Résumé : Cet article étudie la manière dont il convient de penser l’articulation entre le texte coranique et son contexte supposé. En examinant trois types de tensions entre le Coran et le contexte de La Mecque et de Médine, qui concernent des aspects géographico-sociaux, religieux (l’arrière-plan chrétien) et socio-culturels (la capacité à utiliser l’écrit (literacy) et l’oralité), l’article montre que, tout en conservant l’idée que le mouvement de Muḥammad a pris naissance en Arabie occidentale, on doit abandonner l’idée du Coran comme miroir de la prédication de Muḥammad et reconnaître que le corpus coranique a en fait plusieurs contextes. Abstract Title: Some Issues about the Contexts of the Qurʾān This article explores how to think about the articulation between the Qurʾanic text and its supposed context. By examining three types of tensions between the Qurʾān and the context of Mecca and Medina, which pertain to geographical-social, religious (the Christian background) and socio-cultural (literacy and orality) aspects, the article shows that, while we should keep the idea that Muḥammad’s movement originated in Western Arabia, we should give up the idea of the Qur’ān as a mirror of Muḥammad’s preaching and acknowledge that the Qurʾanic corpus displays in fact multiple contexts.

Résumé : Le contexte historique de la genèse du Coran constitue une question centrale dans les recherches islamologiques sur le texte fondateur de l’islam, d’autant plus vive qu’il n’existe pas de consensus sur une reconstruction scientifique de ce contexte. Placer le Coran « en contexte(s) » apparaît donc comme un terrain propice au dialogue entre islamologie et histoire. Cette introduction revient d’abord sur les enjeux propres à l’histoire première du Coran, c’est-à-dire à sa composition et à sa canonisation, avant d’évoquer comment ces enjeux s’articulent au contexte omeyyade. L’idée initiale d’un colloque organisé en juin 2021, qui consistait à appréhender l’histoire du Coran dans le contexte de la Syrie-Palestine à l’époque omeyyade (661-750), a finalement ouvert à la possibilité d’un regard multi-situé sur les développements omeyyades autour du Coran, à travers la confrontation des sources dans leur diversité et l’élargissement à un horizon impérial. Abstract: Title: The Qurʾān in Umayyad Context(s): Introduction The historical context of the genesis of the Qurʾān is a central issue within the field of Islamic Studies dealing with the founding text of Islam – even more so that no consensus on an academic reconstruction of this context has been reached. To set the Qurʾān « within its context(s) » appear therefore as an adequate ground for dialogue between History and the study of the religion of Islam. This introduction first describes what is at stake within the early history of the Qurʾān, i.e. its composition and canonisation, and then evokes how these issues relate to the Umayyad context. The initial idea of the conference that took place in June 2021, which was to address this topic within the limited framework of Syria-Palestine during the Umayyad period (661-750), eventually led to the possibility of a multi-situated view on the Umayyad developments regarding the Qurʾān, through confronting the sources in their diversity, in a wider, imperial horizon.

ABSTRACT: Starting from the acceptation, which considers the context as homogeneous environment close to the linguistic sign and of the same nature, to that which apprehends it like environment distant and heterogeneous by its composition, the sciences of the language are faced with epistemological mutations. Faced with the proliferation of definitions and theories, our reflection focuses, essentially, on the epistemological mutations that the concept context has experienced through the different theories that consider it as the core of their theses. Through this article, we will try to highlight the evolution of this concept. Thus from the immanent approach, now classical or by some linguists, to textual and discursive approaches in perpetual mutations and in full proliferation, what could be today the most exhaustive conception on which specialists could agree? RÉSUMÉ: Partant de l’acception qui considère le contexte comme environnement homogène proche du signe linguistique et de même nature, à celle qui l'appréhende comme environnement lointain et hétérogène de par sa composition, les sciences du langage se retrouvent face à des mutations épistémologiques. Devant le foisonnement de définitions et de théories, notre réflexion porte, essentiellement, sur les mutations épistémologiques qu’a connues le concept contexte à travers les différentes théories qui le considèrent comme noyau de leurs thèses. A travers cet article, nous tenterons de mettre en évidence l’évolution qu’a connue ce concept. Ainsi de l'approche immanente, désormais classique ou révolue selon certains linguistes, aux approches textuelles et discursives en perpétuelles mutations et en pleine prolifération, quel peut être aujourd'hui, la conception la plus exhaustive sur laquelle pourraient s'entendre les spécialistes ?

The important late fifth- or early sixth-century brick tomb at Xuezhuang in Dengxian (Henan) features a brick form at the rear wall, which remained mysterious until it has recently been shown to represent a Buddhist pagoda. This discovery sheds light on the purpose of the burial chamber, featuring the novel combination of vaulted ceiling, colonnade, and pagoda, as simulating an Indian-derived Buddhist temple (caitya). To reinforce this Buddhist context, the burial chamber simultaneously imitates the structure of a Buddhist votive stele (zaoxiangbei 造像碑), in which various Buddhist images, including the Buddha and bodhisattvas, apsaras, worshippers, and guardians, are carefully organized. The Xuezhuang tomb thus merges Buddhist structures with the traditional Chinese funerary structure, representing an entirely new manner in which funerary art and Buddhist art interacted with one another in early medieval China. While in earlier times Buddhist elements were subject to the unilaterally dominant funerary context, in the fifth to sixth centuries, as the importance of a specifically Buddhist context increased, the tomb occupant, whose coffin lay right before the pagoda, became an integral part of a simulated Buddhist structure as a worshipper symbolically poised to worship the pagoda or attend the “dead” Buddha in the concealed Buddhist “temple” that was the tomb. La tombe importante, datant de la fin du ve siècle ou du début du vie, découverte à Xuezhang (Dengxian, Henan) comporte une forme en briques sur son mur postérieur dont on n’a montré que récemment qu’il s’agissait d’une pagode bouddhiste. Cette découverte éclaire l’objet de la chambre funéraire: la combinaison d’un plafond en voûte, d’une colonnade et d’une pagode évoque un temple bouddhiste de style indien (caitya). Renforçant encore ce contexte religieux, la chambre funéraire imite en même temps la structure d’une stèle votive bouddhiste (zaoxiangbei 造像碑), dans laquelle les images du Bouddha, des bodhisattvas, des apsaras, des adorateurs et des gardiens sont soigneusement disposées. La tombe de Xuezhang combine de la sorte des structures bouddhistes et une structure funéraire chinoise traditionnelle; elle représente une manière entièrement nouvelle dans la Chine du début du Moyen Âge, dans laquelle interagissent l’art funéraire et l’art bouddhique. Alors qu’auparavant les éléments bouddhistes étaient subordonnés à un contexte exclusivement funéraire, aux ve-vie siècles le contexte spécifiquement bouddhique a gagné en importance; en conséquence, l’occupant de la tombe, dont le cercueil était placé directement devant la pagode, est devenu partie intégrante d’une structure bouddhique simulée en tant qu’adorateur placé symboliquement pour faire ses dévotions à la pagode, ou alors être au service du Bouddha “mort” dans le temple bouddhique caché qu’était devenue la tombe.

The effect of the social context on psychoanalysis in Argentina. The study of the social context due to state of terrorism during the Argentine military dictatorship between 1976-1983 is used to understand the mental representation of social context and its influence on the psychoanalytical setting. This state of “social catastrophe” is characterized along its social violence axis by tracking down some observational items : silence and silencing, the information-disinformation axis referred to ignorance, madness and false expectations, the creation of bastions and myths as well as a state of constant threat and torture. An extreme significant was the “desaparecido”. A trial is made to detect the repercussion of this items on group treatment using two group’ sessions.

ABSTRACT: Linguistics is in an evolving phase where the semiotic thresholds and the partitioning of research fields tend to give way to the diversity of signs and interdisciplinary perspectives. Indeed the levels of analysis have multiplied and incline more and more to dissect the mechanisms of meaning construction that revolve around production, reception and interpretation. However, we cannot arrive to meaning without specifying as a preliminary the context of production. The context, because of its polysemic character, is the object of discussion. Is it a concept belonging to logico-grammatical or hermeneutics? This question deserves to be analyzed because on it are based all the theoretical approaches, better the connections between texts and speeches as well as the connections between social sciences and humanities. We will not miss to linger ourselves on the different variations in the meaning of context depending on a linguistic approach to another and its centrality in discourse analysis. RÉSUMÉ : La linguistique est dans une phase d’évolution où les seuils sémiotiques et le cloisonnement des domaines de recherche ont tendance à laisser la place à la diversité des signes et des perspectives d’interdisciplinarité. En effet, les niveaux d’analyse se sont multipliés et tendent de plus en plus à décortiquer les mécanismes de construction du sens qui tournent autour de la production, de la réception et de l’interprétation. Toutefois, on ne peut arriver au sens sans au préalable déterminer le contexte de production. Le contexte fait l’objet de débats de par son caractère polysémique. Est-il un concept relevant de la logico-grammaticale ou de l’herméneutique ? Cette question mérite d’être analysée, car c’est ce sur quoi reposent toutes les approches théoriques, les connexions entre les textes et les discours ainsi que les connexions entre les sciences sociales et les sciences humaines. Nous ne manquerons pas de nous attarder sur les différentes variations de sens du contexte selon qu’on se situe d’une approche linguistique à une autre et sa centralité en analyse du discours.

Each of the member states of the European Economic Community (EEC) has extended, through a common agreement, its own fishing grounds to 200 miles, thus leading to the creation, since 1977, of the Community waters whose exploitation would be subjected to the common fisheries policy of the EEC. The widespread extension of fishing grounds throughout Europe together with the state of overfishing in the North-East Atlantic have led the EEC to elaborate a policy in order to protect the interests of its member states, to make their fishing vessels competitive, and to ensure the stability of the fishing industry. This paper looks into the implementation of the fisheries policy of the EEC, internally — namely access s rights to Community waters, the coordination of markets and producers, aid to modernize the vessels - as well as regarding foreign countries with whom agreements are sought in order to maintain historic fishing rights - specially in the North Atlantic - or in order to develop new fishing grounds - specially along the West African coast and in the Indian Ocean - a quarter of the EEC catch is made outside Community waters. France is deeply committed to the orientations of the EEC fisheries policy due to the importance of its fleet of trawlers fishing outside French waters and to the potential catch in the exclusive economic zone of its departments and territories overseas. The compromise signed by member states in 1983 is an important step towards the establishment of a true « Europe Fisheries ».

Great epic theories of the Renaissance, mainly inspired by Aristotelian poetics, do not deal with the most widely spread narrative practice of the sixteenth century. The first theoretician of the novel (“romanzo”), Giraldi Cinzio, whose “pre-aristotelian” conception might seem a little backward, establishes a break between ancient and modern narrative. The two traditions are based on different notions of the text: on the one hand, as an object of contemplation with its own internal logic; on the other hand, as an instrument of edification dedicated to the pleasure of and usefulness to as wide and “diverse” a readership as possible. The Giraldian model is more often observed in France, contrary to what the Pléiade accustomed its readers to believe.

Language is an essential component of a population's identity. Like other elements of culture, language is made up of dynamic elements that are constantly evolving. The coexistence of several languages in the same territory leads to influences and transformations that can even result in the extinction of one language in favour of another. UNESCO statistics (2011) estimate that at least 43% of the 6,000 languages spoken in the world are in danger of disappearing. The Seereer language is one of these dialects to have suffered disruption, with a clear decline in the number of speakers over the last fifty years. This situation can be explained by the movement of its population, with many of its members moving to the cities, mainly Dakar. Linguistic erosion is now a fact of life among the Seereer people and is reflected in a form of "Wolofisation" to the detriment of the Seereer language. Added to this is the fact that the Seereer have mixed marriages, especially in the urban environment of Dakar, where the children born of these unions have little chance of speaking the language. The city, as a vector of change, is marked by a particular dialect that is at the root of the erosion of the most exposed languages, such as Seereer.

In this article we will examine the ambiguity of kanji, characters of Chinese origin, and one of the character sets used to write the Japanese language. We will first describe the ambiguity phenomenon by presenting the origin of this problem and its multilevel effects on the Japanese texts decoding. Then, we will expose a context based method of disambiguating kanji which draws on Japanese graphotax specificities themselves. Lastly, we will show the effectiveness of this disambiguating method when applied to computational linguistics and particularly to an automatic morphological analysis and segmentation system for Japanese texts.

Le manga est-il nécessairement lié à un contexte de production ? Si ce format s’avère indissociable de son origine, alors il ne peut s’exporter et se réimplanter en France. Nous développons cette thèse en quatre étapes : l’analyse du manga Bakuman comme journal interne de la compagnie Shūeisha, d’après la théorie d’Ikujiro Nonaka, puis la manière dont l’histoire du Japon a façonné celle du manga. Ensuite, nous montrons que le manga en tant qu’objet est né de nécessités techniques et économiques. Enfin en France, les difficultés rencontrées n’établissent pas en droit mais seulement en fait une impossible transposition des modèles — notamment en raison des différentes conceptions de l’art — comme en témoignent certains succès français. Is manga necessarily determined by its production context? If this kind is inseparable from its origin, then it cannot be exported and reimplanted in France. We develop this thesis in four steps : analysis of the manga Bakuman as internal newsletter of the Shūeisha company, according to the theory of Ikujiro Nonaka, then how Japanese history has shaped manga. Then we show that manga was born as an object of technical and economic requirements. Finally in France, difficulties doesn’t prove an impossible transposition of models — especially the different conceptions of art — because of some french success.

It seems to be experiencing a revival of interest in this difficultperiod of the pandemic where education is increasingly conflicting between face-to-face and distance learning.Tutoring is considered to be one of the most powerful devices for helping students succeed, but we propose to show its benefits also for teacher-researchers in the pedagogical aspect of their work. Our objective will be to synthesize the French and Anglo-Saxon experience that have long explored the positive impact of tutoring in the university context as well as to examine the conditions for its implementation in university courses in Poland.Our experience as a tutor of university teachers - although not yet very rich - will allow us to analyze some concrete cases.

The resolution of conflicts in a society can be seen as a complex network of interactions between various relatively autonomous official control systems. The place occupied by the criminal law as well as its role within this network are larg e -ly determined by the nature of its relations with the other control systems. Based on these theoretical premises, developed in recent socio-juridical studies, this article advances a number of conceptual proposals aimed at clarifying a question that has been the subject of theoretical and political controversy in the field of criminology for about half a century. It is the question of the exclusion, total or partial, of certain particular forms of illegalities from penal intervention. The principal characteristic of these illegalities lies in the fact that they have a broad range of forms of control (civil, administrative proceedings and particularly amicable arrangements). The control of illicit activities in five areas of social life examined in the second part of the study (the business world, public administration, public health, the environment and health and safety in the workplace) show this characteristic very clearly. In conclusion, the author advances a number of arguments that tend to illustrate the profoundly illusory nature of any attempt at control of the above-mentioned illicit activities by intervention of the criminal law.

En Afrique et dans l’Océan Indien, Madagascar se distingue par la grandeur de sa superficie et ses espaces étendues. Dans l’imaginaire collectif et les discours, la Grande Île est énoncée pleinement. Or, dans les pratiques urbaines comme les agglomérations et le surpeuplement urbain sur un espace réduit, cette même Grande Île n’assimile pas la culture de la grandeur et de l’espace ou du « ngeza ». En se penchant sur Antananarivo, ce présent article nous éclaire sur le paramétrage de cette perception du ngeza chez les tananariviens. Il est façonné, d’une part par le sentiment d’insularité dans le contexte local, et d’autre part par les rencontres interculturelles dans le contexte international. De ce fait, sur une base documentaire, observatrice et d’enquêtes qualitatives, nous mobilisons le constructivisme et le déterminisme pour mener les introspections perceptives. AbstractIn Africa and the Indian Ocean, Madagascar is distinguished by the size of its area and its extensive spaces. In the collective imagination and speeches, the Big Island is fully stated. However, in urban practices such as agglomerations and urban overcrowding in a small space, this same Big Island does not assimilate the culture of grandeur and space or of "ngeza". By focusing on Antananarivo, this article sheds light on the configuration of this perception of ngeza among the tananariviens. It is shaped, on the one hand, by the feeling of insularity in the local context, and on the other hand by intercultural encounters in the international context. Therefore, on a documentary, observational basis and qualitative surveys, we mobilize constructivism and determinism to conduct perceptual introspections.

Resumo O artigo busca problematizar a relação dialética entre diversidade e desigualdade em uma perspectiva geográfica e em um contexto de fragmentação socioespacial. Parte-se da premissa de que pensar em diversidade social remete às particularidades do social, enquanto refletir sobre desigualdade social requer, em termos mais gerais, uma análise da estrutura social. Em um primeiro momento, e a partir de dados de pesquisa realizada pela ONG britânica OXFAM Brasil e da divulgação do relatório “A distância que nos une – Um retrato das desigualdades brasileiras”, em 2017, diversidade e desigualdade são articuladas enquanto categorias para a reflexão sobre conquistas e retrocessos no contexto brasileiro. A seguir, a categoria “classe social” vai ser operacionalizada para refletir sobre o empreendedorismo popular em bairros e cidades do estado da Bahia, a partir da sistematização de dados de nossas próprias pesquisas. Por fim, busca-se aprofundar a discussão sobre o processo de fragmentação socioespacial nos diferentes recortes e escalas abordados bem como sobre a possibilidade de ação política em um contexto adverso de fragmentação. Abstract The article aims to discuss the dialectical relationship between diversity and inequality in contexts of socio-spatial fragmentation through a geographical perspective. We start from the premise that thinking about social diversity refers itself to the particularities of the social phenomenon whilst reflecting on social inequality requires, in broad terms, an analysis of the social structure. Initially, based on research results by the British NGO OXFAM Brazil and their report "The distance that unites us: an overview of Brazilian inequalities", we sought to articulate inequality and diversity as categories to reflect on the Brazilian context, its achievements and setbacks. Next, based on the systematized data of our own researches, we operationalized the category “social class” to meditate on popular entrepreneurship in various neighborhoods and cities in Bahia, Brazil. Ultimately, we tried to deepen the discussion about the process of socio-spatial fragmentation in the different spatial scales addressed and to reflect on the possibilities of political action in adverse contexts of fragmentation. Initialement, sur la base des données de recherche de l'ONG britannique OXFAM Brésil et de la publication du rapport «La distance qui nous unit - Un portrait des inégalités brésiliennes», en 2017, la diversité et l'inégalité sont articulées en tant que catégories de réflexion sur les réussites et les échecs dans le contexte brésilien. Ensuite, la catégorie «classe sociale» sera opérationnalisée pour réfléchir sur l'entrepreneuriat populaire dans les quartiers et les villes de l'État de Bahia, basé sur la systématisation des données issues de nos propres recherches. Abstract. The development of federalism in the context of the neoliberal era in the 2000s has partly created the conditions for a more stable co-operation between the federal and Quebec governments, contributing to the trend of separatism being sidelined in Quebec. In the context of neoliberalism, federal–provincial agreements have created conditions for just enough asymmetry in the relationship between the federal government and Quebec, something that Quebec has historically demanded, for separatism to remain off the agenda. What separates this relationship from past ones is a significant change in the context whereby the neoliberal orientation is becoming the common currency for co-operation. If Canadian federalism continues its present course under neoliberalism without any major mishaps, for the first time since the divisive period of the 1990s and early 2000s, federal–Quebec relations likely will be stable without national unity crises of the kind that culminated in the 1980 and 1995 Quebec referenda on sovereignty.Résumé. Le développement du fédéralisme dans le contexte de l'ère néolibérale dans les années 2000 a en partie créé les conditions pour une coopération plus stable entre les gouvernements fédéral et québécois, contribuant ainsi à la tendance du séparatisme au Québec d'être marginalisés. Dans le contexte du néolibéralisme, des ententes fédérales-provinciales ont créé les conditions pour un peu assez de relation asymétrique entre le gouvernement fédéral et du Québec, quelque chose que le Québec a toujours exigé, au séparatisme de rester hors l'ordre du jour. Ce qui sépare cette relation de celles du passé est un changement significatif dans le contexte dans lequel l'orientation néo-libérale devient la monnaie commune pour la coopération. Si le fédéralisme canadien continue son cours actuel sous le néolibéralisme sans encombre majeur, pour la première fois depuis la période de division des années 1990 et début des années 2000, les relations fédérales-Québec probablement seront stable sans crises unité nationale du genre qui a culminé dans les années 1980 et 1995 référendums sur la souveraineté du Québec.

Cet article explore ce que nous entendons par « vide spirituel paradoxal » en salle de naissance québécoise : s’il semble évident que la naissance est une expérience humaine intense qui a été longtemps entourée par une dimension spirituelle, cette dernière demeure largement inexplorée en contexte contemporain. Nous préciserons d’abord notre hypothèse de travail : 1) en définissant son aspect paradoxal émergeant du contexte médical actuel ; 2) en cherchant à mieux saisir le terme spirituel pour qu’il reflète la présente originalité du contexte religieux et spirituel ; et 3) en illustrant le vide par le silence de la littérature à ce propos. Nous toucherons ensuite à l’aspect terrain des recherches entreprises par le groupe interdisciplinaire SPIritualité et Naissance (groupe SPIN) sur la spiritualité des parents lors de la naissance de leur enfant, ayant mené à ce jour à : 1) une rencontre multidisciplinaire d’experts (médecine, théologie, parents) analysée avec deux grilles (Galek et al., 2005 ; Hall, 2001) ; et 2) une première catégorisation des types d’expériences spirituelles pouvant être vécues par les parents lors de la naissance. Nous conclurons par un cahier de charges qui devraient réduire les résistances rencontrées par le milieu médical au sujet du projet SPIN et sur les suites du projet. This article explores what we have called the “paradoxical spiritual void” in the delivery rooms of Quebec. If it seems evident that birth is an intense human experience that has had a spiritual dimension for a very long time, this dimension remains largely unexplored in the contemporary context. First, we set out our working hypothesis: 1) by defining its paradoxical aspect emerging from the actual medical context; 2) by trying to get a better grasp of the term spiritual so as to make it reflect the originality of the actual religious and spiritual context; and 3) by illustrating the void by way of the silence of literature on the topic. Then, we enlarge on the practical aspects of the research conducted by the multidisciplinary group SPIrituality and Birth (in French: SPIN) on the spirituality of parents during the birth of their child, which has so far led to: 1) a multidisciplinary meeting of experts (medical, theological, parental) using two analytical frameworks (Galek et al., 2005; Hall, 2001); and 2) a first categorization of types of spiritual experience that can be lived by parents during birth. We conclude by specifying measures that should reduce the resistance met by the medical world concerning the SPIN project and its future developments.

L’objet du présent article est d’aborder des phénomènes stylistiques du français à l’ère numérique dans les publicités de MTN-Congo. Ainsi, l’objectif d’un tel sujet est d’identifier, de classer et d’analyser les procédés stylistiques émergeant de la publicité que l’entreprise Mobile Telephone Networks (MTN)-Congo utilise pour gagner les nouveaux abonnés et pour les motiver dans la consommation de ses offres. Ces procédés stylistiques méritent de choisir une méthode d’analyse linguistique pour saisir les enjeux stylistiques de leur usage. A cette fin, nous appliquons les critères de la linguistique pragmatique comme les principes de l’intention communicationnelle et le paramètre du contexte comme facteur des phénomènes stylistique du français dans les stratégies publicitaires de l’entreprise MTN-Congo. En appliquant de tels critères de la pragmatique, nous avons obtenu quatre résultats pris comme des phénomènes stylistiques du français à l’ère numérique. Le premier et le deuxième ont montré que l’apostrophe et l’injonction rentrent dans les phénomènes stylistiques spécifiques du français à l’ère numérique. Le troisième et le quatrième sont axés sur les procédés stylistiques du présentatif « il y a » et de l’interrogation.

Through this article, we attempt to describe a new type of user on the web 2.0, the grammar-Nazi. We detect in the exchanges and conversations on YouTube the traits that characterize it. Within the YouTube sharing community, trolling is current. Through the latter, we highlight the characteristics of this type of speaker. We opt for a qualitative analysis based on 500 comments taken from a channel specialized in the field of languages and their learning. Our investigation aims to address all the traits that distinguish a particular type of speaker who asserts himself and places himself at the heart of the controversy. We prove through an analysis of digital discourse that Nazi grammar is demanding, corrective and banishing in the Algerian digital context. From its rigidity are born verbal violence and aggressiveness sometimes justified by the psychological, social and digital conditions which surround it. Résumé: A travers cet article, nous tentons une description d’un nouveau genre d’utilisateur sur le web 2.0, c’est le grammar-nazi. Nous détectons dans les échanges et les conversations sur le youtube les traits qui le caractérisent. Au sein de la communauté de partage youtube, le trolling est d’actualité. Par le biais de ce dernier, nous mettrons en évidence les caractéristiques de ce genre de locuteur. Nous optons pour une analyse qualitative basée sur 500 commentaires puisés d’une chaine spécialisée dans le domaine des langues et leur apprentissage. Notre investigation vise une prise en charge de l’ensemble des traits qui distinguent un type particulier d’énonciateur qui s’affirme et se place au cœur de la polémique. Nous prouvons à travers une analyse du discours numérique que le grammar nazi est revendicateur, correctif et bannisseur dans le contexte numérique algérien. De sa rigidité, née une violence verbale et une agressivité parfois justifiée par les conditions psychologiques, sociales et numériques qui l’entourent.

The Casa-Berardi gold deposits are located 180 km north of Rouyn-Noranda within Archean rocks of the Abitibi Subprovince. The Casa-Berardi deformation zone (CBDZ), which contains these deposits, is an east–west trending structure that is recognized along a minimum distance of 80 km. Ductile deformation has affected the lithologies in the central portion of the CBDZ. The CBDZ juxtaposes distinct sedimentary and volcanic lithostratigraphic packages which locally display opposite facing directions. Within the CBDZ the Casa-Berardi fault has been recognized; it is a brittle structure with a reverse motion. This fault represents a distinct element associated with the progression of deformation in the CBDZ and appears late in the geodynamical evolution of this deformation zone. Two other deformation zones have been identified in this region: (i) the east–west-trending Boivin-Paradis deformation zone, which has limited lateral extent and is located at the periphery of a granitoid intrusion, and (ii) the Laberge deformation zone, which has a northwest to east–west trend and crosscuts the regional structural grain. Most of the economic gold mineralization in the Casa-Berardi deposits is found in the second set of four recognized vein and fracture sets. The mineralized veins are found within zones of intense deformation which are preferentially developed close to contacts between sedimentary and volcanic units. The geometry of the different sets of quartz veins, their relative chronology, and their respective hydrothermal alterations can be explained by the progression of deformation within the CBDZ and bracket the gold mineralization as syn- to late-tectonic. The CBDZ is distinguished from the other two deformation zones by its greater lateral extent, the juxtaposition of distinct lithological domains, the complexity of its internal fabrics, and the relative length of the deformation event. These features indicate that in contrast with the other two deformation zones, the CBDZ was the site of a major mineralizing event. The recognition of contrasting characteristics between the different deformation zones has repercussions on the understanding of the different criteria that control gold deposition and, ultimately, on gold exploration.

Résumé.L'imprécision couramment observée dans les discours sur les pratiques du patronage et du lobbying, respectivement, tient en très grande partie à un flou conceptuel auquel cet article propose précisément de remédier au moyen d'une comparaison de la fonctionnalité de ces deux formes de médiation entre la société et les institutions politiques. Adoptant une perspective proprement politique, tout en tenant compte du statut normatif différencié qui marque chacune des deux pratiques, nous présentons d'abord en parallèle leurs traits distinctifs pour ensuite, quasi paradoxalement, mieux saisir leurs similarités. Les dynamiques que traduisent les échanges au cœur d'une relation patron-client, dans le cas du patronage, et d'une relation lobby-titulaire de charge publique, dans le cas du lobbying, ont pour effet de transformer les rapports de force qui structurent les relations du patron et du lobby avec leurs rivaux-concurrents. Par ailleurs, à l'encontre de présupposés largement répandus qui associent ces pratiques à des stades différents du développement des sociétés, nous montrons leur coexistence possible dans les pratiques politiques contemporaines. Notre exercice, principalement conceptuel, peut par ailleurs se révéler utile pour poser des diagnostics adéquats sur la vie démocratique … dont certains dysfonctionnements ne peuvent être corrigés qu'au moyen d'interventions appropriées.Abstract. Patronage and lobbying are currently discussed with vague concepts. This article suggests a comparison of the two phenomena by pointing to their respective roles in the conduct of relations between the society and the political institutions. In a properly political perspective, we consider their own status in normative terms and then present both their differences and similarities. The exchanges between a patron and a client and between a lobby and a public office holder result in transforming the power balance in the relations of a patron with rivals and of a lobby with competitors. Contrary to common assumptions which relate patronage and lobbying to societies at different stages of their development, we also show that they can coexist in contemporary political practices. We claim that our exercise, mainly conceptual in its nature, could serve to diagnose more adequately democratic malfunctioning and, consequently, to define more appropriate correctives.

A comprehensive analysis and longitudinal study of the case of a public firm in Algeria shows that absence of a good understanding of the corporate environment in some of the factors that, in developing countries, guides action towards a reactive procurement management. In fact, this restricts both the effectiveness and efficiency of the procurement function, in a context where these two aspects are nevertheless crucial for the long-term survival of the firms. Since the case study deals with three distinctly different periods and contexts, one can say that at least one of these periods and its associated context is representative of experiences of procurement strategy implementation in developing countries. In this respect, the five proposals formulated arise from the identification of contingency factors that, when taken into account, should permit sound procurement management in developing countries.

Translating Oral Culture : Some Translation Aspects In The Amazigh Context Orality is a field of research that is gaining perpetually popularity among ethnologists, and linguists. The status of oral literature is so particular. It is like the other side of written literature, its secret voice, its ignored or feared side. In North Africa, oral literature has always existed, circulated, and is still alive and often considered subversive. Also, it often plays a decisive role in the constitution of cultural identities. To preserve its identity, the Amazigh people have built and struggled for the survival of their oral tradition/culture in time and space. This ongoing struggle of researchers, activists, and academic institutions is based on repetition, transcription, and translation. This study deals with ethnographic texts (oral tales) according to a translatological approach specifically the translatability of cultural issues. To test the translatability of Amazigh oral culture, we opted for tales as a special genre compared to other oral literary genres. Its specificity lies in the fact that it survives through storytelling, represents a community/culture, and can house all other forms of oral literature such as riddles, proverbs, poems, etc. Our study corpus consists of 18 unpublished oral Amazigh tales collected in southeastern Morocco (Aoufous, Tafilalet). Thanks to recording equipment, we were able to record meetings with storytellers (of different ages, professions, and intellectual levels) in many real storytelling situations. This analysis uses concrete examples related to the performance aspect and the cultural background of the tales in question by submitting each example to an ethnological and stylistic analysis before moving on to its translatability. It shows a set of aspects that shape Amazigh oral tale characteristics and pose cultural, linguistic, and stylistic challenges to the transcriber-translator. This academic contribution aims to discuss two main points: Firstly, the fact of switching from the oral world to the writing world as the first level of translation given the difference in codes, language, style, conditions of storytelling, and audience. And secondly, the cultural challenges posed by the transition from an African/Morrocan to a European/French culture such as the non-equivalence in literary genres, polysemic terms, culturemes, puns, and other elements tracing the cultural realities contained in Amazigh oral tales. What we have sought to show in this reflection is that: if the written literary text imposes a set of rules on translators, and forces them to take into account its linguistic and extralinguistic specificities, the oral artistic production requires double attention before and during the translation operation because it reflects a whole culture using gestural and vocal performance in front of a specific audience. Any gesture, sound, or silence carries symbol and meaning. Nothing comes of chance when it comes to the oral tradition that reflects a common socio-cultural system and worldview. In this case, it is recommended not to lose sight of the fact that what is significant for a person belonging to the culture of departure may not necessarily be so for someone else belonging to the culture of arrival. To open the cultural portals of the tale, the translator must show flexibility ( when it’s about choosing the suitable translation technics), and avoid any form of ethnocentrism by taking into consideration two important elements: Cultural resistance (knowing how much the tale is rooted in one's own culture) and Cultural distance (Knowing what distance separates the source tale from the target tale). Dans cet article, nous nous intéressons à l’évolution de l’anglais dublinois au cours des années. En effet, nous pouvons nous demander à quel point cette variété d’anglais a gardé sa spécificité dans un contexte de plus en plus international. Pour ce faire, nous avons analysé quantitativement l’expression de l’aspect have-en dans un corpus contemporain d’anglais de Ballyfermot, une banlieue de Dublin traditionnellement ouvrière. La comparaison de nos résultats à ceux de Filppula, qui a établi un corpus de Dublin à la fin des années 70, début des années 80, nous a aidé à mettre en lumière l’évolution de cette variété d’anglais au cours des années, ainsi que sa spécificité.

Abstract: This paper surveys literature in art education that explores cultural inclusivity. It then surveys Jewish Canadian history in order to provide a sketch of the cultural context, providing a rationale for teaching Jewish art at Canadian universities. A brief history of the nature of Jewish art and its relationship to that of the dominant cultures in which Jews have lived will be described. It proposes a model for teaching Jewish art and art by Jewish artists in Canadian universities that can provide students with opportunities to truly understand the cultural context in which this work is created, using Israeli-Canadian Sylvia Safdie’s Dust as an example. Keywords: Diversity; Inclusivity; Jewish Art; Sylvia Safdie. Résumé : Cet article se penche sur la littérature du domaine de l’enseignement des arts qui traite d’inclusivité culturelle. On y explore ensuite l’histoire juive canadienne pour dresser un tableau du contexte culturel et fournir un motif d’enseigner l’art juif dans les universités canadiennes. Y sont décrits un bref historique de la nature de l’art juif ainsi que sa relation avec les cultures dominantes au sein desquelles évoluent les Juifs. L’article propose un modèle pour enseigner dans les universités canadiennes l’art juif et des œuvres réalisées par des artistes juifs. Ce modèle permet aux étudiants de mieux comprendre le contexte culturel dans lequel ces œuvres sont créées, notamment *Dust*, œuvre de l’israélo-canadienne Sylvia Safdie. For novice and expert English language teaching professionals alike, it is important to understand the dynamic complexity of the context in which we workto intentionally and strategically forge a relevant and personally meaningful, continuing professional development path. English language teaching has longoutgrown a “one-size-fi ts-all” continuing professional development model. Rather, the context in which we teach influences the knowledge and skills weneed to develop and maintain as we move through our careers. This, in turn, drives the strategic choices we make for our continuing professional development.However, what does context in English language teaching actually mean, and how do we unpack its elements to locate ourselves within it? Using a proposedmodel of nested complex dynamic systems, we can first locate ourselves within a broad socioeconomic, complex dynamic system created by the ongoing interaction of a society’s economy, politics, history, geography, technology, culture, language, and education. We can then locate ourselves within multiple complex dynamic systems in the professional, program, and classroom contexts that give shape to and, at times, constrain our agency. Finally, we can consider ourselves, English language teachers, as complex dynamic systems. Each of us is the unique creation of our interacting education and training, professional experience, and self. This complex dynamic systems model can be used to guide teachers, administrators, and funders to intentionally and strategically select, design, or support continuing professional development, leading to teachers’ building knowledge and practice for ongoing success in a rapidly evolving profession. Qu’il s’agisse de débutants ou de professeurs expérimentés, il est important que les professionnels de l’enseignement de l’anglais comprennent la complexité dynamique du contexte dans lequel nous travaillons afin de pouvoir ouvrir intentionnellement et stratégiquement la voie à un mode de perfectionnement professionnel continu qui soit à la fois pertinent et significatif sur le plan personnel. Il y a longtemps que l’enseignement de l’anglais ne tient plus dans un modèle unique de perfectionnement professionnel continu. Il faut plutôt reconnaître que le contexte dans lequel nous enseignons influe sur les connaissances et les compétences que nous devons développer et entretenir au fil de notre carrière, ce qui a pour effet d’orienter les choix stratégiques que nous effectuons pour notre perfectionnement professionnel continu. Mais que signifie réellement le contexte de l’enseignement de l’anglais, et comment en dégageons-nous les éléments afin de nous y inscrire personnellement? À l’aide d’un modèle suggéré de systèmes dynamiques complexes imbriqués, nous pouvons commencer par nous situer dans un vaste système socioéconomique complexe créé par l’interaction continue de l’économie, de la politique, de l’histoire, de la géographie, de la technologie, de la culture, de la langue, et de l’éducation. Nous pouvons ensuite nous situer à l’intérieur de multiples systèmes dynamiques complexes dans les contextes de la profession, du programme, et de la salle de classe qui donnent forme à notre agentivité et parfois la limitent. Enfin, nous pouvons nous considérer nous-mêmes, en tant que professeurs d’anglais, comme des systèmes dynamiques complexes. Nous sommes toutes et tous le produit unique d’une interaction entre notre éducation et notre formation, notre expérience professionnelle et notre identité. Ce modèle de système dynamique complexe peut être utilisé pour amener les enseignants, les administrateurs, et les bailleurs de fonds à sélectionner, concevoir et appuyer intentionnellement et stratégiquement une forme de perfectionnement professionnel continu susceptible d’amener les enseignantes et les enseignants à accumuler des connaissances et des pratiques qui assureront leur succès dans une profession en évolution rapide.

Online language courses that rely on asynchronous teacher-learner communication face a practical problem when it comes to the provision of immediate corrective feedback by the teacher in oral interaction tasks. In this learning context, learners can still communicate synchronously and record their interaction without the teacher being present, but feedback by the teacher will be delayed in time. Research indicates that the effectiveness of feedback decreases as the time between the error and the correction increases and that immediate feedback is more effective (Arroyo & Yilmaz, 2018; Shintani & Aubrey, 2016). In this exploratory study conducted at an online university, we implemented a novel type of feedback we referred to as delayed immediate corrective feedback (DICF) and analyzed second language learners’ and teachers’ perceptions regarding its effectiveness and usefulness. Our goal was to assess the feasibility of implementing this type of feedback in our context and, ultimately, in other contexts where communication between teachers and learners takes place asynchronously. DICF was provided by teachers orally via screencast video. Learners and teachers’ perceptions were collected via two separate questionnaires. The results showed that teachers and learners responded positively to DICF and several potential benefits were identified. Les cours de langue en ligne qui s’appuient sur la communication asynchrone enseignant-apprenant rencontrent un problème pratique quand vient le temps de fournir de la rétroaction corrective immédiate par l’enseignant lors des tâches d’interaction orale. Dans ce contexte d’apprentissage, les apprenants peuvent toujours communiquer de manière synchrone et enregistrer leur interaction sans que l’enseignant soit présent, mais la rétroaction de l’enseignant sera décalée dans le temps. La recherche indique que l’efficacité de la rétroaction diminue au fur et à mesure que le temps entre l’erreur et la correction augmente, et que la rétroaction immédiate est plus efficace (Arroyo & Yilmaz, 2018; Shintani & Aubrey, 2016). Dans cette étude exploratoire menée auprès d’une université en ligne, nous avons mis en place une nouvelle forme de rétroaction, que nous avons appelée rétroaction corrective immédiate retardée (RCIR), et nous avons analysé les perceptions des apprenants de langue seconde et des enseignants quant à son utilité et à son efficacité. Notre objectif était d’évaluer la faisabilité de mettre en place ce type de rétroaction dans notre contexte, et par extension, dans d’autres contextes où la communication entre apprenants et enseignants se passe de manière asynchrone. La RCIR a été fournie oralement par des enseignants à l’aide de vidéos d’écrans. Les perceptions des apprenants et des enseignants ont été recueillies dans deux questionnaires distincts. Les résultats ont montré qu’apprenants et enseignants ont réagi à la RCIR de manière positive et plusieurs avantages potentiels ont été identifiés.

Dans un contexte de préoccupations environnementales croissantes, le lien entre l’innovation et la performance environnementale suscite une attention importante à la fois dans les milieux académiques et commerciaux. Des études récentes mettent en avant le rôle essentiel de l’innovation dans la résolution des défis environnementaux. Cependant, une analyse approfondie des preuves empiriques révèle une relation complexe. Cette étude vise à explorer la connexion entre l’innovation des modèles d’entreprise, la durabilité environnementale des entreprises et les caractéristiques personnelles des dirigeants. En introduisant le concept d’un effet médiateur, nous cherchons à mieux comprendre les mécanismes sous-jacents qui relient l’innovation à la performance environnementale, allant au-delà des traits organisationnels généralement analysés. Pour ce faire, nous avons utilisé une analyse économétrique, en employant spécifiquement la méthode des moindres carrés ordinaires. De plus, nous avons développé un indice composite pour évaluer les niveaux de durabilité environnementale des entreprises. Le jeu de données de cette étude comprend les réponses de 452 participants valides parmi les 1 096 entreprises inter-sectorielles marocaines interrogées lors de l’enquête annuelle de la Banque mondiale en 2019-2020. Nos résultats de recherche suggèrent que les entreprises dotées de modèles d’entreprise innovants ont une plus grande propension à aborder les préoccupations liées à la durabilité environnementale. De plus, les caractéristiques personnelles des dirigeants jouent un rôle partiel de médiation dans cette relation. Cet article éclaire l’impact distinct de diverses formes d’innovation sur la performance environnementale, en mettant particulièrement l’accent sur le contexte économique en évolution du Maroc et le paysage politique environnemental, où l’engagement environnemental reste modeste. De plus, il a le potentiel de stimuler des initiatives pratiques visant au développement de réglementations nationales et de pratiques axées sur la préservation de l’environnement.

This article focuses upon the milieu of single-sex schooling within an elite independent school in a Canadian urban centre. This research served as an exploratory and critical examination of single-sex schooling in a specific context, and considered its relevance, pedagogical effectiveness, and ability to meet its purported goals. Using an interpretative methodological framework, and employing a multi-methods case study design, the purpose of this research was to investigate the strengths, limitations, and possibilities of single-sex schooling in a particular educational context as informed by its students, parents of students, graduates, and teachers. We found little evidence to support the idea that single-sex schooling overwhelmingly impacted student academic or social development. Implications for practice at schools offering single-sex schooling are addressed and focus upon the importance of gender-inclusive schooling; the school as the key, rather than the school’s single-sex classes; and addressing boys’ behaviour. Key words: single-sex, gender, schooling, independent school, private school Cet article se penche sur un milieu de scolarisation non mixte au sein d’une école privée élitiste d’un centre urbain canadien. Cette recherche a permis d’examiner de façon exploratoire et critique la scolarisation non mixte dans un contexte précis, ainsi que sa pertinence, son efficacité pédagogique et sa capacité à atteindre les objectifs escomptés. Par l’utilisation d’un cadre méthodologique interprétatif et le recours à une étude de cas multimodale, cette recherche poursuivait l’objectif d’examiner les forces, les limites et les possibilités de l’enseignement en milieu non mixte, dans un contexte éducatif particulier, comme le décrivent les élèves, leurs parents, les diplômés et les enseignants. À la suite de cet examen, peu de preuves viennent soutenir l’idée que la scolarisation en milieu non mixte a un impact considérable sur le développement scolaire et social des élèves. L’article traite des implications pour la pratique dans les écoles offrant une scolarisation non mixte et se concentre sur l’importance d’une scolarisation inclusive des genres, sur l’école comme étant la clé plutôt que les classes non mixtes, et à considérer le comportement des garçons. The issues of adaptation of management control to the social and cultural characteristics of various countries are far from being fully resolved. This is the assumption of this article in its mission to focus on national differences. This work has 3 objectives. The first is to identify the cultural foundations, coming from North American society, of management control. The second is to show how Tunisian cultural values are inadequate to the American model of management control. The third objective is to provide some guidelines for the adaptation of management control to the national culture of Tunisia. From the Tunisian cultural configuration and the information gathered through interviews, we recommend that adaptation efforts be directed to the following 3 areas: first, gradually changing perceptions while moving closer to a culture of competitiveness; then, a development of individual performance while retaining a portion of collectivism; finally, a participatory development while retaining an element of hierarchy. In a context of a global health crisis like that of Covid-19, the ethical responsibility of scientists is doubly put to the test. On the one hand, faced with false information circulating on social networks, with their health, political, economic and social im- pacts, it has the obligation to provide scientifically reliable information to popula- tions and leaders even if the unprecedented aspect of the Covid-19 pandemic and the difficulties in controlling the virus that is its origin make this ethical and scientific requirement in terms of true information complex. On the other hand, it is a question of knowing how to invoke ethical principles in the management of information in a context where the scientific community itself faced with varied and complex scientific conjectures, is plunged into uncertainty. Faced with these dilemmas, does not the philosophically correct attitude consist in finding alternatives with a view to responsible and ethical management of scientific information in the context of a pandemic emergency?

The Democratic Republic of Congo, like other African countries, committed since more of one decade, in a set of the reforms aiming to straighten the socioeconomic situation, to rationalize and to modernize his/her/its governance. This reform enroll in the time and rest on an institutional diagnosis, which reveals dysfunctions of the state-controlled device due to the maladjustment of governance system to the socio-cultural contexts. It is in this perspective that we entered into this reflection, in order to identify the actors and their interactions and to examine their strategy of the governance in the context of the political regionalism in the Maniama, for one active period of 2007 to 2015. To the analysis, he/it was revealed that the strategy adopted by the actors of the governance was deficient to the look of the stake for which they are all mobilized and committed. It is the emergence of the province or better his/her/its development that definitely should pass by the reduction of poverty and the economic growth.

New technologies have enjoyed a remarkable boom in recent years. Their presence in the institutional environment bears witness to innovative and effective teaching and learning practices. With the adoption of new approaches favoring the transition from a teaching logic to a learning logic, and aiming to train autonomous citizens, the digitization of teaching is becoming a necessity. As a result, the roles of teacher and learner need to adapt to new requirements, making the teacher a learning facilitator and the learner an active member with a key role to play in the construction of his or her knowledge. This leads us, in the context of this work, to question the digital skills available to students to use new technologies responsibly and ethically in their learning. In this contribution, we will also attempt to highlight the main changes brought about by the introduction of digital technology in the language classroom, and its contribution for practitioners and learners alike, without losing sight of the threats it may represent for learners, particularly those relating to ethics.

Se presenta este ensayo con el propósito de cavilar sobre la bioética gerencial dentro del contexto educativo universitario, delineando un corolario de ideas previo a la examinación de diferentes tópicos, donde se revisaron sus aspectos más relevantes, además de considerar el Paradigma de la Complejidad, la Gerencia Compleja y la Ecología Social, como referentes afines con el tema. Con esto se logra concebir la gestión universitaria desde una visión macro, alineada a los principios de autonomía, no maleficencia, beneficencia y justicia, que para ser efectivos deben materializarse en el contexto socioeducativo, revestidos con su carga epistémica, axiológica y ontológica, proporcionando el carácter múltiple observado, con particularidades principialista, racionalista, personalista, ética y humanística. ABSTRACT This essay is presented with the purpose of thinking about managerial bioethics within the university educational context, outlining a corollary of ideas prior to the examination of different topics, where the most relevant aspects were reviewed, in addition to considering the Complexity Paradigm, Complex Management and Social Ecology, as references related to the subject. With this, it is possible to conceive university management from a macro vision, aligned to the principles of autonomy, non-maleficence, beneficence and justice, which to be effective must be materialized in the socio-educational context, coated with its epistemic, axiological and ontological load, providing the multiple character observed, with principled, rationalist, personalist, ethical and humanistic particularities. Com isso, é possível conceber a gestão universitária a partir de uma visão macro, alinhada aos princípios da autonomia, da não maleficência, da beneficência e da justiça, os quais, para serem efetivados, devem ser materializados no contexto socioeducativo, revestidos de sua carga epistêmica, axiológica e ontológica, proporcionando o caráter múltiplo observado, com particularidades principiológicas, racionalistas, personalistas, éticas e humanísticas. This article discusses the often stereotyped and essentialized depiction of the Sámi in Old Norse sources in light of recent work on critical race theory and its application to the Middle Ages. Focussing on the portrayal of Sámi characters in the late-medieval Hrafnistumannasögur (Sagas of the Men of Hrafnista), this article argues that Norse portrayals of the Sámi were racial in character and that there did indeed exist a racial dynamic between the two peoples, at least during the late-medieval period from which these sagas survive. Consideration is also given towards how both positive and negative portrayals of the Sàmi in these sources can be understood within a racialized context. This article is a winner of the 2022 Marna Feldt Graduate Publication Award. À la lumière des récents travaux sur la théorie raciale critique [critical race theory] et son application dans le contexte du Moyen- ge, cet article traite de la représentation, souvent stéréotypée et essentialiste, des Samis dans les sources en vieux norois. Se concentrant sur les portraits des personnages Samis dans les Hrafnistumannasögur (sagas des hommes de Hrafnista) du bas Moyen- ge, cet article argumente que les représentations nordiques des Samis étaient de caractère racial et qu’il existait en effet une dynamique raciale entre les deux peuples, tout du moins durant le bas Moyen- ge, période d’où ces sagas nous proviennent. L’interprétation, dans un contexte racialisé, des représentations positives et négatives des Samis dans ces sources est également pris en considération. Taking as its departure point an Egyptian parliamentary debate, this article shows, first of all, that rational-choice theory cannot describe the making of a compromise; and, second, that the re-appraisal of preferences does not imply a change of opinion after the debate. It argues instead that the praxeological approach is more suitable for describing this dynamic.

Translating Metaphors from Spanish to Cameroonian Languages: Which Method in a learning context? Metaphor, in its various forms, poses substantial constraints when one undertakes to translate it, given that it is a model of expression of a culture, a mode of thought, singularised through each language and in permanent construction. After clarifying some conceptual and theoretical points about the process of metaphorisation and the typology of metaphor, this study qualitatively analyses the way in which 29 students from a translation institute in Cameroon translated some forty metaphors from Spanish into Cameroonian languages. Given the difficulty of collecting metaphors in their diverse and unclear typology, the study is limited to the category of fixed metaphors, particularly idioms. It is found that because of the cultural connotations they carry and the acrolectal style they are supposed to convey; metaphors are difficult to translate by translator-learners who have not been introduced to a specific method for doing so. Most students make numerous errors (non- translations, lack of meaning, and loss of meaning) that betray the precariousness of their translation process. Following this observation, this study, which is both descriptive and prescriptive, recommends some specific methodological points that should be taught to translator-learners to enable them to translate metaphors from Spanish into Cameroonian languages effectively. The said methodological points are built on the basis of the work of Barnwell (1990), Misri (1990), Hagström (2002), Jamet (2003), and more around the seven strategies advocated by Newmark (1981) for metaphor transfer, namely reproduction of the same image (literal translation), replacement with a standard image, replacement with a simile that retains the image, replacement with a simile with explanation, conversion of the metaphor into an explanation of its meaning, omission, and reproduction of the original metaphor combined with an explanation. However, the study recommends that such a draft method, in order to be effective and beneficial, should be accompanied by didactic reforms in the teaching of Spanish translation in relation to Cameroonian languages. In this perspective, it would be appropriate for translator-learners to be more exposed to metaphors in Spanish, and that bridges and didactic "pretexts" be created to enable them to rub shoulders with experts in Cameroonian languages and cultures.

RÉSUMÉ: Allahu akbar, « Allah est grand » ou « Allah est le plus grand », est une expression arabe à l’origine ordinaire, entendue quotidiennement, surtout dans des localités où se trouvent les mosquées qui l’utilisent pour annoncer les cinq prières journalières recommandées en islam. Lorsque les groupes armées terroristes prononcent ces mots, ils sont considérés comme un « cri de guerre ». Allahu akbar a pris une connotation négative à cause de son utilisation dans des situations d’une extrême violence, en particulier dans les attaques dites terroristes causant des tueries individuelles ou de masse. Cet article est inspiré d’une étude de cas de l’attaque armée contre la gendarmerie de Samorogouan au Burkina Faso en 2015, une attaque non revendiquée par aucun groupe armé. A partir d’une recherche essentiellement qualitative, l’objectif de cet article est de comprendre les changements socio- politiques, sécuritaires et religieux liés à l’incantation de Allahu akbar lors d’une attaque armée. ABSTRACT: Allahu akbar—“Allah is great” or “Allah is greatest”—is an Arabic expression of plain origin, heard daily, especially in localities where mosques use it to announce each daily Islamic prayer. When armed terrorist groups utter these words, they are considered a “war cry”. Allahu akbar has taken on a negative connotation due to its use in situations of extreme violence, particularly in so-called terrorist attacks causing individual or mass killings. This article is inspired by a case study of the armed attack on the Samorogouan gendarmerie in Burkina Faso in 2015, an attack not claimed by any armed group. Based on essentially qualitative research, the aim of this article is to understand the socio-political, security-related and religious changes associated with the incantation of Allahu Akbar during an armed attack.

Cette étude vise à identifier et examiner les facteurs du Phygital learning qui influencent la satisfaction et l’engagement des étudiants. L’enquête a été menée auprès de 336 étudiants marocains et les données collectées ont été analysées à l’aide la méthode des équations structurelles. Nos résultats montrent que la satisfaction des étudiants peut être modélisée par différents facteurs d’apprentissage, y compris l’utilité perçue et les perceptions des étudiants sur le Phygital learning. De plus, la flexibilité, l’interaction et l’utilité perçue sont des facteurs clés qui peuvent améliorer la satisfaction des étudiants en renforçant leur engagement. Alors que la personnalisation et la facilité d’utilisation perçue n’ont aucun effet. Les résultats de cette étude seront considérés comme utiles pour les éducateurs, les praticiens et les établissements d’enseignement supérieur, car ils donnent lieu à des implications théoriques et managériales importantes, qui peuvent être utilisées pour mettre en œuvre l’approche du Phygital learning dans le système éducatif, en mieux comprenant l’engagement et la satisfaction des étudiants et en mettant en évidence les facteurs clés qui garantissent une expérience d’apprentissage Phygital réussie. Cette recherche est l’une des premières à fournir des preuves empiriques de l’impact des différents facteurs du Phygital learning et des perceptions des étudiants concernant ce mode d’apprentissage, sur l’engagement et la satisfaction des étudiants, notamment dans le contexte du Maroc.
