Résumé :
This paper takes as its starting point Homi Bhabha’s explanation of culture and diversity in his essay The Location of Culture (1994), in which he denotes cultural meaning as existing in a transitional space between clashing cultures and, associatively, between competing histories. The cultural space to which Bhabha refers offers a path to a reinvention of the hybrid self (and nation) beyond the more restrictive parameters of what Foucault has termed “the inscribed surface of events” (Foucault, “Nietzsche, Genealogy, History” 344) that the body represents. With reference to Bhabha’s delineation of spatial awareness and Foucault’s observations of power discourse and the body as a site of knowledge and discursion but also as an inhibiting site of colonisation, and in light of previous English-language Malaysian fiction, I will examine the ways in which Tan Twan Eng (1972-) investigates the conundrum of memory and historical inscription, and his textual approach to the vexed questions of self-determinism and postcolonial agency in his novels, The Gift of Rain (2007) and The Garden of the Evening Mists (2012).

Résumé :
The portrayal of creole identity is presented in several literary works, one of them is in the portrayal of Antoinette Cosway in Jean Rhys Wide Sargasso Sea. Antoinette Cosway firstly is the minor character in Charlotte Bronts Jane Eyre. The research traces the link between Antoinette Cosways creole identity with her madness. According to Bhabhas ambivalence theory, creole identity possibly creates a new identity as the result of interrelation between colonizer and colonized. Based on the research, Antoinette Cosway failed to create a new identity and became a madwoman instead. The cause is the complex situation faced by her and the lack of supporting aspects for constructing a new identity. Keywords: creole identity, ambivalence, Antoinette Cosway, Homi Bhabha

Résumé :
: Wetlands serve as potential reservoirs of water which also harbor coveted bioresources, that sustain animal life. Fish is a potential bioresource for nutrition and offers workplaces for people. The present investigation intended to study the fish diversity in Bhagda/Bhagta Taal, a wetland along with threats and their possible conservation measures. The study revealed the occurrence of 41 freshwater fish species which belong to 29 genera under 16 families and 8 orders. The order Cypriniformes, which was found to be the most dominant order, comprises 16 species sharing 39.02 % of the total fish population of the wetland. The highest diversity was recorded in the family Cyprinidae (16 species) followed by Channidae (5 species), Bagriidae (4 species), Siluridae (3species), Mastacembelidae (2 species) and the remaining 11 families included solitary species. The present investigation showed that Bhagda Taal possesses rich biodiversity but proper conservation measures are required to maintain its sustainability. The IUCN conservation status of fish species in the wetland has been worked out as 4.88% endangered (EN), 2.44 % Vulnerable (VU), 12.20% Near threatened (NT), 75.60% Least concern (LC) and 4,88 % Not evaluated (NE). There is a need for the conservation of fish diversity in this natural wetland. The pressure is increasing day by day due to the increasing population, leading to loss of fish diversity hence, identifying the problem and making a better management plan is the way for conservation of the fish diversity of wetlands of Uttar Pradesh.

Résumé :
Jatio Sangsad Bhaban, the National Assembly Building of Bangladesh, is an iconic building and architectural landmark designed by American architect Louis I. Kahn. Jatio Sangsad Bhaban was constructed between 1962 and 1983 and is located in the heart of Dhaka, the nation’s capital. The extant literature on Louis I. Kahn’s work suggests that Jatio Sangsad Bhaban is a significant architectural masterpiece. One of its most notable features is its architectonic quality, providing it with the grandeur of a modern monumental building. In this context, this paper aims to examine the underlying multiple meanings, that is, socio-political, cultural, historic and philosophical meanings of the Jatio Sangsad Bhaban building By constructing and summarising meanings, rather than exploring the physical building itself, this paper supports the notion of multidimensional perspectives of monumental architecture. —The multiple meanings of icoic architecture through the lens of societal issues has been endorsed by many architectural critic. Accordingly, this paper considers the cultural, political, ethical and historical meanings of Jatio Sangsad Bhaban. Revealing and summarising other aspects apart from its architectonic dimensions is a new approach to understanding a widely acclaimed iconic building like Jatio Sangsad Bhaban

Résumé :
Trauma or injury to the bones and joints has been a challenging state of affairs since the times of prehistoric man. Fracture in Ayurveda is termed as Bhagna which is brilliantly explained and tabulated under the heading ‘Bhagna Chikitsa’ in the classical texts. Acharya Sushruta, the father of Surgery and the pioneer of Sushruta Samhita has described absolute about fracture’s etiology, classification and various techniques for its management. Asthi un- dergoes musculo-skeletal, traumatical injuries resulting in Bhagna i.e. Fracture which implies to breach or break in the continuity of a bone. It can be classified into two main types-Kanda Bhagna and Sandhi-Mukta. Basti is a basic and remarkable therapy in Asthi-related diseases. As Vata Dosha contributes extensively for the occurrence of Asthi-related diseases because of the Asharya-Asharyi Bhava. The present paper reviews the role and mode of action of Anuvasan Basti in the healing of a fracture. The description available in Ayurvedic texts are as much pertinent in modern times as they were in past. Keywords: Bhagna, Fracture, Anuvasan Basti, Ayurveda

Résumé :
Abstract The first-order formalism of relativistic wave equations, such as the Dirac (spin s = 1=2) and the Kemmer (s = 1) equations, are generalized to the Bhabha (one s) equation, where the generalized gamma matrices for space-time dimension (3+1) are labeled with not only s but also s′ ∈ {s, s − 1,… s − ⎣s⎦}. We show that for s′ = s, the generators (D, Pμ , Kμ , Sμν ) constructed from the generalized gamma matrices satisfy the conformal algebra, in which we find that the null-eigenstates |s ±〉 with respect to Pμ and Kμ as Pμ |s +〉 = 0 = Kμ |s −〉 have the two following properties: the dimension of the eigenspace for|s ±〉 is given by 2s + 1, and s ^ 2 | s ± 〉 = s ( s + 1 ) | s ± 〉 , where s ^ represents the spin magnitude. In this sense, we can regard |s ±〉 as physical states for a massive particle.

Lorentz symmetry is a fundamental symmetry in the Standard Model (SM) and in General Relativity (GR). This symmetry holds true for all models at low energies. However, at energies near the Planck scale, it is conjectured that there may be a very small violation of Lorentz symmetry. The Standard Model Extension (SME) is a quantum field theory that includes a systematic description of Lorentz symmetry violations in all sectors of particle physics and gravity. In this paper, SME is considered to study the physical process of Bhabha Scattering in the Gravitoelectromagnetism (GEM) theory. GEM is an important formalism that is valid in a suitable approximation of general relativity. A new nonminimal coupling term that violates Lorentz symmetry is used in this paper. Differential cross-section for gravitational Bhabha scattering is calculated. The Lorentz violation contributions to this GEM scattering cross-section are small and are similar in magnitude to the case of the electromagnetic field.
