Résumé :

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Dana Bagi Hasil terhadap Penerimaan Dana Perimbangan Kabupaten Nabire selama 2008-2012 dan Untuk mengetahui Faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi Dana Bagi Hasil di Kabupaten Nabire. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisa data kuantitatif agar dapat menyelesaikan masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Nilai koefisien korelasi (r) yang diperoleh adalah 0,240 atau 24,,20 persen. Dengan demiokian hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara Dana Bagi Hasil terhadap Dana Perimbangan Kabupaten Nabire, walaupun kecil hasilnya, Sedangkan Nilai determinan (r²) yang di peroleh sebesar 0,058 atau 05,80 persen. Dan hasil ini menunjukan bahwa Dana perimbangan yang diterima dari Dana Bagi Hasil sebesar 05,80 persen. Sedangkan sisanya 94,2 persen diperoleh dari pos-pos lain yang turut meningkatkan Penerimahan Dana perimbangan Kabupaten Nabire; Penerimaan Dana Bagi Hasil Kabupaten Nabire kurun waktu lima tahun terakhi dari tahun 2008 – 2012 mengalami fuktuasi yang mana disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor – faktor yang penulis sudah utarakan pada bab pembahasan.

Résumé :

In this paper we study the conditions under which the stability number of line graphs, generalized line graphs and exceptional graphs attains a convex quadratic programming upper bound. In regular graphs this bound is reduced to the well known Hoffman bound. Some vertex subsets inducing sub graphs with regularity properties are analyzed. Résumé :

This study aimed to assess different microbial additives, regarding the efficiency of aerobic stability in corn silages. The corn hybrid used for silages production was the DKB 310. The treatments consisted of: 1) control treatment without any microbial additive; 2) Treatment with LPPA composed of: Lactobacillus plantarum CCT 0580 3.1 x 1010 CFU g-1 and Propionibacterium acidipropionici CCT 4843 3.1 x 1010 CFU g-1; 3) Treatment with Inoculum, composed of Bacillus subtilis CCT 0089 3.0 x 109 CFU g-1, Lactobacillus plantarum CCT 0580 1.2 x 1010 CFU g-1 and Propionibacterium acidipropionici CCT 4843 1.5 x 1010 CFU g-1 and 4) Treatment LB, composed only of Lactobacillus buchneri CCT 3746 2.6 x 1010 CFU g-1. The experimental design was completely randomized with five replicates for each treatment. For the parameters evaluated daily, we used the split plot design, in which the different silages were assigned to the plots and the time of exposure to air was assigned to the subplots. There was no difference of additives on silage pH in any of the evaluation days. The control silage reached higher temperatures indicating greater vulnerability. All additives had no aerobic instability. Silages made with the use of microbial additives were effective in maintaining the aerobic stability.

Introducción: Los eventos adversos relacionados con la instalación de sonda vesical son de los fenómenos asociadas a la atención sanitaria más comunes en México. Objetivo: Identificar que actividades de las contempladas en la intervención de enfermería, “sondaje vesical (0580)” se aplican en mayor y menor medida. Metodología: Estudio de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo y transversal. La muestra compuesta por 78 enfermeras(os), en un hospital de segundo nivel; se utilizó una lista de cotejo con 23 actividades de la intervención de enfermería sondaje vesical (0580) de la NIC, y un cuestionario para determinar las características sociodemográficas de las enfermeras. Se utilizó una escala Likert con 5 opciones de respuesta, de no realizada hasta muchas veces realizada. Se utilizó estadística descriptiva con frecuencias y porcentajes. Resultados: de 78 profesionales de enfermería el 68% fue conformado por el sexo femenino y el 32% del sexo masculino, en su mayor parte auxiliares de enfermería 37%, Las actividades realizadas con mayor frecuencia fueron las relacionadas con la prevención de infecciones y las menos realizadas con la instalación y retiro. Conclusión: La NIC presenta un numero amplio de actividades para el sondaje vesical, aunque algunas actividades tienen mayor aplicabilidad y otras son menos aplicadas por enfermeras mexicanas.

Résumé :

The aim of this study is to present a comparison of daylight evaluation after requirements of Slovak standard STN 73 0580 and after the new CEN criterion 300 lux median diffuse horizontal illuminance in three rooms with different plans and different size of windows. Minimum values of illuminance in lux calculated on the border of the working plane were investigated. This study shows how this new CEN criterion influences the length of working plane and size of its part usable for performance of visual tasks.

Abstract Introduction Obesity is a major risk factor for Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Bariatric surgery is a popular treatment modality for sustainable weight loss in obese patients with OSA. Meta-analysis of several randomized controlled trials and observational studies showed that bariatric surgery led to improvement in OSA severity but not cure. These patients will likely need continued treatment for OSA to minimize its complications. It is unclear what factors influence positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy adherence and compliance postoperatively. Our study aims to identify predictors of PAP compliance 1 month after bariatric surgery. Methods Patients who underwent bariatric surgery at our institution between April and October 2023 and had diagnosed obstructive sleep apnea were identified. The 140 patients were followed prospectively through surgery and 30-day post-surgery. Medical health records, polysomnography or home sleep study results, and on-line databases of PAP use were reviewed for each patient. We used Pearson correlation coefficient testing and t-test to examine potential predictors of PAP use in the 30-day post-operative period. Results There are statistically significant correlations (p < 0.05) between post-surgical PAP use and use during 7 days of initial set up (r = 0.642), time spent below 90% SpO2 during sleep testing (r = 0.425), time spent below 88% SpO2 (r = 0.246), pre-operative STOP-BANG (r = 0.200), and time from sleep testing to surgery (r = 0.242). Pre-surgical AHI and having been evaluated by a sleep physician pre-operatively did not show statistically significant association with post-operative PAP use. Conclusion PAP use during 7 days of initial set up is highly predictive of 1-month post-operative PAP use and may serve as a valuable marker to intervene on those patients with low use to improve long-term PAP use. Patients who were diagnosed with OSA close to their surgery had lower PAP use, suggesting patients may benefit from more time to get used to the treatment before having surgery. Support (if any)

Résumé :

Daylighting in buildings is commonly designed and evaluated after the Daylight Factor criterion which is required also by the Slovak standard STN 73 0580. The model of the overcast sky representing the worst daylight conditions is the basis of all standard daylight calculations in many countries. Currently, the prEN standard Daylighting of buildings is elaborated by the CEN TC 169 WG11. A new climatological criterion for evaluation of daylight provision is proposed to reflect various luminous conditions in European localities. This paper informs and discusses the concept of the new standard and presents an example of daylighting evaluation in an interior applying STN and new EN criteria.

Pese a sus escasos recursos, el Vicerrectorado de Investigación estimula la dedicación del docente y del estudiante a las actividades de Investigación+Desarrollo+Innovación, no obstante, muchas de estas investigaciones, en caso particular de la Facultad de Ciencias Contables, no son aplicativas para los tiempos que nos toca vivir en una sociedad globalizada.

Many laboratory and field tests are used in the literature to measure agility. The aim of the present study was to investigate the reliability and validity of a new Reactive Agility Test developed for badminton. A total of fourty male [ 20 elites (age: 20.8 ± 2.98 year, height: 174.55 ± 12.03 cm, weight: 65.70 ± 14.41 kg) and 20 sub-elites (age: 22.20±1,51, height: 170.01 ± 05.80 cm, weight: 62.45 ± 6,45 kg)] badminton players took part in the present study. For validity, the difference and relationship between newly developed reactive agility and planned changing direction tests in terms of elit and sub-elit players was examined. In the reliability measurements of test-retest, The Reactive Agility Test at same route was performed twice. Independent sample t test was carried out in order to detect the difference among the groups in the search for validity. The identification of the relations between the two different tests was performed with linear regression analysis. The reliability of test-retest was tried to be estimated with the coefficient of variances and intraclass correlation coefficient, and the Bland Altman method. In addition, a systematic difference between the test and the retest was estimated with the paired t test. At the end of the study, while there was not a significant difference found in the rates of planned changing direction of the elit and sub-elit players, it was detected that reactive agility rates were better in the elit players (7.14±4.85 sec and 9.87±5.07 sec, respectively). Moreover, a high coefficient determination was revealed between two tests (r2: 0.63, p<0.01). In the comparison of test-retest, a high intraclass correlation coefficient (0.930) and a very low coefficient of variances (4.7) were found. Furthermore, it was observed in the Bland Altman graph that a 95% of concordance range of the data obtained between two measurements was a good and narrow concordance. In conclusion, it was determined that the new developed badminton specific Reactive Agility Test is a valid and reliable measurement method and it is suggested that this test protocol can be used to enhance and monitor reactive agility ability of badminton players.Extended English summary is in the end of Full Text PDF (TURKISH) file. ÖzetLiteratürde çevikliğin ölçülmesi amacıyla birçok laboratuvar ve saha testi kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı badminton sporuna göre düzenlenmiş Reaktif Çeviklik Testinin güvenirlik ve geçerliğinin araştırılmasıdır. Araştırmaya toplam kırk erkek [20 elit (yaş: 20,8±2,98 yıl, boy uzunluğu: 174,55±12,03 cm, vücut ağırlığı:65,70±14,41 kg) ve 20 sub-elit (yaş: 22,20±1,51 yıl, boy uzunluğu: 170,01±05,80 cm, vücut ağırlığı:62,45±6,45 kg)] badminton oyuncusu katılmıştır. Geçerlik için yeni geliştirilen reaktif çeviklik ile planlı yön değiştirme testlerinin elit ve sub-elit katılımcılar arasındaki istatistiksel karşılaştırması ve ilişkisi analiz edilmiştir. Test-tekrar test güvenirlik ölçümlerinde aynı rotadaki reaktif çeviklik testi birer gün arayla iki kez uygulanmıştır. Geçerlik çalışmasında gruplar arası farkın belirlenmesi için bağımsız değişken t testi ve testler arası ilişkinin fonksiyonel olarak açıklanması ve bu ilişkinin bir modelle tanımlanması için basit doğrusal regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Test-tekrar test güvenirliği varyasyon katsayısı, sınıf içi korelasyon katsayısı ve Bland Altman metodu ile kestirim edilmiştir. Ayrıca test- tekrar test arasında sistematik bir farkın olup olmadığı eşleştirilmiş t testi ile sınanmıştır. Çalışma sonunda elit ve sub-elit oyuncuların planlı yön değiştirme bulguları anlamlı bir fark bulunmazken, reaktif çeviklik derecelerinin elit oyuncularda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklı (sırasıyla 7,14±4.85 sn ve 9,87±5,07 sn) şekilde düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla beraber her iki test arasında yüksek düzeyde bir açıklayıcılık katsayısı tespit (r2: 0,63, p<0.01) edilmiştir. Test- tekrar test karşılaştırılmasında yüksek bir sınıf içi korelasyon katsayısı (0,930) ve çok düşük varyasyon katsayısı (4,7) belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca Bland-Altman grafiğinde iki ölçüm arasında elde edilen tüm verilerin %95 uyum aralığının dar ve iyi bir uyum gösterdiği gözlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, badminton sporuna göre düzenlenmiş Reaktif Çeviklik Testinin geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm yöntemi olduğu tespit edilmiştir ve badminton oyuncularının reaktif çeviklik becerilerinin geliştirilmesinde ve gelişimlerinin takibinde kullanılabileceği önerilmektedir.

Résumé :

This paper describes a simple methodology for determining the light reflectance of some natural stones used in architectural practice. The methodology is based on the interpolation of the value lying between two etalons for which the reflectance of light was precisely measured under laboratory conditions. For field measurements there were two illumination chambers constructed; in these chambers indirect daylight was transmitted to a stone surface. Reflectance of light from the stone surface was then measured by a luxmeter in a predetermined constant height and the result was interpolated between the values of both etalons. In copending case study 300 measurements on fifteen samples of stones were performed in this manner and resulting coefficient of reflectance of light was then calculated. Resulting coefficient is applicable for the calculation of daylighting of buildings according to the standard CSN 73 0580.

Abstract Introduction Narcolepsy is a disorder of hypersomnolence with intermittent periods of sleep, hallucinations, and sleep paralysis. Social listening (SL) analyzes real-world data on social media to provide information on disease symptoms and impacts to inform clinicians about a community’s unmet needs. This research used SL with a proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) engine, which leverages natural language processing (NLP) to understand experiences of people living with narcolepsy treated with sodium oxybate (SO), a twice-nightly medication. Methods Using the proprietary AI engine to analyze text-based conversations, we evaluated 25,018 posts/comments from 15,280 participants which occurred from August 2011 to October 2022 from the subreddit r/Narcolepsy and a private Facebook group. Using a clinical entity recognition tagger, leveraging medicine ontology, conversations were filtered by mentions of (1) second dosage (e.g., second dose, 2nd) and (2) sodium oxybate (e.g., Xyrem, SO) to build a co-occurrence network for conversations discussing second doses of SO. Surveys and interviews were used to document patient SO experiences (Facebook, Discord channels, other networked contacts). Results Of 4275 subreddit users who mentioned SO, 398 (9.3%) communicated challenges with taking a second SO dose. The co-occurrence network revealed that second SO dose was co-mentioned with physical (e.g., nausea, headache) and mental (e.g., anxiety, depression, eating disorder) conditions. Of survey participants (N = 87 completed: patients, n = 85; caregivers, n = 2), 75% reported missing the second SO dose; effects included poor sleep quality, increased daytime sleepiness, mental health issues (especially depression), muscle spasms, work/school absences, and brain fog. Injuries resulting from waking to take the second dose (e.g., falls, stitches, concussions) were reported by 32%. Taking the second dose late (>4 hours after) was reported by 59% of patients. Effects of late dosing included grogginess, headache, and oversleeping, leading to school/work tardiness and missed responsibilities. When asked if a once-at-bedtime, premeasured SO dose would be safer, 76% of respondents agreed/strongly agreed. Conclusion The second nightly SO dose is associated with sleep-related issues for people with narcolepsy and their caregivers. Both the SL analysis and survey revealed that a missed/delayed second dose of SO decreased daily functioning, quality of life, and physical health. Support (if any) Avadel Pharmaceuticals.

Shading by surrounding obstacles is one of main parameters which must be considered in building design. The aim of this paper is elaboration of the façade Daylight Factor (Dw) and shading angle problems defined in the Czech Technical Standards (ČSN) - Daylighting in residential buildings ČSN 73 0580. The measure of Dw represents the value of incidental shading by surrounding obstacles. Sometimes in practice are designers dealing with administrative requirements of officials because of not exact specification of conditions in building law and consequently in ČSN. Because of not exact specifications is happening that officials are requiring requisite assessments. Such issue occurs sometimes also in problem of Daylight Factor Dw – it is not exactly determined when is an assessment of Dw necessary. This paper focused on the definitions mentioned in building law and ČSN related to this issue and proposes specific conditions for eventual Dw assessment.

Abstract Introduction Transitions into adulthood and starting higher education can be a challenge in habit formation of first-year students. Unhealthy habits related to eating, exercise, substance consumption and sleep can lead to rapid weight gain and conditions such as metabolic syndrome. Research has suggested that regardless of sleep knowledge, favorable sleep attitudes predict better sleep. Thus, our aim was to investigate whether sleep attitudes directly predicted risk for metabolic syndrome or indirectly via subjective and objective sleep measures. Methods First year college students (N=165) completed self-report measures and were brought into the lab for height, weight, body fat, blood sugar and fats, and blood pressure analyses. Participants wore FitBit Flex wristwatches to collect sleep data for seven consecutive days. Preliminary correlational analyses were conducted on sleep and obesity measures. Two separate path analyses were conducted to investigate whether there was a direct effect of sleep attitude on risk for metabolic syndrome or indirect via subjective sleep (sleep quality, duration and apnea) and objective sleep (sleep efficiency, duration and apnea). Two moderated mediations were conducted to investigate the effects of gender and age. Results The average age was 18.66 (SD=3.33) with the majority of the sample being female (63%) and White (55.9%). In our subjective sleep analysis, we found that sleep attitudes predicted quality and duration, but not apnea, and that the overall model yielded significance. In our objective model, only apnea was a significant predictor, as well as the overall model. The indirect relationships were not moderated by gender or age. Conclusion Poor sleep attitudes are related to risk for metabolic syndrome in college aged individuals. Future studies should further examine sleep attitudes as a modifiable risk factor to prevent disease. Support (If Any) NA

Résumé :

A new source localization technique is proposed in this study. The proposed source localization technique considers heterogeneity of elastic wave velocity distribution that is generally caused by local deteriorations or damages of structures on the basis of ray-trace technique. Resolutions of identified source locations are raised by installing extra source candidates near a roughly identified source location with a half of an interval of nodal and relay points in the technique. Further, the extra source candidates are installed in the vicinity of the identified source locations with a half of the previous interval, and source locations are identified again. The resolution consequently rises up to the requirement with limited computational cost by performing the procedure iteratively in the proposed technique. A series of numerical investigations were performed for verification of the proposed technique, and it was confirmed that the proposed technique identified the source locations in required resolution in a limited computational cost.
