El presente ensayo incunabulístico ofrece el elenco de libros impresos en el siglo XV de Agustín de Hipona, o a él atribuidos, y de autores pertenecientes a la Orden de San Agustín: Egidio Romano, Pablo de Venecia, Agustín Triunfo de Ancona, Ambrosio Massari de Cori, Gregorio de Rímini, Jaime Pérez de Valencia, Alfonso Vargas de Toledo, entre otros, que se conservan en las bibliotecas de España. El número de incunables impresos entre 1467 y 1500 asciende a 150, estampados mayormente en talleres tipográficos de Venecia (52), Basilea (14) y Roma (11). Los ejemplares únicos suponen el 43,3%; situándose a la cabeza la Biblioteca Nacional de Madrid con 33 incunables únicos, y a considerable distancia le siguen la Biblioteca Capitular Colombina, de Sevilla, con cinco incunables, y con cuatro las bibliotecas del Monasterio Santa María de LaVid (Burgos) y de la Universidad de Barcelona. De cada libro incunable se ofrece su identificación, características generales, ubicación y, en la mayoría de las veces, la edición digital. La información sistemática y científica hace referencia, principalmente, al aspecto externo del libro.

Il presente contribuito descrive la struttura e i contenuti del Glossario Bergamasco Medioevale di Antonio Tiraboschi, attualmente conservato presso la Biblioteca Civica Angelo Mai di Bergamo, e costituito da quattro quaderni manoscritti e inediti, all’interno dei quali sono registrati oltre 2000 lemmi organizzati alfabeticamente. Si descrivono le fonti, edite e inedite, dalle quali Tiraboschi attinge i frammenti citati all’interno di ciascun lemma e si propone una classificazione delle annotazioni di cui il Glossario si compone in tre sottogruppi:
note di carattere dialettologico, riguardanti gli esiti di forme latine o proto-romanze in italiano e nei dialetti gallo-italici (bergamasco, in primis) o relative alle particolari sfumature semantiche osservabili nel lessico del bergamasco;
annotazioni di natura linguistica sulla comparsa di costruzioni romanze in sostituzione delle costruzioni latine, e sulle innovazioni semantiche romanze ravvisabili all’interno dei frammenti citati ad esemplificazione di ciascun lemma;
osservazioni di carattere onomastico, relative a toponimi, microtoponimi e – più raramente – nomi personali.
L’analisi condotta rappresenta un passo preliminare alla realizzazione di una edizione digitale (consultabile in modalità Open access a partire dalla home page della Biblioteca Civica Angelo Mai) dei preziosi materiali linguistici di cui il Glossario si compone e di una corrispondente edizione cartacea, che favoriscano valorizzazione e la fruizione del lavoro svolto dallo studioso bergamasco.
Notes for an edition of Glossario Bergamasco Medioevale by Antonio Tiraboschi
This paper describes the structure and the content of Antonio Tiraboschi's Glossario Bergamasco Medioevale, currently preserved at the Biblioteca Civica Angelo Mai in Bergamo, consisting of four manuscripts and unpublished notebooks containing more than 2000 alphabetically organized headwords. The sources, both published and unpublished, from which Tiraboschi drew the fragments cited as part of each lemma are described and a classification of the annotations into three subgroups is proposed:
notes of a dialectological nature, concerning either Latin or proto-Roman forms in Italian as well as in the Gallo-Italic dialects (Bergamasque, in primis) or relating to particular semantic nuances observable in the lexicon of Bergamasque;
linguistic notes on the appearance of Romance constructions replacing Latin constructions and questionable Romance semantic innovations in the fragments cited as examples of each lemma;
onomastic observations, concerning toponyms, microtoponyms and - more rarely - personal names.
This analysis is preliminary step towards creating a digital edition (available in Open access mode from the home page of the Biblioteca Civica Angelo Mai) of the precious linguistic materials which compose the Glossary and a corresponding paper edition, which will favor the valorization and fruition of the work carried out by the Bergamasque scholar.

Esta contribución expone la descripción, origen y desarrollo del proyecto de investigación financiado Biblioteca Digital Ovidiana, que se encuentra en la quinta fase de implementación. El proyecto, cuya investigación se desarrolla dentro de las bibliotecas con fondo antiguo que poseen ejemplares de las ediciones ilustradas de la obra del poeta romano Publio Ovidio Nasón, ha producido un sitio web especializado en la obra ovidiana a través del que se difunde la investigación y se ofrece una herramienta digital para el estudio del libro, de la tradición de la ilustración de las obras ovidianas y de la iconografía del mito entre los siglos XV y XIX.

El presente artículo está basado en la obra de Marguerite Yourcenar Memorias de Adriano. En esta novela la autora describe la vida del emperador romano Publio Elio Adriano, nacido en Itálica en el año 76 d. C., territorio cercano a Sevilla, y que ejerció su reinado en el siglo I de la era cristiana. La historia tiene como punto de partida la carta de Adriano a su amigo Marco contándole de la enfermedad incurable que padece, motivo por el cual retrocede en eltiempo y decide narrar su biografía. En ella describe la vida cotidiana de Roma, Grecia y las provincias conquistadas de Oriente como Persia, Siria y Egipto; es por su admiración hacia la cultura helénica que a Adriano lo llamaban el Griego. Es necesario mencionar que la relación de los intelectuales con el poder político fue muy intensa, especialmente entre los siglos II-I a. C., tiempo en que se desplegó el pensamiento helenístico, y que coincide con la gran expansión del Imperio Romano. Dentro de este contexto debemos ubicar a Adriano, tanto como hombre de gobierno como de cultura.

Partindo do estudo das bibliotecas pessoais de escritores religiosos, pretende-se situar o artigo de Murilo Mendes no contexto das disputas estéticas e teológicas no pensamento católico brasileiro, tanto quanto compreender os desdobramentos da leitura de Guardini para a sua poética.

We study and edit a poetic chapbook of the Biblioteca Nacional de España, whose current signature is [R/41101]. Although, through a copy of the Duke of T’Serclaes of Tilly, this issue was already known by several bibliographers since the nineteenth century, the whereabouts of the original of this Sevillian noble had been ignored for decades and might well be the same which now belongs to the aforementioned Biblioteca Nacional. For the first time, we offer a complete description of this chapbook, with the reference to some hitherto unknown works.

A literatura enquanto monumento capaz de abarcar as mais diversas ciências se apropria de temas e práticas sociais inerentes à ordem do real para sua constituição (BARTHES, 2013). Nesse sentido, as patologias que acometem o sujeito constituem um campo fértil de atuação para as narrativas literárias, de modo a explorá-las e investigar suas acepções no âmbito social, no espaço-tempo recortados. Assim, a vertente que mais se desponta a abordar tais moléstias é a do Naturalismo, marcada particularmente pelo cientificismo e pelo senso do real. Logo, a investigação feita neste trabalho permeia as manifestações e teorias no que se referem ao alcoolismo, à loucura, ao tratamento de reclusão e às demais doenças derivadas do excesso alcoólico. A partir de aportes teóricos como de Émile Zola, Michel Foucault e Fernando Santos, que tratam respectivamente do romance experimental, da loucura e do alcoolismo, analisa-se aqui as patologias exploradas nos romances naturalistas L’Assommoir (1877) e Alma em delírio (1909), de modo a investigar as teorias científicas em torno dessas e, por fim, averiguar o papel da literatura enquanto mediadora do diálogo existente entre os discursos da ciência e do corpo social.Palavras-chaves: Literatura. Chuva branca is the novel of greater repercussion of the Jew Amazonian Paulo Jacob, greeted with enthusiasm by authors such as Jorge Amado, Antônio Olinto, and Assis Brasil. It was the work through which Paulo Jacob achieved to overcome some regional barriers and made an appearance at a national level. Based on documentary regionalism, he represents a typology of Amazonian man from his disappointments and his fight against poverty, from his beliefs and culture. This research, when investigating the intertextuality, has as its general objective to track an Amazonian library which should have exercised power of modeling over the writing for Chuva branca, as well as trying showing specifically: that the themes about Amazon reality which appear with expressiveness come from the Amazon riverside, that is, man in Amazon, poverty, imagery, sacred, and indigenous culture; that, although intertexts cannot always be of easy detection, it is possible to make inter-textual relations with works belonging to the Amazon library, probable readings of Paulo Jacob, as in the case of some works linked to Sociology and Anthropology; that Paulo Jacob’s discursive construction, by trying to represent the man in Amazon from his dramas and fights, ended up having documentary nature with the objective of divulgating the culture and showing a significant part of an isolated and unknown region; that reading Chuva branca nowadays, about 50 years later, it known that between the novel’s horizon of expectation and our reading there are profound economic, historic, and social changes that took place not only in Amazon reality but also in world reality. This fact shows that the Amazon which was represented in Chuva branca is certainly less isolated and rural, as well as is permeated by technology and by the urbanization, and the reader’s look about the novel, while going through the timeframe, was renovated. It has to be said that my research is substantiated on the aesthetic reception theory, linked to Hans Robert Jauss and Wolfgang Iser, its main exponents. Obviously, the research do not remain itself within all limits of methodology suggested by this theory, but relates to it through some key concepts, such as horizon of expectation and fusion of horizons. Finally, I defend that what some author of the Amazonian library, such as sociologists and anthropologists, make with their sciences with respect to the documentation of the Amazonian man and his conditions, Paulo Jacob makes it through the representation, through the discursive construction, and his characters. He ends up divulgating to Brazil a significant part of its own face.
Chuva branca é o romance de maior repercussão do escritor judeu-amazonense Paulo Jacob, saudado por autores como Jorge Amado, Antônio Olinto e Assis Brasil. Foi a obra por meio da qual ele conseguiu transpor algumas barreiras regionais e chegou a ensaiar uma aparição em nível nacional. Empregando o regionalismo documentarista, Paulo Jacob representa uma tipologia de homem amazônico a partir de seus dramas e de sua luta contra a pobreza, a partir de suas crenças e cultura. Este trabalho, ao investigar a intertextualidade, tem como objetivo geral tentar rastrear a biblioteca amazônica que teria exercido poder de modelização sobre a escritura de Chuva branca, mostrando especificamente: que os temas sobre a realidade amazônica que aparecem com expressividade no romance vêm da Amazônia ribeirinha, a saber, o homem na Amazônia, a pobreza, o imaginário, o sagrado e a cultura indígena; q ue, embora o intertexto nem sempre seja de fácil detecção, é possível fazer relações intertextuais com obras pertencentes à biblioteca amazônica, prováveis leituras de Paulo Jacob, como é o caso de algumas ligadas à Sociologia e Antropologia; que a construção discursiva de Paulo Jacob, ao tentar representar o homem na Amazônia a partir de seus dramas e lutas, acabava tendo cunho documentarista com o fim de divulgar a cultura e de mostrar uma parte significativa de uma região isolada e desconhecida; e que lendo Chuva branca hoje, cerca de 50 anos depois, sabemos que entre o horizonte de expectativa da obra e a nossa leitura erguem-se profundas mudanças econômicas, históricas e sociais ocorridas não somente na realidade amazônica como na realidade mundial. Isso evidencia que a Amazônia que foi representada em Chuva branca é certamente menos isolada, menos rural e permeada pela tecnologia e pela urbanização, e o olhar do leitor sobre o romance, ao passar pelos seus contextos temporais, renovou-se. É oportuno dizer que a minha pesquisa encontra-se fundamentada na teoria da Estética da Recepção, ligada a Hans Robert Jauss e Wolfgang Iser, seus principais expoentes. Obviamente que a pesquisa não se mantém dentro de todos os limites da metodologia sugerida pela teoria, mas relaciona-se com ela por meio de alguns conceitos fundamentais, como horizonte de expectativas e fusão de horizontes. Por fim, defendo que o que alguns autores da biblioteca amazônica, tais como sociólogos e antropólogos, fazem com as suas ciências no tocante à documentação do homem amazônico e das suas condições, Paulo Jacob o faz por meio da representação, da construção discursiva e de seus personagens. Ele acaba divulgando, ao Brasil, uma parte significativa de seu próprio rosto.

Trata-se, em primeiro lugar, da edição semi-paleográfica dos fólios 673r-678r do manuscrito 116 du fonds français de Bibliothèque Nationale de Paris, datado nos finais do século XV (1460-1470). Em segundo lugar, o presente trabalho propõe um estudo comparativo de vários testemunhos medievais, cinco franceses e um português. Prioriza-se nesta tese sobre A Rainha dos Cárceres da Grécia de Osman Lins, a identificação do conjunto de obras insertas no romance. Com este intuito, foi realizado um rastreamento dos autores e obras citados por Lins. Tendo em mente que a obra centraliza-se no entendimento textual (leitura), no processo de remissão à outras obras (intertextualidade) e na compreensão do fazer literário (escrita), foram eleitos cinco temas fundamentais na construção de um romance. Em um esforço de síntese, as temáticas eleitas para exegese foram abrigadas em cinco capítulos. Em A Situação Narrativa (capítulo 1) as camadas narrativas foram desmembradas nos três gêneros narrativos que explicam como a elaboração da obra: o diário, o ensaio e o romance. A complexidade da intriga conduziu ao estudo do Enredo (capítulo 2) no qual foi pensado o papel do narrador, e do autor. Na pesquisa sobre O Espaço (capítulo 3) foram analisados o conceito de dobra e fusão, além da elaboração de mapas demarcando o percurso dos personagens pelo espaço do romance (apresentados nos anexos). Na abordagem sobre o Tempo (capítulo 4) foi esmiuçado a confecção do diário (com elaboração do calendário dos dias escritos em cada ano) e a importância da estrutura numérica na divisões do texto (com elaboração de tabelas que revelam a harmonia alcançada do ponto de vista do planejamento) . No último capítulo esta pesquisa trata dos Personagens (capítulo 5) que foram subdividivos em cômicas e trágicas, um personagem de personagens e personagens históricos. Na conclusão foram retomados os principais elementos. On this doctoral thesis, it is given priority to analyze the range of works inserted in the novel A Rainha dos Rárceres da Grécia, by Osman Lins. To accomplish this goal, authors and works cited in such novel have been traced. Taking for granted that the novel focuses on text understanding (reading), the process of remission to other works (intertextuality) and the comprehension of literature making (writing), five fundamental themes have been selected in building a novel. As a synthesis, five themes chosen to the exegesis were organized in five chapters. In chapter one, A Situação Narrativa, the narrative layers were dismembered in the three narrative genres which explain the elaboration of the work: the diary, the essay, and the novel. The comçlexity of the plot led the study of the story in chapter two, Enredo, in which the role of the narrator and the author were discussed. In chapter three, O Espaço, the concept of fold and fusion were analyzed, besides the elaboration of maps demarcating the routes of the characters along the novel space (showed in accompanying document). In chapter five, Tempo, the making of the diary was scrutinized (with the elaboration of the calendar of the days of writing on each year) and the importance of the numerical structure in the divisions of the text (with the elaboraion of tables which reveal the harmony reached from the perspective of planning). In chapter five, Personagens, this research concerns the characters which were divided into comic and tragic ones, a charcter of characters and historical characters. In the conclusion, the main elements were revisited. At last, attached documents were added on a list with works cited by the teacher according to their appearance in the diary and research notes about the cited authors.

This M.A. thesis is a modernized and annotated edition of an anonymous manuscript version of Lope de Vega's 'comedia' Peribanez y el Comendador de Ocana. The manuscript, part of a volume entitled "Comedias de Lope de Vega. Tomo I MSS", belonged at one time to Lord Holland and is now found in the Melbury House library of the Viscount and Viscountess of Galway in Dorset, England. The manuscript is not a direct copy of Lope de Vega's Peribanez but, more than likely, the work of a 'memorion'. A 'memorion' was someone who attended theatre performances for the purpose of memorizing, copying and finally adapting plays with perhaps the collaboration of a poet or the director of a theatre company, known as the 'autor de comedias'. These pirated adaptations would then be performed for rural audiences. Lope de Vega himself was well aware of these activities, which confirms that the profession of the 'memorion' was fairly common in those days. The main objective of this edition is to provide a readable text of the MS. To this end I have modernized the spelling and added the necessary punctuation and accents. I have reconstructed the text according to modern editing practices and rules of verification and also indicated the division of scenes or "cuadros" and the type of verse form used. Changed to the text of the MS and comments about the play are found in the notes at the end of the edited text. (Abstract shortened by UMI.)

A tese aqui apresentada trata da obra O Ateneu de Raul Pompéia. Contextualizou-se a época em que o autor viveu e as circunstâncias em que o livro foi escrito. Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica com trabalhos de autores que analisaram a obra, especialmente Schwarz e Bosi. A obra foi analisada sob a perspectiva testemunhal. Procedeu-se a um levantamento de dados sobre as ilustrações e os espaços de educação e cultura na época da escritura da obra, bem como dos livros que mais comumente circulavam entre os leitores do fim do século XIX. Estudos sobre representações sociais na literatura foram abordados tendo em vista dar sustentação teórica à análise dos procedimentos de citação em O Ateneu. Por fim foi realizado um levantamento sobre todas as referências literárias, menção a livros como suportes de informação e à biblioteca presentes na obra, seguido da análise das representações acerca de livros e leituras do personagem/narrador Sérgio. Concluiu-se que houve uma evolução intelectual nas leituras do personagem a partir do momento que começou a frequentar a biblioteca do colégio. No que diz respeito ao procedimento de citação, a conclusão é de que as leituras da infância, do personagem, são descritas e comentadas possibilitando identificar facilmente a forma como ele percebia tais livros, já os textos citados pelo narrador servem de subsídio para representar o irrepresentável, quando ele não consegue expressar algo com o vocabulário corrente ele utiliza uma referência literária para tal.The thesis presented here is based on the novel O Ateneu by Raul Pompéia. Elements of the era in which the author lived and the circumstances under which the book was written are contextualized. A bibliographic reference was carried out with work by authors who analyzed this novel, in particular Schwarz and Bosi. The novel was analyzed from the perspective of a testimonial. Data was collected about illustrations, education settings and culture at the time the novel was written in addition to books that were most commonly in circulation amongst readers at the end of the 19th Century. Studies about social representations in literature were addressed with the view to providing theoretical support to the analysis of the procedure for citation in O Ateneu. Finally, all literary references and books mentioned as sources of information and the bibliography present in the novel itself were studied followed by an analysis of the books and readings of the character and narrator, Sergio. It was concluded that there was an intellectual evolution of the readings of the character from the moment he began to frequent the school library. From what is said with respect to the procedure for citation, the conclusion is that the readings of the main character from his childhood are described and commented on thus enabling the identification and form in which he perceived such books. Texts cited by the narrator serve to represent the irrepresentable. When he is unable to express himself using correct vocabulary, he uses a literary reference for the aforementioned.

This M.A. thesis presents a modernized edition of the play El acierto en el engano y robador de su honra, written in the 17th century by Luis de Belmonte Bermudez. The play is extant in the MS. 15009 of the Biblioteca Nacional de Madrid and has not been previously edited. The Thesis contains an introduction, in which the most relevant problems of the edition are discussed, including, for example, the fact that the MS. was greatly censored. The text is on occasions difficult to read and presents some problems when deciding which parts should be included and which excluded. Three different scribes can be distinguished and the study of their handwriting and work is one of the most outstanding problems of this edition. The second part of the Thesis consists of the actual edition of the play. The punctuation and the orthography have been modernized, except in those cases where the phonetics of the text could be affected. The third part contains philological and paleographical annotations, intended to clarify different aspects of the MS. and obscure passages. The philological notes attempt to elucidate the meaning of cultured references, ambiguous sentences, ... and try to shed light on some grammatical aspects of the language of the text.

In 1915, one of the most widely read novels in the Provincial Library of Ceará from 1878 to 1887, The Adulterous Woman, by the Spanish Enrique Perez Escrich, was defined, in a kind of index, as "an unworthy work for household". Definitions like that one were not uncommon during the XIX century, when there was talk of novelistic stories. At that time, reading a novel was done among several impasses and interests, that is, consuming fiction books was a practice discussed by many crossed speeches. That is why speaking about historical uses of reading is to contribute to an analyses of book culture and of its place and meaning in a particular historical situation. Our work discusses the reading practices in the Provincial Library of Ceará, in the perspective of a critical mapping of books circuit in Fortaleza in the last decades of the XIX century.
Em 1915, um dos romances mais lidos na Biblioteca Provincial do Ceará entre 1878 e 1887, A mulher adúltera, do espanhol Enrique Perez Escrich, foi definido numa espécie de índex como “uma obra indigna de um lar”. Definições como essa não foram incomuns ao longo do século XIX quando se falava das histórias romanescas. Aqui, a leitura de um romance acontecia no meio de vários impasses e interesses. Ou seja, consumir ficção impressa era uma prática de muitos discursos cruzados. Por isso que falar dos usos históricos da leitura é contribuir para uma análise da cultura do livro, seu lugar e significado numa determinada configuração histórica. Nossa pesquisa discute as práticas de leitura na Biblioteca Provincial do Ceará na perspectiva de uma cartografia crítica do circuito das letras em Fortaleza nas últimas décadas do XIX.

Resumo: O Rio de Janeiro assistiu, no século XIX, à ampla circulação de uma literatura de cunho prescritivo cuja finalidade consistia em fornecer valores e padrões de conduta ao leitor. Em medos desse mesmo século, Joaquim Manoel de Macedo consagrou-se como autor de romances os quais eram considerados pela crítica literária do período como portadores de um caráter moralizador. A presente dissertação investiga as relações entre o romance moderno e a literatura prescritiva atendo-se, particularmente, na circulação dessa literatura nas livrarias e bibliotecas do Rio de Janeiro e na análise dos romance A Moreninha e Os Dois Amores. A análise dos romances macedianos em questão privilegia o cruzamento entre o comportamento dos personagens e as prescrições de que tratam alguns exemplares da literatura prescritiva em circulação no Rio de Janeiro do período. Além disso, investiga alguns procedimentos narrativos que teriam por objetivo conduzir o leitor a identificar-se com determinados valores de conduta considerados, no contexto da narrativa, virtuosos.
Abstract: In the Nineteenth Century, the city of Rio de Janeiro presented with a large circulation of a preventive literature with the intention of providing values and patterns of reader's behaviour. By the mid of the same century, Joaquim Manoei de Macedo was acclaimed as a novel writer whose were considered by the literature criticism from this period as bearer of moralized character. This present dissertation investigates the relationship between modern novel and prescriptive liter attire focus on particularly in the circulation of this literature m the bookstores and libraries from Rio de Janeiro and in the analysis the novels A Moreninha and Os Dois Amores. .Joaquim Manoel Macedo's novels' analysis privilégies the crossing between characters' behaviour and the prescriptions dealt with some issues from prescriptive literature which circulated in Rio de Janeiro in that time In addition to this, investigates some narrative producedures that aim to conduct the reader to identify with determinad values and patterns of behaviour considered virtuous in the context of narrative

Resumo: No início do século XIX, funcionários da Bibliotheca Nacional e Pública do Rio de Janeiro (atual Biblioteca Nacional) decidiram registrar os pedidos de livro para leituras realizadas na instituição, assim como o nome dos leitores, com vistas a evitar danos ou perda do acervo, produzindo registros cotidianos com os títulos das obras e o nome daqueles que as consultavam. O trabalho desses bibliotecários resultou em 14 "Códices de Consulta Pública", que compreendem o período de 1833 a 1856, encontrados atualmente na Seção de Manuscritos dessa mesma biblioteca. Esta dissertação volta-se para o conjunto de obras de Belas Letras solicitadas; destacando, em seu interior, os romances. A partir do estabelecimento dos títulos e autores, são identificados e comentados os mais solicitados. A pesquisa revela também quem são os leitores mais assíduos de romances e analisa seu perfil
Abstract: In the early nineteenth century, employees of the Bibliotheca Nacional e Pública do Rio de Janeiro (now Biblioteca Nacional) have decided to register the requests for books for readings held at the institution as well as the names of readers, in order to avoid damage or loss of the collection, producing daily records with title of books and the name of those who consulted. The work of these librarians resulted in 14 "Códices de Consulta Pública", between 1833 and 1856, currently found in the Seção de Manuscritos of that library. This dissertation turns to all the books of Belas Letras requested; highlight the novels; to identify titles and authors, and check the most requested and analyze them. The research also shows who are the most assiduous readers of novel and analyzes their profiles

In uno degli scritti teorici di Calvino troviamo la suggestiva e borgesiana proposta della biblioteca non solo come raccolta di opere, ma come sistema incrociato di combinazioni. La stessa letteratura altro non sarebbe che una biblioteca continuamente soggetta a mutamenti tesi a scalzare gli autori canonici per fare emergere gli apocrifi . Giacché, se la letteratura nasce e si nutre di desiderio, non può accontentarsi del dato, ma proiettarsi nel luogo di quello che non c’è, o che, se anche c’è, è nascosto, ancora invisibile e lontano. Le biblioteche allora non solo sono infinite, ma cambiano il senso di un libro a seconda della sezione in cui lo dispongono, della collocazione, delle modalità di consultazione e utilizzo, del modo di giocare gli spazi, di aprire/chiudere alla luce, all’ombra (in grattacieli, in sotterranei), facendo della biblioteca un luogo dove libri e lettori interagiscono in spazi talvolta mitici. Raccolta come sono, le biblioteche, per interposto racconto, non solo dei libri sopravvissuti alle catastrofi della storia, ma di quelli bruciati, perduti, inventati, che, per il solo fatto di essere stati almeno una volta scritti o pensati, hanno lasciato traccia. In questo libro, di grande ricchezza e suggestione, ideato e curato da Anna Dolfi , si riflette, con esemplificazioni dalla grande letteratura moderna, sul rapporto tra ombre di carta e di celluloide, tra inconturnables e marginalia, alla ricerca dei libri dentro le biblioteche e delle biblioteche dentro i libri. Sullo sfondo la musica, la geniale recitazione di Carmelo Bene, le strisce dei graphic, i progetti architettonici, gli schermi dei computer, e le pagine di un romanzo incompiuto di Giuseppe Dessí che parla di una biblioteca murata e di una cascata di libri all’origine di un immaginario romanzesco.

This article presents a brief overview of the presence of Romance language lexical elements in Ukrainian and lays the groundwork for further research on the Ukrainian alloglot lexis and the comparison of Ukrainian with Russian and Belarusian.

A marked difference can be observed between the native Slavic verbal lexicon, which mainly shows prefixation, thereby creating perfective forms, and that of Romance origin, where prefixation is almost completely absent and suffixation abounds, thereby creating imperfective forms.

In the paper morphological processes for creating aspectual pairs in Resian are discussed. A distinction is made between original Slavic verbs and verbs originating from other languages. In the former case the most productive process is prefixation (and perfectivation), whereas in the latter case for verbs of Romance origin the most productive process is suffixation (and imperfectivation). Verbs of Germanic origin also allow prefixation.

The analysis focuses on the novels “Proščanie s Matëroj” (Farewell to Matyora, 1976) by Valentin Rasputin and “Zona zatoplenija” (Flood Zone, 2015) by Roman Senčin, and seeks to highlight how literature, both in the Soviet Union and in modern Russia, deals with the critical discourse on environmental issues, the protection of nature, human freedom, and dignity of living beings.

I survey cases of contact-induced influence of Slavic and Baltic systems of prefixal perfectivization on Yiddish, Romani, Livonian and Istroromanian. I show that, although both matter and pattern borrowing of entire systems of Slavic or Baltic verbal prefixes is attested, grammatical aspectual categories similar to those of the donor languages do not arise in the contact languages, or develop in a way distinct from the donor languages (as in Istroromanian). This indicates that abstract grammatical oppositions such as “Slavic-style” aspect are immune to direct transfer in language contact.

Victorian novelist George Gissing (1857-1903) was a devotee of ancient Roman culture and visited Italy three times between 1888 and 1897. In spite of this admiration, his relationship with Italy was problematic, largely due to personal mishaps. In light of these conflicting views, my essay considers Gissing’s portrayals of mostly Southern Italian locations through his fiction, letters, and travelogues. The focus lies here not so much on the narrator but on the narrated space, with Bertrand Westphal’s notion of “geocriticism” at its theoretical core. Far from being a utopian haven, Gissing’s Italy emerges as a trans-cultural meeting point where the perception of an “interiorised place” can reshape reality, alter horizons, and redefine established values.

The present paper is dedicated to 16th-century Croatian author Petar Zoranić’s (Zadar / Zara, 1508 – 1569?) direct and mediated echoing of Dante’s oeuvre. Zoranić’s pastoral novel Planine (Mountains) belongs to the consistent tradition of reuse, quotation and translation that the Italian poet’s legacy has enjoyed in Croatia from the 14th century to the present day. Building on the work of the humanist writer Marko Marulić (Marcus Marulus Spalatensis, Split / Spalato, 1450-1524), who aspired to do for the Croatian vernacular what Dante did for the Italian volgare, Zoranić adapted Dante’s example to his own purposes not only in the promotion of the Croatian language and literature, but also in the celebration of the beauty, history and cultural heritage of his homeland. A true connoisseur of Dante’s original, the author from Zadar was also competent in the art of appropriation and creative reemployment of the Commedia’s various aspects, an exercise inaugurated by Boccaccio, and practiced by 15th and 16th-century men and women of letters. My contribution will focus on the modalities through which the text of Planine transforms the materials derived from Dante by mixing them with elements from other prestigious literary sources, in their turn heirs or precursors of Dante, such as works by Virgil, Ovid, the Church doctors, the Roman de la rose, Petrarch’s Trionfi, the Decameron and the early narrative production by Boccaccio, Arcadia by Sannazaro and, according to my hypothesis, the Hypnerotomachia Poliphili (Polifilo’s Dream) by Francesco Colonna.

Library „Transilvania” owns a large estimate of religious books, presence of which in this amazing book temple is a furthermore testimony that God is everywhere or how St. Ioan Gură de Aur stated: „who has a bible in their house, also has God”. Books value that creates this fund which consists not only in action it was edited in Bucureşti, Blaj, Alba Iulia and Roma, ongoing XVII, XX centuries, but in the sacred learning composed in it. The collections importance grows and through the fact that authors were saint people, who had a communion relationship with God and being enlightened by the divine grace spreading towards sharing continuously from the giving knowledge of life. And we, at our time, to become worthy of sending generations that come the necessity to know our creator.

Se pune accent pe acele trăsături morfologice care reflectă tendința de evoluare a limbii române de la sfârșitul secolului al XVIII-lea.

INTRODUÇÃO: O hematoma de erupção ou cisto de erupção é considerado uma variação do cisto dentígero em tecido mole, no qual ocorre quando o dente possui resistência ou algum empecilho ao erupcionar, sendo recoberto por um capuz de mucosa gengival e desenvolvendo líquido inflamatório em seu interior. Clinicamente, o hematoma é facilmente diagnosticado, pois apresenta um edema com coloração azul escura ou arroxeada, devido a presença de sangue na cavidade cística. Normalmente não é necessário tratamento, no entanto, quando o hematoma não rompe espontaneamente, causando incômodo ou dor, é realizada intervenção cirúrgica, denominada ulectomia. OBJETIVO: Apresentar uma revisão de literatura sobre a realização da Ulectomia como tratamento do Hematoma de Erupção. MATERIAL E MÉTODOS: Foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico na Biblioteca Virtual Acadêmica e nas bases de dados Scielo e Google Acadêmico de artigos publicados entre os anos de 2009 à 2021, mediante os descritores: cisto, erupção, hematoma e tratamento. RESULTADOS: A ulectomia consiste em um procedimento cirúrgico onde é realizado a exérese dos tecidos moles que estão impedindo o desenvolvimento da erupção dentária, permitindo um caminho para o dente ocupar sua posição correta na arcada. A execução da técnica é simples e inclui anestesia local seguida de incisão do tecido, exposição da coroa dental, remoção da mucosa gengival que recobre dente e hemostasia. Nos casos em que a coroa dentária também é recoberta por tecido ósseo alveolar, faz-se necessário realizar cuidadosamente a osteotomia. Vale ressaltar que a técnica de ulectomia só pode ser considerada se o estágio de rizogênese do elemento dentário corresponder ao estágio 8 de Nolla, ou seja, se estiver com 2/3 da raiz formada, ou estágio 7 de Nolla, ou seja, se estiver com 1/3 da raiz formada. CONCLUSÃO: Pode-se concluir que, a ulectomia é um procedimento de baixa complexidade e apropriado para casos de hematoma de erupção nos quais a lesão cística não se rompe naturalmente. Portanto, cabe ao cirurgião dentista realizar uma avaliação clínica e radiográfica de forma adequada, a fim de saber indicar corretamente a conduta terapêutica de acordo com cada caso.
