Résumé :
Ülkemizde Geç Antik Çağ Ön Asya tarihi araştırmaları çok yetersiz kalmaktadır. Hâlbuki Türklerden bahseden en eski kayıtlar Geç Antik Çağ İran kaynaklarıdır. Türk tarihiyle ilgili yapılacak araştırmalarda Pehlevîce bilmek elzem bir hale gelmiştir. Türk tarihçiliği bu konuda batılı doğubilimcilerin yaptığı çalışmalarla iktifa etmektedir. Bu çalışmalarda ise Türk tarihiyle alakalı önemli bilgiler atlanmaktadır. Bundan dolayı kadim Türk tarihi araştırmaları için Pehlevîce öğrenimi bir mecburiyet haline gelmiştir. Dolayısıyla bu bölümde günümüze kadar ulaşmış olan Pehlevîceye ait yazı çeşitleri hakkında derli toplu bilgi sunmak amaçlanmıştır. Sâsânîlerden günümüze kadar ulaşan tarihi metinlerde yedi farklı yazı çeşidinin kullanıldığı görülmektedir. Temelde Ârâm Alfabesi’nin kaynak olarak alındığı bu yazı çeşitlerinden iki tanesi harf karakteri olarak birbirine çok yakındır. Diğer dört yazı karakteri Ârâm Alfabesi’nin harf karakterlerinden oldukça uzaklaşmıştır. Bu yazı çeşitlerinden biri olan Parth yazısı Sâsânîler döneminde de kullanılmıştır. Sâsânîler dönemi alfabesi Parthlar döneminde Ârâm Alfabesi örnek alınarak oluşturulan alfabenin benzeridir. Süryânî alfabesiyle yazılan Mani yazılarının haricindeki bütün metinler bu alfabenin değişik türevleriyle yazılmışlardır. Bu yazılar kullanıldığı yerlere göre Parth Pehlevîcesi (Chaldeo Pahlavi), Kitâbe Pehlevîcesi (Inscriptional Pahlavi), Kitâbî Pehlevîce (Modern Pehlevîce/Book Pahlavi), Mezmûrlar Pehlevîcesi (Psalter Pahlavi), Pazând Pehlevîce ve Huzvariş (Zürvariş) şeklinde adlandırılmıştır. İslâm sonrası dönemde ibnu’l-Mukaffa’dan naklen İran dili ve yazısıyla ilgili bilgi veren ibnü’n-Nedîm, Sâsânîler döneminde çok farklı yazı çeşitlerinin kullanıldığını rivayet etmiştir. İslam sonrası kaynakların bahsettikleri bu yazı çeşitlerinden bazılarının günümüze kadar ulaşmadıkları anlaşılmaktadır.
