Refusing Behaviors are those that can’t execute speakers’ instructions, and they could be divided into direct and indirect ways to do so. The previous researches of inherited refusing behaviors tell that majority of Japanese chooses indirect ways to refuse. However, both ways are harmful to go against speakers’ asks, and the differences are just how much harm they had done. For example, the direct ways to refuse are the most efficient method to show what’s in your mind, meanwhile, they make others feel uncomfortable, moreover, it may beat the relationships between each other. On the contrary, indirect ways smooth the impact. Various combinations of refusing bring diverse consequences, it will be all contained in this essay, and its’ goal is to compress the regulations of Japanese refusing behaviors. Therefore, this essay will be referred to those refusing behaviors instances in the scripts from 2000 to 2005. Chapter 3 demonstrates “directly refusal” and “indirectly refusal” 2 main ideas and will be derived into “Refusal of Minds or Words”、“No”、“Reasons”、“Avoidance”、“Responsibilities s Shift” and etc, totally 14 formulas and their functions. Different formula combinations bring different effects on smooth communication and interpersonal relationship, so they will be sorted by the frequencies of being used, and will be discussed the commons. Chapter 4 analyses the connections between the formulas in this essay and "Brown & Levinson Politeness” theory, especially in the relations between “Positive Politeness”、“Negative Politeness” and indirect refusal. Moreover, the “Without Redressive Action”、“Positive Politeness” and “Negative Politeness” these categories will be sorted by the used frequencies , then discusses their commons.

A lot of researches discussed which factors affect the managers’ investment decisions. Is the stock market an important or minus factor? Under what kind of situations stock market would become the major factors while the managers are making their investment decisions? This paper discussed whether the stock market affects managers’ investment decision under five situations. Firstly I discuss whether these managers make investment decisions based on the company’s fundamental situation or the company’s stocks price. In the second section we discuss whether the investment decisions would be different if the manager comes from a firm of financial constraints. Third, I discuss if the factors of investment decision change from a financial constraints and over-investment company. Forth, I discuss the situation from a financial constraints and under-investment company. Last I discuss the situation if the stock price is overpriced. From the above analyses I found that the managers make their investment decisions based on the targeted company’s fundamental rather than its stock performance. Moreover, I found under most situations stock market is not the important investment factor. The stock market only matters when the company is under financial constraints and under-investment situation.

The major purpose of this paper is to analyze investment behavior and performance of foreign investors in Taiwan stock market. It tries to discuss the return and performance by using investment behavior following the momentum or contrarian strategy. This research use 36 common stocks of MSCI elements as sample. The sample period is August 2000 to April 2002. The empirical results of this study are as follows: (1)Using buy ratio difference, the foreign investors tend to be momentum behavior, buying winning stocks and sell losing stock. In the five past-return horizons, momentum oriented is significant in recent short past-return horizons. (2)The foreign investors will maintain the same investment strategy for a certain period. (3)Using buy ratio difference, the foreign investors can’t generate superior performance both in long term period and short term period. When using Jensen αindex, Jensen α value above zero, but do not significant. The foreign investors use momentum behavior can’t generate abnormal returns.

Abstract There are three purposes of this study: (1) investigate the social behaviors of ASD/G group among multiple informants. (2) examine the discrepancy of the social behaviors of ASD/G among multiple informants (3)compare the social behaviors with ASD/G and Gifted group among multiple informants. This study intends to use Social Behavior Assessment System For Children(SBASC)to assess the social behaviors of the gifted students with Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD/G). SBASC comprised 3 scale: the teacher rating scale (TRS),parent rating(PRS),and self-report scale(SRS).TRS, PRS, and SRS all included two scale: Social Competence Scale (SCS) and Problem Behavior Scale (PBS). The findings of this study are as follows: (1)TRS and PRS showed that ASD/G excelled in academic performances, but they did not perform as well on emotional management and autonomous behaviors. SRS also showed that ASD/G excelled in academic performances, but they only did not perform as well on emotional management.(2) The analysis of discrepancy between TRS, PRS and SRS found that teacher’s ratings on the emotional management and academic habits were higher than parental and self-ratings. Teacher’s rating on the autonomous behaviors, communication/expression, cooperation/sympathy and academic performances were higher than self-ratings. Parental and self-ratings on the attention problems and hyperactivity/impulse were higher than teacher’s rating. Teacher’s rating on the oppositional were higher than parental ratings. Self-ratings on the anxiety, withdrawal/pessimistic were higher than teacher’s and parental ratings.(3) TRS and PRS showed that gifted students performed better than ASD/G students on most scales of SCS, but SRS showed that except for academic habits and academic performances. TRS, PRS and SRS showed that ASD/G students performed weaker on the attention problems, hyperactivity/impulse, Oppositional, anxiety and withdrawal/pessimistic than gifted students. Finally, pedagogical implications and directions for future research are suggested. A Study of the Relationships between the Leadership Behaviors of Tug of War Coaches and Pullers’ Performance Abstract This study is to explore the relationship between perceived coach leadership behaviors and preferable coach leadership behaviors among tug-of-war pullers in elementary schools as well as the differences in their performance. Two hundred and ninety-five male and female pullers, who competed in the 4th Tug of War Championship of the National Council Cup on Physical Fitness and Sports in 2003, participated in this research. Questionnaire surveys and “Tug-of-war Coach Leadership Behavior Scales” are used. The data collected from the study is analyzed by Descriptive statistics, Independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffe Method, and Pearson''s correlation, and the study results are listed as follows: 1. Tug-of-war athletes at elementary schools with different background variables are significantly different in perceived coach leadership behaviors. There are significant differences among background variables such as “gender,” “years spent with coaches,” and “grade” in perceived coach leadership behaviors. 2. Tug-of-war pullers at elementary schools with different background variables are significantly different in preferable coach leadership behaviors. There are significant differences among the background variables such as “gender,” “training sections per week,” and “grade” in preferable coach leadership behaviors. 3. In terms of the relationships between perceived and preferable coach leadership behaviors of pullers at elementary schools, five dimensions such as “training and instruction,” “democratic behavior,” “autocratic behavior,” and “social support” as well as “positive feedback” are significantly different. 4. Teams that differ in performance also respond differently to perceived and preferable coach leadership behaviors. (1) Winning teams score higher in “training and instruction” and “positive feedback” from perceived coach leadership behaviors than other participating teams. (2) As for preferable coach leadership behaviors, winning teams score higher in “training and instruction” and “social support behavior” than other participating teams. Following the upcoming Information Age and the fast development of cyber technology, internet has almost become an indispensable technique for elementary school students. However, over-indulgence in the cyber world could cause damages to students’ physical and psychological health. The negative outcomes include decrease of students’ academic performance and increase of alienation on their parental relationships. Thus, these negative impacts should not be neglected. Purpose of this study is to analyze cyber behavioral differences of upper grade students of elementary schools - based on their contextual and family factors. This study also further explores the correlations between students’ academic achievement and their cyber using behaviors. This study used questionnaire survey and found that 90% of students have network device at homes, 70% of parents surf the internet, and 72% of parents place restrictions on students’ surfing hours. The major motivation for students to surf the internet was to play the online games. Up to 78% of students had techniques in using search engines. They were also used to find the necessary cyber knowledge by searching on the webs. Students in different sex and age had different cyber behaviors. But students living in different family styles and areas had minor difference in their cyber behaviors. As to the question: whether families with different network devices or with parents (who had skills in surfing the internet and place restrictions on students’ surfing hours) would result in different cyber behaviors of students. The research results showed that students’ cyber behavior was significantly correlated with two factors: sufficiency of family’s network device and parents’ concerning level towards’ students’ cyber behaviors. On the other hand, elementary school students’ performance on the subjects of Chinese and Mathematics had part correlation with their cyber behavior, especially that students surfing internet for homework needs and using the search engine to find information had better performance in Chinese and Mathematics. This showed that the positive network use behavior had certain help to the academic achievement performance.

This research aims to realize the process of gender identification of the lower-grade elementary students by studying their behaviors. The total twenty-five samples, male and female, are second-grade students from His-Yen Elementary School in Taipei. This research is conducted by recording the twenty-five students’ behaviors at school and then analyzing the differences in their formation of gender identities. In spite of the above-mentioned records, this research also includes the interviews with one elementary school teacher who teaches the second-grade students, one of the twenty-five students’ parent. The conclusion manifests: I.The boys appear to have masculine behaviors more frequently than the girls do. Likewise, the girls perform feminine behaviors more frequently than the boys do. Therefore, the boys’ behaviors tend to present masculine traits and the girls’ feminine. II.The masculine traits include physical aggressiveness, sense of superiority, adventurousness, love of competition. In the aspect of verbal communication, frankness, domination over others, interruption, talkativeness are taken as masculine traits, while in the aspect of non-verbal communication, rudeness and exaggeration are included. The feminine traits are aggressiveness by negative facial expressions, empathy, intimacy and need of help. III.The lower-grade male students’ behaviors show gender stereotype, that is, they are restricted to the belief that “a boy should act like a boy.” At the same time, compared with the girls, the boys exert stronger binding force among their peers of same sex to carry out the belief. IV.Both the boys and girls present sexual differences and gender segregation when they are playing toys, games and forming groups, which testifies that the phenomena of gender segregation exit among the lower-grade elementary students. Moreover, this study discusses the correlation between gender identification and behaviors, sexual differences, and the factors that decides children’s gender identity. At the end of this study are also stated the applicable suggestions for practice and further study.

It is an important matter that the level of professionalism with the financial consultants has to be raised in order for the banks to gain predominance in the competition. Meanwhile, the personality of the consultants and the satisfaction of the customers both lead to a significant indication whether the bank is going to survived or not. The purpose of the study was to analyze the result of handling charge revenue of trust products and relative factors that influence the result from the case study of financial consultants. The evaluation of the result was based on the characteristics of regional banking management criteria. Moreover, through interviews with the experts in the industry, the study also tried to showcase the various factors of financial consultants that influenced the result of their banking business. The main findings of the study were summarized as follows:(1)The financial consultants showed better performance when the general income of sales was higher; (2)Senior(experienced) financial consultants revealed more proficient executive ability in the areas such as fund, insurance, structured note or multi-dimensioned areas of business, and therefore showed better performance in the result of their business. (3)Brand name choice factor for the investors showed higher level of influence in rural/town type of business location than urban ones. (4)Financial consultants who had better personal qualities tended to communicate with the clients better, and were well-accepted and trusted by their consumers. The result of their performance was therefore raised.

The aim of this research is to examine the relationships among the securities industry’s relationship benefits(confidence benefit, social benefit, special treatment benefit), relationship quality(satisfaction, commitment) and customer voluntary performance behaviors(loyalty behaviors, cooperative behaviors, participatory behaviors). This study uses a questionnaire and statistical analysis method. It employs the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to analyze the influence of a securities industry’s relationship benefits, relationship quality, customer voluntary performance behaviors. The results of the study were as follows: (1) a securities industry’s confidence benefit significantly positively affects its satisfaction, commitment ; (2) a securities industry’s social benefit significantly positively affects its satisfaction, commitment ; (3) a securities industry’s special treatment benefit significantly positively affects its satisfaction, commitment; (4) a securities industry’s satisfaction significantly positively affects its loyalty behaviors, cooperative behaviors, participatory behaviors ; (5) a securities industry’s commitment significantly positively affects its loyalty behaviors, cooperative behaviors, participatory behaviors.

The immigration of foreign brides started at the end 70s and the beginning of 80s in the 19th century. In Taiwan, many veterans had difficulty finding the matches for their marriage; the women in Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia were then introduced to these veterans to establish the cross-country marriage. The majority of these veterans were having low socio-economic status, living in the suburban area, or demonstrating dysfunction physically, psychologically, or mentally. In addition, usually, these foreign brides were young when they got pregnant, were not well-educated in their own country, and might not fully comprehend Chinese. The children with the demographics described above might have disadvantages in the area of their health, their self-identity, their daily behaviors, their capability of learning and their performance. Thus, the academic achievement and the behavioral performance in these children are worth to study. The purposes of this study were to explore (a) the motivation of these foreign brides on choosing the cross-country marriage, (b) the cross-cultural adjustment shock in these foreign brides, and (c) the impact of this particular demographic background on the children’s behavioral performance. This study was a “Qualitative Research” that based on phenomenology and hermeneutics. Derived from the literature, the semi-structured guidelines for interview were developed and the in-depth interviews were administered. The purposive sampling was used to select the participants in this study. The descriptive data were inducted and were analyzed. The findings of this study listed as follow. (1). The economic factor was the major motivation of accepting the cross-country marriage in the foreign brides. To relief their family burden and to financially improve their family life also motivated their decision. Hence, having friends or relatives in Taiwan might also be the reinforcer. (2). Foreign brides demonstrated the difficulty in the areas of dietary habits, language communication, living styles, and social interaction. Foreign brides commonly displayed some sorts of emotional disturbing, for examples, homesick feeling, sleepless, loneliness, angry, anxiety, and regret. The emotional unstable in these foreign brides might result from their cross-cultural maladjustment and certainly would have the negative impacts on their children’s performance. (3). The children of foreign brides were found to demonstrate the negative performance, low academic achievement, and the delayed in the language development. The low socio-economic status in their family, the negative parenting styles (e.g., ignore, neglect), the difficulty in the communication among family members, the atmosphere of family conflicting, and the low educational level of the primary caretaker were the reasons for the low performance in these children. However, the finding also indicated that the children would have the good performance when fathers take charge of parenting and educating the children. (4). The children of foreign brides commonly displayed the delayed in their language development. Additionally, they might also demonstrate some sorts of negative behaviors that might develop as the anti-social behaviors or criminal behaviors in the future when they reach their adolescenthood. Therefore, this population certainly needs to be closely monitored and guided. The study limitations were described and the suggestions for future study were made below. (1). Legalize the management of the match makers and organizations. (2). Establish the official organizations to be in charge of the related issues. (3). Develop the systematic educational programs in the areas of cross-country marriage and parenting. (4). Promote the public understanding and respect toward foreign brides through media. (5). Reduce the difference in people’s educational level with well-coordinated the social sources (e.g., volunteers, enterprises, religions). (6). Arrange the subvention to encourage the foreign brides to join the tours or to develop their own leisure activities, for the purposes of facilitating their understanding of this culture and enhancing their adjustment within Taiwan society. (7). Teachers in school should pay more attention to the children of foreign brides and closely supervise/guide these children. (8). Encourage their engagement of activities or events that held by schools and communities. (9). Educate foreign brides to actively seek help when they have any difficulties/problems or have any troubles. There are a lot of serious accidences about medical treatment appearing during these years. For example, North City Hospital typed wrong needle and Chuog Ai Clinic gave wrong medicine. It seems like the problems on medical treatment easily to be found in our daily lives. However, people always focus on the behavior of the nurses. With the storm of SARS, many nurses quit and some nurses who past the blockade line illegally in Hou Pin Hospital. Absolutely, they influence people on the typical knowledge about nurses. The personalities of nurses were honorable for people. While more and more negative news about nurses appear, people shock at the changes and change their ideas about honorable nurses. For these reasons, this research aims to find out the behaviors of the nurses, whose attitudes in their jobs, through the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). To observe the consideration of nurses and other reasons that probably influences their attitude on jobs. The target people in this research are the legal nurses of hospitals in Kaohsiung County. They are the population of this research. The population for this study was 223 nurses; total of 185 valid responses were received for an overall response of 86%. The questionnaire is based on the theory of TPB including “attitude”, “subjective norm”, “perceived behavioral control”, and “behavioral intention”. Moreover, this research cares the variety of “moral obligation” which is discussed at first time in this area. This is to explain the varieties of behaviors. Finally, it will be analyzed these varieties through personal differences. Moreover, LISREL is the way to analyze the factors of nurses’ behaviors on jobs. This research is used it to analyze the confirmatory factors through the observation of factors, potential factors could appear. For these reasons, LISREL is valuable to be practiced for this research. With LISREL, it will be easy to compare the relationship between the research questions and research founds. Also, the variation will be easily observed to find out the key factors of nurses’ behaviors on jobs. Research founds: 1. The factors of “attitude”, “subjective norm”, “perceived behavioral control”, “behavioral intention” can influence the behaviors of jobs for nurses. The highest one is behavioral intention. Also, the average of the whole behavior is more than 3. It means most nurses have positive attitudes on their jobs. 2. “Egoism” is the most important factor for “attitude”. “Primary group” is the most essential factor for “subjective norm”. Following these, the convenience of facilitating of jobs has the most influent on “perceive behavioral control”. 3. Through the way of “ANOVA”, it is presented the results without personal variations, which is found out the theory of moral obligation that has an inverse proportion with the ages of target nurses. 4. All personal variations of “job behavior intention” of nurses have no direct influence. It means that the good behaviors on jobs have no influence on different personal backgrounds. This research verifies for the hypothesis of the theory of reasoned action (Ajzen 1980).

This study is first to investigate Yuchang Junior High School students’ experiences with Internet Cafés, and then to try to understand what different outcomes the experiences would incur, and last in hopes to offer forte levels between these students’ experiences with Internet cafés and their delinquent behaviors, in terms of gender, grade, social status, family structure, computer facility available, academic performance and overall performance, so as to act as a reference to schools, families and the society, and to offer further studies. The research tools employed for this particular study are Questionnaire on Adolescent’s Experience with Internet Cafés designed by Prof. Fang-ming Huang, vice CEO of Shiang Yang Education and Culture Foundation, and Adaptation Measurement on Adolescent’s Behaviors designed by Mei-yao Ho. A total sample of five classes, i.e., 374 students, are selected randomly from the second and third grades of this school. With only some ineffective questionnaires returned, 363 copies are taken back to the researcher with useful copies accumulating to a high rate of 97.06%, and among the students surveyed and counted, 165 are male, while 198 are female. Major findings are as follows: A.The sketch of these students’ experiences with Internet cafés reveals that 1.59% of these students are Internet café consumers; the consumer population is higher and still mounting, comparing with the outcome published by Shiang Yang Education and Culture Foundation, 2.these students stay at the cafés at least three times a week, and that 3.78.5% of them go there in company. B.The students’ backgrounds vs. Internet café experiences formula depicts that 1.their experiences with Internet cafés differ apparently among various grades; this experience-grade relation falls onto a middle-forte level, 2.their experiences with Internet cafés also differ between genders, in which males have more experiences than females; this experience-grade relation is weak, 3.all the students’ experiences with Internet cafés differ among different social statuses, in which low social status family students have more experiences with the cafés than middle and high social status family students; the relation between café experience and social status is also weak, 4.different family structures cause different Internet café experiences among junior high students, in which a student who temporarily stays at a relative’s home has more experiences with the cafés than the one who stays with his/her stepfamily, biological family, or single-parent family. The relation between family structures and Internet cafés is also a weak one. When we take a closer look we clearly find that the student who stays at his/her stepfamily has far fewer experiences with the cafés than the other family structure students. 5.a difference is also found existing between students who have their own computers and those who don’t. The self-owned computer-Internet café relation is on the middle-forte scale. 6.a difference is also detected when we compare the students’ academic performances to their experiences with Internet cafés. 60% of the students whose grades ranging from B to E have experiences with cafés, while only 30% of the students whose grades are A do. In the author’s opinion, this outcome deserves a further study. The grade-Internet café relation forte is in a middle level, and that 7.the author spots a forte difference when it comes to students’ overall performances and their Internet café experiences; however, this relation is weak. Among the students whose overall grades are between C and D, 70% have such café experiences. C.The impacts the students’ experiences with Internet cafés on their delinquent behaviors are that 1.junior high school students’ delinquent behaviors are linked to their experiences with Internet cafés; no matter what category these behaviors are located in, outward infringements or just bad habits, they are on the difference-is-apparent level. Both of the two variables are on the strong-forte scale, and that 2.both of the infringements and habits differ regarding to what the café open time periods are to the students; the relation falls onto a middle-forte level. Applications (Some suggestions for school-related institutes) A.The school should do the followings to improve students’ behaviors: 1.Have a concrete instructor-advisor operating device. 2.Have a comprehensive understanding on students’ behaviors in class. 3.Pay more attentions to students who don’t stay with their parents. 4.Let the public have an easy access to the school’s Internet sources. B.The family members are suggested to 1.set up reasonable and feasible rules regulating Internet usages, 2.understand how their youngsters spend their money, and 3.gain more knowledge on adolescent development. C.The society are also accountable to 1.set up rules regulating where can an Internet café be situated and what are the restrictions regarding the café’s surroundings, and to 2.educate café owners to abide by the regulations.

Addiction involves association of environmental stimuli with drug reward and thus learning and memory processes. Conditioned place preference (CPP) is a widely adopted animal model for studying neural mechanisms underlying addictive memory. Previous findings from this laboratory (Lin, 1999) indicate that amphetamine induced CPP was hard to extinguish and had two components: Memories for positive and negative emotions, respectively, for the amphetamine and saline pairing chambers. The former engaged the amygdala (Amyg) and the latter the nucleus accumbens (NAc) and ventral hippocampus (VH). The Amyg and NAc were involved in acquisition and expression, while the VH was in consolidation and expression. Based on this ground, the present thesis addressed issues concerning formation, expression and extinction of CPP in rats. That the Amyg and NAc were not involved in CPP memory consolidation (Lin, 1999) were hard to interpret and inconsistent with a recent report (Hsu, Schroeder, & Packard, 2002). A paradigm of one-trial CPP was developed and posttraining infusion of DNQX (a non-NMDA receptor blocker) into the two regions was adapted to resolve the issue. The results showed that immediate posttraining infusion of DNQX into the NAc, but not Amyg, significantly impaired memory consolidation. Lin (1999) has shown that memory retrieval in the CPP relied on the right Amyg, which is involved in the positive emotion memory. By infusing lidocaine into a target region, the present thesis found that retrieving CPP memory also relied on the right NAc, which is involved in the negative emotion memory. While the VH was also conceived to handle negative emotion memory, lateralization in memory expression was not detected: Both sides appeared to be critical. These data lend more support to the right-hemisphere dominance for affective memory and suggest that the role of VH may not be relevant to processing emotional information. Given the persistence of CPP memory, the present study explored various ways that might lead to its elimination or reduction. The results showed that staying at the home cage for 8 days resulted in forgetting of the preference, yet forced extinction for 8 daily trials only reduced it. Further, 3 repeated trials given in a spaced manner (1 trial per day) extinguished the preference but had little effect if it was massively given 24 hours after learning, suggesting that extinction of CPP might be a new learning. The above results further refine our understanding of mnemonic mechanisms underlying CPP and lead to revision of the CPP memory model proposed by Lin (1999). The data also provide important clues for treating drug addiction, that is, if addiction involves memory hard to extinguish, then one may consider intercepting the drug taking habit at every possible stage of its memory processing.

The relationship of self efficacy, parental expectations, teacher expectations, academic performance and behavior disturbance of students in elementary schools Wu Meng Chung Abstract This study was designed to investigate the relationship of self efficacy, parental expectations, teacher expectations, academic performance and behavior disturbance of students in elementary schools. There were 513 fifth and sixth grade students of elementary schools, including 272 boys and 241 girls, who participated in this study. Self efficacy, parental expectations, teacher expectations and behavior disturbance were measured by the following tools : (1) Perceived Competence Scale for Children, (2)The Elementary School Students’ Perceptions of Teachers’ Expectations Inventory, (3) The elementary School Students’ Perceptions of Parents’ Expectations Inventory, (4)Behavior Disturbance Scale, besides, the academic performance was documented by scores of Chinese and mathematics examination of mid-term. The data obtained by above methods was analyzed by independent-samples t-test, Pearson production-moment correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. The results were summarized as follows: A. Difference in social efficacy, parental expectations, teacher expectations and behavior disturbance between genders and grades of elementary schools 1. There was no significant difference in social efficacy including general self-worth efficacy, cognitive competence efficacy and social competence efficacy between genders except physical competence efficacy, male is superior to female in physical competence efficacy. 2. There was no significant difference in parental expectations including providing opportunity for participating in activity, regardness of academic performance, parent-child interaction, providing accessory reference for learning between genders. 3. There was no significant difference in teacher input of teacher expectations between genders. However, the difference was noted in teacher feedback. The scores of teacher feedback in female were higher than male. 4. General behavior disturbance revealed significant difference between genders especially in family disturbance, social disturbance and school disturbance. In addition, the extent of behavior disturbance in male was more severe than female. 5. No significant difference was noted in self-worth efficacy, social competence efficacy, cognitive competence efficacy and physical competence efficacy between fifth and sixth grade students of primary school. 6. There was no significant difference in providing opportunity for participating in activities, regardness of academic performance and providing accessory reference for learning of parental expectations, but fifth grade students significantly differed from sixth grade students in parent-child interaction. 7. Fifth grade students were not significantly different from sixth grade students in teacher input and teacher feedback of teacher expectations. 8. Fifth grade students differed significantly from sixth grade students in behavior disturbance including social disturbance and disturbance in physical and mental development, this kind of disturbance was more observed in fifth grade students. B. The behavior disturbance can be predicted by social competence efficacy, self-worth efficacy, cognitive competence efficacy, regardness of academic performance, and parent-child interaction. C. The academic performance can be predicted efficiently by cognitive competence efficacy, regradness of academic performance in parental expectations, and teacher feedback in teacher expectations. Suggestions for teachers involving in school guidance and directions for further research were also discussed. Abstract The purpose of this study was to understand the relationship between Person-organization fit, life adjustment and learning performance. In addition, whether a cadets’ proactivity behaviors could moderate the relation between Person-organization fit (before one month) and Person-organization fit (after four months).The study were based on longitudinal designs. Subjects were selection from 300 freshmen of six military colleges. Subjects needed be measured two times 4 months apart . the conclusion were: (1)There are partial differences between Person-organization fit (before one month) and Person-organization fit (after four months). (2) The correlation between Person-organization fit (before one month)and life adjustment was no significantly, but Person-organization fit (before one month) and learning performance had negative correlation. The correlation between Person-organization fit (after four months) and life adjustment was positive, but Person-organization fit(after four months) and learning performance had negative correlation. (3) Person-organization fit (after four months) did not mediate the relationship between Person-organization fit (before one month) ,life adjustment and learning performance. (4) Proactivity behaviors about action only moderated the relationship between Person-organization fit (before one month) and Person-organization fit(after four months). The purposes of the present study include: (a) whether methamphetamine (MAMPH) can induce attention deficit and hyperactivity to mimic the schizophrenia-like symptoms. (b). MAMPH-induced schizophrenia-like rats could affect conditioned taste aversion (CTA) of implicit memory as well as episodic memory of explicit memory in the E-maze task. (c). Whether haloperidol, clozapine, and quetiapine can reduce the impairment of episodic memory and facilitation of CTA effect? The results indicated that MAMPH did not cause attentional deficits but it induced hyperactivity with the context-dependence way. Rats with MAMPH treatment could facilitate effects of CTA. However, it decreased the effect of episodic memory. A neuroleptic drug haloperidol did not affect the facilitation of CTA and the impairment of episodic memory. Clozapine and quetiapine can inhibit the facilitation of CTA and the impairment of episodic memory. Furthermore, the treatment effect of quetiapine is seemingly better than those of clozapine. Taken together, MAMPH-induced schizophrenia can increase CTA (i.e. implicit memory) and decrease episodic memory (i.e., explicit memory). Some issues should be concerned: How schizophrenia implicates the explicit and implicit memories? Why the treatment effect of quetiapine is better than those of haloperidol and clozapine? These two issues should be investigated in the further studies.

A Study of Fifth & Sixth Graders’ Environmental Sensibility, Knowledge and Behaviors of Green School in Miaoli County The main purpose of this study was to research the current status of the environment sensibility, knowledge and behaviors for the fifth and sixth graders in elementary school of Miaoli County. And it was to compare the students from green schools and non-green school among of the differences of the environmental sensibility, knowledge and behaviors. In order to reach the purpose, the samples were included 486 students of fifth grade and sixth grade in 5 green schools and 5 non-green schools of Miaoli County, and researcher adopted the “questionnaire survey” in major and interview in minor. The data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson product- moment correlation and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The result of the study appeared that the students in green schools and non-green schools all cared about the environment and were sensitive to the change of environment and had positive and good behaviors. But the aspect of environmental knowledge is insufficient, so it needs to strengthen. The environmental activities of green schools and non-green schools were dead alive and not various. The students’ environmental knowledge had significantly differences towards grade, environmental experience and social status. As to the environmental behavior, different gender was significantly different, but others had no significance. For the students, there was a significant positive correlation among of the environmental sensibility, knowledge and behaviors. For the green school students and non-green school students, they were not significantly different at environmental sensibility, knowledge about environmental question and behaviors. The analysis of the open-form questions shows: The action of the environmental education should access through mass medium and combine the social resource. And it can combine the environment education with society, family, and school to exert the most power. However, the establishment of green school is useful for the extension of environmental education. But how to make it efficient is needed further research.
