Résumé :
A small tile panel created by the Italian ceramic painter Francisco Niculoso (active 1498-1529 from the private collection of Ferdinand Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (1816-1885), king consort to Queen Maria II of Portugal (1819-1853), was in 1902 acquired by the Rijksmuseum. Although the ownership history of this Visitation panel is not fully documented, this essay provides a more comprehensive understanding of its historical narrative, by exploring the various contexts of acquisition and collecting. The panel’s journey from Lisbon to Amsterdam vividly illustrates the remarkable fluidity and permeability that defined the boundaries of art markets and museums around the turn of the twentieth century.

Résumé :
Abstract The purpose of this research is to analyze the Islamic values implied in the Scappa per Amore: Mozaik Perjalanan Cinta di Benua Biru. The research problems that will be explored are (1) How to interpret the signs that appear in each quotation, (2) What Islamic values can be understood from each quotation, and (3) What are the evidences underlying Islamic values that appear in each quotation. This research employs Ferdinand de Saussure’s dichotomous semiotic theory, which distinguished between signifier and signified and employs qualitative method. The data used in this research are eight quotations from the Scappa per Amore novel by Dini Fitria which consist of five sections and twenty-nine chapters. According to the findings of this research, each of these quotation contains Islamic values, as well as the underlying evidences. These values can be interpreted as messages that the reader can take away from the novel as wisdom and guidelines for daily living. Keywords: Signs, Novel, Quotation, Evidence.

Résumé :
This study aims to explain the emotional representation of the Joker as a victim of violence in the 2019 Joker film based on Ferdinand De Saussure's theory. Joker is a psychological thriller genre film. The film opens with Arthur Fleck trying out various expressions. With a clown-style make-up, Arthur pulled his face in a motion pulling the corners of his lips up to create a smiling facial expression. Arthur then lowered the corners of his lips down to make a sad expression with his lips down, and then pulled his lips back into a smile. A few tears flowed between her black eye makeup. The research method used in this paper is descriptive qualitative. This means that the data used in this study is qualitative data (data that does not consist of numbers) in the form of words and pictures that may be the key to what is being studied. Then the existing data are described from a number of aspects of signs or semiotics in a number of scenes. For example, from the emotional side that appears in a scene, the facial expressions of the actors, the dialogue delivered by the actors, background music and so on. Emotional representation is also shown through messages that are interpreted semiotically based on Ferdinand de Saussure's theory through changes in costumes (markers), from being originally monochrome (dark dominant) to being more colorful, and changes in a person's character from being closed to being more expressive in expressing their feelings sign).

Résumé :
This research discusses the film entitled "Daring" which is a film created by KPI study program students that displays social realities in everyday life. The ability of a film to convey a message that aims to provide education to the audience who watch it makes this online film one of the films that attempt to provide a moral message, education, and social criticism of the surrounding situation which is then packaged into an epic show. This research uses a qualitative approach with Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic analysis. The results obtained in this research are that there are 12 signifiers and 12 signifiers in the Daring film which consist of moral messages, social messages, and educational messages. Firstly, the moral message conveyed is to speak noble words to parents, be filial to parents, do not miss prayers, do not lie to parents, pray for children, be grateful, and surrender to Allah. Second, the social message conveyed is parental sacrifice, not avoiding responsibility, working together, and maintaining good relationships with friends. Third, the educational message conveyed is that students still want to study well no matter what the circumstances.

Résumé :
Background Transparent and detailed reporting of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) is essential to judge its validity and generalizability. We assessed the reporting quality of RCTs examining the effects of inulin-type fructans supplementation on cardiovascular risk factors, before and after the publication of the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT) in 2010. Methods We searched MEDLINE, EMBASE, Emcare, AMED, the Cochrane Library, and CINAHL from inception to May 15, 2022, including the reference lists of selected RCTs. We screened titles and abstracts and extracted the data independently and in duplicate. We included RCTs that investigated the effects of inulin-type fructans on cardiovascular disease risk factors (e.g., low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglycerides, fasting blood glucose) in adults (18 years or older). The primary outcomes of this study were: the overall reporting quality of RCTs (defined as the total number of items [0 to 36] present from the CONSORT checklist) published before and after CONSORT; and the study characteristics (e.g., sample size, significance of primary outcome) predictive of the CONSORT score. The secondary outcome was the reporting of each specific item of the CONSORT checklist during pre- and post-CONSORT periods. The mean difference in the total number of reported items in studies published before and after CONSORT were compared using a t-test and Poisson regression to explore the factors associated with overall reporting quality of RCTs. We used Fisher’s exact test to compare the adherence to each of the 36 items during pre- and post-CONSORT periods. Results We identified 1,767 citations from our systematic search, of which 55 were eligible. There was a significant increase in the reporting of CONSORT items (mean difference 8.5, 95% confidence interval [CI] 5.24 to 11.71) between studies published before and after publication of CONSORT. The sole variable that was predictive of better reporting quality of RCTs was whether the study was published before or after CONSORT (incidence rate ratio 1.67, 95% CI 1.40 to 2.02). Completeness of reporting of RCTs only improved in 15 out of 36 items (41.6%) after the publication of CONSORT. Conclusion The completeness of reporting in RCTs investigating inulin-type fructans supplementation on cardiovascular disease risk factors remains inadequate after the publication of CONSORT. Greater adherence to CONSORT by authors and enforcement of CONSORT by journals may improve the quality of reporting among RCTs.

Résumé :
Background We aimed to assess the endorsement of the Consolidation Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT) statement by Chinese journals of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and its incorporation into their editorial processes. Methods PubMed, Embase and major Chinese databases were searched to identify journals of TCM from China for inclusion. The latest ‘instruction for authors’ (IFA) of each included journal was obtained and any text mentioning CONSORT or CONSORT extension papers was extracted. Subsequently, the editor of each of the included journals was surveyed about their journal's endorsement of the CONSORT recommendations and their incorporation into editorial and peer review processes. Results Sixty-three journals of TCM from China were examined. Of these, only three (5%) and one (2%) of the 63 journals mentioned the CONSORT statement and extension papers, respectively, in their IFA. Fifty-four of 63 (86%) of surveyed journals responded, with the majority of respondents being editors. Only 20% (11/54) of the respondents reported that they had any knowledge of the CONSORT statement. Only 6% (3/54) of the editors reported that they required authors to comply with the CONSORT statement or that they incorporated it into their peer review and editorial processes. Conclusions TCM journals in China endorsing the CONSORT statement constituted a small percentage of the total. The majority of editors surveyed were not familiar with the content of the CONSORT statement and extension papers. We strongly recommend that the China Periodicals Association issue a policy to promote the endorsement of the CONSORT statement and conduct relevant training for journal editors in China.

ObjectivesEvaluate the completeness of reporting of addiction randomised controlled trials (RCTs) using the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT) statement.SettingNot applicable.ParticipantsRCTs identified using a PubMed search of 15 addiction journals and a 5-year cross-section.Outcome measuresCompleteness of reporting.ResultsOur analysis of 394 addiction RCTs found that the mean number of CONSORT items reported was 19.2 (SD 5.2), out of a possible 31. Twelve items were reported in <50% of RCTs; similarly, 12 items were reported in >75% of RCTs. Journal endorsement of CONSORT was found to improve the number of CONSORT items reported.ConclusionsPoor reporting quality may prohibit readers from critically appraising the methodological quality of addiction trials. We recommend journal endorsement of CONSORT since our study and those previous have shown that CONSORT endorsement improves the quality of reporting.

Résumé :
Appealing to the stated topic is relevant because of the desire to concretize the knowledge of little-known in Russian musicology instrumental consorts (musical groups), as well as to expand the existing understanding of the court culture of Renaissance England and its musical and sound appearance. The main center of English consorts development was the Royal court of the Tudors — Henry VIII and his daughter Elizabeth I. Their heyday was at the peak of the “Golden Age” of English culture. Based on the results of scientific research by Western scientists and visual and verbal sources available for study, the article outlines the milestones in the history of the main types of instrumental consort in England — the whole consort, consisting of instruments of the same family, and the broken consort, today often identified with the mixed consort, which connects heterogeneous instruments. The article notes that the early history of the recorder consort in England was closely connected with creative activities of the family of Venetian musicians Bassano. Extremely popular in musical circles of England, the consort of viol was originally formed thanks to Flemish and, somewhat later, Italian musicians. As for the mixed consort, which united performers of the viols da gamba and da braccio, lute, bandore, cistre and recorder, it started to be called “English” because of the stable combination of certain musical instruments. Analysis of consort music anthologies of the 16th—17th centuries made it possible to identify individual genre and musical-style reference points in musical groups’ repertoire, in which musicians improved the principles of instrumental polyphony and the stile concertante, topical in the Modern Period.
