Résumé :

The main selective forces affecting the fruiting strategies are related to the environment in which plants occur. As a savanna, microclimatic conditions should not vary in relation to distance from edge in cerrado sensu stricto fragments. Thus, we postulated that the importance of different dispersal syndromes would not vary towards the fragment core. Our aim was to test in four cerrado sensu stricto fragments in central Brazil whether the absolute density of anemo-, auto-, and zoochorous individuals varied in relation to edge distance. According to results, the absolute density of anemo-and autochorous individuals did not vary, whereas those of zoochorous individuals increased with edge distance, pointing out that there were other factors rather than abiotic conditions shifting zoochorous species to the interior of cerrado sensu stricto fragments.

Résumé :

A natural vegetation area, with 1269 ha, composed mainly by cerrado, located at Santa Rita do Passa Quatro Municipality, São Paulo State, southeastern Brazil (21°36-39'S, 47°36-38'W), was studied. From September 1995 to February 1997, a floristic survey was carried out, when all vascular plant species at reproductive stage were collected. The flowering and fruiting patterns of the community were studied, comparing the herbaceous and the woody species. In the herbaceous component, 239 species were found and, in the woody one, 108 species. The woody species flowered mainly at the beginning of the rainy season, while the herbaceous ones produced flowers generally at the end of that season. The proportion of anemo and autochorous species was greater in the herbaceous component. The zoochorous ones, on the contrary, were more frequent in the woody component. At the dry season, when their dispersion is more efficient, the proportion of anemo and autochorous species producing fruits was higher. During the rainy season, when their fruits become attractive for longer time, the zoochorous species fruited more intensely.

Se han descrito caracteres taxonómicos no documentados para Spermacoce hispida L. y Spermacoce articularis L. S. hispida es bimórfica. Las flores son débilmente protándrica, nectaríferas y auto-polinizadoras. Las mariposas, las abejas y los trips son importantes como polinizadores. El conjunto de fruta natural más elevado que se evidencia en estas especies se atribuye a autopolinización y entomofilia. Los frutos la dehiscencia es septicida en S. hispida y S. articularis, y circunscisa en Spermacoce pusilla Wall. La dispersión de las semillas es anemo-, baro-, ombro- e hidrocórica. Estas especies ocupan diferentes hábitats para evitar la competencia por los polinizadores y maximizar la producción de semillas y ampliar su rango de distribución. Undocumented taxonomic characters have been described for Spermacoce hispida L. and Spermacoce articularis L. S. hispida is bimorphic. The flowers are weakly protandrous, nectariferous and self-pollinating. Butterflies, bees and thrips are important as pollinators. The highest natural fruit set evidenced in these species is attributed to auto-selfing and entomophily. Fruits dehisce septicidally in S. hispida and S. articularis and circumscissile mode in Spermacoce pusilla Wall. Seed dispersal is anemo-, baro-, ombro- and hydro-chorous. These species occupy different habitats to avoid competition for pollinators and maximize seed output and expand their distribution range.

Résumé :

The cerrado, a savanna-like formation, is the second-most widespread vegetation type in Brazil. Its core region occupies the Brazilian Central Plateau, with a seasonal climate, including wet summer and dry winter. We studied the reproductive phenological patterns of the cerrado plant community in Emas National Park (central Brazil). Monthly field trips revealed 601 species, classified, according to their dispersal syndromes, into anemo-, auto-, or zoochorous species, when they were dispersed by wind, explosion or gravity, or animals, respectively. We analysed the flowering and fruiting patterns of the community in relation to dispersal syndromes, comparing the herbaceous and the woody components. The herbaceous component was characterised by a majority of autochorous species, and the woody component, by a majority of zoochorous species. There was a striking seasonality in the community-wide pattern of flowering and fruiting, although this was different between the herbaceous and the woody components. Woody species flowered mainly during late dry and early wet seasons, whereas herbaceous species flowered especially during late wet season. In the dry season, when their diaspores can be dispersed more efficiently, the proportions of anemo- and autochorous fruiting species were higher. During the rainy season, when their fruits can be kept attractive for longer time, the number of fruiting zoochorous species reached its peak.

Background and aims – This study describes the dispersal traits of 302 species in five Afro-Arabian habitats from the hyper-arid hot desert of United Arabian Emirates (UAE).Methods – Diaspore size (diaspora length) was studied in relation to growth forms, dispersal modes, presence of structures for long distance dispersal, APG IV groups, phytogeography and dispersal phenology using ANOVA and Pearson χ2 test-statistical analyses.Results – Small diaspores were predominant (six orders of magnitude from 10-4 to 102). The major diaspores were found in Fabids phylogenetic APG IV group (1.80±0.41 cm) mainly trees and the minor in Commelinids (0.30±0.08 cm). The most dominant dispersal mode was semachory (43.7% of the total and 67.5% of the herbaceous species), followed by anemo-meteochory (28.8%) and barochory (23.8%). Semachores/barochores (67.5%) formed the largest groups from the Fabaceae, Poaceae, Boraginaceae, Brassicaceae and Amaranthaceae families. Savanna trees such as Acacia, Prosopis, Ziziphus sp. and Indigofera sp. produced large diaspores secondarily dispersed by vertebrates. Anemo-meteochoric species with small diaspores were predominantly semi-shrubs such as Haloxylon sp. Graminoids such as Stipa sp. and Stipagrostis sp., without structures for long-distance dispersal had diaspore appendages acted as “active drills” in soil cracks. Dryness (dry season) favours the efficient dispersion by the wind for the small shrub species with haired capsule (e.g. Aerva javanica), winged calyx (e.g. Astragalus squarrosus) or wings (e.g. Tribulus qatarensis). Most of the species studied (64.2%) dispersed in the dry season according to what was found in other arid region from the world. The longer dispersal phenology corresponded to Saharo-Arabian and Sudano-Decanian species which is related to the floristic richness of the study area. Species dispersal throughout the year indicates an important seed resource e.g. barochoric species with fleshy fruits or pods with nutrient structures (e.g. Senna italica and Indigofera sp.).Conclusions – In the hyper-arid hot desert of UAE, the dispersal spectra are close to those recorded in other arid environments but with particularities due to the presence of African floristic elements.

Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL) dianggap menimbulkan kesemrawutan Kota Surakarta karena membuat kumuh dan menimbulkan kemacetan. Demi menjaga keindahan kota, para PKL menjadi sasaran relokasi Pemerintah Kota Surakarta. Kondisi tersebut menimbulkan permasalahan baru bagi PKL lantaran kehilangan pelanggan serta rendahnya anemo pengunjung karena sebagian besar masyarakat belum mengetahui keberadaan lapak baru pasca relokasi. Solusi yang dapat ditempuh dari permasalahan tersebut adalah melalui pelatihan inovasi pemasaran dan strategi promosi bagi PKL, meliputi: (1) pelatihan dan pendampingan memfokuskan pada strategi inovasi pemasaran, meliputi: kemitraan dengan marketplace/e-commerce produk kuliner, (2) perancangan alternatif program promosi sesuai dengan target pasar, dan promosi di sosial media, dan (3) pelatihan strategi promosi melalui perancangan desain identitas visual yang diaplikasikan pada berbagai media, seperti: booth / gerobak, kemasan produk, desain label produk, seragam dan media promosi online. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan pendekatan partisipatif kolaboratif. Luaran jangka panjang yang diharapkan dari pengabdian ini adalah perluasan jaringan pemasaran, peningkatakan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan PKL melalui inovasi pemasaran dan promosi.

Résumé :

Background. Monocot plants in the flora of Ukraine embrace about 1000 species. The members of this group have various fruit types and ways of dissemination. In this review, the results of the evolutionary-morphological analysis of fruits in monocot plants of the flora of Ukraine and their structural adaptations to dispersal are presented. Gynoecium structure and morphogenetic fruit types in monocots. The features of the inner gynoecium structure and the relation between gynoecium and fruit structure were analyzed, and the main problems of fruit classification were detected. It was revealed that apocarpous fruits are often polymerous or oligomerous, composed of 3–6 one-seeded fruitlets. The species with inferior ovary often develop capsular fruits. One-seeded fruits represent the most reduced variant of the gynoecium structure and fruit wall anatomy, providing few structural traits for analysis. Ecological and functional features of fruits in monocots. The characteristics of dehiscent and indehiscent fruits, as well as adaptations to various ways of dispersal: myrmeco-, endozoo-, epizoo-, anemo-, hydro- and autochory are presented. Dehiscent fruits (follicle and capsule) reveal ventral, dorsal or double, dorsoventral dehiscence. One-seeded fruits and fruitlets are often adapted to hydrochory or anemochory. Trends of evolutionary changes of fruits in monocots. The most diverse fruits are found in low-species taxa of early monocots. Within the monocots, we can observe certain evolutionary trends: incomplete carpel fusion, the occurrence of superior one-seeded fruits and inferior many-seeded fruits. Each of these trends may be evoked by adaptations for pollination in gynoecium at the flowering stage. Conclusions. The present evolutionary morphological and ecological studies of fruits in monocot plants of the flora of Ukraine are impeded by controversial structural types of the gynoecium in some species and a scarcity of data on ways of dispersal of fruits and seeds. The precise carpological and carpoecological investigations of the monocots are desirable for many plants of the flora of Ukraine.

Résumé :

Anemon laut adalah kerabat dekat dari karang. Binatang ini merupakan salah satu biota laut yang digemari oleh kalangan pecinta akuarium hias air laut. Bentuk tubuhnya menyerupai bunga karang dengan warna yang indah pada tubuhnya. Anemon laut ini merupakan hewan lunak yang tergolong dalam hewan invertebrata (hewan tak bertulang belakang). Ikan badut dan anemon laut biasa hidup dengan cara bersimbiosis, adapun simbiosis yang dilakukan adalah simbiosis mutualisme (saling menguntungkan). Namun, pada usaha budidaya ikan badut, banyak digunakan Anemon yang merupakan karang hidup. Penggunaan Anemon secara berlebih menyebabkan jumlah Anemon di ekosistem terumbu karang menjadi berkurang dan terancam menuju kepunahan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa vitalitas Amphiprion oscellaris yang hidup dilingkungan akuarium buatan dengan kondisi lingkungan perairan yang ideal tidak dipengaruhi oleh simbiosis dengan Heteractis magnefica. Pemeliharaan ikan Amphiprion oscellaris di akurium tidak membutuhkan anemon laut untuk bertahan hidup, sehingga penggunaan anemon laut dapat diminimalisir dan mengganti dengan anemon buatan sebagai hiasan akuaskap.

DISTRIBUSI SPASIAL ANEMON DAN IKAN ANEMON DI PERAIRAN KELURAHAN MALALAYANG 2 MANADO1 Aldi Pengan, Ari B Rondonuwu, Alex D Kambey ABSTRACT This study was conducted in front of coastal villages Malalayang 2. Performed data acquisition at the date of September 16 and October 6, 2011. Located at 1o27'42.2" N and 124o47'30.9" E. The results obtained identified seven types of anemones from 35 individuals and six types of anemones from 130 individual fish at depths of 0-15 meters. At a depth of cluster anemones, the depth of the A (0-5 meter) 6 of the 13 individuals, the depth of B (5-10 meters) 4 of the 9 individuals, and the depth of C (10-15 meters) 5 of the 13 individuals. While in the cluster anemones fish depth, the depth of the A (0-5 meters) 4 of the 50 individuals, the depth of B (5-10 meters) 4 of the 32 individuals, and the depth of C (10-15 meter) 6 of the 48 individual. In each type of anemones fish most of anemones occupies more than one type. Keywords : anemones, anemones fish, depth ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan di depan perairan pantai Kelurahan Malalayang 2. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada tanggal 16 september dan 6 oktober 2011. Terletak pada 1o27‘42.2“ LU dan 124o47’30.9” BT. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 7 jenis anemon yang teridentifikasi dari 35 individu dan 6 jenis ikan anemon dari 130 individu pada kedalaman 0-15 meter. Pada kelompok kedalaman anemon, kelompok kedalaman A (0-5 meter) 6 jenis dari 13 individu, kedalaman B (5-10 meter) 4 jenis dari 9 individu, dan kedalaman C (10-15 meter) 5 jenis dari 13 individu. Sedangkan pada kelompok kedalaman Ikan anemon, kelompok kedalaman A (0-5 meter) 4 jenis dari 50 individu, kedalaman B (5-10 meter) 4 jenis dari 32 individu, dan kedalaman C (10-15 meter) 6 jenis dari 48 individu. Anemon merupakan salah satu hewan laut dari filum Cnidaria atau Coelenterata yang sering dimanfaatkan sebagai penghias akuarium dan sumber makanan bagi masyarakat pesisir Wakatobi. Berdasarkan literature, anemon telah berhasil di identifikasi sebanyak 12 jenis tersebar di seluruh dunia, 10 jenis diantaranya terdapat di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keanekaragaman dan kelimpahan anemon pada daerah terumbu karang di perairan Desa Kasuari, Wakatobi. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan selama 2 bulan yaitu Februari – Maret 2020. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode belt transect yaitu dengan luas 200m² dengan 3 kali ulangan untuk mewakili area reef flat dan reef slope. Jenis anemon yang ditemukan di perairan Desa Kaswari yaitu Heteractis crispa dan Heteractis malu. Kelimpahan anemon di perairan Desa Kaswari pada stasiun Reef Flat adalah 0,045 individu/m² sedangkan pada stasiun Reef Slope adalah 0,065 individu/m². Hasil Uji-T diperoleh nilai t-hitung (-2.000) ≤ t-tabel (2.776). Artinya bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara nilai rata-rata individu anemon pada daerah reef flat dan reef slope meskipun berada pada zona terumbu karang yang berbeda.Kata Kunci: Kelimpahan anemon, Terumbu karang, Kaswari.

ANIMO is a Cytoscape 3 app to model biological signalling pathways. Useful analyses can be performed and displayed to the user in an effective way. However, all this power comes at a cost: the additional software requirements for ANIMO have been hindering its widespread adoption. Our goal has been to provide beginner to intermediate ANIMO users with a simpler and more effective platform to perform their research: webANIMO. The minimalistic interface provides everything the regular ANIMO user needs for the most common tasks. Adding the fact that it is a web interface removes any software requirements from the equation. This article describes how webANIMO works: its client/server architecture, how Cytoscape and ANIMO compatibility was maintained, the visualization techniques implemented and other general design decisions.

The purpose of the study is to identify (1) availability of fiction book collection at the library of SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping (2) animo of visits to the library of SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping (3) effects of availability of fiction book collection to animo of visits to the library of SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping (4) the degree of effects of the availability of fiction book collection to animo of visits to the library of SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping. Data were obtained through questionnaire, observation, interview, and documentation. The independent variable is availability of fiction book collection and the dependent variable is animo of visits. Analysis used product moment correlation and simple linear regression. Sampling used accidental technique involving 71 respondents. Data were processed using SPSS 22 for Windows. The result of the study showed there was effect of availability of fiction book collection to animo of visits (tcalculation was 0.644 and ttable 0.227). Thus the hypothesis that there was positive and significat effect of the availability of fiction book collection to animo of visits to the library of SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping was accepted. The degree of effect was obtained through squaring t table with the score 0.415 which indicated that animo of visits was affected by availability of fiction book collection as much as 41.5% and the rest (58.5%) was affected by other factors.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the antioxidant test of various utensils from pottery, aluminum and stainless steel against the antioxidants of loloh drinks produced by the village of Pejeng Kelod Tampak Siring, Gianyar, Bali. Loloh using water that is boiled first, then poured on the main ingredients and then packed. The tools used to cook loloh are inconsistent, while the public's ano if cooking loloh using pottery seems better. The research used the GC MS method, IC50 and antioxidant capacity after heating the loloh with various utensils. The results showed that there were 15 compound components, and there were significant differences in the use of pottery, aluminum and stainless steel cooking tools. Further tests of the Smallest Significant Difference (LSD) show that cooking turmeric loloh and using pottery shows the highest antioxidant capacity (623.91 μg GAEAC / g material), compared to the antioxidant capacity of aluminum (353.2 μg GAEAC / g material) , stainless steel (559.1 μg GAEAC / g material), and untreated (control) (631.1 μg GAEAC / g material). Inversely proportional to IC50 turmeric loloh control (2208.7 ppm), earthenware (3426.09 ppm), stainless steel (4792.46 ppm), aluminum (6122.40 ppm). The paiduh antioxidants were significantly different from heating with aluminum (7122.40 ppm), stainless steel (4426.09 ppm), and pottery (3208.7 ppm). The higher the antioxidant capacity of loloh paiduh, namely aluminum (423.2 GAEAC / g material), stainless steel (649.1 GAEAC / g material), pottery (723.91 GAEAC / g material) Keywords: antioksidant, loloh turmeric, pejeng kelod, pottery, utensil ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui antioksidan uji berbagai utensil dari bahan gerabah, aluminium dan stainless steel terhadap antioksidan minuman loloh produksi desa Pejeng Kelod Tampak Siring Gianyar Bali. Loloh menggunakan air yang dimasak terlebih dahulu, kemudian dituangkan pada bahan utama dan selanjutnya dikemas. Alat yang dipergunakan memasak loloh tidak konsisten sedangkan anemo masyarakat jika memasak loloh dengan menggunakan gerabah terkesan lebih baik. Penelitian menggunakan metode GC MS, IC50 dan kapasitas antioksidan setelah pemanasan loloh dengan berbagai utensil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 15 komponen senyawa, da nada perbedaan yang signifikan dari penggunaan alat memasak gerabah, aluminium dan stainless steel. Uji lanjut Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) diketahui bahwa memasak loloh kunyit dan paiduh dengan menggunakan gerabah, menujukan angka kapasitas antioksidan tertinggi (623,91 μg GAEAC/g bahan), dibandingkan dengan kapasitas antioksidan aluminium (353,2 μg GAEAC/g bahan), stainless steel (559,1 μg GAEAC/g bahan ), dan tanpa perlakuan (kontrol) (631,1 μg GAEAC/g bahan). Berbanding terbalik dengan IC50 loloh kunyit kontrol (2208,7 ppm), gerabah (3426,09 ppm), stainless steel (4792,46 ppm), aluminium (6122,40 ppm). Antioksidan loloh paiduh berbeda nyata secara signifikan terhadap pemanasan dengan aluminium (7122,40 ppm), stainless steel (4426,09 ppm), gerabah (3208,7 ppm). The aim ofthis research are (1) to know the influence of Rembang Public Library transfer to Kartini Beach tourism area toward animo of visits to the libratyt (2) to know user perception about Rembang Public Library transfer to Kartini Beach tourism area (3) to know animo of visits to Rembang Public Library. This was a quantitative research that used correlation method between location (independent variable) and animo of visits (dependent variable). Data were collected through questionnaire, interview and documentation. Data analysis used product moment correlation and processed using SPSS version 17 for Windows. The result of the study showed there was significant correlation between location and animo of visits. Score of correlation was 0.632 at significance level 5% r table is 0.202. The Rembang public library transfer to Kartini Beach tourism area belonged to good category whereby grand mean of location variable was 2.86. Animo of visits also belonged to high category whereby grand mean was 3.01.
