En réexaminant la notion rahnérienne d’avenir absolu à la lumière de la notion nishidienne de présent absolu, il est possible d’apporter une solution au problème suivant : rejoint-on Dieu (Rahner) ou l’absolu (Nishida) dans un avenir situé au-delà de la temporalité ou bien dans l’instant présent, compris comme le lieu même du jaillissement de la temporalité ? Dans la mesure où elle s’appuie sur une philosophie du néant absolu, la pensée de Nishida permet de dégager la philosophie de la religion de Rahner des cloisons de l’onto-théo-téléologie qui l’enserrent et, la plaçant ainsi sur un horizon plus vaste, la rend apte à exprimer, d’une manière qu’on espère nouvelle, les nombreuses potentialités qu’elle recèle encore. Current clinical studies confirm that the consumption of oats for people suffering from celiac disease is safe. Some studies have confirmed different levels of immunoreactive gluten epitopes of oats in different cultivars, while others explain these differences due to contamination with gluten-rich species or as random cross-reactivity ELISA of homologous oat epitopes with anti-wheat gliadin antibodies. The aim of our two-year study was therefore to map cross-reactive oat epitopes in a set of 132 oat cultivars using a G12-based ELISA kit. The results were focused on the varietal and annual level of cross-reactivity (interference) of avenin epitopes with the G12 antibody on the identification of potential cultivars with significantly different interferences and assessing the degree of risk of possible false-contamination with external gluten. Although repeated evaluations confirmed high year-to-year variability (RSD ≥ 30%) in approximately 2/3 of the cultivars, the content of interfering avenin epitopes with G12 did not exceed the considered safe limit (20 mg·kg−1) for celiacs. At the same time, not only annual but, above all, significant cultivar dependences in the interference of avenins to the G12 antibody were demonstrated. Genetic dependence was further confirmed in connection with the proven avenin polymorphism as well as immunoblotting with the identification of interfering peptides with the G12 antibody in the 25 and 30 kDa regions. It was the occurrence of two bands around 30 kDa that predominantly occurred in oat cultivars with a relatively higher content of cross-reactive avenins (12–16 mg·kg−1). Due to the fact that the contents of interfering avenins ranged in several cultivars even over 16 mg·kg−1, the choice of a suitable oat cultivar may be crucial for gluten-free food producers, as it reduces the risk of a possible false-response of the commercial ELISA kits when checking the real-gluten contamination.

<p>Cet article s’intéresse sur la possible création d’une “biodiversité” au sein de l’espèce humaine. Certains scientifiques et philosophes transhumanistes défendent aujourd’hui un progressisme prométhéen de transformation de la nature humaine par la technologie. Cette utopie technoscientifique ayant pour objectif l’amélioration de l’être humain s’appuie sur les pouvoirs nouveaux de la biomédecine. Du point de vue des technologies convoquées autant que de la relation à l’être humain, les spéculations posthumanistes oscillent entre deux orientations. La première se situe davantage dans le prolongement du transhumanisme, c’est-à-dire de la transformation biophysique de l’être humain; cette voie accentue soit les technosciences du vivant (biotechnologie, génétique, neuroscience) soit les technologies prothétiques et cybernétiques. La seconde orientation est “externe” car elle ne passe pas par une telle transformation. Elle extrapole à partir des recherches et inventions dans les domaines de la robotique et de l’intelligence artificielle (IA).</p>

Most of the existing literature on knowledge and knowledge management has a Western or Japanese origin. While this literature provides important insights and findings, these may not necessarily be successfully replicable in other contexts and may lose some of their relevance when applied there. Such and similar observations have given a rise to a substantial number of knowledge management studies conducted in non-Western settings, among those transition economies. We highlight three particular challenges to the knowledge management literature in transition economies: moving beyond the extension of existing knowledge to instead developing contextualized and distinct knowledge; shifting from studying unidirectional knowledge transfer to examining multidirectional knowledge flows; and changing emphasis from studying knowledge transfer to studying knowledge creation.

In the last decade, implications of human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT), a component of ribonucleoprotein telomerase in aging, senescence, and stem cell are highly evident. Besides, the activation of hTERT is also being documented several cancer types including carcinoma. The awakening of telomerase during carcinoma initiation and development is being seen with different perspectives including genetic and epigenetic tools and events. In view of several tumor progenitors genes (also referred as epigenetic mediators), telomerase is placed as key enzyme to achieve the carcinoma phenotype and sustain during the progression. It is true that swaying of telomerase in carcinoma could be facilitated with dedicated set of epigenetic modulators and modifiers players. These epigenetic alterations are heritable, potentially reversible, and seen as the epigenetic signature of carcinoma. Several papers converge to suggest that DNA methylation, histone modification, and small non-coding RNAs are the widely appreciated epigenetic changes towards hTERT modulation. In this review, we summarize the contribution of epigenetic factors in the telomerase activation and discuss potential avenues to achieve therapeutic intervention in carcinoma.

Crypto, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and the metaverse have taken a massive place in our daily conversations and are highly valued. Moreover, NFTs range from luxury fashion to art, and sound is no exception, although it still needs to be explored. Could this be a unique opportunity to go digital from creation to distribution? This study looks at sound NFTs and new avenues for digital audio communication. During the pandemic, podcasts have been exhausted, leaving space for new digital media business opportunities. We look at how sound has grown, assuming a prominent role in the new media ecosystem due to podcasts consumption. We explore NFTs and their evolution in different markets over the years, highlighting the space that sound content has gained on these platforms as new possibilities for dissemination, promotion, and sale. We use content analysis on marketplaces that provide sound NFTs to understand what audio content consumers can find and future opportunities.

The present work aims, firstly, to analyze the changes in the commercial topography of the city of Rome in classical times and second to discuss surroundings of the emergence of new avenues of luxury character. The Roman expansion by the Mediterranean and the Atlantic during the republican period allowed to reaffirm Rome over the rest of the cities. War booties, new colonized territories, and a more globalized economy fostered the interests of an increasingly rich section of the population. Traditional elites and newcomers competed for the most unique and unique products of the known world. With the change of era, the craftsman specialized in the elaboration and subsequent sale of luxury products in Rome was acquiring the control of the premises closest to the political-administrative center of the Urbs. Thus, to the important historical value of the area was added a concentration of diverse specialized trades vertebrates by the sacra via, varying the commercial character of the urban center, transforming itself from an agricultural commerce to a luxurious one. In order to know what the interests of the urban elites of the ss. I-III A.D. I studied the different commercial sectors highlighted in the epigraphy of the characters involved in the luxury trade in Rome. In a second section, I compared this information with the current one to verify if it is possible to determine a pattern of similarity, first, in the taste for the sumptuary and second, in knowing what type of businesses turn out to be the most notorious in sumptuous avenues. To do, I examined the five most important commercial avenues of the years 2015/16 according to the ranking prepared by the real estate consultants Cushman and Wakefield in the publication Main Streets Across The World.

Zika virus (ZIKV) was discovered in Uganda in 1947 and was originally isolated only in Africa and Asia. After a spike of microcephaly cases in Brazil, research has closely focused on different aspects of congenital ZIKV infection. In this review, we evaluated many aspects of the disease in order to build its natural history, with a focus on the long-term clinical and neuro-radiological outcomes in children. The authors have conducted a wide-ranging search spanning the 2012–2021 period from databases PubMed, PubMed Central, Web of Science, Medline, Scopus. Different sections reflect different points of congenital ZIKV infection syndrome: pathogenesis, prenatal diagnosis, clinical signs, neuroimaging and long-term developmental outcomes. It emerged that pathogenesis has not been fully clarified and that the clinical signs are not only limited to microcephaly. Given the current absence of treatments, we proposed schemes to optimize diagnostic protocols in endemic countries. It is essential to know the key aspects of this disease to guarantee early diagnosis, even in less severe cases, and an adequate management of the main chronic problems. Considering the relatively recent discovery of this congenital infectious syndrome, further studies and updated long-term follow-up are needed to further improve management strategies for this disease.

Dans l’enquête réalisée par l’Association française fédérative des étudiants en psychiatrie (AFFEP) en 2011, 40 % des internes émettaient le souhait de s’orienter vers une activité libérale dans les 5 à 10 ans suivant la fin de leur internat. L’objet de ce symposium organisé par le Comité jeunes psychiatres est de proposer une réflexion sur les enjeux, les ambitions et les réalités de l’exercice actuel et futur de la psychiatrie libérale. Qu’en est-il des ambitions de la psychiatrie libérale ? Entre enjeux politiques et économiques, d’une part, et aspirations de la profession, d’autre part, quel dénominateur(s) commun(s) et quel terrain(s) d’entente possibles ? Autour d’une réflexion sociétale, économique et sociologique, nous reviendrons sur les principes fondateurs de notre système de financement des soins médicaux et sur la nature des réformes évoquées dont la question épineuse du tiers payant généralisé. À ce titre, la (très) contestée Loi de Santé 2015 adoptée en avril 2015 représente-t-elle un danger pour la pratique de la psychiatrie libérale ? Nous étudierons les conséquences de ces nouvelles dispositions législatives, ainsi que les résistances qui persistent six mois après le vote à l’Assemblée nationale. Une question est toujours en suspens : quel pouvoir de contestation reste-il aux psychiatres ? Enfin, nous confronterons ces enjeux et ambitions avec la réalité de la pratique. L’hebdomadaire what's up doc, le magazine des jeunes médecins, a notamment sorti un numéro spécial intitulé : « faut-il avoir peur de s’installer en libéral ? ». Various techniques for improving the resistance of plants to drought or salinity are discussed in relation to a notional spectrum ranging from rationality to random search. The rational end of the spectrum is exemplified by the control of phenology so that flowering occurs at an optimal time; the random end by wide crosses, such as that between wheat and Elytrigia, which give the remote hope that the high yield-potential of one will combine with the toughness of the other. Most of the techniques occupy the middle ground and involve selecting for characters whose protagonists have strong, but often poorly articulated, hunches that the characters will confer resistance to drought or salinity on the plants possessing them. For drought resistance of grain crops, the possible worth of many of these characters is discussed in relation to their likely impact on improving a crop's ability to (a) extract water from the soil, (b) produce dry matter given a limited water supply, and (c) convert dry matter into grain.

Tensors are generally tough to understand interpret and appreciate. This is mainly because it is the number of equations that each tensor that will be subdivided into. The overall concept is difficult to comprehend. There is an additional headache, when tensors subdividing into differential and integral equations. Differential equations will not give unique solutions. Whereas Dynamic Universe Model gives a unique solution of positions, velocities and accelerations for each point mass in the system for every instant of time as its tensors subdivide into linear set of equations. This new method of Dynamic Universe Model is different from earlier mathematical methods. This can be used for solving general N-body problem. This method solved many unsolved problems earlier like Galaxy Disk formations, Missing mass in Galaxies, Pioneer anomaly, Noncollapsing Large scale mass structures, New horizons trajectory predictions etc. Now attempts to solve new problems like- 1. This article examines the “state of the art” and the current debates on the subject of women entrepreneurs, presenting some preliminary observations and hypotheses regarding the role of business-women in Italian economic development. Reasons for the new historiographic interest in female entrepreneurship are identified, and the primary methodological difficulties encountered in its historical study—starting with establishing the definition and the statistical parameters of the woman entrepreneur and discussing her social and juridical “invisibility”—are summarized. Finally, suggestions are made about possible directions for research on key historical trends important in shaping female entrepreneurial abilities in the Italian context.

Curcumin, the dietary polyphenol isolated from Curcuma longa (turmeric), is commonly used as an herb and spice worldwide. Because of its bio-pharmacological effects curcumin is also called “spice of life”, in fact it is recognized that curcumin possesses important proprieties such as anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, antiproliferative, anti-tumoral, and anti-aging. Neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s Diseases, Parkinson’s Diseases, and Multiple Sclerosis are a group of diseases characterized by a progressive loss of brain structure and function due to neuronal death; at present there is no effective treatment to cure these diseases. The protective effect of curcumin against some neurodegenerative diseases has been proven by in vivo and in vitro studies. The current review highlights the latest findings on the neuroprotective effects of curcumin, its bioavailability, its mechanism of action and its possible application for the prevention or treatment of neurodegenerative disorders.

It has recently been shown that the α-adrenoceptors mediating vasoconstriction of porcine carotid arteriovenous anastomoses resemble both α1- and α2-adrenoceptors, but no attempt was made to identify the specific subtypes (α1A, α1B and α1D) involved. Therefore, the present study was designed to elucidate the specific subtype(s) of α1-adrenoceptors involved in the above response, using the α1-adrenoceptor agonist phenylephrine and α1-adrenoceptor antagonists 5-methylurapidil (α1A), L-765 314 (α1B) and BMY 7378 (α1D). Ten-minute intracarotid infusions of phenylephrine (1, 3 and 10 μgkg−1.min−1) induced a dose-dependent decrease in total carotid and arteriovenous anastomotic conductance, accompanied by a small tachycardia. These carotid vascular effects were abolished by L-765 314 (1000 μgkg−1; i.v.), while these responses were only attenuated by 5-methylurapidil (1000 μgkg−1; i.v.), and BMY 7378 (1000 μgkg−1; i.v.). Furthermore, intravenous bolus injections of phenylephrine (3 and 10 μgkg−1) produced a dose-dependent vasopressor response, which was only affected by 1000 μgkg−1 of 5-methylurapidil, while the other antagonists were ineffective. These results, coupled to the binding affinities of the above antagonists at the different α1-adrenoceptors, suggest that both α1A- and α1B-adrenoceptors mediate constriction of carotid arteriovenous anastomoses in anaesthetized pigs. In view of the less ubiquitous nature of α1B- compared to α1A-adrenoceptors, the development of potent and selective α1B-adrenoceptor agonists may prove to be important for the treatment of migraine.

Developing novel cancer therapies that exploit programmed cell death pathways holds promise for advancing cancer treatment. According to a recently published study in Science, copper death (cuproptosis) occurs when intracellular copper is overloaded, triggering aggregation of lipidated mitochondrial proteins and Fe–S cluster proteins. This intriguing phenomenon is triggered by the instability of copper ions. Understanding the molecular mechanisms behind cuproptosis and its associated genes, as identified by Tsvetkov, including ferredoxin 1, lipoic acid synthase, lipoyltransferase 1, dihydrolipid amide dehydrogenase, dihydrolipoamide transacetylase, pyruvate dehydrogenase α1, pyruvate dehydrogenase β, metallothionein, glutaminase, and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A, may open new avenues for cancer therapy. Here, we provide a new understanding of the role of copper death and related genes in cancer.

Dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV, CD26) is frequently dysregulated in cancer and plays an important role in regulating multiple bioactive peptides with the potential to influence cancer progression and the recruitment of immune cells. Therefore, it represents a potential contributing factor to cancer pathogenesis and an attractive therapeutic target. Specific DPP-IV inhibitors (gliptins) are currently used in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus to promote insulin secretion by prolonging the activity of the incretins glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP). Nevertheless, the modulation of the bioavailability and function of other DPP-IV substrates, including chemokines, raises the possibility that the use of these orally administered drugs with favorable side-effect profiles might be extended beyond the treatment of hyperglycemia. In this review, we critically examine the possible utilization of DPP-IV inhibition in cancer prevention and various aspects of cancer treatment and discuss the potential perils associated with the inhibition of DPP-IV in cancer. The current literature is summarized regarding the possible chemopreventive and cytotoxic effects of gliptins and their potential utility in modulating the anti-tumor immune response, enhancing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, preventing acute graft-versus-host disease, and alleviating the side-effects of conventional anti-tumor treatments.

Selon les résultats d'une enquête menée en 2017 auprès des gestionnaires de réseaux hydrométriques de France, Luxembourg, Suisse, Wallonie, 25 % de leur activité de jaugeages est effectuée avec un moulinet à axe horizontal. Cette technique de mesure étant encore vivace, les auteurs ont trouvé utile de constituer ici une synthèse bibliographique rappelant (i) la genèse de l'appareil, (ii) le choix différent fait par les nord américains d'une technologie à axe vertical, (iii) les principes de l'étalonnage des appareils et leur évolution (iv) l'historique des études des facteurs d'influence, (v) l'évolution des techniques de mise en œuvre de ces moulinets. En conclusion, sont présentées brièvement quelques raisons qui motivent le maintien de cet équipement dans la panoplie de savoir-faire attendus des gestionnaires de réseaux hydrométriques. Dans la mesure du possible, les auteurs ont cherché à mettre en perspective la pratique française avec celles d'autres pays. Ceci afin d'illustrer la richesse des apports de chacun et l'évolution de la pratique française en regard de celle du monde de l'hydrométrie.

El tránsito peatonal es un fenómeno de la sociedad moderna que, por una creciente tendencia hacia la mitigación en el impacto del congestionamiento vehicular, la contaminación y proponer una movilidad sostenible, se ha convertido en un importante foco de estudio para las ciudades. El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo analizar el tránsito peatonal dentro varias calles en la ciudad de Portoviejo, para identificar problemas y proponer posibles soluciones. Para su ejecución, se aplicó una investigación de campo basada en la observación y en la aplicación de un aforo peatonal apoyado de una encuesta dirigida a las personas que transitan por el área de estudio. Los resultados indicaron que el punto de congestión peatonal tuvo lugar en la Avenida América entre Calle Pedro Zambrano y Avenida Manabí, especialmente en horario matutino. Abstract Pedestrian traffic is a phenomenon of modern society that, due to a growing trend towards mitigating the impact of traffic congestion, pollution and proposing sustainable mobility, has become an important focus of study for cities. The objective of this work was to analyze the pedestrian traffic within several streets in the city of Portoviejo, to identify problems and propose possible solutions. For its execution, a field investigation was applied based on observation and the application of a pedestrian count supported by a survey directed at people who pass through the study area. Results indicated that the pedestrian congestion point occurred on Avenida América between Calle Pedro Zambrano and Avenida Manabí, especially in the morning. After seeking a “manageable standard” to apply to claims of partisan gerrymandering for over three decades, the Supreme Court has finally given up the chase, ruling that such claims are nonjusticiable. What is to be done? An extended history of successful congressional action suggests that the legislative pathway is more practical than often believed. Statutory requirements also make it possible to consider a broader suite of districting objectives. This paper presents a flexible new software and a framework for evaluating the practical implications of explicit objectives. I apply this approach to the conditions last required by Congress, generating equipopulous, contiguous, and compact districts. Among these conditions, the formal definition of compactness has proven contentious. Does it matter? I contrast the representation of the political parties and of racial and ethnic minorities under plans optimized according to 18 different definitions of compactness. On these grounds, the definitions are markedly consistent. These methods may be extended to alternative districting objectives and criteria.

Liver cancer remains a leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide despite numerous advances in treatment. While surgical resection remains the gold standard for curative treatment, it is only possible for a minority of patients. Thermal ablation is an effective option for the treatment of smaller tumors; however, its use is limited to tumors that are not located in proximity to sensitive structures due to the heat sink effect and the potential of thermal damage. Irreversible electroporation (IRE) is a non-thermal ablative modality that can deliver targeted treatment and the effective destruction of tumors that are in close proximity to or even surrounding vascular or biliary ducts with minimal damage to these structures. IRE produces short pulses of high-frequency energy which opens pores in the lipid bilayer of cells leading to apoptosis and cell death. IRE has been utilized clinically for over a decade in the treatment of liver cancers with multiple studies documenting an acceptable safety profile and high efficacy rates.

584 Background: Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is a rare cancer of the bile ducts but has been increasing in incidence. The mainstay of treatment of CCA is resection or chemoradiation for more advanced disease, with immunotherapy being an evolving field in treatment. A better understanding of CCA pathogenesis will pave new avenues for treatment. Methods: We employed our STARGEO platform to conduct a meta-analysis of public data from NCBI's Gene Expression Omnibus. We performed meta-analysis with 259 CCA tumor samples against 16 normal intrahepatic duct samples as a control. We then analyzed the signature in Ingenuity Pathway Analysis. Results: Our analysis revealed FXR/RXR and LXR/RXR activation as top canonical pathways. Top upstream regulators identified included HNF1A (with predicted inhibition) and ERBB2 (with predicted activation). The most upregulated genes included several extracellular matrix proteins implicated in cancer including COL1A1, LAMC2 (correlated with poor prognosis in CCA), KRT17 (a keratin implicated in various malignancies but not well described in CCA), and LAMB3 (exerts tumorigenesis through PI3k/Akt signaling). Additionally, we found stark upregulation of the immunophillin FKPBP1A, which is involved in mTOR activation. We also noted upregulation of ubiquitin-associated gene UBASH3B, which inhibits endocytosis in EGFR and has been described in breast cancer but not CCA. From our investigation of immune checkpoint inhibitors, we found upregulation of classically described inhibitors such as CTLA4, TIGIT, and BTLA. In addition, we found upregulation of SIGLEC7, which has been recently shown to suppress immune function by binding to terminal sialic acid on glycans on the surface of immune cells. Conclusions: Our analysis highlights the possible role of ERBB2 and several extracellular genes in the pathogenesis of CCA. We also identify the role of genes not previously described in CCA such as FKBP1A and UBASH3B. Lastly, our results promote the promise of immunotherapy in CCA treatment.

Mitochondrial optic neuropathies are a group of optic nerve atrophies exemplified by the two commonest conditions in this group, autosomal dominant optic atrophy (ADOA) and Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON). Their clinical features comprise reduced visual acuity, colour vision deficits, centro-caecal scotomas and optic disc pallor with thinning of the retinal nerve fibre layer. The primary aetiology is genetic, with underlying nuclear or mitochondrial gene mutations. The primary pathology is owing to retinal ganglion cell dysfunction and degeneration. There is currently only one approved treatment and no curative therapy is available. In this review we summarise the genetic and clinical features of ADOA and LHON and then examine what new avenues there may be for therapeutic intervention. The therapeutic strategies to manage LHON and ADOA can be split into four categories: prevention, compensation, replacement and repair. Prevention is technically an option by modifying risk factors such as smoking cessation, or by utilising pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, although this is unlikely to be applied in mitochondrial optic neuropathies due to the non-life threatening and variable nature of these conditions. Compensation involves pharmacological interventions that ameliorate the mitochondrial dysfunction at a cellular and tissue level. Replacement and repair are exciting new emerging areas. Clinical trials, both published and underway, in this area are likely to reveal future potential benefits, since new therapies are desperately needed. One group of conditions leading to optic nerve damage is caused by defects in genes that are essential for cells to make energy in small organelles called mitochondria. These conditions are known as mitochondrial optic neuropathies and two predominant examples are called autosomal dominant optic atrophy and Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy. Both conditions are caused by problems with the energy powerhouse of cells: mitochondria. The cells that are most vulnerable to this mitochondrial malfunction are called retinal ganglion cells, otherwise collectively known as the optic nerve, and they take the electrical impulse from the retina in the eye to the brain. The malfunction leads to death of some of the optic nerve cells, the degree of vision loss being linked to the number of those cells which are impacted in this way. Patients will lose visual acuity and colour vision and develop a central blind spot in their field of vision. There is currently no cure and very few treatment options. New treatments are desperately needed for patients affected by these devastating diseases. New treatments can potentially arise in four ways: prevention, compensation, replacement and repair of the defects. Here we explore how present and possible future treatments might provide hope for those suffering from these conditions.

Purpose How has upper echelons theory (UET) (Hambrick and Mason, 1984) been evolving over time? Through the historical discussion, this paper aims to provide an updated – and also innovative from some aspects – big picture on this famous approach to strategic management. In fact, after more than 30 years since its original conceptualization, the authors believe that the UE field is mature enough for a critical attempt to provide all those scholars and practitioners interested in strategic leadership with a comprehensive ground for future analyses, a ground which, to the authors’ knowledge, is still missing. Design/methodology/approach The authors mostly use a historical narrative to offer a critical account of the conceptual and methodological developments occurring under UE lenses over time. The authors believe that the historical approach can be particularly useful because it can help understand and explain why and how these developments have been conjectured and implemented. Findings Two mainly intertwined insights emerge from our analysis: on the one hand, the developments subsequent to the seminal 1984 UE model have gradually, although constantly, reduced its strongly voluntarist assumptions on strategic leadership toward more moderated co-evolutionary lenses; on the other hand, the emerging psychological and cognitive moderators of UE variables are presently reinforcing the centrality of dominant coalitions, in that they affect their decision-making processes and strategic choices. Originality/value From the critical discussion, a possible updated UE model based on co-evolutionary lenses finally emerges. Prospective research avenues in this management field are also provided.
