely forgotten British émigré film Dark Journey, its Swedish setting and Scandinavian release. The spy drama, which tells the story of German and French secret agents in Stockholm during World War I by mixing thriller elements with romance, raises a number of questions regarding the representation of spies in a Scandinavian context, Sweden as a contested film market in the later 1930s and the transnational production strategy of films made at the Denham studios in Britain. It is one of the films that helped the profession of secret agents to change its image from a dingy and unchivalrous activity to an adventurous, illustrious and cosmopolitan enterprise. Interestingly, the film offers a very positive portrayal of its German protagonist, played by Conrad Veidt, that is at odds with other Anglo-American spy films but not at all uncommon for Swedish spy fiction.

What, if anything, does opera tell us about leadership, leaders and followers, that social research or indeed other art forms do not tell us? This is the question I address here. I argue that opera is a highly political genre, able to depict political events involving leaders and followers in sharply illuminating ways. In particular, through the device of the chorus it is able to represent the political actions and sentiments of large multitudes of people in their complexity and ambiguity. It is also capable of portraying many of the contradictions of leadership in a critical light. In particular, I argue that opera offers powerful insights into the psychology of leaders confronted by crisis and strife. It highlights the sacrifices they make, the distance and isolation that frequently afflicts them, the different ways in which they wield power and handle conflicts and the tensions between their private and public lives. In showing them meting out favours and punishments, opera warns of rulers’ perennial temptation to abuse their power and highlights some of the dark sides of leadership.

Interpretation in literary works is very open. The problem examined in this study is the looking for meaning that related to the plague and isolation that exists in the romance ‘La Peste’. So, this research aims to provide a view of the relationship of the text in literary works and describe the content by the realities of Paul Ricoeur hermeneutics studies through descriptive methods. The results of the analysis of the romance ‘La Peste’ are divided into two parts, namely sens and reference. With this analysis, the romance ‘La Peste’ is easier to be understand both in terms of intrinsic and the relationship of meaning in the text with the realities of life.Sastra adalah sebuah karya yang terbuka terhadap interpretasi dan penafsiran. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah pencarian makna terkait wabah dan isolasi yang ada dalam roman La Peste. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini yaitu memberikan pandangan terhadap hubungan teks dalam karya sastra serta mendeskripsikan isinya sesuai dengan realitas kehidupan dengan menggunakan kajian hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur melalui metode deskriptif. Hasil analisis roman La Peste terbagi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu sens dan reference. "Dare to Think, Dare to Speak, Dare to Act - Translating Political Slogans in Mo Yan’s Frog from Chinese into Romanian, Italian and Spanish. Slogans are some of the most typical elements of Chinese politics and a significant part of the important decisions took by the Communist Party are made known to the masses using slogans, such as “It is right to rebel!”, “Destroy the four olds!”, or “The most serious problem is to teach the peasants”. Participation in political life after the founding of the People’s Republic, in 1949, could be done only by employing slogans or formulae derived from the elite political discourse. The major impact of politics upon people’s lives has transformed the slogan from a manifestation of political authority into a manipulation tool used by people to make their counterparts react in a desired way. Mo Yan’s novel Frog (Wa/Broaște/Rana/Le rane) shows to what extent slogans can influence ordinary people’s lives, where the use of real political slogans or even make-believe slogans – discourse modeled to resemble a political slogan –, are either attempts by the characters to make their voices heard and participate into decision making, or small acts of rebellion against the system. Considering the culture specific character of the slogans, the fact that they were created into a very particular socio-political context, the paper analyzes the translations of the slogans in Mo Yan’s novel into three Romance languages, in an attempt to identify not only the techniques and the choices made by the translators, but also the possibility, or impossibility, to recreate the slogan and conserve its original impact into the target culture. Historical novel translation requires an advanced competence of translator in relation with the translation quality: how accurate, clear, and readable the translator tries to deliver the writer’s original message to his/her translation version for the readers. The more accurate, clear, and readable the translator’s version is, the easier comprehension of the text will be. This paper was an outline of descriptive research which has been conducted to analyze the translation quality assessment in translating historical romance novel Taj: A Story of Mughal India into Taj: Tragedi Di Balik Tanda Cinta Abadi by Maria M. Lubis. There were three variables factors used; the two novels as objective factor, the translator as genetic factor, and the raters as affective factor to analyze, compare, rate, and score the translation quality. The sentences, clauses, phrases that consisted Indian cultural terms from the two novels were chosen as the data. From the analysis, it was found that the translation quality of this translated novel is accurate, high clear, and high readable obviously effected by an eligible translator who has high level competence and performance in translating the novel.Keywords: translation, historical romance novel, accuracy, clarity, and readability. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang mengidentifikasi dan menggambarkan penilaian kualitas penerjemahan. Seberapa akurat, jelas, dan terbaca novel terjemahan Taj: A Story of Mughal India menjadi Taj: Tragedi Di Balik Tanda Cinta Abadi oleh Maria M. Lubis. Ada tiga faktor variabel yang digunakan; kedua novel sebagai faktor objektif, penerjemah sebagai faktor genetik, dan tim penilai sebagai faktor afektif untuk menganalisis, membandingkan, menilai, dan memberi angka kualitas terjemahan. Kalimat, klausa, ungkapan-ungkapan yang terdiri dari istilah budaya India dari kedua novel dipilih sebagai data. Dari analisis tersebut, ditemukan bahwa kualitas terjemahan novel yang diterjemahkan ini akurat, sangat jelas, dan mudah dibaca, yang dipengaruhi oleh kepakaran dan kompetensi kinerja dalam menerjemahkan novel tersebut. Abstract. With the increasing number of K-Pop or Korean Pop fans in Indonesia, it will also increase the effect or influence that the people will get. Not only regarding negative influences, there are also positive things from its influence, namely the inspiration of K-Pop fans or what is often called K-Popers so that they can produce works in book form, or rather romance books. Therefore, this research was conducted, in order to find out what things from K-Pop can inspire the K-popers community to work, the process of making works that the book writers from the K-Popers community went through, and the reasons why books are the choice for channeling inspiration and work. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The research used a purposive sampling technique to select research subjects, and data collection techniques by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. In this study, the results were obtained which could be concluded that the writers of the K-Popers community were inspired through several factors, namely because of their own preferences, the nature, attitude and mindset of K-Pop idols, and visuals. The process of making his own work occurs after getting inspiration through the factors mentioned earlier which are obtained through his favorite Idol shows, but for the formation of characters, the determination of the storyline is determined by the writer. The choice of the book itself is due to the backgrounds of the different writers, but all of them have the same interest in writing and have the opportunity to turn their work into a novel. Abstrak. Dengan semakin banyaknya penggemar K-Pop atau Korean Pop di Indonesia, hal itu membuat semakin bertambahnya juga efek atau pengaruh yang akan didapatkan masyarakatnya. Tak hanya mengenai pengaruh negatif, adapula hal positif dari pengaruhnya adalah Terinspirasinya para penggemar K-Pop atau yang sering disebut K-Popers sehingga bisa menghasilkan karya dalam bentuk buku, atau lebih tepatnya buku romance. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan, agar mengetahui apa saja yang saja dari K-Pop yang dapat menginspirasi komunitas K-popers untuk berkarya, Proses pembuatan Karya yang dilalui oleh penulis buku dari komunitas K-Popers., dan alasan buku menjadi pilihan untuk menyalurkan inspirasi dan berkarya. Penelitian ini menggunakkan metode penelitian Kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian menggunakkan teknik purposive sampling untuk memilih subjek penelitian, dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan Dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini kemudian didapatkan hasil yang bisa disimpulkan bahwa para penulis komunitas K-Popers terinspirasi melalui beberapa faktor yakni karena kegemarannya sendiri, sifat, sikap dan pola pikir yang dimiliki Idol K-Pop, dan visual. Proses pembuatan karyanya sendiri terjadi setelah mendapatkan inspirasi melalui faktor yang sudah disebutkan tadi yang mana didapat melalui tayangan Idol kesukaannya, namun untuk pembentukan karakter, penentuan jalan cerita ditentukan oleh sang penulis. Pemilihan buku sendiri dikarenakan latar belakang dari penulis yang berbeda-beda, namun semua memiliki ketertarikan yang sama dalam menulis dan memiliki kesempatan menjadikan karya mereka menjadi sebuah karya Novel.

<p>This research focuses on the representation of feminism contained in Chrisye's song "Go Love". The development of the times is increasingly rapid but feminism is still in an alarming scope. The difference in treating women and men still tends to be different, and far from being equal even though women have sacrificed. The use of words in the song "Go, Love" which tends to represent women has everything needed in expressing women's struggles. This data was taken using qualitative research methods with descriptive techniques. The purpose of this study is to understand the representation of feminism in the song "Go Love". At the time of data analysis, it was found that there was feminism with existentialist currents. There is also a study of romance in this song. After knowing the use of feminism in Crishye's song entitled "Go Love" it can be concluded that the song is a poetic work of art, the language is short and there is a selection of figurative words that involve melody and contain studies in literary works.<em></em></p>

Abstract: Can the archetypal imperial adventurer—the hero of empire's interlinked fictions of discovery and conquest—be brown? This question finds expression in a genre of Bengali literature yet to receive significant scholarly attention. Rather than viewing these novels as a case of Bengal "writing back" to the British genre of the imperial romance, I read them as enquiries into the turbulent shifts of race, migration, and fractured self-fashioning in the age of decolonization. Through a closer look at Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay's Chander Pahar or The Mountain of the Moon (1937), the essay demonstrates how traces of indentureship and coolie labor as abject and elided forms of brown/ness fracture both the category of the brown expeditioner and its effect on the stereotypes of the dark continent.

This article analyzes Seiffert’s Afterwards (2007), which, in marked contrast to her debut publication, The Dark Room (2001), has received scarce critical attention. Set in anodyne suburbia, Afterwards narrates the fate of two unglamorous ex-combatants and their trauma. Seiffert’s complex narrative binds together romance and PTSD in a double plot that intertwines the fate of a “squaddy” involved in a shooting incident in the Northern Ireland Troubles with that of a former RAF officer stationed in colonial Kenya. This article argues that beyond subjective issues of judgment, Seiffert shows an awareness that modern romance cannot combine with trauma, as the idea of healing is nonsensical in a world ruled by ethical uncertainty. Furthermore, Seiffert’s examination of trauma indicates that in fiction –as in life– author and reader have to confront questions of guilt, responsibility and the absence of forgiveness. Seiffert, drawing on ideas similar to Primo Levi’s, concludes the novel with the tragic irony that the more humane the perpetrator, the more distant closure becomes, leaving her main character locked in trauma and the reader ensnared in uncertainty.

Abstract: The romance of Panglipur wuyung ideologically describes an ideal aspiration emerges in the real world. A city is basically an ideal place to get it. Conversely, a country is a quiet, poor world, and lack of anything. The consciousness of alienation in the city, however, cannot be possessed by the characters generally dominated by teenagers in this roman. This romance, composed by a thirteenth-century Jewish author living in Christian Toledo, is written in biblical Hebrew and cast it in the form of the Arabic maqamāh. The plot (an army invades an Arab territory; its commander, the "King of Beauty," falls in love with a female captive; the couple encounter a giant black warrior, kill him, and live happily ever after) invites a three-tiered reading: (a) a literal reading of the work as a conventional romance, in which the lovers are young and noble, the geography is mythical, and the hero wins his beloved after slaying a giant; (b) an allegorical reading of the union of Maskil (representing Intellect) and Peninah (signifying Beauty) as illustrative of the Platonic nexus of Eros, Beauty, Intellect, and the Good, while the monstrous Cushan represents unbridled sexuality, ugliness, bestiality, and evil; and (c) a historicized reading, anchoring the work in the religio-ethnic politics of the Reconquista (according to which Maskil is Christian, Peninah is an Andalusian Arab, and the giant Cushan is in an Almohad warrior, either a dark-skinned Berber or a sub-Saharan African). Read thus, the story problematizes historical issues of territory, border, conflict, contact, relocation, cultural transition, and hybridity.

The nerds of 20th and 21st century global pop and visual culture have taken various forms over the decades. In a plethora of media - from video games to comic books to film - individuals associated with this subject position have typically been shown to be on the periphery of socio-spatially determined spaces of value. Through contemporary North American high school dramas, comedies, romances, and thrillers ranging from The Faculty (1998) to She’s All That (1999) to The Twilight Saga (2008-2012), these socio-spatial spaces of value are typically associated with social capital and popularity. Richard Kelly’s protagonist in his directorial debut Donnie Darko (2001) raises interesting questions concerning the relationship between the nerd, the outsider and the loner, and their relation to social and personal space. In socio-spatial terms, Donnie calls into question the value and power of socio-spatially determined zones of value if one sees such spaces and structures as valueless in principium. This paper conducts a close reading of Donnie Darko, beginning with the assumption that Donnie is a nerd and, parsing the character through the socio-spatial relations of a variety of adolescent subject positions, what Donnie Darko ultimately uncovers about identity, space, and value.

This article examines the relation and position of human beings in the context of "educational mysticism". This study is important to do using the literature approach to descriptive conceptual research to see the position of man as a creature of God specifically created by God and for certain purposes. Humans according to mysticism are creatures of God that are specially created ("copy") by God and for the purpose of His tajalli (tanazul) and because humans have the potential of the lut because of certain temptations he can glide to a low level, if he wants to return to his fitrah, then he should make a certain effort (mujahadah and riyadlah) in order to climb (taraqi) again "unite" with Him throughthe fourstages of tajalli. That tajalli, both in the process of tanazul and taraqqi, should be understood figuratively and metaphorically (majazi). This situation is due to the existence of love and longing for Allah SWT, so that what is seen and felt is He alone, like someone who is hit by romance with his lover, who is loved and loved, always imagined in his eyes and heart. Thus, a compromise can be made between the concept of Sufism al-Shafi, namely Sufism which combines Sufic vision with a vision of philosophy and Sunni Sufism, namely Sufism which assumes itself to the Koran and Al-Hadist. Keywords: Mysticism, Education, Sprituality, Insan Kamil, Tanazul dan Taraqqi. Abstrak Artikel ini mengkaji relasi dan kedudukan manusia dalam konteks “tasawuf pendidikan”. Kajian ini penting dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan literature research-konseptual deskriptif untuk melihat kedudukan manusia sebagai makhluk Tuhan yang dicipta secara khusus oleh Tuhan dan untuk tujuan tertentu. Manusia menurut tasawuf adalah makhluk Tuhan yang dicipta secara khusus (“copi”) oleh Tuhan dan untuk tujuan tajalli-Nya (tanazul) dan karena manusia mempunyai potensi lahut yang karena berbagai godaan tertentu dia bisa meluncur ke tingkat yang rendah, apabila dia ingin kembali ke fitrahnya, maka hendaknya melakukan upaya tertentu (mujahadah dan riyadlah) agar bisa mendaki (taraqi) kembali “bersatu” dengan-Nya melalui empat tahap tajalli. Bahwa tajalli, baik dalam proses tanazul dan taraqqi itu, hendaknya dipahami secara figuratif dan metoforis(majazi). Dengan demikian, maka bisa dilakukan kompromis antara konsep tasawuf al-shafi, yaitu tasawuf yang memadukan antara visi sufistik dengan visi filsafat dan tasawuf sunni, yaitu tasawuf yang mengasaskan diri kepada Al-Quran dan Al-Hadist. Kata kunci: Tasawuf, Pendidikan, Spritualitas, Insan Kamil, Tanazul dan Taraqqi.

Hubungan asmara ini banyak yang berhasil hingga pernikahan namun tidak sedikit juga yang gagal bahkan menimbulkan kerugian secara materi maupun psikis yang mengarah pada tindak kriminal, fenomena yang berkaitan dengan hal ini dikenal dengan istilah romance scam yaitu kejahatan dengan modus hubungan asmara melalui dating apss dan korbannya kebanyakan adalah wanita. Sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui proses komunikasi interpersonal serta motif kejahatan dalam pendekatan yang dilakukan antara pelaku atau love scammer kepada korban. metode penelitian yaitu kualitatif fenomenologi. teknik pengumpulan data yaitu indepth interview, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan teori penetrasi sosial dan konsep komunikasi interpersonal Devito. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 4 tahapan dalam proses komunikasi interpersonal love scammer dan korban yaitu pendekatan awal, privacy contact, green-gray official relation, red exploitation area, victims exploitation & action dan terdapat 2 motif pendekatan kejahatan love scammer kepada korban yaitu pengembangan karir & membantu keluarga serta hadiah berbasis pajak selain itu ditemukkan fakta lain bahwa love scammer dengan melancarkan aksinya bukan hanya melalui dating apps atau dunia maya namun melalui relasi pertemanan korban. Kesimpulan dapat diketahui bahwa perkembangan kriminalitas seiring dengan perkembangan zaman dapat terjadi bahkan pada hal yang bersifat privasi seperti kejahatan pada hubungan asmara yang diistilahkan sebagai romance scam baik melalui dunia maya dan tak menutup kemungkinan pada dunia nyata.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang sistem honorifik bahasa Korea terhadap mitra tutur yang merupakan salah satu kajian sintaksis. Negara Korea merupakan negara yang mengutamakan kesopanan. Dalam penggunaan dan pemahaman sistem honorifik ini, banyak Pembelajar bahasa Korea menggunakan sistem honorifik yang kurang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memaparkan penggunaan sistem honorifik bahasa Korea. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dan metode penelitian deskriptif. Data penelitian ini berupa bentuk kalimat sistem honorifik bahasa Korea dari dialog yang ada dalam drama RADIO ROMANCE karya Kim Sin Ill. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan 5 bentuk sistem honorifik bahasa Korea dalam drama RADIO ROMANCE sebanyak 206 data. Hapsyoche 합쇼체 (formal style) terdapat 55 data dalam bentuk kalimat pernyataan dan 28 data kalimat dalam bentuk pertanyaan, haeyoche 해요체 (polite style) terdapat 21 data dalam bentuk kalimat pernyataan dan 26 data dalam bentuk kalimat pertanyaan, hageche 하게체 (familiar style) terdapat 2 data dalam bentuk kalimat pernyataan dan 3 data dalam bentuk kalimat pertanyaan, banmalche/haeche 반말체/해체 (banmal style) terdapat 32 data dalam bentuk kalimat pernyataan dan 27 data dalam bentuk kalimat pertanyaan. Kemudian yang terakhir haerache 해라체 (plain style) terdapat 1 data dalam bentuk kalimat pernyataan dan 11 data dalam bentuk kalimat pertanyaan. Dalam drama korea ini, penulis tidak menemukan sistem honorifik dalam bentuk haoche 하오체 (semiformal style) ABSTRACT This research discusses the Korean language honorific system for speech partners, which is one of the syntax studies. Korea is a country that prioritizes politeness. In using and understanding the honorific system, many Korean language learners use an honorific system that is inaccurate. The purpose of this research is to explain the use of the Korean language honorific system. This research uses qualitative research and descriptive research methods. This research data is in the form of Korean honorific system sentences from dialogue in the drama RADIO ROMANCE by Kim Sin Ill. Based on the research results, 5 forms of the Korean language honorific system were found in the drama RADIO ROMANCE totaling 206 data. Hapsyoche 합쇼체 (formal style) contains 55 data in the form of statement sentences and 28 data sentences in the form of questions, haeyoche 해요체 (polite style) contains 21 data in the form of statement sentences and 26 data in the form of question sentences, hageche 하게체 (familiar style) contains 2 data in the form of statement sentences and 3 data in the form of question sentences, banmalche/haeche 반말체/해체 (banmal style) there are 32 data in the form of statement sentences and 27 data in the form of question sentences. Then finally haerache 해라체 (plain style) there is 1 data in the form of a statement sentence and 11 data in the form of a question sentence. In this Korean drama, the author did not find an honorific system in the form of haoche 하오체 (semiformal style).

Abstract This research focuses on analyzing Clarence Michael James Dennis's character and works that illustrate the atmosphere of natural beauty and romance in Australia when during and after the war. In this paper also explained that the development of literary works in the UK affect the development of literary works in Australia. The works sampled in this study are the works of C.J Dennis made before World War 1, until after World War 1 was completed. The values of humanity, the atmosphere of war, and romance became the cirikhas of C. Dennis's poems. The study concludes that C. J Dennis is a world writer thanks to his synchronized work and is relevant to the issues that can be absorbed by the world community, as well as explaining how the first world war from the standpoint of the army world. ---Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis tokoh dan karya Clarence Michael James Dennis yang menggambarkan suasana keindahan alam dan percintaan di Australia ketika saat dan setelah perang. Pada paper ini juga dijelaskan bahwa perkembangan karya sastra di Inggris mempengaruhi perkembangan karya sastra di Australia. Karya-karya yang dijadikan sample pada penelitian ini adalah karya-karya C.J Dennis yang dibuat sebelum perang dunia 1, hingga setelah perang dunia 1 selesai. Nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, suasana perang, dan percintaan menjadi cirikhas dari sajak-sajak C.J Dennis. Sīrat Sayf ibn Dhī Yazan is a late-medieval Egyptian popular epic that tells the story of the foundation of Egypt and conquest of the world by its hero, the Yemeni king Sayf. It is one of a group of narratives known as the siyar shaʿbiyya, Arabic popular epics or romances. As a genre, their core concerns are issues of identity, the collective anxieties of the social unit, and that unit's struggle to maintain its integrity. Sīrat Sayf explores these issues in large part through the thematic use of gender, according to which the male, patriarchal forces of order are in tension with the female forces of chaos in an unstable and perpetually shifting balance that must be kept in equilibrium. In this context, open displays of strong emotions by its main protagonists can take on a particularly threatening aspect in the text. This article investigates the representation of anger in Sīrat Sayf, focusing first on the extent to which it can be described as gendered, and the significance of this for an understanding of both how male and female anger are conceptualised in the text and their respective roles in its textual dynamics. It then explores the part played by anger in an episode in which King Sayf offers the choice of conversion to Islam or death to a defeated enemy. In this small but key extract, the normally formulaic ‘conversion narrative’ becomes a highly emotionally charged encounter, during which characters are driven by anger to break with narrative conventions and behave in unexpected ways. This ‘emotional manipulation’ of literary conventions, which is achieved partly through the manipulation of gendered emotional codes, is one of the ways in which the narrative is able to give voice to the tensions surrounding issues of self and other, and communal identity, but also has implications for our understanding of the social codes depicted in the text.

Aktivitas fandom menjadi komunitas yang sedang populer di kalangan anak muda pada saat ini. Fandom adalah sebuah kelompok yang terbentuk karena adanya ketertarikan dan minat yang sama akan suatu objek yang sama. Fandom merupakan bentuk dari budaya populer di mana aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh para penggemar menjadi bagian dari bentuk budaya partisipasi. Selain mengonsumsi produk budaya populer, beberapa penggemar juga mengekspresikan diri melalui fanfiction. Peneliti mencoba menganalisis fenomena fanfiction yang digunakan sebagai bentuk budaya partisipasi oleh penggemar Harry Styles di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian grounded theory melalui wawancara online kepada lima informan yang merupakan penulis fanfiction Harry Styles di Wattpad. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kelima informan menjadikan kegiatan untuk menulis fanfiction sebagai bentuk dari penyaluran hobi dan pengisi waktu luang. Budaya artistic expression juga berperan dalam diri mereka sehingga mendukung mereka untuk menciptakan sebuah karya dan kreativitas ke dalam pengalaman yang lebih luas. Dari penelitian ini juga bisa dilihat bahwa mayoritas fanfiction Harry Styles memiliki genre romance dengan happy ending. Jenis fanfiction dengan unsur sexual menjadi lebih diminati oleh pembaca yang rata-rata merupakan anak muda. Fandom activities are becoming a popular community among youth currently. A fandom is a group formed because of the same interest and interest in the same object. A fandom is a popular culture where activities carried out by fans are part of a form of participatory culture. Besides consuming popular culture products, some fans also express themselves through fanfiction. This research analyzed the fanfiction phenomenon used by Harry Styles fans in Indonesia as participatory culture. This study used grounded theory research methods through online interviews. We interviewed five informants who are writers of Harry Styles fanfiction on Wattpad. The results of this study indicated that all five informants viewed their activities in writing fanfiction as a form of channeling their hobbies and filling their spare time. Artistic expression culture also plays a role, supporting them in creating work and creativity into a broader experience. From this study, it could also be seen that most of Harry Styles’s fanfiction has a romance genre with a happy ending. Types of fanfictions with sexual elements are becoming more attractive to readers, primarily young people.

This study explores the complex ways that three well-known novels—Anne Rice's "The Witching Hour," Melissa de la Cruz's "Witches of East End," and Nora Roberts' "Dark Witch"—present gender, sexuality, and cultural viewpoints on witchcraft. Every book is a different fusion of romance, fantasy, and fiction that incorporates witchcraft into a variety of cultural settings. The examination looks at how the writers deal with gender norms in the setting of witchcraft, with a focus on how they represent female protagonists and their autonomy in magical worlds. The study also examines how sexuality is portrayed, looking into how romantic and sexual interactions are portrayed in the context of witchcraft and whether these depictions upend or support conventional standards. A key component of every story is cultural awareness, with an emphasis on the ways in which the writers integrate mythology, folklore, and cultural customs pertaining to witchcraft. The impact of cultural circumstances on the identities and magical practices of the characters, as well as the cultural authenticity and sensitivity with which these elements are portrayed, are all closely examined in this study. This study attempts to provide light on the various ways that modern literature examines and explains gender relations, sexuality, and cultural understanding within the context of witchcraft by contrasting and analyzing these three books. The findings clarify the intricate interactions between fantasy components and actual cultural, gender, and sexual dynamics, adding to the larger conversation on representation and diversity in fiction.

AbstractShakespeare's Troilus and Cressida is a notoriously bleak and problematic play: a dark comedy, a witty tragedy, an X-rated romance. A love story set during the Trojan War, the play appears to treat both love and war with utter cynicism. Ulysses drives the plot, craftily luring a despondent Achilles back onto the battlefield, and exposing Troilus to the betrayal of his beloved Cressida. A world-class manipulator and debunker of love and honor, Ulysses casts a shadow over this sour play, though he seems curiously unaffected by his skeptical outlook. A few critics have argued that Ulysses is the hero of Troilus and Cressida, a clear-sighted philosopher who may well speak for Shakespeare himself. I will argue against that view. I will also suggest that Troilus, if not the hero of this play, is perhaps its only sympathetic character.
