Résumé :
We review how quark models are able to describe the phenomenology of the charm meson sector. The spectroscopy and decays of charmonium and open charm mesons are described in a particular quark model and compared with the data and the results of other existing models in the literature. A quite reasonable global description of the heavy meson spectra is reached. A new assignment of the ψ(4415) resonance as a 3D state leaving aside the 4S state to the X(4360) is tested through the analysis of the resonance structure in e+e- exclusive reactions around the ψ(4415) energy region. We make tentative assignments of some of the XYZ mesons. To elucidate the structure of the 1+cs states, i.e., Ds1(2460) and Ds1(2536), we study the strong decay properties of the Ds1(2536) meson. We also perform a calculation of the branching fractions for the semileptonic decays of B and Bs mesons into final states containing orbitally excited charmed and charmed-strange mesons, which have become a very important source of information about the structure of heavy mesons. Analysis of the nonleptonic B-meson decays into D(*)DsJ are also included.

Résumé :
Semileptonic B(Bs, Bc) decays are investigated systematically in the light-cone QCD sum rules. Special emphasis is put on the LCSR calculation on weak form factors with an adequate chiral current correlator, which turns out to be particularly effective to control the pollution by higher twist components of spectator mesons. The result for each channel depends on the distribution amplitude of the the producing meson. The leading twist distribution amplitudes of the related heavy mesons and charmonium are worked out by a model approach in the reasonable way. A practical scenario is suggested to understand the behavior of weak form factors in the whole kinematically accessible ranges. The decay widths and branching ratios are estimated for several B(Bc) decay modes of current interest.

Résumé :
A systematic calculation for the transition form factors of heavy to light mesons (B, Bs, D, Ds→ π, K, η, ρ, K*, ω, ϕ) is carried out by using light-cone sum rules in the framework of heavy quark effective field theory. The heavy quark symmetry at the leading order of 1/mQexpansion enables us to reduce the independent wave functions and establish interesting relations among form factors. Some relations hold for the whole region of momentum transfer. The meson distribution amplitudes up to twist-4 including the contributions from higher conformal spin partial waves and light meson mass corrections are considered. The CKM matrix elements |Vub|, |Vcs| and |Vcd| are extracted from some relatively well-measured decay channels. A detailed prediction for the branching ratios of heavy to light meson decays is then presented. The resulting predictions for the semileptonic and radiative decay rates of heavy to light mesons (B, Bs, D, Ds→ π, K, η, ρ, K*, ω, ϕ) are found to be compatible with the current experimental data and can be tested by more precise experiments at B-factory, LHCb, BEPCII and CLEOc.

Résumé :
The rare decays [Formula: see text] are important to probe the flavor sector of the standard model and to search new physics beyond the SM. Unlike pseudoscalar [Formula: see text] meson, the leptonic decays of vector [Formula: see text] mesons are not chirally suppressed which compensates for their short lifetimes, and results in significant branching ratios. In this paper, we estimate the branching ratios of [Formula: see text][Formula: see text] rare decays in [Formula: see text] model which is an extension of the SM with an extra [Formula: see text] gauge symmetry. We find that the branching ratios are increased from their corresponding standard model values and vary with the mass of [Formula: see text] boson. The lower the mass of [Formula: see text] boson, the higher is the branching ratio.

The b and c quarks compete with each other in the decays of the Bc-meson. We show how one can obtain reliable signals of c→s decay in the Bc system in order to calculate the relative strengths of the two types of decays. This, we argue, can be done by considering the decay [Formula: see text], followed by semileptonic decays of the Bs. We suggest looking for like-sign dileptons together with a Ds at the BTeV or LHC-B experiments, and show that such signals can be made background-free by suitable event selection.

Résumé :
The charmless bottom meson decays are systematically investigated based on an approximate six-quark operator effective Hamiltonian from perturbative QCD. It is shown that within this framework the naive QCD factorization method provides a simple way to evaluate the hadronic matrix elements of two-body mesonic decays. The singularities caused by on mass-shell quark propagator and gluon exchanging interaction are appropriately treated. Such a simple framework allows us to make theoretical predictions for the decay amplitudes with reasonable input parameters. The resulting theoretical predictions for all the branching ratios and CP asymmetries in the charmless B0, B+, Bs → ππ, πK, KK decays are found to be consistent with the current experimental data except for a few decay modes. The observed large branching ratio in B→π0π0 decay remains a puzzle though the predicted branching ratio may be significantly improved by considering the large vertex corrections in the effective Wilson coefficients. More precise measurements of charmless bottom meson decays, especially on CP violations in B → KK and Bs → ππ, πK, KK decay modes, will provide a useful test and guide us to a better understanding on perturbative and nonperturbative QCD.

We report the status of an ongoing lattice-QCD calculation of form factors for exclusive semileptonic decays of B mesons with both charged currents (B → πlv, Bs → Klv) and neutral currents (B → πl+l-, B → Kl+l-). The results are important for constraining or revealing physics beyond the Standard Model. This work uses MILC’s (2+1 + 1)-flavor ensembles with the HISQ action for the sea and light valence quarks and the clover action in the Fermilab interpretation for the b quark. Simulations are carried out at three lattice spacings down to 0.088 fm, with both physical and unphysical sea-quark masses. We present preliminary results for correlation-function fits.

Utilizing the constrained parameters in these well measured decay channels, we study most of the possible charmless Bs → PP, PV and VV decay channels in the perturbative QCD approach. In addition to the branching ratios and CP asymmetries, we also give predictions to the polarization fractions of the vector meson final states. The size of SU (3) breaking effect is also discussed. Résumé :
We use experimental information on D−→K*0ρ− and B→ψ+K*, coupled with flavor independence of QCD, and with vector meson dominance, to show that long distance (LD) contributions to B→ρ+γ, especially to B−→ρ−+γ, are potentially very serious. Estimates based on the annihilation graph are shown to lead to similar conclusions. We emphasize that LD contributions can be appreciably different in B−→ρ−+γ and B0→ρ0(ω)+γ. All radiative decays of B, Bs are shown to be governed essentially by two LD and two short distance (SD) hadronic entities. Despite the presence of considerable LD contributions, we show how separate measurements of B−→ρ−+γ, B0→ρ0(ω)+γ, along with B→K*+γ, can be used for a systematic extraction of Vtd. Measurements of Bs→ɸ+γ and K*0+γ could also provide very useful consistency checks.

Résumé :
An independent quark model with a relativistic power-law potential is used to study the weak leptonic decays of light and heavy pseudoscalar mesons. The partial decay width and the decay constant for the weak leptonic decay are derived from the quark–antiquark momentum distribution amplitude which is obtained from the bound quark eigenfunction with the assumption of a strong correlation existing between quark–antiquark momenta inside the decaying meson in its rest frame. The model parameters are first determined from the application of the model to study the ground state hyperfine splitting of ρ, K, D, Ds, B, Bs and Bc mesons. The same model with no adjustable parameters is then used to evaluate the decay constants fM and the decay widths of pseudoscalar mesons. The model predictions agree quite well with the available experimental data as well as with those of several other models. The decay constant for pion and kaon are obtained as fπ = 132 MeV and fk = 161 MeV which closely agree with experimental values. But in case of heavier mesons for which experimental data are not yet available, the present model gives its predictions as fBC > fBS > fB, fDS > fD, fD > fB and fπ > fB which are in conformity with most of other model predictions. The model predictions of the corresponding decay widths and the branching ratios for the [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] decay modes are in close agreement with the available experimental data.

Résumé :
We investigate the effects of CP violation in nonleptonic decays of neutral B mesons (Bd, Bs) in the Kobayashi-Maskawa model through the quark exchange diagram in terms of the Wolfenstein matrix. In our calculation, we use the new data of mixing parameter xd= 0.70±0.13 which is derived from ARGUS and CLEO measurements and the new data on the branching ratio for Bd meson. We obtain the results that CP violating asymmetries for Bd→D+D−, π+π− and K+K− reach about 50% and the number of [Formula: see text] quark pairs needed to detect the asymmetry is O(106~107) at 3σ level, and the asymmetries for [Formula: see text], D−π+, D0π0 and D+π− reach the order of 20% and the number of [Formula: see text] pairs is O(108). Therefore, we may conclude that the CP violation for these decay modes is possibly observable at the present stage. The effects of fourth generation quarks on CP violation are also studied.

Based on data collected by the CLEO III detector at CESR, we started a series of investigations to open the mysteries of the ϒ(5 S ) resonance decay properties. Bs mesons are expected to decay predominantly into Ds meson, while the lighter B mesons decay into Ds only about 10% of the time. We exploit this difference to present the first evidence of a substantial production of Bs mesons at the ϒ(5 S ) resonance. We make here a preliminary model dependent estimate of the ratio of [Formula: see text] to the total [Formula: see text] quark pair production at the ϒ(5 S ) energy to be (21 ± 3 ± 9)%.

Résumé :
We study the weak-decay constants for the heavy pseudoscalar mesons, D, Ds, B and Bs. For this purpose, we employ the extended nonlocal chiral-quark model (ExNLChQM), motivated by the heavy-quark effective field theory as well as the instanton-vacuum configuration. In addition to the heavy-quark symmetry and the nonlocal interactions between quarks and pseudoscalar mesons in ExNLChQM, a correction for the strange-quark content inside Ds and Bs is also taken into account and found to be crucial to reproduce the empirical values. From those numerical results, we obtain fD, Ds, B, Bs = (207.53, 262.56, 208.13, 262.39) MeV , which are in good agreement with experimental data and other theoretical estimations. Using those numerical results, we estimate the CKM matrix elements and the Cabibbo angle with the various mesonic and leptonic heavy-meson decay channels, resulting in (|Vcd|, |Vcs|, |Vub|, |Vtd|/|Vts|) = (0.224, 0.968, <5.395×10-3, 0.215) and θC = 12.36° which are well compatible with available data.

Résumé :
An analytic solution of the N-dimensional radial Schrödinger equation with the combination of vector and scalar potentials via the Laplace transformation method (LTM) is derived. The current potential is extended to encompass the spin hyperfine, spin-orbit, and tensor interactions. The energy eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenfunctions have been obtained in the N-dimensional space. The present results are employed to study the different properties of the heavy-light mesons (HLM). The masses of the scalar, vector, pseudoscalar, and pseudovector for B, Bs, D, and Ds mesons have been calculated in the three-dimensional space. The effect of the dimensional number space is discussed on the masses of the HLM. We observed that the meson mass increases with increasing dimensional space. The decay constants of the pseudoscalar and vector mesons have been computed. In addition, the leptonic decay widths and branching ratio for the B+, D+, and Bs+ mesons have been studied. Therefore, the used method with the current potential gives good results which are in good agreement with experimental data and are improved in comparison with recent theoretical studies.

Radiative B decays provide valuable information on some poorly known CKM matrix elements |Vtb| and |Vts|. So in our letter we propose to study the flavor changing radiative B decays corresponding to the inclusive b→ sγ and b→dγ decays. In this letter we discuss the radiative flavor changing B→ K**γ, Bs→ϕ;γ and the rare Bc→D*γ decays taking into account both the Penguin as well as weak annihilation contribution and it is found that weak annihilation contribution is negligible in case of decay of mesons consisting of light spectator, i.e. for B→K**γ and Bs→ϕ;γ but in case of decay of Bc→D*γ, weak annihilation contribution is the most dominating factor. It is also interesting to note that all the B→ K**γ, Bs→ϕ;γ and Bc→ D*γ decays have almost the same decay width because they have the same type of inclusive decay process b→ s(d)γ.

The Bs→ϕψ decay is modeled through the inclusive b→ sψ decay. Using the vector meson dominance model, the amplitude for the chain process Bs→ϕ;ψ→ϕγ→γγ is estimated and it is found to be at most 4% of the corresponding amplitude from the O7 type LD contribution. The intermediate amplitude for the process Bs→ϕγ is compared with the corresponding one obtained by a different approach based on the interaction of the virtual charm quark loop with soft gluons.7 Both amplitudes are found to agree within 10%. Further the influence on the branching ratio B (Bs→γγ) SD + LD O7 from inclusive b→ sψ is estimated to be less than 1%.

In this paper, we analyzed the process of [Formula: see text] decay within QCD factorization (QCDF) and final state interaction (FSI) effects. At first, the [Formula: see text] decay is calculated via QCDF approach. The result that is found by using the QCDF method is less than the experimental result. Then we considered FSI effect as a sizable correction where there are the intermediate state [Formula: see text] mesons via the exchange of [Formula: see text]. The experi mental branching ratio of [Formula: see text] decay is [Formula: see text], and our results by QCDF and FSI are [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text], respectively.

We study the masses and decay constants of heavy–light flavor mesons D, Ds, B and Bs in a QCD potential model. The mesonic wave function is used to compute the masses of D and B mesons in the ground state and the wave function is transformed to momentum space to estimate the pseudoscalar decay constants of these mesons. The leptonic decay widths and branching ratio of these mesons for different leptonic channels are also computed to compare with the experimental values. The results are found to be compatible with available data.

Résumé :
Partial decay widths of the heavy-light mesons, D, Ds, B, and Bs, emitting one chiral particle (π or K) or photon γ are evaluated in the framework of a relativistic potential model. Decay amplitudes are calculated by keeping the Lorentz invariance as far as possible and use has been made of the Lorentz-boosted relativistic wave functions of the heavy-light mesons. One of predictions of our calculation is very narrow widths of a few keV for yet undiscovered Bs(0+, 1+) mesons corresponding to 2S+1LJ = 3P0 and "3P1" assuming their masses to be 5617 and 5682 MeV, respectively, as calculated in our former paper. Sizable radiative decay widths of D* or [Formula: see text] are obtained by including the 1st order corrections in 1/mQ expansion, in the unit of keV; Γ(D*0 → D0 + γ) = 9.8, Γ (D*+ → D+ + γ) = 0.71, [Formula: see text] and large radiative decay widths of DsJ are obtained compared with non-relativistic results.

Résumé :
The scalar glueball is observed in a coupled-channel analysis of the S-wave amplitude from BESIII data on radiative J/ψ decays and further data. Ten scalar isoscalar resonances were required to fit the data. Five of them were interpreted as mainly-singlet, five as mainlyoctet resonances in SU(3). The yield of resonances showed a striking peak with properties expected from a scalar glueball: • G0(1865) is produced abundantly in radiative J/ψ decays above a very low background. Its mass is 1σ compatible with the mass calculated in unquenched lattice QCD, and the yield is 1.6σ compatible with the yield calculated in lattice QCD. • The decay analysis of the scalar isoscalar mesons shows that the assignment of mesons to mainly-octet and mainly-singlet states is correct. Even the production of mainly-octet scalar mesons - which should be forbidden in radiative J/ψ decays - peaks at 1865 MeV. The decay analysis requires a small glueball content in the flavor wave function of several scalar resonances. The glueball content as a function of the mass shows a peak compatible with the peak in the yield of scalar isoscalar mesons. The sum of the fractional glueball contributions is compatible with one. • In the reaction Bs → J/ψ + K+K− reported by the LHCb collaboration, a primary ss̄ couples to mesons having a strong coupling to K+K−. Two peaks in the K+K− mass spectrum are seen due to ϕ(1020) and f′2(1525), but there is little evidence for the f0(1710) or other high-mass scalar mesons coupling strongly to KK̄. High-mass scalar mesons are strongly produced by two initial-state gluons but not by an ss̄ pair in the initial state. They must have sizable glueball fractions! • The D wave amplitude in the BESIII data on radiative J/ψ decays reveales a high-mass structure which can be described by a single Breit-Wigner or by the sum of three ϕϕ resonances interpreted as tensor glueballs a long time ago. The structure - and further tensor resonances observed in radiative J/ψ decays - are tentatively interpreted as tensor glueball. • In J/ψ decays into γπ0π0η′ several resonances are reported. The possibility is discussed that the pseudoscalar glueball might be hidden in these data.

Résumé :
I review two subject in which lattice simulations are making, or can make in the future, a significant contribution to particle physics phenomenology. The first subject is the evaluation of quantities which enter into the determination of the vertex A of the unitarity triangle from experimental measurements of decay rates and mixing amplitudes. These quantities include the form-factors for semileptonic B-decays, the leptonic decay constants of the B and Bs mesons and the B-parameters for [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] mixing and the corresponding parameter for [Formula: see text] mixing, BK. In the second part of this talk I will review the status and prospects for the evaluation of K → π π amplitudes and for the subsequent study of the Δ I = 1/2 rule and the evalution of ε′/ε.

Résumé :
We have studied phenomenological implication of R-parity violating (Rp) Minimal Supersymmetric Model (MSSM) via analyses of pure leptonic (M→νν¯) and semileptonic decays of pseudoscalar mesons (M→Xνν¯). These analyses involve comparison between theoretical predictions made by Rp MSSM and the Standard Model (SM) with the experimental results like branching fractions (Br) of the said process. We have found, in general, that Rp contribution dominates over the SM contribution, i.e., by a factor of 10 for the pure leptonic decays of KL,S and by 102 and 104 in case of Bs and Bd, respectively. Furthermore, the limits obtained on Rp Yukawa couplings (λαkβ′λαkγ′⁎) by using Br (M→Xνν¯) are used to calculate Br (M→νν¯). This demonstrates the role of Rp MSSM as a viable model for the study of new physics contribution in rare decays at places like Super B factories, KOTO (J-PARC) and NA62 at CERN.

We have constructed a high-pT trigger for the HERA-B experiment at DESY. The HERA-B experiment produces B mesons by inserting wire targets into the halo of the proton beam circulating in HERA. The high-pt trigger records events that contain tracks that have high transverse momentum with respect to the beam. Such a trigger is efficient for recording B → π+π-, B → K- π+, Bs → K+ K-, [Formula: see text], and other topical hadronic B decays. These decays provide sensitivity to the internal angles alpha and gamma of the CKM unitarity triangle, and they also can be used to measure or constrain the [Formula: see text] mixing parameter xs.

We consider a model in which the third family fermions are subjected to an SU(2) interaction different from the first two family fermions. Constrained by the Z-pole data, the heavy gauge boson mass is bounded from below to be about 1.7 TeV at the 2σ level. In this model, the flavor mixing between τ and μ can be so large that [Formula: see text] and Br (τ→μμμ) provide a better constraint than the LEP/SLC data in some region of parameter space. Furthermore, flavor-changing neutral currents are unavoidable in the quark sector of the model. The rare decay [Formula: see text] plays a key role for the testing of the Standard Model. It is pointed out that the sizable decay width difference ΔΓsof the Bs-meson system affects this channel in a subtle way. As a consequence, its calculated Standard Model branching ratio has to be upscaled by about 10%. Moreover, the sizable ΔΓsmakes a new observable through the effective [Formula: see text] lifetime accessible, which probes New Physics in a way complementary to the branching ratio and adds an exciting new topic to the agenda for the high-luminosity upgrade of the LHC. Further probes of New Physics are offered by a CP-violating rate asymmetry. Correlations between these observables and the [Formula: see text] branching ratio are illustrated for specific models of New Physics.

Résumé :
The phenomenological structure of inclusive cross-sections of the production of two neutral K mesons in hadron–hadron, hadron–nucleus and nucleus–nucleus collisions is theoretically investigated taking into account the strangeness conservation in strong and electromagnetic interactions. Relations describing the dependence of the correlations of two short-lived and two long-lived neutral kaons $K_S^0K_S^0,K_L^0K_L^0$ and the correlations of “mixed” pairs $K_S^0K_L^0$ at small relative momenta upon the space-time parameters of the generation region of K0 and K̅0 mesons have been obtained. These relations involve the contributions of Bose-statistics and S -wave strong final-state interaction of two K0 (K̅0) mesons as well as of the K0 and K̅0 mesons, and also the additional contribution of transitions K+K– → K0 K̅0, and they depend upon the relative fractions of generated pairs K0K0, K̅0 K̅0 and K0 K̅0. It is shown that under the strangeness conservation the correlation functions of the pairs $K_S^0K_S^0$ and $K_L^0K_L^0$, produced in the same inclusive process, coincide, and the difference between the correlation functions of the pairs $K_S^0K_S^0$ and $K_S^0K_L^0$ is conditioned exclusively by the production of the pairs of non-identical neutral kaons K0 K̅0. For comparison, analogous correlations for the pairs of neutral heavy mesons D0, B0 and $B_s^0$, generated in multiple inclusive processes with charm (beauty) conservation, are also theoretically analyzed. These correlations are described by quite similar expressions: in particular, just as for K0 mesons, the correlation functions for the pairs of states with the same CP parity (RS S = RLL) and with different CP parity (RS L) do not coincide, and the difference between them is conditioned exclusively by the production of pairs D0 D̅0, B0B̅0 and $B_s^0\bar B_s^0$. However, contrary to the case of K0 mesons, here the distinction of CP-even and CP-odd states encounters difficulties – due to the insignificant differences of their lifetimes and the relatively small probability of purely CP-even and CP-odd decay channels. Nevertheless, one may hope that it will become possible at future colliders.

Recent experimental measurements and lattice QCD calculations are now reaching the precision (and accuracy) needed to over-constrain the CKM parameters [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. In this brief review, we discuss the current status of lattice QCD calculations needed to connect the experimental measurements of B meson properties to quark flavor-changing parameters. Special attention is given to B→πℓν, which is becoming a competitive way to determine |Vub|, and to [Formula: see text] mixings, which now include reliable extrapolation to the physical light quark mass. The combination of the recent measurement of the Bs mass difference and current lattice calculations dramatically reduces the uncertainty in |Vtd|. We present an outlook for reducing dominant lattice QCD uncertainties entering CKM fits and remark on lattice calculations for other decay channels.

Résumé :
Advances in high intensity beams have driven particle physics forward since the inception of the field. State-of-the-art and next generation high intensity beams will drive experiments searching for ultrarare processes sensitive through quantum corrections to new particle states far beyond the reach of direct production in foreseeable beam colliders. The recent discovery of the ultrarare B meson decay Bs → μμ, with a branching fraction of 3 × 10-9 for example, has set stringent limits on new physics within direct reach of the Large Hadron Collider. Today, even in the context of the Higgs boson discovery, observation of finite neutrino masses is the only laboratory evidence of physics beyond the Standard Model of particle physics. The tiny mass scale of neutrinos may foretell and one day expose physics that connects quarks and leptons together at the "grand unification" scale and may be the portal through which our world came to the matter-dominated state so different from conditions we expect in the early universe. Here we describe next generation neutrino and rare processes experiments that will deeply probe these and other questions central to the field of particle physics.

Abstract We derive a QCD sum rule for the inverse moment of the Bs-meson light-cone distribution amplitude in HQET. Within this method, the SU(3)f l symmetry violation is traced to the strange quark mass and to the difference between strange and nonstrange quark condensate densities. We predict the ratio of inverse moments λBs/λB = 1.19 ± 0.14 which can be used in various applications of these distribution amplitudes to the analyses of Bs-meson decays, provided an accurate value of λB is available from other sources, such as the B → ℓνℓγ decay.

Résumé :
Abstract We compute the Darwin operator contribution ($$ 1/{m}_b^3 $$ 1 / m b 3 correction) to the width of the inclusive non-leptonic decay of a B meson (B+, Bd or Bs), stemming from the quark flavour-changing transition b → $$ {q}_1{\overline{q}}_2{q}_3 $$ q 1 q ¯ 2 q 3 , where q1, q2 = u, c and q3 = d, s. The key ideas of the computation are the local expansion of the quark propagator in the external gluon field including terms with a covariant derivative of the gluon field strength tensor and the standard technique of the Heavy Quark Expansion (HQE). We confirm the previously known expressions of the $$ 1/{m}_b^3 $$ 1 / m b 3 contributions to the semi-leptonic decay b → $$ {q}_1\mathrm{\ell}{\overline{\nu}}_{\mathrm{\ell}} $$ q 1 ℓ ν ¯ ℓ , with ℓ = e, μ, τ and of the $$ 1/{m}_b^2 $$ 1 / m b 2 contributions to the non-leptonic modes. We find that this new term can give a sizeable correction of about −4 % to the non-leptonic decay width of a B meson. For Bd and Bs mesons this turns out to be the dominant correction to the free b-quark decay, while for the B+ meson the Darwin term gives the second most important correction — roughly 1/2 to 1/3 of the phase space enhanced Pauli interference contribution. Due to the tiny experimental uncertainties in lifetime measurements the incorporation of the Darwin term contribution is crucial for precision tests of the Standard Model.

Résumé :
Abstract We present a comprehensive analysis of form factors for two light pseudoscalar mesons induced by scalar, vector, and tensor quark operators. The theoretical framework is based on a combination of unitarized chiral perturbation theory and dispersion relations. The low-energy constants in chiral perturbation theory are fixed by a global fit to the available data of the two-meson scattering phase shifts. Each form factor derived from unitarized chiral perturbation theory is improved by iteratively applying a dispersion relation. This study updates the existing results in the literature and explores those that have not been systematically studied previously, in particular the two-meson tensor form factors within unitarized chiral perturbation theory. We also discuss the applications of these form factors as mandatory inputs for low-energy phenomena, such as the semi-leptonic decays Bs→ π+π−ℓ+ℓ− and the τ lepton decay τ → π−π0ντ, in searches for physics beyond the Standard Model.
