Résumé :
Security and privacy in cloud systems are critical. To address security and privacy concerns, many security patterns, privacy patterns, and non-pattern-based knowledge have been reported. However, knowing which pattern or combination of patterns to use in a specific scenario is challenging due to the sheer volume of options and the layered cloud stack. To deal with security and privacy in cloud services, this study proposes the cloud security and privacy metamodel (CSPM). CSPM uses a consistent approach to classify and handle existing security and privacy patterns. In addition, CSPM is used to develop a security and privacy awareness process to develop cloud systems. The effectiveness and practicality of CSPM is demonstrated via several case studies.

Résumé :
Heliminthic paramyosin is a multifunctional protein that not only acts as a structural protein in muscle layers but as an immune-modulatory molecule interacting with the host immune system. Previously, we found that paramyosin from Clonorchis sinensis (CsPmy) is bound to human complement C9 protein (C9). To analyze the C9 binding region on CsPmy, overlapping recombinant fragments of CsPmy were produced and their binding activity to human C9 was investigated. The fragmental expression of CsPmy and C9 binding assays revealed that the C9 binding region was located at the C-terminus of CsPmy. Further analysis of the C-terminus of CsPmy to narrow the C9 binding region on CsPmy indicated that the region flanking731Leu–780 Leu was a potent C9 binding region. The CsPmy fragments corresponding to the region effectively inhibited human C9 polymerization. These results provide a precise molecular basis for CsPmy as a potent immunomodulator to evade host immune defenses by inhibiting complement attack.

Résumé :
Purpose To determine the incidence of clinically significant pseudophakic cystoid macular edema (CSPME) after phacoemulsification using the ‘bag-in-the-lens’ lens (BIL) implantation technique and to examine the influence of associated risk factors for clinically significant pseudophakic macular edema (CSPME), both ocular and systemic. Methods This retrospective study included 2419 first-operated eyes of 2419 adults who underwent phacoemulsification cataract surgery using the BIL implantation technique between January 2013 and December 2018 in the Antwerp University Hospital, Belgium. The significance of several risk factors (age, gender, previous history, intra- and postoperative complications) was examined by extraction of electronic medical files. Results The 3-month incidence of CSPME in the subgroup without risk factors was 0.00% (95% CI: 0.00 –NA). The 3-month incidence of CSPME in the subgroup with risk factors was 0.57% (95% CI 0.22–1.29%). The 3-month incidence of CSPME in the total population of 2419 patients was 0.29% (95% CI: 0.11–0.65%). The risk factors most significantly associated with CSPME included renal insufficiency (hazard ration [HR]: 5.42; 95% CI: 1.69–17.44; P = .014), exudative age-related macular degeneration (HR: 74.50, 95% CI: 25.75–215.6; P < .001) and retinal vein occlusion (HR: 22.48, 95% CI: 4.55–111.02; P = .005). Conclusions In the absence of risk factors, the incidence of CSPME was zero. We can conclude that Primary Posterior Continuous Curvilinear Capsulorhexis (PPCCC) does not increase the risk for CSPME. Non-inferiority of the BIL implantation regarding the development of CSPME, relative to the traditional ‘lens-in-the-bag’ (LIB) implantation, confirms that BIL is a safe surgical technique. This study also illustrates a previously undescribed risk factor for developing CSPME, namely renal insufficiency.

Résumé :
During oxidative stress, degenerative diseases such as atherosclerosis, Alzheimer’s, and certain cancers are likely to develop. Recent research on canary seed (Phalaris canariensis) peptides has demonstrated the high in vitro antioxidant potential. Thus, this study aimed to assess the cellular and in vivo antioxidant capacity of a low-molecular-weight (<3 kDa) canary seed peptide fraction (CSPF) using Caco-2 cells and the Caenorhabditis elegans model. The results show that the CSPF had no cytotoxicity effect on Caco-2 cells at any tested concentration (0.3–2.5 mg/mL). Additionally, the cellular antioxidant activity (CAA) of the CSPF was concentration-dependent, and the highest activity achieved was 80% by the CSPF at 2.5 mg/mL. Similarly, incubation with the CSPF significantly mitigated the acute and chronic oxidative damage, extending the lifespan of the nematodes by 88 and 61%, respectively. Furthermore, it was demonstrated that the CSPF reduced the accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) to safe levels after sub-lethal doses of pro-oxidant paraquat. Quantitative real-time PCR revealed that the CSPF increased the expression of oxidative-stress-response-related gene GST-4. Overall, these results show that the CSPFs relied on GST-4 upregulation and scavenging of free radicals to confer oxidative stress protection and suggest that a CSPF can be used as a natural antioxidant in foods for health applications.

Résumé :
On the basis of the excellent driving force demand of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), this paper studies the torque property of the compound-structure permanent-magnet motor (CSPM motor) used for HEVs, which is influenced by magnetic field oversaturation and variable nonlinear parameters. Firstly, the system configuration of HEVs based on CSPM motor and its working mode are introduced. Next, the state equation of CSPM motor in three-phase stationary coordinate system is proposed in order to investigate its torque performance; then, the factors affecting the output torque are gained. Finite element method (FEM)-based electromagnetic parameters analysis and design is carried out, to raise the output torque and reduce the torque ripple of CSPM motor. Besides, optimized design parameters are used to establish the FEM model, and the simulation results of electromagnetic performances for the CSPM motor before and after optimization are given to verify the rationality of optimization.

Résumé :
Climate change and human activities have been heavily affecting oceanic and inland waters, and it is critical to have a comprehensive understanding of the aquatic optical properties of lakes. Since many key watercolor parameters of Qinghai Lake are not yet available, this paper aims to study the spatial and temporal variations of the water clarity (i.e., Secchi-disk depth, ZSD) and suspended particulate matter concentration (CSPM) in Qinghai Lake from 2001 to 2020 using MODIS images. First, the four atmospheric correction models, including the NIR–SWIR, MUMM, POLYMER, and C2RCC were tested. The NIR–SWIR with decent accuracy in all bands was chosen for the experiment. Then, four existing models for ZSD and six models for CSPM were evaluated. Two semi-analytical models proposed by Lee (2015) and Jiang (2021) were selected for ZSD (R2 = 0.74) and CSPM (R2 = 0.73), respectively. Finally, the distribution and variation of the ZSD and CSPM were derived over the past 20 years. Overall, the water of Qinghai Lake is quite clear: the monthly mean ZSD is 5.34 ± 1.33 m, and CSPM is 2.05 ± 1.22 mg/L. Further analytical results reveal that the ZSD and CSPM are highly correlated, and the relationship can be formulated with ZSD=8.072e−0.212CSPM (R2 = 0.65). Moreover, turbid water mainly exists along the edge of Qinghai Lake, especially on the northwestern and northeastern shores. The variation in the lakeshore exhibits some irregularity, while the main area of the lake experiences mild water quality deterioration. Statistically, 81.67% of the total area is dominated by constantly increased CSPM, and the area with decreased CSPM occupies 4.56%. There has been distinct seasonal water quality deterioration in the non-frozen period (from May to October). The water quality broadly deteriorated from 2001 to 2008. The year 2008 witnessed a sudden distinct improvement, and after that, the water quality experienced an extremely inconspicuous degradation. This study can fill the gap regarding the long-time monitoring of water clarity and total suspended matter in Qinghai Lake and is expected to provide a scientific reference for the protection and management of the lake.

Résumé :
A dynamic optimization energy management strategy called Hybrid Electric Vehicle Based on Compound Structured Permanent-Magnet Motor (CSPM-HEV) is investigated in this paper. CSPM-HEV has obvious advantages in power density, heat dissipation efficiency, torque performance and energy transmission efficiency. This paper describes the topology and working principle of the CSPM-HEV, and analyzes its operating mode and corresponding energy flow laws. On this basis, the relationship about the power loss of the vehicle, the CSPM transmission ratio iCSPM and the CSPM-HEV power distribution coefficient f1 were derived. According to the optimal combination of (iCSPM, f1), the engine power and speed which minimize the power loss of the vehicle, were calculated, thus realizing the instantaneous optimal control of the vehicle. In addition, in order to improve the instantaneously optimized control processing speed, a neural network controller was established. The drive axle demand power, speed and battery State of Charge (SOC), were taken as input variables. Then, the engine power and speed were taken as output variables. The simulation results show that the average speed of the instantaneous optimization strategy after BP neural network optimization is increased by 98.1%, the control effect is significant, and it has high application value.

Résumé :
Autonomous driving is a safety-critical system, and the occupancy of its environmental resources affects the safety of autonomous driving. In view of the lack of safety verification of environmental resource occupation rules in autonomous driving, this paper proposes a verification method of automatic driving model based on functional language through CSPM. Firstly, the modeling and verification framework of an autopilot model based on CSPM is given. Secondly, the process algebra definition of CSPM is given. Thirdly, the typical single loop environment model in automatic driving is abstracted, and the mapping method from automatic driving model to CSP is described in detail for the automatic driving environment and the typical collision, overtaking, lane change and other scenes involved. Finally, the autopilot model of the single loop is mapped to CSPM, and the application effect of this method is discussed by using FDR tool. Experiments show that this method can verify the safety of autonomous driving resources, thereby improving the reliability of the autonomous driving model.

Résumé :
Multi-layer satellite network has become a hot spot for its wider coverage and higher bandwidth level. However, due to the frequent link changes and complexity of network, it is hard to find out a mechanism to handle well on long delay and high packet loss level. This paper proposes an optimized OSPF protocol called OOWLP to eliminate unnecessary routing convergence to optimize the packet loss level and delay ultimately. Link plan table, which records link contacting plan, will be used to update the link state database periodically so that we can eliminate the flooding procedure caused by scheduled link changes. On the other hand, Constrained Shortest Path First (CSPF) will be used to get business differentiated routes in multi-layer satellite network to optimized the throughput capacity in congestion scenario. We divide the sending packets into different businesses and get the routes for each business with longer duration limited by remaining bandwidth. Simulation results show that in normal scenario, average packet loss rate and delay performance are improved 17.42%, 51.44ms respectively, average packet loss rate and throughput capacity performance are optimized 79.05%, 9.81Mbps respectively in congestion scenario compared to standard OSPF. As a result, the proposed mechanism is able to shorten the average delay and lower the packet loss level in multi-layer satellite network.

Résumé :
An implementation of the smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method is presented to solve dynamic coupling between waves and a free-floating rectangular box. A 2D numerical wave tank (NWT) is established in this paper. Governing equations of weakly compressible smoothed particle hydrodynamics (WCSPH) are modified by CSPM and approximately Riemann solver. Boundaries of the NWT and the floating box are built with dynamic boundary particles (DBPs) described by Dalrymple. An active absorbing wavemaker is arranged at the upstream boundary of the NWT and an artificial damping layer is set on the other side. A comparison between SPH result and boundary element method (BEM) solution of wave forces on a fixed rectangular box is conducted to validate the numerical model. The interaction between waves and a floating box is simulated using the present model, and wave forces on the floating box and its motion responses under wave action are analysed.

Résumé :
A viscous 3D numerical wave basin for high nonlinear waves was developed based on Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method. The computational accuracy of SPH method is mainly improved by introducing the Corrective Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics Method (CSPM) and a novel pressure correction scheme. The incident waves are generated from the inflow boundary by prescribing a velocity profile of the flap-type wavemaker motions, and the outgoing waves are numerically dissipated inside an artificial damping zone located at the end of the basin. Moreover, the parallelization of the improved 3D SPH scheme has been carried out using a hybrid MPI-OpenMP programming, together with a dynamic load balancing strategy to improve the computational efficiency. The generation and propagation of regular wave and solitary wave have been simulated. Wave forces induced by regular wave acting on a large-diameter circular cylinder and solitary wave passing over a submerged breakwater are also presented to verify the accuracy of SPH model. In addition, several computing cases of different particle resolutions are investigated and a high parallel efficiency is obtained.
