Résumé :

AbstractFractures cause physiological disturbances, one of which is pain. Pain in fracture patients is caused by muscle spasms. Cold compression is the easiest method to reduce pain. This study identifies cold compresses’ effect in reducing closed fracture patients by finding research articles from Google Scholar. Keywords for the search include “closed fracture”, “pain intensity”, and “cold compress”, published in 2011-2020. Three articles were analyzed. The results showed that 57 total respondents were male (68.09%) and female (31.91%). Before the intervention was 6.72, pain intensity dropped to 3.50 after the intervention with a p-value <0.01. This Literature Review concludes that cold compress therapy is effective in reducing pain among closed fracture patients. Nurses are expected to apply cold compress therapy as an intervention to reduce pain in fracture patients.Keywords: cold compress; pain intensity; closed fracture; AbstrakFraktur merupakan ancaman potensial maupun aktual terhadap integritas seseorang, sehingga akan mengalami gangguan fisiologis salah satunya respon berupa nyeri. Nyeri pada pasien fraktur disebabkan karena spasme otot. Upaya menurunkan nyeri pada pasien fraktur tertutup dengan cara memberikan terapi kompres dingin. Tujuan dari penulisan ini untuk menggambarkan pengaruh pemberian kompres dingin terhadap nyeri pasien fraktur tertutup. Desain karya tulis ini berupa Literature Review dengan jumlah tiga artikel yang diambil dari laman google scholar dengan kata kunci “fraktur tertutup”, “intensitas nyeri”, dan “kompres dingin”, terbit tahun 2011-2020. Hasil analisa karakteristik responden dari ketiga artikel menunjukkan jumlah responden 57 pasien, sebagian besar laki-laki (68,09%) sedangkan perempuan (31,91%). Nilai rata-rata nyeri sebelum intervensi 6,72 setelah intervensi 3,50 dengan p-value 0,000. Simpulan dari Literature Review ini adalah terapi kompres dingin efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat nyeri pasien fraktur tertutup. Saran bagi perawat diharapkan dapat menerapkan terapi kompres dingin sebagai salah satu intervensi untuk menurunkan nyeri pasien fraktur.Kata kunci:kompres dingin; intensitas nyeri; fraktur tertutup;

Résumé :

Disposisi matematis adalah salah satu aspek afektif yang perlu diperhatikan dalam proses perkuliahan, sebab disposisi matematis juga dapat menunjang keberhasilan belajar dalam mengikuti perkuliahan. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mendeskripsikan disposisi matematis mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika pada mata kuliah Kalkulus 1 di Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Penelitian melibatkan mahasiswa pendidikan matematika yang berjumlah 47 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket, yang didampingi dengan observasi partisipatif. Disposisi matematis dilihat dari 6 indikator yaitu: (1) Percaya diri; (2) Kegigihan dan Ketekunan; (3) Fleksibel; (4) Minat dan Keingintahuan; (5) Refleksi; (6) Apresiasi. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata disposisi matematis mahasiswa sebesar 69,57% yakni dengan kategori sedang. Persentase jumlah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika dengan tingkat disposisi matematis yang tinggi, sedang dan rendah berturut-turut adalah 14,89%, 68,09% dan 17,02%.Mathematical disposition is an affective aspect that needs to be developed and improved during lectures because mathematical disposition can support learning success in attending lectures. This study aims to describe the mathematical disposition of Mathematics Education students in the Calculus 1 course at the State University of Gorontalo. The subjects of this study were students of mathematics education, amounting to 47 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire, which is accompanied by participatory observation. To measure the mathematical disposition of mathematics education students in the calculus 1 course, it can be seen from 6 indicators, which are: (1) Confidence; (2) Persistence and Perseverance; (3) Flexible; (4) Interests and Curiosities; (5) Reflection; (6) Appreciation. Data were analyzed quantitatively in the form of percentages. The results showed that in general the average mathematical disposition of students was 69.57%, namely in the medium category. The percentages of students in the mathematics education study program who have high, medium, and low levels of mathematical disposition are 14.89%, 68.09%, and 17.02%, respectively.

We assessed the effect of prostaglandin (PG) E2 on tone of guinea pig tracheal smooth muscle (TSM) strips in vitro. In the presence of spontaneous tone [ST; i.e., no indomethacin (-Indo)], exogenous PGE2 caused a significant relaxation of ST at concentrations > 10(-6) M [to -127 +/- 40.8% electric field stimulation (EFS); P = 0.001 vs. baseline ST] and at concentrations < 10(-6) M caused a variable change in contractile force (51.6 +/- 29.6% EFS; P = NS vs. baseline ST). In the absence of ST (i.e., +Indo) 10(-10) to 10(-7) M PGE2 elicited contraction of TSM to 126.3 +/- 10.5% EFS (P = 0.001 vs. baseline) and no relaxation. Addition of prostanoid EP1 receptor antagonist (either AH-6809 or SC-19220) to Indo-treated TSM caused a substantial rightward shift and attenuation of contraction in response to PGE2 (55.9 +/- 16.8% EFS for 10(-5) MAH-6809; P = 0.007 vs. +Indo alone, and 80.5 +/- 12.7% EFS for 10(-5) M SC-19220, P = 0.03 vs. +Indo alone). We further assessed the effect of EP1 and EP4 receptor antagonism on the ST of guinea pig TSM strips. Concentration-response curves to the EP1 receptor-specific antagonists AH-6809 or SC-19220 and the EP4 receptor-specific antagonist AH-23848B were generated (10(-7) to 10(-5) M); AH-6809 caused relaxation of ST to 11.4 +/- 2.9% ST (P = 0.001 vs. initial ST) and SC-19220 caused relaxation to 31.0 +/- 12.7% ST (P = 0.02 vs. initial ST). However, AH-23848B did not significantly affect ST (to 60.9 +/- 7.7% ST; P = 0.07 vs. initial ST). Furthermore, AH-6809 specifically inhibited contraction elicited by the EP1 receptor agonist Iloprost but had no effect on contraction elicited by the EP3 receptor agonist Enprostil. We demonstrate that in the presence of ST (-Indo), exogenous PGE2 elicits a biphasic response in guinea pig TSM in which relaxation predominates. In the absence of ST (+Indo), exogenous PGE2 elicits contraction of guinea pig TSM strips that is inhibited by EP1 receptor-specific antagonism. Spontaneous tone of guinea pig TSM strips also is inhibited by EP1 receptor antagonism. Our data suggest that both PGE2-elicited contraction and ST of guinea pig TSM are mediated through activation of EP1 prostanoid receptors.

Recent studies have suggested that prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) subtype receptors (EP) are involved in cellular proliferation and tumor development. We studied the role of EP1 and EP4PGE2 subtype receptor antagonists AH-6809 and AH-23848B, respectively, in serum-induced 3T6 fibroblast proliferation. This was significantly reduced in a dose-dependent manner (IC50∼100 and ∼30 μM, respectively) to an almost complete inhibition, without any cytotoxic effect. However, the effect of each antagonist on 3T6 cell cycle progression clearly differed. Whereas the EP1 antagonist increased the G0/G1population, the EP4 antagonist brought about an accumulation of cells in early S phase. These effects were associated with a decrease in cyclin D and E levels in AH-6809-treated 3T6 cells and lower cyclin A levels in AH-23848B-treated fibroblasts with respect to control cells. The G0/G1 accumulation caused by AH-6809 seems to be intracellular Ca2+ concentration ([Ca2+]i) dependent, because a 6-h 1 μM thapsigargin treatment allowed G0/G1-arrested cells to enter S phase. Similarly, treatment with 20 μM forskolin for 6 h allowed S-phase and G2/M progression of AH-23848B-treated cells. This study shows that the inhibitory effect of the EP1 and EP4 antagonists on serum-induced 3T6 fibroblast growth is due to their effect at various levels of the cell cycle machinery, suggesting that PGE2 interaction with its different subtype receptors regulates progression through the cell cycle by modulating cAMP and [Ca2+]i.

For decades, star counts and HR diagrams extending below the main sequence turnoff in globular clusters meant the work of Sandage (1957). The advent of large CCD's at the foci of large telescopes has changed this (McClure et al. 1985, Harris & Hesser 1985, Christian & Heasley 1986, Heasley et al. 1986, Penny & Dickens 1986, Richer & Fahlman 1986, Smith et al. 1986) and made clear that clusters differ in the shapes of their luminosity functions and in the morphology of their HR diagrams. We return here to photographic methods, which can capture an order of magnitude more images and so possibly reveal new details.

"One of the most challenging categories of threats circulating into the online world is social engineering, with malicious web links, fake news, clickbait, and other tactics. Malware URLs are extremely dangerous because they represent the main propagating vector for web malware. Malicious web links detection is a challenging task because the detection mechanism should not influence the consumers’ online experience. The proposed solutions must be sensitive enough, and fast enough to perform the detection mechanism before the user accesses the link and downloads its content. Our paper proposes three goals. The main purpose of this paper is to refine a methodology for malicious web links detection that may be used to experiment with machine learning algorithms. Moreover, we propose to use this methodology for training and comparing several machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest, Decision Tree, K-Nearest Neighbor. The results are compared, justified, and placed in the malicious web links literature. Este artículo trata de dilucidar el proyecto deleuzeano de la inversión del platonismo en relación con el de Nietzsche. Para ello, hemos realizado un bosquejo predominantemente historiográfico de la cuestión en ambos autores. En el caso de Nietzsche, nos interesamos tanto por la relación que la inversión del platonismo presenta en su filosofía con el problema del nihilismo como por la evolución que el tema experimenta a lo largo de su vasta producción intelectual, hasta llegar a su formulación definitiva. A propósito de Deleuze, ofrecimos un amplio recorrido en su obra orientado a rastrear la cuestión, desde su interpretación de la formulación nietzscheana, contrapuesta a la de Heidegger, hasta el meticuloso encaje de la misma en su propia filosofía como un desplazamiento de la esencia a favor del acontecimiento como fuente de singularidades.

Waktu henti antibiotik merupakan salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap residu antibiotik. Residu obat dalam unggas dan produk unggas menjadi perhatian karena membahayakan kesehatan masyarakat seperti berupa reaksi alergi dan hipersensitivitas, gangguan reproduksi, karsinogenisitas, nefropati, gangguan flora normal usus dan resistansi antibiotik. Peternak broiler yang memperhatikan waktu henti antibiotik baru sekitar separuhnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi waktu henti antibiotik pada broiler. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional study. Sampel penelitian diambil sebanyak 103 Rumah Tangga Peternak (RTP) dengan kriteria sampel adalah peternak yang menggunakan antibiotik dalam proses pemeliharaan broilernya. Data diambil menggunakan kuesioner dengan cara wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi dan uji t dengan taraf signifikan (α) sebesar 5 %. Hasil penelitian menemukan faktor yang berkorelasi secara signifikan terhadap waktu henti antibiotik adalah umur peternak dengan kekuatan korelasi lemah dan cukup, Lama bekerja dengan kekuatan korelasi yang cukup, dan jumlah kepemilikan broiler dengan kekuatan korelasi yang cukup. Waktu henti antibiotik secara rerata berbeda nyata berdasarkan pada faktor pengambil keputusan dan penggunaan kombinasi antibiotik. Pengambil keputusan yang dilakukan oleh peternak dan yang tidak menggunakan kombinasi antibiotik waktu henti antibiotiknya lebih panjang.

The 1963 earthquake in Skopje, North Macedonia, prompted an international response culminating in the Town Planning Project financed by the UN Special Fund, which resulted in a new master plan for the city. An international competition for the reconstruction of the Skopje city center was launched as part of the project. The Kenzo Tange entry, which won three-fifths of the first prize, became a representation of the new Skopje. It relied on an autofabulation approach, using elements like ‘city gate’ and ‘city wall’ as important parts of the concept. One of the major features was the City Wall housing development which encircled the central business district (CBD). This paper examines the initial proposal and the phases it passed through to become a new development plan for the center. In this process, Tange played a significant role, defining major planning aspects of the complex, which was later completed according to projects by local architects. The City Wall supported housing as permanent activity in the center and introduced a housing complex of towers and blocks, which became a prominent feature of the Skopje skyline. Although it had to be adapted to the existing conditions and some of the original ideas had to be abandoned, the City Wall complex stood the test of time. Unfortunately, especially since the late 1980s and throughout the 1990s, a number of interventions and alterations have compromised its appearance and some of the basic ideas. The paper argues that the City Wall complex should be proclaimed a cultural heritage, and immediate action should be taken to prevent irreparable damage and to preserve the City Wall as an important and recognizable image of Skopje’s townscape.

Resulting from the provisions of art. 1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure establishes that the criminal process aims to protect the person, society and the state from crimes, as well as to protect the person and the society from the illegal acts of persons in positions of responsibility in their activity related to the investigation of alleged or committed crimes, so that any person who has committed a crime shall be punished according to his guilt, and no innocent person to be held criminally liable and convicted. At the same time, the criminal procedural legislation, in the case of the perpetrator’s collaboration with the criminal investigation body, provides for the mechanism of releasing them from criminal liability, thus manifesting its policy in order to encourage guilty persons prone to follow the path of correction, by showing their attitude towards the crime committed and the prevention of harmful consequences intended to affect the legal order. This state position should be clear and proportional to the contribution brought by each individual perpetrator, being attractive to facilitate and improve the act of justice.

Résumé :

The study examines gender issues in the works of Ukrainian writers on the border of the 19th and 20th centuries, whose main heroes and heroines are representatives of art. In the dramaturgical works of this time, due to the departure from the social issues, the problems of gender equality and the possibility of choosing their life path by women actresses are intensified. This topic today remains an almost unexplored in scientific works, which determines the relevance and scientific novelty of our article. The purpose of the study is to consider the processes of modernization of Ukrainian literature in the context of gender and feminist issues, as well as to analyze the peculiarities of writers’ interpretation of images of artists in prose and drama using general scientific approaches and comparative typological method. The research results allows to state that such writers as O. Konisky and H. Khotkevych seek to reveal the peculiarities of the worldview of their characters. At the same time, the attitude of the heroes towards the female gender is traditional, the chosen ones of the musicians – main literary personages – should be female associates who fully support the lofty thoughts and deeds of their husbands. Actors and actresses in the plays by M. Starytsky and I. Karpenko-Kary raise the most difficult issues of family life, fidelity and betrayal of wives and husbands in marriage, life in a civil marriage and others that continue to be relevant in our time. L. Starytska Cherniakhivska, Lesia Ukrainka and O. Kobylianska, going beyond gender issues in the direction of feminist views, transfer the emphasis in their plays and short prose to the tragedy of a talented woman who devoted herself to art. Thus, Ukrainian writers of the studied period considered in sufficient detail the problem of gender relations in their modern society, in particular, the issue of family betrayal in its interpretation by representatives of the opposite sexes, and built a kind of hierarchy of relations between women and men.

ABSTRACT We study the outer regions of the Milky Way globular cluster NGC 6809 based on Dark Energy Camera observations, which reach nearly 6 mag below the cluster main-sequence (MS) turn-off. In order to unveil its fainter outermost structure, we built stellar density maps using cluster MS stars, once the contamination of field stars was removed from the cluster colour–magnitude diagram. We found that only the resulting stellar density map for the lightest stars exhibits some excesses of stars at opposite sides from the cluster centre that diminish soon thereafter at ∼ 0.32°.Studied globular clusters with apogalactic distances smaller than that of NGC 6809 (5.5 kpc) do not have observed tidal tails. The lack of detection of tidal tails in the studied inner globular cluster sample could be due to the reduced diffusion time of tidal tails by the kinematically chaotic nature of the orbits of these globular clusters, thus shortening the time interval during which the tidal tails can be detected. Further investigations with an enlarged cluster sample are needed to confirm whether chaotic and non-chaotic orbits are responsible for the existence of globular clusters with tidal tails and those with extra-tidal features that are different from tidal tails or without any signatures of extended stellar density profiles.

Aims. We investigate the Na abundance distribution of asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars in Galactic globular clusters (GCs) and its possible dependence on GC global properties, especially age and metallicity. Methods. We analyze high-resolution spectra of a large sample of AGB and red giant branch (RGB) stars in the Galactic GCs NGC 104, NGC 6121, and NGC 6809 obtained with FLAMES/GIRAFFE at ESO/VLT, and determine their Na abundances. This is the first time that the AGB stars in NGC 6809 are targeted. Moreover, to investigate the dependence of AGB Na abundance dispersion on GC parameters, we compare the AGB [Na/H] distributions of a total of nine GCs, with five determined by ourselves with homogeneous method and four from literature, covering a wide range of GC parameters. Results. NGC 104 and NGC 6809 have comparable AGB and RGB Na abundance distributions revealed by the K−S test, while NGC 6121 shows a lack of very Na-rich AGB stars. By analyzing all nine GCs, we find that the Na abundances and multiple populations of AGB stars form complex picture. In some GCs, AGB stars have similar Na abundances and/or second-population fractions as their RGB counterparts, while some GCs do not have Na-rich second-population AGB stars, and various cases exist between the two extremes. In addition, the fitted relations between fractions of the AGB second population and GC global parameters show that the AGB second-population fraction slightly anticorrelates with GC central concentration, while no robust dependency can be confirmed with other GC parameters. Conclusions. Current data roughly support the prediction of the fast-rotating massive star (FRMS) scenario. However, considering the weak observational and theoretical trends where scatter and exceptions exist, the fraction of second-population AGB stars can be affected by more than one or two factors, and may even be a result of stochasticity.

This study aimed to assess whether NHT cooperative learning model to improve learning outcomes of students geography. Implementation of the actions performed by 2 cycles, each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. Analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that: there is an increase in learning outcomes for implementing cooperative learning model NHT during the execution of the learning cycle I and xycle II. The everage value of the learning outcomes before deploying cooperative learning model NHT increased 68,09 after applied cooperative learning model NHT, in the first cycle is obtained mean values obtained by an average of 76,26. It can be concluded that through the application of learning models on the subjects geography of NHT can improve student learning outcomes geography class X2 SMAN 2 Watansoppeng.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar geografi siswa. Pelaksanaan tindakan yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi dan refleksi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: ada peningkatan hasil belajar selama menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran siklus I dan siklus II. Nilai rerata hasil belajar siswa yang sebelum diterapakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT 68,09 meningkat sesudah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT, pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rerata 69,74 dan Pada siklus II diperoleh nilai rerata sebesar 76,26.Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran NHT pada mata pelajaran geografi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas X2 SMA Negeri 2 Watansoppeng.

The performance of four X-ray qualities generated in a Pantak X-ray machine operating at 30-100 kV was determined with a parallel-plate ionization chamber and a Fricke dosimeter. X-ray qualities used were those recommended by Deutsch Internationale Normung DIN 6809 and dose measurements were carried out with Plexiglas® simulators. Results have shown that the Fricke dosimeter can be used not only for soft X-ray dosimetry, but also for the maintenance of low-energy measuring systems' calibration factor.

The mechanisms underlying the oncogenesis and progression of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) are currently unclear. The discovery of competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) regulatory networks has provided a new direction for the treatment and prognosis of patients with LUAD. However, the mechanism of action of ceRNA in LUAD remains elusive. In the present study, differentially expressed mRNAs, microRNAs (miRs) and long non-coding RNAs from the cancer genome atlas database were screened. CeRNAs for LUAD were then identified using online prediction software. Among the ceRNAs identified, family with sequence similarity 83 member A (FAM83A), miR-34c-5p, KCNQ1OT1 and FLJ26245 were observed to be significantly associated with the overall survival of patients with LUAD. Of note, FAM83A has potential significance in drug resistance, and may present a candidate biomarker for the prognosis and treatment of patients with LUAD.
