Résumé :

ABSTRAK Analisis SWOT merupakan salah satu strategi pemasaran yang sering diterapkan dalam perusahaan. Analisis SWOT menjadi bagian penting dalam menentukan strategi pemasaran yang efektif dan sangat dibutuhkan agar tercapainya penjualan produk yang menguntungkan. Analisis SWOT dapat dilihat dari kegunaan analisis SWOT, manfaat analisis SWOT, faktor-faktor analisis SWOT, product life cycle (PLC), penerapan analisis SWOT dan marketing mix. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah unutk mengetahu hasil analisa SWOT sebagai penentu strategi Pemasaran produk “meat” di PT Dua Putra Perkasa. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah jenis data yaitu data primer dan data sekunder, data primer yang diambil dari wawancara sedangkan data sekunder adalah data yang diperoleh tidak langsung dari subjek penelitian itu sendiri. Teknik analasis yang dibunakan untuk mengolah data penelitian adalah kualitatif kualitataif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian analisis SWOT memiliki kegunaan sebagai alat mengukur besarmya potensi yang dimiliki perusahaan dan produk yang akan dijual serta untuk mengetahui sejauh mana perusahaan melihat lingkungan sekitar. Analisis SWOT mampu memberikan arahan untuk mempertahankan kekuatan, meminimalisir kelemahan dan menambah keuntungan dengan menambah peluang usaha yang tersedia. SWOT analysis is an important part in determining an effective marketing strategy and is very much needed in order to achieve profitable product sales. SWOT analysis can be seen from the usefulness of SWOT analysis, benefits of SWOT analysis, SWOT analysis factors, product life cycle (PLC), application of SWOT analysis and marketing mix. The purpose of this study is to find out the results of the SWOT analysis as a determinant of the marketing strategy of "meat" products at PT Dua Putra Perkasa. The type of data used in the study is the type of data, namely primary data and secondary data, primary data taken from interviews while secondary data is data obtained indirectly from the research subject itself. The analytical technique used to process research data is descriptive qualitative. The results of the SWOT analysis are useful as a tool to measure the potential of the company and the products to be sold and to find out how far the company sees the surrounding environment. SWOT analysis is able to provide direction to maintain strengths, minimize weaknesses and increase profits by increasing available business opportunities. Résumé :

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang dilakukan duta ponsel x-tra Bengkulu dalam meningkatkan volume penjualan handphone Vivo melalui analisis Swot. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah owner dan karyawan Duta Ponsel X-Tra Bengkulu yang tepatnya berada di Jl. Kalimantan (Rawamakmur).Â Metode penarikan sampel mengunakan teknikÂ Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif yang mengacu pada konsep 4P (Produk, Price, Promotion, Place) selanjutnya digunakan analisis SWOT yaitu dengan mengamati kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman. Teknik Analisis Data Matriks EFE MATRIKS IFE Matriks IE. Â Perhitungan matrik EFAS sebesar -0,95 dan matrik IFAS sebesar +2,06 yang kemudian digambarkan dalam analisis SWOT, maka dapat diketahui konter Duta Ponsel X-tra Kota Bengkulu berada pada kuadran II. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa perusahaan ini kuat namun menghadapi tantangan yang besar sehingga memerlukan strategi dengan cara diversifikasi strategi. maka peneliti membatasi dan membahas mengenai strategi peningkatan volume penjualan handphonee Vivo melalui analisi Swot pada konter Duta Ponsel X-tra Kota Bengkulu.Â Kata kunci : Strategi, Analisis IFAS dan EFAS, Analisis SWOT

Résumé :

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui hasil analisa proyek sistem informasi berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) Vehicle Security dengan menggunakan teknik analisa SWOT dan uji kelayakan TELOS. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data diantaranya studi pustaka yang meliputi referensi buku dan pencarian data secara daring, serta studi lapangan yang meliputi observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa hasil Analisa SWOT dinilai positif meskipun terdapat beberapa hal yang perlu dibenahi untuk kedepannya. Sedangkan dari hasil uji kelayakan TELOS didapati hasil penilaian 8,34 atau jika dibulatkan menjadi 8 yang berarti proyek sistem informasi tersebut sangat layak untuk terus dikembangkan.

Museum Balaputra Dewa merupakan salah satu Museum negeri yang ada di provinsi Sumatra selatan yang di kelompokan ke dalam 5 (lima) pameran besar dan menyimpan berbagai macam koleksi. Adapun yang menjadi Identifikasi masalah kurangnya sarana dalam mempromosikan Museum, kurangnya pemeliharaan dan pengawasan Museum, kurangnya minat masyarakat mengenal sejarah masa lampau, kurangnya penyediaan Cinderamata diMuseum. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana strategi Museum Balaputra Dewa dapat dikembangkan agar lebih maksimal dan hambatan-hambatan apa saja yang dihadapi. Data yang dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknis analis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Tahapan perumusan strategi diawali dengan analisis internal dan eksternal tahapan selanjutnya adalah tahapan analisis Matriks SWOT. Hasil analisa maka strategi pengembangan Museum negeri Balaputra Dewa masuk ke dalam langkah ketiga Matriks SWOT. Alternatif strategi yang digunakan adalah strategi yang meminimalkan kelemahaan (weaknesses) untuk memanfaatkan peluang (Opportunities) itu harus dimanfaatkan untuk meminimalkan kelemahan yang dimiliki serta digunakan untuk mengurangi ancaman eksternal.Strategi tersebut menjadi jawaban penelitian untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terdapat di Museum Balaputra Dewa sehingga pengembangan di Museum dapat diterapkan dengan optimal.

Résumé :

AbstractThe objective of this research is to formulate strategy of improving food safety base on implementation Good manufacturing Practices (GMPâ€™s). This paper presents a Swot analysis regarding the implementation of GMPâ€™s on smallmedium enterprises bakery in Bogor. SWOT is an expert choice justification model which is used to engineer the structural analysis model by taking several elements of the strategic environmental factors. SWOT analysis for the strategic environmental factors has identified the significant aspect of the supporting elements, constraints and, the groups of the alternative strategy. Interpretative Structural Modelling (ISM) is used to find out the principal sub-elements of each strategy and stakeholders elements have been analysed to enrich the formulate strategy. Complete analysis of this research has built alternative formulation strategy for region superiority improving food safety base on implementation GMPâ€™s, with considering respective limitation.Â Abstrakproduk bakeri pada industry kecil menengah melalui penerapan praktekpengolahan terbaik (GMP). Metoda yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa SWOT. Analisa SWOT merupakan salah satu alat analisis kualitatif yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi peluang dan ancaman dalam melakukan kegiatan dengan mengacu pada kekuatan dan kelemahan yang dimiliki stakeholders industri kecil menengah produk bakeri di kota Bogor. Penggunaan teknik Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) pada analisis SWOT untuk melihat hubungan kontekstual antar elemen dan hirarki untuk elemen penyusun strategi. Hasil analisis dari ke dua model (analisis SWOT dan ISM) dalam penelitian ini adalah strategi terbaik dengan keterbatasan ahli dalam rangka peningkatan mutu keamanan produk bakeri berdasarkan GMP.Â

PT XYZ adalah perusahan yang bergerak dalam bidang manufaktur ,dengan produk-produk antara lain sofa, matras, cushian, dan upholstery bed. Pelanggan produk perusanaan ini terdiri dari pelangan lokal dan ekspor, di antaranya inoac living, mijirushi, ichiba, ikea, conforama,the home merchant (ekspor) dan lain-lain.Permasalahan yang terjadi pada perusahaan ini adalah bagaimana sterategi pemasaran yang harus diterapkan agar perusahaan dapat menghadapi persaingan dengan bertambahnyan jumlah competitor yang menghasilkan produk-produk sejenis.Â Dan juga melihat dari penjual produk terjadi penurunanÂ akibat adanya persaingan tersebuat. Dalam menentukan posisi perusahaan yang tepat didasarakan pada hasil perhitungan Â faktor strategi internal dan eksternal dan akan di uraikan pada matrikd ini berdasarkan internal dan ekstrnalÂ matriks dengan nilai skor IFAS = 2,6 dan EFAS = 2,9.Â Dalam matriks internal dan eksternal (IE) nilai tersebut berarati perusahaan yang berada posisi integritas horizontal , dimana produk mengalami pertumbuhan tetapi tidak memiliki keuntungan laba yang besar. Perusahaan harus melakukan perubahan untuk mencapai pertumbuhan baik dalam penjualan, asset, profit, atau kombinasi dari ketiganya. Hal ini diciptakan dengan kompetitif harga, mengembangkan produk baru, perluasan jaringan pemasaran, menambah kualitas pelayanan terhadap pelanggan atau konsumen baru serta meningkatkan akses pasar yang lebih luas. Dari perhitungan matriks SPACE PTÂ XYZ berada pada starategi konservatif, Â starategi konservatif paling sering disebuat penetrasi pasar, pengembangan pasar, pengembangan produk dan diversifikasi konsentrik. Biaya perbaikan untuk pemasaran adalah Rp. 632.060.000 sedangkan forecast margin tahun 2009 adalah Rp.6.015.120.000. maka biaya perbaikan untuk pemasaran tercover oleh total margin tahun 2009. Sehingga strategi dapat layak diimplementasikan dalam rangka menikatkan penjualan dan meningkatkan daya saing.Agar perusahan dapat berkembang dan mengalahkan pesaing maka perusahaan harus terus menikatkan kreativitas jenis produk, menekan biaya produksi, melakukan promosi secara online marketing dan mengkuti penyelenggaraan pemeran agar konsumen dapat mengetahui produk XYZ, peningkatan penjualan baik dengan kerjasama dengan para distributor yang memiliki showroon di tempat strategis dan juga penjualan langsung kepada konsumen dengan mereka sendiri.Â Kata Kunci :Startegi Pemasaran, Analisis SWOT

The background of this research is that every educational institution must be able to make the right strategy and be able to make a plan to compete in the present and in the future. The National Institute of Islamic Religion Laa Roiba Bogor is an educational institution engaged in education. the implementation of the strategy chosen by the leadership, which is an alternative strategy, can create four main strategies, namely the SO strategy (Strength and Opportunities), WO strategy (Weakness and Opportunities), ST strategy (Strength and Threats) and WT strategy (Weakness and Threats). ). This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, this type of research is a case study. Data was collected by means of interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. The analytical technique used is interactive technical analysis following the concept of Miles and Huberman. The results of the SWOT analysis research can be used as maps or maps because after each form of factor is determined, the policies that will be taken as a form of priority scale in future improvements have been determined, so that what IAI-N Laa Roiba does and can carry out with full commitment, responsibility and discipline so that the realization of quality, integrated educational institutions, and can produce students who become human resources who excel in academics, have good morals and are able to be competitive in society in realizing the Tridarma of higher education. Résumé :

Pelatihan tentang Analisis SWOT dalam Pengembangan koperasi ini bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi, pengetahuan, ketrampilan dan kemampuan Pengurus, Ketua Unit Usaha, dan ketua KUBE BMT Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri di Desa Muliasari Kecamatan Tanjung Lago Kabupaten Banyuasin, dalam manajemen dan pengembangan usaha koperasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan presentasi materi, tanya jawab dan diskusi kelompok (FGD) tentang strategi pengembangan usaha dengan analisis SWOT. Materi pelatihan meliputi : Analisis SWOT, manajemen koperasi, pengelolaan usaha koperasi, nilai-nilai manajemen koperasi, dan strategi pengembangan usaha. Peserta pelatihan sebanyak 20 orang, terdiri atas Pengurus dan Ketua Unit Usaha Koperasi KSU BMT Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan melakukan pre tes dan post tes tentang materi, dan penilaian terhadap hasil Diskusi Kelompok “perumusan strategi pengembangan usaha koperasi dengan analisis SWOT. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa 77 persen peserta menyatakan terdapat banyak peningkatan pengetahuan, sedangkan 23 persen menyatakan cukup peningkatan pengetahuan, motivasi, ketrampilan dan kemampuan dalam manajemen dan strategi pengembangan usaha koperasi. Peserta merespon baik terhadap materi yang disampaikan, terutama materi tentang strategi pengembangan usaha melalui Analisis SWO. Hasil diskusi kelompok, strategi yang dirumuskan untuk pengembangan usaha koperasi adalah : Strategi SO (memperluas pasar, memperluas usaha); Strategi WO (pembinaan dan pengkaderan, ,mengajukan KUR); strategi ST (mengikuti pelatihan, memanfaatkan peluang dikala pandemi, mencari tambahan dana); Strategi WT (meningkatkan promosi). Peserta antusias menambah pengetahuannya tentang menentukan prioritas strategi yang bisa dilakukan melalui pengembangan usaha kelompok dan mengusulkan diadakan pelatihan lanjutan tentang Analisis SWOT dan materi lain terkait perkoperasian. Résumé :

Strategi pengembangan usaha merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang sering dihadapi usaha mikro dalam pengembangan sayap usaha. Dalam penelitian ini memiliki permasalahan yang menjadi faktor pengaruh strategi pengembangan UMKM Inni Dawet Cincau, permasalah itu sendiri adalah Bagaimana strategi pengembangan yang sesuai melalui analisi SWOT (kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman) yang dimiliki oleh UMKM “Inni Dawet Cincau”. Teknik analisis SWOT digunaka untuk mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal, faktor internal yang meliputi kekuatan dan kelemahan suatu usaha, sedangkan faktor eksternal meliputi peluang dan ancaman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi strategi yang telah dijalankan UMKM Inni Dawet Cincau. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pemilik UMKM Inni Dawet Cincau Ibu Rila, karyawan dan reseller Inni Dawet Cincau. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian yang diproleh, bahwa strategi produk usaha Inni Dawet Cincau berdasarkan analisis matrik EI berada pada sel IV yaitu tahap hati-hati dengan strategi stabilitas. Sedangkan hasil diagram cartesius berada pada kuadran I yaitu memiliki kekuatan dan peluang besar. Alternatif strategi produk sesuai matriks SWOT yaitu strategi SO.

Résumé :

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan analisis strategi pemasaran (SWOT) dapat meningkatkan penjualan pada Toserba Dana Berkah. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 10 juni 2020 yang bertempat di Toserba Dana Berkah. Analisis SWOT adalah suatu rencana dan taktik yang sistematis dan terstruktur yang harus dipikirkan secara matang dan terperinci yang dapat berkembang dari waktu ke waktu sebagai pola dari arus keputusan yang bermakna dengan mengejar pasar sasaran khususnya bagi Toserba Dana Berkah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif berupa perhitungan analisis yang berhubungan dengan SWOT serta didukung oleh konsep analisis SWOT yang berupa matrik EFAS, matrik IFAS, matrik Grand Strategy dan matrik SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah perhitungan IFAS dan EFAS yang berada di posisi kuadran I, ini menunjukkan situasi yang sangat menguntungkan. Toserba Dana Berkah Ngusikan Jombang memiliki peluang dan kekuatan sehingga dapat memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang ada pada hasil dan pembahasan mengemukakan hipotesa bahwa penerapan analisa SWOT mempengaruhi penjualan pada Toserba Dana Berkah dikarenakan konsep kekuatan dan peluang yang dimiliki lebih unggul dibandingkan swalayan lainnya yang berada di Ngusikan Jombang sehingga dapat menekan kelemahan dan ancaman yang di hadapi oleh Toserba Dana Berkah.

Questa rassegna rappresenta un primo passo avanti nella comprensione della pratica didattica fondata sull’evidenza empirica. Il secondo saggio introduce un nuovo modo di analizzare le università utilizzando la tecnica di analisi SWOC. Per essere più precisi, l'analisi SWOC viene applicata per la prima volta ad una università greca. I risultati mostrano che alcune debolezze metodologiche e pragmatiche dell’ateneo possono essere superate (ad esempio, budget e tempo di elaborazione, vincoli di spazio, lingua del corso in greco), mentre altri limiti sistematici emersi non possono essere superati senza una riforma istituzionale (ad esempio, l'ingresso di pratiche commerciali nell'istruzione superiore) implementata a livello centrale. Allo stesso modo, alcune sfide possono essere risolte (p. es., limitazioni delle infrastrutture), mentre altre non possono o possono essere risolte solo parzialmente, ma c’è bisogno di tempo, riforme istituzionali di tutto il sistema universitario e creazione di una cultura all’interno della società (p. es., necessità di fondi esterni e maggiore autonomia, auto-finanziamento). Il terzo saggio si propone di comprendere le determinanti dell’efficacia dell’insegnante in una università greca, confermando la validità di una scala di 21 item in greco intitolata TAGGED. Mira anche alla creazione di una scala più breve (8 elementi) che possa essere utilizzata da qualsiasi università greca per valutare la qualità dell’insegnamento. I risultati rivelano che TAGGED è uno strumento a costituito da tre dimensioni: stile di insegnamento, difficoltà del corso e coinvolgimento degli studenti. Essendo la prima ricerca accademica che indaga la possibilità di utilizzare un questionario più breve presso le università greche per misurare l'efficacia degli insegnanti attraverso la soddisfazione espressa dagli studenti, questo studio può aiutare i ricercatori a condurre indagini accurate utilizzando la scala breve in una qualsiasi università greca. Il quarto saggio, esplorando il concetto di vulnerabilità, presenta alcuni risultati preliminari riguardanti lo stile di insegnamento preferito dagli studenti vulnerabili di un istituto di istruzione superiore greco. Il saggio individua la vulnerabilità come quadro teorico generativo, e lo utilizza, pur con la limitatezza dei dati a disposizione, per esplorare le vite degli studenti a rischio di vulnerabilità nell’università. I risultati rivelano che, sebbene molti degli studenti intervistati si trovino ad affrontare un qualche tipo di vulnerabilità, la metà di essi non si auto-definisce “vulnerabili”, probabilmente per non essere associati ad etichette e quindi per non essere discriminati o stigmatizzati. L’analisi inoltre analizza la percezione dell’efficacia dell’insegnamento da parte di questi studenti vulnerabili, mostrando come una valutazione negativa dell’efficacia di insegnamento emerga solo per gli studenti che si autodefiniscono vulnerabili, e per gli studenti che chiedono all’ateneo consulenza per la loro carriera. È troppo presto per trarre conclusioni, se non la necessità di ulteriori indagini e la necessità di un ulteriore impegno da parte dell’università per sviluppare opportuni servizi di sostegno agli studenti.
This dissertation consists of four separate essays on sociology of education. The first essay, through a scoping review, aims to enhance understanding and further conceptualise teacher effectiveness in higher education from both practical and research-driven perspectives. This review represents an initial step forward in understanding evidence-based practice in the classroom. The second essay introduces a new way of analysing universities by exploring the use of the SWOC analysis technique. To be more specific, the application of the SWOC analysis is carried out in the Greek Higher Education Institution. Results report that certain methodological and pragmatic weaknesses can be overcome (e.g., budget and process time, space constraints, course language in Greek), while other basic systematic limitations cannot without institutional reform (e.g., entrance of business practices into higher education). Similarly, certain challenges can be solved (e.g., limitations of infrastructure), while others cannot or can only be partially resolved, but there is a need for time, institutional and framework reforms and society preparation (e.g., necessity for external funds and increased self‐funding). The third essay sets out to understand the determinants of teacher effectiveness at a Greek Higher Education Institution by confirming the validity of a 21-item instrument entitled TAGGED, based on an exploration of its dimensionality among undergraduate students. It also aims to assess the perceived teaching quality offered at a Greek university by proposing a shorter (8-item) scale that is extremely accurate in measuring teacher effectiveness. Results reveal that TAGGED is a three-factor instrument consisting of the three dimensions: teaching style, course difficulty, and student engagement. As the first academic research that investigates the possibility of assessing a shorter questionnaire at Greek universities related to teacher effectiveness and thus student satisfaction, this study can help researchers conduct confident investigations using the adapted and validated teaching quality instrument within the Greek higher education system. The fourth essay, exploring the concept of vulnerability, presents some preliminary results concerning the teaching style that vulnerable students at a Greek Higher Education Institution prefer. The essay has gone some way, in the limited context of the data, to make a strong case for locating vulnerability as a generative theoretical framework for exploring the lives of students at risk in Higher Education. Results reveal that although many students are facing some kind of vulnerability, they do not want to be self-defined as vulnerable in order not to be associated with labels and thus not to be discriminated or stigmatized. The analysis further identifies a lack of information to support vulnerable students in making choices about their futures, principally in relation to gaining information about pursuing Higher Education. Further investigation suggests that there must be a commitment on the part of Higher Education Institution to develop student support services and personal development planning must be embedded.

Lo scopo della tesi è analizzare gli aspetti principali del progetto People Mover di Bologna, toccando gli aspetti costruttivi, ambientali e trasportistici, esaminando lo studio della domanda di trasporto e svolgendo infine un analisi swot dei punti di forza o debolezza. Il People Mover di Bologna è un sistema innovativo di trasporto pubblico che collegherà in 7 minuti la stazione ferroviaria all’aeroporto Marconi, effettuando una sola fermata intermedia presso il Lazzaretto, un’area destinata ad ospitare un nuovo insediamento abitativo nonché nuovi spazi per l’Università di Bologna. Il People Mover è un sistema di trasporto pubblico che offre: certezza sui tempi di percorrenza, mobilità silenziosa, zero emissioni (trazione elettrica), sicurezza di esercizio, costi ridotti rispetto ad una metropolitana. Dopo aver valutato in sede di analisi swot, i pro e contro di tale opera è giusto fare un confronto tra il People Mover e il Servizio Ferroviario Metropolitano. In passato il confronto fra i sostenitori del People mover e del Sistema ferroviario metropolitano è stato in parte ideologico, in parte politico e solo limitatamente tecnico. La tesi analizza le differenze tecniche dei due sistemi di trasporto. Voler far convivere sulla stessa infrastruttura due utenze molto diverse (quella aeroportuale e quella pendolare) è difficile e porterebbe alla non soddisfazione di entrambe. Se l’utenza aeroportuale chiede rapidità e spazio per i bagagli, i pendolari chiedono maggiori posti a sedere e maggiore intensità del servizio. In conclusione lo scopo di questa tesi non è porre dei dubbi sul progetto dell’opera stessa, peraltro già in fase di cantierizzazione, ma fornire un analisi più completa sul progetto.

The aim of this thesis is to provide a SWOT analysis of the Via Foundation through which is detected potential opportunities and threats for the organization and its current strengths and weaknesses. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts, theoretical knowledge and the process itself concerning the creation of a SWOT analysis. The described methods are then used in the practical part on the example of the Via Foundation. To identify potential opportunities and threats from the external environment is used PEST analysis supported by time series analysis. For discovering potential of the organization in terms of strengths and weaknesses is used the evaluation of selected parameters of the organization as compared to the analogous organizations. In conclusion, the thesis summarizes important information obtained by this analysis and there are proposed recommendations for the organization.

The aim of this work is to make SWOT analysis of social services in municipality Železný Brod, point out deficiencies in this area, possibilities for improvement or danger of future evolution. Conception of social services has wider sense in this work. Services, which nearly communicate with social services, are included as well. Because of demographic analysis of the region, which is taken over from Medium-term plan of development of social services in The Liberec Region, SWOT analysis has three main target groups of inhabitants -- seniors, unemployment people and families with children at the pre-school age. There is used information from providers of social services as well as from inhabitants of municipality through interviews. The aim of this work is not only aggregate SWOT analysis. Outcome is also to find out, which area of social services could private sector (profit or non-profit) operate in.

In the current conjuncture, the environmental factor has been changing the position of companies that are practicing or minimally adopting environmental management. Such tool has been used by companies to face the problems caused by solid waste, in particular green coconut waste, which is constantly among the material discarded by society (companies/ consumer). It is a typical tropical fruit whose fresh water is very benefic for human health, and its popularization has caused a progressive increase of its consumption. Following this stream of thought, this present work came up with an analysis of strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities SWOT analysis on green coconut solid waste management at two agribusiness companies in the state of Rio Grande do Norte (RN), Brazil, aiming to know the challenges and the potentials of this kind of waste. According to the approach of the problem, this work fits a descriptive, exploratory, and qualitative research. The data collection was obtained by a questionnaire and a structured interview, in order to evaluate the strategic posture of agribusiness companies through SWOT analysis, which is an English acronym for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. The SWOT analysis is an effective tool to analyze the internal and external environment of an organization. This tool contributes to locate the company at the environment in question and when well applied it enables the detection of mistakes, the strengthening of correct procedures, the avoidance of threats, and the bet on opportunities. The studied agribusiness industries have very similar profiles, such as a long business life span, and a strategy that extends the useful life of the fruit, by using its waste for the manufacturing of new subproducts. In both, the daily quantity of waste resulted of this process reaches approximately 20 thousand units of the fruit in high season, being necessary a focus directed at use and/or treatment of these waste. Further to SWOT analysis, it was ascertained that the agribusiness company A works through a defensive marketing strategy and acts vulnerably, in other words, unable of acting before this market segment, for it has decided to stop using the waste due to a lack of equipment and technology. On the other hand, the agribusiness company B has incorporated an offensive marketing strategy because even not possessing equipments, technology, and appropriated internal installations, it still insists on use and benefits of green coconut waste in its agribusiness. Thus, it is considered that the potential of green coconut waste management for the production of several subproducts reduces the impacts produced by inappropriate placement and generates profits in a short, medium and long term. Such profits being tangible and intangible, as the interest for sustainability actions is not only a matter of obtaining return on capital, but it is an important question in order to move on into business, since it is not enough to have quality on products and process nowadays. It is necessary to establish socio-environmental practices aiming the image of the company as the prevailing role on consumers buying decision
A causa ambiental, na atual conjectura, est? alterando o posicionamento das empresas que est?o praticando ou minimamente adotando a gest?o ambiental. Tal ferramenta est? sendo utilizada nas empresas para enfrentar a problem?tica causada pelos res?duos s?lidos, dentre eles os res?duos do coco verde, presente constantemente no material descartado pela sociedade (empresas/consumidor). ? uma fruta tipicamente tropical, cuja ?gua fresca traz muitos benef?cios ? sa?de humana e sua populariza??o desencadeou um aumento progressivo do seu consumo. Seguindo esse racioc?nio, o presente trabalho prop?s analisar os pontos fortes, fracos, amea?as e oportunidades an?lise de SWOT - no gerenciamento dos res?duos s?lidos do coco verde em duas agroind?strias situadas no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte RN (Brasil), com intuito de conhecer os desafios e potencialidades do aproveitamento desses res?duos. Do ponto de vista da abordagem do problema, este trabalho se enquadra como uma pesquisa qualitativa, explorat?ria e descritiva. A coleta de dados foi realizada com a aplica??o de um question?rio e entrevista estruturada sendo avaliada a postura estrat?gica das agroind?strias atrav?s da an?lise SWOT, que ? uma sigla oriunda do idioma ingl?s, ? um acr?nimo de For?as (Strengths), Fraquezas (Weaknesses), Oportunidades (Opportunities) e Amea?as (Threats). A an?lise SWOT ? uma ferramenta eficaz para analisar o ambiente interno e externo de uma organiza??o. Essa ferramenta contribui para situar a empresa no ambiente em quest?o e quando bem aplicada ? poss?vel detectar erros, fortalecer acertos, driblar as amea?as e apostar nas oportunidades. As agroind?strias estudadas possuem perfis bastante similares como: tempo de vida no mercado e por seguir uma linha de estrat?gia que prolonga a vida ?til do fruto com aproveitamento de seus res?duos para fabrica??o de novos subprodutos. Em ambas, a quantidade di?ria de res?duos gerados alcan?a aproximadamente 20 mil unidades do fruto em alta esta??o, tornando necess?rio um enfoque direcionado ao aproveitamento e/ou tratamento desses res?duos. Em rela??o ? an?lise de SWOT, constatou-se que a agroind?stria A opera com capacidade defensiva atuando assim com vulnerabilidade, ou seja, impossibilitada de atuar diante desse segmento de mercado, por ter decidido parar de aproveitar os res?duos por falta de equipamentos e tecnologias adequadas. Em contrapartida a agroind?stria B est? utilizando a estrat?gia de capacidade ofensiva de mercado, pois, mesmo n?o possuindo equipamentos, tecnologias e instala??es internas apropriadas, ainda assim, persistem no aproveitamento e beneficiamento dos res?duos do coco verde em sua agroind?stria. Assim, considera-se que o potencial do gerenciamento dos res?duos do coco verde para a produ??o de uma diversidade de subprodutos reduz os impactos produzidos pela disposi??o inadequada e geram lucro em curto, m?dio e longo prazo. Lucros esses tang?veis e intang?veis, j? que o interesse por a??es de sustentabilidade n?o ? s? uma quest?o de obten??o de retorno financeiro, mas ? quest?o fundamental para manter-se no neg?cio, posto que hoje em dia n?o basta possuir qualidade nos produtos e processos. ? preciso estabelecer pr?ticas socioambientais, tendo em vista a imagem da empresa como papel preponderante na decis?o de compra dos consumidores

Aktualna globalna pozicija Bosne i Hercegovine potvrđuje nalaz prethodnih istraživanja da u našoj državi ne postoji jedinstven ili barem harmonizovan i efikasan inovacioni sistem, primjeren potrebama razvoja društva i ekonomije znanja. Prvi koraci u utvrđivanju razloga ovakvog stanja su SWOT analize položaja i uloge inovacionog sistema u okviru opšteg strateškog planiranja i sektorskog planiranja istraživanja i transfera tehnologije. Najvažniji rezultati dobiveni iz tih matrica su diskutovani u radu. Oni su potom uspoređeni sa rezultatima naših najnovijih istraživanja. Prvi rezultat je sažeta SWOT matrica inovacionog sistema. Rezultate razrade pojedinih faktora smo prikazali u detaljnoj SWOT matrici zasnovanoj na elementima snage. I ova matrica je pokazala da je ujednačeno i stabilizirano visoko obrazovanje najvažniji element snage inovacionog sistema. Zbog toga su obilježja univerziteta kao subjekta inovacionog sistema posebno razmotrena.

Résumé :

For several decades the nuclear industry has used structural weld overlays (SWOL) to repair and mitigate cracking within pressurized water reactor (PWR) components such as nozzles, pipes and elbows. There are two known primary mechanisms that have led to cracking within PWR components. One source of cracking has been primary water stress corrosion cracking (PWSCC). Numerous SWOL repairs and mitigations were installed in the early 2000s to address PWSCC in components such as pressurizer nozzles. However, nearly all of the likely candidate components for SWOL repairs have now been addressed in the industry. The other cause for cracking has been by fatigue, which usually results from thermal cycling events such as leakage caused by a faulty valve close to the component. The PWR components of most concern for fatigue cracking are mainly stainless steel. Thus, ASME Section XI Code Case N-504-4 would be a likely basis for SWOL repairs of these components, although this Code Case was originally drafted to address stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in boiling water reactors (BWR). N-504-4 includes the requirements for the SWOL design and subsequent analyses to establish the design life for the overlay based on predicted crack growth after the repair. This paper presents analysis work performed using Code Case N-504-4 to establish the design life of a SWOL repair applied to a boron injection tank (BIT) line nozzle attached to the cold leg of an operating PWR. The overlay was applied to the nozzle to address flaws found within the stainless steel base metal during inservice examination. Analyses were performed to calculate the residual stresses resulting from the original fabrication and the subsequent SWOL repair. In addition, post-SWOL operating stresses were calculated to demonstrate that the overlay does not invalidate the ASME Section III design basis for the nozzle and attached pipe. The operating and residual stresses were also used for input to a fatigue crack growth (FCG) analysis in order to establish the design life of the overlay. Lastly, the weld shrinkage from the application of overlay was evaluated for potential impact on the attached piping, restraints and valves within the BIT line. The combined analyses of the installed SWOL provide a basis for continued operation for the remaining life of the plant.
